Reviews of Big Easy Canary Wharf
K.
Amazing food, enjoyed all meals especially the whole lobster. Would have given 5* but the food was warm/cold. Had it been hot it would have been a 10/10 experience for us. Drinks/cocktails were nice, needed a little sweetening/syrup which staff were happy to add. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely atmosphere with live music and great views. Will definitely visit again .
K.
The bar is great and has a wide selection of draft, canned and bottled beers, plus cocktails and spirits. They have a good house band that plays blues music so the atmosphere is spot on. The food which is BBQ pit cooked style was disappointing. I had a Ribs, Chicken and shrimp combo and the ribs were tough and dry, the shrimp was overcooked and dry, the chicken was good but it's the pit cooked BBQ meat that you go for, so sadly I'd recommend this more for drinks.
C. J.
Just wow! Amazing food - and huge amounts of it. Not cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for. And the cocktails were lush too!

It was ok; not great. The food and drink were acceptable. Our server though could have been more upbeat. It was Sunday lunch; and I felt as if he didn't really want to be there. Our orders were taken competently enough; and in fact, despite five different people, there were no mistakes with our food and drink orders. Everybody got exactly what they ordered. But still...
Waiting on others is hard; I almost felt like I was making it harder. There was no enthusiasm nor a semblance of a warm welcome. We were but a chore to him. And I didn't like that feeling.

I Always take all my friends to big easy whoever is visiting me I want them to try steak and lobster there! Great live music and atmosphere. Our service was friendly and helpful with choices! Food delicious for good price ! I’ll be back again ! 🍤🥩🦞

Went on Monday night, food was only okay, compared to when I went 2 wèeks earlier, on a Friday, and food was delicious, which is why went back again this time. Service this time wasn't as good as last time. The waiter this time was quite patronising and made a big deal as we forgot to order fries. It was a Monday night and empty, so waiter did not have a lot to do but stand around chatting to other staff. When we went the time before it was packed and waiter was run off his feet but his service was excellent. Will not be going back for a while.
P. S.
The food here is exactly as described, American BBQ. The flavours are on point and the meats are amazing with very healthy (large) portion sizes.
The service was not bad, they were able to seat us early which was nice but after that it was a little slow.
There is a parking lot you can use in the shopping centre part of Canary wharf where Waitrose is, it's a short walk from there with step free access to all areas.
It's a nice areas to go for a walk arround after, which you will definitely need.
J. C.
Big selection of food and drink. Lots to chose from. Had a BBQ sandwich which was delicious. Service was excellent and friendly. You would need to make a lot of visits to sample the whole menu.
K. E.
Those Voodoo Wings !! 😍😍 Amazing shared them with my friends and they all wanted more ! Very moreish 👍🏼
I have always wanted to eat at Canary Wharf Big Easy so glad I finally got the experience.
Mussels we’re cooked good and tasted nice!
Weren’t crazy for the chips though ☺️

At the door the receptionist told us they are fully booked for the night, but I took a quick look on the app find my table an saw that have a table available for 30 minutes after that time. So I booked my table in the app an after that the reception allowed me to let in... this is ridiculous! The price is very high however the food is delicious.

In short, it's decent. Lobster is very small but red meat portions are good size, every red meat is glazed with sweet bbq sauce. Sometimes I felt that the sauce is too sweet. But overall I'm happy. My favourite was cornbread 🌽🍞 muffin. If you're lucky to be seated outside when weather is good. View is amazing.
N.
We visited on Monday so we had the unlimited ribs and chicken. The food was quite tasty and the initial portion is a good size (you can order more of anything you want later on). While service was friendly and quick at the beginning it got very very slow when we tried to order some extra ribs. We called the attention of 3 servers until our order was taken. They had run out of BBQ sauce (on a BBQ restaurant????)
R. G.
Really enjoyed our self, good American atmosphere food was amazing, didn't realise how big the food would be. Staff was well efficient as the kitchen staff missed some if my food items but two min later I had it on my table.
V.
The service is good here, the only thing for me was the food I did not like the food but the person I went with did. Maybe I need to revisit and try something else. But the food was a let down for me I had the lobster roll. Update i come here for a second time this time I got the half lobster which was better than the roll still not super impressed not much to offer but not would come just to have the lobster. I would say come at your own risk lol.
I. D.
Wonderful deliciously prepared food. Amazing for dinner. The prices are affordable. The staff are rushy . Some of them not very polite and talkative.
E. S.
First visit here and we will definitely return.
Service was fast and the waiters are really friendly, I think his name was Giuseppe, very nice chap.
Atmosphere was fantastic, and if you are lucky to get a table on the outside terrace you will love the stunning view.
The food was absolutely delicious, we didn't have any issues with delay or with the quality of the food.
I have read few reviews before and everyone was complaining about the delay of the food, we didn't have any problems.
Can't wait to comeback.
J. P.
A very nice place to eat, whether you’re on a date or out with your friends. The food is good and I’ve enjoyed it every time that I’ve been, however it seems like the quality of the experience has reduced with each visit (I’ve been 4 or 5 times since I first went 4 years ago)
S. C.
I used to like it here but it has gone downhill. The steak I had was cooked too much and had to send it back. The replacement was cooked correctly but the steak was still dry and don't think was a good cut off meat. The lobster was still tasty but again feel that it wasn't as big as before.
S. H.
This place was one of my favourites on a summer lunch in Canary Wharf. For awhile it was difficult to get a drop in place without in advance reservation. But it seems that they have solved the problem by reducing the quality , the portions and bad service. Waiter was reluctant to get our drink orders, they were so slow in serving, the lobster was the size of the shrimp, the chips which previously was part of the meal now needs to be ordered separately, the salad was old and soggy. The prices have increased at least 30%. They had sat customers very close to a tall shattered window. Cocktails were still nice but very limited menu. Oh and the Prosecco that comes with the lobster was bitter void of any sparkle, probably 3 days old. Lower than a road pub food. Never again.
C. B.
Great place on the wharf.
Really enjoyed sitting on the terrace overlooking the water.
We had a lovely lunch with the lobster and shrimp roll which was just enough food when added the chips.
Option of bottomless brunch at weekends too.

OH MY DAYS!! This BBQ was the one!
Got the BBQ Deluxe Blow Out aka: Ribs, Chicken, brisket, sausage, pulled pork, cornbread (which I'm convinced was Madeira cake) with coleslaw and BBQ beans as sides!
The drinks were tasty as well!
Definitely recommend this place!
K. M.
Absolutely fantastic food, just a shame that the service doesn't match - which regretably was sloppy at best. Portions were very good however, you won't go hungry! Prices are a slight premium (£22 for a full BBQ meal) but overall it's not bad considering the location. Worth noting that they don't accept American Express.
D. B.
Everything was good, the food the drink, the atmosphere however the restaurant was very busy and service was very slow. We waited 20 mins before anyone came to take our drinks order, once ordered our food came quite quickly and it was very good but we then waited another 30mins before our table was cleared and offered a desert menu which we declined as our allocated hour and a half time limit was up. I felt as we had an outside table we were forgotten about as it was so busy indoors and perhaps they needed more staff because they all seemed to be rushed off there feet but still managed to be friendly when they did finally get to our table.
D. E. S. V.
The restaurant is placed in an amazing location inside Canary Wharf.
The beef was a little dry but it tasted good. The ribs and the chicken was quite good.
Perhaps a little expensive (+12% in the bill because of the service) for the food quality.
They have live music which is always appreciated.
All in all, a good place. We will come back.
H.
Good food, cool vide(live music) and friendly staff. Check the menu as they have different deals every day, go with an empty stomach 😆. Lovely location, nice ambient and very nice bar. Food was very nice, went on monday where they had the 'THE BIG PIG GIG' consists of ribs, pulled pork and grilled chicken. It was worth it and would definitely recommend 💯
B. B.
We went for the express lunch menu. Food was really good. Service was excellent. Only let down was the slush margarita. Just ice, hardly any alcohol.
P. C.
Love their food and ambiance.. but not the staff. Big easy needs to hire more staff for their ratings to go up.
Love their prawns.
A. H.
We’ve been to Canary Wharf and Covent Garden restaurants loads of times in the past and they never disappoint. Had another great lunch here and we all left stuffed. Prices are really good especially Hit an Run lunch menu and plenty to choose from.
D. D.
Food is great. The staff re nice and attentive. If you are at there place from 12-4pm you have quick many for 10£ and that is good for biz people in Canary wharf. I will for sure get back to this place to eat and drink. There is live music but not what day but you can ask that for sure. Main music is jazz and don't interrupt the talking with the person you are with. I strongly recommend this place for a date or just special dinner with loved one.
Z. B.
I have been visiting this place for years and I must say the standards have dropped. The menu is disappointing all the good meal deals are gone. The portions are much smaller, the fries were lukewarm but that could have been because they don’t bring the food to the table straightaway and then they have the AC on full blast in the middle of winter which makes your food get cold quickly. I ordered the ribs they were tasty but I couldn’t eat 2 of them as they were badly burnt. My husband ordered garlic grilled prawns - they were bland and the portion was small for the price!
Must say I don’t think I’ll be visiting there again anytime soon.
K. L.
Booked a table for 5pm and the happy hours drink are good price and service was good until around 6pm.
The service went down after the early bird menu end. Have to ask the bill twice, they are seriously understaff for dinner service.
The steak is amazing but the lobster rolls overall l was disappointed. The bread for the lobster roll was hard and the lobster is a bit tasteless in general.
C. G.
Had a really great experience. Ivan was our waiter and he was the best! He helped my girlfriend and I choose various platters so we could mix and match and try both the smoked meat and the incredible lobster. Loved it!
K. W.
Odd experience when we tried to book at door, they told us no space. When we looked on OpenTable we could book so we did, no apology when we came back. the general vibe is great, so would recommend for that. However did not enjoy the food very much, the sweet potato fries were too salty and the ribs were too fatty (more like a pot belly than a serving of ribs). Would come back for the general vibe, but maybe try other things on menu
S. M.
The food was something else and fantastic. I will admit we over indulged and I am still full 2 day later but it is worth it. The service was good, the atmosphere was vibrant and overall its a great place.
J. S. (. S.
It was very enjoyable, you get a lot more meat than fish I think though I enjoyed fish more. Didn't need to book when going but does get busy quickly.
A. N.
Amazing food and service. Our waiter Chris and the manager Dipu were super helpful and amazing! Highly recommend it. This was the best family Birthday celebration in a long time.
D.
Nice staff, great food, beautiful location with live music bands (I think on weekends)
M. L.
Good for the £10 lunch deal, but wouldn't recommend for a dinner with friends.
When working in the office was a thing, I often came here for their £10 lunch deal as service was efficient and it was good value for what they serve. I visited for dinner in a group of 4 recently, and sadly didn't have the same experience. Staff are friendly and sweet, but service was all over the place and lack professionalism. Wine arrives without glasses, steaks without knives and one dessert arrives just as we gave up and about to ask for the bill.
Personally I didn't enjoy my crab shack plate (too many new potatoes, lots of clams, only 1 shrimp and crab claws that are too slippery to crack when covered in sauce - better if they serve the sauce on the side), but others were fine with their surf & turfs or lobsters.
H. V. C.
We came on Tuesday for the unlimited shrimp night. They had a great live band playing in the background while we enjoyed our delicious food.
I'm only giving 4 stars because of the food situation. The first portion of boiled shrimp was large with 5 shrimp; however, with each next portion we received only 2. Also every time they would bring us next portion instead of just adding the shrimp they would bring the new portion with sausages, potatoes and corn which at the end no one wanted to eat as we all came to eat unlimited SHRIMP. It was just a waste of food as they would have to take back the dish with all the sides not touched. As you get only 2 additional shrimp we kept on reordering them constantly and the staff was really slow and inattentive.
Just give us more shrimp so we can enjoy the food for longer instead of eyeing the waiter to order more as soon as the food arrives and don't waste all the food. Nevertheless the shrimp were really good especially the sauce.
Will definitely be coming back to try other unlimited food nights.
A. S.
Very friendly management staff, great lobster roll, lovely ambience, definitely suggest you to try it out if you love seafood or a good quality meat! Views are fantastic!
A. D.
I’m a regular at Big Easy with friends & colleagues, but I had never met Ivan (Italian). He was fantastic! His professionalism, care & positive energy made our night! He gave us an extra reason to come back. Thanks, Ivan. Big Easy - you got a great team, bravo!
J. D.
Honestly great. Please listen to your server and do not be a hero by not bothering with the bib if ordering lobster - this shirt will not recover but it was worth every single splash! Great service (thank you Marco) and great food!
S.
Went on Tuesday for bottomless prawns..however after first serving was told that they had run out of prawns....so it was quite disappointing...food was tasty though..
D. H.
I went to have dinner with two of my closest friends for their birthday, at first I was not impressed with the service, however, the host Elena was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for me and my friends to have the best experience.
I really hope to be welcomed by Elena and the manager Giuseppe on my next visit.
Thank you guys. 🙌🏼
M. L.
Lobster and prosecco was really nice, better than I expected for that price! I don't recommend the alcohol slushies as they weren't that flavourful, but I was overall really happy with the experience. The bar is very big, it looked like a nice selection of drinks for a restaurant. There was also live country music which is always appreciated for me, I really enjoyed it!
b. L. L.
Took my partner for a pre birthday dinner. The food was cooked to perfection the cocktails are definitely a 👍 from me.
D. I.
Where do I start yes on a good note that the food omg people it was full of flavours like the ribs cooked where just mouth-watering and the classic burger the 🥓 so much going on and the taste! And people are so clever with flavours all in one burger wow I could keep writing on the food but we didn’t experience having a good waiter I wouldn’t say the restaurant was run down but flying 100mph and knocking beer over a customer lap and all over the places and then to asks for a tip we did tip but didn’t find that side to it a great experience hopefully next time it will be great on both ends
L. B.
The £10 lunch menu is very good value for money and the bbq taste-o-rama is absolutely delicious.
We were helped by a very lovely waitress who seated us inside but remembered we preferred outside then came to find us to ask if we’d prefer to relocate. Little touches like that make a big difference!
I recommend sitting outdoors for a spectacular view of the city.
n. s.
We were waiting for our reserved table for a while which was irritating but life (with covid) after that fantastic food, drinks and view. Our server Giuseppe was absolutely fantastic and attentive and definitely made my sons birthday celebration happen. If it hadn't been for him it would have been a different night!
D. B.
Nice place for drinks. Food was nice. Service was pro.pt, fast and staff very friendly and helpful. But lighting was very dark, found it difficult to see menu and eat the food. The lighting kept going from bright to dark throughout the evening.
b. o. b.
Great atmosphere, they do all you can daily specials as well as a good menu. Good portions
J. F.
The lunch menu is great value for money. Mains are large and the set comes with a drink. For £3 extra you can order a start or dessert.
Some downsides are that service was slow when it wasn’t too busy and the food was served lukewarm.
J. N.
The fillet steak was cooked to perfection. Amazing bbq and great vibes.
E. B.
Fantastic ascetic and atmosphere. Super busy so book ahead! Live music in the evening and cocktail pitchers for the win!
Amazing food. I'm not a massive carnivore but the chicken and pulled pork was delicious. Also the "best chips" were definitely the best, along with the mac and cheese. Very filling, great for a party or special occasion. Did not disappoint. 😊
i. b.
Amazing place, crazy bar with hundreds of bottles of liquor, spirits. Superb bbq food. The shrimp were a let down unfortunately.
C. G.
Haven’t been to BigEasy in a while, but popped in this evening for a last minute meal with a friend. The hush puppies oh my god. Revolutionary! The bottomless chicken wings were so juicy and amazing and the service honestly blew me away. We honestly wanted for nothing throughout the meal and it ended up being such a lovely evening. The Irish chap was honestly so friendly and efficient, he made the night! Will absolutely be back!! Xo
L.
Long time to be served. Manager gave complimentary drinks to apologise.
Bought BBQ platter but it was room temperature and chips were £4.90 and small and cold, manager swapped for hot chips but made it more obvious the platter was cold. Platter was flavourful and Mojito was lovely but won’t be going back again
H. S. K.
We went to this restaurant for my birthday. The food was great. The service was good. It's a big place but the staff is working hard and doing a good job. The big surprise was in the end. They added 12.5% service charge on top of the bill but we were told the restaurant DOESN'T PAY this to the staff. If we could please tip some cash for our great waiter. Unfortunately we didn't had cash with us. I think it's OUTRAGEOUS to keep the service charge.
S. P. N.
The quality in taste has dipped down from last time we visited.
The lobster bake in hot sauce was really bad tasting sauce and since everything us slathered with it we didn't enjoy it at all.
The deep fried unlimited shrimp don't come with sauce you have to ask it on the side.
The servers did not give us equipment to eat our meal with like crab claw or a scoop. Everything had to be requested for.
Even had problems grabbing their attention to get us these things.
Not sure what happened to the place since we had a wonderful experience last time.
G. d.
Great food and atmosphere. The male host was really attentive and the Irish manager went above and beyond to make our group’s experience so enjoyable. Would recommend.
N. L.
Lovely to be back. Great outdoor seating and quick service on the express menu which is as good as ever. Just a shame that there isn't express payment to go with it
R. A.
Every single time we head to Big Easy it is such a fun night. Incredible food, the tastiest cocktails and vibes to match. The live music sets the scene it’s like being in New Orleans ♥️
L. Z.
Food was amazing, but only giving 4 stars because of the hair that I found mixed in with my coleslaw. Otherwise it would have been 5 star all the way.
R. N.
I really enjoyed Big Easy, at Canary Wharf.
There were 7 of us, we settled for the set, seafood menu, it was plentiful and tasty. The staff were attentive, professional, and friendly. The live music they had, was at a noise level, so you could hold a conversation without having to shout at each other. The experience over all was good, I would recommend this restaurant, for an enjoyable evening. As I said we had the sea food, so this is all I am commenting on.
A. P.
Very good friendly waitress although other service staff just placed the various cocktails onto the table with no explanation of what they were. Was very pleased with the service of being able to adapt and change meal times and amount of people. Food was very nice and cocktails and drinks were good too. Just quite pricey.
K.
First time going and I already can't wait to go back, it was amazing, we say outside and the view was amazing, I can't remember the name out our waitress but she was amazing honestly ger service alone deserves 5 stars I really wish i remembered her name so she could get proper recognition.
Starters were good the voodoo shrimp in my opinion isn't hot but taste amazing, the jalapeño peppers (poppers) had a slight kick but personally not spicy, calamari was amazing. Overall flavour was good just thought it would have been spicy.
Lobster and shrimp roll was ok, I think if the lobster chunks were bigger or if it was in a garlic butter sauce i dunno but it was good. THE LOBSTER MAC AND CHEESE was absolutely delicious wanted to order another one. As I do not have too much of a sweet tooth i ordered the strawberry waffle for dessert and honestly it was the cherry on top, the apple and cinnamon waffle was amazing also if you have a sweet tooth.
Drink wise of you're looking to taste hour alcohol try the rum punch absolutely brilliant, the pink lady (empty glass in pic sorry) was also lovely, and you get a free cocktail slushy or drink with your lobster dish, drinks were on par with the whole atmosphere. Over all definitely visiting again
R. K.
We had a perfect dinner for our first date and Domingo made us fall in love with the place and ourselves
D. M.
Waited 2.5hours for a table which was very frustrating however I understand they were busy, their didn't seem to be enough wait staff for the size of the venue. Food was delicious however our main plates came out a good 15minutes before our chips/sides arrived, we complained to the waitress as it kind of ruined the meal and she didn't seem to care, no discount, drink on the house etc. One of the party ended up leaving her sides as she was full after eating her main plate, seemed a waste. Great place but could be much much better.
G. P.
Don’t ever come here if you’re not very hungry, this is the sort of place you come for a true feast!! As a group of 5 we shared the deluxe BBQ blow out, and everything was super tasty and really well cooked! Service was quick and efficient too!
M. H.
Hi I'm back . This time I was visited this love place big ease . Place easy to find but not easy to park only parking you can get is canary wharf jubilee parking . With is not to bad about 5 min to walk .Place nice interior have inside And outside tables . Outside bit to cold if is raining day . Ok I start from my order starters we have had chicken wing with it was dry not tasty at all should be juice and tasty . Second we order calmar bits or something like that I expect in see food restaurant come get fresh food but it was definitely frozen tasty like chuing gum, it is not hard to make them fresh it takes 5 min but I'm not chef for this place . Ok continued for other dishes 2lb lobster cut in half? No way let customer choose how you want to served it is not make better taste but customers not eat them everyday I guess whey would like to see full lobster in they plates or let them choose cut in half or full . Taste good juicy it is required lot work to open if you don't know how but this is thing . Salad couple leaf and that it ? Serve with little bit more make them special. Owners should try them self to see whT chef is serving to customer ir can't by more worst to restaurant if they loose customer. Best regard bob
A. S.
Fantastic food, great service, live music. What else to wish for?
S.
Was really excited to be back here and was not disappointed. Great food, great service and amazing music. Its a shame really that only in restaurants like this will you hear proper musical classics like blues n rock n roll unlike the rubbish modern noise of today. Had the deluxe bbq sharer which could pretty much feed 4 people and as always the brisket is divine! Well worth it!
Z. C.
The food was sensational 😋 the bottomless brunch was phononial and Rocco was an amazing waiter and worked extremely hard. And thank you to all the kitchen and bar staff as well
J. S.
Good food, large portion sizes and friendly staff! The food doesn't take long to get to the table and they have a good sized food and drinks menu 👍.
They loose a star as we was told we could only book a table for a maximum of 8 people but when we arrived we was taken to a table that seated 10.
B. B.
This is one amazing place to come eat. The lobster is fantastic and definitely what you should come to enjoy from this place. The drinks where also great. The bar is huge and the rack full of bottles complimenting the look definitely sells. Would definitely come back.
A. H.
Our server Irina was absolutely fantastic, couldn't do enough to assist us. The food was top. Good portions & tasty
J. B.
What a great night. We have been meaning to visit for sometime now. Our waitress (Emily Y.) was awesome. From start to finish, she made sure we have everything we needed. To be frank, she is the main reason we wanted to leave a big tip. She was so attentive, so caring and she made the night. Management need, and should make sure Emily hears this.
We live locally and will definitely be back. The chicken wings were delightful, and the long island ice tea cocktails were a proper treat!
J. F.
Food was initially warm but was exchanged without any difficulties therefore I was agreeable to the service charge that was included in the bill.
Happy Hour cocktail menu was limited but items available were tastey.
A good atmosphere with attentive staff.
M. M.
This was my second visit. This is now one of my favourite restaurants.
The good
They were out of whole lobster the first time I came if memory serves but I got a lobster bake with the white sauce instead. I am very glad to have tried it because I still dream of that dish. I almost ordered it the second time visited but I decided I should try the whole menu. I had the lobster Mac and cheese this time, It was esquisite. I also had cornbread and coleslaw. my dining partner had a steak and lobster. The lobster was the best she has ever had apparently, very soft and not chewy at all. The steak during the first visit "melted in her mouth".
The bad
The calamari starters were better during my first visit. The starters in general are very nice but could be bigger. If you want value for money you should order sides rather than starters.
My partner said the steak was better during the first visit. I don't eat meat so can't say if it's luck of the draw on not when it comes to steak.
It can be a bit difficult to get a waiters attention sometimes.
Either way, We will be returning again and again.
K. i.
Enjoyed the shared platter and the beautiful company. Interesting interior as well. The walk there, under the coloured bridge was definitely fun...
E. G.
Great food and excellent location would have given 5 stars but unfortunately the service is extremely slow after being seated we waited 20 minutes for our order to be taken and on completion of our meal we was hoping for another drink but was left waiting over half an hour so just decided to get the bill.
I. J.
Such a good deal for a treat lunch! Absolutely stuffed at the end of the meal, and the food was great to top it. Definitely a recommendation, although your waistband might complain after a few return trips...
R.
View was great, service arrogant waiters for some reason. Lobsters were big and fun to eat though if a little chewy. Drink that came with meal was funny... room to improve but would still go back
R. E.
Have been to the Covent Garden branch a few times but this was my first time at the Canary Wharf BE and had such a great experience made even more so by our waiter Ivan. He was professional and attentive as well as giving some great tips - usually go for the ole faithful but he suggested trying some new plates and I'm so glad that I did. Top! Thank you Ivan
D. B.
Out of this world food great staff amazing decor would highly recommend.

I have been going to the Big Easy for many years now. Shrinkonomics has really affected this restaurant chain. They used to have really good offers but now the portions are getting smaller without any change in the price (except the whole lobster which is now £5 extra compared to a few years ago). Despite the half pint beer and smaller portions, the food is still pretty good. I would give it a 3.5 overall if I could. However, the restaurant is still really popular and I still like it from time to time.
m. A.
It's a nice dining experience with decent food and friendly staff. In the summer the balcony is lovely. Just don't feel like you get enough lobster for your money, otherwise a kool place to go
J. K.
Most amazing bbq food I've ever had! Definitely worth a visit if you like American style fire pit food! Can recommend the taste o'rama if you want to try a selection of different meats! Covid friendly also!

Was there to warm up after a long walk in a windy day. Myself had a Jack Daniels with coke and a raspberry margherita for my dear friend. Also ordered hush puppies wich was great with some beer afterwards, also some tender chicken strips wich was the most tender chicken I had ever tried. Wow!
The portions was great ... filling and delicious! The place view is stunning!!!
N. K.
The best american restaurant in town. Great quality of food with a huge variety of products. Warm and cozy place. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend this place.
T. C.
There were a few technical problems with our visit tonight. Not completely unsurprising considering all the challenges that the restaurant industry has coming out of the lockdown & restarting dining in.
But the customer service response was outstanding. Very quickly addressed the Manager came and spoke to us before we even realise there was going to be a problem. So a big well done. ✅
We have been visiting this chain since are girls were small and we will be back. 😁

I went to this place with a friend and the place is amazing. Great ambiance, nice furniture, great food, affordable price. Staff member Nicola was very good, excellent worker.
E. O.
I had the best time here - served by Genti at the bar and he was so pleasant. Not only was he fret at making our cocktails but he was only the most attentive!! Thank you so much for making our night!
S. (.
Location and atmosphere is lovely however the service was really slow and the food was.... okay.
T. I.
Great value for money. We had the boozy brunch. The food was delicious. I couldn't get enough of the Hush Puppies.
Lovely music played in the background before the life band came on. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.

Absolutely and unbelievably wonderful!!!!
We have reviewed many restaurants in our years and this has definitely exceeded our expectations!
My partner treated me to our anniversary dinner and what a good choice
Food was impeccable- defo have to try the lobster! service was speedy and attentive, atomosphere was lively 😀
Only criticism is our waiter came across slightly patronising when answering some of our questions but we defo made him work with the amount of food we ordered 😂
#jojo cough* okay on that point yes the waiter was coming across rushy rushy,
I had to repeat my self and the order multiple times and the music weren't even that loud .
for a couple on there anniversary I got ask, "Do I want the bill" 20mins before my 2 hour reservation slot was up that annoyed me and rather embarrassing, i wanted to try the lovely dessert.
I have heard some great things about this place and I would of gave it a solid 5 star only if I didn't feel so rushed to leave.
But I did leave with a full belly and my first time eating a whole lobster, definitely a experience to remember.
Well done Big Easy.

Great value of money and excellent service! We’ve had chosen bottomless brunch with unlimited barbecue. (£29,50 per person). Food was delicious, ribs are to die for and chicken so juicy! If you want to try lobster I would recommend whole of half option, my lobster roll was quite average. We sat outside, had lovely time and the nicest waiter ever.
T. A.
Lovely food. Good food reasonably fast. Lovely atmosphere. Packed on Thursdays and Fridays. Average spend per person is about £25 for 3 course meal before 5 on their lunch menu including glass of wine. They do charge service charge like everywhere. Good view too depending on your seating. Also, there is a lovely enclosed roof garden just outside of the restaurant.
E. J.
Great table service, was unsure about previous reviewers complaining about bad table service as our server was lovely. Great food, even for one platter the £20 Big Pig Gig is a superb deal - the wine could be a bigger glass though!
All in all, lovely location and experience, would happily go again.

Visited here on the evening of the13th, it was like our post anniversary dinner out spot. After a nice dinner out close by, we popped in here for a nightcap as we had l already visited the site in Stratford twice which we enjoyed! It was fairly packed as a lot of tables were finishing up dinner and a number of customers sitting around the bar. My hubby and I got a seat by the bar where we could watch and listen the live band of 2 guys, nice vibes. Was a nice vibe finishing off our evening here having a number of drink. Downfall, on asking for a really nice quality top rum to have on the rocks, lolol the bartender offer a basic Captain Morgan or Bacardi lolol. There were various levels of shelves filled with all sorts of top of line rums and we had a laugh that this was what the bartender up sell lolol.
D. L. S.
Food and drinks were alright but the service was rubbish. It was very slow and the service charge was a JOKE. The girl at the door was just 🤦♀️, couldn't tell if she was dumb or just had terrible social skills. The bar staff were great, though I probably won't come back.
Wernt worth the money or travel.
D.
Not as great as I expected. The ribs I ordered was not piping hot though a good sized portion.
G. D.
Wonderful evening.. Food was fabulous. Come with an empty stomach cause their potions are gooood. Atmosphere was great. We had a live band playing. It was totally delightful.
M. A.
Food was excellent, especially the sauce for the lobster bake. Unfortunately we did not receive the appropriate cutlery for the seafood which left us feeling crabby and covered in lobster goop. It took several requests to obtain all the requisite implements, but the staff were really friendly and we had a laugh. Perhaps management needs to add a little extra training?
H. R.
Very nice view overlooking the Canary wharf. Starters were good. Lobster can be tried once. Inhouse brew also was good. Not very impressed with jerk chicken.
L. G.
I went a few days ago and loved both the treatment received, decoration and the quality of the food I was also attended by a waiter named benjamin who was very close and attentive, we will repeat
L. H.
Good atmosphere and service. Decent food but grossly overpriced. If you want lobster, definitely go up a size from what you think you need. Free slushie cocktail with meal undrinkable.
H. P.
Excellent atmosphere, really fast and quality service. Good food. Not excellent but certainly good. Burger was decent, maybe a tad to meaty/fat, however veggies/sauces made up for it. I also tried the fried calamari - good, but it's deep fried food which you can't really mess up. Shrimp & lobster mac and cheese was quite good. I really liked the idea of having a rum bar! Would definitely return to this place!
G. G.
Very nice place, lovely atmosphere, would love to come back at night when the live band is playing, good food for a good price, very nice staff. Definitely coming back.
N. T.
It was an amazing evening. The food and drinks were delicious and our server, feel so bad to not remember her name starting with I was so great. She delivered outstanding service. I was beyond impressed by her that I left a note on a napkin for the managers to receive as I couldn't wait to let them know. She's a credit to the company not just with us but with everyone who entered and sat down that night. I thank her greatly.
M. B.
First-time coming and have to say the decor, music and atmosphere was brilliant. Also the early bird dinner was brilliant value, really good portion size, chicken wings and Mac and cheese were really good and BBQ a Rama was brilliant. Also drinks very tasty and great value in happy hour.
Let down by really lazy unbothered customer service. SUPER slow service at the bar and charged service charge for each drink even though this wasn't advertised, especially for non existent service. Also staff just seemed really unhappy and grumpy to be working there, maybe automatic service charge means no need to try/smile, or it's not a good place to work.
So much potential to be brilliant if they just put even a little effort into customer service as food, music and decor is great.
S. A.
I LOVE THIS PLACEE :)
MARCO was the BEST waiter here!! He's welcoming, brilliant with service, made us laugh and has awesome stories! Also good with recommendations if you're suck with what to chose!
Made Us feel welcome and it is my 2nd time here.
Thankyou Big Easy and Thankyou Marco for spectacular service!
M. c.
From the moment we walked in, extremely friendly staff. From the barman to waiters, they were all great. Special mentions to Marco and Andreas, Marco, you are the best waiter we have experienced in a long time, and we visit many London restaurants. Andreas, thanks you for arranging our seating area. Food was excellent, fresh lobster, chickens wings and burger!!! Cannot fault them.
M.
Lovely location, yummy food with decent portions. Also, has a great selection of drinks to suit everyone.
I didn't give it full stars, just because the chef could of helped cracked the crab claws a bit to make hella a lot easier to eat!
L. E. N.
Simply spectacular, good service and a lot of musical fun.
B. E.
Firstly, we had to queue for ages to be seated as there was only 1 member of staff checking reservations, taking temperatures and seating people. When my friend was downloading the track and trace app the attender tapped her phone which was an invasion on her personal space, and especially during this time. It also took quite a while to be served after being seated. The cocktails were extremely basic and watered down. Presentation was also poor, you could better looking cocktails and Whetherspoons. This is the 2nd time that I've been to Big Easy (last time I went to the one in Leicester Square) and both times my side of Mac & Cheese was forgotten. This time 3 different waiters came to ask if it had arrived and I just ended up cancelling it as I had already finished my starter and main. Overall the food was really good but that didn't save the overall experience.
J. J.
We went to Big Easy in Canary Wharf last night (23rd October 2021) and had an outside table which was actually very nice. However, the waiter was absolutely useless. We had to call him over after a very long wait to just order our drinks initially but decided to order the starters too, as the service was very slow. When the meals eventually arrived they had forgotten one of our meals and we had finished our meal before this meal arrived. We kept on prompting the waiter to see where it was however, he was too busy arguing with another waiter! The food was good but the servicing needs to be addressed otherwise the ratings will not improve. Another waiter arrived to begin serving and was excellent - shame we didn't have him in the first instance.
K. B.
Friendly staff, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend for those who like good food and large portions.
A. L.
Amazing live music and American style BBQ,. Staff are friendly and good location with a nice terrace overlooking Canary Wharf. One of my favorites.
C. L.
What an amazing night! Service amazing, friendly staff especially the lovely Irish man! Can’t wait to return. Would highly recommend.
C. N.
Absolutely amazing food! I went there for a baby shower where a private room was booked. The food was done buffet style where platters of food was brought out! The chicken wings, calamari, Jalepenos in a cheese stuffed bread batter, king prawns battered EVERYTHING tasted GREAT!
The drinks - no. Alcoholic was so delicious! I had a Shirley temple which was very tasty! The service was great too! Recommend it!
Y. L.
A enjoyable place for casual dining. The restaurant has a big open kitchen and surrounded by glass building. We ordered BBQ chicken as starter, they serve such a large portion! The lobster and shrimp are quiet fresh as well. The idea of inviting live music band is great but the background music is bit too loud.
G. M.
The food is good, and the place is well presented. But the staff are slow, so adding gratuity to the bill is not on. We're not in America. There are many other BBQ joints doing just as good food if not better without bumping the bill up at the end. Shame as I would have given 5* otherwise.
J. A.
Went with three friends as one of them suggested it was a good experience. I doubt I could eat any type of meat anywhere else again. Was the most amazing food and the place itself would be a good date or night out.
R. w.
Great food, great service, more than value for money! Will defo be back
R. A.
The "unlimited" platter option at 20£ a friend tried, left him with 2 days of stomach acid levels off the chart. Probably that's because he's not from the US... even though he's no stranger to meat. Service was good and as usual the ambience is always nice, especially when with friends.
J. G.
Came here for brunch as part of a gift that was given to me and my girlfriend and was happy with overall service and food.
Ordered the bottomless pig bbq brunch and received pulled pork, rib and chicken and was happy with most of it (chicken a little bland) but the sides and attention paid to us was excellent.
The wings which we ordered as an extra were fantastic and the fries delicious, if anything the biggest complaint would be that the table was too small for us! Eating was a little cramped sadly.
Would happily go again and order off the menu or have brunch again.
D. S.
This is the second time we have come to the big easy Canary Wharf.
The last time was a car crash, terrible service from beginning to end, however the food was good and we decided to give it a second try.
This time it was faultless, everything was very good, brilliant food and good service.
Will definitely be coming back
l. g.
Went here on a date. Lovely atmosphere and had a really good time. Food was fresh and filling and prices reasonable
D.
Lovely vibe, staff are very good, 3 people asked if we needed service in the first couple of mins. Spoke to Donal (think he was the manager) fab service and very attentive.
R. J.
Had the lunchtime Thursday special. Steak and lobster . Very good. Nice beer and wine. Good service. Great music . Very busy .
S. T. N. F.
Located at the top floor just next to the sky gardens it has a welcome sign outside outside lights as if you're on a movie set ready for action. The staff where amazing when we got there it had started pouring down and we had booked a terrace table which meant it might have affected our booking. Luckily because we came early we had a bit of wait and eventually the rain died down a bit. We eventually got seated and l can safely say we had the best waiter David/Davide Italian guy, tall and just attentive and gave us a personalised service he is an asset to the restaurant. We went for the brunch offer with three of us going for the unlimited Bbq ribs that's comes with chicken, chips, beans and coleslaw. What ld recommend is if you're visiting during brunch hours only 1.person needs to get the ribs as they are huge and enough for everyone to share and it's unlimited you might as well try something else on the menu for variety than have 2 of the same big meal its such a waste. After our meal we took some lovely pictures I the sjygardens right next door to the restaurant. Imagine a massive greenhouse that's just peaceful, green and just puts you intiych with nature all under one globe it us quite the sight. What a lovely afternoon we had
T. T.
The food was great, atmosphere was great, our waiter was great.
However, the hostess at the door who greeted us and showed us the table was not friendly at all and frankly useless. I requested a table by the window/booth in advanced and understood that it might not be possible if it’s busy. So upon our arrival, I asked again whether a window seat or booth is possible. She told us to sit in a table near the door first while she went to check. Within 10seconds, she came back and told me there’s none available. I said okay no worries and got up to the bathroom. As I walked back and passed the bar area I could see at least 7 free tables (all tables are for 4 too!) all by the windows. So I went to ask another waitress to see if those tables are free, she said yes! However she said she needed to ask the waiter who served us... the waiter said no as he’s already taken the order for drinks. For me it ruined the whole experience. It was very disappointing as it was such a simple request and the hostess couldn’t even bother to check. She even had that request on her slip of paper when she walked us in!
Otherwise everything was great. We really enjoyed the 1.5lbs lobster and the ribs! The lobster bake was okay, the mussels were very tasty but part of the lobster in the lobster bake was not cooked and it was translucent. My dad only told me after we left the restaurant as he didn’t want to ruin the night. Overall it was fine, would go back to big easy but not the one in Canary Wharf.
A. I.
A dip in form. All the deserts we wanted were unavailable. We ordered the pig big gig which used to come with a bowl of beans and slaw for each person, but we only got two bowls of each for 4 people. The food still tasted decent. Service was okay.
M. J.
I haven't been to the big easy in ages and it was a wonderful return. The food was excellent especially for a seafood lover like myself. Also the live entertainment was amazing, what a wonderful night out.
T. R.
Arrived at 1300 on a Sunday and were given an estimate of a 40 minute wait for a table for 2. We choose to have a drink at the bar and before we'd even finished our drinks we were offered at table!
The service was excellent. Very attentive with constant table water top-ups. We never even had to ask! We ordered a sharing plate to start, Mac Attack and Brisket sandwich for mains. Would definitely recommend all of those options. We were secretly betting on how expensive the whole order would be but were very pleasantly surprised that it only can't to just over £50 for two (considering the sharing platter to start was £22.50 we thought this was pretty good)!
I. O.
Came here with a group of my friends for my birthday. I was sceptical about the 'party menu' that we were required to order from (as were were a large group) but I was pleasantly suprised. We were given an amazing platter of tasty food and there was much more than enough to go round, we had to take some home. Everyone enjoyed the food and the cocktails were great too. Props to our waiter who was very attentive and helpful throughout our dinner.
v. o.
Great 18th birthday celebration, we all really enjoyed the live band, the place was busy and we were attended with all requests. Brisket was delicious and tender, lobster was on point and the platter was a good starter to share, even left with a doggy bag 👍🏾👍🏾🍾
K. N.
When you find yourself in Cannery Wharf and fancy a Stake, or some BBQ Ribs or even a Burger and Chunky Chips, then you need to head down to the Big Easy.
I have eat here a few times and I must say the food is just mouth-watering.
The service is excellent and the servers are very friendly.
If you are uncertain of what you would like or just simply overwhelmed by the choice of delicious items on the menu, just ask the servers and they will be more than happy to help you make a choice.
But let us not dwell on the delicious food as there a good selection of drinks that are available.
I would suggest that you book in advance as it can get very busy.
I would highly recommend this place.
i. s.
To be fair, we did not eat here. It was 6PM. They started they were booked solid all night. The attitude from hostess is the 3 stars. Tourist in Lindon, don't just drop in. We went upstairs to another restaurant and they had plenty of seats.
P. M.
I took my husband here for his birthday yesterday. We couldn’t find it and ended up being late, I was told we couldn’t get the table we originally booked but after a short time they still made a way for us to be seated and enjoy the evening, service was on point and all the staff were friendly. Good food, good views if you get to sit outside :)
M. I.
Ivan best waiter ever!
We will come back for sure thanks to him! He made our time superb and we had so much fun, grazie mille Ivan!
a. b.
Great location with excellent views. Live music and lovely food. Good choice of craft ales and beers. Service could be improved as food came before drinks and had to ask for cutlery for lobster. Desert also came before tea and coffee.
J. R.
Had a great time here. Lovely restaurant and atmosphere. Food and drinks were great (bottomless lunch) and service was excellent. Hristo looked after us and was constantly smiling. We will definitely be visiting again.
S. S.
Don’t really like diners but this is great! Had the half bar BQ chicken and shrimp. It was a great serving size and a nice variety of flavours and textures. Drinks were delicious. Vibrant atmosphere in a great location. Service isn’t great unfortunately
M. L.
We've been going for years but the quality has gone downhill. Great value deals and lobsters were good. However, rare and medium-rare steaks looked identical and they were chewy. Another medium-rare was 110% cooked. Waiters were great all evening. Hope the kitchen improves on their steaks!
L.
It’s nothing that wow’d me but it’s decent for lunch with the deals. Food wasn’t too bad but the chicken strippers were bland. A nice little place for friends to eat and chill. On a nice day sitting outside is quite nice too with good views. I am not sure if I’d be back in a hurry.
J. W.
Second time going, last time I went was for my 19th birthday back in January 2020. Better then I remembered. Had the whole lobster and burger with chips, 10/10. Atmosphere and vibe is amazing too
M. A. s.
I work as a waiter and I can only say that Vlad offered me incredible service. Thank you very much big easy.
R. C.
10/10 service, amazing, best night out!!!! The manager Giuseppe treat us really well. We will be back
S. B.
Great restaurant lots of food at great prices got a unlimited meal the big pig gig at big easy downside is if u get a unlimited meal you will not be able to take a doggy bag away the amount of food that's going to waste
B. P.
I am very pleased with my dinner for two on a Saturday Evening. It was so easy to book and we were seated right on time. The food was served promptly and it was very delicious. Great service too. It was very busy and overall noisy but this is not a problem when you are with good company. I will definitely visit again and has recommended the place to all my friends.
C. W.
Great food and lovely staff, but being there mid-afternoon on a Tuesday was probably why we struggled to attract the attention of a waiter sometimes.
Otherwise it's a lively atmosphere with utterly fabulous music.
Highly recommended.
D. J.
The waiters in this place are terrible, which is a shame because the setting, the food and the general vibe is amazing. Because they live off service charge rather than tips it’s like they don’t even need to try to provide good service. Preferred it when you could just order beer and wings at the bar.
T. B.
Nice place, good live music. Tight time limits on tables when I went so probably not the best place to go if you want to socialise.
H. V.
Lovely atmosphere with crowded and always popular restaurant. This restaurant was very noisy and I was not able to hear the person in front of me. The food took and average time to arrive but was horrified to find that the calamari option was not actually fresh (as it does say it is on the menu).
The food quality was average and the chips were nothing special.
Average restaurant with great views.
K. B.
We went to meet with friends at the bar. Good atmosphere there was live music what would have been good was the option of some bar food. The restaurant was fully booked so we had to go somewhere else to get food.
F. R.
Always feel special. The ribs are superb. Also lobster and meat. Really good everything. Very memorable every time we go there
S.
The lobster was succulent tasty with creamy mash
A. W.
I'm a big fan of American BBQ and seafood so this place is one of my favorites. Ok, it's not cheap and there's nearly always a wait for a table but the food is awesome! Top tip - there's enough for two to share on almost every dish! Don't sit too near the band (live music every evening) if you want to be able to chat. Great selection of beers, spirits and wines... Staff always helpful and attentive even if they are being run off their feet!
P. M.
In the past I've been a big fan of the Big Easy. But our last visit was a disappointment. The service was poor, (despite the added 12.5% service charge), and the live music wasn't a patch in the Pre-Covid entertainment. If this had been my first visit I would not be returning. The food was really good, if they had managed to bring what we ordered to our table, I would have rated it more highly.
S. R.
We went as a group of 19 and the service provided by ALISIA and Giorgio, they were brilliant, very patient and understanding with our needs. Food was lovely although it was delivered in platters to be shared with the whole group instead of being individually delivered to each one of us. Overall very good
C. P.
Save your money and go somewhere else, the food is nothing spectacular and the service is not great either
P. N.
Service was very slow, we waited 30 minutes just to order. The section didn't seem busy it was a Sunday. Server did seem stress so perhaps it was busier than it looked. Food is ok, pretty average. I ordered the lobster bake with hot and spicy sauce which was neither hot nor spicy. Portion size was good and seafood itself was ok.
S. G. P.
We had a really great time! Benja was really professional helping us on choosing the meal and was amazing!
A. T.
Good service.
Decent value for money.
Lots of space.
Slightly on the noisy side if you want to chat - but great atmosphere for larger groups.
Knocking one star because the food is average.
A. A.
I have just to say Racheal and Marcos it was simply amazing Very friendly and professional but the restaurant with less staff and management In the and kitchen !!! We was waiting to Long for for food and drinks!
r.
Amazing food and amazing service. The lobster bake was delicious as it had a variety of different seafood from mussels, lobster, jumbo shrimp and crab served in a hot pan that was soaked in the most tastiest white wine sauce. I definitely enjoyed my stay here
N. W.
Great atmosphere, the chicken and waffles were HUGE. The food here is a tribute to American diner food, and I feel like they probably do it better than American diners. It's delicious, and for about £13 you get a meal that's more than filling, and you'll be satisfied just LOOKING at it. Hoping to try the lobster next time I come.
J. P.
It was my first time to try the Canary Wharf branch today and was soooo looking forward to great food. I have tried the other 2 branches several times and they did not disappoint. The ambience of this branch was not that friendly. I was disappointed with the food as well. The salad was bitterly green and the lobster didn't come with the famous garlic butter. Although the waiter just stated the butter was already put on the lobster... nevertheless, just had to eat my food... 😞😞😞
J. J.
Expensive however the Caribbean young female was an amazing host
S. W.
This place was lovely and wonderful music service was a bit slow waited 30 minutes before anyone served us the food was excellent I would recommend it
C. P.
We had a great evening, the waiters and waitresses were polite and attentive. The food was amazing, naturally we had Lobster, also Lobster/Mac n Cheese. We managed to squeeze in a dessert too. The prices were reasonable.
P. M. K.
I really like all the Big Easy venus across London. They offer good food for a reasonable price and they also offer great deals. But I strongly recommend to book a table in advance as it can be very difficult to get a table in less than 2 hours if you're in a waiting list.
J.
Food was really good, genuine & caring customer service. Catered to my needs to enjoy my meal!
M. C.
Very busy place. Nice staff. Quick service. Lovely food. We didn't book a table for this time we were just passing buy when we decided to stop in this place. 23' later we were sitting at the table ordered. 10' later enjoyed the taste!! Yummy
M. P.
Celebrated my nephews 21st, with 17 others. The private dinning area was beautiful. Nice long table for maybe 12 more to ne seated. The starters and mains came on sharing platters (silver dustbins lids).
Some of the food was a little bit salty, and the main only came with shortbread. Hey the atmosphere great, woth pitchers of beer and mojitos and 6 mixrd wines.
Our server was so nice, helpful and felt like family. So a massive Thank you to this young professional and BIG EASY@Canary wharf
K. S.
Booked this in may for 4th September for my anniversary arrived to be told no lobster and by time you get your strarters your mains right behind
T. S. C.
The rib eye is perfect. Just my friend's steak is a bit over cooked.
S.
Let's talk about Big Easy. This Southern State inspired restaurant serves big meaty dishes across its 3 London locations, with the latest sitting in Canary Wharf. The staff are courteous and helpful, and the surrounds are appropriately decorated for the Orleans style cuisine. The food itself: Delicious, with meat being the order of the day - this chain represents the best in BBQ food, with large helpings of lobster to boot. Well priced, although factor in around 20-30 pounds per person, not including drinks. A highly recommended eatery, and well worth a visit if you are in Canary Wharf, or the other locations in Covent Garden or Kings Road.
J. J.
Always feel so welcome at The Big Easy. The staff are fun, the food is fantastic and the drinks are mind blowing!
S. S.
My favourite go to place for good food, good drinks and good live music. Love the Voodoo wings with blue cheese dipping and the barbque wings are good too. Apart from this they serve amazing lobsters as well. They also make good cocktails and offer early evening and late night happy hours from Sunday to Friday.
Would definitely recommend this place to satiate your surf n turf cravings.
J. B.
Great food. Brilliant brunch deals between 12-4. Staff really welcoming. Fantastic atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit.
V. P.
The ambience was nice. They had a live band. But slightly loud if you seated near there tricky to talk. Service was average we felt rushed to leave our table. My ribs were really fatty, however I was told by the waitress in advance.
T. P.
The Big Easy is a nice fancy American Sports Bar & Grill.. They have lots of all you can eat options on fish and meat, so you can go there on an empty stomach and they will satisfy you, with massive portions and great tasting flavours and sauces.
The eye catching 2 pint jugs will have you dancing out of there into the cool Canary Wharf air.
Great for large groups a romantic night out with the significant other, or after work drinks and an awesome view of the city and its Ants.
A. G.
Comfort food at it's best, large portion but not sure worth what I paid, however it is canary wharf.
I had a mock tail - or non alcoholic pina colade, that was my only regret at £9.50 . I would recommend if you don't care about budget and just want real comfort food
Z.
Good food and great location.. but the price is a bit high and the waiting time is just too much.
And there is all you can eat shrimps for 20 pounds on Tuesday.
M. W.
We had a great time! Our second visit, and both times the waitress was brilliant, super friendly and service was excellent.
The food is perfectly good, but obviously is never going to be dirty smoke backyard authentic. Nevertheless both times we enjoyed and walked away with big smiles
L. F.
Amazing place for afternoon brunch. We had the bottomless brunch Choice and it was amazing. Food was amazing. Staff were very attentive and helpful. We were a large group and they made us all feel great. Thanks so much. Will definitely be back
C. E.
I’d never heard of this restaurant so when I arrived I didn’t know what to expect.. but it didn’t disappoint! We arrived and waited a small time for our table so ordered some cocktails at the bar! They had every bottle of drink imaginable and making the drinks I’m sure you needed some qualification because I’d never seen anything like it, looked amazing and tasted incredible! Now the important part the food.. I’d always wanted to try lobster and I took that opportunity! It tasted amazing, cooked beautifully and was smothered sauces and oils, I couldn’t fault it! I thought the prices were reasonable for what I had and service was quick and friendly! I will defiantly be returning to big easy! 5* from me :)

Had unlimited shrimp on a Tuesday. Inconsistency with the quality of each plate, specifically temperature. Ordered a coke and a diet but the server did not know which was which.

Occupying one end of the Crossrail roof garden, this place is bigger than I expected and was busy even at 5:30pm on a Sunday. We were seated immediately, but it was made clear that they needed the table back within 90 minutes. Not a problem, but not the most welcoming message. Service was fine, if not particularly memorable.
The menu here is more diverse than many true BBQ places and this is perhaps reflected in the food. It's decent, but not outstanding. My pulled pork was a little fattier than I'd have liked, and my wife found the brisket slightly lacking in flavour until she added some sauce. The chunky chips though, were excellent; crisp and fluffy.
Reasonably priced (for London) and we'd unknowingly arrived during happy hour so my beer was cheaper than my wife's sparkling water, which was a bonus.

Arrived at 1300 on a Sunday and were given an estimate of a 40 minute wait for a table for 2. We choose to have a drink at the bar and before we'd even finished our drinks we were offered at table! …

We went as a group of 19 and the service provided by ALISIA and Giorgio, they were brilliant, very patient and understanding with our needs. Food was lovely although it was delivered in platters to be shared with the whole group instead of being individually delivered to each one of us. Overall very good

Busy BBQ eatery on Canary Wharf. Good range of food including daily specials. Prices are decent for London. Specialty is lobster - not tried on this trip. Service is good.

Super tasty crispy calamari, great meaty options. Beautiful venue, friendly staff and nice selection of cocktails. Live music as well! I like to coming back here, always great service
M. L.
The lobster was delicious, but the sizes of the portions are a bit disappointing.
Atmosphere and staff are great. Beautiful sunset. Great music.

Nice place... Good food.. A place to spend 2 hours with a couple of drinks and friends.

Excellent service from the manager. Thank you Lorenzo !!!

Authentic speak easy Americana restaurant with live musics, decent food and good service... Always super busy so it's better to book, even busier on Friday when the crowd from canary wharf happily waits for a table at the bar... Portions are good and I would definitely recommend the lobster

This place is a 3.5 star for me. I haven’t tried many BBQ places in London but this one is certainly not bad. I really liked the ribs, however, didn’t enjoy the chicken so much due to the sauce. I really enjoyed the environment and music. I would recommend trying out this place.

Arrive with an empty stomach, the food is delicious and very filling. There's room at the bar for pre-dinner drinks, happy hour cocktails selected beers. Craft beer on tap too. Friendly staff. Live music at times.

The food is just amazing. The staff are great and really friendly / helpful and the atmosphere is also great. They have live music which fits so well. I would recommend booking though as its so busy.

The food was lovely and the portions were decent, great value. Nice atmosphere and friendly service!

I had quite high expectations for this restaurant but unfortunately I felt a little let down. The service was quite slow and I feel like there wasn’t that element of friendliness that you would like to see in a restaurant. The food was quite dry and bland, lacking quite a bit of flavour. This being said, I think the average service is due to them being short staffed. It was clear the staff were doing their best but unable to be as attentive because they were rushed off their feet. I think an extra hand is needed to ease the stress of the waiters and make the dining experience more positive. The cocktails however were AMAZING and fairly priced, particularly during happy hour. The overall layout of the restaurant was really good, some seats had a nice view of Canary Wharf which was an added bonus. Most tables had heaters and also umbrellas in case of bad weather, and it was a comfortable atmosphere. I would come back, but probably just for the lovely drinks

A visit to the Canary Wharf Winter Lights also found us with a wealth of choice of restaurants to explore, we would usually land in Wagamama but being a fan of bottomless brunch I was naturally tempted by the fixed price brunch menu offered at Big Easy but once seated opted for half lobster, with garlic sauce, a child’s meal of a hamburger patty (very pink) & a meal that could easily pass for a man versus food challenge! Lobster was nicely cooked but very small and the sauce greasy, hoping & asked for a window seat view, we were scuttled in on the left hand side as you walk in amongst the other diners, a little too quashed for my liking. Not the Big Easy experience I had imagined but ok.

Great staff, busy busy busy would recommend any of there BBQ stuff or there lobster
Steaks could use some work personally mine wasn't how I asked for it and the cut of steak wasn't what I was expecting for a restaurant of this caliber and price range
All in all great just stick to BBQ and Lobster

Friendly service and the express lunch menu was good. Food served quickly and with a smile. We did have the meals served at different times which was a little strange and my meal came before my drinks but nothing to moan about.
A. W.
A great place to grab a bite to eat in the City, the food is top quality, and nowhere else can get close. The service is excellent, and the staff always go out of their way to help and make you feel welcome, they're a real asset to the restaurant.
I would advise booking a table well in advance, as wait times on the door can be very high, due to the local demand.

A very nice place for Texan style BBQ. Tasty food and big portions. I had the slow cooked brisket which was delicious. The place has a nice American style and live music. Highly recommended!
R. A. F.
The vibe and drinks (cocktails) on happy hour are great and the venue is awesome.
But, the food was average and we struggled to get someone to serve us at the bar.
All round great for a night out in Canary Wharf, summer on the balcony would be amazing.

Great dining space. The lunch menu is great value for money.

The lobster was delicious, but the sizes of the portions are a bit disappointing.
Atmosphere and staff are great. Beautiful sunset. Great music.

Expensive and quality of food is average but service is good.

The brunch special is great value- £30 for unlimited refills of meat! Plus a bottle of prosecco, pitcher of beer or mojito is included. The food was all very tasty, especially the bbq beans and the pulled pork. One of our chicken legs was cold and quite pink so we left it, I think the food is cooked in batches so the temperature can vary. But flavour was great and most food was fine to eat. It's a very loud busy place, good fun. But not for a quiet chat! Very friendly staff also. Will definitely return.

Alisia has been the best waitress I have ever had. She was lovely. She served us on time and was so kind. We got a little drunk and she was laughing with us. She was the sweetest person and was so good to us. Will definitely be coming back. So happy with service. :)

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The higher prices are perfectly offset by taste, portion size and “re-fill” options. Great in every respect. Shoutout to Alex, whose service was exceptional.

Great food, lovely band. And amazing service from Franserco. He is so funny and checked up on us.....

Had a great time with my daughter. It's my birthday we had lots of Lovely food. 👍

Amazing food, with very friendly staff. The lobsters where succulent and the lobster roll was divine! The portions matched perfectly with the price. A lot of decorations making the place very scenic and interesting to be in. Would definitely recommend to go out with friends or on a date. Can get quite loud at towards the evening though due to the large bar area.

Super: very kind staff and delicious food. From the terrace you have a nice view on the Channel and London's skyscapers
T. H.
Banging (great) food at reasonable prices, try it out!!
A. C.
Really great place, can feel american atmosphere, with a lot of free space, not usual english squeezed tables next to each other. Also they do 1ltr pint of brew👍

Another fantastic night, brilliant seat, brilliant entertainment, delicious food. Spot on! Thank you! Shout out to Vincenzo who made our night!

Decided to share my opinion. Always had a great evening. Nice and attentive staff. Favourite Big Easy side. Will be back.

Great Service and team! I had to wait for a friend to arrive, to which he was quite late and the girls at the reception were amazing, super friendly, attentive and understanding. There was also a slight mishap with ordering too much food by accident and the waiter and the manager Angelo were fantastic and helped out straight away! Would definitely come back!
Thank you,
Sophia

Big Easy CW welcome back, fab food, lovely staff and perfect setting (even outside)

Service was great, our waiter Ciurlo was brilliant. Wine was nice as was food
J. L.
Food is great but just have to make sure that you make reservation in advanced as you can potentially wait in a queue for 1.5 hours. Love the food.
C. F.
It was a nice vibe, loads of food. My only issue was frozen mojito tasted like frozen lemon juice no alcohol.. I even had to ask for mint. Floor slippery if you are in heals.
A. M.
Nice atmosphere, food is good, I wouldn't say amazing, their service is good as well. Surely worth trying but I wouldn't be a regular.
Beef brisket is nice and tender and all the grilled meat is of a good quality. I just think they can do with a more organised management.
J.
Good food and live music!
BBQ, Lobster, Steak...
Pro tip: Go on Tuesday; unlimited shrimps
What more to say?
Would recomend for a casual dinner!
A. F.
Bit steep, but the thanksgiving menu had the best turkey I've ever had in my life.
A. T.
Always busy, good crowd and music, good for post work drinks, food was ok nice options, I would recommend the rips and pork, steak and lobster are very mediocre, other options in London better for those, desserts were disappointing. Staff very friendly and attentive.
M. G.
This place is super nice, the interior is stylish and you got a lot of cool menu options. I can imagine this place is great for crowds, specially their boozy brunch option. Only four stars because the food was nothing special and the service could have been faster. Go there in a group and enjoy the experience!
Had: Lobster Mac'n'Cheese

Standard American food, largely meat based but nothing special to write home about. They need to sort out the outside heat lamps too, was freezing when I was there.

Myself and my partner went here for a late lockdown birthday meal. We had a really lovely server she was amazing very good quality service and even had a good little chat and laugh. We enjoyed the food and drinks only complaint would be that depending on where you are sitting won't really feel the little heaters they have at the top of where you are sitting but then again we went when it was cold and windy so to each their own. Over all really amazing service from our waitress and would happily go again.
A. K.
In a nutshell: good food, nice decor, prices ok HOWEVER the service fee was quite high considering the service we got from a rather rude waiter. We had to ask them twice to fix the mistakes in our order and, while splitting the bill, we've been told that we have to calculate everything ourselves. So yes, not bad but I ate better in more pleasant and customer friendly restaurants.

Great value for money, lovely staff and vibe, great views from the terrace

Lovely food as always. Disappointed that we were not allowed to add another guest for a birthday celebration. We booked for 5 people but had a last minute guest we wanted to add. When we were seated , it was a table for 6 people and was set for that amount. Also they ran out of steak which half of our party wanted. Will be back , hopefully soon and hope they sort out their problems.
S. M.
Was ok. Chips very fluffy, salad was decent, lobster roll tasty, but not much lobster even though it cost more than 1/2 a lobster. The mussels were a bit too salty.

I came to celebrate my birthday and while waiting for my friend to arrive, the hostess at the entrance said that since I arrived and checked in for the table (if you arrive 15 mins after your booking they will take away your table), she told me that my time had started already and I had 2 hours for the table then we would have to leave. I came here to have a good time and not look at my watch counting the minutes. You’re constantly reminded that you have 2 hours and then you get kicked out, waiters keep telling everyone and the hostesses are going around checking as well.. On the other hand it’s a really great place ! Canary Wharf station is really close by and you can easily spot the restaurant from outside. There is a lot of choices to eat and drink. Our waitress was really friendly and there was a good ambiance with the live music. Cocktails are good and food was tasty (but a bit expensive). I highly recommend the banana pie for dessert ! Just AMAZING !
D. F.
Nice place, but found table staff to be a bit lazy with cutlery as eating lobster, got our main with our starter?? Bit of a conveyer belt sadly even though it cost £160 for 2.
K. Y.
Amazing decor and setting. Equally amazing and delicious food particularly the shrimp and bbq chicken. The service is quick and effective. Always my go to place in Canary Wharf. Thank you Big Easy for a lovely dinning experience

Great staff great blues music.and temperature check at entrance. And happy hour 4-7

This place hits the spot for a southerner missing home. Obviously it's a bit kitsch, and I wouldn't vouch for their sweet tea (peach flavor and a bit weak tbh) but the bottomless brunch is an excellent way to spend a weekend morning or afternoon. Ribs, pulled pork, proper American style baked beans, coleslaw, and drinks, all bottomless = amazing deal. Book the Canary Wharf location with outside table over the water for holiday vibes. 🌷🤠🥳
A. C.
Really great place, can feel american atmosphere, with a lot of free space, not usual english squeezed tables next to each other. Also they do 1ltr pint of brew👍

Decent food, Prawns are nice. Really good customer service, nice location and atmosphere. Love the cocktails at happy hour £4 can't go wrong!!

Have been here many time but today the food was exceedingly fresh and the service was amazing especially from Giuseppe - thank you xxx

Super tasty crispy calamari, great meaty options. Beautiful venue, friendly staff and nice selection of cocktails. Live music as well! I like to coming back here, always great service

Its OK. The first and last time we would go there. Food OK - nothing special. Far too loud for 5pm! Couldn't have a conversation.
C. F.
Throughly enjoyed our night here! Atmosphere was spot on, food was lovely! Only downside was there wasn't enough staff we had to keep calling someone over to order drinks food and ask for cutlery, but the drinks went down a treat! Will definitely be back!
W.
Nice food, especially if you like lobster.
