Perfectly cooked lobsters everytime. Their dessert is also a hit! I came with my sister here 3 times this week! Monica was our waitress and she remembered us. She was really friendly and helpful. Overall great food, good service and reasonable price ( lunch menu was £20/ classic lobster)

Frankly speaking, I like the food. Appetisers are tasty and the sauces provide a good balance. Portions though are really small. The main dish is of course lobster roll. The taste is unparalleled. You can virtually taste the sea as each bite brings out the salty flavour of the lobster despite the mayo sauce. Only downside of the whole meal is that it’s a bit pricey given the portion size. Otherwise, all good. Should come at least once if you travel to London. P.S. if you’re into sci fi utopia novels, do check out the book on last picture which is available on Amazon. Highly recommended read while waiting for your food to come. 😁

Really good experience - we booked last minute due to having to change our plans. Waiting staff were very good, enthusiastic and good at giving recommendations. When the wine we wanted wasn't available we were given an alternative for the same price. Food was good, with generous portion sizes. Didn't try the burgers, but the ones we saw looked very nice. Absolutely stunning food at a fair price. The lobster is amazing grilled or boiled and they give you all the tools to deal with them too. We had starters to share .... Black Tihlger Prawns, lobster croquettes and scallops. The sauce on the scallops is amazing x We had two different combo mains, one with Burger and Lobster Sandwich and the other was Buger and Lobster (went for a full one cooked half and half) then upgraded our fries. Really decent portions were served and the staff were friendly, helpful and chatty. We went at lunchtime and there was plenty of atmosphere around us with city workers, tourists and Birthday parties. I would absolutely go back and wish they did these up North.

Me and my family went here to make the most of the money off scheme. Had to book a table online and it was easy. Food was great, lobster was delicious and the burger was yummy. They got my sons order wrong but was quick to fix it and was apologetic. Friendly and welcoming staff. My son enjoyed his burger. All of us enjoyed our food. The prices has gone up and on the expensive side. If you love lobster this is the place to be.

Very delicious lobster roll, my friend also liked the lobster roll and burger combo. Their appetizers are quite nice, I recommend the seafood medley in garlic butter sauce, the lobster macaroni & cheese, but not so much the fennel, watermelon salad, I thought that the salad taste was a bit weird. They also have a great choice of cocktails, soft cocktails, kombucha, and wine. Love that you can have a side of broccoli and asparagus. I do think the waiting staff can be a bit more attentive, that's why I think they don't deserve a 5 star yet

Best place to eat lobsters in London. I highly recommend the combo so you get to try the lobster which I tried grilled (you can choose from grilled or steamed) and I tried the regular burger with cheese which was awesome. This restaurant is a proper restaurant with proper seating so you can take your date here.

I visited Burger & Lobster on a Friday evening with 3 friends, managed to get a table without a problem. The restaurant had a very warming atmosphere. The service was very quick, the food was tasty and well presented. However the service was a little slow when we came to settling the bill.

This is an amazing chain of restaurants - they can be found in many great locations! Very delicious food, very generous portions. Not the cheapest variant for grabbing a bite, however it worth each pound you spend there. Would definitely recommend for those who loves good food! I went with a friend who traveled from the US. We came to the place because L&B is somehow being portrayed as a very popular restaurant on INS and other social media. It is now part of the must try package of visiting London for the first time. If you've been to a burger and lobster before, you know what to expect. Simpe menu with burgers, and... Lobsters! It is a good restaurant, but you can find both better burgers and better lobsters quite easily in London. I would probably come to the lace again with friends who want to have a 'complete' London experience, but not by myself.

Whenever I crave for lobsters, this branch in Bread Street has always been my favourite - easy to find a table, quick and no-fuss service, not that crowded and consistently great lobsters!

You can't go wrong with just three different options on the menu. It's either lobster, lobster roll, or a burger. I haven't been in a while and didn't realise the prices had gone up. The grilled lobster seemed smaller than what I remember and more expensive. It's still good with the butter sauce, with a side of salad and fries. Venue is wheelchair accessible and service good, but we weren't offered one of their infamous bibs. Nothing really bad to say except I could have done with more lobster! Still quite busy for a Wednesday night, so it's still a popular venue. You'd probably be more impressed if it was your first time, but I've been so many times now, it's nothing special and just ok for me.

I visited Burger & Lobster on Bread St in London a number of years ago, but it was, and still is, hands down the best burger I've had in my life. It really was that amazing. My friend and I were walking around the area, looking for the restaurant, and I remember there was the most incredible steaky burger smell in the air. I just kept thinking "Oh man, I hope that's coming from where we're heading". Luckily for me it was! We walked in and were seated, and when I asked for a menu the waitress explained to us how simple the choices were. I of course opted for the burger, and couldn't believe how amazing it was. Just the absolutely, juiciest, most delicious burger ever, with the perfect mix of beef cuts that made that amazing smell I had been smelling on my way over. Hopefully one day I'll get back out to London and relive that experience!

Fresh lobsters at relatively moderate price are the chief attraction of the place. You can chose your own lobster from the selection of large ones, though even a standard specimen makes a hearty dinner. The service is very brisk.

It was a good meal, The team took real care in delivery and maintaining the heat and quality of the food. The lobster was fair sized and the additional sauces were well fitted. The Lobster role was generous in their portion and was fair on flavour.. the lemon was needed and went well. The chips were frozen oven chips which I thought was a massive let down, more fry than potato. The Burger - tasty beef patty and signature sauce but it was soggy and you wouldn’t want to pick it up. Price is fair although it is a chain. It was clean eating, nothing was oily everything was cooked correctly. Overall I would rate it 3.9

Booked on short notice, after being let down by Marco Pierre's New York Italian. On arrival we explained the situation and we were welcomed and showed to our table immediately, with a complementary glass of prosecco on the house. The waiting staff were very attentive. My wife and I went here on New Years Eve and had a great time. The lobster was great, the wine was great, and the service was great. We didn’t have reservations but the whole staff was very accommodating. The food was..OK. There was a time when B&L were great value for money, now...not so much. The price of their lobster has increased and is now based on weight and you'd be right in thinking that all venues have the same prices, but oh no, they don't. When you order their basic lobster, that's all you get. You want sides? Get them at an extra. Great were the days when you could get a lobster with fries and a salad for £20. Now that same menu will set you back almost twice as much. And the lobster was lukewarm.

My parents were in town and took them there during my lunch break. Both really enjoyed themselves there, especially my dad. What's great about Burger and Lobster is that there's no menu - simple choice Burger or Lobster. Then its down to the size you want, any thing from regular to the excessive (as in the price)! It's important to ask the waiter what choices you have as you can get the chef to cook to your liking and even crack the shell and take the meat out for you - personally I feel this is the best part! Check out this place for a special lunch or over a business meeting. Great to get your hands dirty over lunch!

My mom and I went here before a show at the Cambridge Theater last week. We arrived around 4:30 pm (we wanted to beat the dinner rush since we didn't have a reservation). The regular dining room doesn't open until 5:00 pm, so we sat in a booth in the bar and it was great - it didn't effect the service or experience at all. Leo was our server, and he was amazing! If we went back we would ask for him specifically. He made the whole dining experience so fun and enjoyable. We ordered everything he suggested, even if it was something we wouldn't have normally ordered. And, all of his recommendations were SPOT-ON. The shining star of the dinner was the Ribeye steak with Stilton Hollandaise sauce. This was absolutely the best steak I've ever had in my life. (Better than OXO Tower.) I've been to London 4 times now and this was by far the best dining experience I've had while traveling here. My only regret is that I was too full to get desert. I can only imagine how delicious it would have been!

This isn't even supposed to be the busy branch, and the 2 hour wait made us question if getting in eventually would be worth this. I like the hustle & bustle of a lively crowd in any restaurant, but this was close to inducing anthropophobia. In the end though, ordering a half-burger-half-lobster that came in 5 mins, a silver gravy boat glistening with melted garlic & herb butter and fries. Salad accompaniment was a waste, I didn't see anyone touch that. But the sight of the vast, plentiful tray of goodies and the lobster claw that came with it made the experience worth the 2 hours' predrinking session.

Hmmm, I wonder what Burger & Lobster sell? This is a place that has really decided to follow the phrase "It's all in the name". The menu is so simple, that there isn't one. You quite simply can order a burger (with optional bacon and cheese), a 1 1/2 lb lobster (either grilled or steamed), and a lobster roll - all for £20. Pretty much everyone I know goes for the lobster or lobster roll, so it was pretty tempting but as I'm on a BurgerQuest, it was always going to be the burger. For £20, you expect to be wowed with a burger or at the very least understand what is supporting the price. Sadly, B&L's burger doesn't quite do that. Don't get me wrong, it's a delicious burger but not worth the price tag. It's a sizeable beast on a soft white bun sandwiching tender juicy meat. The bacon was a great addition with its salty and smoky flavours but I would have preferred sharper cheddar as the cheese got a bit lost in the mix. You do get unlimited chips and salad (which isn't something they advertise) but whether or not you want them is another question. The chips are perfectly adequate but again they don't really knock your socks off. The salad is great with parmesan cheese and mini croutons so fill your boots with that. Drinks wise, there is decent wine list and some interesting cocktails. I would warn the cocktails are a bit expensive at around £9-10 and fairly light. Wines will run you around £6/glass. Ah, and of course, getting a table. Now the Shoreditch and City locations will let your reserve but the Soho and Mayfair ones typically are walk in only. If you can, reserve a table as otherwise the wait can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours, even on a Tuesday evening. Overall, a good effort at the burger, B&L, but I'm not sure why you need it to be so expensive. Surely you can knock it down to £15 without too much of an issue? #ShardSnaps
