This was a quick visit after work, the place is tucked away under some arches, just keep following the satnav and don't be put off with the location. The spot is small and appears from the outside like you are about to walk into the kitchen, as you walk in you see the nice and easy menu on the wall and till on the left. The governor was on site, he gave a quick rundown of the menu and took the order. The Venue was clean, the staff were nice, menu was easy to order. The food arrived in about ten minutes. I had the pain of having to drive another 10 miles before I could eat the food which meant the food cooled down by the time I was home. I ordered the pastrami burger and a standard smash style burger. Bill was £16.50. The pastrami burger was nice and full, the burger tasted nice, only negative for me was with the fatty bits which were slightly chewy otherwise all good. The smash burger was also good, nice sauce, pickles and bun. Negatives: The patties were in my opinion slightly overcooked around the edges giving it a salty taste also the packaging was in paper packs, I would prefer some foil style packaging to keep the food warm for the people on the road. Will definitely be going back for another try.

Seen this place on social media few times and thought let’s give it try. Location looks like a place where serial killers hang around… there are no serial killers here so don’t worry… half a railway arch converted into a takeaway only kitchen… looks grotty as hell. However, customer service was great, very friendly staff. Pricing was decent for the type of burgers and sides they sell here. Finally the food.. I thought it was amazing, I absolutely loved, will need to try out few other burgers from there. Almost 5 stars, unfortunately location is not upto my standard for that reason 4 stars. But never the less, highly recommended for delicious burgers.

I loved every burger. They were cooked perfectly - crusty edge and juicy middle, they just melt in your mouth. What we loved most about them was the fact that all the condiments used made the burgers taste different to eachother and added a depth of flavour. The meat used is fresh, which makes a massive difference. If I had to pick my favourite, I’d say Big S’Mac or Easy street. The fries were divine! They’re cooked in beef dripping, which adds a delicious flavour. They were so addictive especially the cheeseburger fries. The drinks were unique and spectacular in taste! I’ve never seen them anywhere. Absolutely loved it. When you order, don’t forget to add them! The Butterscotch flavour was insane We absolutely loved our meal. My Hubby’s middle name should be ‘Burger addict’ as he loves his burgers a LOT. When he got into the car, he called me to say the car smells amazing because of the burgers & said he hopes we won’t get deet from how much he wants to eat them😂 He also mentioned - the fact that we reheated the burgers & they still tasted incredible says a lot about the burgers! Overall, we were extremely impressed with the quality and taste of everything we tried!! I’d highly recommend their food and make the most of the offers they have at the moment!

The Motz burger consisted of two 2oz patties with thinly sliced onions and American cheese. The Single was quite similar in build, but with the addition of pickles and onions. The Regular which was like a normal cheeseburger. We really enjoyed all of these burgers as there was definitely a lot of flavour in each burger. The Animal Fries included grilled onions, cheese along with their ‘S’Mac Sauce. These were amazing, the additional toppings really gives it a kick. Did take awhile for the cheese to melt however that was the only downside, but tasted great. Drip Fries are cooked in beef drippings, which gives it a very different sort of taste to usual fries, was very pleased to see it on their menu. Cheeseburger Fries were also very nice not soggy but definitely crispy, topped with melted cheese, onions, pickles, ketchup & mustard. Overall, a great place to visit for lovers of burgers. The staff really take their time to make sure each order is prepared well. Even the small things taken to consideration such as the packaging which really impressed me! - Highly recommend visiting this newly opened burger joint!!

Great food overall! Very convenient packaging but unfortunately food will go cold very quick. Fries do get soggy quick as well as the burgers are a bit too greasy (but this could be a plus point for some). Their food will go down better if they had a sit in establishment. In honesty, the price you paid on promotional was decent. However, I found this not all that special and the vibe I got none wow factor. The place is built were wedding catered used to be and partition the wall. I enjoyed the fries with beef and sauce was ok. Not ready a signature move there. The burger really looked inside. My grandmother can do whole better. There was nothing compared that this can be compared. The lads I ordered to experience this. 3/5. I would prefer more gourmet or fat burgers. The burgers needed good relish and onions. I mean come on... I had had some hope here. You can try yourself and see. Bought the Motz burger, single burger & Animal Fries. The 2 oz smash patties which in my opinion are too small come in lovely potato buns. The motz was really underwhelming. Patties weren't seasoned with enough salt and not sure why it doesn't come with no mustard. Same with single burger, poorly seasoned patty. Animal Fries also underwhelming. Didn't like the sauce too much and fries were soggy even though we ate them straight out of the kitchen. Also packaging wasn't great, burgers come out really greasy so you can't take them home to eat as the grease will melt the potato buns. Id recommend better packaging is given as most people will be eating in their cars considering the location of the kitchen. Overall I'd give it a 7/10. Because I know with enough salt these would taste great. Please taste your food and season with more salt, use bigger patties and change your packaging please.

Great food, great service, and very good staff. The food is very tasty. The burgers, fries, drinks and deserts is something different than most of the burger joints you tend to find in East London, the main ingredients are fresh rather than the typical processed meat. This place is great for its food. The burgers are moreish and cooked brilliantly and the new pastrami burger is to die for. The chips also have a great flavour. The only thing for improvement is their packaging which isn't the best for keeping food warm for longer than 10mins so keep this in mind if travelling further. Still tastes great though.

Loved everything about this place. Just a commercial kitchen, no fancy front counter but making exceptionally well cooked Smash burgers. Try the "Don Burger" which is not on the menu.. Saw it on insta and had a try and it was banging. Love these little independent food shops. Travelled 37 miles and worth the trip. Right next to Bun&Sum is Holy Smokes another place I will try next time.

Absolutely top drawer. Would easily rate as one of the best burgers in London. The Pastrami burger had such incredible smoke to it, and the Motz was just a great classic burger. Complemented by well-seasoned fries the whole experience was spot on. Great to see someone doing a smash burger right!

Pros: great service from the team. Cons: burgers were far too small and lacked something, sauce, seasoning whatever. Fries were truly dissapointing considering the cost. They could have done with more toppings and not just add loads of sauce on top. We tried the burger fries, only small amount of pattie used on top and their drip fries just wasn't as creative as expected. Images of burgers on Instagram are too different from what you actually get. Maybe it was just my order...My burger literally had onions and no cheese (Motz). Overall, I certainly wouldn't go back.

Great Value for money! Simple but yet delicious burgers. Animal Fries are very very good (Think McDonald's chips with carmorlised onions and Mac Sauce). Drink variety also good. However, would not recommend having deserts here. Tried their new basque cheesecake, which was not that great (esp if you have had Basque Cheesecakes before). This one tasted frozen.... so dropped to 4* ... regardless, would deffo still recommend coming here to try the burgers and chips.

Surprisingly good! Food is not your fancy looking burgers but it's prepared with enough care and top notch sauce salad flavourings, the price is great for the current climate. I believe there is a 50% off promotion now (collection only - not sure for how long so maybe check before you order). Beef dripped fries were tasty, lacked crunch but it's bound to happen unless you eat these straight away. I will definitely order from this place again, their customer service was great too, they phoned me to check the notes I had placed on my order and got full clarification of how I wanted my burgers customised. Great job, keep up the hard work!
