Unplanned visit after a bout of West End retail therapy. The service was A1 and the food fresh and delicious. The lobster meat was tender and the fries cooked to perfection. Even the little side salad drizzled in balsamic vinegar was lovely. But the real winner was the sinful and heavenly creme brulee. Each mouthful velvet bliss. Oh yes...

Went out for a lovely birthday meal. The food was really tasty and the cocktails were lovely. The restaurant wasn't to crowded the tables were quite spaced out from each other. The whole restaurant was clean from the restaurant floor to the toilets. The waiter was so pleasant. If you have a allergic reaction to fish this is not the restaurant for you.

I had a quick solo pit stop here around 5:30pm. Plenty of space at this time and very quick service. I had the lobster with truffle sauce - wow, you have to try this sauce. I also had the scallops - these were nice enough but wouldn’t order again. Sadly I wasn’t drinking, but I enjoyed a homemade lemonade. The staff were charming and delightful.

Our first ever lobster experience and wasn't sure that it will meet our expectations. But I have to say that we were blown away with the service right from the start and to end. Lobster was great and oysters were also very tasty. If you really want to have good time and experience then this is the place. Bill for 2 could reach upto £100. But you will buy regret..

Our experience at burger and lobster yesterday was AMAZING. My first time going as my boyfriend has been before and loved it and so I surprised him for his birthday. When we arrived we was taken to our table & we saw an empty booth and asked to sit there- the waiter Melo came back and said let me see if you can sit there, I had also mentioned it was my boyfriends birthday. He came back and said as it’s a saturday we can’t move to a booth but can move to the corner which was another table for 2 which we was more than happy to sit at. Once we settled and our waitress Tanita ( who was also great)served us and brought over our drinks- Melo came back and said I have moved a few things around and you can sit at a booth as part of my boyfriends birthday surprise! The fact he went out of his way to seat us comfortably and was so kind to us, really made our evening special. The food was so TASTY! DELICIOUS!! So 10/10 for the food, drinks & service - I could not fault this amazing restaurant (Oxford Circus) After we ate Melo arranged a cake and a sing song for my boyfriends birthday and that was super special. Thank you to all the team at Burger & Lobster Oxford circus you are amazing and we will be back again soon!:)

This was my first time at Burger & Lobster, we ordered the combo shared meal which comes with one burger, one sub roll, one full lobster and 4 fries which came to £60 plus tip. The meal portions were sufficient enough to get us 80% full. The lobster sub roll was fantastic, 10/10, featuring a very unique taste with a delicious butter toasted bread. The grilled lobster I would say was 8/10, as it came out slightly chewy than what I’ve had before elsewhere, but nevertheless the garlic dip was a delicious addition to the meal. The burger on the other hand was very average, 5/10, I struggled to pick up any unique taste within the burger, the bread looked fancy but didn’t contribute much to the taste, and the meat almost felt like it was steamed instead of grilled, even though we asked for crisp from the outside and medium from within. Overall the meal was enjoyable, and I would come back but I won’t order the burger. Fantastic service even in the tough times of COVID.

Amazing quality for a relatively low price. We had burgers and a huge lobster to share and it was awesome! Their special Old Fashioned was one of the best ones I've had so it's a recommendation if you're into that. It wasn't super crowded so it was easy to have a normal conversation without shouting which was good since we went out with colleagues. Try this out even if it's just for the Old Fashioned 😉

Great lobsters not too happening with the burger though. They have 3 branches and we were in the one near Oxford Street. They have one of the best truffle fries I had... Crispy outside with a soft center with an explosion of truffle flavour. Lobster was grilled to perfection. The meat was super bouncy like any good lobster should be. Wit a little coaxing it came out of its shell in great big pieces.

Great restaurant tucked away behind Oxford Street for a quiet lunch. Food was good. Had the plant-based burger which was a generous size. The starters were good too. Three of us shared two starters which was plenty. The mocktails were lovely. Had the passionfruit mojito which was a great twist on a modern classic. Service was friendly, although a bit patchy considering it wasn't very busy. Hence 4 stars. Overall though a good dining experience.

I love this place. The best lobster roll I have ever had in my life. Now the meal doesn’t come with salad and fries anymore but they are still available as side dishes. This time I had the opportunity to try theirs Gin and Tonic, which is homemade. I wish they were selling it in other places because is really amazing. The service was great and super fast.

I had a great lunch here. I really loved their blackberry lemonade and the lobster roll. My only con of the evening was that we ordered one of the larger lobsters but the flesh in the lobster had shrunk quite a bit after being cooked. To be fair 2 extra small lobsters were cooked for us to make up for it but it just felt like the amount of lobster we got didn't equal what we paid for. Apart from that I would still dine here, the food is tasty, the lobsters are fresh, and the overall look of the restaurant adds a comfortable feel.

Every thing we order from the menu is nice, however, we always prefer to go back and order the original lobster roll, it is really special. It is a shame they used to offer chips and salad as a side with the lobster roll, now you have to order them separately!

Bad points, the wait for a table was too long even though there were 5 tables available and the irony is that the table we sat at was empty within 5 min of walking into the resturant. There was a bad seafood smell throughout the stairs leading down to the toilets but this was not noticeable in the main restaurant.

How can you guess???? I was the driver of this minibus taking the group of 17 to this restaurant but I went run to the toilet before my group get off with guide. Beautiful young lady followed me to stop and telling you can’t use the toilet without realising I am with the customer. She apologised but Restaurant like this why they would they stop someone like me well dressed and I could be a customers now or in the future!!! I still give 4 star as I not order the food! Great place to dine. My boyfriend and I ordered a lobster roll and Mac & Cheese to share. We were really impressed by the amount of lobster inside the roll. The mac & cheese also came with lobster bits and it had that slightly charred taste that adds on to the flavour. However, the restaurant looked kind of shabby from the outside and we were unsure whether this was the authentic Burger & Lobster.

Burger oddly watery and did not taste of much. Severed on a piece of paper on an iron platter. Hard not to eat the odd but of paper unless you tackled the big beast with your fingers. The lobster looked good but I didn't have it except as a croquette starter, good value at £9.50. Gourmet, Byron and Honest all better burgers to be frank. Atmosphere quite noisy and fun. It's Christmas.

I like the concept of feast meals so everyone can try both at the same time. Combination of burger and lobster is OK, but I wouldn't order burger again. My partner ordered beast burger and it was good, but my burger that came together with lobster combo was tastless. I really liked a lobster roll with brioche bun and garlic sauce, but if I'm honest, since the burger wasn't too good to pay £33 for that combo is a bit pricey because basically lobster roll is the only delicious meal on that plate. Order it separately.

Lobster is very good and you can have it either boiled or grilled or if you can't decide you can ask for it half and half. The sauce is also delicious. The last time I went the burger was not very good, the patty was too dense and the bun soggy. There was only one lady serving, not sure what the other waiters in our section were doing, in particular one stood in a corner wiping glasses and ignored us several times. It's a Shane their Holborn branch closed it was a nice restaurant and the people were lovely.

A simple menu, serving what it says in the name at good prices. A fun, informal, lively atmosphere, you feel encouraged to tuck and get your fingers into that pink lobster. The waiters in this particular branch are very friendly and engaging, they look like they are having a good time so you feel relaxed. I have visited twice and both times the lobster was overcooked and therefore a bit chewy / dry.

I have a wonderful experience in Mayfair branch, so I came here for another experience. Unfortunately, the lobster meat is dryer and smaller here. Staff is with strong non-England accent so I can't hardly understand him. Thus, I order lobster salad turns out a 1.25lb lobster which I already tasted in Mayfair store, a little disappointed. I am still willing to back and recommend to my friends, but won't be at oxford circus branch.

The food is exactly as it says on the tin - burger and lobster. Don't come here expecting pizza and chicken. There IS an option for vegans. Our waiter was helpful and friendly, also asked if anyone had any food allergies which is a good proactive step. I expected just a little bit more from the food. Can't put my finger on it. Perhaps the temperature, the presentation or the quantity. I can tell you I've had better fries at KFC, Burger King and McDonalds and a better burger at Whetherpoons. But otherwise it's good enough for me to have returned to Burger & Lobster a few times over a few years. I've tried both the burger and the lobster and I am reasonably happy with both.

The branch we went to near Fitzrovia was dirty & smelly especially as you head from the stairs to the loo. Stale kitchen smells. The loos were too dirty for my liking too. If that was my restaurant I'd be looking into it. Can't imagine going again.

Burger and lobster have now become a chain, from its earlier beginnings in Green Park, the lobster claws have now gripped various other parts of London. The prices for the lobsters have also risen as a result. The quality remains good, however. If you didn’t know, Burger and Lobster do two things. Burger and Lobster. Who would have thought it eh? Well, I’ve been about 15 times. Firstly, that tells you I rate it. Secondly it’s worth knowing that I have ALWAYS got the Lobster. The whole lobster steamed or grilled is fabulous value for money and on the money in terms of taste. I must say though you’re not getting the whole lobster that the Lobster Roll tastes divine and I get that when I cannot be bothered to pick the meat out of shells. I’m not sure why a burger would be £20 or if it is THAT good. Surely not? But you won’t be disappointed with any Lobster choice.
