Almost everything I have ordered from the restaurant is top quality, with just one exception where the noodles were undercooked, but that is a minor thing. Definitely recommend the place.

Want a kid friendly restaurant, want freshly cooked Chinese food without lots of oil and salt, want friendly staff and don't want to pay the earth then Chingford Chinese has you covered. I love the food and relaxed atmosphere at this restaurant, especially when I am with my family. Please note it is not a restaurant for a cosy/intimate first date, unless you manage to dodge the families or groups having a good time.

Absolutely delicious food every time! We have never been disappointed. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly ... they've seen my daughter grow over the years & always have nice comments to make. We just love this place ... Very sad to move away from their food, but any time we're back in the area we'll try to pop in. Thank you to them all for delicious food and wonderful service! 👍🏼😀

Really really good ! I have been to China many times and this is as good as the real thing! Food is fresh and clean. You don't feel bloated or greasy after eating it. I would even say it's healthy! just a really great place to either sit in or takeaway as I do ! The best takeaway/ restaurant I have been too for Chinese food in London by far. I just hope it stays this way :D

What a lovely Chinese. Small restaurant with what you could say is dated decor but who cares what it looks like when it serves good quality food like that. OMG, what we ordered could have fed another four people but we took our time and savoured every morsal. The staff were delightful; the food was excellent and yes we'll be going again!

The food here is pretty good and although it's not a 5 star experience it's pretty close. Staff are friendly and the food is delivered to your table very quickly. It's family friendly and priced about right for the area. The decor is a bit dated, but it has something nice about it. Maybe it reminds me of the 80's...

The staff were frirndly and ensured that everything was to our satisfaction. No long waiting for our meals even though the place was full. Booking recommended at weekends to avoid disappointment. This restaurant had been serving customers for over 50 years which must say something about the quality of food and service provided.

Lived in chingford 20 odd years & never thought to try Chingford Chinease due to the shaded windows; dont let that hinder it from you, they have a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, attentive homely staff who are very helpful with any queries on the menu, the food is served in large portions on hot plates and a sweet little traditional heater, so i can't deny its worth the price. If you dont order drinks we were offered lemon water, it doesn't take much but they really do go all out on small details and cozy atmosphere. Id happily return & recommend to anyone in chingford or just those who love to try something different. 😊🍜🍛🍲
