Reviews of Côte Kensington
L. L.
The best French toast I have ever had! It was very crunchy outside and soft inside. I'm not a fan of that cream look thing, but the maple and French toast is just amazing!
We were there in a very early morning and was the only group there. It is a very big restaurant with lots of seats and a big toilet. The whole decoration is very beautiful and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, we had a very nice time here!
V. A.
I have booked for a large party (around 15 people) and the service was excellent. Our waiters were attentive to our needs. The set menus are also really good value for money. The food tasted good too.
G. N.
Amazing experience, I’ve been there multiple times. The manager and all the staff were so kind, the food outstanding and cheap considering the quality they offer. My experience was mostly business related lunch and i was very satisfied of the general outcome. Only once there has been a misunderstanding and the manager took it in her hands and fixed in the best ways she could without us even asking…. What can i say, weather it’s for business or leisure you won’t be disappointed A+
L. P.
Delicious food, good prices and lovely environment and service. Highly recommended!
K. L.
Very good food, friendly staff and perfect for a cosy tete à tete.
F. N. A.
Amazing service by the team. Was there for dinner with a bug group (which can get chaotic) but they were professional and everything was perfect. The steak we ordered though, was roo salty (which is a surprise), didn't like the calamari (starter), loved the duck confit salad (starter) - picture attached. The French onion soup was good too. Overall good experience
K. C.
Food was delicious! Relaxing atmosphere
Highly recommend the Vegan Burger!! Even if you are not Vegan.

The food at this French Brasserie is very well presented & seriously delicious. Staff were very friendly & polite. The decor & ambience is very pleasant but the ace up their sleeve is they have kept prices quite reasonable even though its located in Central London. The prices were similar to any decent pub which serves food anywhere in UK. The bill for two people with lunch (Paillard Salad, Poulet Grille & a bottle of Perrier sparkling water was about £30). I personally feel if you decide to visit, you will not be disappointed.
M. M.
Excellent full English breakfast everything was fresh and well prepared, the staff were very friendly and service was quick. Had extras sides of Boudin Noir and Field Mushrooms which complimented the breakfast nicely.
A. G.
Good service and good food. Can particularly recommended the chicken, very tasty and the pudding section was good too. Kids menu options kept the little ones happy which helped!
M. T.
Believe all the hype! This place is great. The service, the staff, the food all incredible also not expensive (you get what you pay for) all quality. I had a great night here and I'll definitely go back.
J. R.
Cote always do everything right. They are faultless the food is great, the service is excellent and reasonably priced. They care so much for the customers. Superb
T. M.
Amazing meal and cocktails, great company and atmosphere. Truly amazing food and absolutely the best value meal in London. The menu was fantastic a really diverse choice of dishes, something for everyone. Definitely give it a try.
F. O.
Great food, great service, a highlight of this trip.
My wife and I were wandering around trying to find a spot for breakfast, tired of the usual chain shops and we took a small turn down a side street and stumbled on Cote. Everything about this place was amazing, the selection, the coffee, the food and the people there were genuinely the nicest we have met during our week in London. Highly recommended
P. M.
My stew was wonderful. Evidently, this restaurant is experiencing a shortness of staff. Appetizer (Tomato Soup) came before beverages and was cold. After it was returned, hot, the taste was wonderful. Main entrees took over an hour to be presented. Will I try this restaurant again, Yes. Everyone needs a 2nd shot!
M. H.
Time for deserts, popular for classic Carmel…. Tasty and original…enjoy
T. R.
Attended just before the lunchtime rush with my wife, mother, 2 year and buggy. Cote staff were welcoming and attentive. They assisted with straws for our child's apple juice and made no fuss when we explored the restaurant as he got bored. The crab salad, croques, fries and coffees were all good quality and very tasty.
S. H.
We came here for both dinner and breakfast as there is always good gluten free options. I really liked how there were drinks on the gf menu too as this means having to ask less questions. The server with the red short hair was especially good making sure I had everything perfect especially with my coeliac.
I. K.
Absolutely delicious food! Try the French onion soup. Great place to sit outside and work on your laptop. Also, the staff is super nice.
A. A.
The food was absolutely delightful. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was really tasty. The French toast was divine. This place has a real great vibe and staff were all so friendly! Definitely would recommend to everyone. 😀
S. F.
Did they reduce the size of the crème caramel?? But still yummy creamy
S. j.
Lovely meal .alittle slow but worth the wait .friendly staff .and best chocolate mousse x
j. c.
Great service, excellent food. We visited for a meal late afternoon prior to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall and were not disappointed. Only 10 minute walk to the venue makes it ideal.
K. M.
Great Gluten Free breakfast and couldn't have put me more at ease with regards to being safe for coeliacs to enjoy a meal. Decor is very nice too
J. P.
We had a fantastic time here on Saturday night. We felt treated like VIPs. Food was amazing, service was one of the best I've ever experienced, I recommend you take the time to book a table in advance, but wow what a restaurant!
C. M.
An absolute gem. Found by chance and weren't we glad we took the plunge. Clean, cosy and relaxing. Fantastic staff. Great range of food options.
We settled for the Sunday brunch: flute of Laurent-Perrier champagne, Eggs Benedict and a hot drink for me. Excellent quality. We felt totally spoilt.
F. S.
Actually have viable gluten free options. Absolutely lovely staff. Little bit tucked away so it feels like a small slice of France. Great food - would love to go again soon.
k. w.
Great service and great, good value menu. Been several times, always very happy, and full.
v. f.
Have eaten here twice this week; had the Duck and the Beef Bourginone. Both wonderful. Good wait staff! Highly recommend
N. P.
Great food and cheap good quality set menu. Sometimes I go to a restaurant when I'm away with work and it's filled with disappointment. However this place was different and served awesome food at good value £19.95 for 3 courses. I had French onion soup (tasty), pork loin with mushroom sauce and potato gratin (unreal) and apple crumble (yum). Defo check this place out if your in London.
j. j.
Friendly staff, quick service, lovely ambiance, delicious food for a good price.
C. M.
Great place, delicious food for a great price tag. Service was top-notch. Great attention to detail. Only fault was that we order the ratatouille as an entree and they brought it with the food. Still, they did not charge it as an apology.
A. A.
I went to their branch in chelsea. Hidden in a small typical gorgeous alley.
Beautiful French art déco design and à Very cosy warm welcome.
The food is really really good. Prices are as good as the food.
I had the grilled tuna Salad Niciose.
Wine selection si well priced and varied.
I will go back anytime I'm in London again.
D. F.
What a great venue - it’s one of 98 Cote outlets, but the Italian waiting staff here are exceptional!!! Plus the food is served fast, hot and delicious!
Will become a regular after this.
M. N.
Atmosphere is casual. No dress code. Food was ok. Not terrible, not great. Garlic bread was really tasty and good. Side dishes were better than entrees. Ribeye was cooked well but the cut wasn't good. Chicken was slightly dry and a bit mediocre in flavor. Gratis potatoes was the best thing we ordered. French green beans was sufficient. Fries were alright. Would not return but it was inexpensive so we weren't surprised. You definitely get what you pay for here.
l.
We came here for a date night as I had always wanted to try this chain. It was reasonably full but we got a table right away. Service was OK - but the waiters must have got mixed up as we were approached twice to order.
The food was the low of our visit. The 10oz Ribeye looked more like a sirloin - and while I asked for medium it was overdone. The creamed spinach needs some refinement too. While The idea and presentation of the monkfish wrapped in bacon were both great, the dish was bland overall. For dessert the Coup Noire seemed like another good choice, but the ice cream was all melted and the chocolate had hardened and fell out of the pot in one big dollop.
If your looking for something OK - you might be OK here but must shy away from anything more than 3*
K. R.
Fantastic food. Nice choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Very pleasant staff. Decor and atmosphere ideal.
K. H.
This is a wonderful eatery with happy staff and a warm ambience my main meal of beef bourginon cheeks with red wine was stunning , well done guys , on a slightly negative vibe the starters are very dated and need a complete overhaul as it is difficult to choose any with gusto , this is my opinion only !
A. K.
The outstanding thing about this place is the separate gluten free menu, which makes ordering very easy. Gluten free food comes with a label too, so you can actually relax, because you know they remembered.
The food is good, the waiters' knowledge on wine pairing could be improved, but all in all a nice place.
n. b.
Another great meal
Thanks guys
A. S.
Went to see daughter and her friend we have a lovely 1+ glass of wine. Very pleasant place.
A. R.
8 of us went on Sunday for brunch and I have to say everything was fantastic! The friendly staff, food and service were all great. Not to mention they took my nut allergy seriously and put me at ease. Overall a lovely experience.
P. J.
Excellent staff, menu, attention to detail and so happy to accommodate my allergies. Highly recommended, going back again soon.
c. t.
The food are all set at a reasonable price ..the pork are well prepared and tasted so good...we ordered a bottle of french wine and that’s not expensive at all...if you didn’t book online..maybe it worth trying your luck to go there around 630 pm for walk in ...good value for money is what I can think of...
K. B.
Lovely decor and pleasant attentive staff. The food itself was OK but slightly bland for my tastes.
M. T.
Lovely vegetarian food. High class ambiance, decor and service at standard price rates. Praline Crepe is certainly a must!
D. W.
We had a very nice mea herel. The food was authentic French recipes, and there was a pleasant atmosphere. The service was quick..
R. B.
Set menus and breakfast very good value tucked away friendly service always a winner gets busy so u need to book
M. C.
Excellent meal. Great service. Good ambience.
P. S.
Needed somewhere for a relatively quick bite and Cote delivered exactly what we needed. Good food, delivered quickly with no complaints
K. T.
A high-quality french restaurant that serves really good food at a reasonable price. One of the hidden gems in the city.
D. B.
Fabulous food and incredible staff. Thank you for supporting the lovely wife
S. A.
I found it next to our hotel , their creme caramel is so delecious one is not enough 💕 & their cream brûlée also is very good .. good coffee.
A. A.
Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere!
D. P.
Great meal - good value. Really enjoyed it. Pre dinner meal before we headed to see Les Mis!
A. P.
Well..... I bit disappointed about my dish. I have seabass and the place say to have baby potatoes and came half of one.
S. K.
Went there tonight with my two boys and hubby for the first time and I highly recommend this bistro. The food was on point, the service was Sterling and the atmosphere was lovely. The food bill for the four of us which included but not our full order, starters, desserts and two steaks came to about £112 including service . I most definitely will be making this a regular place to eat.
Y. H. (.
The steak is good! Mine is rib eye, but the fries is too slight over….just like a fast food fries.
R. M.
Get the crab mayonnaise or the lunch deals. Foods good service too. Below is the spinach and mushroom crepe which was more like a baked dish than a crepe bit still great. Get the gin and tonic with elderflower as it was just soo tasty and I hate gin lol. Perfect for lazy afternoons. Bon appetite!
G. Y.
Perfect place for a dinner. The staff friendly and polite.
I. M.
We visited Cote on Sunday and had another delicious meal. There was a bit of a hitch as the server only entered one meal (we both had the same thing). We had to wait for about 10 minutes for the second meal to arrive, but they couldn't have been more helpful! Everyone came over to apologise, offering us various things, bread, olives, to keep us going while we waited. The manager offered to take off the price of 1 meal and offered us free glasses of wine. Because of their prompt and kind offers they turned what could have been a disaster into a very positive event. They truly deserve 5 stars and we'll definitely be going back. The review below was from our last visit. I would like to add that the service at Cote is possibly the best anywhere, always friendly and welcoming.
Always friendly, fast (if you want), professional and consistently delicious food. Prices are perfectly pitched and they reward their loyal customers with very nice specials - this is why we regularly eat here.
M. D.
Kind staff and good food. It's a really nice place to sit on the terrace, away of the busy high street. Food is good quality-French, seen the lower price
V. M.
Excellent value cafe restaurant with great quality food and good service. The breakfast and early dinner menus are very good value for the quality and this part of London.
S. P.
Excellent ambience ,menu variety and value for money
A. M.
Great food, and amazing place.l..i love it!
G. W.
Food very good and service first class.
O. S.
Visiting this place for last 8 years, nice that food is still great, but service have fallen. I had to seek for passing by staff to bring their attention, it happened more than 3 times and even restaurant was half empty. Hopefully, that won't happen again.
A. K.
Excellent food and ambiance. Attentive front house service. Very tolerant to toddlers and young clients. I highly recommend it .
T. M.
The staff were very professional, polite and courteous. The food was tasty and good portions. The ambience was cosy.
m. m.
Had the Christmas menu with ribeye steaks.Beautifully cooked food. The waiting g staff exceptional
s. j.
This is probably the friendliest Cote in London. The staff were amazing, fun and friendly. The food was good, they had run out of a few dishes, my first choice wasn't available which was disappointing but the dish I had was good. I would return.
I. T.
Always happy to go there, great staff and delicious food
m. w.
Solid food options, great atmosphere
D. B.
Fabulous staff who helped my lovely wife out a lot. Very much appreciated.
M. J.
Very good service and great gluten-free options for coeliacs.
J. N.
Quality beef, cooked just right. Value for money as well.
J. P.
There are some set menu. I ordered one of dinner set menus. Affordable price and 👍 taste.
B. Y.
I have eaten here several times visiting London, it has been excellent each and every time. I highly recommend you eat here
S. T. G.
One of the best Cote's.
Food is delicious, portions are good and staff are charming.
I tried the Fulham branch 2 years ago which was not to this standard
N. K.
Amazing food and kind staff! Nothing to complain about it's just the rib eye steak. Not cooked very well and WAY TOO THICK! Otherwise it's my favourite restaurant! THE STEAK FRITES! DEFINETELY RECCOMEND GOING FOR THAT! Also the peas... Quite nice.. Every time I go there I have to have the Calamari as a starter it is just DIVINE By the way I don't drink so I can't reccomend a drink. I just don't like drinks.... I only like ouzo and pastice. I can't spell too well haha.
E. H.
Lovely place, the staff are so kind and not nice !🎉🎉🎉
S. D. T. L.
Great atmosphere, food and service. Everything was devine.
s. g.
It's a favorite place of ours, especially outside (although theit heaters are broken!) and whitebait there is really good, as is the harissa-laced salad and the sea bass, to name but a few!
J.
Great service and great breakfast outside.
N. M.
Fairly priced.
Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Decent selection of food and drinks.
Would definitely recommend!
K. L.
Nice little cafe, just off the high street. Quiet in the mornings. Complementary bottle of water with your coffee, which is a nice touch. Very good customer service.
J. H.
This cozy restauran is just a few yards away from Kesnsington High Street traffic noise. There are outside tables and very pleasant ambient inside. Food is fantastic and friendly helpful staff.
H. P.
Lovely decor and setting and delightful French toast. Perfect way to set yourself up for the day. So nice that I've booked for tomorrow's breakfast too.
N. F.
Beautiful restaurant, I really enjoyed it. Food is amazing and on top perfect service.
I definitely can recommend the Croque Madame.
Thank you for a wonderful start in the day!
S. G.
Food was ok but we had a very long wait between our starter and main. Someone forgot to put the order through or something. A glass of wine each was offered in compensation. But they still charged us 12.5% service!
C. A.
One of the many Cote s in London. A French restaurant. Onion soup was a little disappointing but salmon ratatouille was good. Nice ambiance and great location.
E. C.
Great place for supper. Very friendly and efficient waiting staff. I had put a note on the booking that we were going to a concert and they noted it and commented on it to us to check our timings, which was extremely helpful. The food was good quality and the wine was of very good quality. Cote is always on the expensive side, but you know what you're getting and the food was served quickly. Overall a good experience.
A. N.
Really tasty food and Excellent Service!
C. C.
It was ok, average! For my taste too many onions everywhere
S. K.
Great pre theatre menu, friendly staff and excellent service
S. T.
Food all ways great. But I found it abit to busy and to seats abit to close.
F. A.
They have a nice sweet ( cream caramel )
S. 9.
Food was good and service. I was disappointed they won't accept cash payments as I feel covid gets used as excuse to make things easier for them. Lots of friends work in customer facing businesses and have to take cash. Tip was reduced due to this
K. P.
Great breakfast!
A. C.
I had lunch here this afternoon and it was such a treat. All of the staff are so kind, professional, and really look after you. We were given a glass of champagne to welcome us back (after lockdown) which was such a lovely surprise. I had the moules frites (delicious), my mum had the chicken salad (also delicious) and we shared the tarte pomme for pudding (delicious again). My mum is a regular here and I can see why!
P. K.
Excellent food for an excellent price. We ordered a three-course menu and enjoyed each course. Nice atmosphere, fast and friendly service. The only minus for me was that it was very busy and thus a bit too warm and noisy.
V. D.
Food has improved and service good. One good Italian waiter there.
C. P.
Very nice Bistro, good flavor and overall great experience
A. L.
To their credit Cote always own up to poor service or food. Our breakfast eggs were cold and when we complained they were whipped away to be replaced with piping hot (and delicious) freshly cooked ones. The manager came out and personally apologized and when the bill came they took 20% off.
j. w.
Absolutely beautiful food, wonderful staff, and tucked away from the street to give a perfect atmosphere.
A. M.
Great costumer services and ambiente. My started was absolutely tasty. The stake was cooked well. Good red wine. I always feel satisfied every time I have a meal there either with friends or family.
J. O.
Wonderful staff and delicious meals. My friend and I ate there several times while I was in London and really enjoyed all our breakfasts. The Croque Monsieur was my personal favourite, closely followed by their French toast and fruit salad. 10/10 would go again.
M. G.
Absolutely amazing, they made my birthday very special. Wasn't busy and was very romantic. Will be returning.
M. J.
Amazing place. Great staff, food and drinks. Awesome customer experience
S. B.
Excellent today. Service was impeccable in a very busy restaurant. My kid spilt his fries and they were cleaned up and replaced with no fuss at all. The food was delicious and the family of 5 from 3 generations all had a good time.
D. P.
Try the fixed menu - you'll not be disappointed
A. A.
Best steak ever. We had lovely dinner at the Kensigton restaurant. I had a steak here 8 years ago and it was delicious, yesterday I had it again and it was so good I can tell is the best steak I ever had. I wish I live in London to visit more often.
t. w.
Great meal very reasonable price. Steak was just right, chips were very crisp and the wine nicely chilled. Service was first class attentive and helpful. Clean, smart and efficient, I got the impression the staff cared about the quality of what they did.
A. T.
Great French Eatery... Friendly staff
N. E.
The food was the best we had all week! The salmon was great and the pork tenderloin was perfect! The dessert was something you should not leave without trying. Service was fantastic! So sad we need to leave tomorrow or we would for sure go back!
M. P.
Disclaimer: I'm french, and I was with a group of french people! Well we had a great time, the food was really faultless -- and the service was excellent. Very nice choice of french-related dishes, and all the ones we tried were pretty good; nice choice of wine too. Only a couple of little nags, like not having bread served with charcuterie/ham plate, but really all in all, a nice evening.
M. C.
Good quality and great price for the set menu available until 7pm. GBP 12 for 2 courses, we came several times while living in the neighborhood. I loved the whitebait, small fish fried and served hot in a metal pan with fries.
G. R.
An excellent brunch with lovely service and very reasonably priced.
Croque Madame was particularly tasty.
S. S.
excellent fillet steak and chocolate fondant. superb service and lovely decor.
reasonably priced
V. S.
We prebooked lunch on a very busy Saturday. The staff coped very well with plenty of smiles and assistance with menu choices. We shared a bottle of house white wine, it was very good. The lunch time special of half roast chicken with sliced potatoes and green beans was very tasty. The lemon sorbet was a light and refreshing dessert. Good value for money and would recommend. Only negative would be very tight on space.
H. v.
Amazing french food and a great price. You can get a 3 course meal for under 20 quid here. Their poulet dishes are so good. They cook a pretty mean chicken with crispy skin. The mushroom sauce is so delectable as well. They give options to different sauces but I reccomend the mushroom one. Its creamy and full of umami flavor.
F. G.
Loved my avocado on toast with toasted seeds, delicious! Sat outside. Good service. Coffee was a bit bitter, I like it strong but not bitter which this was. So almost top marks.
A.
Came here with some friends for the early evening menu (as of November 2016 it's £10.95 for two courses or £12.95 for three).
The food was absolutely delicious, we were all really impressed. I had the Pear and Endive salad for a starter and the Sea Bream for the main. The salad was great and the fish was really well cooked. Sometimes in busy restaurants fish can be really over-done but it was not the case here!
Definitely recommend!
D. H.
The usual good food at (for London!) quite reasonable prices. Polite, helpful staff providing overall good service. Very busy and noisy however whenever I have been there, - not ideal for easy conversation. Most recent visit was also over charged, - a timely reminder to always check your bill before paying for items belonging to other diner's bill!
S. W.
Fantastic and very enjoyable time here. Wonderful staff, service and food. Never fails to disappoint when ever we are up this way, always book here. Fabulous every time making each visit as special as the last.
E.
Just stumble across this restaurant while walking around. Went in there with my partner and ordered the fillet steak. It's simply one of the best steaks I've ever had from a restaurant, such good quality and the staff are friendly. Plus it didn't hurt my wallet. For a 2 course meal each, came under £100. Such good value! Highly recommended.
J. G.
Beautiful food.
Better service at Sloane square Cote
R. S.
Always excellent food, service and good value.
s. e.
good place, nice food
M. H.
Great food, amazing coffee and brilliant service 👍
R. B.
We have eaten here several times over the years. Consistently good service and food.
Calamari was cooked perfectly- crispy exterior and tender interior. The salmon main was very slightly over cooked with delicious sides. My fish Parmentier was creamy with variety of fish. Desert tartes were a lovely way to end the meal.
A. D.
£12 early evening set menu is fantastic price and amazing food!!
N. I.
We had the Prestige set menu for lunch, as the options are a little bit better than what's on offer in the usual lunch set menu. Being Greek, calamari is always scrutinised and ours were very good. I think I commented that I would quite happoly eat a bucket full :) The pork rillettes were fantastic, and my wife's main of the Autumn Ravioli was so full of flavour. My ribeye did taste great, and their seasoning was perfect, but rare was a poor choice as it needed a little but more time on the grill. If there was any criticism, it's that the staff seemed overwhelmed when a larger crowd comes in for lunch, so certain requests were missed or asked for more than twice...but I would absolutely go back just for the calamari.
A. L.
Consistently good food, delicious, great variety. I had they pork belly and was delicious. The swordfish and the duck confit were ordered by my friends and they were also amazing. Cote is a place that never disappoints!
S. J.
Absolutely wonderful, fabulous good and gluten free too. The martinis are stunning, many thanks to Umberto and the guys. The pan roasted belly pork and half Breton spring chicken are delicious with the fresh gratin potatoes stunning too, the creme caramel and creme brulee out of this world.
M. M.
Delicious food, quick and polite service. Moderate prices and good menu. Would definitely recommend it. I have been there 3 times and this branch is amazing.
S. V.
Great food, fair prices. 5 star service.
L. C.
Staff really friendly and professional, food good, but decor is looking a little tired.
R. M.
Chose to celebrate friends' 20th anniversary here before a Royal Albert Hall concert and the staff couldn't have been more kind, friendly and accommodating. They completely spoiled my friends, who are big fans of this restaurant anyway, and made it a very memorable experience. The early evening deals are fantastic value and the food has never disappointed: I recommend this restaurant very highly indeed.
G. P.
Excellent dining experience, good choice & value, great portions, meat cooked perfectly, wide choice of drinks, highly recommend Cote (first time at this branch but been to Sloane square and others before).
Dishes worth trying: Roast duck breast, Beef Buorguinon, Fish parmentier, Pate, Crab mayo & a glass of port.
R. W.
Found this hidden little gem for our lunch today. The service we received was very friendly and first class. The food was superbly prepared and efficiently delivered. A most pleasant beginning to our weekend away!
C. K.
Excellent food and atmosphere
J. F.
Great food. Really good portions and I asked for my steak rare and they did it exactly as I asked. The early evening deal is such good value
P. F.
Very good food. A variety of dishes with some daily specials. Good atmosphere. Service is a little slow but you're not there to grab a qwick bite to eat. So enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
A. B.
We were a party of four. We had a three course meal and we all ordered different dishes for each course. It was unanimously agreed that the food and choice was very good, with something for all of us and that the service was friendly and welcoming. We had a very relaxed pre-show meal and drinks at Cote and I will make use of the venue for other shows at the Royal Albert Hall that I might go to. I am also tempted to now seek out nearer Cote's in their chain. The food was good, the prices very reasonable, particularly for this part of London. The seats could be a little more comfortable, but I am seeking out something to be critical about. Very enjoyable, everyone in the party would happily recommend the restaurant again.

Love Cote and this one is no exception. Good service, lovely food, nice atmosphere and good value.
B. L.
Pre Theatre dinner before going to Royal Albert Hall. Great staff, great atmosphere and great food.
B. T.
This place is one of my favorites! Good rates, big dishes and the employees are constantly helpful.

Meh.
I had a ribeye steak with chips, and a salad.
The steak was burnt and bitter, the chips were undercooked and the salad was not fresh.
The staff tried to make it up and offer deserts but the peach crumble tasted artificial.
The location is good and price is decent. The rest I can’t recommend.
A. F.
Had a great fish stew. Good value for money.
A. D.
Amazing place nice food good prices...excellent service. Its a nice place you should visit
C. B.
Visited for my husband's 30th birthday to have a delicious breakfast to start off our busy day. All opted for the breakfast meal deal which is great value. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was fantastic. Will definitely keep Côte in mind next time we are near one and fancy a nicer breakfast than normal!
J. M.
Nice restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed our food & wine
A. M.
Chose this place for our Valentine's and was very satisfied. The food was nice with generous portions. I'd recommend the apple slice with ice cream for desert. The service was very friendly with attentive waiters and complimentary champagne on the occasion.
M. R.
I ordered the steak which was cooked to perfection. The service was also good. It had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. In terms of value, it was also quite decent. Overall, I would recommend this place for a relaxed meal with friends/partners or family.
J. H.
Nice place with good food 👍

Visited this restaurant with my wife Saturday the 18th of March. We reserved a table at 9 pm. And arrived in a packed and very very HOT restaurant. We were seated by a very polite and friendly waiter. We ordered a 3 course meal. Ok starters. I ordered steak tartare for a starter (was cheap quality meat)but tasteful. My wife shrimps and fishstew from Bretagne what tasted very nice. I had a striploin with peppersauce. Was very nice and well prepared. We finished our dinner with an excellent creme caramel with a scoop of ice-cream. We were served by a very helpful and polite (Italian?) waitress.
Three course meal and drinks £79 was a fair price.
Unfortunately the restaurant was much much to warm.
Draught beer would be nice😉
N. C.
Fantastic customer service, the friendliest staff I have encountered in years. Great food and prices. A dining experience to remember. Highly recommended 👍
M. J.
Beautiful little bistro with delicious food and charming staff. They have a very impressive gluten free menu and the food that we had was amazing.
They offer complimentary, filtered water with your meal.
We started with vodka, blood orange and Cointreau martinis as an aperatif. I had pan fried pork belly with Savoy cabbage and apple with Calvados, with potato gratin. My husband had weekend special, half Breton Spring Chicken with potato gratin, french beans and herb gravy. We chose creme brulee and creme caramel for dessert. Then Umberto, the charming host, persuaded us to have espresso martinis to finish. All delicious.
The toilets are at the back of the bistro and downstairs, so not accessible for wheelchairs or prams. We will definitely be going back.
J. G.
I really love this place! Everything was perfect!

Cote Brasserie is a chain of French restaurants and usually I avoid reviewing chains as they are very middle of the road but I have genuinely been impressed every time I visit a Cote. The menu is always reasonably priced and everything I have tried has been excellent. To top it off, the restaurant always nails the ambience with a mixture of vibrant, but intimate. I'd definitely recommend the mussels as a starter.
D. B.
Traditional French style bistro with excellent set menu options that are very reasonably priced. Wonderful warm, friendly & attentive service. Thoroughly recommend.
J. H.
This chain is fantastic. Salads and asparagus were excellent. Sadly let down by very poor rump steak that was very very tough. Certainly not worth the extra £2.50.
I. M.
Good service and lovely food
G. L.
Very professional and friendly service. Food yummy and lunchtime menu very reasonable for this part of town. The restaurant was a bit hot though! Turn the heating down!
e. t.
we'd been in brighton and had some incredibly tasty chicken with garlic butter. this time we tried their 2 courses for £12ish before 7. i had warm lentils with bacon and a poached egg - had to send the egg back the first time (completely solid yolk!) but they were really nice about it and it came back beautifully runny. matt had a bowl of deep-fried little whitebait - very, very tasty. for mains, i had a ratatouille tart with goats cheese and salad - tasty and a nice mix but slightly over done and very dry - it was in dire need of some kind of sauce. matt had pan fried chicken breast with roast vegetables and a creamy sauce - very good but the vegetables were minimal in number. it was nice, but i think next time we'll spend a little more and go for the proper menu. the service was friendly and the wine good (but we're not fussy!) would like a more private seat next time.
M. A.
Love the food and services, staff are nice and attentive. Highly recommended
T. L.
The service was amazing, all the waiters were attentive, kind and polite. Food was great too. Relaxing ambient.
Y. E.
The place is amazing i always come here for lunch as i work neraby. The staff is absolutelly amazing. I dont know yet the names of the 2 italian guys who normally serve me but i can tell Silvia an italian waitress is amazing, she maked us laugh a lot and was very helpfull and confident during the night. Ill deffo keep coming
C. C. C.
Quaint setting and convenient location and relatively polite staff located in Kensington. Just off Kensington High St. near the Royal Gardens Hotel. Delicious mussels, mediocre calamari and, one of their specialties; grilled chicken - tasteless and rubbery.
If stopping for a kir royale, you can't go wrong. Go somewhere else for good food and better liquid refreshment choices. .
J. D.
This is one of my favourite cote restaurants, it's tucked into a nice side street off high street kensington so it's a great location but set back from all the hustle and bustle. The food is always top quality and what amazes me is the service from the staff, they're always going out of their way to make your experience special.
M. M.
We were in London for Remeberance weekend and we had been out with friends for a drink, on the way back to our hotel we decided to get something to eat but it was quite late
We tried a couple of places but were told we were to late but when we tried here we were made very welcome, the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent as was the food
To the extent that we went back 3 times in total and the prices were very reasonable and yes I highly recommend this place
L. M.
Cote has been a consistently good value, good food venue for years and remains so. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is always good and the price is very good. The service has not declined. I highly recommend it.
D. M.
I certainly liked their food and customer service, good location close to my residence. The cashiers are always kind. Will visit here again.
A. H.
Nice little restaurant tucked away off the high Street good french food served well recommended
I. M.
Great food, excellent service, reasonably priced. Ten minute walk from the Royal Albert Hall if you fancy dining either before or after a show.

Food and service is usually very good, steaks can be touch and go but other dishes are excellent. Clean and with outdoor seating, lovely in summer.
A.
Great food, tried the steak and lamb, especially for the value (took the lunch weekend menu). Nice and friendly staff as well, even in busy hours.
C. B.
I love Cote. A firm favourite. It always feels way better than it costs. Atmosphere, interior design and food all good. Great value.
I. S.

D. S.
Really enjoyed the breakfast here. The food is very good and the service is very nice and accommodating. I will come back here for breakfast when in the area.
A. G.
Can recommend the Cote chain - all the ones I 've been to have good value, nice food and good service. This one no exception. Convenient for nearby Royal Albert Hall which was why we chose it this time.
S. B.
Excellent meal, good choice on offer, wonderfully presented. Desserts to die for - but they gave us someone elses bill at the end which we accidentally paid (but luckily realised and sorted this before we left, as it was almost twice as much!)
Tarte Tartin - mmmmm!!
C. F.
Fantastic food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food could easily equal far more expensive restaurants.
M. P.
Very good food, very good value for money, very good service, excellent location for venues like Albert Hall (10 mins walk).
R. B.
We had the chicken liver paté and the sautéed shrimps with two glasses of white. 30£, and the service was fairly quick with friendly staff.
B. S.
Always dependable chain. Long thin dark dining room with limited window space. Good for a reasonable lunch when shopping on the High Street.
n. a. t.
Really comfortable place where you can meet the family for a classy dinner. The restaurant offers nice homelike atmosphere and the staff's politeness is a nice addition to the mix.

N. D.
Great food and excellent variety of options. Service was decent but waiters are not very attentive despite restaurant being relatively empty.
R. G.
Great food and service. Realize that when they ask if you'd like bread and olives while you wait for your meal, it'll cost you 5 lbs to say yes.
A. H.
Good value, great food, friendly service particularly from the manager.
S. K.

L. L.

M. H.

M. M.
Very nice cafe and restaurant you can spend your time in , it's located in small avenue in Kensington High street in London has friendly staff and helpful prices are moderate but the best thing that you can eat there is the cream caramel there it's so delicious.
M. C.
Good, friendly service, nice atmosphere and good food. What more does one want.
M. O.
Kitchen here is not as good as other cote restaurants but great setting with outside tables in a laneway with very little traffic. Actually feels like a French outdoor setting.
E. O. G.
Their new breakfast service is fantastic and economical! Really a great full English and a fun full French.
