I’m not usually the one to take some time out of my busy work schedule to write a review... however I must say, this has to be far by the BEST fish and chips I’ve ever had! The fresh quality of the fish, lightly battered, very meaty! Amazing quality chips too! Very clean environment and tops it off with friendly staff! Will be back all the time for lunch!

Good chips and great service. I had the veggie burger which wasn't great to be honest and I only ate half. To be fair, people will be coming here for fish and chips not for veggie burger and chips.

I'll start with the food: Clearly you can see it's cooked fresh because it didn't have the mushy greasy texture. It was tender and broke off perfectly and nice and crispy cod. Chips were good as you would expect. Service was quick and the people were friendly. As a local chippy you really can't go wrong. I'll be stopping by again for sure.

Great fish and chips, one of the best I have ever had. Chips are proper thick cut and you can taste they are being fried in fresh oil which really makes a difference. Also super tasty fish, and huge portions too!

Decent, clean local chippy with very friendy service and good portions. Not open for delivery services at the moment but you can collect if you call an order ahead (although I've never waited longer than 5 minutes just turning up). A good community asset, literally right to the bus stop.

If you live within I'd say 5 miles of this fish and chip shop then there is no competition for their bread and butter meal of cod and chips. Visit this fish bar at peak times which can be anything from 6pm weeknights and Friday and Saturday evenings and you will no doubt see a queue. This bodes well when people are prepared to queue to be served food to take away thats how popular it is for people living nearby. The small cod is massive and the large even bigger. The chips are very generous portions and cannot be replicated at home in a fryer. The large portion will easily serve 3 people from my experience and the small enough for 2 people. Easily the best cod and chips within the E1, E2, E3 area of East London.

Best chips in London. A hidden gem and always Very traditional british fat chips with generous portions. They also can cook you chips in a seperate oil pan i.e. if you are worried about pork that is cooked in same fat with chips. Great guys! 10/10. P.s it is obvious the few hate comments on here are actually covert business competitive related feedback in the local area and that has nothing whatsoever to do with the lovely chips served at this chip shop!

Great chips, some workers are lovely and actually give a really good potion so it's value for money but, this one time a guy who I had never seen before on bonfire night tried giving me a small portion for the large price that's only reason it isn't 5/5 stars but I do, highly recommend this place.
