Reviews of Darwin Brasserie
R. C.
Wow, what can I say. Came here for a birthday meal and was suitably impressed from start to finish. I found it amusing that I had visited here in the video-game Watch Dogs Legion and recognized everything from that (it was my first time here in the flesh).
Great ambience here with the plants, airy room, large staircase and with those large distinctive glass windows a prominent feature. DJ playing nice beats downstairs, with the Darwin restaurant itself trendy and buzzing with guests. Not the place to sit for a quiet meal though as it's very busy as you would expect. The food and staff were fantastic (especially my desert) and my family and I had a great experience here.
The views from (the walkie talkie building) are amazing, especially at night. I would certainly come here again and highly recommend it.
A. V.
We've booked ourselves lunch at Darwin Brasserie. The staff is great and friendly. Food is amazing, view is spectacular. Space is super child friendly. I was with my 1 year old daughter and everybody adored her.
Only thing it was too hot there.
陳.
decent food at a premium price
it was quite busy when we visited and they mentioned they were short staffed which made it quite difficult to get the waiters attention when needed. Our server was lovely though and was quick to act on our requests.
The food was good but didn’t really have the wow factor some reviews mention. My favourite part was the sweet potato soup!
The person who had the burger said that it was quite tough and not juicy at all though
The cocktails were average £14 each but the taste was pretty good: you could actually taste the alcohol unlike at some bars where they taste like juice
Overall, it was worth the experience to dine with such an amazing view around you but it’s unlikely that I would find myself wanting to return for the food
A. P.
Came for the view, stayed for the food. Lovely overall experience being on top of London. Came for a work team afternoon and it was buzzy and fun. Some of the meals were a bit on the greasy side but overall lots of flavour and decent cocktails. Only downside was being asked to leave after 2 hours but that's quite standard for touristy restaurants.
G. P.
Came here for a special meal and it didn't disappoint. The food and cocktails were delicious and waiting staff were very attentive. The views over London are fantastic, would have been lovely to have a table at the window rather than in the middle.
Only negative is it was quite crowded and therefore noisy but it was a Saturday evening at peak dinner time so that's to be expected.

Everything was amazing. The service we received from staff was amazing - compliments to the waiter with the name beginning with M with the square glasses and long hair, sorry can’t remember the name. He checked if we were okay and if the food was good. And it was absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection. And let’s talk about the views - fantastic. Amazing view of the shard and the city.
A. K.
Amazing food and flawless service for premium price. We came for a Saturday brunch, we had to wait around 5 minutes to get seated which is totally okay. The view is breathtaking from the rooftop, also the dishes. Everything was very delicious, the steak tartare and the chocolate dessert were especially tasty. Also the waiters did a 5 star job.
k. r.
Obviously the place itself is just in great location. Food delicious. Very friendly staff. Toilet idea worth to follow - little "private" toilets. One star less because of toilets could be more clean and we were waiting for starter nearly an hour
P. C.
Lovely restaurant, we booked in for a late dinner and had amazing views of London. The food was good and reasonably priced (burger). Lovely wait staff. Had a walk around the sky gardens afterwards and had views of London all around the room. Cozy seating areas with blankets.
C. L.
Positives - Location is good and £60 for three courses and glass of champagne is a good deal.
Negatives - The brasserie is very loud , so don’t go here if you want to have conversation at the table. Our waiter was a bit rude and condescending, asking us if we were sure we ‘knew what steak tartare was’ when we ordered it… it was also hard to get their attention, as other reviews mention. Food was also very salty, we were parched the entire rest of the day!
I’d recommend the sky garden and the bar then dinner elsewhere
U. K.
Very good and delicious food, just a bit expensive. Otherwise it's a nice experience to dine on top of one of the skyscrapers in London. Definitely recommend going there a bit before the sundown. On their website it's very nice to organise your visit and also info about when the sundown is.
C. C.
This was our first visit to the Sky Garden and we chose to have brunch at the Darwin Brasserie. Food was of high quality and well cooked and the staff were very attentive. A great experience!
F. G.
Ofcourse a beautiful place, with great service and food. John served us with great pleasure. Also, we had //Roast Chicken Supreme //Roast pumpkin with crispy sage // And some delicious dessert.
It's a place to celebrate, to restart, while relishing the qaulity food. Ofcourse a must when you're feeling like you gotta step up. ;)

Me and my partner went to visit the Sky Garden and then we stop at Darwin Brasserie at 36th floor for our late lunch. The menu is reduced to 6 starters, 6 mains and 6 desserts BUT all of them worth at least a try! The tartare was amazing and also the drinks were specials and well presented. Hamburgers delicious and very juicy. Also we had a special consideration with our special event - they offered an extra dessert with “Congratulations” on top!
C. A.
Pretty average I have to be honest. The sweet potato fries were extremely salty. So average I don't really have much else to say. Definitely overpriced. The chickpea burger was completely forgettable. The burger was nice my partner tells me, but nothing to write home about.
j. b.
Almost like airport security getting into this place! Lift takes you to viewing area on 35th floor and then you walk round and up stairs to restaurant. Really busy when we came at 5pm but had booked so seated quickly with great view over viewing area and city. Nibbles of bread and olives, then mains of vegan cottage pie and boeuf bourginon which were really good. Shared a creme brulee too 😳 glass of red wine and a pint brought cost to around £70.

Exceptional views and customer service. Delicious high quality food. Sea bream was lovely and cooked well crispy on skin soft fish inside. Very flavoured. The truffle fries were also absolutely great we were so full we couldn’t get desserts. Burger was also great. Great to know all meats are also halal. Martina our waitress was also really helpful and provided great service. Would go again and highly recommend.

We had such an amazing meal here, the best I've ever had! We had the weekend brunch three course menu. The food was so incredible, all presented beautifully and tasted amazing.
Luckily we got a front-facing window seat with views of the shard. It was so lovely to have a beautiful meal and just take in the view and watch everyone enjoy the sky garden below.
For London, the views and quality of the food, I think the prices are really reasonable.
It felt so special and I can't wait to come again one day!

Delicious food, excellent view and great service. Will definitely visit again

Ignore all the poor reviews. This place is unique and a great experience with the best Caesar salad I have ever had. I was treated to a window view which was amazing. Lovely staff. Totally recommend. Book a table and enjoy a fab meal for a few quid more and without the 30min wait for drinks in the sky bar ( I watched it from my vantage point and felt all smug. 😀)
M. M.
What a lovely place to enjoy a great view of London at night. Delicious food & friendly staff, very pleased. The drinks were quite expensive though!
L. A.
Myself and my partner went to the Darwin for lunch, celebrating our anniversary. The service was fantastic, Joy looked after us so well and even served us with a special anniversary dessert which was really appreciated. The views from the restaurant speak for themselves, we would definitely return.
F. G.

Best view in London. Better than the Shard, strangely. Honest food, nothing fancy, very tasty. Reasonably priced. Excellent service too! Will definitely go again.
I. C.
Had a lovely experience at Darwin Brasserie. Starters were so so so tasty, the seconds not as much as the starters but that was just down to me not enjoying some of the stronger flavours on one of the plates. Incredible views over London! Pleasant staff.
A. S. C.
Really nice food and service, I can also say that eating in one of the trendiest places in London it is not as expensive as you can imagine. Definitely a good experience.
M. S.
Warm and professional service. Food was good not quite the wow factor it was presented as. Lovely setting with views of London, staff went out of there way to book us good seats and free brownies with messages to mark special occasions we were celebrating. Overall a memorable and pleasant experience, very glad I went but won't be rushing back any time soon.
V. Y.
Had a lovely Sunday Breakfast at Darwin Brasserie. It is at the top of the walkie talkie so you get the best view in the house if you’re lucky enough to be placed next to a wall height window.
The pancakes we tried were absolutely delicious and their portions were good! We had the bacon and maple syrup pancakes and the wild berry pancakes. Both are exceptional.
f. m.
Darwin Brasserie is a perfect place when you think about a romantic date or something different. A beautiful place with a stunning view, very beautiful decor and nice ambience. Professional staff with professional service. Prices are high so definitely not a place where you’ll go everyday, but once in a while deserves the effort. Highly recommend to try this place where the food is excellent looking with a great taste.
M. S.
So romantic and so yummy -
perfect place for a date, well mine was a surprise date so even better!
I had a crunchy outside but moist inside chicken breast with sweet crispy parsnip - done to perfection.
The creme brûlée was amazing….And the most tasty truffle fries.
The only one tiny downside of this place - very, very loud.
S. T.
Darwin Brasserie is really loud/noisy. We could barely hear ourselves.
We took 4 brunch menus and 2 children menu.
Starters were great.
Mains were okay. The walnut burger was too salty. The sea beam was also too salty.
The desserts were okay.
Black Forest was far from being a black Forest. It was a very dense chocolate mousse cake with cherry liqueur. Too sweet.
The sticky toffee pudding was dry (probably pre-cut).
The creme brulee was also too sweet.
Children menu : we took garlic bread and fish fingers. The children enjoyed it. It comes with a glass of juice.
Will we go back ? No. You can probably eat better elsewhere for a 45£ menu per person.
P. P.
Darwin Brassiere is found inside Sky Garden on the “36th” floor.
It’s loud and frantic and smaller than I thought but clearly very popular as there was a constant flow of people being seated, eating, paying their bill, waiting to be seated.
Food: overall very good.
I’ve taken pictures of the food that I ate that day, from delicious hazelnut dukka that was a perfect accompaniment to the burrata, through to the perfectly cooked sea trout and rounding off the meal with the zingy, zesty posset.
Ambience: a tad too hectic for my Sunday and I know it was exacerbated by the size of the venue. It seemed to contain all the chatter and noise.
Value: We selected the 3 course and a glass of bubbles for £55 option. I would probably select another venue if I was going to spend a long lazy, Sunday with friends.
S.
We went to the Darwin Brasserie at the Sky Garden yesterday for my partners birthday. It was amazing! Staff (Jon) was friendly and the food was top notch! Thankyou for making our first visit so memorable and we now have memories to enjoy. See you again!... 5*
R. H.
Superb friendly service, excellent food with good size portions and spectacular views over London.
G. S.
We had an amazing time from start to finish! The woman that I assume was the general manager, heard of my lactose intolerance and was so attentive the WHOLE time, it made the experience that much better. Our waitress was funny, and checked on us frequently, and the food had us singing it's praises the entire time.
s. s.
Darwin's was chosen for a special occasion (husband's birthday).
I was a bit disappointed that he didn't get anything to mark this event. They actually wished me happy birthday upstairs, although downstairs they said Happy Birthday to my husband.
Our main course was served before anyone had taken our starter plates, which I was very surprised at.
We weren't offered any coffee at the end of the meal even though we were early and not over running on the table.
We spent £265 and had a lovely meal, but those extra touches would have made all the difference. The sea bream was particularly delicious. We would not have the Eton Mess again, too much mousse and jelly and not enough meringue or cream. Don't mess with something that's pretty perfect 😏
Lovely views of course, and a nice day out.
S. M.
Oh wow what amazing views and amazing food!!! Fantastic experience. The tickets to get up are FREE so you can spend it on food and drink perfect way to spend an afternoon 🙏😃👏
S. B.
The food is delicious and the servers very attentive. The view of London tower and the larger city might only be topped by the view from atop the Shard (by London Station). It's a bit pricey but you're paying for the atmosphere and the view. Definitely worth a trip.
R. P.
It's all about the atmosphere! Not too mention, some wonderful food, very good wine and service with a pleasant smile.
The location is iconic, to say the least. Getting in and reaching the 35th floor was quick and hassle free. The Sky Garden bar is good. The Brasserie on the 36th even better. The views from all sides as to the fun.
Can't comment on car parking etc. Not sure there is any. We walked from our hotel anyway.
For a relaxed drink and/ or meal in a lovely environment in London, highly recommended.
£££ but surely, no one should be surprised or upset. You pay for the locale, the views and the atmosphere. Well worth it.
E. B.
I don’t have a bad thing to say about this place! The staff, the food, the drinks and the view was just amazing! i would 100% recommend dinner here
We arrived early for our meal so was told to have a wonder around the garden. We were able to admire the views and have a nice look around.
The food service was super quick and the staff were so lovely! We had Leah serving us and she was great. Food came quick and it was lovely
Overall would definitely recommend. would 100% come again
E. K.
Everything was tasty and well presented. Service was excellent, our greek host for the night was knowledgeable and helpful in all our requests. We were even offered a complimentary brownie for our special celebration day. Taking into account the amazing views, our whole experience was remarkable.
C. T.
Delicious food, excellent view and great service. Will definitely visit again
C. C.
Stunning view whilst eating and our server was fantastic.
Unfortunately took 30 minutes to take our drinks order, another 10 minutes to receive our drinks.
Food was of the standard of what I would expect in a standard chain restaurant.
Restaurant pushes 3 course menu to gain more revenue and compulsory service charge which is disappointing.
Verdict - Visit the sky garden for free and eat elsewhere.
L. A.
Myself and my partner went to the Darwin for lunch, celebrating our anniversary. The service was fantastic, Joy looked after us so well and even served us with a special anniversary dessert which was really appreciated. The views from the restaurant speak for themselves, we would definitely return.
N. S.
Staff were Fiendly and helpful. Food was lovely. Quite busy this lunch time. Great views
E. C.
The Darwin Brasserie is definitely worth a visit if you are in London and would like somewhere a bit special to eat out. However it is pricey and the portions are on the small side. Be prepared, if you have hungry teenagers, that they might not be satisfied. The food is delicious, the venue is an elegant place to visit and the staff were very attentive.
D. H.
Very nice views from three aspects, service was very efficient, some meals a little over priced but expected at such a venue.
We were looked after well the food was fine, drinks options were very good and well presented by the bar staff.
We sat at the bar first before going to the table and had a very pleasent evening
T. B.
The best aspect of this restaurant is the views, which are beautiful. So high up that it makes the surrounding buildings look almost flat.
The food is good (but not outstanding for the price), the service is just OK, but what you will probably remember most is those views.
L. C.
Greta place to celebrate a birthday!! I emailed to ask for a table with a view and they gave us the best table. Food was great - we ordered the burger and the aubergine 👌
After dinner we walked around the sky garden, amazing vibes with live music!!!
P. K.
Lovely restaurant to go to for any occasion, I went for my friends birthday and they even done a mini happy birthday plate which was a nice touch
D. J.
Fabulous widoe table with amazing views, food 1st class, service exvellent
T. G.
We enjoyed this restaurant along with the overall Sky Garden experience. We arrived about 45 mins early to see the views . The service and food were excellent. I had the Chickpea, beet root, walnut veggie burger and truffle fries which was excellent. We also tried the pork, trout and sea bass. All good. Their sticky toffee pudding was also great
J. B. a. j.
Great food and really good value for money. £45 for 3 courses.... 😊 Will defo go back... Staff super friendly
F. S.
Food was an 8/10, service a 7/10.
Didnt realise it was a 3 course prix fix.
Nice to have been, doubt we'd return
G. S.
Absolutely amazing. Go as a couple and get a seat where we did. By tbe window in the corner.
M. M.
Really cool Brasserie in Sky Garden, nice and relaxed atmosphere and some really good food including views over London.
We ordered the set menu that comes with 3 courses and a glass of champagne each. My girlfriend had the roast and I opted for the burger. Starters and desserts were also good and a fantastic service we never felt like we had to ask for anything.
S. S.
Delicious food and excellent service. Made to feel relaxed and comfortable. Views are amazing and well worth the trip. Would definitely go again!
C. D.
Great views, great food, delicious cocktails,40 minute wait for food after ordering, think he forgot as he came back and checked what we ordered 😬🤔😤🙂
R. A.
Love the food! Service was outstanding! very polite, friendly and helpful staff and made the perfect recommendations and she was 100% correct the sticky toffee pudding was exactly what she said it was and one of the best dessert we have had in a long time.
j. d. v.
Had valentines dinner here, the atmosphere is great there was not a lot of space to move between the tables as I think they were trying to sit the maximum number of people.
The waiter that was allocated to us was not great, but another waiter Telmo that was serving the tables next to us had a great way of interacting with the tables that he was serving and when we called him to serve us he was great.
If I was to open a restaurant I would like all my waiters to be like him he made up for the poor service that we were receiving up to that point.
G. “.
Had a beautiful night at the Darwin Brasserie. The setting is a little intimate and perfect for a date night and also big enough to just seat a group on a party night out. The staff are very helpful and tend to your every need which is a very nice touch. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean and the surroundings are ...lets just say..breathtaking depending on where you are seated. The food is delicious and reasonably priced and there is a fine selection of wines and spirits but sadly only 1 beer to choose . But overall I would highly recommend this restaurant. 👌
K. K.
I took my boyfriend to Darwin Brasserie for his birthday and it was a great choice. The food was delicious and well presented. Amazing view and excellent service by Flora who was very attentive throughout our visit. We will definitely return.
M. M. C.
After a recent visit, this being our second, we returned as we enjoyed the first, but unfortunately cannot say the same for this visit. The food was below par, one course we sent back as was not cooked correctly, and the others were below standard, especially for what you pay and considering the environment. Cocktails we're hard to describe. Don't worth the price and presentation. All I can say is that it was just okay.
Although will not return to eat, I would for the views from the garden.
H. B.
Had a wonderful breakfast here for my 30th birthday. The staff are lovely and food is great. We were shocked how quick they brought food especially as it was quite busy. Getting to spend time looking around the gardens and taking in the views after was fantastic too.
M. M.
What a lovely place to enjoy a great view of London at night. Delicious food & friendly staff, very pleased. The drinks were quite expensive though!
D. D.
Service was incredible, I'm sure the staff have been trained to compliment its guests, they we've very kind and friendly. The food and drinks were worth every penny, and the views of London are amazing. I'd definitely return and recommend to anybody thinking if visiting.
E. W.
Amazing views, lovely food and friendly staff
P. C.
The 2 out of 3 toilets I used did not flush at all well. One was a thimble full the other a cup full. Very disappointing considering it's such a fabulous place. 5 stars if not for that.
V.
Fantastic food, got the weekend brunch 3 course meal. It was very filling, portions were generous in my opinion and the selections were very good, ( although not sure about the vegan options). Friendly staff and overall an enjoyable experience.
I. B.
Food was fantastic loved the cocktails and a cracking pint for £6-50 not bad for London at all
Y. Y.
Visited before pandemic. Very nice atmosphere! Everything was cooked to a very high standard and presentation was amazing. Hope to visit again once the Covid restriction has been lifted!
C. K.
Absolute delight. Food was amazing. Service was outstanding. Views beautiful. A must visit
J. J.
The venue was amazing and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really good. The staff are very professional. The prices are on the upper side however I felt that the food was a bit of a let down. The veggie burger was really dry and was one of the worst I’ve tried.
B. D.
Stunning view of London. Restaurant had amazing service & food! Would recommend heading to the front of the line when you arrive and telling them what restaurant and time your meal reservation is for as there are two separate lines for just the view or for the restaurant. The staff will direct you to the correct area. It took us about 15 minutes to get through the security checks of the building before getting into the lift, would recommend arriving early to take that into account.
J. R. W.
Upscale dining with fantastic views! Serves mostly traditional English food. Pricey! Service at brunch time was great, but a bit chaotic at times. Remember to reserve a table before you go, or you won't be let in through the airport style security check.
C. S.
Celebrated our anniversary there. Service was warm and hospitable, nothing to fault at all. They gave us a nice seat by the window looking out into the views. Great ambience. Cocktails were pretty good but pricey. Food, although not amazing for the price, was tasty Enough and presented well. Overall a great experience.
G. G.
Great views from 37 floors up. Food good but a tad pricey but what you'd expect from a restaurant of this type. Service good.
L. M. C.
Food is reasonably price for central London. Deliciously fresh and the best views ever!!! Highly recommend, they even brought out a free dessert for my sounds 21st, was a thoughtful act. Thank you Darwin Brasserie.
I. T.
The view is amazing, especially if you sit by the window. I had a reservation for breakfast and was very busy so don't except for a great service. We had to wait for our hot food more than 30 minutes and we haven't actually been told that if you choose to have also a continental breakfast, the hot food will come only later - like 30 to 40 minutes later. Also, when the food arrived was almost cold. The food was good, the place looks really nice - too noisy I would say.
I would recommend going there for a coffee maybe.
s. a.
Lovely staff, Fantastic view, delicious food aaand pricey!
D. D.
Amazing evening once again. Visited on the 21st of February for my cousins birthday - our waiter Joy is a credit to your team! The manager Erset will go above and beyond to make the evening special - just amazing! Thankyou so much from me and my family we will be back again and again!
J. “. W. H.
Excellent food. Not too expensive for central London. Very friendly staff but remember you have to book in advance if you are going to the Darwin Restaurant free tickets all available for the bar that you can see down below again have to be booked you can turn up on the day but you're more than likely get turned away as it is already fully booked so booking is recommended for anyone who wishes to go., Also some excellent views and photo opportunities throughout the building.
B. S.
Excellent food and friendly staff who accommodated for us arriving slightly early. All 3 courses were great and the view was spectacular as we were fortunate enough to be given a table by the window. Prices were what you'd expect.
S. B.
I went to the Darwin Brasserie on Thursday for breakfast. After going through security and the long ride up in the lifts we arrived. The restaurant is nicely decorated and my expectations for the "experience" were high until I was given a wooden stick to stir my tea, I asked for a teaspoon and was told they didn't have any teaspoons. The buffet was underwhelming (not much choice), the mains were okay tasting but the portions were small leaving much of the plate bare. Also I didn't understand the purpose of putting half a raw tomato on the plate, it wasn't even cut decoratively. I was utterly disappointed to see the bar staff picking at the buffet and eating from it while working. The only plus side was the view from our table. All in all I expected so much more and was disappointed with the overall dining experience. The "gardens" outside the restaurant weren't as extensive as I expected but the views of London were spectacular.
I shared my experience with a friend and she immediately cancelled her booking at the Darwin Brasserie. It's best to visit the Sky Gardens for the views and not the food or the "gardens".
R. G.
Had a really great time. The food was delicious and the price was what you would expect for the location.
A special mention to our waiter -Malachi- who was an absolute gentleman throughout our dinner and experience at the Darwin Brasserie. He was courteous, attentive, available, agreeable, it is rare to see a waiter who does his job like a craft.
J. B.
Amazing food. Took a 3 course menu with salmon starter, salmon steak and a beef steak! The cocktails were amazing and all the tastes mix very well. The view is unique and the atmosphere is extraordinary. Service was very personal and even prepared a birthday dessert for my girlfriend. Amazing fine dining experience.
S. O. t.
Good food, great location and skip the queue for the lift up.
Not all seats have a view, I'd ask for the corners for the full panoramic experience.
B. j.
This place is simply incredible. The food was top quality, delicious fish, beautiful scenery and the best service you could ever ask for! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! It is the perfect place for a very romantic date 🌹
V. W.
Great location with impeccable view for special occasions. Appointment not needed for the Sky Garden if eating here so make sure you arrive 30-40 Mon early to enjoy the vista. We had a Sunday brunch and for 1.5 hours and there were at least 5 people celebrating birthdays! For brunch is all set menu, £39.9 not including drink or service. Birthday boy/girl gets a free birthday cake essentially the same as caramel chocolate cake except for the ice cream. my confit duck is pretty amazing, better than any one I had even in Paris. Love the pouch egg and the cream. Both dessert are tasty as well. My companion says the burger is a little dry though. Deco, environment and staff is great. Just the dishses don't come out very quickly.
C. M.
Absolutely gorgeous place and even more gorgeous views! Extremely professional staff and they went out of their way to accommodate a table with a view when we didn't have one assigned originally! We asked and they accommodated! Loved the experiences all the way!
P. s.
The views are very good. Probably one of the best in London. The bar is good for drinks. The food though probably isn’t as good as it can be. You are paying more for the view here.

Excellent food and wine for a special occasion meal.We were lucky enough to get a window seat with great views of Tower Bridge etc. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive.
A. B.
The staff were outstanding. We had amazing attention from our server who kept an eye on our drink levels all evening. The vegetable cottage pie was absolutely delicious! Everything cooked perfectly. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails, they were lovely though maybe not worth the price in my opinion (£13 for the whiskey) But you are paying for an incredible view over London! We will be back (with more money next time)
Y. A.
The location is very good and the food is delicious
L. B.
Came here after looking at the wonderful views from the sky garden balcony and i must say the restaurant did not dissapoint. Got seated right next to the window with a beautiful view by staff who was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The steak was also excellent
M. M.
Really picturesque views of London and the Sky Garden from all tables at the brasserie.
Nice continental menu with several dishes with Asian influences as well.
It is more expensive than other places but delicious.
We had the duck confit which had oriental spicing and the chicken Caesar salad was large and full of quality ingredients.
Very lovely fayre with good views.
A. H.
Decent quality food and busy atmosphere. Definitely pricey but perfect for special occasions. Nice views of London too. Starter and mains were very good. My dessert, a cheesecake, was a bit average. But would go again.
J.
The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I would say you would need the window view to justify the prices as otherwise it feels like an everyday restaurant. Thankfully the manager of the place was very helpful and offered us a window seat 5 minutes after we requested for one. All in all very happy with the experience.

My mum was visiting for a few days and she wanted to visit the Sky Garden to take in the views. Whilst there, we had an early dinner at Darwin Brasserie. The service, food and views were all fantastic. The restaurant has a low ceiling and isn't partitioned, so even at half capacity 5-6pm, it was quite noisy similar to a rowdy pub vibe. We enjoyed our food quickly then moved on. Also coats hung on seat backs picked up dust and dirt from the floor, which was a bit of a disappointment.

Came here for my boyfriends birthday, and was hugely disappointed. Firstly, we saw on the website that the dress code was smart casual so we dressed as so. When we got there we were hugely disappointed, it was so so busy and so over crowded, you were sat so close to each other, people were in the restaurant in hoodies and trainers and the atmosphere was completely the opposite of what we were looking for. Not intimate or upper class as you would expect. As for the views, you can’t see anything unless you’re sat against the glass, and even then it’s a stretch.
The food I opted for was lovely, however it wasn’t worth the price. My boyfriends on the other hand was so chewy and fatty, he was still eating even when I finished. It was a shame because I enjoyed my food and the cocktails were delicious!
The staff were the best thing, they were extremely attentive and professional, yet friendly at the same time.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend going here to friends or family and I wouldn’t return again, which is a shame. Definite tourist trap.
L. O.
Great views. Terrible acoustics: it’s very difficult to hear each other speak. Service was friendly. However, my chair at our pre-booked table was dirty upon arrival. Service was also is a bit slow, especially clearing empty plates. The food is nice, but portions are rather small. Quite expensive. While small-ish, some of the cocktails were excellent though.
R. C.
Went for the buffet. The states and desserts were amazing but the mains were a real let down. I had the roast dinner and the beef was so tough and grizzly it was inedible. Others at my table also found their meal poorly cooked or of bad quality. It's rather unsightly but I have attached a photo of my beef. When you pay £50 plus tip for brunch you expect a bit better than what we were given. Also they only offered virgin Mary's I think a few fruit juices wouldn't go amiss.
N. J.
No doubt it's a wonderful to eat, but in all honesty the service was quite sketchy. I think wehen you're spending £300 on lunch for 4 in a top london restaurant you expect good service. Sadly it was sloppy. Brought out mains whilst i was still eatinging starter, didn't clear plates and glasses away. Didn't check if food was ok. Didn't offer up desserts, missed a dish and didn't ask about coffee's etc....we had to ask for everything! I just wasn't great service and needs tightening up.
V. S.
You go here for the view! On the 36 the floor this restaurant offers a panoramic view of London with clear views of Canary Wharf, London Bridge, Waterloo, st Paul's...etc.
The menu is simple and changes often based on the season. The service is quick and food is alright. The best time to go is in the evening around sunset for the best view.
You will need reservations for here and will have to go through a airport style security check on the ground floor. There is usually a line to go up to to the sky gardens, do not wait in this line, just walk up to the reception and tell them you have a reservation.
G. F.
Beautiful reastaurant with stunning views.food is divine and well presented and there's a good choice of drinks. A bit pricey (my wife and I spent about £100 on two mains, one side and 5 drinks) but we had a really magical time there. You need to make a reservation before you go
J. L.
We went here for a birthday celebration in July 2021 and the top line is that it was disappointing. Our entry process was relatively easy (compared to some other Sky Garden reviewers) and the view is outstanding when you make it up to the Sky Garden level. The gardens themselves are impressive. The brasserie though was not as great. The food was mediocre and the view from the restaurant is poor unless you are in the front. We were initially placed at the back, by the loos, but we asked to move and managed to inch our way a bit closer to the view. The staff were kind but not very attentive and, although we had booked this as a birthday celebration, the staff didn’t bring the little birthday cake we’d ordered. Finally (and I know this is a bit picky, but...), the displays of hanging plants in the restaurant are all plastic, which felt a bit sad compared to all the lovely plants in the main gardens.
S. G.
Popular date and business restaurant.
Service was excellent all round however the food was too simple.
Cocktail menu had lots of options so I recommend visiting more for drinks and a light meal than a dining experience.
The ‘sky garden’ is truly unique with stunning views day/night. 🏙
N. T.
Excellent service and quite quick even for busy times!, Staff are the most friendly I have experienced anywhere in London!
The food is wonderful!
I would recommend the grilled chicken and ceasar salad and cranberry juice.
J. T.
One of if not the best restaurant meals and view i have ever had.
G. M. M.
I’ve been twice for breakfast already and will be back many times! Highly recommended!!! Nice to make someone a surprise! Lovely food, fresh muffins, croissants, variety of cereals, amazing yogurt! All this with this amazing view. All staff were lovely and welcoming!
T. M.
Brilliant setting, brilliant food, a tad pricey, but well worth it for the experience!
Big security going up to the top with X-rays to check you in, but it was straightforward enough.
Some of the best views of London from the sky garden, would go back!
A. A. I.
I have been there 2 times, both were for breakfast; The first time, during summer, it was extremely busy, all the tables were full, a lot of noise, and unfortunately the breakfast (eggs royale) was below the average... Second time I went there it was not that busy, the service was perfect, and the breakfast (eggs royale), was perfect! Even my colleagues found it really good! The size was good, the presentation was perfect, the eggs were perfect.
To summarize, during busy periods, I would suggest to be avoided.
M. K.
Excellent restaurant in a stunning setting. Eating superb food 36 floors up, with views across the city and the Thames takes some beating. Not the cheapest meal I've had, but definitely one of the most memorable - worth it.
L. P.
Perfect. A birthday treat. Food fantastic, wonderful views.
L. F.
A great evening for my family of x5. Telmo that served us for the meal was great. He was very polite and a pleasure to have him serve us - top man TY. Food was good and the view on the lovely clear evening was fabulous. I recommend the Walkie Talke / Darwin Brasserie for the experience
R. K.
The food is decent but nothing special. The views are what you really wanna go for. Would recommend going for brunch so you can get the meal-with-a-view experience without splurging on dinner.
j. F.
Only there for drinks, but it was excellent.
K. D.
Insider Tip: No need to buy a ticket to the Sky Garden when you make a reservation! Plan ahead and you can also catch an amazing sunset!
Our reservations allowed us to cut the line and zip right to the top where we were quickly seated for our meal. Brunch is an all day affair with a three-course price fixe menu which will set you back 39 pounds per person, a bit pricey but you are paying for the view.
Note, the menu changes seasonally!
T. V.
Good place to grab lunch whilst visiting the garden - warmer and quieter than the open bar area on the main floor. Reasonably priced - I had a pumpkin soup which was delicious (well-seasoned, naturally sweet and came with a long bread sliced topped with a thick slice of brie then slightly torched). The ambience was cosy and and luxurious-looking. I was seated at a middle table as all the window tables were occupied. But 5-10 mins later when some guests left, a nice waitress kindly offered to move me to a window table for better view - very considerate which I always look for at a mid to upper-range restaurants.
Pros - Nice ambience, good food, reasonable price, speedy service.
Cons - due to the shape of the building, the view is not very panoramic (it kinda looks down to the river) compared to the Shard. But still ok.
Overall - WORTH A VISIT.
D. G.
If you are expecting a fine dinning experience or a well trained staff don't come here.
A low end neigherhood pub will have less noise less drunk people and definitly better trained staff.
No one came to ask how good were the dishes, napkins were not brought out.
They did not have a toothpick in the entire restaurant.
Don't under any circumstances order the entry dish soup - uneatable.
Our reservation said that the table is until 22:30, apparently at 22:00 the kitchen closed but the waiters did not inform us of if.
*plating and presentation was very nice
Summary, great views, mostly nice food, poorly trained staff and unbearable levels of noice - nice as a one time novelty but we will not come back here.
C. S.
Went there for breakfast and wow! Amazing food, wonderful staff, and fantastic scenery. Bonus is that once you’ve finished eating you can take a stroll around the terrace and garden at no additional charge. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in London.
F. A.
Amazing 36th floor restaurant with panoramic view over the City of London.
Staff is very friendly and food really nice.
Don’t be surprise with final bill. 12,5% service charge included in the bill. However we pay for nice food, good service and good experience.
Definitely I will return.
N. I.
Absolutely breathtaking views over looking the London skyline! We booked breakfast at Darwin Brasserie and came half an hour before the allocated time so we could take photos and look around the gorgeous rooftop garden and public terrace. The windows state specific landmarks that can be seen. The service and food was perfect. I would definately come again.
T. A.
Great food, exotic drinks, amazing staff and a breathtaking view while you dine....it is just spectacular. One floor down you can enjoy some nice music, lounge area and bar. There is also a coat storage area.
B. N.
The food was average overall. The presentation was nice, but there are signs that the kitchen prioritizes quantity over quality - for example, the grossly overcooked potatoes which come along with the roast, or the ribeye, which was clearly precooked to temperature and then "seared" just before serving. (I put seared in quotes because the browning present on the outside of the steak contributed nothing to the overall flavour.) Like many places, the starters were more interesting than the mains, and if I accidentally visited again I'd just get two starters as my main dish. Dessert was fine but forgettable. Side dishes are scandalously expensive. Upcharge for the ribeye is not justified by the taste of the dish.
The service was disappointingly poor. We were seated promptly, but the wait staff seemed a bit distant at times. We indicated in our booking that we wanted the champagne brunch, but this did not get communicated to the staff on the day. Our first server disappeared after finally putting in our drink orders (30 minutes after arrival), and after a further 20 minutes I had to flag down a different server to fetch the (now warm) coupes from the bar, where they had been sitting for 15 minutes. We finally received our "welcome" drinks about 5 minutes before they served the main course. The most puzzling thing is that we had a baby, so you think they'd want to turn the table over as fast as possible, but service was lackadaisical. Truly bizarre.
Overall, a mixed experience. There is no reason to return.
K. S.
Better make reservation first and ask to be seated by the window side. Great view good food. Brunch is 3 courses with good varieties to choose from. Reservation with Darwin helps to skip the long line up to Sky Garden.
D. S.
Great quality delicious food and drinks. Really attentive and friendly staff, felt very well looked after by our lovely waiter.
Only disappointment was how much sound echoed within the restaurant, not that anything can be done about that now, it made the restaurant extremely noisy and canteen-esq.
F. M. (.
Stunning views of London, we were sat in the corner so we could see both ends of the river, Chelsea bridge to Vauxhall. Food was delicious, I'd recommend the garlic, Portobello mushrooms for starters! Made all the more memorable looking out over London as you consume with your eyes and mouth, a sensory explosion. Perfect place for a romantic meal, our meal came to a total of £150, included 2 starters, 3 mains and 2 sides, it was well worth it.
t.
Booked a birthday meal at the Darwin’s Brasserie, wonderful views and a wonderful setting. The food was superb. I had the vegan option and will definitely be going back. Staff were friendly, professional and very welcoming. A must if you’re visiting London but book early!
D. D.
Great view of London from the 35th floor from the Sky Garden an it's free to go up. The Brasserie is a bit expensive but when you think you don't have to pay like the Shard, it work out quite well. You have to book online! If you like this review, can you please click the like symbol below. Thank you!
C. C.
A great affordable place to bring family visiting for a wow effect! You get to visit the sky garden (and skip the queue) beforehand - for that, plan to arrive 45min early! Food is good (portions might look small, but feels you up).
It's the second time I go, and still as great as the 1st time.
This time we had non-alcoholic cocktails, and I'd recommend the Pink Petal to everyone (see in the pic).
You have 1h30 to order and eat, but that's never been an issue to make it on time, service is very fast.
We also got lucky and were given a window table, definitely makes the whole experience even better.
Staff is great here! And they'll take pictures of you if asked nicely.
O. B.
Food was amazing. We were served by Antony and he was so lovely, made us feel comfortable the whole time. I would 100% go back here for a special occasion. Sky garden is a lovely place to go
D. J.
What an exceptional place! When we arrived the staff were so friendly showed us to our table, somebody came to take our drinks order promptly and then we were given some time to look over the food menu. We had the 3 course brunch menu. The food was prompt and absolutely delicious!! The staff constantly checked we were happy with the food which was so lovely. Would 100% be visiting again
C. R.
Beautiful restaurant in a great location and the view is brilliant. Only thing was the service was a bit chaotic when we arrived, the reservation staff initially ignored us, then got our reservation wrong, assuming we were with another party and leading us to the wrong table. Once at our correct table it took 20 minutes to bring us any water or drinks, and the service was generally very slow, waiting a long time between courses. Luckily we weren’t in a hurry and we’re happy enjoying the view! Food was delicious as well.
S. H.
This place is exceptional. From catering to our guest who has food allergies, incredible service with great knowledge of the menu and some banter, as well as attentiveness.
The food itself was delicious and well sized. The three course lunch menu incuded generous salmon to start, a beef roast full of flavour and a raspberry chocolate delice which without doubt was the most refreshing raspberry flavour I have ever tasted in a desert.
Not cheap, but very good price for the amazing food and experience.
I was happy to pay the service charge and will certainly go back at some point.
V. B.
Superb! Very good atmosphere and excellent service.
N. S.
Great place and mostly the service
😊 a guy called Martin served us beautifully
He is great and not only him but everyone else
The vibes of the restaurant and the food are great
Definitely recommended 🙌🏼😊
N. S.
Brilliant views and surprisingly good value for money, considering its location, views and free access to the gardens. In my opinion a far better alternative compared to the Shard. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive and did not rush us at all between courses. The dishes were were well cooked and presented with generous portions. A great selection of wines and cocktails.
W. D.
Delicious food friendly staff at London price at a super venue. Would do it again without thinking.
E. G.
Amazing view and service, food has improved since past years. It is good and plenty of selection.
Not cheap but worth for treating yourself or guests.
Suggestion is to book in advance.
L. A.
Lovely early lunch with a pleasant international staff and intriguing menu. We weren't even going to get much food but we're too curious! Both dishes were very tasty, though I found the tuna surprisingly thick for a carpaccio. Nice proseccco by the glass snd cozy booth-like benches that were perfect for the baby. Beware that when they offer you bread and olives, there will be quite a charge on your bill! Not complimentary...
C. C.
The sea bass (not below picture) is excellently prepared and served with just the right amount of vegetables. The view is simply great. Worth coming up here for a la carte menu.
N. S.
At the top 36 floor of the Sky Garden, good vibes and a great atmosphere. The food was basically good, a bit on the sweet side though. Friendly service but lacks professional attitude. The steak tartar was ok, sea brim - not much to report back, the lamb was wat too faty and we had to return it to the kitchen.
D. B.
The view was amazing.
At night it's a beautiful display of London's architecture and night life.
A trully romantic place to go.
However being vegetarian, the selections weren't great. The drinks were almost £14 -£16 per drink.
However the service was impeccable, Mr Xavier really looked after us and was great throughout the whole night
J. A. A. P.
Located in Sky Garden. Darwin has a modern European menu with plenty of halal options.
We ordered the chicken confit on peas and grilled Salmon.
Both dishes were a delight. Chicken was very moist and tender and almost fell of the bone. Smoked Salmon grilled to perfection.
Friendly servers and great for a special occasion. I have dined in the evening and daytime and would have to admit dining at night just feels a lot more intimate with bright lights from the City surrounding the panoramic windows.
Would recommend Daytime for families in particular.
J. S.
The food it's ok but the place it's increible!!!!
A. G.
A breathtaking view!
Timed our visit with sunset here and was absolutely blown away!
The restaurant is a fantastic modern setting, in subtle clean beech wood and white colours with soft warm lighting that makes your table feel private even when the restaurant was packed!
The menu is down to earth and more relatable than the restaurant’s pretentious neighbour, and yet dishes are still cooked to a fantastic standard...
Don’t just stop at the food though, quirky cocktails in funky glassware are the perfect accompaniment to the food.
Service was absolutely top notch and the wait staff were funny and caring.
I. M.
Congested arrival area.
Grossly overpriced drinks at bar
Average food
Service a bit slow.
12.5 % Service charge is a problem as at the time of my visit the service did not live up to my expectation.
But I don't expect that matters to you. If it did you would do something about it.
O.
I will start with the positives. My girlfriend and I went here while staying in London. The location is excellent, right next to tower hill where we were staying. The vibe was very upbeat and our waitress was lovely. We started with bread and olives which were delicious. However it was when we moved on to our mains, the food became very underwhelming. I had the chicken supreme, which by definition is a “boneless, skinless breast of chicken”, so I was very disappointed to find a large bone in it. The taste was okay. The accompanying foods were overcomplicated and poorly presented, as were my girlfriend’s. She ordered trout which was quite dry and again underwhelming. The white wine we ordered was okay.
Overall I would not recommend here for food as it’s very overpriced for average food. There are cheaper better eats in London.
A. G.
Novel location overlooking a garden overlooking the London skyline. The service was 5 star and very attentive, but just dropping a star for the food. While the menu was small it did have an interesting variety, albeit not much choice for vegetarians. However the dishes were just so so, not very delicious, and portions not generous for the price.
J. M.
Just had a fantastic meal here. The food was delicious, the views phenomenal and the staff were SO friendly. Thoroughly recommend.
T. M. M.
I often bring visiting friends here. Great views of London, access to the Sky Garden and I think it is very good value for the price point. The only downside is it can be a little loud.
L. Q.
Reasonably priced, delicious food with a spectacular view.

I celebrated my 25th birthday there, really good place with tasty food and friendly stuff.

Good place, fantastic views on a clear night. Food nice. Paying for location more than anything else.
D. M.
Situated in the Skygarden, a beautiful and awesome setting, together with fantastic food, and great service, it is definitely worth another visit.
E. ..
The view, ambience and food is amazing
T. R.
This was a fun experience. You have to go to the very top of this building to get to the restaurant, so the views are amazing.
We went for Saturday breakfast right when they opened. The food was really tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were nice, but they didn’t come around much, so it was a bit difficult to ask for additional things if needed.
The restaurant itself is gorgeous. If you can get a seat at the side farthest from the door, you’ll get the best views. The rest are fine, but you don’t get to see as much and really takes away from the experience of eating with a view.
H. J.
The best thing about Darwin, for me, was the service. The staff were really nice and always around for when we needed something especially with my limited food requirements.
We went for our 3rd wedding anniversary, and were pleasantly surprised to have been allocated a nice window seat (either that or we were just lucky to arrive when we did). They even brought out a small raspberry cheesecake slice to make our anniversary sweeter!
The food was nice, although a little overpriced, but I guess that's what you pay for in a restaurant that gives you a great view of the city.
Darwin's is a very nice place to dine out, for occasions, or all the time, if you're a high flyer
C. T.
Darwin Brasserie is the intermediate restaurant into the Sky Garden complex. I had “a la carte” lunch there. Food and service are excelent and all the location is suoerb. Don’t go without reservation, it’s always full.
e. m.
Little apprehensive as the reviews are a bit hit & miss but our Saturday brunch was perfect. Seated on time, orders taken promptly and everything was brought out at a good pace. Waiter was great. The menu and flavours were delicious and portions big enough to leave you satisfied but not over full. The surroundings were lovely and overall surprisingly good value would definitely return.
P. M.
Beautiful restaurant. I went between sets, so I did not experience a wait to get seated. I watched a match while I ate. The champagne came in about 90 seconds and my food was there in 5 minutes. Great service great food! Hey, you're at Wimbledon!
S. H.
The burger was tasty, juicy and delicious. The place has a beautiful view over London and the staff was kind and professional. However, you may find the smallest bottle of Coca Cola in this restaurant.
K. R.
A great Brasserie in London's Sky Garden.
It's a good place even though you don't have too many choices here, 2 restaurants and a bar.
The view of course is amazing and is the main reason to visit, but not the only one.
The service was impeccable, the food was up to our standard (we tried the steak and the gnocchi) and the prices are fair.
M. P.
Lovely start of the day with a breakfast here and the opportunity of the best view of London. It really adds to the Sky Garden experience. Food and drinks could have been better for the price
J. S.
Great service, great views (even on a dull grey day) and lovely food.
A. M.
Hi All, so it was my first time visiting Darwin. Firstly, the restaurant has a great vibe to it, quite noisy but pretty nice. Also has a fantastic view onto the rest of Sky Garden. It would be nice to have more lighting as it was quite dim.
Secondly, the food was good/average. I ordered the steak and chips which tasted great - nice thick steak with chips, salad and sauce. My ordered the lamb below which she said ended up just being slightly overwhelming due to its texture. For dessert there was a tart, which lacked moisture and taste - it could have been so much better, the ice cream tasted create though. I had high expectations but it fell short.
Lastly, customer service was below average. The lady who served us was quite rude. We barely got a welcome, a hello and a smile. They also messed up the payment on the bill, which was finally sorted after 30mins of deliberations.
But overall, I would definitely recommend for the experience 😁
S. A.
It is a great experience eating in a french cuisine with a wonderful ambience. I had a steak and my friend had the sea bass. This place is a MUST..
C. Y. T.
Solid stuff here at Darwin Brasserie. I had "The English" (just another typical English Breakfast), but this breakfast reflects that the kitchen crew understands the importance of getting the basics right and perfecting it. Job well done on the Cumberland sausage and the black pudding, and hats off to the quality of their service. Of course, it being on the 36th floor of the Sky Garden is also where you can enjoy the picturesque view of London. Haven't tried dining in for dinner but hope to have that chance someday.
M. M.
Very delicious food , great atmosphere , good service.
J. C.
The food was excellent, and better than I expected. Usually places like this are disappointing and reliant on their fantastic view. The staff was also super nice. The only downsides are that prices are a bit higher, and the crowds and security you have to wade through to get to the restaurant.
l. h.
Went for brunch today, food was good, waiter was really attentive, only downer was due to slow service we overran out alloted 2 hours for dinner so as soon as we put our spoons down from dessert we wre approached and given the bill whilst being asked to vacate our table. Understand the T&Cs state 2 hours but if we havent finished our meal and drinks due to slow service then they have to have a way to exend this time allowance, really put a downer on what was a nice lunch
M.
The place looks great and service is just perfect. Didn’t like the food. Eggs Benedict were brought to me about two minutes after I ordered them. The sauce on top was dry and cold. They were prepared long before I ordered them. You would think the price is high enough to be sure the food is fresh. Spoiler: it’s not.
The view is great though!
E. G.
This was our last day in London and started it off right by eating brunch here. We were served by Marit this morning, and she made our morning so enjoyable! She was interactive and funny yet attentive to serve us. I would recommend sitting next to the window so you can have a great view with your breakfast! We ordered the avocado toast and coconut quinoa porridge. Both were filling and fresh. I would highly recommend visiting this place and spend time enjoying a meal and drinks here. I would also recommend booking you ticket to come in before 11am. When we were leaving about 11:30-12:00, there was a long line outside around the building already.
J. M.
Just had a fantastic meal here. The food was delicious, the views phenomenal and the staff were SO friendly. Thoroughly recommend.
K. T.
Amazing experience. Absolutely loved everything about it. Food, staff, views. This place has everything spot on. Sky Garden an added bonus. Witnessed a wedding proposal on next table - staff went out of their way to help a very nervous prospective groom out. She accepted :-)
A. S.
Amazing views, great service. The food is not cheap, burger or Caesar salad were around 20GBP each. But the ingredients are great, and also the quantity is more than adequate.
J. O.
What a fantastic venue. The staff amazing, food was fantastic, atmosphere was great. What more can I say. I can't wait to go back.
Z. M.
Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and great views combined with delicious food. The fishcake was crunchy and creamy, lovely hollandaise sauce and poached egg on the top. The delicate, well-balanced apple pie with vanilla ice cream was a perfect way to finish off the brunch. Would go again without a doubt.
R. H.
Waiters were plenty and were easy to get hold of if you wanted their attention. The attentive service and excellent food really made the experience. Although the experience is a little novelty and typical tourist hot-spot that does not detract from the beauty of it all. The English breakfast was especially tasty and clearly of a high quality. Only negative would be the size of the table fruit platter was small.
E. B.
The view is stunning (if you're lucky with a table), the food is delicious. What I didn't like about the place - when we came on time, we were said to wait for 10 minutes, however after coming back in 10 mins, we had to wait for 20 more mins at the bar before we were finally seated. We basically lost these valuable 20 mins, which we could spend wandering around the sky garden (after our late lunch it was already too dark to do so and the balcony was closed).
D. J. V.
Such a beautiful view of London. The interior is nice and modern and the staff are lovely. The menu was small but suitable for everything.
A. S.
First time we were there was because it was the only way to see the Sky Garden. It was so good that now we booked a reservation directly. And we were not disappointed! The food is great, the service is great. It’s a bit expensive, but totally worth it!
M. T.
Lovely, boozy birthday lunch! Our waiter Mahmood was very kind and attentive with a good sense of humour. Would def come back
T. F.
Amazing location and view, staff are very attentive ( to a point ). A wonderful experience overall. Few minor points to be aware of. The restaurant is very and I do mean very loud. Acoustics are awful! You will struggle to hear the person on your table when the restaurant is full. The food is good but not great. It is reasonably priced on the whole but it is not going to rival a fine dining experience elsewhere. Tables are small and the dining area has a lot of tables shoe horned into the area.
Minor issue with waiting for dessert menu and the when order finally taken it was 'forgotten'. To be fair it didn't spoil the evening as I was just being greedy but being honest the way the staff dealt with this issue was exceptional. Discount on overall bill and a very sincere apology. Plus they had provided a window table as requested at time of booking which seriously made the entire evening worthwhile.
Visit if you want an incredible view and great service.
B. A.
A run of the mill place, nothing to note here except the view. Service is good but everything feels like a canteen rather than a Brasserie. Food comes way too fast. They limit your dinning time to sell places again. Ordered 500ml wine which was poured straight in two glasses! Felt like a way side cafe. Sea Bass was good but lacked any particular taste, seasoning or sauce. Will not be back.

This restaurant is one of a few restaurant at top of the building. It definitely has a beautiful view especially if you are seated near to window.
We came on Monday for lunch and we ordered the set lunch 3 course meal. The food portion was big and taste really good. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. We were there actually for our 7th wedding anniversary and were very happy with everything.
Food was top class, service was top notch, no complain at all.
Ps:
you can have faster access to enter the building if you have prior reservation at restaurant. No need to join the long Q to enter the Sky Garden.
J. M.
Amazing location with incredible views. Food was just above average. Recommend a reservation and arriving early as there’s security screening for the high rise lift. A must do for your London visit.
E. S.
Nice Place! Delicious foods.
P.
Perfect balance between relaxed casual atmosphere whilst also feeling like a special occasion still. Always a favourite. Great food at a very fair price given the views and that you’d pay £20+ a head to go up the shard for the view and have no dinner.
J. G.
Lovely place with a lovely view - sitting by the window made for a lovely setting - the food was great and the service was also good - it was for a double celebration of an engagement and a birthday and unfortunately we didn't feel special at all which is a shame - small tokens for something that is expensive to a lot of people goes a long way, especially when the service charge is high.
P. C.
Food was excellent, service top notch and the view from the 36th floor is it course great. Prices are reasonable given the location and quality of the place.
If you go for breakfast, I strongly suggest the pancakes!
M. S.
Great/unbeatable view, but the menu isn’t too varied.
Food did taste good & was well-made but it’s just limited in choice of meat etc.
I went here for my birthday dinner & I wanted a casual/laid back atmosphere. Which I got! So not complaining. But it’s not a very fancy meal, if that’s what you’re looking for.
E. S.
The restaurant is really really noisy, that is the only negative thing. Otherwise the good is great, the service good and attentive. The food is prized midrange-up.
R. S.
The basis of the 5 stars, is 100% for the staff and the view. A group of 6 of us arrived and we were very quickly shown to our table, water presented and warm bread and butter to nibble on. One of our party was uncomfortable with how hot it was and she asked a waitress if they could turn the aircon up. Which they did! Drinks were flowing well and then the waitress noticed that one of our other friends wasn't drinking her drink she stopped at the table and asked "do you not like your drink" our friend replied "too sour not sweet enough" with that she picked her glass and made her a better one. Our starters arrived and very pleasant no complaints here, then the mains and to say the knives our blunt was an understatement. I spoke to the waitress and she gave me 3 different sets of knives to cut through the steak. After she realised that the steak was a bad cut she removed it and very quickly replaced it with a new one which was stunning. This in the end came off the bill which was unexpected. Deserts came again no complaints here either. We arrived at 3:30pm and ended up leaving at around 6pm. We were only meant to have had the table for 2 hours however we didnt feel preasured to hurry up, infact they were making sure we were completely satisfied before we left. Overall really happy customer.
Would I go back? Yes defiantly the staff are great and the food was lovely and the views amazing!

A delicious meal with an incredible view. The prices were reasonable for such a fantastic experience. We went in the middle of the afternoon and still got a great table. The pork belly was exquisite
M. B.
Amazing. Great place to spend some time. Service was outstanding, especially Thomas.
I. D.
Amazing views, good food, great service, the dessert could have been better (strawberry cheesecake). Recommend getting there an hour before sunset, so you could enjoy how the light changes.
E. A.
I only had one dish, but it was very good! The view is definitely the highlight of this fancy, high end restaurant. Service was kind, fast and good. Removed a star for inconvenient process of accessing the restaurant and for price.
M. M.
Awesome place with fantastic view, welcoming staff & delicious food. Overall, memorable experience & day.
A. M.
This place is GORGEOUS! Came here last year for my boyfriend's birthday (which I told them in advance). They seated us in one of the best tables by the edge so we had an amazing view all over London. We had the weekend brunch menu - £44.50 per person and you get a main course with unlimited starters and desserts from the brunch bar. Their buffet is insane - endless smoked salmon! All the food was great - they even bought out a cute little birthday pudding plate for my boyfriend's birthday (see pics).
As another tip, if you book a table at Darwin you don't need to register to get separate entrance to SG, which was handy. I'd definitely recommend coming here to celebrate a special occasion if you want to visit Sky Garden too!
A. M.
Can highly recommend the breakfast with a view which feels more exclusive than the Sky Garden. Suitable for friends or business. Does require going through security scanners at the base.
C. F.
Had a lovely time with my wife, staff were friendly and accommodating as I am lactose intolerant even altering a dish for me.
Highly recommended
D. D.
Nice views from the high 36th floor. Service , food and beverages are excellent. Def worth coming here for lunch and or dinner.
A. S.
The food was amazing, the waiter Mamood was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the sky garden and Darwin Brasserie
K. S.
View brilliant loved rhe food. Just one thing my partner thought the tables and chairs were not 5 star
G. S. B.
Spent our anniversary here. The staff is kind and the food...The pictures will do the talking..Had a great time and excellent food was served
P. T.
We had a great time in the Walkie Talkie. Not cheap but not horrendously expensive, given the location. Incredible 360 views across London. Visited on the hottest day of the year, so the Sky Garden was like the Palm House at Kew! Luckily the Darwin Brasserie in air conditioned! Great service too.
s. g.
Amazing i can't find nothing to complain....Excellent food, table service,atmosphere....Very friendly staff ,the view is amazing(i prefer going there at night)...
J. C.
35 floors up! A public garden - very exotic. And a couple of restaurants. Nice and attentive serving staff - thanks Malachi! - Did I mention the food is good? The views? It was all good!
A. R.
Fantastic! 100% of satisfaction. Perfect, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They doing their job properly and make you're feeling good.
So tasty food. I was full up.
Clean and tidy.
A.
Always fabulous food and service. We had a corner table with a fantastic view. A grand afternoon out.
J. N.
Such a nice place for a special occasion! For the view, ambience, service and food it's worth it. Food was really nice and beautifully presented - great place for special occasions or taking visitors.
J. F.
Good food and great service but it’s very noisy (like everywhere else in the Sky Garden).
Lovely decoration and amazing view of course.
S. B.
Definitely one of the best views in London, accompanied by a decent meal. A weirdly disappointing beer list but an extensive wine selection. Portions are quite generous, especially the enormous cheese plate. A visit also gets you into the Skygarden which has stunning 360 views of London.
M.
Went for my boyfriend’s birthday. food and service excellent. We both had the rib eye steak and it was perfect. They even gave my boyfriend a small token dessert with Happy Birthday on the plate which was a nice touch because I hadn’t asked for it.
E. T.
Beautiful restaurant with stunning views and delicious menu.
Enjoyed a delicious breakfast followed by some sweet treats.
Highly recommend.
M. W.
Spectacular! Lovely views and incredible food. Perfect for special moments.
T. W.
Good place, fantastic views on a clear night. Food nice. Paying for location more than anything else.
K. B. B.
We were fortunate enough to have a window table to enjoy the view while we ate! Other tables wouldn't have been so nice. Food was tasty, but small portions and on the pricey side. Friendly, if slightly understaffed, service.
a. o.
Great food and a great view of London. The English breakfast was superb, especially the black pudding
c. i.
The place is lovely and the view is what really makes it, however the service was not great; we had to wait over 15min to order and more than 25 to pay which made the experience quite frustrating. The food was fairly average, but I guess it is worth it for the location and view.
R. M.
Beautiful place and food amazing
L. B.
Amazing experience for a restaurant as it is located at the very top of the "WALKIE-TALKIE" building in London. The view of London from the 37th floor of this building is incredible. The sunset is stunning as well as the different points of interest you can find. Food and service is good in this restaurant so all in all it deserves the 5 stars. However the vegan and vegetarian option should be a great deal broader and certainly options for desserts. Because they haven't got up to date with the trend, they lose 1 star from me hence the 4 stars and not 5. You do have to book in advance even if it is to visit the top of the tower without using the restaurant.
A. G. M.
A truly remarkable experience served extremely well by Martina and Jon. This was customer service to the finest level, the food was excellent and was such an incredible experience that it will forever have made a mark. We intend to make it an annual event same time same date same table…thanks to everyone for making our once in a lifetime memory exceptional!!!
S. E.
The view is amazing and the service and food are very good. Recommend coming at sunset.
O. P.
Absolutely stunning views. Went there for breakfast at 10. At 1020 the Waiter came and announced, that the breakfast buffet will close at 1030....?! And if you decide to have one one of the buffet offers, do not order a coffee if you are asked at the welcoming of your waiter. Because this one will be charged to your bill, and the coffee with the buffet is free....!!! Kind of rip-off.....
I. B.
Fantastic service, excellent views, lovely food.
M.
Spectacular view, at 36th floor, good food as well, is a bit expensive obviously because you are in a particular place but worth it
M. B.
The view is incredible, but the food isn't anything special, and it is quite expensive. I would definitely recommend coming after 7pm so that you can see the city lights
E. B.
A lovely place to eat on top of 20 Fenchurch. Reasonably priced given the location and the quality of the food, which was superb! There's also a bar downstairs with live music sometimes playing, overall a brilliant setting for a meal!
S. L.
Exciting to finally get to the Sky Garden and then it rained, alot. But it was still a good view and lunch was tasty if exceedingly noisy. Very helpful staff, good service and food that was fine but didn't sing. The creme brulee was recommended over other desserts and it was a bit scrambled eggs...
G. A.
Shout out to IIONA who served us a while ago. Wow we were blown away by the great customer service. Keep up the kind work.
L.
Views great, smashed avocado incredible! Pancakes looked amazing and I was pretty jealous I didn’t order them! 🥑
S. B.
Nice restaurant, slightly over attentive when it came to ordering wine for the table - I think we were asked 5+ times. That aside, food was good and reasonably priced. A nice, alternative London venue with amazing views.
Lifts in and out were time consuming and frustrating
K. M.
Need to book in advance, but it's all worth it.
K. L.
The atmosphere is pleasant, the view spectacular, the food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!
M. C.
Good view, food and service. Very accommodating even though we didn't book ahead. A tad expensive for what you get but then it's to be expected for where it is.
R. V.
Well made food and fantastic views. Love it.
A. A. (.
Nice ambience for a date night. People also came around for a party with friends. The staffs are nice and friendly
C. E.
Lovely place great views - bit expensive but worth it . Staff lovely . You have a 1.5 hour slot and we found this enough
L. C.
Beautiful restaurant with an amazing view of the shard. I went for breakfast and had the vegan option. It was really lovely. The staff were friendly and the service was quick.
B.
Amazing location, staff were so friendly and helpful and made the experience even better. The food was excellent and any minor problems were fixed and sorted immediately and it was no problem for the staff to sort out. Would 100% recommend! Fantastic experience!!
B. Z.
Amazing 5 Stars experience, very friendly staff and heavenly food !
D. D.
Fantastic views and great staff really made our visit special. Food was also top notch
D. D.
Delicious cuisine and excellent service. Special thanks to Joy who made the experience special!
C. L.
This place is simply brilliant. I booked for lunch at the Darwin Brasserie and loved every minute. The views are awesome. When arriving at the restaurant following about 30mins checking out the views, the staff greeted us warmly and showed us to our seats. We were seated at a window table and the view was awesome. The food was really tasty and was not slow at arriving. The waiting staff were superb. Our waitress was very nice and was heathers when we needed her without it bearing overbearing.
It was my partners birthday and they kindly gave her a lovely chocolate brownie mini cake free of charge to celebrate. All in all I would highly recommend coming here for food!
M. M.
Very well seasoned food, nice selection and friendly staff. Good addition to Sky Garden, some tables offer excellent view.
M. 0.
This place has an amazing view whilst you eat, and all round good food. A bit expensive, considering we had the Eat out Help out discount on our bill but still took a good chunk of the wallet. Overall the mocktails were delicious, the starter was quite nice, the mains were slightly over average, and the dessert was fantastic. I would definitely go back again!! (Long as they keep the Eat out Help out scheme going haha)
T. S.
Great good. Good service. Terrific views. A fun night out with the added bonus of two bars to select from.
Z. K.
Amazing views, outstanding service, good food even though its a little bit on the expensive side. Brilliant London outing!
A. W.
Food is excellent but unusually the service was quite slow. Evidently busy, we were overlooked for 35 mins until I spoke to a staff member. Pancakes are wonderful and have plenty of syrup and taste.
In these awkward Covid times, tables are close together and noise is plentiful which isn't what you imagine but the experience is still worth doing.
L. B.
Great view at night and the food is delicious. Waiting staff are very friendly and knowledgeful
D. L.
Such a lovely experience-- firstly, the location is stunning. The Sky Garden and the views from the restaurant are dreamy. The food is also really good and the staff are wonderful. Service is great.
M. C.
Very nice service. Booked a table for breakfast to enjoy the view of the shy garden. Would rather recommend to book the sky bar for the view of you want to get in cheaper. Splendid views over London.
I. R.
Amazing food, service and value! Can’t wait to see the sights and atmosphere in the evening!
J. S.
Service was good, the waiters are great! The view is just amazing and I even got a birthday dessert which was a sweet touch. The food was OK but I wouldn't come again just for the food. The view is 100%.
D. M.
Went here for lunch. We had a great table with stunning views. The food was amazing , the waiter and floor manager were superb , absolutely 5 star service.
M. C.
Had a lovely dinner here with a window seat, expensive but worth it as it was a special occasion.
H. G.
Great experience. Great service. Great view. Great company... Just the toilets need a better clean on a more regular basis. Great restaurant for an occasion, would recommend 100%!
P. K.
Amazing staff, reasonable prices and food more than delicious. 5 stars and we will be coming back!!!
A. E.
We had a great time here for a family get together meal. We had a look around the sky garden beforehand, then when it came time to our booking we proceeded to the restaurant. The food was pretty great all round and the service was also very good.
S. C.
Amazing food and service!
Our waiter was extremely attentive and the view was immaculate.
J. V.
Great place to visit definitely recommend.
Nice views and lovely food at the restaurant.
r. b.
I visited for brunch on a Sunday. I booked online a couple of hours before. Nice food and beautiful view. Very helpful and friendly staff. A bit loud.
J. P.
Had a wonderful brunch up here for friends birthday. Xavier our waiter was lovely and so helpful, 5 star service.
Fantastic views and great food xx
M. B.
I celebrated my 25th birthday there, really good place with tasty food and friendly stuff.
T. P.
Stunning views, and OK coffee :) It's a free experience but you need to book, selfie sticks are not allows and unfortunately the ignorant security staff applied the same rules to my handheld stabiliser.
C. L.
We had a lovely meal celebrating my husband’s birthday at the end of May. The food was very tasty and our table had great views! Bane, our waiter, was so helpful and efficient and he is certainly an asset to the brasserie!
N. C.
Such a wonderful place, awe inspiring views, wonderful staff and the food was lovely. Felt very unrushed which is perfect for absorbing the amazing view around.
A. B.
FANTASTIC food (get the salmon to start and trout for main)! Beautiful view - doesn't disappoint.
P. S.
Awesome place to visit. We have been there for our anniversary celebration, Darwin made it very special with their complementary cake, special thanks for that. Ambience is just wow. Must visit place.
A. C.
Great view with acceptable prices. I only had some drinks. I recommend a visit if only for a half hour to catch a glimpse of London from above. I recommend making a reservation during weekends.
K. G.
Delicious food, great service and stunning views
h. j.
Stunning views of London, beautiful roof garden. The drinks are reasonably priced, I think you will need to book for a space in the restaurant and the it could be little pricey
M. H.
Lovely view over London. Staff friendly, good service.
R. F.
Great place, view, food, service and definitely worth the price.
We would recommend to skip the starters as you only have 1h30 to eat. Please do not let this discourage you as the food is heavenly and certainly an experience to remember.
V. T.
Food was ok, a bit overpriced but you pay for the location of course. Nice staff and amazing views
E. T.
Lovely service, food and drinks. Looooved the pink petal mocktail and the lovely views. A bucket list visit for sure. Wish there'd been slightly more choice of starters but apart from that, I loved everything ❤️
D. V.
The food is amazing and the view even more so!
L. Y.
Fancy place to go because of the location and the view
Really worth to see London by night from the bar
But it’s freezing during winter (natural ventilation)
The food is average
The service is ok
N. G.
Really enjoyed the Darwin Brasserie. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the chicken but next time will try something different. The view was beautiful. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning.
S. P.
The food was really good and staff was really attentive. Best seats in house next to the window. Perfect sunday breakfast.
G. D.
The place is lovely but the service even better John done a incredible job looking after us all the time his recommendations was 10/10 . Definitely will be back
I was very pleased to find my favourite white wine on the menu Tokaji give a try.
J. R.
Twins had birthday meal, food was fantastic, staff very friendly, view from sky garden amazing. A definite must do for all
C. A.
Spectacular views with the best cocktails, best steak and the staff was efficient and courteous.
Most importantly their delicious food and drinks are not over priced.
L. Q.
Reasonably priced, delicious food with a spectacular view.
A. G.
Drinks are fantastic, so is the food
M. P.
I had the Tuna Nicoise.
Very good!
The views are amazing too.
Highly recommend 👍🏼
A. S.
Incredible views of London at night. Food is decent and the service is excellent.
Prices are fair for what it is.
I. B.
Seated near the window with an amazing view for 21st birthday. Brilliant waitess ioana and quick service- even got a small piece of cake for birthday! Would definitely come back.
G. M.
Excellent meal, great service and an amazing view
H. G.
Good food and great service. The glass and wall was reflecting a lot of the sound (people talking) so it was rather loud. The should put some sound dampening on one of the walls to reduce the noise.
K. K.
Pricey but worth every pound. Exceptional food (truffle & Parmesan fries are to die for), beautifully presented. Attentive service and stunning views.
M. S.
Food was amazing, I could eat the rolled lamb shoulder as my last meal on death row, and the views are second to none (if you're fortunate enough to be seated near the windows).
BUT
The whole place was like a greenhouse (granted, it was the evening of one of the hottest days of the year, but it's a modern building and the brasserie is self-contained, surely it has AC??).
The service was also slightly lacking - drinks took almost as long to arrive as the food (even the water), water glasses were boiling hot, they only had a sub-par off-menu replacement wine, but tried to charge full price, no ice with the rose wine...little details that make all the difference.
For the price you pay, the quality of the food and the surroundings, it's a real shame that the little details let it down.
A. K.
We have been surprised with the dessert for our wedding dinner. Love it. Thank you
P. H.
Probably more for the view than the breakfast. The english breakfast was ok, although the eggs Benedict/royale looked very nice.
K. F.
Starters and dessert were delicious. Mains could be more interesting.. staff were brilliant. Well worth a visit, would come again.
R. L.
Great dishes and beautiful view, the prefect place to start your morning
A. F.
Obviously this place is all about the view which was the best part of the experience here. The food here is a decent standard but expensive for what you actually get (a decent chain restaurant would be close in quality but much better value).
The first server we had was quite slow and reccomended sides to go with our mains that were unsuitable (potatoes to go with fish where it was already served with them, chips to go with a burger when it already came with them) and no olives were brought to the table when asked. Another server took over and took care of the things we didn't need or wasn't delivered. The second server was really good, polite and professional.
Overall it wasn't the best meal, but the experience was nice.
I. S.
Great view, cocktails and wine are excellent. Food was above average, but the service and atmosphere make this place tip top.....make reservations!
C. G.
Loved the food and drinks! Perfect service from Mahmood. Definitely recommend this place because of him!
Z. S.
Had the best time for my birthday meal! Service was outstanding, in particular our server, Artemis, was outstanding! She went above and beyond to give us a great time. When ordering, she told us halal chicken can be substituted in the beef burger, and oh my goodness! One of the best burgers we've had. Also, during our starters, she moved us to a window seat and we enjoyed brilliant views of the city for the rest of the meal. To top it off, the waiters sang me happy birthday and gave me some cake. I would highly recommend and I'll definitely be returning. Thank you again, Artemis! ❤️
z. R.
A. d. K.
Went for a business meeting - the setting and the food were brilliant! Had the lamb shank which was absolutely amazing, a tad bit fatty but great all round. Such amazing mash!
The soup starter is sufficient for a main with the accompanying toastie so don’t be fooled. The delice is lovely but overly rich so a big win if you can share.
Please like this review!
A. T.
Spectacular view of London. Good food. Very friendly staff. Halal options available on request.
j. d.
Beautiful restaurant, amazing views! Fantastic food! All round 5 stsr
M. V.
The food was delicious, good view but the personal should improve.... I could easily give 5 stars but the service was not good at all.
H. S.
The food and drinks were outstanding tasted very fresh and worth the cost. I ordered salmon which was delicious with a poached egg I would order the same meal again. Might partner had a lentil burger and fries which she loved. Service was a little slow but the waiters and staff are happy to be there and help. The cherry on the cake is the view you have time before and after your meal to explore. It’s better to book in advance online.
E. B.
Had the most amazing time visiting Sky Gardens and the Darwin Brasserie.
We were early but were still seated at a window seat with unbelievable views of the Thames. Staff were friendly, Service was brilliant and so was the food. They sent out a plated 'Happy Anniversary' dish at the end which was the perfect touch and end to a perfect evening. Thank you so much Darwin Brasserie :)
T. C.
Absolutely amazing experience, visiting in the evening to celebrate an occasion. Booked online and was emailed two days before with extra information and to confirm we were still visiting.
Food was very tasty, a tonne of flavour and great variety. Broad and exciting vegetarian and fish options for those who want it as well, which is always great to see.
Staff were excellent, asking if we needed anything at regular intervals. Seemed to be so many waiters and waitresses walking around which meant service was efficient and staff were not overworked or spread to thinly across the restaurant. All of them were polite and smiley
I would recommend visiting Darwin brasserie 10/10. Views out are amazing and prices high yet reasonable considering the location and access to the sky garden before and after your meal! Please don't listen to the reviews saying it is deafening. Whilst it is noisy due to the amount of glass and layout it is no way near as bad as reviews make it seem.
B.
Fantastic views, our waitress was wonderful and very friendly/helpful and the food was thoroughly enjoyable (lamb shank in particular). Only disappointment is that they removed the sea bream from the menu, which my partner would have ordered. Overall we would return
K. Z.
Food is pretty average but nice view
B. M.
Excellent service, great food.
There's nothing not to like.
J. B.
Place is going to be overpriced given its on the top floor of a building in London, but the food was quite blah for what you pay for it. Basically compares to some mediocre pub food (and that's being nice). I had the salmon and my partner had the chicken and both dishes were pretty bland with poor presentation for £26 - £29 pounds per plate. Service was not bad, which is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 2.
M. M.
Great service, great meal, thank you Xavier?
V. V.
Great food.. and amazing friendly staff. My kids loved it.
E. G.
Amazing place, very romantic, good food!
Z. A.
Lovely food and fabulous cocktails. The views are superb, well worth a trip.
T. M.
Brilliant food, well priced considering the views over the river.
C. S.
Fantastic view, friendly staff and a delicious burger... 🙂
A. M.
Great food with a view of the city of London. Love it!
A. R.
Great food, good service and fantastic views
S. S.
Great view at Skybar. Drinks pricey and long waiting queue to get in. Dress properly as in no trainers or you won't get in in evening!
J. W.
Amazing views, great Service and stunning food.
L. A.
The first waiter we had could have been nicer to us. The girl that replaced him( change of shifts) was muuuch better. We even got on the house brownie to congratulate us for our baby girl due in a few days :)
Overall, nice ambient and good view.
T. V. L.
Super delicious food and wine! Beautiful view from the 37th floor. Very good service! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Brassiere is small but nice, friendly staff, simple but tasty menu. Great views especially on a sunny day.
L.
Great food & service, amazing view!
S. S.
Asked to add chicken into my risotto and it was delicious! Eating here also comes with a fantastic view, you get to see the whole city!
T. P.
An experience well worth it, lovely meal at Darwin Brasserie
G. K.
J. L.
What one can say? Amazing place to be, to have a drink and enjoy the views of London.
L. S.
Great food, and very joyful atmosphere!
Pedro the waiter was amazing and made the whole dinner more enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!
A. R.
Great views, friendly staff, delicious food and worth every penny!
L. E.
Really great place! Clean and tatsy food with a great view!
B. L.
The short queues were a sign of covid, but everywhere is covid safe. Booked for lunch and was disappointed by the food, but was really disappointed by the tiny almost coffee table you sir at. Great views of London of course. Personally wouldn't eat there again but would go up for a coffee. All need to be ordered by an app. Was disappointed actually. But hindsight says actually it was a great trip if I disregard the food. It was alright but not sure it was value for money, hence the three Star.

Amazing experience. We booked our table online, were promptly seated, and were able to enjoy the view throughout our meal. The staff was very attentive, specially the hostess.
The ox cheek bourguignon was exquisite - easily the best meal I had during my time in London. The meat was so tender I could cut it with a fork; it was hearty and full of flavor.

Easy booking on their website though credit card required. Thanks to the reservation one pretty much skips the queue downstairs and gets more easily into Skygarden. Absolutely amazing food! The service is friendly and you really can’t beat the views! Perfect place to take out to visiting friends from out of town.

It is an incredible experince to visit Sky Garden, but I feel like this restaurant is over rated. It was lovely to go to once and experience it all, but for the price I dont think it's worth it. The restaurant is small and food was good but not great. Most of the cocktails are also served in tiny glasses. We had multiple different waiters throughout the night which seemed a bit disorganised.

Was a wonderful experience, the food was lovely, the staff were brilliant and attentive and even sung happy birthday quietly so that the others in the restaurant didn't get disturbed from their own dinners. Defo somewhere to be going back to

Great food, good drinks, and not as expensive as you might think for such an iconic building and view. We asked for a window seat when booking and didn't get one, but we still had a great view. We were asked if we wanted bread and olives to start, which we said yes. When the main meal arrived our bread and olives were taken away (which cost us £8.25!) without asking. It felt a bit like we were being hurried to finish our meal a bit.

We booked a table for 8 am on a Thursday and there was very few people dining there. The selection is good and the food is reasonably priced considering the location and view. If you’re looking for a special treat for breakfast then I would recommend the shard over this place though. It is quite cool walking round the sky garden on your own, get great snaps!

It’s a great place in terms of service and ambience. Make sure you book in advance.

Friendly staff, jungle feeling yet modern interior. Small portion but do not underestimate it (pretty filling😉).
Reasonable pricing, given the fact it is in central London
