Visited for a work Xmas party in the evening. Lots of other work Xmas party going on so the restaurant was fully booked and very busy. The staff were very organised, we had pre- ordered our food for the night. I had a prawn starter which was a few cold prawns with a slice of hard bread and a green sauce and salad - a light starter, not very tasty. Other options were pate, salmon. Mains- I had steak which was very delicious and cooked well, came with chips and a small salad. There was a turkey Xmas dinner options but I have never enjoyed turkey. I had the meringue/cream stacked dessert - mont blanc, it was very very sweet, difficult to eat. The staff looked after us well and it was very well organized and ran smoothly. A good Xmas vibe and accommodating for large group Xmas meal bookings.

Came here Valentine's day. Staff very attentive. For wheelchair access it is best to ask inside and they'll bring out a ramp. Very friendly and helpful staff. Karolina and the manager v nice.Disabled loos quite accessible though normal toilets steep steps. . Their steaks are very good. Decent set menu which not too expensive. A la carte obviously more but hey we were celebrating. Can recommend.

Very accommodating staff. We went for my husband's birthday dinner. They put a birthday card and streamer on our table, which was nice. And they put a candle in his dessert and seived a happy birthday message on the side. An enjoyable evening. A bit pricey but it's worth it.

Visited this restaurant on New Year's Day, had to wait for 30 mins but that's ok as we didn't book a table. The staff was courteous. The cloudy lemonade was refreshing. Tried the 3-course lunch menu - the potato and cauliflower soup was lovely and smooth, the steak was well cooked and the chocolate pot was delicious. Lovely view across the high street. The quality of food was better than the Cote in Tunbridge Wells where we had dinner last week. Well done.

Had been to Cote Wimbledon with few friends for breakfast, and had had a very pleasant experience, friendly staff, and delicious food. So for this family gathering this weekend, I decided for Cote. They also offered this very generous courtesy glass of Champagne for all at the table (note: lunch from the Al A Carte menu). Well it had been our intention to order "al a carte" all along, so a perfect complement! Champagne was a refined start, to a meal that would turn out to be absolutely delightful! It was also very delicate taste, dry and fine! I went for prawns gratinee as starter, others had the pate, mine was tasty, i love prawns, and theirs had this touch of butter with nice and soft prawns, mouthwatering! My main was "Roasted Swordfish in Champagne Beurre sauce", which I specifically marked down, as the sauce was simply divine! My daughter had the "Walnut Camembert Cheese Ravioli with wild mushrooms" which she also said, was excellent! And my stepson had the "Half Chargrilled Breton Chicken" and again fabulous! We all had the Chocolate Fondant as pudding, except my husband who went for the "tarte fine aux pomme"! Cote is a great local Bistro, and I could not recommend them enough! I will certainly be there again before too long... ;-)

I have always been a big fan of Cote so when they sent me an email offering the Summer of Rose, I couldn't say no. My guest and I were very impressed with our waitress Karolina the service she gave from talking us through the menus, advising us on the best complementary dishes to accompany the Rose we had chosen, I can be quite indecisive when ordering food, so the patience and time she took really made the whole evening venue better then expected . I honestly have missed going out so much with lockdown and I noticed with great delight the atmosphere within Cote was fabulous, staff looked happy, the food was brilliant and most importantly the wine was Devine! Massive THANK YOU to Karolina for making our night!

Always a safe bet going to Cote. The restaurant whilst it appears small from the outside, is actually very spacious inside. Service is always attentive without being intrusive. They even give you unlimited bottles of free filtered tap water, a rarity in London! The toilets are located in the basement level and there is a pretty steep set of steps to navigate, so be mindful of this if you arent very mobile. I would recommend their Steaks and Fish stew. Having tried them both, they are very good. But make sure to leave space for the Chocloate, Praline and Banana Crepes!

The chubby Polish waiter was a bit over the top, perhaps he was trying to impress his manager standing behind him...I don't know. I asked for Espresso Martini and my God that was hard! His enthusiasm to persuade me not to get one was actually annoying and unnecessary. Honestly, what was that about?? Please don't do that again. Other than that, the food there was ok, definitely overpriced. Some of the staff have strong accents, even harder to understand them through the masks. Overall it's ok.

Often go here for breakfast, service is always fast and friendly, food tastes amazing. It is definitely the best value for money locally, at £10.99 for breakfast a coffee and a juice. My only small criticism is that on a few occasions the food is not quite hot enough, it's not cold but just warm, which is the only reason it's not 5 stars. Would still continue to return though.

We ate there tonight, Thurs 06.02.2020 and I was very pleased with my French onion soup and confit duck. The soup was a small portion but properly thick and beefy and the croute was well cheesed. Above all the little pot it was in was piping hot so the soup stayed hot all the way through. The confit duck was a very solid 9/10. Again a very hot plate ( I do love hot crockery..) and duck that tumbled from the bone with just the right amount of duck fat left on it - very little - with a good medley of leek, bean and bacon propping it up. No need for any side order, but carb lovers might want some potato to go with it. Well done to the kitchen staff who probably don't have a lot of latitude about what they cook, but what they did, they did very well. Thank you. We'll be back.

The winning formula is the reasonable set menu of two or three courses where there is always enough variety to choose from.
