Will definitely recommend lovely ambience, loved the music, food was good crispy Bhindi was little oily the staff immediately gave us new one. Cocktails was lovely..belly dancer specially preformed near our table on request.. over all experience was awesome..we were served by Hetal and Ria both of them took good care of us ...a happy customer 😊

We decided to try having Indian food for dinner, and it was great. The whole family enjoyed their food! - the food was delicious, and even when one of us didn't like what we had picked for him, everybody else did - the serving sizes are pretty big. (We were worried when we saw the container that the mix tandoori grill were in, only to find out that there was more than one!) We bought the mix tandoori grill, the lamb biryani, the chicken tikka wrap (I highly recommend!!!), lamb khara masala and a garlic naan. All in all, it was an enjoyable experience.

Lovely food. We were served by Maryam who was very attentive and ensured our experience was a pleasant one. The only thing I didn’t like was that the smell from the adjacent Tiger Bay sheesha pipes could be smelt in the main restaurant. I was not too happy with this as we had our little girl with us.

Restaurant review only: Nice decor, comfortable seating, clean toilets. Parking very limited. Food is Gorgeous with a capital G. Prices reflect well on quality and quantity! The food is very authentic although is a section of Indochinese food too. A few standard beers on tap, wine selection and even cocktails. Staff were very friendly (special shout out to the male staff, maybe manager) he made us feel well looked after and attentive. This place made my evening.

Lovely traditional Indian cuisine. The biryani, mixed grill and crispy lamb are exceptional. Spacious Sheesha garden at back. Can get very busy on a Friday and Saturday night. If you're a sheesha smoker, this is a go to place. The sheesha is not too harsh and is reqularly recoaled. What's more there are a good selection of desserts and the milkshake is made with thick whippy ice cream!

Celebrated at Carlton Lounge / Tiger Bar for a post civil wedding reception party. We had booked the newly renovated dining area at the back outside in the secret garden area (previously the old karoga area). There is an amazing little pond with real fish, walkover bridge and a large waterfall feature that makes for a lovely calming atmosphere. Hardik directly dealt with our booking and managed the entire event which went very well. He and his team set out tables with linen, new chairs and were able to arrange a surprise champagne toast on arrival of the bride and groom. We were a party of 30 people with everyone ordering cocktails and food a la carte at random times and the Carlton Lounge team did not disappoint in both the speed of drinks arrival and the quality of the food that was delivered to the tables. We actually overstayed our booking by almost one full hour but were never rushed and were treated with great respect. We even managed to order two takeaway deliveries to be sent directly back home for some guests that could not attend on the day. AMAZING SERVICE! We used the rest of the landscaped garden area to take larger group photos, something to keep in mind for anyone thinking of hosting a similar event. After the reception party was over and many of the guests had left we asked for a smaller table in the garden area for a group of five, thought it might be a problem as Tiger Bay was getting quite busy at that time, but no problem at all for the team! They moved our drinks/food to the new table and we continued to celebrate into the late evening. We received positive feedback from all of the guests that attended with regard to the amazing food, great tasting cocktails, great atmosphere of the venue and great staff that handled everything thrown at them. We will 100% be hosting future events at Carlton Lounge and recommend their event management to anyone!

This is the fourth time I'm ordering from Carlton Lounge and there's a reason why. The food is seriously fabulous, they give very good portions and the quality of the food is excellent. As I said, 4 times, and no complaints whatsoever - have tried fish, chicken, paneer so far and all have been sumptuous. Always delivered on time or before time. Just waiting for the lockdown to be over so that I can finally visit this place and enjoy the fantastic food in person.

Place is nice and has great cocktails, however some members of staff very rude. People were still eating at 9.40pm they only just got their food and this waiter told them to leave in 5 minutes. We all have been rushed to leave the place at 9.45 even the closing time was at 10. We have been told that we can stay until 10 to finish our food and drinks by another member of staff but then we have been kicked out by another. I do understand that it is a pandemic but where is customer service gone? Places is nice but due to the level of customer service and not being organised very well I would probably not go back there again.

I’ve been coming to Carlton for quite few years but not over past year or two, so would good to see they have refurbished it lately during lockdown. It has Good food, decent service (albeit with 10% service) and good atmosphere. That’s why I have given 3 stars. Now negative, we saw an advert online about 50% discount and thought let’s give it go as its been while. Booked restaurant and went there, seated and had food. The table next to us as they were leaving had word with waiter to ask why their discount was not applied to the final bill, to which waiter simply said sorry, took the bill and came back with discount applied. I thought they may have made mistake, which does happen. Few mins later we ordered our bill as well and same thing, no discount! So I asked the same, where is the 50% discount to which they took the bill and brought another with discount. Everything was fine but when I looked, I was shocked to see warm tap water being charged £2.50 each by the restaurant. ARE YOU OK? I queried this with the Manager who argued its restaurant policy, so asked where in the menu is it? Also no restaurant charges £2.50 for hot tap water, this is the first restaurant I saw in London that charges this, to which manager said it’s applied in other restaurants also, clearly his not been. He did take out the £2.50 x 2 hot tap water from the bill but that’s not the point, I said it’s matter of principle. It’s clear they just want to make quick buck and do not want to offer any discounts. Right from the start, they wanted all tables to pay full price and don’t have any right intention of giving any discounts whatsoever. That’s fine but then don’t advertise on your website, and also if you want to charge for hot tap at least have the decency of putting this on your drinks menu. Advise: if you want to offer customers discount, you should have the right intention of adding discounts without asking if they have booked for it. Mistakes do happen but happened twice, it was clear they just want to con you in paying full and hike up your bill, if not taking out discount by paying for hot tap water. I won’t be returning anytime soon with or without discount.

We were a group of 10/15 people, so we were ordering left , right n center I think they tried to take advantage of that especially how the majority of us where feeling nice off of the cocktails!
