Reviews of Chez Abir Lebanese Restaurant
W. E. B.
Friendly and helpful Staff. All the food is amazing(starters and mains), made with love by Chef Rabih. One of the best Lebanese reasturants in London . I highly recommend trying Chez Abir restaurant
Y. E. B.
We had an exceptional experience in Chez Abir last week! What a taste! Hands down the best lamb roasted shoulder I have ever had in my life. Definitely coming back many times. Special thanks to Chef Karim, he cooks unbelievable food! 😊

Not blown away and slightly disappointed at how little staff wanted to do business. They asked us to leave at 10pm o’clock and refused entry to a couple people at 920pm because the restaurant was closing (even though it was overall pretty quiet for a Friday night). This was after they reluctlantly let us sit in a 4 people table (we were two) telling us that if a big group came we would need to move - understandable, but unnecessary as the place was empty.
Food was good enough but nothing memorable that would make me go back.
Similarly, atmosphere is quaint but plain.
I was really hoping that this would be my new local but don’t think staff want new locals!
H. S.
I came across this restaurant by chance. They serve great food and the decor is so cozy. The staff are lovely & friendly too! Thank you so much for the lovely experience, I will definately be visiting again.

Great food, great atmosphere, great everything.
As an Egyptian craving some middle eastern food, this is no doubt going to be a memorably satisfying experience. The mixed grill was great, along with the grape leaves, and rice. Very very good. And loved the traditionally thing bread they served.

A true authentic Lebanese food and taste, we really enjoyed the collection of mezzeh we had!
Welcoming owner and staff, good service, nice Lebanese atmosphere, cozy place. Highly recommended!
L. L.
I’ve both eaten in and taken away food and it’s absolutely amazing. Great sized portions and absolutely scrumptious.
The Tabouleh and the Shish Taouk is perfection.

Great surprise behind the Olympia in London. Little restaurant with very nice interior, on a very calm street in Kensington.
Fabulous Lebanese food, really excellent an same for desserts. Only Lebanese food, by the way. Wine menu with many Lebanese wines, to be discovered.
The platters are a bargain, nice quantity for the price, and the regular menu will bring you a full blown meal, at a 30# per head price. you can do pick and share like the "locals" who come to this place, which is always a good sign!
Highly recommended also for vegans and veggies, they know their stuff. Same for nut allergics or other allergics.
Excellent restaurant libanais, à recommander pour ses platters pour un repas à 11-13 livres.

Stopped here for lunch while at a conference nearby. A bit pricy for lunch but the food was really good. Definitely recommend making a reservation as it's a small dining area and it fills up quickly. Many people were turned away because they didn't have a reservation.
A. L.
I really enjoyed the food here. I love Lebanese food and this place didn't disappoint me! Nice taste, polite staff. Will come back for sure

It isn't a food review (because it was good in general together with the service), it's just a thought about denying of potential.
Every time I visit the Middle East... tables are prepared with plenty of tastes, colors and incredible smells. Biting down plenty of dishes is therefore part of their popular tradition.
In this restaurant, at dinner time, you're forced to order the small starters separately, paying for each of them a little bit bloody cuckoo. There's no option to taste a multicolored mix of "Mezze", closing down the chance to experience the customs for which the rainbow Lebanese cuisine is well known.
In a Middle Eastern, Asian or European restaurant, if I don't easily get the chance to dive into the cultural experience of the same country, in my opinion it's a kind of failure.
If I had to advise something to the restaurant, it would be to unleash their own potential, making available a "mix dinner menu" where the customer can fully enjoy the colorful experience of East-Mediterranean cuisine without having to go through the trickle of ordering separately every small single starter, getting blow up too much the final bill.

Good place for Lebanese food. You get a good portion for an above average price. Good taste and great attentive service. As it's slightly hidden it shouldn't be too busy but I can imagine a reservation on the weekend would be recommended.
A. N.
Delicious food, friendly generous staff, and a spotlessly clean restaurant with nice ambience. I recommend the Humus with minced lamb, as well as the fatoush salad.
A. S.
Excellent experience, friendly service & very tasty & flavoursome food.

I am still sitting in my table, I had to write this review. This place is absolutely great! It is clean, waitress is nice and the food is amazing.
We ordered a mix grill and stuffed lamb, they came in big portions, really good value for price. We also had moutabal as an appetizer and it was very tasty.
Would definitely come back if I am around again.
V. B.
lovely vegetarian options... very good value for money.. we had a range of hot and cold starters on our table instead of mains..
F. E.
The good here was excellent. We ordered a fair number of hot and cold mezze all of which were delicious. We also had some very tasty Lebanese wine. The staff were very polite and attentive without being overbearing, and we felt very welcome. I would say that you need to book though, as it was extremely popular and had a number of large groups while we were there. Over all really good food, homely atmosphere and a good price.

I tried this place just recently and love it already!
The staff is super friendly, helpful, kind and extremely polite! I am deeply impressed by the warm hearted and caring customer service - if I could, I would give an extra star for that.
Another huge plus is that they have delicious vegan food! I tried the Falafel Wrap and it is authentic for that region, loved it! I love the tahini in it and the salty pickles.
Also: They have a great offer now which includes a wrap, chips and a soft drink for only 6,50£ which is a great value! This might become a part of my lunch time routine.
I like that this place is super clean as well. They wipe down really everything (tables AND chairs) after the customers. I worked in the hospitality industry myself and am very happy about the high standards of hygiene at this place! Hand sanitizer is available right at the counter.
I am so happy that I live around the corner, this place is great and has tasty, fresh, affordable vegan and of course other food as well. :)
I will definitely become a regular customer!

I was very pleased to find Chez Abir Lebanese Restaurant. It seems it is very difficult to find authentic Lebanese food, especially in the USA. I am a Flight Attendant for a major carrier and stumbled upon this place while in London. The last time I found a gem like this was in Paris, unfortunately they moved to the outskirts and were no longer accessible. The food here was delicious, authenti, the service was excellent and the Lebanese wine was very good. Highly recommended! And very reasonable.
R. B.
First outing for my Lebanese tastebuds so did not know what to expect. Looking through the menu I could have chosen everything. The choice and dishes look and sound amazing. I chose spicy potatoes and the mixed grill. Very tasty. House red was a very good choice. The food and staff were so impressive I returned the following night. fresh, tasty and a whole new dining experience. Thank you for being a great host.
C.
Wonderful Lebanese restaurant, authentic cuisine (ignore the negative review below about it not being authentic, I am Lebanese and I know my food). Their tabbouleh is the best I have tasted in London so far and they do great sandwiches and mezza.
Highly recommend!
E. A.
Best Lebanese restaurant in London.
Trust me, I'm a Lebanese.
I think the title says it all. But just in case you missed it, I really love this place. The food tastes like home, the atmosphere is cozy and the owners are very welcoming. They are also Lebanese which means they actually know how Lebanese food tastes like and how it should be cooked. The chef is one of the owners so you can rely on his commitment to consistency and excellence. If you don't believe me, ask the Lebanese community in London....
E. M.
The restaurant serves great tasty food but unfortunately they stopped accepting deliveroo orders. The restaurant always appears but every order is rejected or it will show as closed after a few minutes. Disappointing.
M. M.
Took my partner here whilst we stayed in London! Lovely restaurant, polite staff, excellent food and great prices! A real hidden gem. I do not usually write reviews but highly recommend this place to anyone. I will come here again when next in London. Thank you for being so welcoming!!

Lovely surprise....popped into Chez Abir yesterday before the concert at the Olympia having never tried Lebanese previously.
The Head Waiter was sooo helpful and selected three Mezzes to start for my wife and I and all delicious. We then tried the Lahem Meshwi Lamb and Shish Taouk chicken and again both delicious all washed down with some nice Lebanese beer (ok and Italian Prosecco 😁).
Great place to visit, good food and friendly welcome.

Exhibiting at a show in the novotel, Hammersmith and checked out Google maps for local restaurants and this place popped up, so we thought we'd give it a shot as it had great reviews. NOT disappointed, absolutely a..mazing food. Not a big place, so had a really nice, cozy vibe about it. But the food..omg.. just perfectly balanced flavours and spices all cooked fresh. Took a punt on wine and ordered a Lebanese red which as it turned out, perfectly matched the food. I can highly recommend the mixed grills as your main course. Takes a lot for me to be bothered to write a review, but this place is worth it... see you next year!
L. H.
The food was fantastic! Visiting Chez Mercelle was my first time visiting Lebanese restaurant and eating Lebanese food. It was fabulous. I didn't even imagine that the Lebanese food would be so good. Its obvious that the chef is an experienced one and I can say that for the other staff as well. Food is server with smile and style, the waitresses are polite and friendly. I'll definitely visit this place again.
L. M.
Delicious food with good portions, lovely accommodating staff and reasonable prices! The cubed lamb grill is amazing. Would definitely come here again and recommend.
A. N.
The place was spotless. The food was genuinely Lebanese, tasty and very reasonably priced.
It wasn't like other places I'd been where prices had been hiked up.
Well done Abir.
M. S.
Great food and hospitality inside this family restaurant. Suggested to everyone! We had a great time and tried multiple dishes from the Lebanese tradition! Fairly priced and very delicious
A. F.
Wonderful place with always fresh food which tastes really good. Lovely and kind stuff, great service.
Recommended for both eat in and take-away.
M. N.
This is a must try restuarant. The food is incredible...the best Lebanese restuarant I have been to. The food is authentic and extremely fresh! The owner of the restuarant is the chef and she comes around herself to ask each table how they like everything. It takes some time to get your food because she is making each dish fresh from scratch..but keep in mind the wait is more than worth it! It was my first time here and I already have plans to go back this week. At first we thought the food was taking more time than we are used to but you don't often find a restuarant with a real fresh home style cooking flare. Make sure to try the starters because they are delicious!
N. B.
Excellent food - as far as saying the best lebanese restaurant in London! Miles apart from the usual suspects in Knightsbridge. Food will not disappoint, as each dish is done with love and care. However, the service can be a little slow at times, especially if it's full!
L. v.
Excellent quality lunch. Simple things done very well. Selection of Bekka Valley wine, junior Musar/Kefreya etc very reasonably priced. Good ones there as well. Super efficient and friendly front of house AND kitchen. Would highly recommend.

This place had some of the best lebanese food I've ever had. Mezzes were amazing, the lamb shank was superb and incredibly tender. If I'm back in London I'll have to make another trip over there.
D. D. H.
Not an expert at all of libanese food, but I really enjoyed my meal. We had five or six starters, I remember homous and taboule, and they were all pretty good. Will definitely go again to try some of the other fishes.
T. K.
Calm and clean place. Waiter very friendly. A bit cold insinde the room. Hot meze 5-7£, main course 10-15£. I've never eaten libanese food before and it tasted quite good.
R. S.
WOW WOW what a great find!
Chez Abir restaurant serves Authentic lebanese food, their irresistible marinated grilled halloumi cannot be found in any other lebanese restaurant, it is super soft Unlike any other lebanese restaurant!
their falafel, Motabal, Stuffed lamb, grilled lamb were so Authentic, tasty and mouthwatering! This is my favourite Lebanese place now, I recommend it to everyone!

Best place for Lebanese food in London! The food has an home-made feel and is very fresh. The café is pretty small but has a warmly atmosphere.

R. H.

M. “. S.
The closest you’ll get to Lebanese home food in London. Authentic and delicious. The restaurant is rather small so make sure you book in advance!
A.
Fantastic Food, I rate it higher than the famous Maroush. It lacks the ambience a little as the lights are a touch too bright and no background music so no real athmoshere, but the food is enough to make me go back for sure!
D. S.
We live a 40 minute drive away but the food is worth it: tasty, freshly made and really healthily cooked. Everyone should try the "humous meat" - one dish is never enough
L. T.
The food is always delicious and the staff so friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend Chez Abir enough!

Amazing experience. We went there knowing that Chez Abir has been selected as the best restaurant in Hammersmith and Fulham according to TripAdvisor reviews. It didn't let us down.
5 starts for everything: no waiting time, nice and quiet place, quick and gently service, and the food is simply amazing and a LOT.
Food didn't get through the photos

Prices are high but the pound is complicit ..

(Translated) Just a short distance from Kensington Olympia station, this small Lebanese restaurant is located. Abundant dishes and good choice, I recommend a tour of the appetizers, to be divided among diners. As a main course, the best chicken I have ever eaten in my life.
