Reviews of Crave Joint

I thought the prices were pretty good value and the presentation of the boxes were high quality. the red doner was very tasty. not a big fan of the chips but the strips were delish and the wings were tasty too. the smash burgers went down a treat however I think my honey mustard chicken burger was probably a bit undercooked. the place is spacious and there’s loads on the menu to choose from. I think i’d go back here

Hi guys!
So After hearing about this place from many friends and family we decided to try this place out, me and a few friends decided to finally visit crave joint.
I must say I was amazed with the quality Masha’Allah!
The portion was really good and the food was very flavorsome. I loved the smash burger!
I really liked how amazing it looked in the black CJ box. It was very Instagram and Snapchat worthy lol
Crave joint is situated on a famous busy road which is called brick lane.
Few pros- ✅
-Great service
-Nice packaging
-Quality food
-Great portion
(I couldn’t finish mine bearing in mind I went in Ramadhan lol)
Few cons-❌
-No seating
-Parking is free after 6.30pm
(as far I remember)
-finding a parking space can be a bit long
Guys, definitely give the place a try!
I would 100% revisit if I’m in the area.

Such great food I had after a long time. I don’t usually get takeouts as I like to cook at home but this food was above and beyond my standards. Everything was so nice and hot, even after a 30 minutes drive home. The flavours were good, fresh and different. They don’t usually do this specific box meal but the shop went out their way to do this for me. They have a variety of stuff to choose from. I highly recommend this place for anyone who likes gourmet food. Fantastic work! Will definitely be coming again soon.

If your in or around Shoreditch then I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed
We got their 2x mini crave box beef burger, 2x chicken wings, cheesy fries, and a can of drink, dip, packed really well in the BOX they are very generous with their portions and food was 10/10

The crave box well worth it forn£15, the box is very well presented, the donner is amazing, cheesy chips has immense flavour the house slaw is second to none.. Burger was amazing, the only downside is wait is kinda long even if ordered in advance, but I guess they are popular and who can blame them.. Amazing

I love the concept. A simple box with a smash burger, cheesy chips, red spicy doner, BBQ chicken strips, coleslaw and a slice of pizza. The quality of each of these is top. Only the pizza is a little hit and miss. If it's fresh it's amazing. The smash burger is excellent quality and worth getting on its own. Only downside is the area is a bit ratty but as you're only picking up, your time there is limited. Highly recommended.

A fantastic concept, everything you need in one box. Good quality burgers and the the red doner meat is just perfect.

I have to be honest here, everything that was served, and provided in these boxes, isn’t really a unique concept. There are a lot of contemporary food places being opened (by young entrepreneurs, which is a good thing) nowadays that, they all provide the same food. All with similar names, and offering grub like this. I.e grub spot, munch spot, munch box, munch plug, burger joint etc.
It’s all the same.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the pizza, although it was slightly stale, the doner was flavourful and the bbq chicken strips/ goujons were mediocre. The chips are different every day, one day you get curly fries and today I got straight fries. I don’t think the fries are in-house made, but could be wrong. Tasted like Iceland chips. The cheese on the chips, tasted ‘fake’, a good foodie will know what i mean by fake cheese. I like the idea of the dips being presented on the side, but remove one of the creamy sauces, and add a sweet option, for people that don’t like mayonnaise. 2/3 of the dips were mayo based. Finally, the burger. My burger, the onion smash, was unfortunately grey. My understanding, meat burgers should be brown. I have taken pictures and videos, and I am happy to send this over to management if needed. It was thick, and a big portion, you get a good amount for your money, but the flavour wasn’t there for me personally. The coleslaw was great.
Also, I would generally like to add, I think the logo, name, packaging and presentation is what sells more than the food itself. The food is too common, with all the young people opening the same restaurants everywhere. - although this is a take away.
Major con - they only take cash! Also you don’t really need to pre-order, they have food available on the day, on both occasions i went. Neither were preordered. I think this is just blasted on social media, as a way to drum up customers. But no, I wouldn’t say you need to preorder. There was also never any queues when i went twice. Both at peak times, 6-9pm.

Over priced boxes.. strips and wings were all frozen just dipped in sauce so not freshly made more like grocery store wings and Iceland chips melted in cheese... only their doner was freshly made... burger wasn’t too great too again just grocery shop items and the price of the boxes are over priced....

The food at this place is delicious. Very big portion that’s enough for 2 people. I like the variety of options that comes with the meal. I drive from north London to collect their food but it’s completely worth it.

I have to say this place is definitely a hidden gem. We ordered the crave box which came with a variety of different things that were ALL delicious. All of the food was packed into a nice box with utensils which made it easy to park up somewhere and eat (mess free!). The red doner was my favourite. We also tried all of their mojito drinks which were all really nice too. I highly recommend this place.

Everything in the box was 10/10 but the coleslaw stole the show!! Was the most creamiest one we’ve had so far and it went well with with everything in the box 🙌🏽

Absolutely banging food. £15 for a double cheeseburger, spicy red doner meat, chips with cheese sauce, the best bbq chicken strips I’ve ever had, a slice of pizza, coleslaw and three dips. All of it was brilliant and I’ll DEFINITELY be back again. There was a mix up (on my part) with one of the orders and the lads sorted better than I could have expected.

Overall great box with good options. Buttermilk chicken burger nice and juicy , chicken strips tender , Donner slightly on the spicy side, wings well cooked nice bite to it and flavour from dynamite sauce is nice also . FULL REVIEW @HALALFOORBROS on insta

Massive portions
Onion smash burger - on point
Wings - very saucy
Doner - HOT
Strips - chunky
Coleslaw - refreshing (after the doner)
The best out off all of it was the cheesy chips
Make sure you go with an empty stomach it is really filling, alot of food to eat.

Nice place, waiting times are long. For the price it's not really worth it but taste isn't bad. Would recommend trying it out.
