Went here to get out ove the wind yesterday. While the baby slept I'm the pram. I was helped by a staff member to get up the small steps to the restaurant. Wasn't really hungry but I thought I'll grab something. The octopus salad was nice but I felt it needed something else. Either way it was tasty. My Turkish coffee was delicious. I loved how it was served. Very smile staff n pleasant. Would return to try something different.

Great lunch location, and a menu with a lot of choice. Sitting outside in the sun is lovely, as is the setup with the screens so that you don't feel too close to the road or traffic. Really friendly staff and quick service too, without feeling hurried.

A friendly and comfortable place where you can get a range of very nice Mediterranean dishes, including grills, pizza, pasta, seafood and other mains. Laz’s Favourite chargrilled lamb fillets was an absolute standout - simple, delicious and showing that they really know how to handle meat. It was beautifully tender and tasty! The sweet and rich Sangiovese wine was superb. And also, of course, you could hardly ask for a better location right by Hampstead Heath.

Very interesting setting as it was a mix of Mediterranean and Italian food. Lovely food, good portion sizes and variety of food! My friend and I took sharing meze which was really tasty and good size and had iskender which was tender and soft , chicken stew was a large portion , we couldnt finish it so took it with us, pizza was also rEally good size and full of flavour and lastly laz special was tender and full of flavour. Of course we had to try dessert so we opted for baklava and tiramisu- both were rich in flavour and tasty. The place itself has an authentic feel and really cosy , there is an outside space with lamps to keep you warm! Will definitely be back to try more

We moved to the area a couple months ago and have really tried to like this place, but have now given up on it. The food has never been bad but it's never been good either. It's mostly the service that consistently is bad. We have always been made to feel that the server is doing us a favor by stopping to take our order and we have also been flat out ignored for 20-30 minutes at a time as well. We also tried takeaway more than once but also had issues with that too-- breakfast menu is not online and we haven't been able to get someone to answer the phone to take our order more than once. Today I had the audacity to ask for a couple of small changes to a menu item and was told no at every turn (when in the past egg whites were fine to request for example). It's just not good enough to outweigh the hassle of eating there, which is a shame because there aren't many options around.

My sister recently married and they had their reception afterwards... it was unbelievably beautiful, amazingly hospitable, wonderfull food, incredible homemade cakes, the views are amazing. The icing on the cake was the wildlife and the adorable little Robin that would pop up out of the trees and sit with you. If you haven't been here.. you haven't lived x

An accidental find for us, and an amazing one. Initially for the red brick and trace of historic signs for a Hampstead's Tea Room. Having walked around Highgate Cemetary, we saw this place and were intrigued, by day. When we passed again, as the night was drawing in, this place came ALIVE. Authentic food, generous portions: we had the mixed grill. The menu is Mediterranean, especially, specifically Turkish. So much more food to try...a young family getting pizzas were really happy and accommodated for... Other people drank beer, others tried more exotic and seafood fare... We drank a bottle of the Turkish Red Wine.. So good we had another. Amazing deserts. Apple Pie and Ice Cream...Baklava even better. We, and customers of all shapes and sizes, were served by caring, handsome (!) polite and well-humoured waiting staff. A little warmer and we'd have been sitting outside. Cooler, and I am sure that the place glows with warmth, with simple decore. It was like snatching a Mediterranean Holiday for a few hours...a chance to relax and rest and natter in these uncertain times. Please support them! We want to return with a group of friends during our next visit to London!

Had some absolutely amazing pizza from here, very tasty. The ingredients were super fresh and they cooked the pizza very quickly. The staff were very efficient and lovely and moved through the queue of people very rapidly. The food is always to a high standard and it's very close to Hampstead Heath so a lovely place to get lunch from after walking around the park.

The food here is delicious. Combination of standard fair and Eastern Mediterranean. Calamari and giant mushroom with goats cheese are great starters also seafood linguini or lovely fresh meat calzone (my personal favourite and go to dish). Eat inside inside with outside heaters if it gets a wee bit chilly.

Had the seafood pasta, it was the best value for money I think I've ever had since I've lived in London! Really generous amount of fish, and all our groups portions sizes were amazing. I was wary that there was too many things to offer on the menu, but everybody in my group was really impressed and we had quite a wide selection of dishes. Good flow of customers coming in over lunch, staff were also friendly and attentive, will absolutely be returning.

Let's just say this restaurant is amazing. I've been eating at this establishment for a couple of years. The staff are friendly, polite and very efficient. The food is delicious, succulent and so satisfying. They have a great selection of wines and spirits. My friends and I have never gone away disappointed. Definitely 5 star treatment.

We ordered, paid & sat ouside on a warm rainy summer evening. I was tempted to order another drink after my food, but when asked if I could use the toilet, they said NO. Shock, horror! - I understand because of COVID 19, but please, have some consideration, my bladder is full after drinking on your premises. The Carob tree across the road was empty as the outdoor seating has no shelter yet in desperation I went in to ask & they kindly allowed me to, doesn't make sense really. We LOVE this place. Hav been eating here for about 10 years. You can sit either in the Al Parco pizzeria side, or the Bistro Laz side (both owned but the same people, but linked at the back and adjacent buildings) and order from either menu, which is cool. - pizzas are excellent, kids menu good, Turkish meze amazing. I would avoid the more French cuisine dishes, as this isn't the kind of cuisine they do best. Stick with the pizzas, pastas and Turkish stuff and you won't be disappointed. Chicken brochette with rice and stir fried veg, the juicy lamb kofte, penne arrabbiata, pizzas and iskender kebab are my favourites. Breakfast - I don't think they do enough pastries to be honest, so their continental stuff is thin on the ground, but the various egg- based dishes are lovely. Good coffee too. They certainly give Kalendar up the road a run for their money and are much, much cheaper, particularly if you're eating out with family and friends. The staff are always helpful and friendly too - a bonus. Love the owner with his huge beard! We are moving soon and will be back to eat here, whenever we visit the Heath.

Pizza here is fantastic, base is super thin. Prices are reasonable for the area and there's seating outside when the weather plays ball. I find service here can be a little hit and miss, depending who's working but food always arrives within a reasonable wait time. Definitely favour it over Pizza East down the road 🍕

Hi All, Very-happy with the food and drinks, staff very atentive and polite. Visited for the first time after 10years living in the area, however I know now I will come back here again&again. I do recommed this place to visit and order two course meal with the selection of turkish starters. We had the sea food rice as main and the very fresh turkish platter made of very fresh ingredients as top notch fallafel, special filled samosas, tatiki, couscous salad, and more... really good value abd well worrh for spending just £25 per person incl all food&drinks in total. Table service by younger staff is occasionally slow but overall a pleasant experience at a venue convenient for Parliament Fields.

A chance find having wandered over Hampstead Heath. Very cozy, obviously very popular with locals and family friendly too, judging by the client mix when we were there. My eating companion is fluent in Turkish, and having multiple allergy issues has to be careful with her choices, and the waiting person seemed a little impatient as to why she was taking so long to decide on her choice of meal. That aside, my other small 'gripe' was being charged £1.OO for a basket of extra bread. Our meal came to quite a substantial amount, and to have this added was a little galling! I'm not a serial complainer by any means, and I realise that nothing is free in this world, but I regularly frequent the Turkish establishments in Green Lanes (North London), and this doesn't happen there. Apart from this small 'issue', well worth a visit. I'm vegetarian, and the goats cheese salad was quite spectacular. Will certainly call again...

I came here with my mother after we had done our shopping in Camden. We sat outside, although not a good view the weather was nice and it was pretty quiet as well. We had starters of octopus sauteed with olive oil, garlic and chilli served on a bed of baby spinach leaves, calamari served with tartare sauce and garlic bread and olives. I really enjoyed the calamari, it was cooked lovely, it wasn't chewy and the tartare sauce wasn't too tangy either so it didn't overpower the calamari. I have been to a lot of places were the tartare sauce is too strong and you lose the flavour of the calamari but this was cooked beautifully. It was my first time trying octopus so I have nothing to compare it to although I found the octopus chewy which I wasn't very fond of. The garlic bread and olives were nice, nothing to shout about but wasn't horrible, a good small starter (although we did have three). All three dishes were of very generous sizes as well. For our main course we had lasagne. My eyes were too big for my stomach and I ordered the chips with mine. They are very generous with their portion sizes because the lasagne was packed with meat, sauce and pasta, I know I am a small person but just the lasagne on it's own was more than enough. Very well cooked. The dish was delicious. The chips were pretty bog standard, although I didn't eat a lot of them they weren't horrible but not amazing. Dessert I had apple and almond crumble and custard. I had been dying for some crumble and custard for ages so I was excited to find a custard dessert. The crumble tasted lovely, it was cooked lovely (not burnt) and had a hint of cinnamon which I like in my crumble. For the first time in my life though I found that there was too much crumble and not enough apple. Maybe it was just the portion I had but I barely had any apple which was disappointing. However I cannot fault it because it tasted good and so did the custard. We had coffee afterwards which was nice. For all the food we ate our meal was pretty cheap as well. We paid less than £100 which I was impressed by. We drank wine and other alcoholic drinks as well. The service there was great as well, very attentive but didn't swarm around us constantly. Although getting the attention of someone when you wanted it was difficult sometimes. Overall they were all very friendly and nice. The only thing I will warn about is if you are sitting outside expect people to ask you for money. This happened to us a few times. Nothing to do with Al Parco but just be warned if you feel uncomfortable with strangers asking you for money it probably isn't the best idea to sit outside. *On Trip Advisor
