Update: Visited Recently on October 2021 and I will give it a 2 star now. Since my last review, I've been to this place many times and every time I've had bad experiences. The attitudes of staff is really poor and quality of the food has gone down. I used to think highly of this place but not anymore. Last time went with the family to celebrate my daughter's A level result and my son's GCSE result. It was a really bad experience, what was supposed to be a celebration turned out to be a disappointment. They didn't serve what was ordered and change the order because they didn't have what we ordered in stock. So they decided to serve us alternatives without asking us. When we highlighted this they just brushed it off and said the we should have and then walked away. I can't really go too much into this on this review but just will say, NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN

Got takeaway for my wife's 61st birthday, I'm 69 and we got married last year. She had chops of which there were 4 each and I had the salmon which had 2 generous portions. Food absolutely delicious. My salmon was best I have ever tasted and my wife was very happy with her chops. Nice salads and chips with both and also garlic dip and beautiful fresh flatbread. Ready very quick excellent service beautiful food and would highly recommend 👌 blessings brother John.

Bloody awesome food, super great customer service, delicious taste of all food. Cold beer, fantastic proper Turkish coffee. For the price of 2 bigmac meal and 2 other meal we're fullfull and took home more than half of the sharing dish. Chicken well cooked, tasty and not dry. Salads are crispy and fresh. Nice serves but it was a bit awkward to talk to them. However the food was really good! I was thinking to get Baklava and try the Turkey tea since I never tried the tea but turns out that the Baklava and the tea was both complementary! As if one was enough they give another. AMAZING!.. I dont think the Turkish tea is the one for me but I'm happy to have tried it :)

Sitting on the outer perimeter of the bustling Wood Green shopping mall the New Crystal Restaurant offers you good authentic Turkish cuisine at very reasonable able prices. On this particular occasion I had the Doner Kebab (not made from mince lamb as you might usually find butfrom layers of lamb steaks ) Accompanied by various side dishes including salad, bread, hummus. I also had a side of chips and a couple of soft drinks. This was more than enough for one person. After i was offerd tyrkish tea and a small piece of baklava to finish off the the meal. All this for around £17. Well worth it I thought and I will be visiting again next time I find myself in Wood Green, waiting around while my fiance and her mother and her sisters go off shopping.

Amazing food and service, but ONLY if you eat in. When you take out the will always mess it up. Today it was burned chips, before it was missing sauce or just not what you wanted. ALWAYS check your order when going for take away.

Iwe have been long loyal customers and the food is lovely and very tastey. However...although the eatin service is very good, the take away service seems to be going a bit downhill! They have taken our telephone orders which we have collected and paid for, only to get home and find that something is not right. The young man today was just rushing through our order and had packed it, only for us to get home and realise once again that part of our order was wrong. I rang them this time to inform them of their several mistakes and at first they was trying to pass the buck! I told them exactly who the order was aces with and that we are loyal customers, but at the same time, we want what we ordered as we do not live close enough to return to the shop. Only then did the manager change his tone and accepted that it was there mistake. Just get our orders right in the first place and stop changing your managememt.

The place is decorated very nicely and they have windows that open out onto the street so you may sit inside but have the freshness of outside. As we lived in woodgreen crystal is just like family. we moved now but still come here whenever we think about Turkish food. Yesterday we came and ordered food. As usual they gave us starter. But my toddler was so in bad mood. All their waitress try to make my baby happy even though they was so busy. They even moved our table next to fish tank. But he was so unsettled.then we decided to take takeway. The Bengali waitress and other gave it to us straight way. We been served by him before very well. And they even only charged the take way price. Am really happy to get that kindness of them. Much appreciate. Thanks for the hospitality. And as usual food is awesome. Much love and respect. Good food and good service for good prices (I was happy) however they are not Covid compliant. Staff not wearing masks (or wearing masks over their chins rather than mouth and nose) and I saw waiters shaking hands with their friends or customers. Not wearing gloves and not sanitising their hands regularly. The waiters brought the food but their hands were touching the bread. Come on guys there is covid19 I don't want my bread to be touched by your hands. This is just advice for the management. Thank you and we will come back again and hope you are covid-compliant by then.

I have to say the New Crystal restaurant in Wood Green does the most amazing grilled Sea bass. My husband and I live in Kent although we have travelled on a number of occasions all the way to North London just to enjoy some good Turkish food. This restaurant has good quality food , although there could be a few changes . When I had visted the new crystal my father's order had been forgotton and we had to hassle the waitresses' to trace the order. You would expect your order to come on time in a well known place. Also , the bread starter we had received tasted slightly dry and stale as if it was leftover. I had ordered a large lamb shish and the portion size looked as if it was for a child . Overall this restaurant is ok !!!

The prices are really good for the quality and quantity you get in here, plus they always give you some starters on the house.Best koftas ever, good service, always full but doesn’t take long to have a table. Conscious decision to move Turkish cravings from Capitol to Crystal based a lot on service. Capitol food is good but the service is horrendous. We ate there 5 times and every time they got the order wrong. Crystal has better food, excellent service, more open space and Kunefe to die for. So...if you are walking down the road for a Turkish delight, Crystal will give you more for your money and peace of mind and stomach.

Whenever I'm in wood green i make sure i eat at crystal because the food there is exquisite, affordable and the portion sizes are huge. They also give hummus as part of thier delicious starters.
