Amazing location, wonderful service and most importantly some delicious food!!!
After seeing that it was their opening weekend we decided to pop in and it did not disappoint-
Some amazing, authentic Nashville style chicken burgers (BTW the burgers are huge) and amazing sides (we had the wings and cheesy chips)
I also tried the "spicy shake" that I recommend anyone to try, it's hard to explain but the slight afterkick of heat compliments the ice-cream in a way that shouldn't work, but it does!!
(Come the summer this will be their best seller, I said it here first!)
Even without the 40% discount that we received for the opening weekend deal, the food is very reasonably priced (even more so given its location) and we will definitely be making a return to try the rest of the Menu!

A wonderful new addition to Clapham, we came on a Sunday evening and were welcomed by friendly staff and a great atmosphere
We ordered the lychee ranger and country sunset to drink and had the cheesy nash, everything nash, dirty bird fries, and nash cream burger which is admittedly a lot but it's tough to narrow it down when there are lots of tempting choices on the menu
As a non-alcoholic drinker, I appreciated how many different mocktail choices they had and how tasty they were! The frozen daiquiris were also a good accompaniment to quell the burn from the fiery kick of the chicken
Be warned, the spice levels here are not for the faint of heart! There's a vast range of spice levels to choose from and if you like your food spicy, this is a place that's up for the challenge.
While I typically prefer a beef burger, I was impressed with how juicy the chicken in the burger was, and the soft, chewy texture of the potato bun. The dirty bird fries are a huge portion for two people to share when we had a burger each but fear not, they have takeaway boxes for that 😉
To finish off a very comprehensive and tasty meal, we had the nash cream burger which is perfect for anyone who enjoys a sweet and spicy mix. Sadly we didn't have space for the churros but that just means we'll have to make another visit in the future!

Delicious and large portion. Had the Nashville Hot chicken burger. As you can see from the pic, it’s massive. The skin-on fries were below average though - not properly cooked. But overall, worth visiting for sure

The restaurant was amazing, the ambience was great and the staff members were very welcoming. The food was very succulent. The portion sizes were great too! I would definitely recommend it. The manager asked for our feedback and was very happy to take on constructive feedback.

Have been here 4 times already and I keep coming back for more. Massive portions putting other places to shame. The burgers let alone on their own are enough to fill you up and leave you in a food coma without any sides!. The burgers so far in my experience have been done to perfection, and the best thing of all is although the fillet is deep fried, it is not overpowered by oil. The chicken is cooked throughout and properly, yet it still tastes succulent and soft. The Nashville taste in the batter is amazing, and something I have never tasted before. Definitely go for the hot as the level of spice caters for all. The drinks and the desserts are great too, especially the summer drinks they have on offer. Everyone who works here have been polite and full of energy to liven up the place. A family run business that has been well thought out and has brought another lease of life in South London.

Saw this place was opening and finally managed to book a table for two. It was worth the wait. The burgers were huge and VERY spicy (we went for medium but hot is available) and tasty. Loved the cheesy fries. The staff were friendly and very helpful answering any questions we had. I'm definitely going back for brunch as the chicken pancakes have piqued my interest.

Hands down the best chicken burger place I have ever had. Tender, spicy, sweet, filling, everything you want in a burger. Their chips are amazing and the spicy sauce, don't know what's inside but its sensational. Also, made the mistake of ordering double chicken and it was gigantic, as their portion sizes are so big!!!!! On the plus side, had a snack for later :D Genuinely try it.

Have had this delivered a few times now and I am absolutely blown away the quality. Best chicken sandwich I’ve had in London probably. The fries could do to be a bit more well done, but the sandwich is so good that I’m willing to look past the fry issue. Also tried the pancakes one time and it was equally amazing!

Amazing food, drinks, service and atmosphere! Staff were really attentive and helpful, providing recommendations and explaining the menu. Obsessed with their daiquri drinks, which was perfect in this recent hot weather. I had the lollipop chicken and the chicken and pancakes! Probably the best chicken I've had in London, full of flavour and the perfect texture! Recommend getting the dry spice rub on the chicken for added heat. I am definitely going to make this my new go to spot in South London. Location is so handy also!

The food was amazing, the loaded fries were my favourite 😻. Chicken is just perfect not too dry. Juicy and tender 😌 and the staff were genuinely amazing people, they kept checking up on us every now and then making sure we’re comfortable and well :))

Tried it this weekend after several recommendations, got 40% off and didn’t complain. The food is really good, had the dirty bird + Cheesy Nash. Portion sizes are quite big which makes it worth what you’re paying under normal prices, we managed to finish but did struggle towards the end. All in all really good experience and will sure to be back.

My experience at bird and tie was amazing, as a vegetarian it's really hard to find a good burger, but the vegan burger was the best I've tried, great texture and taste! Not to mention that it was a very generous size.
The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and service is quick.
I'd also really recommend the spicy rosemary fries and the Jack's (crispy potato wedges) but my favourite was the spicecream, which is ice cream with a chilli syrup!
The restaurant has a great vibe and is newly refurbished and is right next to Clapham Common.

After loving the Nash flavour on a trip to the US, I have been on the hunt for a great Nash restaurant. I can say with great confidence that this is the one. I order regularly via Deliveroo and stoked that you guys have finally opened. Tried it over the weekend and was impressed again! I really love your buns. Also waitress’ offered great service and were really attentive had a great convo with them about my chase for the top tier Nash UK restaurant haha! Thanks again and see you soon!

Beautifully architected, traditional Texas chicken, clearly a lot of thought went into restaurant and menu design! Food was 10/10, I loved the food, the food was dank, good food

Top service! Great burgers and chips. I like the fact that everything has been thought out to the detail. For example the straws are not overly long for the glass and it’s easier to drink.

I’d commuted from North London, to try their soft launch at Clapham Common, post weekend, of writing this review.
Firstly, I want to say the customer service, was excellent. Very warm, friendly and accommodating from outset till the end.
Right, a few things I need to highlight and perhaps some suggestions to take on board.
The Nashville flavouring, I’m afraid this needs to be tweaked somewhat. Yours is missing the hints / tones.
I’ve had aplenty of Nashville burgers in my lifetime, from aplenty of travels and this didn’t reach the heights of what it should be like when it comes to taste. I was having high expectations, upon visiting. The Poultrygeist Hot Oil, was not even a feather duster hot to me. You have taken note of what recommendation I’ve given to hot things up, that being the Blair 3AM Hot sauce. If you can get your flavouring tuned and improved. Then you’ll be onto a winner. The potato buns are nice. The sliders, just a touch more butter will be nice and perhaps a choice of different cheese to go with it.
The Mac & Cheese Bites, were nice. However the Honey & Mustard, I knew sadly was a commercial one. A proper Honey & Mustard sauce, should be more yellowish looking than white looking.
Here’s my recipe / suggestion for a good Honey & Mustard sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2Tbsp Dijon mustard
1 1/2 Tbsp yellow mustard
3 1/2 Tbsp Manuka honey
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp salt
freshly cracked pepper (about 4 cranks of a pepper mill)
Seating layout, it’s very narrow and perhaps too tight for your co-workers as I saw this first hand and of fellow customers, having difficulty in getting in and out.
The mocktail drinks, were refreshing and top notch!
Didn’t see clear signage for the toilet. Also, there was no dryer…so, how are people expected to dry there hands?
A few new opening jitters, which I’m sure will be resolved over time.

Definitely will be returning to try more of this amazing menu! The food is delicious, portion sizes are very generous, reasonably priced and the service is friendly and professional. Absolutely worth a visit!

Honestly quality food, feels fresh every single time and doesn’t fail to impress, definitely worth the wait! The amount of options and their portion sizes exceed any place I’ve ever been to. Definitely a returning customer!

Used to get takeaway from this place throughout lockdown, its great to finally see the staff behind the food! As ever great food which really puts a twist on the standard burgers, wings and chips combo!

Crazy flavours and freshness, the menu goes above and beyond and the service we received was amazing! The food was defo worth the wait as they say quality requires patience. Their portion sizes were above my expectation and incomparable to any other restaurant I’ve been too! Defo need to bring the family back here

This has to be the best Nashville chicken spot in London! I have had food from here a few times now, and today I ordered for the entire family for a weekend dinner. Thoroughly impressed and the entire family loved it. Very generous portions of chicken, juicy on the inside, and spicy as it should be on the outside. Buns and sauces to die for. Very well packaged and very well presented - placed it on plates for the family dinner and they look amazing!
The rosemary fries are a must try too! I know you will be opening soon for sit-down service, and I cannot wait!!!
Highly recommended, especially if you have family/friends over. Five stars!!

Super friendly staff, great food, service and drinks. The chicken was really succulent and crispy and the portions were very generous!

***UPDATE TO THE BELOW***- May 2022
We went to the opening last weekend to finally try it in person and OH WOW, what a difference it was having it in the actual restaurant. I mean delivery was already fantastic but having it served there and then was a game changer. I had the dirty bird fries and the everything NASH (I think it was called that - it had coleslaw in it but will have to double check the menu). The portions were incredible (we needed take away boxes) but the flavour was just insane. I think the hot oil is better than the dry spice.
I wish they did reservations as it was walk-in only so we had to wait a bit for a table but was absolutely worth it. Staff were so polite as well , even though they were rammed!
Dry bar and desserts was a nice surprise on the menu - our favourite was the Texas whip, and the spicey cream which is like ice cream with some sort of syrup on it that has a tingly sensation - can't describe it as never had anything like it.
10/10 recommend and will deffo be going back.
OLD REVIEW - 2021
I found this delight after seeing a few a few TIKTOK/IG videos so thought ok let’s give it a go...
Honestly I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I had the Cheesy Nash burger initially with the rosemary fries and it was delicious ! So I thought ok let me venture a bit more with this menu and then opted for the pancakes and Chicken (I was really intrigued) and again it was DELICIOUS!
Since then I’ve tried both the dry and oil nash (dry is my favorite ) , the everything nash and of course their churros, and everything has been brilliant.
If like me you were a bit skeptical at first - don’t be - I know this is a new joint but they have NAILED IT. Absolute Nashville fan because of these guys (also as a side note my American friend who has had the original Texan Nash Chicken is also officially hooked after I introduced her to this place) . Thank. Me. Later !

Very good service they seemed like they were happy to be there unlike any other restaurant portion sizes were good but too good make sure you don’t get a double chicken burger as it’s way too big but overall pretty good food

My Son and some friends went all the way from Romford to get the chicken Nashville burger.
They were so impressed with not only the food but the member of staff helped them across the road ( they had Boris bikes ) and then gave them all milkshakes while they were waiting.
He then brought all the food over while they were in the park, he was polite and friendly.
Just a little gesture means so much , so would give a 5 star rating .

Had the boneless dry previously and it was good. Quite unique but a bit dry for me. Had the hot oil, everything nash burger with some lettuce and it was perfect. Game changer and even down to the ingenious box the burger came in. Wedges were great as well. Glad i gave it another go.

As an American who has spent a lot of time in Nashville, I admit I was initially horrified that they were serving Chicken and PANCAKES! But I was tempted by the rest of their menu and it totally hit the spot. Lollipop wings were crispy and well flavored and the Jacs wedges are delicious. I'm looking forward to tucking into the leftovers in my fridge :)
K. R.
I had the double fried Nashville chicken and pancakes - IT WAS AMAZING, it looked just as good as it does in the pictures and the optional dry spice added made the crispy coating delicious, couldn't recommend it anymore. Can't wait until the shop actually opens after lockdown!!!
S.
Wanted to try Nashville chicken for so long and it’s finally come to London. Definitely everything I expected and more. Please open your restaurant as soon as lockdown ends! Would recommend the pancakes and chicken

Honestly one of the best fried chicken joints I've ordered from. Regularly get the hot oil everything mash burger with rosemary chips... yum!!!!

Bird and Tie is hands down my favourite chicken place not only in London but the entire world.
Sometimes I'm feeling risky on Deliveroo and try venturing out into other chicken restaurants and each and every time I've done so I've been left feeling severely disappointed. I solemnly swear that I will never again make that wrong decision and I hereby dedicate all my chicken needs to Bird and Tie alone.
I have ordered so many things off the menu now and I can say from the bottom of my heart, not a single menu item has ever let me down.
The potato buns are so soft it's as if an almighty deity has blessed a holy bready pillow for the sole purpose of encasing that delicious Nashville Hot Chicken which is the true gift from the heavens presented unto us mere mortals. Move over Ambrosia, Bird and Tie's Nashville Hot Chicken now takes it's rightful place as the food of the Gods.

Very good and tasty food. Nice staff and environment to eat in

The food was good and as advertised but a lot more salty and larger portions than expected. Overall would eat again but order less and not make plans for the following day.
