Reviews of Big Easy Bar BQ & Crabshack
L. 4.
We fancied something quick and simple before the cinema last night (Scream if you were asking 😉) and the Big Easy was just the ticket!
We are big Chicken Wing fans, and these were much much better than we expected… the voodoo sauce was very similar to buffalo sauce (our fave!!! 😍) and the blue cheese sauce was delicious!!
Service was good and very friendly, food was out super quick and was piping hot.. and the place itself has a great atmosphere!!
The menu itself is much more expansive than we tried on our visit last night, with lots and lots of choice - both Steak and Lobster seemed very popular choices!!
We did also get a side order of Chicken Caesar salad (keeping us honest), but got stuck in before we had chance to take a picture!! 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Only slight grumble was regarding the toilets - Mrs L4T compared it to the scene of a war crime…although she has been known to exaggerate from time to time!!! 😆😉
Our fave things: Them Chicken Wings and blue cheese sauce - wow wow wow!!

Nice decor and venue, really spacious. Good options for food and so many spirits. Lobster is good but not amazing. Meat was covered in bbq sauce which ruined the taste. Overall, not sure it’s worth the price for food (£230 for 4 of us), but good vibe and evening out.

I can’t even begin to describe how delicious this meal was. It was a last-minute day out and we were so happy that the hostess was able to accommodate us and find us a table. We opted for ordering the barbecue deluxe blow out, the cheesy chips and shared the pitmaster bbq sandwich. The meal was more than enough for the both of us as the portions are pretty decent.

We booked a table for my birthday and we had a lot of expectations that were happily exceeded. The staff were great and seemed to be happy working there. The food and alcoholic slushies were great. Definitely try to share different food to get the best experience possible. We'll be back for sure.

The staff (excluding the bouncer) were nice and friendly.
I had the deluxe bar.b.q blow out. Brisket was soft but a bit salty. The pulled pork was covered in thick sauce and wasn’t juicy, it was dry.
The corn bread could be a muffin or a Madeira cake.
The bouncer was incredibly rude. I told him we had a reservation under a certain name but he continued to ask for our names and that we weren’t on time (a friend already arrived on time and was at the table).
C. B.
We had shared platters and I've never seen so much food! They did really well managing us as a table of 12.
Only reasons for not giving 5 stars is because there was a lot of wasted food so I think the portions are a bit too big and we had to chase a few times for drinks. This may be unique to the platters and the fact we were a large group.
The quality of the food was exceptional, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good.

Came here on a Saturday, and ordered the bbq chicken and shrimp which was great and definitely more than enough food for one person. The staff were all friendly and it’s in a great location.
The table was in a corner that was definitely too small for a two seater table though, couldn’t really move the chair to get in and out and felt a little squashed. This also meant I was quite close to the table next to me and felt quite loud as though we were all dining together.
Apart from that, had a good time and would recommend to any lobster or BBQ lovers!

As a chain Big Easy offer a good themed BBQ experience with a real buzz in terms of atmosphere especially when they have live music on. They have a very extensive and impressive bar and the cocktail slushies went down very well. The food comes in decent sized portions served up on metal trays and cast iron skillets for the sides. A variety of sauces are available though these were never offered and we had to ask if they could bring some over. The pit grill offerings have a deep smokey flavour that is very satisfying. Burnt ends are crispy and leave you wanting more. The starters we're good but I felt a bit deflated that the chicken tenders were more nachos than bird. The staff were friendly but it seemed somewhat distracted. You get the feeling that they are very under pressure though it didn't have any major detriment to our meal. A good shout for a BBQ joint and worth returning to but in a much lower league to somewhere like smokestak.

Had the ribeye steak thought it would of been bigger everything was an add on to the bill! Food was really nice just think why is everything else not included. Why would I want to eat just a plate of steak!
J. G.
Food was incredible. Atmosphere was perfect. The live music was just the icing on the top of an insane cake. Easily one of the best places we have ever eaten and definitely the best BBQ restaurant we have seen. The fact it's only a 5 minute walk from Leicester Square as well, just incredible.
M. B.
The food was yummy. And for the first time my larger self struggled to eat the food. Meat was wonderfully cooked. Oreo shake was lovely n thick. Service was a tad slow but understandable on a busy day
M. S.
Omg this place is brilliant!
So firstly I walked from one restaurant to another in the pouring rain, when I came across The Big Easy, I knew this was the restaurant for me.
I asked the guy at the door for a table, unfortunately he said its fully booked, however I asked a little cheeky question, " I'm one little person by her self, your telling me you cant fit me in"? With that I got it..yey!
So I sat at the bar and I ordered, this is it people..I ordered the half lobster and processo at £25, a no brainer.... omg delicious 🥂🍽🍤
I took my time and savored every bite.
The only down side was when you receive the bill, the service charge, so your not really paying £25.. it's a bit of a rip off. I personally feel service charge should be our choice.
Saying that, the staff were really nice and friendly.
The food, AMAZING, AMAZING. A great choice of food on the menu.
Definitely recommend.

Our last experience here was really great and totally impressed me. In the past, we've had some hit or miss meals here (although the food has always been great, the service wasn't always) but we opted to try it again for their bottomless brunch and we were not disappointed. The cocktail and beer sizes were massive (almost like steins) and when you ask for prosecco, they bring a bottle over! Very proactive and we were able to make our most from the cost in drinks for sure. The food itself was fantastic too and we had a range of different meals, ranging from bottomless BBQ to lobster mac and cheese to a lobster and shrimp roll. Everything was delicious! The service was really good too and we had a range of different people coming over to check on us. I was so impressed with everything and we would definitely recommend a visit, especially as it's such great value for money.

For the carnivores!!!
Huge portions of delicious slow cooked meat. Very tasty.
P. C.
The food was amazing, most certainly enough to feed us all, but the service took a but longer then we would have hoped. But still a lovely evening
N. S.
Friendly staff, good drinks and nice food. I had the 1lb Texas dinner and it was great, my gf had the lobster and she was happy too.
K. T.
Had a great lunch with selection of meats and shrimp. Fall off the bone ribs, soft brisket, beef and cornbread. My favourite is Voodoo wings. Chicken breasts and shrimps were a bit overcooked for me.
Like most restaurants, you need to book in advance.
N. V.
Excellent food. Practically everything smoked is great. Seafood is also great I'm told although not tried any
Outstanding bar especially if you like whisky or bourbon based cocktails. Great service very accommodating especially for groups.
C. F.
Nice place and good food and portion sizes. Had the sharing platter for 2 and to be honest that would have been enough. Ribs were juicy and tender but would have been better for me if i was provided with a range of bbq sauces. Fries could have been thinner too.

Good points:
Drinks where nice - old fashion was really nice
Vibes where good for a catch up with friends
Steaks are good
Bad points:
We went on a Tuesday and was able to get their sea food boil I would not recommend it was just tommato supp with 3 prawns not worth the money every if it's unlimited.
241 cocktail with most of the cocktail not on the options be careful!
Service so hard to get someone over to order food
Overall really disappointed some food was good but the sea food boil put me off please change the recipe!!!!
J. I.
I always come here every year because I love the spicy seafood pot and atmosphere. But last time the service and food was slightly dissapointing. We went in the evening, instead of lunch time, so it was busier than what I was used to. My seafood pot wasn't as tasty as before. It felt like the dish was rushed and left out as it was lukewarm when served and lacked its udusl flavour.
We asked 3 different staff 5 times for a jug of water. Didn't receive the right utensils for the food till halfway of eating. The unlimited shrimp took 25 minutes to be topped up, we only got 5 extra shrimp. Wasn't worth waiting another 25 minutes for a top up. So we never had the chance to indulge in the deal properly. The staff seemed overwhelmed so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. We ended up laughing about the service with the couple next to us who seemed to have the same experience. But they were not impressed.
Great atmosphere, the food is decent when they have time, but I recommend visiting when it's less busy and the staff can offer better service.
P. M.
This is a great restaurant to enjoy the food from, I have been meaning to try the big easy for ages. I was here with two friends yesterday (23/01/2022). My starter was the garlic butter mussel with garlic bread. My two friends and I had a patter between us and that was amazing the only item on the platter that was not nice was the fried calamari. It was small and over done.
My main was the grilled garlic 2lb butter lobster which is very light and filling with my starter's as its huge big portions. I washed it down with three pints of coke Zero and an old fashion cocktail.
R. J.
Had the bottomless brunch, food was very good but chicken was very dry. Ribs, steak and pulled pork were lovely. Staff were really good and kept the drinks coming, we had endless beers, cocktails and prosecco on our table and the staff were not being difficult and kept topping us up no issues. Nice place and good atmosphere. Pre book as it's very busy for walk ins
S. M.
The food is great - meat literally falls off the bone, the lobster rolls are served in soft buttery bread. The ambiance is engaging. One star removed for spotty service - not as friendly as one would expect in an otherwise top class institution.
M. H.
I had high expectations for this place. The website and menu looked great. What let it down was the absolutely miserable staff and the really sad presentation of food. Even a sprinkle of black pepper or chopped herbs would of lifted the dish. We had a different server each time and not one smiled. Our food was just thrown to us and they quickly legged it. It wasn't busy so not sure why.
l. p.
Lobster was so tasty, portions were big so i was stuffed. Our waiter made the day special when he bought out the cake. Would recommend if you like seafood.
C. L.
The Experience an atmosphere was good. Di food was Delicious very yummy I enjoyed. Customer service was Okay we waited a while to place our order. But everything else was fine. 3 stars thumps up.
R. P. Q.
Only went for the all you can eat shrimps on Tuesdays! It was better than I expected so I am very happy. Service is great, serving size is excellent as you can get a refill as much as you can. The drink that comes with it could have been bigger or at least a free refill too! Ambiance is great. They have live music too playing some country music. So overall, a great experience.
D. L.
Very American style place. A lot of smoked meat options and others. Everything we had was good and we enjoyed it a lot. Place got lobster options as well as I saw some people with the plastic bibs. Music was maybe a bit too loud but not a big deal. Really enjoyed the sink to wash your hands close to the tables as you eat your ribs ans can easily was your hands :)
R.
Went to have Crabshack but they were not available that evening.
Ordered Bbq ribs and Shrimps instead. Ribs were average and shrimps were jucier and nicer, but only 3 in quantity.
The service was slow. had to ask for everything from plates to cutlery. we were not provided any bowl/plate for bones, which are far too many when eating chicken wings to keep bones in same plate in which its being served.
Having tried Big Easy Canary Wharf, would say the service and the place is much nicer. will be visiting Canary wharf next time.
N. E.
We've been going to big easy in covent Gardens for over 4 years now, the service has slowly gone down hill, to be honest my worst experience was last night, the food is good, my husband had his whole lobster delivered to our table but no cutlery was provided for it, no plastic bib, no hand wipes, no sauces offered, no salt or pepper on the table. Needless to say we had to help ourselves to all this, no attention or care from waitress. Constantly trying to get their attention, and to be honest this is the quietest I have ever seen this restaurant and couldn't cope with basic service.
B. C.
Great food, serve shocking, couldn't tell staff from customers. Wasn't asked if we wanted anything extra when food arrived, no condiments offered, no plates, napkins or additional drinks. Had to ask 3 different people for the bill as only serving staff could do that. 12.5% serves charge on bill.
K. J.
Great atmosphere - lively and busy and quite an exciting menu. However, service and food were average - serving staff were not that attentive and a little grumpy and the food was a bit bland. Probably wouldn't return.
C. R.
Lovely food in very good size portions, with love music every night.
E. F.
Nice atmosphere, good service ok food, a bit heavy… lobster roll a huge disappointment, mixed with all sorts of greens so one could not taste the lobster. Keep it simple…
P. U.
Very busy but a terrific atmosphere and great food. Not too keen on live music as it was close to our table and made conversation difficult. Excellent Evington with friends and colleagues. Will definitely visit again.
L. J.
I've been twice to The Easy in the past month. First visits since lock down. Prior to that I had visited many other times and during those previous visits I have always been impressed with service and food.
However, reflecting what many other reviewers are saying, this particular venue has definitely gone down hill. Staff are not as friendly and accommodating and the food is not the standard it was. Disappointing.
Hopefully the management are taking heed of recent reviews and doing something to address their poor performance of late.
C. W.
What an amazing venue. Loved the food. They have great BBQ meat and seafood options. They also have a really good selection of alcohol. The worst thing I could say is they get really busy so service is a bit slow. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The prices are bit expensive but the portions are big. Love the magerita cocktails.
D. C.
Had the money night bbq deal, was excellent value for money. The food is good, nothing more but for £22.50 including 2 drinks you can't go too far wrong!
Service was friendly but pretty shocking. Had to ask so many times the same things all night, was actually quire funny in the end!
F. L.
Good atmosphere, so many choices of wines. Live music.
C. H.
Nice industrial type theme decor on two levels.
A great buzzing atmosphere.
Selection of America style lobster-seafood or rib-steak on menu.
C. M.
The food was tasty enough but do think it's quite overpriced. For example the jumbo fried shrimp you get eight of them on a bed of prawn crackers for £18.50. Service wasn't great, a bit slow to take our order, weren't given aprons (tbf we didn't ask and perhaps they're cutting down on using them to reduce waste which is a good thing) and forgot to bring our condiments when we asked. I'd go back again but on a weekday when it's better value for money
C. W.
This was a good experience.
My party consisted of five people and the restaurant was almost at capacity, both upstairs and downstairs.
The staff were attentive and did a great job despite the restaurant being so busy. I was expecting delays or mistakes in our order but the staff excelled; not one mistake and the food and drinks arrived in a timely manner.
I couldn't decide on what to have so I had it all: "The Taste-O-Rama". It consists of Pit-Smoked BBQ Chicken, Dry-Rubbed, St Louis Pork Ribs & Carolina Pulled Pork. For an extra £2 you can add the Texas Brisket or Texas Hot Links Sausage, I added the brisket as I hadn't eaten all day in anticipation of this meal.
I was not disappointed the meat had a great smoky taste and each meat has unique flavours. I had to give away a piece of my chicken as I'd reached capacity; perhaps the addition of the "Texas Brisket" was a little too greedy of me.
Later on in the evening, country music was piped through the restaurant. It was already difficult to have a conversation due to the ambient noise of the other diners, now it was almost impossible to have a conversation with my dinner guests; fortunately we had already finished eating and decided to find somewhere else for a quiet drink.
If you plan to dine here: Wear your stretchy pants!

My daughters took me here as a birthday treat. When we arrived we were told our table was not ready and to sit at the bar. We booked for 3pm. We asked twice if it was nearly ready and was told not yet. Other people came into the restaurant and were taken straight to tables the same size as our party. By 3.30pm we asked again. By this time I was getting annoyed as the receptionist gave out a bad attitude as if we were bothering her. Eventually we were seated and given menus. We ordered drinks but waited a while for glasses. The waitress went to get them but took ages to come back. Most of the food was really nice. Luv the lobster and mac and cheese but now comes in a smaller portion and not as creamy as the last time I had it. Shame! The steak was very nice. Trouble getting staff for more drinks. The receptionist then appeared and told us we need to leave the table and we could finish our drinks upstairs. We paid the bill, removing the service charge and left. It's such a shame as I used to luv it here but service has gone downhill.

My friend & I visited on Thursday night (after a recommendation from the concierge at The Savoy Hotel) & both had the steak & Lobster ...it was delicious! The chips were so tasty. My only gripe would be it could of been a little hotter. We were served by a lovely young man called Lucas, who was very friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend.
D. W.
Lovely food but the wine wasn't great. A lovely lively place, great band playing.
N. W. F.
The food is delicious, the selection of drinks is incredible. Definitely be back.
J.
Very busy place. Good vibe and staff very efficient. The food is simply delicious and mouthwatering. Fresh lobster meat is one of their highlights. Live music also available sometimes. Quick service. Good portion for the price. Definitely recommended if you love seafood. No regrets.
N. P.
Ribs needed a little more seasoning. Was falling off the bone. Sweet potato fries was very good. Slaw and beans were good. Can't recall name of cocktail it tasted great but not enough drink for the price. Servers very attentive even when it got very busy. Loved the live music 😊 that I could hear in my section.
L. L.
A fantastic pre-show restaurant. The meal was sooo good. Fantastic taste and atmosphere.
E. S.
Food was good, service was kinda disappointing. Received the wrong drinks order only to be told that it couldn’t be corrected because “it was already on the ticket”. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
K. L.
A classic American restaurant with nice live music! The place is a little tight but it's also warm and despite being full the service is fast. We tried the burgers and they were really delicious and tasty as well as the ice cream waffle! I recommend this place!
A. B.
Big, huge whisky collection, good for group not for vegetarians.
E.
I came here for my birthday and had the lobster which was amazing. Staff were friendly. Alcohol choice was really good and I would definitely visit again.
J. W.
I came here with friends from work a month back. I had steak and prawns. I was told it was a bit pricey but the portions were large. Unfortunately the steak wasnt large and I only got 3 prawns. They were decent in size but I was expecting more at the price point.
The food itself was very tasty. My steak was medium just how I like it, but my side order of mushrooms tasted just like the ones I do myself with less seasoning.
My meal came to around £60 which I thought was a bit overpriced. If I'd of had a lager steak and couple more prawns I'd of been a happy man.
A.
The calamari was fresh, batter light and crispy
The tartar sauce was fresh with a tasty lemon zing to it.
The brisket was amazing!
Baked beans too sugary, spicy and not enough barbecue smoky feel to it. Slaw good
Will definitely come back again. Brisket was really tender, very satisfying!
I. T.
Our group went for the bottomless brunch and the food as well as service from staff was absolutely spot on. The food came out with perfect timing and was so so tasty. The staff ensured our drinks were never empty within the time slot booked letting us have the absolute most of our time! An incredible experience and restaurant!
S. D.
BBQ ribs were juicy & starters were tasty, but be warned the portions are huge so don’t fill up on starters, unless you wanna take a doggy bag home!
J. B.
My daughter and I visited the place in Stratford shopping centre today. We had the £10.00 lunch menu which was so amazingly tasty and fantastic value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would seriously recommend it.
M. S.
Cool location + atmosphere. Well designed. Really mixed food. From my family I heard that the lobster was great, the burger was delicious while the lobster mac + cheese was dry and my steak was luke warm at best.
Boozy Brunch pretty good value. Frozen mojitos great!
S. W.
Great food and drinks. The beef brisket is out of this world amazing! It’s hard to resist a starter but a main will probably be enough.
C. L.
Best lobster meal deal in London perhaps, always taking friend who’s visiting London the first time, they all loved here. The house brewed beer was refreshing with a bit sweet taste I think women would love it. Live music was nice, would have been better if the waitress didn’t ask us to leave only after one and half hour, we didn’t even have the chance to order dessert. Nice restaurant overall, keep it up!
V. C.
Came here on a Friday night in a group of six, themed restaurant in the style of New Orleans cruisine and what I imagine to be decor.
Not been here before so a new experience, took full advantage of the happy hours serving alcoholic / mocktails drinks at reasonable prices.
The food was fresh tasty had the fish but some of the table had to return theirs as either burnt or smothered with to much mayonnaise.
Staff were friendly and accommodating, like I said a new experience probably won't be going back did feel gimmicky.
The best part of the night was the music and the Pure Shellfishness bibs given to keep the mess at bay.
C.
Very busy, crowded, lively restaurant with good food and a live band. Lots of fun, but, no obvious person managing the overworked staff struggling to work out the orders, who is having which meal etc. Quite a complicated menu with different offers on different days. We did not get our drinks for over half an hour, the meal took longer. The water asked for did not arrive. People's food came at different times so it got cold. Hard to get anyone's attention to order more drinks as they were so busy. Staff wondering around with food not sure which table ordered it. They must need to attract business to make up their lockdown losses, but seriously need better organisation. That said, it's a good place for parties if you are not in a hurry and the food is very nice!
a. m.
If you are hungry don't go for half lobster option, ho for a bigger one. It was really good! all the seafood was we particularly enjoyed the popcorn shrimp. My friend did not enjoy her chicken burger, which she found lacked seasoning. The manager was very kind and replaced her meal. Great customer service.
F. P.
Hi ,
( INa )was amazing,, staff like this keep your business going ,
😊 really thanks you!! We have a nice time !!
All the best , the food really amazing too. And many thanks to Moly our evening was great.
Thanks
Felipe ...
A. C.
Decent place with good service, the drinks were spot on, prices were good.. BUT the brisket, I've eaten it in plenty of other restaurants and at Big Easy it was the worst and foul tasting version to date. It had a ridiculous mature cheese taste, either the meat was rotten or the chef has used some random cheese flavoring on the rub, god only knows what the chef is thinking
C. B.
We will be going again. Dont bother with the starters! The mains are great! Can highly recommend the (chunks of) lobster mac and cheese. The parmesan and truffle chips are great but should be shared. Try the house beer, it's good. All in all good place, good service and clean WCs. It got busy so may be worth booking.
A. E.
Great afternoon spent with friends for my birthday on the boozy brunch. Service started a little shaky but was very quickly rectified and the staff were nothing but lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our 2 hours of bottomless drinks turned in to about 3.5 hours so that was a result. The BBQ unlimited food was all perfect.
P. L.
The staff were incredibly accommodating.
I had booked a party of 6 but needed to update my booking to 7 and the staff very patiently found a bigger table for us.
Food was amazing as ever and we had a cracking time.
Highly recommended.
P. T.
Great vibe and atmosphere. I like this way more than the one in Chelsea. Very good lobsters at reasonable prices.
D. T.
Very nice place, lovely staff, and the meals are really sweet!
N. C.
Very average food. The vodka lemonade slushie was good, the service was good but the food wasn't. I have been to the Chelsea branch and remember the food being a lot better. We wanted to try a few things so went for the 'Texas Blow Out' It arrived quickly, but wasn't hot, the pulled pork was very fatty and the chicken didn't really taste of anything. For £67 I think there are a lot nicer places in the area to go to.
S. H.
Had a reservation on Saturday (book ahead people) and it was packed ! Had some Mojitos (frozen and regular) and they were so tasty !
For dinner I had the Deluxe Taste-O-Rama and it was delicious ! Also so much food, the meat was tender and tasteful
Some cons - had to wait a bit for our table even though we reserved, getting new drinks/condiments when at the table took a while sometimes. Asked for the check while we ordered new drinks, and the check got there before the drinks. Which is an odd way of doing it
Would I go again? Yeah , because the food was delicious
J. T.
Went for the brunch. Food was pretty decent (ribs tender and flavorful, pulled pork very tasty, chicken was a little dry). Drink options decent (frozen mojito on a bottomless brunch is a novelty). Decor is shabby chic and it looks like it would be a fun live music venue. Considering the price it's a very appealing choice.
Service was poor though and let this down and so bad that I would considering giving it a 3 star review because of it. The main issue with service was the wait to get drinks (which for a bottomless brunch is a killer). You would have to chase up once or twice to get the drink you order 15mins ago. They ran out of pitchers and a lot of glasses and at the end were served in the smallest glasses you could find at the restaurant. Not sure if it was because we came late to brunch window and during the dead zone between lunch and dinner, but there were waitresses sitting eating food or just sitting down talking while we were waiting for drinks etc. A lot of other people who were dining at the same time had this issue (as well as several other reviewers). Ownership take note!
C.
Live music was good. Although can be a bit loud. I guess its a good place for drinks. The waitress who served us was very friendly and nice which earned the extra star. Otherwise food was only average, lobster was not fresh. We ordered Ice cream at the end but the cappuccino flavour we ordered was not good, felt like it melted at some point and then refrozen...
J. S.
Came for a late lunch around 4pm on a Saturday, it was packed and we were lucky the front of house managed to seat us without a reservation. (Thank you to the front of house team for this)
The sides were fantastic, the chips stole the show for me, I wasn’t a fan of the beans because they tasted vaguely like chilli con carne. The bbq itself was very good; however, the ribs were slightly dry. The service was adequate but our waitress made a few mistakes with our order, understandably so as they were very busy, normally this would not have impacted my rating but for the price we paid I feel this was not up to par.
For 2 platters, 3 extra sides and 2 alcoholic slushies we paid just shy of £80 (including a 12.5% service charge). Overall, I thought the food was good aside from my aforementioned points and would recommend anyone come down just to try the chips but with the high price point and issues I can’t justify giving this more than a 4.
C. R.
Great food and lovely drinks.
It was busy (midday on a Tuesday) but the staff were nice and the food came quickly.
K. C.
We went early on a Friday before going to see a show. The food was fab! Real melt in your mouth meat and great sides, we couldn’t eat it all! Highly recommend the platter to start as you get a taste of everything. My only negatives were that the table was only booked for two hours and we wanted to have drinks afterwards but felt we couldn’t because of the time limit, even though there were lots of empty tables. Also we asked for a Miami Vice cocktail but was told they didn’t do it, except we then ordered one Strawberry Daiquiri and one Pina Colada which is basically a Miami Vice and they did have those… I’m guessing maybe they didn’t have the correct glass? Weird. But other than that it was great!!

Delicious food, great value for money, something on the menu for everyone, very courteous staff, i would highly recommend. & guess what, you can actually taste the alcohol in the drinks they give you, unlike some restaurants! The only reason i didnt give it a 5 is because the venue was sweltering (i guess that is really not their fault though)

A great place to go a for a gathering.. Maybe a date or a general feast of fatty but delicious food. This is comfort food at its finest. Simple and appetising.
The ambience is great and it let's you settle in straight away. We held our Christmas do here and wasn't disappointed.
Be aware though. It will take you at least 5 minutes to get to the toilet. It's a long journey especially if you've had one too many.
Would go again as it's far from pretentious and it caters for everyone.
M. C.
No crab in sight but very decent BBQ place.
The service was friendly, the food smoke long and slow and the beer fresh. Quite spacious too.
Z. F.
Great lunch deal where you can get a main, side and drink for £15! I got the lobster and shrimp brioche and had calamari, jumbo shrimps and mac n cheese as sides. Wasn’t too happy with the Mac n cheese as it was super oily but Nadia was super understanding and changed it for another side!
J. L.
Holy, this was the best no frills meal for us in London. Finger licking good and pls order the crab shack lobster platter with white wine sauce. Service was slightly tardy but still ok because the food was really awesome at the end of day. Do try their house pour too.
Note: you get a free after-dinner “maze/escape room” experience if you are going to the gents
A. S.
Amazing food, nice and friendly customer service.
Lovely atmosphere in this shop, many thanks especially to Michele, he really made my day!!
k.
Great atmosphere, most of the time it's really busy so I definitely recommend booking tables in advance.
The food was really good and steak cooked well. Sizes are fairly large and we didnt wait long for our food. Had a good experience overall except after paying and looking at the receipt I notice the price for one of the dishes was different from the menu. I raised this at the front desk and was told that "well that's the price" (on the receipt) I said they should probably update the menu to reflect it then because it's not just 50p. Left it at that but I think it went out one ear and out the other though and not to mention it's misleading.
Will still come back for the food but i'll see if it's any different next time.
E. C.
Very good seafood and BBQ meat (ribs!). Excellent live band. Only 4 stars because of the added 12.5% service, which is only mentioned in very small fonts on the menu
L. E.
Visited solely for the BBQ brunch deal, had been craving BBQ for ages!!
The food did not disappoint; all the meat was smokey, moist and plentiful. All washed down with a pitcher if house beer which was equally as good. My friends opted for the lobster, which gave me a tinge of food envy. It looked great!
The decor of the restaurant is quirky and it was very busy. The staff were friendly and helpful.
M. J.
Food was good. Menu confusing and not explained. Bottomless deal turns out to be not bottomless unless you go for the pork/chicken meal and getting a waiters attention for top ups not easy. Asked a couple of waitresses and they said they couldn't help.
Big shout out to Peter who saw me struggling towards stairs for toilet and kindly took me to disabled loo and guarded the door as the lock was broken.
V. Y.
I really enjoyed visiting this place. Everything we ordered was impeccable!! The food tasted delicious.
Even though the whole dining area was full- we received our starters and our main course in a timely fashion, hot, and tasting amazing. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I was very impressed by this especially when taking into account how busy this place was.
I would definitely recommend visiting. What I would suggest is making a booking as it is packed - so save yourself the disappointment of a long wait.
P.S if you found this review helpful please do give it a like to increase exposure :)
J. E.
Food was good, great value early dinner menu. Staff were friendly but communication was poor - 3 people asked for our order and had to wait ages for someone to ask for the bill despite having plenty of staff standing around!
M.
Been here multiple times, there prices have gone up recently, but still a great vibe and tasty food on the edge of covent garden
A. B. (.
Another restaurant has been tried out and I have to say is in the range of the medium price category.. So I will give it a ££\£££ rating. It's a B.B.Q place we all had burgers and they where good nothing special but a nice size plate that will fill you up, served with chips and koslow @ £15.90 plus drink for a double bacon chess burger... Gr8 selection of wisky and love the way the place looks!! Over all 8/10
S. T.
Very nice location and atmosphere.
Good quality and quantity of food with a right price for center London.
The best choice is to go for a dinner not in a "fully moment" becouse the space between tables can be little bit uncomfortable.
Nice staff!
R. A.
Nice place to dine but too pricey. Your mains are served with beans instead of fries! So you are expected to buy fries separately. The girls loved the sea creature foods( lobster I assume, orange thing with legs) but I had pulled pork which was nice. Other girls had chicken which they liked.
D. R.
Went for lunchtime through the week. £10 menu includes a schooner (2/3s of a pint). Chose the burger and was not disappointed. It’s massive and is really tasty. Service was fast (from order to table within 15mins guarantee). I’ll be going back with colleagues soon enough. It’s a cracking deal for this part of town.
R. H.
Amazing food, super busy so would recommend making a reservation. We sat at the bar, which was good, but a little uncomfortable.
Food was amazing, HUGE portion sizes, great slushy cocktails. 10/10
R. W.
The best food my wife and I ate during our four day honeymoon stay for the Bucs game! Seriously great BBQ & lobster. We were referred by a local during the Bucs game and what an amazing experience!
I wanted ribs but the waitress got me to get ALLLLLL THE MEATS... so I did!! And WOW!!
I will come back to London just to eat at Big Easy again very soon!
Oh and excursion to the Men’s Room is SERIOUS!! I have uploaded the 6/7 doors you walk through to get the bathroom 😂 it was great after a day of drinking. Moral of the story: keep yourself enough time to get through this excursion!!
T. C.
Just had an amazing night with friends here. Reservation highly recommended. We ordered the dish that is to be shared... We were 7, ordered for 6 and it was more than enough. Tamara's service was outstanding, taking our dinner experience to the next level. Will definitely recommend to other people the best meat in town! Besides, we paid total less than 30 pounds each including drinks, which is fairly cheap in comparison to other places nearby.
D. H.
Great stop for a casual, vibey meal.
Every evening there is live music played downstairs -
Sunday from 6pm,
Mon-Thurs from 7pm
Fri&Sat from 8:30pm
Keep in mind this is an American BBQ joint so potion sizes are huge!
C. F.
Some of the best pulled pork I've had anywhere. The ribs were good, though a little underseasoned. The best fell right off the bone. The chicken was most and delicious. The beans and fries/chips we're both very good, especially when doing the fries in the beans. The corn muffin and slaw we're alright, just lacking any flavor. Definitely make reservations, as the place was packed with a 2+ hour wait for walk in customers.
S. T.
The unlimited meat platter is great! Endless ribs, pulled pork, chicken and sausages. Barbecue beans and cornbread also very tasty. However the desserts have always left me disappointed.
A. M. M.
Very tasty food!
The lobster mac n' cheese was delicious, and surprisingly full of lobster meat.
The only disappointment was the brisket sandwich, the meat was very dry (tried in other restaurants and it usually melts in your mouth, but unfortunately not here).
M. T.
The food was delicious. Only one negative, most of what we ordered was too greasy. Great atmosphere, live music in the evening and decent cocktails.
P. G.
It was 1 week before Christmas and my colleague told me about this restaurant, and we decided to go on Christmas Eve. We arrived in the Covent garden station and you could feel the vibe. We arrived at the place and it was full, luckily we booked the table beforehand, if not we would be in a serious trouble ( because I was hungry), we sat there and we had to wait little, as we were waiting for the we were chatting and looking the surroundings and it was amazing. The food was good and we had a great time.
M. T.
I have been here several times and other branches as well, as expected we are plesed with the service and the food. However, the starter platter we had was a mix of chicken, pork ribs etc. Most of the pieces are.delicious but the pork ribs was overcooked. The service was impeccable although weekends are expected to be full house. It is highly advisable to book a table in advance especially for a bigger group. 2-3 days ahead is fine especially in the Covent garden branch.
The food was amazing and the price is reasonable.
Highly recommended.
R. M.
Great diner with good choice of USA style food. Lunch service was slow, but very friendly staff and good choice of vegetarian food - I'd come back - kids enjoyed it! Loos seem miles away if you're upstairs!!
H. E.
Have to say I love this place. Food is plentiful and flavoursome, the slow smoked meat is terrific and tender. Drinks and sides tasty too. Voodoo sauce a real winner.
S. L. L.
£20 for the lobster meal deal including a 1 pound lobster + chips + one free drink! The cocktail was so mice that we ordered another one! Lobsters are delicious! Very recommended! Love the atmosphere here as well~
L. P.
We visited on a busy Saturday evening. However managed to get a table for 2 straight away. We ordered some starters first which came out very quickly, I would definately recommend the Cheesy potato skins, portion size is perfect for two with two skins each. The chicken tenders were also very tasty, definately have these with the Big Easy BBQ sauce! Considering how busy the venue was the Main course followed the starter within 15 minutes. The double bacon and cheese burger was fantastic, full of flavour, crispy bacon and melted cheese (with this combination, you couldn't really go wrong!) The only fault I can find with this - I asked for the burger to be well done however it still came out a little pink for my liking. Other than this I would recommend and will be ordering again on my next visit! My partner ordered the Ribs, I have never seen anything like it; The ribs had loads of meat on them and tasted incredible, by far the best ribs we've had. Overall, the service here was very good, every waiter was polite and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. We were given hot cloths for after our meal as well as glasses of water with our food without even asking!
I would definately visit again!
R. D.
Great atmosphere and great food. Bit on the pricey side but well worth it. Celebrated an anniversary here and the hostess was not only warm and welcoming, she was really chatty. The waiters are friendly and provide a fantastic service. You can't go wrong with this place.
M. M.
second time i went to the big easy and was just as good as i remember, our waitress was helpful and quick even when her section was full, didnt catch her name but we were there wednesday 13th at 5pm in the far right corner. food and drinks were amazing and for being in covent garden really well priced. Already planning when we can come back.
C. C.
Amazing selection of drinks and the lobster was great. Brisket wasn't the best and was hard to explain our drinks but would definitely go bk when I'm in the area.
A. J.
Lovely atmosphere, the staff are very helpful & polite. Food was very nice. I had a whole lobster with chips & a jug of Mojito. My daughters meal was free which is even better.
J. S.
On a work do, and good food (well priced for London Covent Garden), with friendly staff. Found it too busy, short on Gin (!?!), long wait for drinks/food and asked to leave for another booking .
J. C.
Great bottomless brunch here, which is available Saturday’s and Sunday. Food was very good and staff were very friendly. Drinks were free flowing which was perfect. Would highly recommend!
A. G.
I prefer the branch in canary wharf, this one is small and the tables are squashed together making it uncomfortable. I also found the brisk over cooked and nasty.
J. M.
Great food really felt like a America food house, the staff member at front of house had a rude customer before us no way to be treated but just smiled and helped them. Definitely will be going back here really impressed
D. B.
Really good food! Music was good also
R. H.
First visit, for my wife’s birthday. Very nice location and venue.
The food was great - cheesy crab dip, calamari, lobster and desserts. The frozen lemonade was lovely and refreshing. Waiting staff were very attentive. Would recommend.
I. G.
Great food, real BBQ meet is tasty and good.
Second visit, rump stake was excellent.
Lobster was delicious .
All together its great value for money 💰
A.
I absolutely love this place.
It provides great food, great atmosphere to eat and drink and the most important thing, very very good service. My suggestion is to eat lobster, trust me you will not regret it next time. I truly reccommend it to everyone who wants have fun and enjoy his/her walk..
S.
Visited today for lunch and it was very satisfying. Well worth the £10 and for the express service. The Lobster and Shrimp mac and cheese is one of my favourites. Great service and great location away from the hustle and bustle of busy Covent Garden.
t.
Nice place, a bit hidden and the music was a bit loud for me. The lobster was amazing, got the BBQ ribs as starter and they were falling off the bone... So good. Got a dessert as well and at the end of the dinner I was literally rolling out of the place. But my stomach is quite small, so if you have more space go ahead and get the 1 lobster and a half.
S. B.
Went for the £10 lunch deal and it was great. A decent sized portion and good service, the food was excellent. Well worth a visit.
J. F.
Nice food with very good price😋 Lunch time 12-4pm, express meal only £10, £3for one more course. We had lobster mac n cheese and one small lobster from a la carte. Yum

Heard great things prior to coming, but sadly left a little underwhelmed. Admittedly, restaurant is well decorated, atmosphere a little hit n miss and the servers are friendly and attentive. Arrived and stopped at bar for drinks which were very reasonably priced. After being seated and ordering was pleased that our group ordered an assortment to gather fair comparison. Having ordered brisket at £17.90, I was expecting a larger portion and certainly better presentation as my main had a wartime ration feeling. I'm certainly glad I went for sides. Cornbread was good, chips good, sausage delicious, pit beans were grossly overly vinergry. Having compared my meal to those in my party, the taste o rama certainly seemed better value (including portions of sausage and brisket) for assorted BBQ than my order.
Likewise, the lobster deals seemed to go down well with others. Opinions of lobster were good, but overall that better could been sampled elsewhere. As I'd mentioned before our waitress was excellent, however we weren't amused by gaffe made by the kitchen porter, who hadn't a clue of meals he was carting to each table. Subsequently he had to summon our waitress to issue correct meals.
Last gripe was that didn't feel that the menu offered much flexibility to give everything a real try.
I'd certainly like to think that I'll give Big Easy another try but I'm not sure if I'll be rushing back. Sorry.
L. N.
Very busy and loud. Food was good, but nothing special. Ordered the lobster with mac and cheese as a side dish. Fries and lobster were good. I liked the mac and cheese. The salad, however, was boring. Prices are okay, but on the expensive side.
Arnold Schwarzenegger would probably not come back.
P. O.
Very nice place with a great BBQ menu. It loses a star this round as the ribs and chicken were a little try for my liking. The skins and pulled pork were delicious.
L. T.
Great food, great ambience. Really enjoyed the Thursday special (steak + lobster for about 29 pounds including service charge). Service was great as well - polite and not too obtrusive
Y. Z.
I have been here at least 3 times, and it's a favourite when I have visitors from out of London. I would first say the pros, followed by the cons.
Pros:
Centralised location
Hearty food and drinks
Service is alright, depending on your server.
Cons:
Quality of food may vary (on my 3rd visit, the lobster wasn't fresh)
Can be really noisy and hard to converse if you're seated near the band (well, if you're there for the band, that's a different story)
Tipping. This is the annoying bit. When you pay, they'll ask if you want to tip, and I noticed the 12.5% already in the bill. I once asked the server about this, and she insisted that 12.5% isn't the tip.. it's confusing as I don't recall other places in London doing this.
All in all, a decent chain
A. S.
Big Easy is truly one of my new favorite places in London. Giant portions at a great price and AMAZING food to accompany. With live music every evening, a huge menu with many options and amazing meal deals - Big Easy will not disappoint! I highly recommend the cheesy crab dip appetizer and lobster Mac & cheese or Lobster roll entree!
M. D.
I had an absolutely amazing experience at Big Easy, two of my friends had the unlimited shrimp (only on a Tuesday), and myself and my other friend each had a steak. This has to have been one of the most complete meals I have had in my life. The waitress/bartender who served us, who I believe was called Julianne, went above and beyond during our meal. Recommending different drinks and different things on the menu for each of us.
When it comes to my meal, the entire meal was fantastic, with each part tasting better with each bite. The surprise of the meal was the green beans, recommended by our waitress, they have to be the best vegetables I've ever eaten.
All in all I will definitely be coming back for a return visit, and will be recommending this place to friends and family who are looking for a good meal out on or around Covent Garden.
N. M.
Great food. The maple bacon croissant was AMAZING! Fun place to eat, friendly service and a great value lunch menu gets you a drink and a main course! All food looked delicious and tasted the same!
D. Y.
This place is so good and the service is so good there is many options on the menu . As I went in a was greeted with the most friendliest hellos the food that I ordered was 1.5 pound lobster with Mac and cheese as a side and I got recommendations as I was new to the place.
W. M.
We went on a Friday and the host was really rude and snobby, the staff tried their best but unfortunately we had to chase them for everything from cutlery, sauces, drinks.
The food was OK, better go to canary wharf or Mayfair.
A. V.
That were the best ribs in my life! Looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!
D. A.
I love this place, the atmosphere, the service, the decor and most importantly, the food.
It's a little more expensive than I'd normally pay for a meal out, but for special occasions I'm more than happy here.
T. C.
Lobsters beautiful and the iced mojito is worth the brainfreeze .London prices but worth it for a special night out
R. B.
The big pig gig is a solid collection of fine bbq meats with what i find a highlight in the ribs and chicken but the really cherry on the cake for me is the cornbread. Service is always friendly but be advised due to the popularity it does get busy! Good music good food good drinks its all good at the big easy.
L. B.
They are quite famous for their lobsters. We had picked set menu where you get lots of drinks and 1 pound lobster. Treat to your taste buds indeed. Most lobsters are served with olive oils, and chips. Could get busy sometimes so booking the table in advance is recommended.
P. M.
Great atmosphere and great menu for seafood and bbq. Quick and friendly service even when busy. Fair prices.
K. T.
Keep an eye on the deals as you really do get your money worth with this place. I really like their daily lobster deals as they come with a drink and generous amounts of lobster.
It's taken me a few visits to warm up to this place but my visit last night was definitely bar far the best experience I've had. The times I've been before we've unfortunately been stuck in the corner on a tiny table which I can barely get into and then forgotten about which I really dislike as they have a 12.5% service charge.
Last night we were in the middle of the restaurant with plenty of room and despite it being very busy (as usual) the service was much better. I ordered the lobster and shrimp roll which was a first for me but I was not disappointed by the amount of lobster I got.
Minus 1 star because although some may like the the live music I always find it loud and I hate having to shout at the person I'm having dinner with! Also, this is the 2nd time I've tried a dessert and the 2nd time where I've had to get up and ask a waiter for a spoon for my dessert.
If you are a fan of big platters of meat, seafood and carbs then this is the place for you!
L.
2 of us came here on a Friday evening. We hadn’t booked so we put our name down, went for a walk and they texted about 30mins later to say our table was ready (originally told 1hr wait).
We ordered:
Original Lobster Roll w/ Chips & Salad £22 - I chose orange juice which was included in the price. Roll was packed with lobster, needed a lot of lemon but that’s just my preference. Salad dressing was lovely and chunky chips were perfect - crispy but fluffy inside. Orange juice was lovely and seemed to be freshly squeezed but it could have been mixed with some normal carton juice, not sure.
Fillet Steak w/ Salad £22.90, Cornbread Muffin £2.90. Steak was juicy, cooked perfectly for medium rare, very tasty. Cornbread was perfect.
The staff were all really friendly and nice and the decor & atmosphere was really comfortable.
Would definitely come again and for the Happy Hour drinks.
R.
One of the best pork ribs in London! And oh yes, I love their white wine garlic mussels ☺️
B.
If you love seafood you’ll love this place! Nice big portions of crab legs and prawns. Very similar to TGI but with more seafood options. Big bar with of cocktail options. The space does feel a little claustrophobic when the restaurant is full but that’s expected with a central London location. Sometimes the wait times can be absolutely insane! Try to call in or book in advance to avoid long waiting time.
S. J.
Great food. It was easy to forget I was in London and not California. Lobster along with other seafood, steaks, chicken wing etc. Good value.
S. B.
Amazing food! some of the best steak I have ever eaten. Would recommend to anyone looking for top quality smokehouse food.
C. G.
Food, service and atmosphere is always second to none in here! Usually go in for the Daily deals with my work mates and we have a great time and get stuffed! Massive selection of drinks and a good Happy Hour, delicious food, live music and awesome staff members! Can't recommend enough!
L. P.
Booked outdoor seating as the only thing available - on arrival we were asked if we actually wanted to sit indoors, wonderful!! Staff all friendly, helpful and attentive. I worried with the boozy brunch there would be waiting time between drinks but they were quick to bring out more. Food delicious, a lot for your money and a nice touch that we could take any left overs with us. Our first weekend back to the city and we have not been disappointed. Highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back.
A. J.
Food was amazing, staff was very friendly. Big menu to pick from. Their daily specials are also very good and well priced.
A. P.
Would have been 5/5 but they don't take Amex. A place in central London in 2022 that doesn't take Amex...go figure
M. M.
Portions big, prices high, level of satasfaction high. Vegatarians please stay away, your hay and grass has been eaten the cows and pigs that ended up on my table. Ribs were amazong, chicken almost like in nandos, cant ask for more. Also they have nice selections of american beers and ales. Definitely worth a visit. Oh on a negative side, walking to the gents loo takes forever
A. T.
Not for vegetarians! This is a meat lovers palace. The food is excellent and most dishes give good to excellent size portions (The Jumbo Shrimp starters was three pieces so one of us had to go without) but otherwise a good night out.
T. Y.
We enjoyed the mussels in a hot spicy sauce as starter and my partner had the BBQ special that he liked but my Big brisket sandwich was awful... The cocktails was nice and the ice cream just ok. Always the portions are big and good service!
D. T.
Great authentic BBQ food. Loved the brisket sandwich 🥪 Good choice of dishes and drinks.
N. S.
Order from the Big Boozy Brunch and endless meat selections plus the choice drinks including 3 pint frozen mojito. All for £29.50. Great value and friendly service
A. N.
The steak is descent and the portions respect customer’s wallets. This is the 1lb beef steak for 25£ while Big Easy is my favourite place for Surf and Turf (with lobster) in town.
If you like live rock blues as well that’s your place :)
J. C.
Went on a Sunday at mid-afternoon. A favourite of mine - probably the best American BBQ I’ve found so far in London. Only issue is the noise - it’s so loud you need to shout to have a conversation with those you are dining with which isn’t always ideal. Music is so loud that people talk loudly to be hear and that perpetuates the problem.
Aside from the noise, the food is well cooked - but why no burnt ends?! (brisket could be better) and the sides are fab.
D. M.
Pulled pork was super nice, except limitless boozy brunch wasnt actually limitless. Other than that, staff were nice and friendly. Almost took forever for the booze to arrive though
S. S.
Best to take advantage of the Mon-Thu offers otheris it gets expensive, that said this is one of the best BBQ places in London. Cocktail are on point as well. Covent Garden branch is now as good as the Kings Road one in my opinion.
a. m.
Been to the big easy in Canary wharf which I loved, however the one in Covent garden had a more relaxed vibe with live music it fit perfectly, very good service, the lobster and ribs are simply amazing! And of course the cocktails you just can't beat would highly recommend
J. N.
Best BBQ I've had in a while. Very good lunch meal deal. Had the brisket sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. Excellent bbq flavor, delicious mac-n-cheese and great fries!
A. C.
I looove lobster and came here for my birthday . The food was nice but staff weren't very helpful , they forgot drinks and parts of our order , even though the restaurant was pretty much empty still tool about 15-20 mins to get the bill !
H. H.
Hard to find but after that everything goes so smoothly. Big enough hall to eat. Food is great if you like that kinda food. Lobster, meet, wings.. one wish. I would like to drink some good artisan beer with those so could you find some😊
P. A.
Swapped the side chips that came with the burger with salad the "portion" was tiny. Besides that food tasted great buy would suggest making there salads slightly bigger
R. C.
The £10 (before service charge) express lunch (from 12-6) is pretty decent value - a main and fries and a drink.
Lobster roll (maine style) was good but not exactly memorable?
W. E.
Service was shocking - so slow to come and take orders and kept walking by when we wanted service. Food was OK and came out pretty quick
H. L.
Sunday brunch for 5. Great table service and food. Rinsed the 2 hour slot for unlimited drinks. Frozen Pina coladas all the way! Great value for money for the quality
D. B.
My experience at The Big Easy was just "OK". I ordered the 1.5lb lobster and I didn't really feel that this lobster mean rivaled anything at Joe's Crab Shack or Red Lobster for that matter. I did appreciate the fact that I did over eat anything and the portions were not to big. However I didn't feel like the lobster was up to the high standards I had in mind. There were various things at he table and I think the most impressive item would have to be the BBQ platter. If I had to do it over again I think I would order that platter instead. So this menu has a couple of good items but it doesn't win the race for having a great menu for everyone.
V. S.
Very nice service, we came with family and had bottomless shrimps, it was really great atmosphere, customer service and world class service from manager Lucas👏🙌👍 definitely recommend
J. C.
Let me start with the food, it's super tasty. Depending on what you order it isn't supposed to look pretty and for the price it looks like a small portion but the flavours make up for that. I didn't order any sides just a couple of beers and it came to £30+ per person which I would say was a bit pricey. But worth a visit nonetheless.
N. J.
It's alright. Great beer and whiskey. Food is so so - flavor can be great, but slow cooked meat can be tough. Live music adds some extra authenticity, but the acoustics and number of people in there means it can be loud. Still, there aren't many good places for ribs/BBQ so I'll probably go back!!
B. K.
A great American gastronomical enclave in London! I had the unlimited BBQ wings which were great. I even got a sampler of their pulled pork and ribs, which were equally awesome. Friendly and helpful staff.
M. R.
Industrial vibe. Ribs portion was huge & tasty! Unrefined but fun and groovy. Friendly service.
K. W.
Brisket was delicious. Just not enough of it. I can't give more than 3 stars to anyone that serves instant mashed potatoes. Just can't do it. You want an overall quality rating, serve quality food. Instant mash is not quality.
A. S.
Service is a bit sporadic but nice atmosphere and good lunch time offer. Overall food quality was good, however, Ironically, the best was their chips!😂
C. B.
Went for the bottomless BBQ and prosecco, lots of food and offered plenty.. drink service was sloowww, took us 15 minutes to get any more drinks for the table.. bit frustrating.
J. D.
What a delightful experience. I got the lobster and it was perfect. Our servers were quite attentive.
It's definitely for a younger (college-aged) crowd, but I had a nice meal nonetheless.
M. S.
Very good food! Waited a bit too long for our drinks, had to ask a couple of times
j. W.
Been always trying to go to try here for awhile and finally got a chance to do so. The food was alright really for the price in central London is just reasonable however 1 star down is the service charge is compulsory and is quite a lot like 10%
And males if you want to go to the loo be prepare to open 6 doors before you could reach the washroom
F. N.
The meat and seafood were amazing! The staff was very helpful too with the food choice
J. A. R.
Easily one the best brunches In London, you cant beat the bottomless beer + BBQ combinations!
T. F.
They have a decent lunch deal, reasonably priced and the portions are huge. Prepare to be comatose after....go easy on the afternoon meetings.
p. l.
Love coming here, staff were lovely but drinks were really slow this time, maybe something wrong with the system.. food was amazing, but downstairs is really hot with no air con.
D. B.
Think I needed to lay down after this ...plenty to eat and drink 🤩👍

The food here is next level. Massive portions and the drinks are just as nice as the food.

Pretty good bbq for London, not quite up to Texas standards bit close enough, enjoyed it!

Came back for a boozy brunch having been before pre coivd. Sadly the overall experience wasn't as good. The food came out quickly but was served warm (not piping hot) and sadly the famous corn breads were under cooked and stodgy. While they got replaced when asked, the second batch were not much better. Service was slow, so didn't get to take full advantage of the bottomless drinks. Still, £30 for a belly full of food and drinks not a bad deal, but this place has gone backwards.

Good food - great BBQ, and fantastic sides. Occasionally slow/inattentive service, but was an incredibly busy morning so quite understandable. Fantastic all you can eat meat brunch deal - which I can definitely recommend.

The food was worth the wait and price! The vibe was buzzing and relaxed, I enjoyed everything. The only negatives, were the hour wait for a table and the cocktails I had at the bar. They were watery and both didn't taste like they had much alcohol, let alone favour...disappointing for the amount they cost. The Pinacolada slushy made up for that in the end though.

Have been here on Sunday. Didn't wait for long which is nice. Even though not much people in the cafe, we have waited to order for nearly half an hour. Truly, this place is for 1 attending. I won't attend here 2nd time. Menu includes range of dishes such as lobsters, bbq chicken, pork, seafood and etc. Place is nice to have a drink with a group of people and treat food as an addition to drinks. I ordered steak with shrimps, steak was delicious, but shrimps make you dirty. Overall, nice, loud and for 1 time only.

Great place brunch awesome and service second to none but can be a bit noisy.
M. L.
This place was a very fun vibe! We had the all you can get bbq buffet with bubbly. The ribs and chicken were the best. Service was awesome which was surprising because I’ve had bad luck so far in London! :) it also seemed to be everyone’s birthday and if it is, you get ice cream!
C. M.
The place smells amazing, the food tastes fantastic and the decor is brilliant. We had the lunch deal. I can't wait to come back and order other things....
***UPDATE***
So me and some friends went here again and we had some issues. First the coke was flat. We had to order the same drinks 3 times. One of us had some kind of creepy crawly bug on the salad. Oh and finally my friend ordered an Alcohol Free Beer and was served an alcoholic drink.
C.
I liked it. Me and my friend went there for 3pm we had the lunch time special which was more than filling. Here is a tip the lunch special is £10 bit it's worth having the £15 deal where you basically get 2 more courses on top. So in our £15 deal I had for my starter chicken voodoo wings and my friend and the bbq wings. Chicken voodoo is not hot in terms of spice but still nice. You get a good portion too. Then for main I had the lobster mac and cheese which came with a small small small salad. Mac and cheese was tasty. My friend had the lobster sandwich with came with coleshaw and thick chips(they only sell thick ching fries , no skinny or normal size chips) coleslaw was a bit gone of sour taste and smell. But my friend enjoy the chips and sandwich. Me and my friend had half of each other food. Then the dessert came you have a choice of either ice cream of banana pie. The banana pie was delicious. Good size aswell. Oh included in the deal is a free drink so we both had a beer. It will state what drink is allowed in the deal. Now happy hour started from 4pm till 7pm. So we hit the bar and stay till 7:30pm. A big shout out to the guys espescailly the Chinese bar staff who kept us entertain ( sorry I forgot his name clearly the drinks made me well tipsy. A glass of Proccesso is £3 when happy hour is on. And some cocktail are half price. I liked the slush cocktails. All in all a good time out. I shall be coming back again.

I visited Big Easy Bar with my colleagues. It was packed and we sat at the bar seats. Food served very quickly. It was warm and tasty. Definitely recommended.

Honest review: food was great, and for someone who has never really liked seafood the lobster tasted pretty good, but being a bigger fan of meat their bbq ribs and other meats tasted even better, but that might be since I enjoy that more. My other friends and family who enjoy seafood more than me said that the lobster was some of the best that they tasted.
However… the organisation of the staff was not so good. We ordered a couple of drinks and they brought us alternatives due to lack of stock without asking us, when we said we didn’t want those alternatives they didn’t even bother taking the ordered drinks from the final bill despite us not even drinking those beverages, something we had to point out at the end which took a while to explain. The other “cold” drinks we ordered were brought lukewarm and we asked if the second round that we got could be colder, of which we received was definitely better. Once we made our food order we received a side of chips literally seconds after the waiter took our order which we rejected since we wanted the chips with our food, again it took a while to explain to the waiter that we literally ordered a massive order of meats and lobsters to eat alongside and wanted our chips with the main meal, warm, not cold by the time the food would arrive.
Lastly once the bill came, since we did not like the service we obliged not to pay the service charge of £15 since we did not think the service was great, the waiter that we told to remove that from our bill felt obliged to bring the manager over to question why we did not want to pay the service charge. I mean seriously? If I don’t want to pay the service charge then I don’t think I should be questioned on that decision. Overall whilst the food was great I just wish the staff was better and overall more qualified. Oh and I forgot to mention the rant that the manager gave to us before we left about the place closing down soon since even he thought that the staff was not as good before covid thus they lacked the ability for a quality customer experience.
Hope the review helps.

Interesting and unique place with pretty good food and great live music in.
small issue with the service about missing things but well satisfied overall 👌
C. B.
Amazing food. Best bbq I've ever eaten. And a great atmosphere with the live music.
J. A.
For UK BBQ it's good but not as good as Texas BBQ by any stretch. Meat was moist but in the greasy side.
B. M.
Quite good if you're massively into meat. Was a bit too much grease for me but rest of the table loved it
M. I.
Very very good food. If you want to be sure that you will have a table you should call first and make a reservation. We tried our luck as we were in the area but it was full booked.
E. T.
Great cocktails, over rated dinner, nice atmosphere and professional staff
C. B.
Food was okay, not very hot though. Squid was very chewy! They had quite a few things not available on the menus. Ladies toilet was not very clean. Good atmosphere though and lovely staff
M. W.
Good lobster 🦞 but the steak was poor 😫
If you go definitely order the slushie majito.
Atmosphere good and live music.
If the steak had been cooked correctly and not full of sinew I might have given a 5 star .
J. H.
Was busy and under staffed which impacted the service. Food was okay. Covent Garden was great.
A. L.
Go on a Wednesday. 20quid per person... unlimited wings that are actually good and a 2pint Stein of beer. Also... get the Apple cinnamon waffle if you have room
M. S.
The best restaurant chain in London for me! Delicious food, great service, fast, friendly, affordable, nice decor, nice staff! Thanks guys, I enjoy every time!
K. M.
We ordered lobster bake which includes 500g Lobster, Shrimps, Mussels, Crab Claws and Garlic White Wine Cream. Seafood was lovely 😋 and atmosphere was great with live music 🎶🎤 Service was alright, just that waiters/waitresses were too busy that it was difficult to get hold of the waiters 😂
J. D.
Good atmosphere and interior design. The food is finger licking good! Always very busy so better make your reservation and arrive early.
A. S.
Great food, friendly service. Incredible value for money, also for lunch. That's our second time there, first was for dinner.
A. C.
Great evening. Had to wait a little while for service but once the food was served all was forgotten. Will be visiting again soon.
K. H.
First time at covent garden branch and it was the best one I have been to! Service was good and food was plentiful! All you can eat bbq- eyes definitely bigger than my stomach! Worth going if you enjoy meat!
T. H.
Good food poor service. Not enough staff when busy.
C. S.
If you're looking for an enjoyable place with reasonable prices and amazing food , this is the place for you! The staff members are so friendly and the ambiance is great . But you have to make sure you book it in advance ; the place is packed at all times .
A. L.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Great service. Highly recommended for a special night out.
O. T.
Really nice food and a good experience. The waiter was friendly and helpful too. Would go there again.
D. C.
Deals of the day are the best, would definitely recommend coming here just for the daily specials. The “homemade brew” is great, although the steins are a lot to stomach along with such great food.
Best days to come are Mondays and Thursdays.
S. R.
Excellent price on the lunch time menu considering the location. The food was awesome and the staff are very very friendly! Would definitely recommend!!
C. V.
Amazing lobster. Very manic but staff were rally attentive and dealt with it all brilliantly. Great fun and great food.
R. S.
Beer, bar b que, lobster in an industrial setting. Live music downatairs. Recommend with friends.
K. E.
Lively atmosphere with a live funky band later in the evening. Friendly staff, tasty food, massive alcohol selection. Overall great experience... I'm a regular visitor!
M. J.
Wholesome American cuisine in the heart of London. Really good prices for more than decent portions. Their lobsters are fresh and burgers, delicious!
R. P.
Went for the boozy brunch on Saturday. All you can eat Bbq or a lobster tail with drinks included. All for £30. Give it a go
J. Y. H.
Dined here around 9:30pm. Orderd samplet and baked lobster, which were all tasty. Good place to bring tour family or for quick beer or two. Came highly recommended by the local tour guide.
F.
You know what you are going to get and it's always great quality... Either book in advance or you're likely to wait particularly at weekend. It's a bit dark so very good for dinner before a night out but it also works well if you want have drinks there as they have a good selection
T. M.
Great food, great atmosphere and good value for covent garden. Its great for groups or couples but don't expect a quiet a night. The brunch sharing platter is awesome!!
d. s.
Had the 15mins lunch, Shrimp and lobster mac n cheese with banoffee pie for dessert, very tasty.
G. T.

I went on a Tuesday and had limitless shrimp. It comes with a side of fries and a drink great value for money plus live band every night! Very entertaining night with the family.
A. T.
We had an amazing waiter who made the experience fantastic, great food and good drinks.
This one is much, much better than the Canary wharf one
L. B.
A lot of food but the quality wasn't that great. Overcooked crab and food generally tasted a bit bland.
J.
Had a lovely lunch before popping to the theatre all round good experience
I. T.
Happy hour deals here are amazing, the frozen cocktails were great. The shrimp and lobster roll was good as well.
S. F.
Good restsurant... but this evening the lobsters did not taste too fresh at all...
J. R.
Tasty food, good Service, small but Succulent lobster, great Selection of beers.
Tequila fireshots are lethal.
S. C.
Good bbq, and really good for lunch, great size portions and good value for money.
Staff were lovely too.
A. H.
Great atmosphere, great food, friendly staff. What more do you need
C. W.
Tables to close together even if covid wasn't around. Food decent, with good portions, but servers seem to be over worked so not as attentive as could be.
F. D.
Amazing Food. Excellent service need to book table mostly full. Definitely going back. Overall Outstanding.
Z. F.
last night was our first time we went to this place. But It is obviously not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the attentive service, with the excellent dishes and fine drinks and with the modest pay. We will definitely visit there again.
M. S.
The brisket was flavorful and ever so tender. The ribs, pulled pork and bbq chicken were sadly a let down. However, I would recommend the fried chicken as a starter.
N. S.
Love this place. Only go if you are hungry and eat meat!! Lots & lots if it!! Cool atmosphere with live music. Great.
Y. L.
If you wish to taste fresh lobster, Big easy is definitely your choice. It has got fresh and sweet lobster which makes you visit again and again. The interior design of the shop is magnificent.
N. D.
Really good value lunch menu, food tasty, good service. Recommended
K. M.
Delicious food, nice cocktail, good service and the best good price
A. W.
Only went for the whisky but it had a great selection! The food looked amazing and I would be more than happy to go here again in the future.
L.
If I could sell my house and move into this restaurant full time, I would.
It's soooo good!
N. G.
Superb food, unfortunately you can't split between ala carte and bar menu when ordering and restrooms are quite a distance from top floor
K. T.
Great atmosphere great food and awesome cocktails. Loved it.
S.
I love the food here, the mussels and ribs especially are wonderful and I always go here with friends when I go out for dinner in London. My biggest complaint is they have very little consistency when it comes to quality of service.
The management has sometimes been exceptional, and sometimes they can be incredibly rude and obnoxious. I am a quiet diner, if I dislike food I will refuse a tip, and let them Know they may want to improve on bits, but when I get told that my order was correct and they bring me a burger when I ordered mussels and then argue the point and embarrass me in front of everyone. It can leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Again, the food is great 90% of the time, it's just a shame that the service is 50/50.
j. f.
A bit pricy, but have nice daily offers and the meat they serve is worth the prices. Good service. Highly recommended!!!!
S. L.
I have now traded burger and lobster to big easy. This is now one of my favourite restuarants. 🤩😍
K. B.
Fantastic food and service can't wait to go back 😀
E. N.
Very busy but worth the wait. Good food and friendly and professional staff
G. O.
Nice joint to eat as a group. Portion size was good and the customer service was good too. Will visit again
T. T.
Brilliant food, brilliant staff, big jugs of beer, good prices, what more do you need.
M. M.
Great food, and great service. As a party of three, each of us enjoyed our respective meals and were very complimentary of the restaurant.
The menu has a great variety of food and drinks options. The restaurant itself is always mobbed, which I take to be a good sign when looking for a place to eat.
I will definitely be back, and would highly recommend for anyone looking for good quality surf and turf. Definitely book in advance though.

We’ve been here as a local photography company and we must say - this is an amazing place! Great location and extremely large portions of good food! Totally recommend Big Easy Bar.B.Q & Crabshack
L. S.
I absolutely love the food at this place! And over the last few years I have visited I've always had the same male server who has always taken care of my guests and myself with such high standards. I don't know his name but on one occasion he did the whole basement section himself and was so good at it. A few other times I had him upstairs! He was always charismatic and knowledgeable about the menu. His kindness let's me know this place I can always bring people I care about as they will be well taken care of.
A. K.
The one in Canary Wharf was so much better. The food wasn't as good here.
N. S.
Amazing food, great atmosphere. Good times.
C. R.
Great food great prices great service. The chicken was delicious the pork ribs were delicious. Everything was super tender. But by far the best coleslaw I have ever had. They even sang me happy birthday. Highly recommend but you will have to make a reservation.
L.
I had fried shrimp unlimited! If you can eat a lot worth to visit!
A.
Went with a group for the Shrimp Tuesday was given the choice of deep fried shrimps as they had no shrimp boil left.
While the concept is unlimited, the service was slow so you could wait 40 mins to get a refill of shrimps. When we asked about the delay, they said they had no baskets left but they could have just reused ours or just allowed us to take from a pan as we had a large group with us.
Not something you would want to eat an unlimited amount of as they soon have you craving for something different.
Overall decent experience but slow, unattentive service let it down.
d.
decent amount of food and massive beer jugs that are pretty fun. Chicken was slightly tough in parts
E. D.
Food ok. I remember one in king Road being better but I may of just been a foolish young man with no taste
K. D.
Booking is essential. Cheapest lobster you could find in London but with the quality.
T. H.
The food is good but the service is poor.
J. S.
Great meal great food great atmosphere and a great great reception when we arrived fantastic
T. H.
Lovely place, very good service. Price was good too.
S. T.
Food was OK, only 1 draft beerworking out of 5 and service a little slow, had to ask for table to be cleared.
A. H.
The service and toilets really let the delicious food down.
C. M.
Friendly staff. Went for brunch and wasn't disappointed. Bbq quality was good but plentiful. A+ for the corn bread though.
M. M.
Nice but could be a lot better. Peak time last Friday the top bar was mega busy, meanwhile the lady at the bar downstairs was doing nothing and refusing to take drink orders. Not sure why...also 3 staff doing nothing at the welcome desk. Bizarre management arrangement, should be addressed so that customers can be served in a more timely manner and everyone is working equally hard
