V. I.We celebrated our anniversary at Chino Latino last weekend. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I had the black cod with spicy miso and steamed pak choi. My partner had the casterbridge sirloin steak with cassava chips. Both meals were beautifully presented and delicious. For drinks we had the Kir Royale and Mojito Royale. Again both cocktails were perfect 🥰🍸🍹 for dessert, my partner had the Three Way Latte. I don't like whiskey, so it wasn't my thing but he really enjoyed it. I avoid refined processed sugar, so I was pleasantly surprised by the creme brulee dessert with maple syrup. The waitress noticed that I was avoiding processed sugar and without me even asking her to double check this, she returned a couple of minutes later letting me know that there was sugar in the dessert, so I could change my order. This attention to detail is what makes customers feel special! I then ordered the fruit platter and a few minutes later we also got a surprise: fondant with vanilla ice cream (the picture I have shared). This was so kind and, although I try to be healthy, we both indulged in this delicious treat. Thank you to all the staff who made our evening so special ❤
D. P.Food was absolutely wonderful. The black cod melted in the mouth, the steak over charcoal was cooked to perfection, the duck salad was a joy - one of the best taster menus I’ve had - and I’ve had plenty!
L. M.We had dinner and tried several dishes, they were all very good. I suggest the pork cooked at low temperature and the tempura, both excellent. Service was good, we weren't waiting to long between services.
The space is lovely and the grand window with a great views of the Thames River.
The price was a bit too high.

J. D.My visit to Chino Latino was a very pleasant one. We were firstly greeted downstairs by a doorman then again once we arrived upstairs to the restaurant. We got given a window seat which we were very lucky in getting and made our experience that bit more nicer as it was a river view. One part that really made it for me was the live pianist playing in the background, this made the mood so relaxing and enjoyable. We ordered a starter to share between me and my partner which was the 'three ways taquitos’ which were very nicely presented and tasty. Onto our mains, we ordered the red chicken curry, jasmine rice, slow cooked prime beef short rib with cassava chips. The red chicken curry for myself was very delicious and had a lot of flavors, nothing I could fault about it. The ribs with cassava chips, my partner thoroughly enjoyed too. For dessert, we decided to get the exotic fruit platter as it was something I saw doing my reviews prior which looked amazing. When we got our dessert, the presentation of it was wonderful it consisted of so many different exotic fruits with two mousses and tasted delicious. I would definitely give this place a 10/10 and recommend to everyone.
D. H.Nice ambience but overpriced for what you pay. The food was not bad I had duck salad with melon and the flavour was great but the salad / melon didn't feel crisp and fresh as it should. Service was fine. It just and should be better for the price
G. B.Visited Chino Latino with a few friends. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely, staff were very attentive and polite.
The live entertainment was a really nice touch, the singer Lexi, I believe was her name was great and really set the tone for the evening.
The food was good and prices were reasonable, would have expected the sushi to be better considering the location but it was good. The black cod for the main meal was good value for money as it was a very health sized fillet.
The cocktails were nice, as you can expect being made fresh they can take a while so would recommend ordering your next drink when your 3/4 way through to make sure your topped up.
If you are in the area would be worth checking out.
M. H.Beautiful resturant, exquicit food and amazing staff. Brilliant service all round. We stayed in the hotel and ate here for 3 nights and I have to say, the food was perfect from start to finish. The entertainment here every night was sublime, we made sure the entertainment new we enjoyed their performance and that we had a brilliant time listening to them during our food and drinks.

J. G.Amazing atmosphere and interior with best live concert, where the lounge singer even wished bday girl and sang the bday song . But the food taste wise was very average and
D. M.First impression we had to wait 15 mins to be seated. However the staff were very hospitable.
Food: good in taste and presentation, we ordered tiger Maki with no crab, Salmon Fillet and quinoa Sautéed vegetable, bok Choi:
1- Salmon Fillet: it was very good and seasoning was excellent, however, it was over cook and slightly oily.
2-quinoa Sautéed vegetable: the presentation was outstanding but the sauce was so spicyI had to eat it with Bok Choi to calm down the intensity.
3- Tiger Maki: was sooooooo good and yummy 4- Bok Choi: needed salt or soya sauce.
Dessert 🍬
1-Chocolate Brownie: it was soooo yum and taste. It had peanut butter ice cream, I highly recommend it.
2-B'berry & coconut cheese cake: vegan and had no cheese it was different, it's very light and not sweet. I like it a lot. It tasted like a vegan berry ice cream
The Tea took forever to arrive and the waiter asked us if we would like to remove it from the menu and we said no need but they restaurant should by default because it arrive so late when we finished our dessert. The price was worth the quality of food.

There's a large lounge style bar area and a section with seated tables. There was a delay in service however, food was very tasty!

I didn't realize how tasty the food can be. my taste buds where screaming with excitement. no to mention the customer service from Evelina and Sasha - ladies where soooo nice and helpful, they made the experience even more wonderful. oh and the smurf's village dessert was excellent, such a great idea - props for the chef here.

M.Food was very nice, as is the live music/ambience lightning. Prime short rib/cassava chips/black cod all cooked well, sushi a little on the dry side.
General attentiveness, especially given restaurant price point was poor however.
Starters arriving before 1st round of drinks, follow up drinks taking 20min, correct cutlery not present on table. Such attention to detail is vital for overall experience and it was lacking.
Go if you can tolerate such service, or have plenty of time given food is nice, otherwise avoid.
V. D.Food was delicious, view was beautiful, service was good but t could have been better given that it was not too busy. Why is there no one playing the piano and drums??? All in all I will give it a solid 7 and will definitely recommend 👌

D.Chino Latino was one of those places I always wanted to come to but never had for a number of different reasons; we finally came here tonight and was a great experience, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the service is friendly, professional and helpful; the food is delicious and the views spectacular; the decor and ambience is also excellent; it is a bit pricey, but I think worth the money for a special occasion.

We also had breakfast here as part of our hotel stay and while the breakfast was good with lots of options, it gets really crowded and is hard to get around, because there's just not space to get around comfortably.

The food is delicious, the staff very friendly, and they even had some musicians in who did a great job.
They got my order wrong so they replaced it although it took so long I cancelled it so I wouldn't be the only one eating. Our waiter gave it to us on the house. Spent the rest of the evening drinking something called "educated gringos" and enjoyed the atmosphere very much.

Great variety, and the staff have always been so nice. We started going here in 2008 and some staff were still there several years later (and loved us taking our daughter in from when she was born in 2010). Have taken visiting friends and family many, many times.

The food is good not exceptional. Friendly staff. Price is reasonable for such type of hotel restaurant.

I was surprised by some reviews where they lowered the rating of the food and service.
Well my experience is different. The food was delicious and amazing with big portions of food. Please see the king prawns picture, it was almost of the size of the lobster.
You can customize your food of you have allergy to any spices and that is an extra.
The atmosphere was classy and amazing when I went especially on a very very busy night (new years ev.).
I cannot thank them enough especially while I am writing this review three weeks after my visit.

A. B.My boyfriend and I were sleeping at the hotel where the restaurant is located in.
We have had breakfast there for 3 days and went 2 times for dinner.
The first day we ordered fish which was very nice, good service, but almost empty restaurant.
The last day was not good. We called to reserve a table, they only had time at 09:15 pm (they close at 10:00 pm).
When we arrived we asked if we could seat in a table that was empty and they say no because they had to relocate the clients (that table we wanted was empty until we left very close to 10:00 pm....) They basically didn´t want to dress the table which we could have done ourselves (we just had to move a plate with the glass). They also were running around like headless chickens, we commented that it must be very stressful to work there.
I ordered Pluma Ibérica Pork, I asked medium-done, but it came almost raw. My bad for not telling them to bring me what I asked for). But because they were taking so long, I decided to eat it.
My boyfriend ordered something else which was veeery little amount for the price they asked for, it came on a huge brick with a huge leaf (useless).
The thing is we ate exactly the same the whole day except for the dinner and we always drink bottled water.
The next morning we had to fly back home, we planned to do many things that morning, but I spend it puking and you know what else that comes with food poisoning.
They also have some tables extremely close to one another, to the extreme that you have to ask the people at the table close to yours to stand up to be able to get out.
I would recommend it but just if you have no other option than going there, but if you go don´t forget to ask for your meat to be well-done.
I give 3 stars because the first day and the 3 breakfasts were actually good.
When a restaurant is full it´s when it proves its value, and for us, the last day wasn´t a 5 or 3 stars rate.
Ps. They have live music which is nice, but the volume was waaaay too high, barely could talk, you could see everyone having problems to talk to each other.
O. P.Nice restaurant. Perfect for late meal, dating or bar drink with the good interior and view on the river. Friendly stuff, good food (not original but rather good traditional top restaurants menu). Prices in the middle range for London. Bar and restaurant areas are separate, so it could be cosy and comfortable for both types of service. Restaurant officially open until 22-30 but we was served from 22-00 and until midnight. Tasting option in the menu looks good, taste good and cost reasonable money, highly recommend.

D. A.Haven't been here for a while - not since the restaurant moved upstairs. Sunday lunch is the bar menu at the moment. Dim Sum to start and duck for the main course. Both beautifully presented and delicious. Very impressed that they have a whole page of different sakés - well done. Great views now.
Only criticism was the service. I know there's a fine line between too much and too little service but this was definitely too little. Once the main course had been served it was very difficult to catch the waiters' attention: when they walk away from one table they should be scanning the room to see if anyone needs attention, not head down and ignore everyone else.

And the service was just bad... Drinks took 30 minutes to come out, a dish was forgotten, for dessert they took out order then 20 minutes later cane back to say they didn't have it.

A thoroughly perfect evening- the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience extra special.
And if you do anything before you die- you simply HAVE to try the Japanese mushroom, shiso, quinoa, truffle mayo hand roll. That alone is worth the journey.

E. W.My son and I have sat here at the bar for about 2.5 hours tonight. At first the bartender struggled to inform me of the available beers, so I gave up and just ordered 1 of the 2 he was asking me about. When it was time to order dinner my son ordered a steak. When he asked for it med/rare, someone had to come over to assist. He was finished with his meal before mine showed up. I had been trying to get the bartenders' attention to order a glass of wine before my dinner arrived, but did not get her attention until after I was finished and was informed they were out. While we were seated, 4 groups of people sat next to us and left, straight for the front door after waiting too long to get waited on. I did try pointing that out to the bartender, but not sure if it stuck. And finally, after almost 3 hours of being here, not 1 bartender ever asked me or my son if we wanted anything, something else, another drink, nothing. Great food, but horrible bar service.
A. B.The bar was as Victoria C's review says nice and swanky, with quite a mixture of clientele... tourists, business people and girly catch-up types. I found the table service a little confusing with the when to serve or not balance a little out of balance. And I think it may be cheaper to ask for a cocktail without alcohol rather than a £7.50 glass of orange juice and lemonade.

T. Z.Excellent food and drink. Lot’s of confusion with the wait staff—wrong drinks, mixed up plates at table, one main dish arrived 20 minutes after all others. Food was 5-star, but service needs some work.

I had the fillet steak with Japenese rice (£19). It was tender enough to eat with chopsticks. I'm going to look up how to make Japanese rice.
After that I had the chocolate brownie with peanut butter icecream (£8.50). Again, delicious food presented beautifully.
The staff were polite, welcoming and attentive but not too in-your-face.
The only down side are the prices (on the high side) and the service charge (included on the bill). I would have tipped well but I prefer to have the option...
That said, I will definitely be back.
S. P.Recently visited this place for a birthday meal. Food was unbelievable. One of the best sushi meals I've had and the steak we had for main was cooked well. Live music and service were top notch.
S. P.The tasting menu is really good for the price - the sushi and beef salad in particular were delicious. But the unlimited prosecco for £10 per person is dangerous! The vibe is great and it is usually busy.

But Chino Latino saved the night with the implacable white California style smile of Hector and his gracious command of hospitality.
The attention to detail and the comment at the end of our meal when he asked us to come back and make him Happy again!.
We need more people like this to make you go home with a smile on your face.

P. F.Menu very limited, the whole Asian thing does not work. I had 2 meals, red curry and steak sandwich, red curry was very authentic but on the whole I was not overawed. I paid £28 for an £8 bottle of wine which didn't help with this revue.

P. A.The bar is inside the London Riverbank hotel and is staggeringly expensive for drinks. Hotel breakfast is also served in here and it's far too small, 2 of us waited over half an hour for a table and then had to que again to serve ourselves all whilst being charged £50 for the privilege. Google the CORNER CAFE, it's only 5 minutes walk round the corner and wonderful.

H. H.We go here for lunch when we have something to celebrate at work, sadly there aren't enough of them as I could eat here every week. The food is modern Japanese with some influences from other parts of Asia. All the food is beautifully presented and the restaurant itself has a modern decor. The lunch menu is has lots of choice with various sushi, dim-sum type offerings, salads, tempura, bento boxes and 5-6 main dishes. I love the wild mushroom sushi, oh and the crab and scallop mushroom soup dumplings are delicious. For the main I always take a Bento box, last time it was the vegetarian one and the Bahn Trang rice paper rolls were amazing. I've never yet made it to dessert but they look good.
It's not a cheap lunch but it's a very delicious one and probably the best you'll get along this stretch of Albert Embankment.
