Amazing authentic experience. The restaurant is not on the busy city street unlike others but once you inside the vibe is totally different. They have nicely decorated and the food was just splendid. We ordered mostly starter and take biryani for parcel. Portion were also reasonable with the price and suffice for couple. We tried meetha pan and white chocolate samosa for dessert and couldn't get enough. All the item were made with so much detailing and love which you can feel in every bite. Highly Recommended !

Yummy to say the least.
A place with a difference. Local flavour is created by naming the seating area with the ne of important cities of India . Befitting with the ne of the restaurant, kettles ( tea pots ) are kept at vantage points all over the place.
All the items I had were truly delicious and carry a homely flavour. To top it all had tea which was marvellous.

Chai Thali is one of my favourite restaurants where I keep going back and back for more the food is very delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are wonderful. This was my first time going for the Bollywood night it was a fantastic night and night atmosphere was very good I would like to recommend everybody to try out the Bollywood Night at Chai Thali. The waiter (PAYAL) that was serving as she was a fantastic person, Very professional and she was making sure the order was taken and the food was delivered on time did not need to wait for a long time.

If u r thinking of having Indian food then must visit their, nice, delicious, amazing and tempting food, with good environment, Bollywood music was playing in the background, the interior of the restaurant was good and different, it will give u the feeling that you're having your food in India. Definitely going to visit again 😄😄😄😄

We came here for Iftaar the service was was very fast and efficient they managed to bring our food on time. I had the non vegetarian thaali and even though it wasn’t a ‘traditional’ thaali it still tasted good and was very filling. The samosa chaat was flavourful big pieces of samosas with lots of sauce. The only thing I would say is the curries needed a bit more of a kick even my husbands curry which was suppose to be the spiciest dish on the menu was mild.
The atmosphere is very vibrant and clean; the music selection is amazing! You have to have a kulfi as a dessert it’s delicious

Awesome food ! You can taste the love in all of it. Everything so full of flavour and that tea in the end hits the spot.

A great experience. I went on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was quiet with a low but friendly chatter. The seating is named after different areas in India. The food was lovely, I had the chicken biryani and okra which was delicious. However there was a time limit on the table which is helpful to know if you want to plan for dessert.

Absolutely fantastic experience and I cannot fault it.
The restaurant is a great size, meaning that finding a table is easy. All the staff I spoke to were attentive and nice.
There's a good selection of food on the menu, but it's not overwhelming. The prices are very fair, and the amount of food you get is great.
The quality of the food is 5/5 and is the best Indian I've ever had.
Will definitely be visiting more in the future.

Lovely place, decorated in the same style as the food based on street food culture. The menu options are vast so there is lots of choose from both meat and veg.
The location is on a quiet back street in Camden so is not as busy than if it was on the main road, good for customers but not so good for the business as it does not benefit from passers-by.
I'd say this is a great place to go with friends in central london, but the food is the same as what you would find in any good Indian restaurant with the higher price tag, but the décor and central location makes up for that.
Recommend get a load of starters to share and then a few curries to also share, after all Indian food is ment for sharing not to have your own plate! Enjoy.
