Strangely empty, especially given the burgers and sweet potato fries and dipping sauces are so good. Really enjoyed the food and the service was great. Definitely worth popping in for.

Opposite the Brunswick shopping area. Seats around 50 people. Nice and cozy. The menu is great. House burger was excellent. Beef patty was medium to well. Veggie burger was very good. Fries were light fluffy and crispy. Lightest fries I’ve had. Not greasy at all. The chicken burger was deep fried in a batter like you get in a fish and chip shop. Amazing portion. The milkshakes were done properly. They have a Mr. Whippy machine. Pretty amazing. Recommended if you’re in the area. Spanish speaking bossette. Fun and friendly.

Found this little place near the hotel me and the missus was staying at and I'm glad we did. The Buffalo chicken burger with extra bacon was delicious and my girlfriend had the Windsor and said it was the best burger she exercise had!
Definitely recommend if you enjoy a good burger
B. B.
It was a great surprise to discover this place. Fair amount of burgers & sandwich options, cared preparation, interesting flavour mixes and good quality ingredients. We did not try the shakes, however we can recommend the Windsor burguer and the unpretentious yet delicious sweet potato fries!
Definitivey, a worthy option if you are around and prefer not to favour low-quality fast food chains.

Visited when staying near kings cross. The staff were great, and the service was also not rushed.
We ordered a little too much and should have shared fries. In terms of burgers we eat the New Yorker and Phillie cheese stake, both were great and I would recommend either.
I couldn't leave without trying a shake, this gave me brain freeze but tasted nice.
If I'm in the area again I would pop in.
T. R.
Delightful little place. We stumbled across it and very glad to have stepped in! There was room, decent selection, very good portions, decent prices considering the area and delicious milkshakes. Genuinely couldn’t finish the fries! One to bring visitors too!
M. M.
Great burgers, one of my favourite burger restaurants in London. Now a good range of different beef burgers with some chicken options. Good selection of sides too. The shakes are good with some alcoholic ones and a good range of beers. Quite small, better for small groups
A. M.
I’ve eaten far too many times here. I only order one thing. The Vegetarian burger. A massive piece of halloumi cheese with a portobello mushroom. And of course some crispy fries. You honestly can not go wrong with this combination. Lovely place, service is always exceptional. A winner every single time.

Simply awesome service and food from the team at Burger & Shake.
Store itself is neat, clean and has a great vibe going on with upbeat music playing.
The staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.
The burgers were simply amazing; filling and very good quality. The sides were equally as good.
If you are staying in the hotels nearby like the Royal National and want a great bite to eat, a quick 3 minute walk is all and you'll find burger nirvana.

I liked the business model they have and the vanilla milkshake especially. The hamburgers differ in bread and the potatoes are very good. Very good sauces. It is essential to try it.
A.
How can I explain this? Food was very good, high quality and extremely tasty. Flavours worked very well together to give an amazing burger. Fries were variable and were perfectly suited to individual's needs. They were hot & fresh. Shakes were cold and flavoursome. I highly recommend The Windsor, plain fries and a salted caramel shake - as pictured. Staff were kind and attentive, and they accommodated well. Food wasn't fantastic value for money however wasn't expensive either. Overall a great experience and I would definitely go again.

Best burger bar around. Went for a quick bite whilst in London before going on honeymoon and was just blown away by the service and quality of food.
So good we and 8 others went as a crowd and were thoroughly looked after.
H. M.
Recently discovered this place. Hidden gem is what this is. Food and service on point!! If you after a good ol burger and shake look no further... pictures don't lie... trust me.
D. W.
Burgers were top notch (and cooked medium rare, as God intended). Fries were great accompaniment. Chelo, our server/manager, was so kind and spent lots of time interacting with my kids. Cool, cozy setting with fast service and delicious food. Would recommend and will return.

AMAZING!
Staying in this part of London for a few days and found this little place near where out hotel was.
The smell of burgers when you walk in is soo good. The staff are very friendly, polite and welcoming.
I tried the Cheeseburger with fries and onion rings. There are no complaints about any of the food. Everthing was sooo tasty, nd loved that these tasted home made and not commercial! They also serve the patties here medium rare, but you can ask for it cooked differently.
If i ever have a craving nd am in London, will definitely be back for a burger or two!

Shrimp burger is a must! So delicious! Yet expensive too. £8-9 for just one shrimp burger. There is a lunch set, but this lunch set menu isn’t given and I don’t know why. Only certain burgers are included in the lunch set (includes fries only as a side+ soft drinks). My friends ordered the Jalapeño burger, with medium well beef. But the beef was apparently medium rare. Two of my friends ordered Jalapeño burgers and the next day they all have diarrhoea. So never order any beef burger if u wanna eat here. Or else, i will strongly recommend you all to go ED’s DINER instead, their burgers are really delicious, cheaper and their milk shake is supreme!
A. T.
A bright, compact and clean burger bar, with simple but slick modern decor. Burgers, fries, milkshakes and sides are memorably very tasty and portions are a good size. Our bill for 2 greedy folk came to £44.33 with service, which seemed fair. If we are in the area again we would definitely seek this place out for a second visit.
R. D.
Original, yummi, good service and amazing burger. Worth a tour to have one!
J. M.
I was quite happy with the burger. Good meat, good cheese, good bread. Maybe missing a killer sauce. But overall really good burger. Sides were just ok.
A. H.
Pretty solid burger but price is more on the higher end.
A. G.
Good choice of burgers and other dishes such as Chilli Dog. Selection of bottled beers including London Meantime and Goose IPA. Pity about the "optional" 12.5 service charge hike. I'd rather choose what I give but feel obligated to pay the charge.
S. g.
The food and the atmosphere are amazing plus the staff are super friendly .. I tried the sweet potatoes & the New Yorker with a twist - I replaced the beef with grilled chicken.. my heart is melting
C. W.
Very nice burger. Had the New Yorker, sweet potato fries with hazelnut shake. Star off for the 12.5% service charge.
ג. ס.
Amazing burgers, great service, great price. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!!!
B. D.
A lovely little place, warm, clean and cosy. The food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. I have a peanut allergy and when I asked them about the peanut butter in some of their shakes, they were happy to clean the equipment before making my shake. The burgers here are great and easily rival other, bigger gourmet burger chains who hire people who are sometimes less than enthusiastic about their job. The people who work here obviously enjoy what they do. It's a hidden gem and definitely worth a visit by anyone who enjoys burgers or milkshakes.
R. H.
Had the lunch special offer. Cheeseburger, fries and a soft drink for £11.50 which felt reasonable. The burger was delicious. I appreciate that they serve burgers medium rare, you can taste the quality of their Scottish beef. The setting is laid back and simple. A nice little burger joint.
N. H.
Exactly what you'd expect. Amazing burgers and amazing milkshakes. Well priced, lots to choose from and friendly service.
E. L.
Good burgers but bad staff, no wi-fi and service takes ages during week lunchtime.
S. &. B. A.
Fabulous burgers and huge milkshakes that take you back to your childhood or a diner in New York - or both perhaps!
The Windsor burger was incredible - melt in the mouth tasty.
The Buffalo chicken burger was delicious, hot spicy and all round scrummy!
You may need to book at busier times, it got very busy while we were there.
Thank you to the team at Burger and Shake - well be back.
B. C.
Great little place. Food was very good, can tell they care about the quality. Came out quick and portion size for the price was excellent. Good beer selection to accompany the meal, attentive staff. Would definitely come back when in the area. If it’s peak period I would suggest booking as it would fill up quickly.
E. G.
Went for the simple lunch menu - no frills just a well cooked medium rare burger and brilliant chips - well priced too.
C. M.
Exceeded our expectations. A last minute decision on the way to kings cross. Simple food, well done at a good price and very friendly.
E. F.
The burgers and shakes from this place were unsurprisingly fantastic, as you'd hope it's name.
Had the pulled pork burger which you know just has to be good, and it sure was. Sweet potato chips on the side, beautiful and sweet. And a big milkshake that was a bit of a struggle to finish due to its surprising size. Was a great place for a lunch and would absolutely return if I was in the area.
R. R.
I love this place.Excellent taste on reliable rates.I like to spend my office break time here.It food has own uniqueness and taste.
A. M.
Definitely one of the nicest burgers I've had! It's a cosy atmosphere and the staff is really nice. Food arrived fairly quickly as well. If you're in the area and feeling like having a burger, definitely visit this place
s. B.
Good food, good company! The interior is lovely and the service is just good to talk to and very friendly. The milkshakes are delicious. All burgers and the grilled cheese sandwich are really tasty! We went there like three times while we were in town. Best burger place in the area!
J. L.
This place is great! Visiting from Austin, TX so I'm used to good burgers and shakes. Exceeded expectations. The fries (or chips as they call them) were the best I had in London. Burgers were delicious. My daughter loved their pulled pork sandwich. My kids ate at this place 3 times in the week we were visiting.
R. B.
Really nice burger joint, tucked out if the way down marchmont street. Burger was tasty as were the fries. The place is small, but not cramped & has a nice laid back atmosphere. Lose a star because we had to remind them about a shake that never turned up & they managed to get the order wrong twice... (3 covers). If you like burgers it's worth a try.
J. G.
I have been here 7 or 8 times. Each time the food and service was spot on. For the first few times I went I tried the burgers with more interesting toppings (pulled pork etc...) which were all very juicy and flavoursome.
On about my 4th visit I tried the basic standard burger, not giving the chef any where to hide. It was great, perfectly cooked, juicy and bursting with flavour.
The hotdogs are also good, it is a pretty good deal for £7, you get a hot dog and fries!
Burger and Shake, please don't let your standards drop, your doing a great job!
R. S.
Great food, atmosphere and staff. The food is delivered quickly and it's really tastefull. We have been here three times and could not be more happy. My son had a shake every time and those where high points of the evenings.
F. S.
Hamburger was incredible at the point, the dessert was incredible too and the decoration very nice, the Spanish chef very kind to me (he was eating a pizza) and then he went to smoke a cigar and he asked me if I smoked and he invite a cigar for me without knowing anything about me. 10/10 for the treatment and service there, highly recommended, a greeting to the waiter too
G. C.
Subtly American style burger joint (booths but no neon). Really tasty food and drink at great prices, including regular style burgers and fries, but also burgers that set them apart, like the shrimp and salmon burger for under £10, and their huge milkshakes which are so thick they must be made with icecream. Friendly, helpful staff and great atmosphere in an independent restaurant with character. Thank you.
b. p.
House burger was excellent, juicy hamburger with well chosen condiments & dressings. Wonderful crisp sweet potato fries. Salted caramel milk shake was sweet, well salted & thick with ice cream. Busy in the early evening but if they offer to reserve you a table in 10-15 minutes, they mean it. Say yes, come back & enjoy.
D. P.
Wonderful burgers. So glad we found you through Google maps. With so many places to choose from, the reviews and pictures were a great help in making our decision. I've already recommended to family and friends.
We stopped in this afternoon (January 4, 2018) to re-visit. Our burgers were just as good as they were when we visited two years ago.
F. B.
One of my favorite burger place in town. All varieties are delicious, good milkshakes and their chocolate fondant is awesome. Owner and waiters are very kind and available. Service is fast. Music is funky but not too loud. Place is small and cosy, nicely late 70's decorated touch. Truly lovely place.
S.
The caramel salted milkshake was delicious and the burgers was juicy. The fries are okay. Would definitely recommend if you're look for a burger place in Bloomsbury.
M. B.
Great service, great food, great shakes
S. V.
Nice small burger/hotdog place. They cook burgers medium rare which is how it should be. Bit on the pricey side and the portions are fairly small but then again it's London, so nothing out of the ordinary. Staff seems genuinely friendly and was very attentive. I plan to eat here again.
J. C. S.
Love the restaurant. From the cost yet private set up to the delicious burgers and the friendly staff, this is an ideal place for a date. Burgers are well priced, the pulled pork is a favourite and must be tried. Go at least twice - once for the pulled pork and once for a big burger. Staff are always friendly and helpful too.
E. S.
Love this place. The burgers are cooked great! Not sure about the other reviews, as the servers ALWAYS ask if you want your burger medium rare. Nice and juicy, with lots of flavor.
The wings are also great here!
I eat here several times a week and would recommend it to all.
H. F.
Burger was pretty good. 8/10. Fries were fresh and hot. 9/10. Was disappointed by the shake a bit though. I always get a vanilla malt shake, but something seemed a bit off on the taste. Disappointing. I'd give the shake a 4/10. Probably just me and my wierd American taste though.
Spent about 16 GBP for a burger, fries, and the shake.
A.
Best burger place in the area, definitely superior to the chains. Real depth of flavour to their burgers, rather than a posh farm-branded hockey puck of meat. Cooked really well too: rare means rare, medium-rare means medium-rare, which doesn't happen as often as it should (especially in pubs). Sides are good too. Very busy though, tough to get a table.
M. S.
Great burgers and shakes, and service was attentive and friendly, and the vibe is pretty relaxed (in keeping with the location: nice and chilled). Prices are reasonable for London, too, which was a bonus. We didn't book ahead, but were perhaps lucky to get a table more or less straightaway. Recommended!
J. K.
Had the House Burger here and I liked it. It's an overall good burger, quality meat, but it and then bun a little too dry for my liking. On the other hand, cured bacon is absolutely out of this world. Together with nice fries it ended up being an enjoyable meal.
s.
some good burgers! and I'm from cali, the price is meh
D. C.
Good burger - almost great. The pulled pork is very good. The chips - both potato and sweet potato - were not as flavorful, are oily, and £2-£3 for a small portion. 4 stars because of quick and friendly service, and the pulled pork. Likely to return!
A. P.
What a find,. Just moved to the area and am over the moon I found this place. I came in last night around 8:30, place was pretty busy and had a great atmosphere. The manager and the Spanish waitress were fantastic. The house burger was incredible, sweet potato chips fab and all washed down with an IPA. I can't recommend this place enough, Delicious food, cool music and comfortable buzzing atmosphere.
D. G.
とてもおいしかった。Great food, quick service and good beer.
W. H.
Dazzling inside! old however polished, incredible staff, most pleasant fries ever with delectable burgers. Nice shakes! costs are not all that terrible either would prescribe
w. h.
Lovely inside! old but stylish, great staff, nicest fries ever with tasty burgers. Very nice shakes! prices are not too bad either would definitely recommend
K. B.
Nice small resturant with amazing staff. Burgers were amazing, fries were great, onion rings tasted brilliant and the alcoholic milkshakes topped it off.
The staff were super attentive and helpful. It really was a piece of paradise.
R. G.
A cosy but cool atmosphere. I had fantastic New York burger, and fries with cheese sauce, both were excellent. There was a modest but nice selection of beers too. Would happily visit again. Bravo!
T. S. P.
Fantastic burgers and amazing milkshakes. A trip here is always delicious. Great location and popular with students. There's often good music playing as you sit in a diner influenced bench seat. Not the cheapest but you should spoil yourself!
E. S.
The jalapeño burger is amazing. I like the atmosphere of this place... Small and quiet and the price is reasonable
I.
A small restaurant with a fairly limited menu but don't let that put you off. As the name suggests burgers of various styles are their staple dish but they do also have a great chilli dog (my favorite). The quality of the food is good as are the portion sizes. For good food in pleasent surroundings you won't go far wrong if you try Burger and Shake.
A. R.
You can say the very simple, fantastic concept with fantastic tasty burger, absolutely amazing Milkshakes, great service and not least super kid friendly. It's definitely not the last time me and my family put their teeth into a Burger & Shake.
S. E.
We were really lucky to find this gem near Russel Square. It's a cosy little burger restaurant - I highly recommend booking in advance as it was nearly full by the time we left! The food is exceptionally tasty, and cheaper than the average meal out in London. I'll definitely be back there again!
J. B.
Always a pleasure to visit and I am made very welcome from the moment I enter my needs are always catered for and the food especially the poppers are wonderful. The soft lighting and music always creates a very good ambiance which always makes it a great place to visit. Thank you Burger and Shake I will see you soon.
T. H.
Randomly went in here after buying food to make a meal because the burgers on the table by the window looked so good. We weren't disappointed! Really quick and friendly service, but not rushed. The burgers were great and so were the chips. Would definitely go back and/or recommend this place.
C. P.
Had the new yorker very tasty burger, went for medium and was excellent. Fries were pretty good as well. A tad on the expensive side plus the beer was over a fiver for a bottle of goose which is a bit excessive
N. E.
Love this place you. This time I tried the chicken club and it was a banger really nice! Portions are also really great with my wife and I sharing onion rings, chili fries and a sandwich each and that was plenty. Not to mention the shakes.
M. S.
Pretty good buffalo chicken burger, mediocre jalapeño poppers (not actually served in the pepper, but rather a deep fried gloop), decent sweet potato fries. Quite pricey for what you get. Very pleasant staff. Go by if you’re in the area, but no need to go out of your way.
J. A.
We went to this place repeatedly, the food is very good but the principal reason to come back was Margot: this girl is amazing! She’s patient, attentive, nice and extremely good deal and sweetness. Congratulations to his boss because she is pure gold. I recommend it!
W. B.
Top notch service, super juicy medium rare burgers, love the music
P. L.
House burger is good but chicken burger is so over fried
C. W.
First for me here after trying a few burger places in London. Menu is basic so you don't have to spend a lot of time choosing which can be a good thing. Burgers are not outlandish but very moreish and lovely. Simple but lovingly done is how I would describe it.
I would come back here because I love shakes and found the salted caramel shake unusual and highly appreciated. The hotel wings are not for me as I would prefer hot and sticky rather than hot and wet!
R. G.
A cosy but cool atmosphere. I had fantastic New York burger, and fries with cheese sauce, both were excellent. There was a modest but nice selection of beers too. Would happily visit again. Bravo!
A. T.
Probably one of the best burger places near Kings Cross. Absolutely fantastic burgers with a clean meaty flavour. Absolutely recommended.
d. w.
This place is amazing! I've just finished my burger and had to make sure I put a review up. The food is delicious and the staff are laid back and courteous. Will be back again

Exceptional service and great food. I can't thank Magnus enough, he fussed over both my children on our two visits here, nothing was to much trouble. If you are in the area and fancy a good burger? This place nails it.
J. O.
Small burger restaurant, very cozy! The food options are decent, and the quality is superb! Very tasty burgers and chips, and the milkshakes are very food as well!

Happy staff, delicious food, fast service. Couldn't fault it. I had the Philadelphia Cheese Steak burger, others had a cheeseburger and a chicken burger. All were amazing!
T. O.
Oh. My. Lordy. Lordy. Such a shame I don't live closer as this would be my new favourite eatery. Fantastic shakes, and burgers cooked too perfection!
Was busy when we visited but server dealt with everything perfectly well.
Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
V.
Excellent burgers in an American styled diner. Get the pulled pork burger mmmmmmm. Staff is not very chatty or nice but they do their job well. It is a small place so not really good for groups.
B. A.
Second visit one year later: The burgers were still as good (apart from the mix up in how the meat was cooked). By default they cook their burgers medium-rare (lower than most other places - GREAT!), but should be able to accommodate any other request all the way to well-done. The shakes leave a lot to be desired, too icy and devoid of much taste. The salted caramel shake we had tasted of fudge and was very mild.
But the biggest let down is the lighting, which has changed since Jan 2017. Gone are the warm incadescent bulbs and the cozy atmosphere - replaced by cold white LED bulbs that are not only too dim for the space but make it feel cold and unwelcoming. I had a great experience here last time and I mainly went again for the same, so although they probably deserve 4 stars, they'll only get three. No business should chnage so much for the worst in 12 months.
A. M.
I walked past it by accident one day and immediately decided it was my new favourite place. Excellent burgers, wonderful shakes (as the name suggests), very reasonably priced, and look a lot like one of those boutique burger shacks you find in New York (think secret burger joint but not so secret). They do a mean pulled pork sandwich as well and the fries are a dream.
C. C.
Nice place, very small so there are not that many clients when it is full thus you get your burger pretty quick!
I took the house burger which was DELICIOUS! I am a burger fan and I travel a lot in Europe, I love Cool Bun in Brussels and Boom! in Sofia, this one is for now my favorite in London (but I have been told there are plenty to try :) )
T. R.
A small restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Burgers and Fries are quite good!!
G. (.
So I heard about this new burger joint. That's not unusual in Londinium, there seems to be a new burger joint opening up every week and each of them is better than the other. The buns are usually made with some great great grandmother's best friend's mum's recipe. The burgers are made with meat that is miraculously more organic than the other organic burgers the other joints made, or the food miles are so low they may as well have slaughtered the beast out back before it hit the mincer.
Yet through all this the generally amazing burgers - and they are amazing - don't *really* stray from each other in quality, the decor is never that different, the fries are always... well... fries.
Burger Shake is no exception to this rule. If anything (and I'm being uncharacteristically harsh here) it's not up to par. The food tastes great, yes. The milkshake was good (not as good as some I've had) and the place was cute, but it was missing something.
I can't put my finger on it I'm afraid, it's just a feeling about it. It's done nicely, it's cosy, but there is just something, *something* missing.
I don't think you'd be disappointed for coming here in the slightest, for what it's worth. If you want a slice of London 'burger culture' then you could go far, far wrong.
H. B.
Friendly cosy neighbourly spotlessly clean. Lovely staff, great burgers, buns, the ruins & beef hotdogs - our usual. Sometimes beer, sometimes wine. Good portions, top quality ingredients. All excellent & very reasonable prices for London. A must before or after a film at the local Curzon.
S. L.
Exceptional service and great food. I can't thank Magnus enough, he fussed over both my children on our two visits here, nothing was to much trouble. If you are in the area and fancy a good burger? This place nails it.
M. P.
Very good burgers, fries and shakes. A lovely place where you feel like home. The staff is extraordinary friendly!
F. M.
Cheeseburgers okay but the New Yorker butger was salty. Not recommending the chilli chips too oily. The atmosphere is quite casual but music is quite loud. Don't understand why it's so overpriced and charge you additional 12.5% service plus VAT. More expensive than it sounded when ordering. Overrall friendly staff and great milkshakes.
C. C.
Cozy little place. Excellent vanilla milkshake. We had the House og Pulled pork burgers with fries/sweet potato fries and they were very good.
P. B.
Good selection of burgers which are all well cooked. Chilli fries are particularly good and service is excellent. Can be quite busy in the evening, so either book or risk a wait.
J. L.
Burger was okay, food was overall nice enough. The atmosphere is quite casual and music is quite loud. Don't understand why it's so overpriced tho- they charge you additional service fee and VAT when paying so it is quite more expensive than it sounded when ordering.
C. W.
Excellent little burger joint, the burgers were very tasty and the hazelnut shake was to die for. Staff were friendly and the decor was nice. Overall a great place to eat!
F. C. S.
Best burguer that I have ever eaten in London and, perhaps, in my life. I strongly recommend to order the burguer of the house. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! Some take away offers.
B. S.
I've visited this place twice. Unfortunately manager & staff rather unfriendly and indifferent. Our lunchtime visit cost £30 for 2. This included two cheeseburgers, one chilli fries, one coleslaw and two soft drinks. To be honest wouldn't rush back unless it was managed and priced more attractively.
M. S.
No secret ingredients, no recipes that were handed down over the generations. Just simple burgers, generous portions of fries and really HOT buffalo chicken wings. All washed down with a milkshake or their signature cocktail the Ovaltini - delicious mix of malt shake, rum and tequila. The burgers are served medium-rare (as they should be) in perfectly golden brown brioche bun. The decor is minimalist and the music isn't too loud. Fairly unknown right now, so quick to get a seat - but I daresay that will be the case for long.
Hint: The buffalo wings were probably the best I have had in London!
I. R.
It's a nice place with decent food, but it only gets 3 stars because it's just above average in terms of size, location and atmosphere. The staff is super friendly, serving was fast and the food great, but nothing extraordinary as far as I could tell from my first visit.
U. T.
Very impressed with the quality of the cheese burger and fries. Much better than the chains. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other burgers
J. A.
Great service. Food is ok - had to send back my burger as it was red raw unfortunately, but second one was medium rare as expected. No fuss was made though which is good
J. V.
This place was around the corner from our heinous hotel (The GoodWood), and maybe a block and a half from the Russell? Underground stop. It is a small place, but the burgers and shakes were delicious. Very clean, good prices for London also.
C. R.
Happy staff, delicious food, fast service. Couldn't fault it. I had the Philadelphia Cheese Steak burger, others had a cheeseburger and a chicken burger. All were amazing!
S. L.
Not too far from Euston station. Good food, good staff, and good location.
S. P.
We went here (2 of us) a month ago and had a great time with the burgers and Ovaltini. But the location was far away from both of us, so we did't go again but kept talking about it and have planned another trip this week. So it must be good !!!!
Order the brilliant wings, a burger and the Ovaltini and you won't regret it !!!
S.
Cole slaw from heaven! B&S is one of the first spots we're heading to when we're in London. Burgers are perfectly grilled and our absolute favourite dish is the unbelieavable homemade cole slaw. Please stay there forever 😍
A. H.
Great American style shakes with good attentive service, salmon and shrimp burger was a bit too crumbly. The sides were also on the larger side which is great!
S.
I’ve been here once and I’d definitely come back. The place though small is nice, the staff friendly and the burger I had delicious! Prices are reasonable.
R. C.
This is the best of its genre I have tasted. It's not "gourmet"but does what it set out to do incredibly well. Any place that does a side order of Macaroni cheese with Bacon with a burger and fries gets my vote.
D. T.
Great little place. Friendly. Had the cheeseburger - good meat cooked medium-rare, really well seasoned. Also the malted vanilla shake was great.
Z. S. (.
The vegetarian burger had a good consistency, similar to meat. The fries and onion rings were good too. Nice cosy setting, however there was no WiFi.

The New York Burger provides something slightly special in combining the flavor profile of a New York pastrami sandwich with a buger. The chili cheese poppers are also the best I have ever had. Good spot.
Y. H.
I love this place! It has the tastiest burgers I've ever had at reasonable prices. I've told my friends about this place and everyone who tried it, loved it!
Definitely try the Buffalo Chicken Burger and/or the wings!
J. G.
Burgers are amazing
Defo worth a visit 😊🍔🍟
N. A. N.
The best burgers I've tried in London! And super friendly service. Chips left a little to be desired but overall a good experience.
C.
Burger was alright - not really special in my opinion. Also had the nacho and I think it was too spicy. The milkshake was great though. Service was alright.
J. S.
Decent burger (buffalo chicken burger with blue cheese sauce), great milkshake.
The service was good and the overall vibe of Burger and Shake was relaxed and casual dining.
J. B.
Excellent burgers and fries from a simplistic and no fuss shop. Affordable lunch deals for the area. My go to for a burger in this area and would recommend to anyone
F. A.
New Yorker burger was 4/5. Shrimp &salmon burgers was 2/5 as it tased more vegetarian! Salted caramel shake was 5/5. Small and decent place.
N. G.
GREAT ONION RINGS! The vegetarian burger is stellar too. Also the best grilled cheese I’ve had to date.
J. O.
Small burger restaurant, very cozy! The food options are decent, and the quality is superb! Very tasty burgers and chips, and the milkshakes are very food as well!
N. T.
Such a wholesome little burger-spot. Amazing burgers! I've visited every time I've been in London so far, and plan on visiting again soon.
J. L.
I love Burgers and Shakes so this really hit the spot. Good price and very tasty. If your in or around Russel Sq Marchmount St and not sure where to go, I would recommend.
A. V.
The food is ok. I had the mac and bacon and was a bit dry, the salted caramel shake was good and the sweet potato chips were really good. It's a good option if you are in the area.
A. P.
Awesome burgers, friendly workers, cheap price
V. M.
Great burgers, Good sweet potato fries, yummy shakes n nice flavours. Friendly staff. Good place for many different occasions
M. G.
I liked it! Fitted is in when we showed up without a reservation (and they were busy!)
Had the Philly Cheese and a shake and they were very nice.
D. O.
This is my favourite Burger place in London, I can't believe it isn't full everyday. Burger is amazing, the chips are actually golden in colour... And the mac n cheese...
Go you will not regret it.
A. M.
Competent, but burger-crazed London has better places than this (Honest Burger, for example). Generally on a par with Byron, although I didn't like their vanilla milkshake at all (it was *ridiculously* sweet), which was a bit disappointing given the name.
J. M.
Amazing burgers. Skip the cheese sauce on the fries. It's good cheese sauce, but not the best. Serves old Dominion root beer, if that's your thing.
E. W.
Amazing burgers and milkshakes. It was obviously very busy when we came but we had wonderful and friendly service. Thank you. :)
A. T.
Probably one of the best burger places near Kings Cross. Absolutely fantastic burgers with a clean meaty flavour. Absolutely recommended.
A. M.
If you are looking for a place with good food and drinks for cheap money, then Burger & Shake is the place! There is an incredibly cozy and warm atmosphere at the restaurant, which guarantees a good evening.
M.
Yo hands down best burger I've ever had! Im from Melbourne and nothing compares to this. Best customer service!! 11 out of 10
P. C.
Is this place shut down??
They never answer the phone, email messages bounce and there's zero availability for online booking, almost a month in advance.
s. w.
best burger I have ever had, got the grizzly with HolyF*ck sauce. Have got it three times inow just to make sure and undoubtedly the best burger I have ever had!
B. B.
Very tasty burger and good milkshake.
2 burgers, 2 chips and 2 milkshake at 35£ is a bit expensive, not that expensive in Norway and everything is expensive there 😁
C. B.
Great burgers, no doubt about it!! The milk shake was awesome. Would love to give 4 1/2 stars.
D. B.
Great burgers but fantastic buffalo wings. Closest to Dublins Elephant and Castle that I have come across (apart from the portion size)
K. T.
Really nice homemade burgers, sides and shakes. Prices are good and service is excellent. Nothing to fault here.
J. C.
Pulled pork sandwich and burgers were okay. Were excited to try the milkshakes but the machine was broken the day we went so we didn't get to try them. Staff was friendly enough. Nothing special.
M. W.
Great food, good service. This place does exactly what it says in the name. Burgers were good, as was the Ovaltiny hard shake.
A. C.
Nice small place, with a typical American cantine atmosphere. Good burgers, good fries, good bottled beers. Usually really crowded and so a tad noisy...
P. K.
Lovely little spot for a burger. Have the chicken burger, it's amazing! Obviously gets busy on weekday lunchtimes.
C. T.
Casa Tua is a wonderful mediterranean Restaurant where you can eat homemade dishes like pasta and melanzane alla parmigiana. The staff is friendly and the location unique with typical italian photo and music. I advise everyone to go!!!
C. “. P.
Great food, amazing shakes, exactly what it says on the sign. Don't get the Buffalo Chicken Burger unless you want very hot food. Save yourself.
s. s.
Very tasty burger, good value and very friendly, helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
M. W.
Good burger but the medium burger was rare. Shakes were ok, not particularly flavorable. Fries were good.
B. P.
Amazing food and Excellent Service. Coffee has its own uniqueness in taste.I like to celebrate my son birthday party at there.
I. P.
Nice burgers and beautifully cold shakes! Always surprised there isn't a queue here.
E. S.
Pretty good burgers, although promoting undercooked is controversial. Like the boozy shakes but not the cheese sauce or the moody waitress
N. M.
Food was okay I got the halloumi burger. Staff were nice. Cosy small place.
N. D.
Great place for a burger! 100% recommended for unique atmosphere, meet well done and kind service.
T. S.

A lovely little gem of a place. Quaint and characterful with a straightforward menu of good burgers.
L. B.
The food was nice, you just need to remember to fries on the side as burger does not come with them
J. C.
Small, intimate burger place. The burgers are excellent, the sides are ok, the service is not always super-friendly but efficient.
J. G.
The house burger has got to be one of the best in London. Perfectly cooked and with punchy flavors.

G. W.
Burger was fine, but not as good they should be for a 'burger place'. Shake was very good.
M. D.
Yes definitely the boys when it come to Burgers ... Medium Rare is the standard but they will cook more to cater for customer requirements
M. S.
House burger and mac&cheese.
Super friendly staff, hidden gem. On my list of top London burger gaffs!
A. S.
Good food and fast service, even at a busy lunchtime. Rather expensive but I think that might be just London prices. Delicious salted caramel milkshake
