Reviews of Côte St Katharine Docks
C. S.
Fine.
If you like the Cote menu then this is a decent one to come to because of the view of the dock. Otherwise, inside is fairly standard...
Staff seem quite transient though
Our waiter was a little annoying in that he kept trying to be helpful but just wouldn’t leave us alone or know what to do. Can’t fault him for effort!
N. N.
Cote to the rescue!
Another restaurant that you get what you expect (if you've been before).
For London dining and the location, the prices for the quality of food; so good.
This location by the docks; such great views of the sunset and then the lights come on and you can even sit outside.
After waiting elsewhere for 20 mins with the worst service (popular "influencer" location by Tower Bridge....) we easily booked a table for 2 on a Friday night at 8pm online.
Table was ready when we arrived there.
We had exceptional service from our waiter. Really good ambience.
We ate:
CÔTE DE BOEUF (22OZ) - 59.25
A sharing Rib Eye steak experience. Grass-fed British & Irish beef, dry-aged for 30 days. Matured in our Himalayan rock salt ageing room for the ultimate flavour. Served with homemade truffle hollandaise, frites & a choice of two sides (for two)
Included in the cost above:
CREAMED SPINACH - 4.75
PETIT POIS - 3.95
& GREEN BEANS
Plus 2 Virgin cocktails.
We split the bill £40 each and our bellies and tastebuds were really contented.

Lovely setting for a cote, we were fortunate with the weather so we were able to sit out side with a view of the marina. Had brunch on a Sunday and were able to walk in without a booking at about 12. Food was excellent as always and the staff were all very helpful and attentive.
D. H.
Delicious food, attentive staff even as the place filled up. All very professional and well run. Will definitely be back
C. H.
Absolutely brilliant night, never used a Cote brasserie before but would certainly recommend this one. We booked on the same day and wondered if we were going to eating in a half empty restaurant. But we were just lucky, restaurant was full, great ambience, the service was fabulous. The food was excellent. Just a really good night. Top job!
P. H.
Excellent restaurant - best on the dock. Friendly attentive service, great wine selection and divine food. Can't fault it!
J. H.
I was really impressed with the service and atmosphere here today. We ordered 2 rounds of drinks and everything came quickly and tasted great. Their French Old Fashioned was lovely too. We will definitely return!
S. K. M.
Absolutely love this place. Have been here s few times and mostly always greeted by JJ at the door. He always has such a wonderful and warm personality and always greets with a smile while showing you to the table. A real asset to the cote family! The rest of the staff are lovely too and and good consistently amazing!
H. B.
Staff were attentive and thoughtful. Got exactly what I requested - nicest quietest table at a corner all the way in the end overlooking the beautifully illuminated dock without the need of dining in the cold outside at the terrace. We were also grateful for the complimentary welcome drink, a bonus for us to toss the birthday special occasion. Food was of high quality. French Onion Soup was not the best however the Beef Bourguignon was exceptionally tender and well flavored. For desserts, we had Praline Crepe and Fondant au Chocolat and both were scrumptious.
I was disappointed that the Cassoulet de Toulouse was not available as that was a major reason I picked Côté in the first place. Didn't think a widely advertised dish on their menu would be sold out by 19:00. Also, I found the options of main dish limited, as compared to other traditional French restaurants.
Overall a pleasant experience. Recommended!

This is a beautiful marine side location with plenty of outdoor seating. The food is always freshly cooked and super tasty, the location is superb and the staff were a pleasure (especially the lovely Patrick who made my solo dining experience comfortable). I've regularly eaten at different Cote restaurants before but this restaurant has become my new favourite.
K.
Great location & Excellent food, service 🤩The staff is very professional and fast. We visited on a sunny day & enjoyed the weather outdoors seating area. Thank you 😊 all team for making our London trip wonderful. Strongly recommended! Definitely we will visit again🥰
A. W.
Easy going staff that were very attentive and accomodating. Thank you, we had a great and relaxing Sunday afternoon into evening!
Breton fish stew is a must-have. You need the bread to mop all the deliciousness up. It is only good manners and a compliment to the chef to wipe the plate clean!
S. S.
We had a fantastic meal here, great service, 3 courses with a couple of glasses champagne £81, worth every penny. Try the beef cheek absolutely delicious tender and very tasty, and on deserts we shared between us the martini crepes and chocolate fondue. Do yourself a favour and try this place budget yourself £100 and you'll have change.

Arriving too early for Bike Show at Tobacco Dock we went to Cote St Katherine's Dock. A pleasant 8 hours sitting in the sunshine. Drinking wine, coffee water and eating good food. All reasonably priced. Good service. 5*****
G.
We have been to many Cote restaurants and I always opt for the Breton chicken. We always find the food good for a chain, unlike so many now. Having lunch with friends we all had the Breton chicken and I was really underwhelmed by it - not terrible but really nothing special either and not worth the cost. Plus we had to ask for the set lunch menus after the waiter had left the menus and returned - clearly he wasn’t going to just give them to us. A shame really as clearly standards have dropped.
H. L.
The food was good, the staff friendly, attentive and service also good. Had an unfortunate problem with my starter, but not of their making. This was pointed out, the dish was replaced and the charge taken off. ..... A good experience all.round. ......JLP
C. B.
Nice food. Great location. Good service.
z. r.
Lovely meal on a very busy night. Staff were amazing. Definitely go back
J. M.
One of their best located branches. Food items are always good and consistent. Prices have gone up like everything else in life, but wines are most notable, over £11 for a 250ml glass.
M.
Cote at St Katherine's Dock - extremely quiet but guaranteed good food and service.
g. s.
We have just had the most wonderful experience. Superb food, excellent service in a beautiful setting. Not one for chain restaurants in general, but this is definitely the exception to the rule.
R. R.
A nice French restaurant with river views all round. The food is tasty but for me there wasn't much choice on the menu, not being into seafood. Quite a few options for vegetarians and vegans. A service charge is automatically added to the bill, which I always find presumptuously irksome.
J. G.
Turned up without a reservation but was seated quickly. Unfortunately whilst our waiter was polite and pleasent the 2 items that we wanted were unavailable, the starter came out quickly but the main took ages. When we finally had had enough waiting for an hour and a half in we asked for the bill forgoing deserts.
I. M.
I love all Cote restaurants, all are in interesting places, but this one is the prettiest. The food is ALWAYS good, prices great and service impeccable, but being on st Catherine's dock, on the terrace, is something special. My pork belly and cabbage (£14.00) was up there with the best, and my husband's chicken grille (£12.95) is always delicious.
I've been dining at Cotes since they opened and have to say I've NEVER encountered some of the problems stated. It's always consistent, delicious and staff incredibly professional and friendly. And I think I've dined at most of them. So give it a try and judge for yourself!
N. G.
We have had a wonderful dinner tonight at Cote. I was very impressed with the service and the quality of food especially that the place was very busy. We were a party of 5 and everyone was very happy with their orders including grilled seabass, cote burger, beef bourguignon, crepes and chicken.
Many thanks to the staff including Julia.
This restaurant is located in picturesque St Katherine’s Docks. It was our first visit and I'm sure we will visit again.
O. S.
Been here few times, food always good and very friendly staff. I love quality vs price in Cote, but this one especially due to views on marina and large outdoor seating.
P. D.
I went for dinner with four friends earlier this week. Two of my friends had a birthday to celebrate 🍾. Narek, who I believe is the manager, was absolutely wonderful in his attention to making our evening great.
The food and drink was top class. Narek treated us to a bottle of champagne to assist the celebrations.
I would definitely recommend Cote at St Katherine's Dock.
D. P.
Great dinner and nice service
c. O.
It was quite busy but they found space for us although we had not prebooked. Staff were very courteous and efficient. We got our food quite quickly. The food was delicious! I would definitely recommend and visit again
E. P.
Great Restaurant.
Very busy but very efficient and friendly staff.
Good Value for Your Money.
Will visit again.
J. A.
Incredible food, great wine and superb service. Our waitress Francesca was wonderful and so were the entire FOH team. Thank you for giving us a wonderful evening!
A. d. K.
Making the most of the last few sunny days, a brunch in the sunny outdoors was needed.
Côte allows for this in their well laid out restaurant/seating on the docks. The food is good, reliable, but service needs improvement or reassessment.
I needed the eggs in my breakfast changed to what I ordered and it took forever for this to happen. The bill took forever to arrive and you often felt that by asking a question you were being a hindrance.
R. d. K.
Great place to have a calm breakfast. Nice seating with a view on the small harbor. The staff is very kind too. It's also very close to the Tower Bridge.
B. Z.
Hard poches eggs, but Really beautiful view. I’m a local so asked for them to change it
C. C.
Heated outdoor seating with umbrellas overlooking St. Katherine’s marina made for perfect outdoor dining. Had a lovely breakfast outside enjoying the scenery whilst slightly raining which made it super cosy! Definitely return here for sure.
B. T.
Decent cocktails, really enjoyed the appetizers such as the pate & chutney, but their steak offerings are just disappointing. We had both the ribeye and steak frites and they both came out kind of watery and texture of rubber.
E. P.
When we visit London instead of staying in the very center, we prefer this area close to Tower Bridge.
Good Hotels and restaurants near the Marina. A short bus ride to the central London.
E. B.
Nice atmosphere and good service. We got in twice without reservation but maybe due to the time of year (March) and time of night (after 8pm). Great quick steak frite!
T. C.
The 3-couese dinner set is reasonably priced, and the service is fantastic. We ordered an item that they later forgot to deliver. Even though they have immediately delivered it when we reminded them, they still took it off from the bill out of courtesy
M. C.
Good service, average food, my steak was supposed to be medium rare, it was closer to blue. Drinks v expensive even for London
K. W.
Had a great breakfast. Staff were lovely, great location , on the water at St Katherine's dock
R. N.
Great food, great staff.
L. L.
Lovely place. Food was delicious and service was good.
F. A.
Very nice customer service from the manager with glasses.
L. G.
I really love visiting Côte at St Katherine’s Docks, and the food has always been good! Last time I was there with my husband and 3yo daughter and they placed us in a very nice spot outside. Food was delicious and I need to point a high level of service! The staff were always helpful and smiling, it was so cozy that we easily spent 6 hours just chatting and having brunch, and then dinner:) thanks Cote for our great weekend!
D. C.
French cuisine with seasonal specials available. There is indoor and outdoor seating just beside Tower Bridge. It can get a bit noisy in the main indoor seating area so I recommend sitting either outside or just on the right when you enter the restaurant.
A. B.
Really good service. Mel was a wonderful waitress. The food was wonderful
D. P.
We love Cote Brasserie.
We go to the restaurant in Chelmsford where we live so coming to London seemed fitting to do the same.
We are in London to celebrate my husbands birthday and always go to Cole for a special meal.
The food is amazing and so is the service.
Thank you Francesca.
C. C.
Brilliant service and delicious food in a fantastic setting. Highly recommended.
S. L.
The place is lovely with such a nice views of the docks. The staff were wonderful, they really know how to treat customers and make you feel like you are at home. The food was great, very tasty. My favourite was dessert, the apple cake. It was the right size and superb.
I will go back again.
G. T.
Great place to eat. The food is varied, cooked well and tastes fantastic. The staff are also wonderful, friendly and helpful without being obtusive. 6 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 venue.
D. M.
Marvelous Sirloin and fries this afternoon. Great service from a nice team. Really excellent meal from start to finish.
Location at St Katharine's Dock is fantastic and a few minutes from home. Only downside tonight - that brand new £ multi million "houseboat" moored alongside obstructing the view. LOL.
J. J.
Good food, but staff were very busy and was left waiting for a while after asking for simple things like a menu.
R. &. t. G.
My partner, her parents and I just came back from a dinner at Côte.
The food was overall average ( my duck confit was really good, but my partner's sole was overcooked and beurre sauce a bit burned.).
As always the fougasse was excellent and the desserts lovely.
Tonight service was perfect. Our waitress Trang (sorry if I butchered your name) was lovely, helpful, attentive to our needs, friendly and really professional. Thank you for making my partner's birthday even better.
Those 5 stars are definitly thanks to this young lady!
K. P.
Basically I like Côte restaurants all over the London. Here the kitchen was good, as usual. Must try is definitely Creme Caramel, a special desert. But this time we were waiting for a bill for like 30 minutes, ridiculous..
A. W.
Great food and company. Staff were lovely and helpful. We enjoyed our visit
M.
Had a wonderful time here. Excellent food, quick and very friendly service, good price.
E. F.
My favourite brasserie chain. Excellent menu, great food and wine all at a nice price. This branch has a great view of the dock and located perfect for Tower Bridge and the Tower of London
K. H.
Working lunch at St Katherines Dock, Tower Hill London I must say good deal for £16.99 2 course lunch. mussels and bacon starter with a cracking #goatscheese #ravioli with butternut squash. Glass of red wine and happy boy. Good day at the office.
U. ü.
Its a dog friendly restaurant. We didnt have a booking but they arranged a table outside quickly. Love the food and service. Thank you👏👏
N. C.
Excellent french food! The views towards St. Katharine Docks are gorgeous and the creme au caramel is to die for!! Prices are reasonable!
L. S.
Really good service, the food was amazing fresh and tasty.
The moules and frites were very creamy and plenty of them.
The crab starter was very tasty too
L. S.
Very good and prompt service. The wine suggested to me was perfect as was the Sea Bass. Portions could have been a little larger but on the whole i would return if in the area.
J. C.
Nice meal. Lovely staff. Decent wine. Who could ask for more?
s. k.
Cant fault this restaurant. Food was first class as was the service. One of my favourite restaurant chains.
M. S. G.
Amazing place with a great view. The food was great and the service fantastic. Definitely coming back.
B. S.
Very nice location for an outdoor lunch with a view. If you're looking for a light lunch try their Tuna Nicoise Salad - my personal favourite 👍👍
R. C.
Visited with 2 friends during another heatwave around 3 weeks ago, sat outdoors, perfect for warm weather :) Great restaurant, excellent location in the dock, and serving (really, really good) food later than everyone else around! They also have an amazing selection of wines, which you should definitely ask the knowledgeable staff about. The lovely Italian waiter Davide brought me a glass of a wine I was initially skeptical about, only to turn out to be one of the best I've tried 😁 I've given 4 rather than 5 stars because when we tried to tip at the end of the meal a member of staff told us that it wasn't possible to tip via card, only cash, which we obviously didn't have, just like everyone else nowadays. I advise the manager to fix this problem as it creates a negative image of the restaurant as a workplace, and it leaves a customer who is happy with the service dissatisfied about not being able to reward the staff. See you again soon, another heatwave is here calling for outdoor dining!
A. P.
Friendly service. Food was OK but a bit expensive for what it was. Probably down to the location
S. S. M.
Beautiful ambience and great food.. deadly combined.. must go and enjoy the same whenever I have time in this area. Highly recommended
R. J.
Really delicious food.
Nice selection of beers.
Excellent attentive staff.
Gorgeous location.
Reasonable prices, considering location and quality.
Only one small grumble: the portion of fries was a little on the small size, I ended up having to buy my son 3 portions.
Generally excellent and recommended.
B. C.
Had evening meal with wife and grandson, good service and quality food , nice location
J. S.
Brilliant service. One of the best Côtes in London, and I've tried a few. Secluded but accessible location in the Docks not far from Tower Hill station. Sit outside for lovely views. Special mention to the staff here who made it a perfect birthday celebration for my mum.
N. M.
Beautiful restaurant with excellent dining options. Personal favourite the homemade fresh desserts.
A. D.
Great location for meetings and breakfast, especially in the sun. I could sit there all day, everyday chilling out, having meetings and people watching.
Staff are nice, just came over a little too often asking if you want more drinks when we hadn't even finished our 1st. There could have been worse things, but they just needed to talk to each other, having 2 waitresses was a bit much.
P. M.
Loved this place and setting, it has a strong welcoming vibe when you enter, our waiter Kayhan was very professional and took time out to explain the menu and constantly kept refreshing our wine glasses.
The food was very good through all the 3 courses together with the wine, all in all a great night to finish our weekend and would be coming back.
g. p.
Lovely setting and a great location. Couldn't fault the meal. Be wary tho..we were a group of four and it was one of the men's birthday. After the main course was finished we were greeted with 4 glasses of pink sparkling wine and a chocolate dessert..complimentary we thought but no..including service charge an extra £40 on top of the bill..
m. t.
Just did a walk in, shown to a delightful table for two. Service was excellent, food was good and tasty. The Crab and the Chicken liver parfait starters were the standout with the chocolate fondant making a nice late lunch/early dinner on a Saturday.
A. H.
I was dining alone again - working away, and ordered the duck confit which was labeled a quick dish. Well it was quick, and very delicious, with the right seasoning and a crispy skin. Enjoyed with a glass of merlot (at a good temperature) and appreciated the complimentary filtered water. Nice touch!
Friendly staff and quick turnaround meant I was in and out before I felt out of place.
S. M.
I love the area, St. Katherine's dock is one of my favourite spot in London. The view is very nice from Cote. The food is good and the service is carried out with care. The stuff was very nice and polite. The coffee is a bit bitter for my taste but that is subjective.
C. C.
Views are lovely and menu is really nice👌🏾💫
S. C.
Lovely French cuisine, a good selection of drinks. Service is good and the restuarant is clean. Nice view of the docks and perfect outside seating to catch the sun. Pork belly is particularly good and so is the crab start. I highly recommend for a quick bite
N. L.
Great food as always. We will be coming back. 👍
e. w. o. R.
Had breakfast in this nice French restaurant. It was lovely sitting down by the water having breakfast. The service was good and we were seated quickly and served fast too . I had eggs Benedict and my companion had eggs royale. It was good without being amazing; the eggs royale was slightly better . Had earl grey which tasted like an average breakfast tea.
C. K.
Excellent snack lunch on a very hot day, after doing the Tower Bridge walk. Very pleasant, still fairly quiet, with only "local" tourists about. Good service whilst we sat outside overlooking the moorings. The brie baguette and ice-cold Cidre were spot on.
b. l.
Staff were really friendly, food was really nice. You know what you're getting with Cote and it does what it says. Nice steak well cooked, lovely cheese board and a very decent wine list. Nice views across the dock and great service.
D. B.
Prices are good but the food is not spectacular. Friendly stuff. Had calamari and pate for starters, fish stew and lamb chops for the main, french beans and potato gratin for sides. All of them were ok. The best one was calamari i would say.
A. F.
Amazing service!!!! you can tell they are a very experienced team.
Julia the manager and the whole team provided a top quality service. I have been to lots of great restaurants in London, and Cote St Katherine's Docks is a restaurant that provides service and amazing food.
C. W.
Rose and a fish type of stew with fresh bread. Blooming lovely. The staff were knowledgeable about the food and even let my pooch sit next to me (on his travel blanket) we had a lovely lunch. The location is of Tower Hill and there's lots of people watching to be had.
J. P.
Lovely food in a perfect location. Very reasonable for the area.
T. C.
Lovely location, welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food.
D. R.
Food excellent
Restaurant very noisy, difficult to hold a conversation even though a small group of 7
C. P.
Went here on way to visit the tower of london for breakfast, lovely service and venue. Always very good with gluten free too.
M. M.
One day in London to see my friends. We make breakfast in her. Good location, polite service but not so fast and they mix my fried order.
O. H.
My favourite côté brasserie to come to. This place always has the friendliest staff, nicest food and a stunning view. Sitting on this terrace eating a steak drinking a nice wine and looking at the boats in the marina... Perfection.
A. P.
Vegan breakfast was yummy; would have liked the option to have had a larger portion. We got there just after opening time and waiters were quick to serve us and attentive throughout
C. A.
On the first night of a recent stay in London, we ate here and both had a lovely meal. The fish parmentier was very good and my husband enjoyed the boeuf bourguignon.
The restaurant is in a great location with the option of outside seating on a deck overlooking the water.
Failing to get a table at another restaurant on our second night, we ate here again, this time both opting for the ribeye steak; sadly it was not as good as expected, and I wouldn't recommend it as a good menu choice. However, there are plenty of other choices and I would eat at this restaurant again.
P. S.
The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
G. D.
Delicious filet Steak, cooked perfectly. Service quick and friendly.
l. A.
Called in here for some breakfast. As we liked the location by the marina. On a glorious sunny Saturday morning in July. 17th21 we couldn't fault the food we had. It was delicious. So glad we did . It got our weekend away off to a wonderful start
P. G.
Lovely location, attentive staff, varied menu and food good and well presented. Wine list not overpriced either.
W. P.
Lively restaurant, good menu and great atmosphere, friendly staff too
S. E.
Nice place, delicious food, good value for money, and very quiet. Perfect for a romantic dinner.
N. M.
Really good food, slightly overpriced unfortunately the service let them down 1out of 5 meals was forgotten about and didn't come out, same happened to starters and drinks.
Staff pushed their luck trying to upsell other products and push specific dishes to the diners despite being told about allergies.
With better staff would be a better score, food score would be 4 out of 5
N. A.
Food and service was good, a bit slow but was really good happy with visit and would visit again
N. C.
Been in this restaurant several times food always up to standards and staff are great 👍not great as usual used to be
P. B.
Excellent service. The ribeye with frite was great. Desert was the best!
A. M. A.
It happened to be a very unusual day. The sun decided to show up, which enabled my friend& I to sit uncomfortably outside. The food was reasonably priced & well prepared, Waiting staff on point
P. H.
Absolutely amazing service and location. Will definitely be back again.
R. A.
Not the first time we have eaten here and this time it was OK. One or two thngs were not the best but it was very convenient as we were staying at the Tower Hotel.
C. S.
Absolutely lovely, our second visit and it didn't disapoint fabulous atmosphere and the staff are very attentive. Food delicious and very hot. Couldn't fault anything.
G. H.
Absolutely fabulous meal, lovely setting and great service
G. S.
Good service from friendly staff. Good food, in a relaxed and well presented restaurant. They could improve by greeting/ seating guests quicker
N. D.
Location is amazing but very disappointed with the service. Restaurant half empty but staff so in rush to get rid of you? Brings you a bill when you only in the middle of your planned stay, taking off plates when you are in the middle of eating. Quite expensive place but service really not the best.
S. X. W.
Excellent food and value for money!
l. N.
Realy nice staff, good clean food. Had a nice night.
J. M.
I had a lovely afternoon at Cote. I was with a group of friends and we sat outside in the sunshine, eating and drinking. The terrace outside Cote overlooks the harbour at St Katherine Docks so great views. The staff were fantastic and attentive particularly Suzie, Tiziana and Neomi who really made the experience perfect for us.
R. A.
Great selection on menu. Lovely food and wine and great service from Davide V. We will return on our next trip to London.
R. B.
Very nice, food good, service excellent I would give it 5 stars but the table was so small that we barely managed to fit two plates and two drinks on. First World problems I suppose
G. A.
Afternoon treat on a hot summer day. Paired with some cold gin and tonic. The service was very attentive and nice. Will probably go back for lunch or dinner next time.
K. K.
Absolutely wonderful place, romantic, nice views, River Thames, Tower Bridge, and the city in the night are breathtaking.
The food was delicious and the dessert was just perfect coupled with the nice customer service that made it an enjoyable evening for us. I would recommend it.
L. G.
Lovely staff and beautiful food recommend this place
J. S.
I admire this spot! They offer decent meals, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that restaurant is very experienced, I enjoy a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the guests is agreeable. I visit often this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.
N. M.
Great location, average food
M. W.
I am a big fan of Côte and the food has always been good. But I have to give a very special review for this particular location. I went in to celebrate my birthday with a friend and being in the good mood i was in, i asked for a great table as it was my birthday. They placed us in a very nice spot and while me and my mate were chatting they brought over complimentary drinks as a happy birthday! Now I've visited many Côte restaurants for my birthday before and even mentioned it when chatting to the waiters but this level of service was a great surprise and treat.
The food was great, I had the Breton chicken and the overall service was excellent, the girls were always helpful and smiling, I did not take any names but I really hope they do get their tips as they made my birthday feel even better than by choosing to eat there so thanks.
Y. D.
Great French style chain. I love the docks so nice atmosphere! The food is good, the prices are decent for London.
A. L.
Great value for money. Will definitely be returning!
M.
Monday morning breakfast was okay. Nice view of the harbour. Had the full English, the poached eggs were cold, coffee was good. Fruit salad was fresh. Service was inconsistent, I was seated immediately and the server took my order quickly and came promptly with my coffee, but the food took a while, I had to ask twice for my bill and they took a long time to come collect my payment and provide change.
I. L.
Beautiful place, delicious food, friendly staff
C. L.
Excellent food in an exciting and stylish environment
A. A.
Great service and food consistently, very nice view over the docks with a lovely outdoor terrace with options in and out of sun. This is a premium Cote with a local feel.
K. C.
Excellent food and service. For of us had different meals but we all had perfectly cooked food. Maria served us and she was friendly, helpful, and seemed really happy which was contagious. She even remembered who ordered what; simple but a missing capability in so many resteraunts. We will definitely go back.
D. R.
Eaten here a few times. Always very good food, great sevice. Had a meal pre-Christmas when very busy and service was A1.
A colleague has a lot of food allergies and they dealt with him amazingly well.
Breakfasts are pretty much the best I've had anywhere in years and very reasonably priced for the quality, esp in London!
E. T.
Okay place to have a quick dinner. Service was just okay and food was good. Check your bill carefully....
P. T.
After visiting the Tower of London we called here for lunch on a Saturday without booking. We were, just, able to get a table for three. Had we been a few minutes later we would have been turned away as it was packed! We opted for the set meal. As it was full I anticipated a long wait. Much to my pleasure it turned up in ~15 minutes and was very hot and tasted great.
So I can recommend it as quick and really tasty.
J. C.
Food was excellent and service was fast and attentive without being overpowering. The set menu was really good value and had a nice selection of mains, and a variety of starters. The staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere was quiet but still warm.
M. S.
Had dinner here on a beautiful July evening. we had a table outside by the river. The food was excellent and portions although adequate were not too huge. The menu was interesting. It was my birthday and it was a lovely place to celebrate it.
R. H.
Really great evening. Staff were very accomodating (not the most straightforward booking with some people joining later in evening), great venue with outdoor heating (great during lockdown) and good food for the money (really nice without being unreasonably priced).
K. T.
Wonderful food. Excellent, friendly service. Would return if we were on the area again.
P. A.
Great foods and excellent customer service 👌👍
a. a.
Lovely place, everyone is very friendly
J. C.
Enjoyed eating @ Cote Brasserie very much, almost like being in France. Excellent food perfectly cooked (rare steak was exactky as it should be) and service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Good value for money especially in London.
H. S.
We had a good meal there.
Very good service. Despite being full and maybe beyond with patrons, the service was reasonably good.
The food was great too. We had a some very nice dishes even for our picky taste (vegan/vegetarian).
L. F.
Good value for money, the food and wine are nice
D. B.
The usual delicious and reliable food as always from Cotĕ. Great to have a slight menu change but still the same favourites are also available.
A. G.
Ambience was lovely. Location is fabulous and the food was absolutely amazing - thumbs up from my son who is a chef 😁 service very attentive. Not the cheapest place to go (£80 for bread, a starter, two mains, a bottle of wine and a couple of beers) but I wouldn't hesitate to go back
B. P.
We had a nice meal with husband for our 10years anniversary.
food was amazing.
I am dairy and gluten free , i had no problems with that and even had desert too
Great location, will be visiting again 😊
After some issues all been sorted with a friendly staff. Thank you very much
L. D.
Great Location, fantastic view on to St Katherine Dock, nice atmosphere good value set meal. But beware if you only want a small glass of wine be sure to say as when I ordered a glass of wine they brought medium without asking, I drank it but would have been just as happy with a small (and the smaller price tag) so lost a star for that as I think it's a bit sneaky.
E. B.
This restaurant is located in such a beautiful part of London. The atmosphere is relaxing. The warm greeting we got was exceptional. We was set in a secluded part of the restaurant with views of the Tower of London.
We chose the Prestige menu which was the Calamari, Rib Eye steak and Creme Caramel and Chocolate Mousse which was exceptional!!
The calamari and steak was cooked perfectly. The hospitality was fantastic as will definitely return back to this establishment. Highly recommended
A. A.
The food was really good. I went with a couple of friends for Christmas lunch and the vibe was lively, it was really busy with a few people having to wait for tables. If their 'usual' food is cooked to the standard of my experience and their level of service is still like I had it, then it's a winner.
B. P.
The steak is decent.
They cook it nicely to your specification.
Which is expected because this restaurant is designed to give you comfort.
No frills. No disappoint. Nothing new.
I don't know who I would reccomend it to other than myself, the day I want a decent steak.
No more no less.
Deserves exactly 3 stars
M. L.
Lovely setting with good view of the docks. Very quick service. Food as good as every other Cote
C. P.
I had lunch with two visiting American friends. We all had the weekend special of 1/2 Breton chicken with green beans and gratin potatoes. The gratin was so so, perfectly acceptable but not great. Green beans are green beans and were well cooked. The chicken was simply wonderful, perfectly cooked and just delicious. We each had glasses of wine. My Chablis was all right but I would have been better off with the house white. I like Cote. For a chain they are consistent and very responsive if you are not happy with something. Since the unfortunate demise of Cau, Cote is the only place I eat at St Katherine's Dock. I'll keep going back.
T. H.
Looks much more fancy than it is. Service treats you high class and is really conscious. But the food doesn't stand the level of the flair. Although the wine was exquisite.
M. D.
Amazing food and a lovely vibe in the restaurant we found this place by accident and so glad we did
M. H.
Must say this place doesn't feel like a chain restaurant at all. Instantly welcomed by polite staff, drink orders taken very quickly. The food was really good and alot better than what I expected. Will be visiting again very soon. Prices aren't bad considering it's in an expensive area of London... (its all expensive) 🙄🙄
m. p.
A nice place for a casual dinner. They have very good customer service (at least in my experience), good menu choice and the food is more than ok... maybe it misses the wow factor but I think it's good enough. It should not be difficult to spot it as it is at the very beginning of the docks. Good experience overall.
I. A.
If I could I would leave 10 stars. Suited in the most magical location with an amazing view over St. Kathrine's docks. The venue had an amazing atmosphere and the staff that works there is just the cherry on top of the cake. I was there last night to celebrate my birthday with friends. They have prepared an amazingly set table, straight a complimentary fizz was brought to table which I really apriciated it. We had nibbles, starters and mains ordered sgraight away and everything was brought one after another in perfect timing. I have no words to describe how delicious the food was, massive compliments to the chef for taste and presentation of the. The waitresses and the host (who I really regret not asking the names of) went beyond my expectations and made my day really special. Thank you all, will definetely be coming back :)
A. G.
Food was very tasty, service quick and efficient, staff friendly. Good value.
A. K.
Very good burger coupled with polite and fast service
C. Y.
Attentive staff and great food.
M. B.
Superb food and service as always.
M. C.
Lovely place to eat or even have a coffee during summer as the outside terrace/ patio is a wonderful place to sit. A really nice view too. Menu is inexpensive and affordable.
A. S.
Very good, really prompt service. Fish dishes (starter and main) both not quite to my taste. Lightly done but my wife's beef bourginon was sublime. Bill comes with optional 12.5% service charge included. 1/8th.
L. O.
Having already been to one in Cardiff Central I was happy to go again because there is a good choice of dishes. My prawns gratiné starter was great and the fact I could order it without the chilli proves they have proper chefs and don't just open packets! And the real star was the duck breast which was tasty and tender and beautifully presented and with those lovely boozy cherries.
L. K.
Typical of the chain, but in a pleasant environment. Food and service were both good. I'm not a huge fan of the booth seating, I prefer to have a proper chair at a table when I eat, but it's a small criticism.
E. B. L.
Great food great service just what you expect from Cote. Does not take cash only cards currently
A. T.
I’ve been here a few times. Very tasty food, friendly staff.
P.S. Many thanks to the manager who accommodated us wonderfully yesterday. We had a lovely time with a beautiful view.
P. U.
Wa served by was really friendly and efficient staff. The food was really good and they could not do enough for you without being over the top.
C. B.
Tried and tested Cote Brasserie works as a frequent restaurant for those of you that like fine wine fine food and fantastic service! Went there this time for my dad's birthday was exceedingly pleased special shout out to waitress Elisa who went above and beyond absolutely five-star customer service and makes a mean cortado... Brasserie should be proud!
L. T.
Great service, nice food choices and a pleasant location for couples. Vegan options clearly labelled on the menu.
K. M.
Great, very friendly and comfortable service with good food and not expensive. Inside and outside options in a nice environment.
I. B.
Good food and service.staff courteous and welcoming.
A. B.
This branch of Cote was extremely friendly and pleasant for my friend and I when we were looking for a good place to lunch. The weekend lunch menu is great value and we were recommended some great desserts from our very helpful waiter. I'm a big fan of Cote Brasserie as a restaurant chain and this branch was just as good as the others I've been to.
N. D.
Food fantastic, only gave 4 stars as service not the best. Forgot water, sauce for food and coffee. Charged for everything, including service. No probs though taking off extra costs. Would definitely revisit as got the impression the service was a one off.
D. F. (.
Excellent evening meal, great food. Waitstaff were proactive about my wife's lactose intolerance, and responded well to my mentioning it was a birthday dinner when I booked online.
l. K.
Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful experience service was 5 star our waitress was called Maria who really made our experience perfect her wine and food recommendation was great will definitely be back soon. Thank you for a perfect evening
V. A.
Just love the food here, be it breakfast or dinner. Plus this location in particular has very good ambience and location. In case you're here for breakfast, definitely try Eggs Royale, I just live it. I visit London occasionally on business, this is one dish that I keep remembering while I'm back home too.
Cheers
G. D.
Food was good and staff were very nice. I would give 5 star but Cote hasn’t changed their menu in 5 years at least. Same dishes all the time. They really need to come up with a new & exciting menu.
J. W.
Food was ok when they eventually got the food right, my partner wanted a well done steak no garlic butter, the first attempt it came out rare, we sent it back, it then came back but this time covered in Gstlic butter, sent back again, at the third attempt they got it right! They did reduce our bill but I would not recommend going there.
P. D.
Nice food and good service. Really enjoy the belly pork with a glass of cider.
A. P. &. D.
It's such a lovely restaurant, great food, great wine, lovely views. Feels like being on hols, for us Londoners!
G. C.
Great food, great atmosphere and for London the prices were not too scary.
Would highly recommend.
COVID processes were good and followed while we were there.
L. Z.
Food was good and the portion was big enough.
H. L.
Very good food. Was a busy night so the waiting time was a little bit long. But the waiter gave us an extra glass of wine. So thumbs up for that.
J. H.
a very clean restaurant staff efficient polite food delicious I can recommend this restaurant 5 stars
J. T.
I love Cote! Staff in this branch is so good and food is so yummy! If you love eggs benedict for breakfast you should go there without a doubt! They have a really reasonably priced breakfast offering!
S. C.
Good service, cheerful and happy disposition by all. Had to wait a little longer due to a mix up with the order but nothing major. Great setting and lively atmosphere—plenty of people about. A little windy so might not be everyone's first choice under certain conditions.
C. C.
Simply amazing ! We had breakfast outside, view on the boats, with a lot of sun ! Great benedict eggs, the food was really good and fresh (full english breakfast served with avocado and garlic spinach... Delicious!), warm and professional welcome in a very quiet and peaceful area of London ! Perfect way to wake up ! We'll definitely come back !
C. D.
Excellent service, lovely location, great menu and best fries on the planet!!! And also very child friendly. Highly recommend.
H. A.
Had a wonderful evening. The waiting staff warmed as the evening went on. Food was tasty, wine list good, we tried most of it, they were great as one of our party had a birthday.
T. S.
Really good food and helpful staff
S. C.
It was a really nice atmosphere to sit outside with views of the wharf and the activity all around. The food was very good. Lunch prices were reasonable for London.
G. T.
We come here on the odd occasion and it can be touch and go. Drink options are limited and the menu isn't that vast, however it is a nice place if you get in early. It gets very noisy after 7 as conversation echos a lot.
P. N.
Ummmm...not sure about the restaurant. Ahh, thats it, it does not have a heart beat❤ it's a lovey space and the location is great. I think it would be good to create a inviting atmosphere as a starting point. I have been twice, the staff are polite and well presented. The food is reasonable and drinks menu is to. Not sure if I will VISIT again any time soon.
Thank Y😏ou
T. W.
Mega tasty. Spoiled for choice and everything was delicious. Layout is lovely with a great view of the docks. Would like to see a more obvious veggie section on the menu.
T. Z.
Lovely set up. Average creme brûlée. Decent service but be warned that the “optional” 12.5% tip is not optional here. Even if you don’t agree the service was worth it, they will make you pay for it. Not sure how legal that is...
T. G.
A fantastic venue for a relaxing meal, excellent service, friendly staff..nice menu choice.
S. W.
I’ve been to many Cotes before and they always deliver. The same with this one (I’m here 4th time). The service is always great, food very good quality for the price, outdoor seating overlooking marina is also very pleasant.
S. S.
Always great food in Cote. good buzzing atmosphere. shame no real ales.
G. S.
Food was tasty. Good dinner deals with set prices. Would skip the calamari starter as it's a bit bland but the salmon main is very good.
L. V.
Côte is a high street winner all over the place but here it goes up a serious level with the setting and the views from Katherine's Dock all around. Menu is the same and it has options for every taste. Loads of business people in suits around during lunchtime. Staff is friendly and helpful and prices are honest, especially with the options from the lunch set meal.
J. C.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. Excellent location, very near to Tower Bridge. Steak frites was very enjoyable . Friends had the fish pie which they enjoyed very much.
A. T.
Not exceptional and not bad. It's a solid 3 star restaurant and a convenient nice location! The food is fine, the atmosphere is fine... Everything is fine but not great or exceptional!
L. M.
Cote Brasserie is a wonderful warm welcoming place to visit. Went as a party of 6 for a meal. Food was incredible I had 'Half Chargrilled Breton Chicken with Provencale Sauce. Was cooked well and came with' frittes' which are basically skinny chips🍟 also had the Chocolate Fondant which was exceptionally well done. I highly recommend to anyone.
D. W.
Excellent food and the wait staff were polite, but not so polite as to be stiff and uninterested. Been to the Covent garden one and it isn't as nice (helped by the additional room and the great view of the Dock)
M. L. D.
We loved it here been twice so far, and it's been really nice food
U. V.
The food is and has always been exemplary, but the service has just gone even better than before Covit. They are going over and beyond the 'normal' 'nice' services.
m.
very nice service ... the food..simply ... but just ... I have no words ... so delicious!🥰
S. P.
Great service, good price on the food and would definetly recommend the mussels
R. N.
Food a bit above average, i.e. better than most chains,, somewhat cramped seating, outdoor seating better. Prices high for what is served but not for the area. Stylish waitstaff and clientele.
J. P.
Great location, food and prices. Menu resembles more a chain style food but freshly prepared but the puddings are great especially if seated outside on a nice day.
C. R.
We came here for dessert. The atmosphere was pleasant with French music playing in the background, and the wait staff was friendly and professional. The desserts were delicious. Overall a great experience.
C. C.
Loved it, great atmosphere, the food is good. Great for a date
T. S.
Very tasty. I had the vegetarian breakfast, which had such an interesting assortment. 10 pounds gets you a big breakfast, fresh juice, and a hot drink. Service was also helpful and friendly.
M.
Super fancy and delicious restaurant. The gluten free options were amazing, and the normal menu items were also outstanding. The wine was magnificent.
L. M.
The food is great and they always provide fantastic service!
C. D.
Staff friendly food disappointing
D. R.
Excellent service and food. Staff very attentive and helpful.
L. K.
Part of a chain, so you know what to expect. Food & service is good, but it's the location that makes it pleasant. Being on the dock is really pleasant (providing the sun is shining).
J. G.
Friendly staff, good selection on the menu and reasonably priced. Booking recommended at busy times but we were lucky as a walk in and only had to wait 10 mins for a table. Many thanks to all!!!
R. A.
Food took long even though we sent our orders in last orders. My chicken was not cooked properly. The creme brulee was the highlight for me.
P. H.
Booked a table for 5 for an early dinner, the service and food was excellent from start to finish
J. J.
Excellent food and great service from Oana. The ribeye is served at perfect medium rare, the black truffle hollandaise sauce is quite good and the chocolate mousse is worth the calories.
A. A.
Location is fantastic. The staff were very attentive and the food was not Michelin star but good. Great place to dine on a sunny summer's day
F. R.
Excellent food and service.
P. A.
Amazing views of tower bridge and st Katharine's dock, good service and food was lovely too
A. W.
Lovely restaurant in the tranquil St. Katherine's dock. Excellent food served by very friendly and helpful staff. Was so nice we went back for breakfast the next day
I. S.
The food & wine were great and reasonably priced. The staff was welcoming & helpful. It gets very noisy in here when busy, as the tables are quite compact and the acoustics are echoed.
L. K. J.
Nice location, good food, great view, excellent hospitality!
J. S.
Lovely vegan breakfast.
M. K.
Impressive food, succullent and moist meat (had medium rare duck in red wine jus), impresive liver parfait - wide range of starters and appropriate wine tasting manners before serving. Staff were really friendly, professional and knowledgable of menu. Strongly recommended venue.
J. M.
Great setting - great service and lovely food. Cote really know what they're doing with the upscale mass market Brasserie set up and nail it every time!
V. G.
Great customer service and food :-) We went there on a Sunday with my friend and we've had a dessert crumble apricot and apple offered. Great establishment and personnel ;-) We will come back for sure. Thank you :-)
M. J.
Great location. Good food and customer experience
P. C.
Attention to detail could make an unsatisfactory dining experience into a good one. Dined here two nights in a row. Second time just in case the first was an anomaly. I was right the first time. I was eating during the filming of an episode of Faulty Towers or maybe Clochemerle, the 1972 BBC adaption of the Chevallier classic. A flag semaphore is a must if one wants to get staff attention here. The food. Seems by the texture that much of it is prepared off site, frozen and then thawed or microwaved to order. Case in point - the Tart au Citron - arrives cold in the middle with soggy pastry - the filling is actually good but its a let down. The Pissaladiere is passable but seems to have suffered from freezing and reheating as well. The roast cod with peas and braised lettuce is a French classic, or it should be. The peas and lettuce are perfect but the cod is badly overcooked and the whole dish is swamped in a deadly thick cream sauce rather than moistened with a delicate white wine and cream emulsion. The Crepes with Grand Marnier is a weak attempt at a deconstruction of Crepes Suzette. The hand of the freezer and microwave possibly lurking in the background with this one as well. When i discuss this with the manager i get a "good will" discount off the bill. Not the point but at least he feels empowered to make a decision. Will I go back. No, not unless someone sends the Chef on an education tour of France to sample the real thing and lift his game. Staff need training and bettet supervision as well.
A. B.
Lovely location to spend time. Tower Bridge there and the Tower of London. Very good choice of food.
J. M.
Dedicated gluten-free menu and a wonderful setting. Delicious meals at good prices. Nice wine. Friendly staff. Can’t fault it.
J. C.
Food is always good, been here over 5 times now. Last visit had terrible service from a manager who forgot our order, didn't give us cutlery and was uninterested. Unlikely to go back to this branch for a while.
T. F.
Very nice service and a friendly environment. Food was good, simple and well presented. The larger dining area can become loud when busy.
N. B.
Great food and Exceptional Service. What a team the Staff are to deliver a FANTASTIC Customer experience. Well done guys, we'll definitely be back.
M. B.
Great pre-Christmas family meal. Service was spot on attentive but not intrusive, food, as usual, was very good. Thanks again Cote.
M. “. U.
Staff were very welcoming and, due reservation for a special occasion, had a lovely table by the window. Food and drink were good and service was prompt.
D. G.
Great food and most of the service was superb
M. O.
Really nice food with waitring which they were nice. And polite
L. O.
Food here is always great and we were given the best table with a view, however as the evening goes on you get somewhat ignored by the staff...
M. F.
Good food and lovely staff... Can get a bit busy
E. C.
Service was fab
Food as expected for Cote
Coffee nice
Served quick and efficiently
i. c.
Good range of French cuisine but not too pricey. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was superb. Great view of the docks.
J. W.
Food very ordinary. Nothing to write home about. It is chain food but ok. Staff helpful. I eat of the special so good price at ,£ 12. Drinks were dear.
J. D.
Really good food, friendly staff and well priced. Recommended :)
B. N.
Very scene place with view of yacht and boats and very nice breakfast
A. j.
Beautifully organised, inside beautiful but sat outside. The service was fine too and friendly.
C. P.
Nice setting and decent service
M. E.
Can't complain about anything just the wait staff was abit awkward. Otherwise food is great and maybe the tables outside could be bigger.
M. C.
Was wet and windy the cassoulet was warming the winter veggies rock hard. Luckily they softened in the sauce, not my favourite branch of this chain.
M.
It is a nice place to visit, maybe tables outside are a little close to each other (with ongoing pandemic in mind).
E. F. S.
50th birthday brunch from my wife. Greeted with a warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and view and an extremely taste filled experience.
S. R.
Lovely service from Nicky who was welcoming and helpful - a great breakfast, thank you.
D. W.
Nice location and great staff. Food was good but not quite the excellent standard.
S. G.
Really good food, excellent service, reasonably busy all night and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely not too expensive for a central London restaurant.
C. M.
AMAZING value for money. 3 course set menu for £15 next to Tower Bridge....AWESOME.
Nice service, lovely place, good food .... just book...its good.
C. S.
Had a wonderful birthday celebration here, food was great and so was the service; our American waitress was lovely!
j. s.
Had lunch here yesterday. Can't go wrong with the set menu. Great value for good food.
M. B.
Good food. Good service. The manager is a bit harsh on the staff in front of the everybody who's eating. Strange thing to see.
v. v.
Pleasent staff. Good food. Nice atmosphere.
G. A.
Great location. Very helpful and friendly. Adequate food.
J. O.
Superior breakfast! The eggs Benedict and the vegetarian breakfast were extremely good. Not to forget about the very obliging staff.
T. R.
Lovely place to eat and drink in London just by tower bridge lovely place to go with friends or family plenty to choose from and brilliant location it's a must to visit.
B. S.
Cote restaurants are dependable for good food and atmosphere. This is a good example with the added advantage of outside tables, including a large terrace overlooking the dock.
F. V.
Good food in this chain of French restaurants. The meat is always delicious and the service of good standard. Would recommend for a nice lunch or business lunch
T. V.
Lovely setting in the docks. Not cheap, but quality of the food is good enough. Extensive menu, with nice classics.
C. G.
Friendly staff. Good food. Lively atmosphere. Really enjoyed our evening.
M. P.
Excellent food, the service was very quick and efficient. I recomend the calamari, the steak and the vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate.
M. B.
Really enjoyed the food and as they weren’t full on a midweek afternoon staff were very accommodating letting our group stay a while after our meal
D. H.
Team were so welcoming, food lovely as always
J. W.

S. M.
Very good food and fantastic service. If you are close to the Tower of London, you should give it a try.
J. R. R.
Food is great for a chain restaurant, but the service here is slow and they forgot we wanted water three times.
H. R.
Always good food and good service. My favourite place when I go down to st katherine's marina.
D.
A Cote is a Cote..reasonable food but essentially knock it out fare at a price. Nice location here next to the old dock and Tower Bridge, Tower of London.
B. H.
We had the 2 course meal for £12 and it was great! Affordable, great food, would recommend.
C. J. F.

P. G.
I visited my son in London from Canada and we ate all our suppers there. The best. I wish we had Cote restaurants in Canada, too!
D. C.

Was wet and windy the cassoulet was warming the winter veggies rock hard. Luckily they softened in the sauce, not my favourite branch of this chain.
