Reviews of Bill's Victoria Restaurant
L. P.
My first visit and won't be the last. Everything tasted great, the staff were really on the ball. Could see me needing another menu from across the restaurant and just walked past without me even needing to ask. Had quite a few fussy eaters and all the food came out correctly. All tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. The only reason any food would have been left is because of full bellies. The calamari was delicious and my fish pie was perfect. If you thinking of visiting Bill's you won't be disappointed!

As you walk into Bill's, it has a wonderful ambiance and beautiful decor. And then you get to the food, which is exceptional. I had the Beetroot and Goats Cheese Risotto for the main which was delicious, and I very much enjoyed the starters of Halloumi Fries, Stone Baked Bread and the extremely excellent Chicken Skewers! They were worth admission into Bill's alone. And the desert of Bill's Flowerpot, which is a cheesecake in a chocolate pot with chocolate soil, was divine. One of the best Cheesecakes I've ever eaten and would highly recommend. Lovely rich taste and gorgeous to look at.
Only issues come in regards to the service. It was my first visit, whereas my friend who accompanied me has been to several different Bill's, and has never had any issues until this Victoria branch. As we were eating there was at least 3 different flies that were constantly buzzing around, and typically, whenever we tried to inform someone the flies had scarpered, only to return when staff not present. The first member of staff informed shrugged, unsure what to do. The second told us he would inform the manager. We called another gentleman over, who happened to be the manager, who said that it was something that never happens here and didn't really do anything? But we called him over a second time where, thankfully, the flies had decided to stay put so could be observed. He offered to move us, but we had finished our meal by that point, but as I wanted the delicious desert I accepted to be moved. He explained it was the (January?) weather that was attracting the flies, but did come to us a while later and said they had closed that table off, as strangly it seemed to be the only table receiving these visitations. He very graciously discounted the meal on account of this.
Overall, I find the service mixed but they did right at the end, but the food, particularly Bill's Flowerpot cheesecake, is exceptional so would recommend to people to try.

Food was just too average and there were too many mistakes for me to recommend this place.
Arrival was very good. We walked in and we’re greeted by the host who asked how our weekend had been so far and showed us to the table.
Asked if coffee could be made with oat milk he said it was fine. After ordering our drinks they took 20 mins to arrive.
When the coffee arrived I asked if it was definitely with oat milk and the girl said yes it was. When I drank it it definitely tasted like actual milk, confirmed by dining partner. We checked with our waiter who took it away to double check. It was milk and they remade it but on the bill charged us for both! Food arrived cold and also had to be remade like it had been sitting on the side.
Staff were pleasant but all in all I would not return due to mistakes.

Nice place with friendly staff. Great selection beers and cocktails. Food is good too whether you eat meat or you're vegetarian/vegan.
D. C.
The gentleman who was serving originally was a gem, he was singing quietly to himself when serving, wish he just gave us a performance as he sounded good. Really great service and booking a table was easy, the place was busy too so glad I did. Didn't affect the great quality food or the quick and accurate service we received. Photos speak for themselves, food was amazing. Something down on the plave, wish there was a better choice of deserts. The ambience was nice and I feel the prices really are fair for the quality you're getting.

I just googled British Restaurants around me and it was a quite good surprise. Great staff and the food (MC cheese) was delicious. The price was ok for London, around 20£ dish + pint of beer. I do recommend if you are in this area...
J. F.
I like Bill’s atmosphere, and the food is so tasty! They have a nice menu with a lot of different options. Their restaurants are cozy and well decorated. I love that! Staff are friendly.

Came here for breakfast on one day and returned for lunch the following day. Breakfast experience was positive, with a nice coffee. Service was hit and miss on the lunch visit, asked to sit inside....took me to a table outside...waited a while for my order to be taken and to pay the bill too. Food was nice on both visits. Would give 3.5 stars if I could.

I was served by a lovely lady (Henrieta)today, who couldn’t have been more attentive to me and my family at the bar, she listened to all our needs and put a smile on all our faces. She understood the severity of my son who has a nut allergy and assisted me through this. Will definitely be coming back. Food was amazing too! Such a lovely experience.

First visit to the restaurant, despite working in the area for four years. Really loved my visit for breakfast; the meal was fantastic and was quick to the table.
Atmosphere was lovely; chilled and relaxed so perfect for a Friday morning.
The staff were very friendly, easy to approach and very attentive. Got some very solid recommendations on which items to go for on the breakfast menu.
Will definitely be swinging back to the restaurant for future breakfasts.
Z. A.
The food was lovely and arrived quickly, with portion sizes absolutely worth the price (only £12). Our drinks took a while to arrive but when a waitress noticed she was quick to offer us some water while we waited. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and made our meal even more enjoyable. When we asked for the bill it arrived in less than 5 minutes unlike some other places I have eaten at which was perfect for us as we were in a slight rush to go and see a musical afterwards.
S. I.
Slow service, as it was very busy but food was hot, fresh and tasty.
M. A.
Considering how busy they were on Sunday morning this was an overall very good experience.
Delicious breakfast
Friendly waiter
Water topped up throughout
Reasonable enough price.
Pleased with our quieter table for two in the corner
Improvers:
Drinks arrived pretty late - half way through meal.
Dining host was obviously under some pressure, a warmer welcome would have been nice.
S. S.
Stumbled across this restaurant & was able to walk in without reservation. Very vibrant atmosphere, beautiful decoration inside. Meal was lovely, well presented & good size portion. Only negative is that we say for quite some time without a member of staff approaching us (40mins)to check if we wanted anything else.... Eventually we had to approach them & request the bill. Would still revisit.
K. M.
I had salad avacoda was lovely good service and lively place to eat. I would eat here again
J. C.
First visit to this Bills restaurant, although we have eaten at others. The food and service were first rate and as good as always, although I would prefer a wider range of beers. The staff were friendly and efficient and we didn't have to wait long for our food despite it being quite busy. We'd happily eat here again.
s. w.
Super convenient for pre theatre dining as just a short walk from both the Apollo theatre for Wicked or Victoria Palace for Hamilton.
Great menu with lots of choice to suit most tastes. Our server was really knowledgeable when asked questions on dishes, wine etc. He was also attentive, topping up glasses with water and wine.
We will certainly looking to revisit soon.
G. P.
I love Bills! Very busy but they managed to squeeze us in without a booking and took our order quickly so we could order from the breakfast menu. Eggs royale was delicious and waiter was friendly and attentive.
V. V.
Very special atmosphere, friendly staff and great service!
T. H.
What a pleasure, greeted by a smiling face at the door, shown to a table immediately given time to take off coats then asked if ready to order drinks. Perused the menu and ordered our meals and before we knew it were tucking into our starters excellent eggs Royal followed by mains, each even better than the starter so,we had to have the delicious desserts and were not disappointed. Thank you one and all for a wonderful time spent in your establishment.
J. V.
Beautiful restaurant, loads of options on the menu, tasty food, big portions and friendly staff. I had not been in this particular place before and I loved it. Will be back soon.
S.
Staff are particularly lovely here.
Food is great, Bill's is always a winner for us. Sheltered from the rain in the little covered mall, sitting outside in the mall isnt so picturesque (no fault of the restaurant) but the interior of the restaurant is lovely. Convenient position near Victoria station.
Recommend the burgers, cocktails and the warm chocolate brownie.
M. V.
Very nice place for a Breakfast.
Nice staff and delicious Smoothie and braekfast 😋 10/10
S. W.
Full English Breakfast only served until 11.30 a.m. it was satisfactory, but could only buy a large bottle of water which I ended up leaving there, because I couldn't carry it. Service was reasonable. Didn't have to book.
C. O.
I've had mediocre experiences at other branches but was quite impressed here. The waitresses were very warm and friendly, not the sort of thing you always get in central London. The food was delicious, lots of variety, and reasonably priced. Enjoyed dining here very much, keep it up.
L. W.
Anna was a kind and awesome waitress and the food was great with a reasonable price.
c. r.
Been to Bill's on a couple of occasions and I've always been impressed, both with the quality of the food and the service, which didn't change on my last visit. The restaurant has also done a good job of making you feel safe, giving the climate, with track and trace, as well as hand sanitizers on each table and digital menu's.
T. W.
I was looking for somewhere to eat as I was staying in the area on my own. It was a fairly busy evening for a Tuesday but they found me a seat outside. The service was very friendly and attentive, but very slow in getting around to take my order, the waiter even commented "you've been waiting patiently".
I chose to order from the set menu and was pleasantly surprised. The calamari with chili were delicious, and the minute steak with rosemary fries was excellent. Really surprised for a chain and for the price, you can't really ask for better.
M.
Had fantastic time, truly exceeded my expectations. Massive thank you to Joanna, if I type the name correctly, the host, who really lifted the experience up with her friendly attitude! Thank you Joanna!
M. G.
We ordered and then shortly after was told there were issues in the kitchen which meant delayed food. We had tickets to a play so the staff tried to ensure our food was served as quickly as possible (once the issues were sorted). We had our food which was nice but rushed. No offer of a reduction in price as an apology or some other form of recompense. I appreciate the staff tried to accommodate us. But overall my experience has mildly put me off from going back to that particular branch anytime soon.
S. Y.
Food was spot on but the service at this particular branch was very poor. Hearing the front of house swear as walking past customers because they were stressed was unprofessional. I understand when it's busy staff become stressed but this shouldn't show in front of paying customers. I suspect they were short staffed but it made for an unpleasant environment.
J. W.
Good food, great prices. Service was okay from a friendly waitress, glasses a little grimy from sitting in the dishwasher.
U. H.
Service was excellent food was as good as any bills I've dined in before. Gluten-free pancakes went down well with my partner. Interior was okay
D. A.
Our first visit at Bills..greeted by a very friendly gentleman who showed us to our table upstairs...which we were glad of as a bit noisy downstairs. Our food ,drinks and service were excellent...and I think good value for money..thank you Bills...we had a lovely time and we will be back
m. h.
Great variety of food which was well presented, friendly staff. Sanitiser on each table 👍 Slightly overcrowded for my comfort, but not a deal breaker. Would recommend and would go again
l.
Bills classic British food served fast and with an excellent service. We tried the pancakes and Burguers and were delicious. Price wise it's London average, not expensive but not cheap, mains around £9/£10. Comfort food in a relaxed place. Family friendly as well since they can accommodate prams.
J. C.
This was the best delicious desert I had in ages! I highly recommended you visit! beautiful atmosphere and friendly service. Great value. JC
M. R.
Delicious food here, I had the Chicken Green Curry and my friend had the Butter Chicken Burger both were delicious and good portion sizes! The staff here are fabulous, friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful Strawberry Storm cocktail as well. Brilliant atmosphere, very busy but not cramped...upstairs seating is the best!
L. C.
Looked great to eat before theatre so stopped for lunch food was disappointing and the woman at the bar was rude when we sent back a red wine being too acidic. But waiter service was spot on.
p.
Very convenient to Victoria stations. Good menu choice. Delicious food. Quick service. Friendly staff. Only drawback was background music being a bit too loud. All in all, excellent.
S. R.
Visited for a quick snacks while waiting for a friend at Victoria station. Our waited seemed disappointed that we haven’t choose mains as well and since than he looked like he’s faking his smile.
Our prawn cocktail wasn’t very good, I could say tasteless, you could feel just a flavour of sauce.
Our waiter didn’t even let us finish our food before he asked to clean the table.
I understand that maybe we were not the best guests ordering full meal, but come on... it was empty after Xmas time.
Not a very great experience, but maybe not a good time and place. I’ve been in Bills at Soho and all was excellent so maybe we had no luck...
I. K.
Our experience was kind a interesting, as we understood walk-ins are not really acceptable at this restaurant, while they had so many free tables and no reservations came later on to none of them!? And outside closed at 8pm? Way too early while the restaurant still open till 11pm!! And you can still make a booking online, but even with a booking you need to wait for a table at the bar!! Sound like a joke, isn’t it?
Giving a 4* start review just because our waiter save the situation, Enzo was really nice and attentive, surprisingly find a table for us in 5 min, really appreciated that and very good customer service! Food was also delicious, thank you!!
S. N.
Henrietta was wonderful! Thank you hun xx
In terms of the place. As above ^ Great staff.
I'm glad we sat outside but I wish the place would get some outdoor heaters. Thankfully, we were given some lovely blankets. Chairs are really comfy.
Seats outside definitely top inside where the music (why does Bill's have DJs now is too loud. Just general music is fine.
We ordered the classic burger. I wish they wouldn't ration the sauce as much. Could use more. Risotto is good too as are the vegan tart.
Nice place to book because the prices are extremely reasonable. I wish they would diversify the cocktail menu.
D. D.
Went in with my family, and had a great time! Was served by a lovely girl called Ardetta. Her service was personable and timely with a great smile. The food was great!! I recommend the chicken burger🤤🤤
C. I.
Friendly staff, always accomodating. A little gem in the middle of the busy Victoria station neighborhood. Great atmosphere, always buzzing and energetic.
T. L.
Good food. Polite service. Nice atmosphere.
Worth a visit, especially prior to travelling back through Gatwick.
d. d.
Nice place with a good vibe to it. We went for the lunch 2 course set menu and it’s worth it my mushroom starter was amazing and the minute steak perfectly cooked . Pancakes for desert just what you need. service was good and attentive .i will definitely go back again 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
C. D.
Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Food was served fast and very tasty
O. F.
Great food and staff were really friendly. It's just next to my office so I'll definitely return
L.
Lovely restaurant, speedy service and delicious food.
Great location in the heart of Victoria. I won't mind lunching there again next time i'm in the area.
D. O.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and I went back several times because you can hang out alone here and enjoy the great service and food. They have a lovely terrace too. Whether you're vegetarian or meat lover, you will be spoilt for choice.
A. J.
Good service and designable place, the portion is really small with high price, waitress always look after your needs every 10-15 mins, we had a great breakfast time here.
P. W.
Great spot for a pre or post theatre bite! Eclectic design mixed with great food, drinks and super friendly staff make this a top spot for me! The menu is really as eclectic as the decor ... With something for everyone! I loved the jackfruit salad ... Tasty but healthy! And the mock tails were plenty exotic too. It does get busy so recommend booking.
C. M.
Lovely upstairs waiter on Tuesday around 6.30pm. Portions small, set menu wasn't great value, although £10 off wine was good.
E. C.
A nice dining place with a beautful bar. Had a refreshing drink at the bar while waiting for our seats. Staff were welcoming and service was great. The steak with mushroom sauce was really tasty.
S. S.
Epic halloumi burger! Would recommend to request for a table upstairs as it's far quieter, and has nice views. Ambience is fantastic! A little attitude from the hostess when we arrived, but our server was wonderful.
C. S.
Great food and a neat atmosphere. Not the most authentic British food or anything, but it’s a reliably good meal and the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had.
M. F.
Breakfast was really great, staff were very friendly. Will call in on our next visit.
A. C.
Great location - really pretty restaurant. Bill's is a chain restaurant, but not a bad one at that. We were seated promptly and service was fast and polite. Food arrived pretty quickly for a lunch time feed, which is good for theatre-goers. I had the buttermilk chicken burger, which was nice but nothing to write home about flavour-wise. All the ingredients were good quality, however.
S. D.
Lovely place , nice atmosphere, good food , quiet music , excellent service.
Strongly recommend.
L. B.
Super fun time and the most excellent and attentive service.
L. B.
We had a lovely breakfast here the service was great and the atmosphere is really pleasant.
S. P.
Amazing service and nice food. Very convenient location too. Just thought it was very cold although seating inside.
E. C.
A London classic, Bill's offers the quintessential English breakfast in a charming cafe-style setting. The interior is furnished with smart and quirky pieces, making you feel as if you've been swept up into a cozy cottage. We made a reservation for early breakfast, and when we arrived, there was a good number of tables that were filled already.
All of the dishes are decently prices, the portions are huge, and the plating of the dishes was beautiful. The traditional English breakfast was a perfect sampling of eggs, baked beans, bacon, and a number of other small breakfast items. We also ordered a decadent stack of pancakes topped with berries and dusted with powdered sugar, and they were the perfect amount of salty and sweet - all while being light and fluffy.
Overall, considering the price, food, and ambience, Bill's is high on the list of restaurants I'd recommend in London. You can definitely count on leaving the restaurant stuffed with a delicious and cozy meal, and I'll be back to try lunch or dinner here.
M. W.
Staff very courteous and professional. Food good and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again.
J. P.
I've been to a fair few Bill's as my wife loves it. The food is always good and this branch is no exception.
This is has smart modern interior, perhaps lacking a little cosiness. I did, however, find the building very cold. Our first location down the aisle had an incredibly cold breeze. After moving by the window, the breeze had gone but it was still chilly. Warmed up after a few glasses of the bargain tempranillo :)
L. T.
Good selection of food. Great vegan options. Customer service spot on and blankets available when it gets a little chilly eating outside.
A. B.
Very reasonably priced considering the location. I had a burger and the truffle cheese fries which were incredible. The drinks were good quality as well. Definitely will come back, the only thing is that I would recommend sitting outside as sometimes the music can be a bit loud inside!
A. E.
BEST BREAKFAST EVER! I really love everything about this place! The staff is so nice and lovely and THE FOOD is just incredibly good, I will definitely come back very soon!
N. G.
Good food , nice people
M.
My family and I have been there last Wednesday in the afternoon for our first time and I have to say that place was a such lovely place, although the restaurant was quite busy we've been served quicker than we believed. Then, I'd like to thank in a special way a waiter, his name was Enzo, which he dedicated most of his time explaining us and suggesting us what dish was more suitable for us to eat as that was our first time in a Bill's restaurant ever. So, thanks for all and thank you Enzo for being so kind and funny with my children, they really appreciated that.
J. T.
Looked like a great place for breakfast on our trip to London, so decided to give Bill's a try.
The ambience and service was excellent, unfortunately the food was just average.
C. M.
Plenty of food options and space inside but service can be a little slow. Reasonably well priced considering the area - would recommend more for breakfast options than dinner.
L. L.
We visited bills Victoria resterant after seeing Wicked the show. Couldn't have picked a better place to round off the day. We booked online and sat at the bar till our table was ready. The staff were amazing. Henrietta who served us was so nice and made sure we were looked after. Wonderful bubbly personality. The food was amazing and Henrietta even made my daughter feel special for her 21st birthday. Thank you all .. And not forgetting the DJ who also needs credit the music was fab would definitely recommend this place
B. B.
Surprisingly slow service, on a Thursday afternoon, with most of the tables empty.
The welcome was great, but down hill from there, fairly long time before we were asked about water for the table and drinks, these arrived, but then a wait to be order.
In the end we went for garlic bread and calamari, and a portion of chips.the garlic bread was really good, with a muffin like texture.
Another wait to get the bill.
Perhaps it was just an off day on service otherwise this would have been a good visit
N. D.
Great staff! Lovely decor, atmosphere, food and service. Would recommend!
S. F.
I enjoyed a drink and snack with a friend on the terrace. Good spot but I didn't appreciate the fact my server asked if I wanted my change back after 12.5 per cent discretionary service charge had already been applied to the bill.
M. F.
Pleasant restaurant with friendly staff, a good atmosphere during the day and good variety on the food menus.
s. M. l. r.
Staff very polite especially meliza (philopino) origin made us feel comfortable and recommend what was good on the menu to eat .
Would deffinetly recommend
A. S.
Good food, good service what more can u want?!
S. A.
Contrary to some of the negative reviews, we had a great meal. We went for the set menu (and got a free passion fruit spritzer) - 3 courses for two and drinks, and we got change from £50 - best value meal we've had whilst visiting London.
The waiters were attentive, the food came quick and it was really tasty. Often with set menus, you get smaller portions but not here.
The place had a nice buzz and everybody seemed to be having fun.
Only thing I don't agree with, is the 12.5% service charge on the bill which said in brackets 'optional' - it doesn't seem optional it's when added to your bill.
As it happens, the service charge was in the region of the tip I would have left but still prefer to decide myself what to tip.
M. H.
Great breakfast, nice staff and amazing location! I'm definitely coming back.
A. W.
Service ok initially but once main meal cleared from table no-one came back to check if we required anything further. We had to find someone to serve us. Some one came out but only to talk to her fellow colleagues who seemed to be having their meal too. Food is good.
A. C.
Excellent service as always. Waitress remembered my colleague from a previous and that she required a gluten free menu.
S. W.
Mixed service however this is not how I remembered the quality and service at this Bill's I visited a few years ago. Firstly, the waiter's service was good - he was constantly serving us and found that we were waited on a little too much which I did not fully enjoy. I was a bit difficult and asked for nutritional info and the waitering staff were super helpful in this sense.
The food arrived very quick however the fries were not that warm and I ordered the naked burger which ended up being the tiniest chicken and a lettuce. No side salad. I was disappointed with the food but didn't want to make a scene as I had taken a while to order but I did think it was overpriced and not the standard I know of Bill's. I find Bill's very average and sometimes it is hit and miss. Not the best experience and will most likely not visit for a while or go to this Bill's again any time soon.
j. r.
Delicious food, great ambiance..
T. W.
I've been to Bill's in several locations and they never let me down always lovely food and great service
M. J.
Celebrating my and a friend's big birthdays together with my cousin.
Manager and team were great - swapped my meal when I felt it was a little too well done with no fuss.
We were treated very well and manager was attentive checking everything was alright.
Will definitely be going back. Thank you 😊👍
L.
They asked about allergies right away when we arrived, it made me feel safe wich is so inportant if you have bad allergies! The food came with "allergies" - marked stick. They really care about you in this restaurant, the food itself was also really good. Would come again!
S. O.
Arrived in a quiet time for lunch, got seated, waited over 15 min for someone to come over, no one did, had to find waiter, he apologised. Ordered drinks, lady forgot one, apologised. Did not ask about any allergies, did not offer any specials, did not seem to care too much. Ordered veg risotto, no spoon provided, dish had few spinach leaves, mushroom and poached egg on the top, lovely presentation. After finishing main dish, I was brought a spoon (?). Desert has its own spoon so cutlery did not make sense. It feels that they are either very understaffed or new trainees working do not know what they are doing. Would not dine here again.
J. o.
Had the 6/10 gnocchi and a 5/10 chicken Caesar salad in this well located Bill's. I've eaten better at other Bill's and feel it's a tad overpriced for near Wetherspoons' quality of brasserie cooking. The waitress was lovely and attentive, however.
C. G.
Fantastic location, great crowd, tasty vegetarian dishes. The restaurant has lush foliage and a laid back and cosy, yet upmarket and luxurious decoration, combining wooden floors effectively with glass panels. The food is wonderfully diverse, fresh, and beautifully presented by attentive and friendly waiters. I rate this place at the same level as Dishoom, yet without the wait. An absolute stunner of a restaurant and I would give 6 stars if I could. Tip: Try the vegetarian Wellington.
L. B.
Sunday morning is a busy time for Bills. Helpful staff and good atmosphere
R. S.
We only visited for dessert, which was very good. Waiter offered to take our drinks order.. and promptly forgot. Realised his error when we had finished, and apologised.
J. L.
Amazing food and very good service, will definitely go again next time I visit London
S. K.
Miso Salmon with fried aubergine, spinach and coconut rice. Absolutely amazing! Great service, lovely location
l. m.
Great food caters for all ages we enjoyed a pre theatre meal here. Recommend Booking in advance .

Very quiet on a Saturday morning! I really like the breakfast menu at Bill's, always cooked well and is very tasty. Staff are nice and service was on point. Would highly recommend!
D. W.
My daughter took me for my birthday, was great.
I think Marcel is the name of the really friendly helpful man who was working there.
S. W.
A bit of a long wait for our food as we were on the cusp of the breakfast/lunch switch over. But it was worth the wait, food delicious (avocado was a little too cold, but hey wth) the odd flat white (which wasn't really but was still a good coffee). To improve: 1. Train the barista properly, 2. Communicate any delays promptly. Otherwise a good brunch was had by all.
N. B.
A very popular restaurant with a great selection of food at reasonable prices for London. Being busy the service was a little slow at times.
L. H.
Had a lovely evening last night. Tasty food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Top marks to Ray the manager who was so accommodating of us. Highly recommended

A grand option in this area. A lovely Malbec, I had the plaice and it was a good bit of fish. I'll not get the chestnut mushrooms on the side next time, it was a mystery what they were cooked in, either way too much oil, or water, or watery oil, either way just no. Lovely service though and an upstairs bit so you can look at all the people beavering about outside. A better espresso martini than the nearby competitor that has a name beginning with the same first letter.
R. L.
Nice food, reasonably priced & friendly, helpful staff.

Omg!!! Bill's seafood pie is soooo good!! So happy we stopped here for lunch. Not only is the food good but the service is great the decor is inviting and the music is festive..I highly recommend this restaurant!
a. S.
Had a mimosa and a king prawn risotto. The risotto was delicious, the Mimosa was good although the alcohol they used for it is not the best. Prices are quite reasonable and the service is great!
H. A.
Nice food, great place. Friendly staff and service.
B. C.
Good food & service, although venue rather noisy, music etc , but then it was Saturday afternoon.
T. F.
Good service and pleasant staff. Good food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Breakfast meeting. Interesting menu. Food was good. Next time would prefer the sauce on the side as it made my toast all soggy.
C. N.
Friendly and efficient staff, lovely food. Couldn't ask for more. Will go back again.

Wonderful place and a wonderful Christmas dinner

Went Friday Night with my Partner, was a lovely place to be it was busy so seemingly very popular.
We had 3 courses about 5 or 6 Cocktails, bottle of water that is given when you sat down and there tip all came to only £97.14, which for London is brilliant value. They were excellent portions to my partner couldn't eat all here main course.
Brilliant place to go would Highly recommend to anyone.
N.
Great place excellent food good service nice decor definitely worth the visit
P. F.
Good value, great food and superb service. Highly recommended

Macaroni cheese had been sitting there for a while ie, since lunch time I suspect. I ordered at 5pm.
A. M.
The food was quite good, I would go again.

Had some coffee and desserts. Tableware could be cleaner but overall we had a good time and good food.
F. S.
Excellent services for breakfast; kids menu is super reasonable and good quantity. Highly recommended for an easy family fare that pleases everyone
M. B.
Very comfortable and relaxing spot with plenty of tasty dishes.
D. R.
Good food good atmosphere with efficient and pleasant staff.

Considering its position, hardly gushing with atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the side dish of chips quite delicious.
J. C.
Great breakfast, nice staff, reasonable prices.

Amazing food and great brunch. The service is fast and they are proper.

A great retro looking restaurant... we went in for breakfast ... chose the Bills Breakfast with black pudding... couldn’t fault it it was great, hit the spot perfectly .. certainly a return visit when back in the area.
L. M.
Dinner at Bills tonight was lovely made extra special by the service we received from our lovely waiter Vincenzo - he is a gem.

In a sudden 1 day return trip by national express to London from swansea I needed some food. Before the return.
Walked past thought they won't let me in as I wasn't looking the best nor had I booked.
I felt underdressed but that was just me. I was made very welcome served by staff that were all smiling even when not dealing with customers.
As for the food......
WOW it was amazing. And to top it off they are continuing the eat out to help out which I wasn't aware of when I went in.
When I return to london I will be visiting again. Next time with my wife.
R. A.
Food was great, and the waiting staff were really nice, but I always have delays at this Bills, great for a leisurely lunch but not good if you're in a rush.
j. r.
08:30 breakfast, great server who worked really hard but was on her own. Not everyone was understanding.
G. T.
This restaurant was so cold. Both my guest and I were freezing so had to keep our jackets on. Food was reasonably good. I had the gluten free fish pie and it was very nice. The apple crumble was really poor quality and at £6.50 per serving I expected it to be delicious. The waitress was very nice and friendly. I would visit here again on a warmer evening minus the dessert.
M. S.
I’ve always loved the breakfasts at Bill’s and this one didn’t disappoint. loved everything to perfection
H. F.
Nice place, nice prices and special waiters.
C. A.
Unfortunately everyone raves about Bills, I found it mediocre and the staff was a bit unfriendly very abrupt , we had side plates given to us and it was dirty so sadly, i would say it's okay, overpriced and mediocre 😳
A. S.
Booked here with lovely Anastasia, the Christmas coordinator for our wedding anniversary lunch. We were very happy with both the food and the service. Anastasia made sure we were looked after and our waitress, Amber was very helpful and thoughtful.
We were made to feel very important n welcome.
Will definitely come here for another celebration. .
M. J.
Food was lovely, coffee was burnt though. Quick service.
T. K. F.
I have rib eye steak there. Ordered medium but the first plate came was raw. And they took it back and recook it, unfortunately it wouldn't work and came burn outside and raw inside. They gave me the new one but that's overdone. Don't want to waste food again and take it. The steak eaten came watery, seems they either cook the steak frozen or didn't rest it before serving or both. So the flavor was gone with water. Anyway, food isn't great . But the service is good, staffs are polite and kind before serving and the incident happened, so I didn't feel too bad. they just need a better chef however.
M. B.
This place is actually quite nice. But the service is pretty strange.
I was asked if I have any allergies, which I confirmed. I said that I have visited before and there is no problem. Still they insisted of making a drama and I had 3 people around me while ordering a simple breakfast.
Anyways, food was good.
P. H.
We got two bills at exactly the right time as we didn't have a booking and there was a group of six of us. We were lucky and was able to be seated straight away. Although the menu was not extensive there was a good choice of different things. And we were there in time to order from the set menu as well. All of the staff were very good very attentive and quick to respond to any requests we had. The only negative I would give it his there we ordered some lemonade for the children and the glasses were not anywhere close to full and when you were paying over £2.50 a glass I would expect it to be a full glass.
N. B.
We like the Bill's group of restaurants having eaten a number of times at the original site in Lewes and at other outlets. The rest of the chain is not in the same league, but the food is still good. This restaurant is not far from Victoria station and we have been in London a couple of times in the space of 10 days, choosing to catch a later train to avoid the rush and therefore wanting somewhere to eat. The first time we chose Brown's and this time Bill's, Brown's is slightly more expensive but the two are on a par with each other. I will say that although the staff at Bill's were very friendly we felt as though we had seen the whole staff during our meal, either taking orders, delivering the food or checking that 'everything was alright'. Only a minor comment, the place is still good and the food was fine.
T. H.
Very nice people and the food is delicious!
A. D. S. J. B.
First class service from Emanuel and the lady who greeted us at the door (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) - thank you! Gorgeous restaurant from a décor point of view - just so much that's eye-catching. Lovely ambience despite CoVid imposed distancing, sanitising and the taking of temperatures. Delicious lunch with fresh and tasty ingredients. The round of applause, the bows and curtsies go to ZARA, though - she's just a bundle of delightful enthusiasm and cheerfulness. She should be bottled and sold to the masses. She added the 'it' factor to our lunch! Thank you one and all 💞
L.
Rob was our server and he was lovely. Very attentive and polite. Thanks Rob 😊 the food however could improve, where were the fish and chips? Fries were old didn't taste fresh. Decor needs updating IE chairs more comfy. Westfield and Victoria menu different!!! Why? Please be consistent.
R. K.
Busy place. A bit chaotic at times. There's a server assigned to you but over time you're being served by couple of different people. They don't seem to communicate with each other so it's a little confusing for everyone 😉 Waiting area at the bar seems to be a bit disorganized. Overall not a bad experience. Most importantly food was pretty good 👍
D. M.
It's OK and I guess what you would expect in Central London from a chain. Good location, friendly helpful staff, reasonably priced but the food nothing special - my burger was burnt on the outside, pink in the middle and the cheese was wafer thin and tasteless. I was tired after a long journey and hungry so ate it without complaint - a mistake in hindsight - should have complained.
P. H.
A DECENT LUNCH
We popped in for a quick lunch today. It was mega busy, which is a really good sign! It took a while to get a table, which isn't a problem. When we got served the food came out quickly. I had a burger, my partner had a fish finger sandwich. Both were good and a good size for a lunch. A pint of beer was £5.50, which is about average for London.
Overall we were both happy, a decent meal, quick pint and out the door after an hour feeling full, cant ask for a lot more.
J. G.
Excellent Food and Service. Meliza was very helpful and friendly. Would gladly recommend 👌😋
T. M.
Service was very good. Food was good.

Food wasn't brought out all together, members of our party had to wait whilst others had to start eating.

Good food, friendly stuff
E. D.
friendly service. they serve breakfast and location is right in front of westminster cathedral. perfect for breakfast after early morning mass
N. K.
Helpful staff and delicious food with generous portions.
S. D.
Food was lovely, restaurant is nicely decorated, we weren't in any kind of rush, but service was a little slow and inattentive.
A. B.
We had a lovely lunch on Sunday!
Whilst I didn't rate my meal (Halloumi salad) my friends loved theirs - esspeically the curry which the waiter helpfully recommended - so I think I just made a poor menu choice! Loved my dessert (Eton mess)
We had a very rude waiter to begin with who became irritated when we were not ready to order. We were then served by a really nice man with a blue ponytail - he was so helpful! a credit to the restaurant
Would really recommend
J. P.
One of our favourite places for breakfast, the food is always great and good price too.
C. J.
Food was great and welcoming staff.

Friendly staff and the food was delicious
W. T.
Very delicious food set in a metropolitan area. Cozy restaurant
a.
Nice food and portion size was perfect.
R. D.
I would have liked see a more traditional menu. I was in Central London for over the period of a week and although international dishes all with garlic are OK and seem to be the normal quizine at this time, I found it difficult to find an alternative or a good vegetarian meal. Bill's did offer a couple of vehicles meals one being macaroni cheese. It would have been good to see a more inclusive menu, otherwise the service was good.
S. C.
Nice place and convenient location. Reasonable pricing and I enjoyed my food, however attentive service was lacking... I had to continuously prompt, which took the shine off the experience. However, given the other positives I may give it another go.
S. L.
We dropped in as a large group looking for brunch on a Saturday. The staff were really accomodating, helping us move tables together and entertaining our 2 year old. The food was great. However the coffee was overpriced. For breakfast everyone is a winner if you have cheap filter coffee. A small americano is not sufficient for a long brunch.
B. C.
Unfortunately not the best experience. Overcooked steak, dry fish pie and the children's meal has become the same as the small mac and cheese side dish.. As a previous fan of Bill's it was sadly disappointing. To be fair, the staff were helpful and apologetic and took the fish pie off the bill.
R. K.
This was my favorite restaurant of my 4 day trip to London! My fiance and I got a 3 course meal that came with a bottle of wine (for a little extra). It was perfect and delicious. Good service as well.
S. S.
Went for Sunday brunch at a quarter past noon with my wife. We both had Bill’s Garden Breakfast and Tea For Two (Earl Grey). Delicious combination with beautifully poached eggs, toast, mushrooms, red bell peppers, fried Halloumi cheese, and smushed avocado. Great service by Lucy. Got a table right away. Lovely decor.
F. T.
Pleasant service and food was good.
G. O.
It's Bill's. We were there because Victoria station is convenient. Enough said?
R. “. R.
This was a fun place to enjoy your meal. 22 London form the people were amazing and the menu was absolutely wonderful. The food was hot and true to form European they waited until we are ready for the food. We never felt rushed at all. The pricing is great as well as a menu selection.
V. C.
Such a delicious breakfast spot, we actually visited here twice during out stay in London! I love the location and the décor. The staff all seemed very nice and attentive. The watermelon raspberry juice was delicious, as was Bill's Breakfast and the Smashed Avocado on toast.
I. W.
Great service today (13.12.20) and lovely atmosphere. However it was a shame the eggs benedict were lukewarm (the chips were perfectly hot and crispy by contrast).
A. M.
As a birthday treat we went to Bill's and had a lovely meal. Went for 2 set meals at approx £13 each and had a nice choice. Place was busy with office workers so we had to wait. All in all good food and nice staff. Clean
N. G.
Amazing food and superb service. I will deft visit again on my next trip to London xx
B. B.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Bill's. We arrived late without a reservation and the restaurant was very busy. The hostess got us a place at the bar and in no time we were seated at a table. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was great. We'll be back for sure. Thank you.
A. A.
Excellent all round. It was packed on a Thurs lunchtime - told it'd be a 20-min wait. Very helpful staff got us a drink at the bar straight away while we waited. We were then seated at our table within 10 minutes. Food was great (same high standard that we expect from other Bill's restaurants) and service was extremely attentive.
C. M.

D. B.
Good quality food with attentive staff and a situation that allows in lots of natural light to brighten the seating area. Reasonable prices for breakfast (in central London) with nice bacon but ordinary black pudding. Some chairs a little low for people with long legs...
M. M.
Never eaten at a Bill's before. However, the experience was a good one. The food was fresh and the service was fast and efficient. The service part impressed me most considering the restaurant was full. I would go back to Bill's at another location after this experience.
h. n.
Lovely restaurant in quiet surroundings. Great choice if you looking for a place to eat close to Victoria station.
S. B.
The food was really good and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was a cozy and pleasant place to be for an evening.
M. S.
This was a nice central place to meet friends. It took a while to get a seat without a booking, but when we were seated the staff were very attentive to our needs.
The food was good, and there was a fairly decent menu on offer.
m. f.
Very nice atmosphere popped in for the pre theatre meal. service was quick and staff very helpfull and friendly they were fully booked with a queue outside. the chicken was fresh juicy and tender. Its reasonably priced, an excellent choice will be coming back for a late dinner
D. M.
A fine plate of eggs Benedict and friendly staff
V. D.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and service, tasty pancakes!
S. A.
Very friendly staff. Tables are a bit small but the foods great and affordable.
G. G.
Nice tasty brunch with good price (they need to work on the presentation of the plates, sometimes they come a bit "messy") but very nice overall. The watermelon berries juice is a must try, and the service is really friendly and quick.
S. P.
Great breakfast place right next to the station.
J. R.
First time eating here. We were seated outside and I was offered a blanket....which never materialised! Ordered our meals, and one of the selected dishes was Diablo Gnocchi which was supposed to contain king prawns and spicy sausage, however the dish contained only a few medium prawns and there wasn't any sausage in site as far as I could tell! Instead the volume of the dish was made up of cherry tomatoes and little dumplings. This meal is NOT value for money at all, at more then £10. We complained; the customer service was very good and our waiter did everything he could ensure our eating experience wasn't ruined. The other dishes we ordered - fish pie and ribs were very nice
A. M.
Really understanding Waitress of allergies and nothing too much trouble. Great food .
S. B.
Staff lovely, grandchildren really enjoyed it. Will go again when next up in the big smoke!
M. R.
I love Bills Fish Pie. A true London comfort meal.
C. S.
We normally sit at the bar area and have bar snacks which are really good and staff all very friendly.
R. S.
Found this chain today.. Excellent food and service near Piccadilly in London.. Later, quite by accident, came across a different restaurant.. Again excellent food and service BUT, a little tip here, if you don't want us to sit outside when we arrive tell us because nothing says "will you hurry up and bugger off" more than disassembling the terrace around us and stacking it up behind us.. We listened. We went elsewhere for desert
L. A. E. K. A.
Good location for a theatre night, pleasant atmosphere, good prices, excellent, friendly and expeditious service.
P. B.
Lovely food great service and attentive staff.
A. A.
Food was bland, ordered the Halloumi burger with Fries. Elderflower fizz was lovely with the crushed ice & cucumber but unfortunately as i was drinking it i felt a sharpness in the corner of my mouth, to my surprise a huge sharp chip on the glass. I showed the waitress who quickly disposed of it & replaced it... None of the staff ask if i was ok or apologise to me. Was my first experience at Bill's & i wont rush back. :(
R. F.
Really good food and friendly atmosphere
韦.
Cozy place. The steak is average..
M. D. R.
The waitress was awesome despite their lunch rush, we were able to get breakfast right at the end of the breakfast time. As always with Bill's, the food was delicious and the atmosphere very comfortable!
P.
Too expensive and they got our order wrong. Decor is vet chic and staff are friendly.
It does get a bit loud inside from the bar staff with the blender going all the time, why they can't move it to the kitchen or somewhere....
E. S.
We went to bills for a quick, healthy breakfast and that’s exactly what we got! Staff super friendly and the service was extremely fast never mind the amazing avocado toast and berry smoothie! Definitely recommend
T. B.
Lovely food, amazing cocktails. A bit pricey, but to be expected since it is based in London Victoria. Also, portions could be a little bit bigger.
M. R.
Great service and great food!
S. M.
Perfectly nice place to hangout with friends and catch-up.
Had my child with us and they were very accommodating.
Didn't eat much but they didn't mind and there was no feeling of being rushed or to move on.
k. m.
Good place to visit and really good food

Nice place, noisy, crowded. You have to wait at the bar, standing up. You have to pay if you want to drink while you wait. Nice staff. Nice food. A little bit expensive. Maybe not expensive for the area.
S. S.
Friendly and welcoming, made room for us eventhough we didnt book. Nice food and good atmosphere despite being busy. Good job thank you.
A. E. Z.
Appetizers were great, but the mains not so much. The chicken buttermilk burger was really oilly. And it's not a standard buttermilk batter. More flaky.(don't ask me what it's made of)
E. W.
The food was as wholesome as any of the others in the chain but the outside seating meant we were left alone for a long time before anyone served us. However this was solved by us being moved in the moment they realised we were cold and there was room :)
A. J.
Good service, lovely food and my favourite dessert
S. B.
Reasonably priced for a central London venue. Slow service as busy. Not bad though.
C. L.
Lovely place to eat, we could hardly believe we were in Victoria, peaceful
M. M.
We had a very nice time at Bill's today in Victoria Station! From very nice welcome to the delicious hot food! The customer service was excellent! Especially Giuseppe! Very helpfhul, friendly guy! We will be back for sure!!!
C. M.
Really good G&Ts and nice atmosphere
M. V.
Good food and tastes good .. had the jackfruit salad bowl and was yummy ... Other friends had burger, minute steak, chicken breast which was really good .... The food presentation was so cool ... Set menus also available ...
Bit expensive , one portion is sufficient for average eaters , still worth a try
S. V.
I had a dinner here! It was delicious ! I had grilled chicken with parmesan salad ! Chocolate bombe was fantastic! I have been served but Rob, he is polite and friendly gentleman! Thank you for it! Xx
M. M.
Good for a light lunch if you are near Victoria Station or after Mass at Westminster Cathedral. Nice salads. It's in the modern pedestrian precinct opposite the cathedral. There are tables outside.
S. G.
Fluffy pancakes and creamy scrambled eggs.
S. K.
Jam packed by 1pm on a Thursday. We didn't go in because we were told 10-15min wait and did not have a reservation. 3stars for being courteously told no room at the restaurant. Will adjust this review if ever we manage to sit down and eat there.
R. D.
We used it as a stopping point between Victoria rail station and the Queen's Gallery. Good lunch.
A. B.
What is this place? It's not a British restaurant, as it's got Thai on the menu. It's not not a British place, because it's got a range of meaty things on it too. It's not focusing on a few things and doing them well, because it has a large menu of marginally disappointing things. It's confused, and so will you be if you come here. Staff are nice though.
A.
Delicious food perfect service
M. M.
Food was amazing, staff were fun and friendly, even cracked a few jokes. I was expecting the burger I ordered to be small but it took me by surprise. Would go there again

Lovely atmosphere service a bit slow but overall enjoyable experience.

Delicious food with good service

Fabulous food and great service. We started with Chicken pate and calimari. The. Chicken and fish pie. Excellent food, waitress was exceptional and made brilliant recommendation for wine. Can't fault this place at all
A. M.
The food and service was great! Background music was loud enough to drown conversation (so no one was overheard) but not too loud to have to shout.
J. W.
Great place to meet friends after work. Right at Victoria station London. Great atmosphere. Food was tasty and had selections for 2 or 3 courses of set menus. Beer was good too.
A. “. C. A.
Nice lovely waitress Kim ,Cat and Shevon and all the stuff
D. V.
Great service very friendly staff whole experience was brilliant
S. B.
The order too very long and when the order was chased, we was told. The order was not processed. I love Bill's but the Victoria branch let's it down. No offer of apology or refund of any part of the meal.
Y. O.
Lovely food and great service. My seating area was a little tight but I managed.
L. J.
Visited here for the first time on Monday and was impressed with the decor food and ambience. Will definitely be going to our local restaurant in Chichester soon. Good choice of menu and reasonable prices
A. T.
Best pancakes in Victoria area. Near Victoria station
D. o.
Food was excelent, would definitely come back to this bill's
I. A.
Great food especially the mushroom sauce and great service too.
A. P.
Went for breakfast this morning with a colleague. Great service with the staff being very attentive and the food was tasty. Though a a tad expensive, it is to be expected considering the location.
C. P.
Ambience is nice but when my cooked breakfast arrived everything was cold and cold poached eggs are not very pleasant. The halloumi was also terribly over done to the point of being almost uncuttable
e. s.
A good lunch venue, good service and responsibly priced. The best butter milk chicken burger out of all of the Bills sites.
K. M.
Nice restaurant, food good, rushed service. Very time focused With the table, understandable for its location. But the last thing you want to feel is rushed at dinner!
C. F.
Has good seating outside the restaurant and has a roof as part of the centre and outdoor heaters, so very convenient.
A. R.
Great food, fast and good service
A. B.
Great service, great lunch offer for affordable price (and many options), and food quality was better than expected. Can recommend this for anyone looking for a nice and simple meal.
B. J.
Really good food, service was a little longer than I'd of expected
S. K.
Great for a slightly posher breakfast than a fry up. The veggie options are particularly tasty.
Staff are very friendly.
B. T.
Breakfast was great. Waiters are very attentive. Shouldn't ask customers, "how's your food," when they're mouthful of food though.
G. W.
It's a Bill's you know what you are going to get. Visited on a busy Friday pre-theatre. Service and kitchen was fast and efficient (though not fast enough for the chef who kept coming out from the kitchen to hurry along the waiting staff).
S. B.
Service was a little slow but food good. Starters tastier then mains. Okay COVID processes but felt a little packed.
L. T.
Very good food, despite the fact that they were very busy, service was fast and organized.
K. H. N.
I usually really enjoy Bills but tonight I was disappointed by extremely poor service. They didn’t check on us after we ordered and I literally had to raise my voice for service. If it weren’t for tasty food there then I would have given it a 0 stars.
So sorry Bill’s but quality service is everything.
KK 🙁
E. W.
We had good service, a nice table and tasty food. They have a decent breadth of menu choices.
K. M.
Lovely decor !!! Can't go wrong with Bills .. it's a chain so good is quite consistent ..a lot of vegan options too , so that's a plus !
M. F.
Good but very busy and a little cramped
A. M.
Good safety measures in place with temperature checks and good social distancing. Brunch excellent as ever and served by friendly staff
J. R.
Very friendly, helpful and professional staff and the food was opera to my palate. Definitely going back for more. Oh and dog friendly
D. P.
Nice busy restaurant in a great location. Excellent service & quality food. I would imagine at busy times there is probably a wait but worth it.
B. L.
Great food and very friendly staff! Thank you to the two lovely ladies who made our visit special, Guchin and Alex. Will definitely be returning!
F. D.
Good location, reasonable prices!

On a beautiful Bank Holiday Monday, we went to Bill's in Cardinal Place Victoria, and we absolutely loved it, the food was delicious, there were three of us me, my daughter and a family member, to start we had calamari, fish cakes and crispy pork dumplings, which were all delicious, for main course we had flat iron steaks, which cut like butter, and a naked burger, all served with out of this world fries, and sauces for dipping and salad leaves for decoration, absolutely delicious, then for sweet, we had warm cinnamon doughnuts with chocolate and salted caramel sauces for dipping, decorated with strawberries, we washed it all down with pink lemonade, and we all agreed it was one of the best meals we had eaten, and the service was exemplary.
A.
Lovely food, nice atmosphere.
H. C.
Very friendly, fair prices, no rushing you. Mac and cheese a bit heavy and dry but that's nit picking. Still ate it all!
L. T.
Food was good. Not happy at the 12% optional tip, when it clearly wasn't optional. Just added to my bill with no comment, only just noticed once home. Daylight robbery
A. W.
Salmon miso bowl very good. Good service and covid secure.
Loos could be given more attention.

Great steak dinner. Nothing fancy, but really good food. Good value for money. Nice staff, good service

Very good Eggs Royale and smashed avocado toast. Tea is good. Fun people watching. Downstairs seating can be drafty and chilly.

Great portion sizes and the Triple Chocolate Brownie is for real chocolate lovers. A bit on the rich side but amazing nevertheless. A+
