Best chips I've had in the UK, hands down. They've got a solid crunch on the outside while still being nice and fluffy on the inside. I got the battered Rock fish, which was lovely, and we enjoyed the saveloy and battered sausage. Really excellent! And thank you for the recommendation of the rock fish, lady on the counter - excellent call!

This is the best local chippie I've had in London. The batter texture is especially good, just make sure you get it home quick so it doesn't steam itself soggy! Portion sizes and prices are great, and the staff has gotten to know lots of regulars. You may wait a while for your meal, but that's because it's so popular and busy rather than a problem with service.

A proper old fashioned neighborhood chippy. I'm not a massive fan of fish and chips as they are often a let down but these old guys (family I think) make great chips and fish to order. Often takes 15 to 20 mins as they make the fish and it's busy especially on a Friday, but if you want good, cheap and reliable fish and chips, it's a great little place

Hands down the best Fish and Chips in Walthamstow. Lived here several years before we found out about it. Never go anywhere else now. It's tucked away and looks like nothing special from outside but they really know what they're doing. Don't expect any hipster trimmings, just fresh, classic fish and chips done to perfection.

THE HEART OF WALTHAMSTOW. You won't get better fish and chips in miles. May be an exaggeration, as I am a regular, but if you live round this end of Walthamstow, you KNOW Bonners and you KNOW how good it is. Very reasonably priced and the staff there are so friendly and such great members of the community. I have such fond memories of picking up fish and chips from here on the way back from a parent's evening. I could not rate this any more highly. This is a Walthamstow staple.

Er, yes. Yes yes yes. Chippies don’t need to be updated or owt like that. This is a proper local chippy which I’d like to pack up and keep on a half-mile leash for the rest of my days. Excellent chip shop chips in the biggest portion I’ve ever seen. Good chat. Charity supporting. Crispy batter on tender fish. Pukka Pies. Curry sauce and mushy pease both up to scratch. Don’t mind me phoning ahead to order just before I leave the flat. Cracking prices. Unless you’re not a fan of fish and chips there is literally nothing to dislike here.

Nice little chip shop, I've only ever bought cod and chips there the few times I've visited but the fish is always good and the batter tasty, the chips are good too. Both could do with a little more of the oil being removed before being wrapped but still not excessive amounts as is.

(Translated) Very good in and of itself! How did we end up in this store from central London of all places? He appeared in the London special episode of the show with the mouse. But friends, be warned! What is sold here as chips for 2.60 are 3 servings elsewhere! That would be great, but not if you ignorantly order 3 portions for 3 people and then, when they are already made, you are asked whether this is intended for the only 3 people in the store and then would be "a lot of chips". The good man could have pointed this out beforehand. We didn't even make half of it, the rest was unfortunately thrown in the bin. But super fresh and delicious! (Original) An und für sich sehr gut! Wie wir ausgerechnet von central london in diesem Laden gelandet sind? Er kam in der london Spezialfolge der Sendung mit der Maus vor. Aber Freunde, seit gewarnt! Was hier für 2,60 als chips Verkauf wird sind anderswo 3 Portionen! Das wäre toll, nicht aber wenn man unwissend 3 Portionen für 3 Personen bestellt und dann wenn sie schon gemacht sind gefragt wird ob das für die einzigen 3 Personen im Laden gedacht ist und dann wohl "a lot of chips" sei. Da hätte der gute Mann vorher drauf hinweisen können. Wir haben nichtmal die Hälfte geschafft, der Rest flog leider in die Tonne. Aber super frisch und lecker!
