I’ve eaten at Doner Daddy twice, first time was out of desperation, as I struggled to find somewhere open for dinner after a late finish on a Wednesday night, they looked like a typical London commuters kebab house, but once inside I noticed small differences to the layout. They took my order, & I waited, what was served up was different to other kebab houses, portioned off parts of a large meal, the meat being good quality, & not served as massive lengths like other kebabs, but instead smaller slices that are much easier to manage with a fork. The whole meal was fresh tasting, good portion size, & they took real care in its presentation, I was happily surprised! Oh, & the meal was randomly served with some bread slices (that I didn’t order or expect), & it has to be said, it the best part of the whole thing! The bread tasted warm & crunchy on the outside, but super light & fluffy on the inside, & again was very fresh, it was utterly delicious. Now, I’m not going to profess that late night kebabs are the best food going, but that’s not the point. The product the Daddy team served was done with care & pride, & that quality was tasted throughout the whole meal, & was entirely refreshing to find in a late night kebab house. Which leads me to writing this review, as they deserve the recommendation & kudos on taking pride in they’re product. Couple of weeks later I took my partner after attending a gig, & she was curious as to how I raved about it, & she was not disappointed! I live in west London so I’m not in that area, but I assure you, the rare times I am, I will always make sure to visit this place for a meal.

Ordered mixed meat with rice and chunky chips. The mixed meat with rice came beyond expectations. Came with beautiful bread, salad and a chilli sauce and a garlic sauce. Amazing and very filling. Great value for money. Unfortunately the chips are what is scoring lower. They are supposed to be chunky chips however they are just steak chips. They are very yellow looking overly soaked in oil....so I don't believe the oil was hot enough when my chips were cooked I just know to avoid them Everything else very good

I went with a friend, we got two large donner wraps, two portion chips, chili cheese bites, portion of hot wings to share and a hummus to share. Donner wraps were put together quite well, even balance of salad sauce and more meat. The wrap bread used is great for the wrap. The wings are barbecued on the grill so the taste is superb and healthier then fried. Chili cheese bites are the same ones found in Burger King and as of recently mc donalds. The hummus to share was on the house and I'm thankful for it, garnished with sumac. 5/5

I absolutely love daddy's meat. The food here is cooked fresh and served in a wrap or box with all the trimmings. Warm bread, fresh salad, chillies, sauces all atop a bed of rice. This was honestly the best kebab I've had in a long time - tasty and wholesome. It's not just a drunken snack, this was an enjoyable meal! Take a seat inside because you will have a reasonable wait for your food as they cook it, but you'll want to be sat down to devour this feast properly - it's certainly worth the wait.

Really great place - they are doing something different from you average kebab place. Staff are great and the manager was really chatty which has never happened to me before in a kebab shop. I had a Falafel and it was great with fresh pita bread - not the stuff you get from a supermarket. They also present the food really well. The salad was really nice and had rocket leafs which I have never seen before in a kebab place. Highly recommend.

Stunning food. This is how kebabs should taste - fresh and full of flavour. I knocked off 2 stars because the man said 15 mins and I was there waiting for 40 minutes!!! He gave me a free traditional drink which as good. I will give them another chance because the food was so good. But only one last chance to improve their timings.

Very nice beef kebabs. Apparently from Germany. The bread is lovely not like pitta bread. Prices are a little high for the area but it is worth it. They do a box of just meat, in two different sizes, but be warned the small one is very generous. They do have a few problems reading messages for deliveries though, asking for separate salad and sauce seems to confuse.

The kebab is amazing, so is the price. Tasty and very fresh. The meat is not too greasy! The chips are crunchy and nice. The salad is very fresh and there is variety. I liked the two sauces (white and red, the red wasn't to spicy but that's a personal taste). It's filling but not too much as all the items are presented separately and not in a sandwich. The calamari is very nice, crunchy and tasty, cooked to perfection! We were offered a quiet table at the back as we had baby in a pram, which we appreciated. However it was a bit chilly there. I had to wait a long time to get my pita bread, my partner had to queue and ask several times to get the bread and the order despite they told us that they're were gonna bring it to the table. It's THE place to get a kebab in north London!!

Tried it today. Had the beef donner, though its most likely veal. Not cheap, £7.50 for large which includes bread & salad. 50p cheaper without salad, didn't think salad should make a price difference. The bread is traditional Turkish bread you can get from the Turkish bakeries on Green Lanes. Salad is very good, includes gherkins & jalapeños. Texture of the meat was solid, cooked well, cut not too thin, thick enough the way I like it. Would recommend it, but I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, as I know there exists people that prefer lamb instead of beef. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 because of the fact that salad is monetized despite presented beautifully, and that makes me feel they lose a point for it.

We enjoyed the night out concluding the meal at Doner Daddy from recommendation by a friend. 👨🏽‍🍳The customer service is excellent as we all agreed. It seems they're active on social media which is a plus since it shows they care about their customers and like to engage with them in the long-term. 🛋️The decor was good and the seating comfortable. Some of them high chairs, however, they're cushioned. ⏱️Serving time you can expect wait time of about 20 minutes at an average busy one-after-another customer queuing: 23:54 receipt stamped time to 00:15 platter for 3 on the table. 🧼Noticed the hygiene practice by the chefs are good. Perhaps a clear physical demarcation of management and chef in uniform within food area be a good idea? 🍖🌮🌯🥙🥗The food was good and well portioned for three people as it is in line with Turkish eateries. 🍽️🍴Would've preferred plates rather than paper ones which got wet and damp as we were half way through eating. Served generous portion of salad, flat bread which was leathery as we took the first bite as soon we received it on the table. We were given tap water when requested. 💷 Price was moderate for meals in that part of the area of London. 🚻🚾💦The WC was clean and well stocked especially in these times of toilet roll scarcity. Preferably for the Muslims and other customers they could keep a portable bidet, water can, lota or bodna as well? Liked the fact they had two separate lavatories. They're both in the basement for those with mobility issues and need use of WC. Summary As extras we received the usual generous 🥗 salad and flat 🍞 bread. We were provided extras in replacement of shortage of some food items in the platter. However, missing was complementary Turkish tea or dessert that we are used to in local Turkish restaurants. They also offer tap water all of which were served with delight reflecting the excellent service and quality of main dish. ❌ Plates and cutlery missing in the service, instead disposable ones were used. ✅ Excellent customer service, diplomatic even with difficult ones taking place at the till as we enjoyed our meal. Extra food in place of shortage of some food.

Been a local to the area forever and this place replaced the iconic kebab delight. Kebab delight used to be the best place around for kebab but unfortunately over the years the standards dropped. I have tried doner daddy twice now and I’m glad to say that this place has brought the standards back up. Chicken doner is fantastic. Beef is new and different, thumbs up. Please please keep the standard high and become the new place to go in Wood Green!

Decent doner and big portions! Nice touch with the salad, olives and bit of bread too! The rice is diffrent too has some veg bits in it. Customer service needs improving I opted to eat in ordered at the till, my order took 25mins and I had to remind them twice what my order was. Also when you order at the till they should explain your number will be called out as customers assume it will be brought to them and when you eat in do you get the glass bottle coke or can ? Is also confusing. Apart from that decent meal.

I have been eating Doner Kebabs from take away shops for over 30 years Some people call me a Doner Kebab connoisseur, After Visiting Doner Daddy for the first time I can honestly say that there Beef Doner was one the best Doner kebab meats I have had in my life, the quality was lovely Some Kebabs are very Oily and are made of poor quality meat Doner Daddy’s Meat is exceptional quality and the taste is amazing,, also great tasting chilli sauce and garlic sauce complement the taste of your Doner, I returned back to the shop after a week for another helping as I it’s very difficult to find any kebab shops that come close to the taste of Doner Daddy.
