Reviews of Ergon Deli
S. M.
Very cozy place, perfect for brunch on the week end.
Tried their specialty poached eggs with sesame bagel and it was super yummy, would recommend.
Their smoothies are also refreshing and light

Nice Greek food and great service. I like this place; it supports handcrafters and homemade producers such as individuals and families. The place has two indoor seating areas, and both are so nice.
J. H.
Ordered the poached egg on bagel, which seems to be the popular dish here. Well, it looks nice. For the flavour, it may not fit everyone, like the oiled yogurt. Service needs some improvement but not as bad as described in other comments here.
P.
A Greek place with a fair variety of food options to choose from. I had Koulouri topped with Greek yogurt, runny pouched eggs, and spicy oil - proportions well balanced and seasoned. I complemented this dish with Freddo cappuccino which was served in a small cup with too much ice therefore not much amount of coffee. The service needs a bit of improvement, a bit slow.

A nice breakfast spot. They have variety of options for breakfast and brunch.
We went for avocado toast with Turki they have a lot of cheddar cheese on it. It was OK. Also we had the pancakes with yogurt. It was nice but very heavy.
They have 2 stores next to each other both with plenty of tables.
I would not come again.

I want to give this place 5 stars. I really do. The decor is lovely, it’s bustling and the desserts on the counter look delicious.
But. But. I judge a lot of places as a solo eater. On Saturday right before noon, I was seated right away next to someone at the window, which was an advantage when there was a waiting list. And then I waited. And waited again and some more. That’s where I notice the difference big time between a solo eater and 2+ more people who are being served. Finally a waitress approached me after about 15 minutes. I had to wait another 15 min to order from the lunch menu so I got the spinach and feta cheese pie to start. It’s a decent portion and quite juicy in terms of feta and spinach worth the perfect amount of flaky crust. That was the best part.
I also had the shrimp sagakanki and fava bean falafels for takeaway, without rice. At £11 each, there are incredibly measly portions of shrimp and red pepper spre ad for the former and a couple of falafels for the latter. This means if I would have gotten it with rice, that would have been half the bowl. Also the shrimp were the teeny tiny ones you can buy at Poundland. For £11 I expected juicier, bigger prawns. The falafels were indeed flavourful but again, only half the bowl is filled with no rice.
I know this place is hopping but with the overwhelmed service staff and uneven food, I won’t be returning.

Real nice Greek brunch!
Pancakes with berries and yogurt were awesome. It’s not too sweet and HUGE!
It’d be better to share.
And the avocado toast just couldn’t go wrong.
L. S.
Had a feta sandwich for takeaway for lunch. The sandwich was good but nothing special. The place looks nice and staff were friendly. Will go back to try their eggs dishes.
J. H.
Really delicious Greek breakfast options with freshly baked pide. Beautifully done up with a mixed retail space next door as well.
H. A.
The breakfast is great and they have a lot of options but it was too crowded and a bit slo services
A. A.
Exquisite Thai food, probably some of the best I've had in London. The sea bass was definitely a highlight, and it was great to see authentic dishes that you don't get everywhere, such as Thai omelettes and the Thai ice tea. Excellent service throughout the meal.
R. A.
I came here for my birthday pre-covid and we enjoyed a nice breakfast. I had the simit/bagel with poached egg and chilli oil and it was so flipping good! Can’t wait to come back once everything is back to normal.
Edit: First time back since my first visit. Unfortunately, they couldn’t accommodate my request to substitute the bagel for mushrooms which I don’t really understand. I ended up getting the Greek omelette and a side of salmon. It was really good and I would definitely get it again.
However, I did learn the the sujuk and Turkey are not halal. No meat on the premises is. I’m only surprised because so many Muslims come here. So, for those wondering, don’t order those.
M. D.
Reading the reviews, most of them are about poor service. I have to say, from multiple visits, they have most definitely improved. The service is great now so don't let the poor rating turn you away. The food here is lovely and authentic!
T. A.
Yogurt and granola pancakes is a must, but the poached eggs on sesame bagel used to be better💔
S. A. S.
Great food, wide selection, often gets busy.
L. C.
Lovely deli with great food and friendly staffs
C. L.
Tried the signature pretzel and pancake. Pretzel itself tastes good, warm and soft. But the sauce was a little sour, eggs were gooey but tasted plain. I know someone might like it, so I guess it’s just not for me.
The pancake is simply too sweet (I have a sweet tooth), it would be better if honey is put in a separate pot, so that customer can adjust amount depending on individual taste.
G. A.
Very delicious koulouri and long black coffee...
H. A.
Excellent food and great service. Very friendly chef and restaurant manager Vrasidas. He always looks after the customers and pays attention to detail. I will definitely go back.
T. G.
Had to visit Ergon to try out the legendary pancakes, which were nice but a little too sweet for me and my preferred savoury tastes. Amazing coffee served with generous amounts of OAT milk, great for vegan or vegetarians.
J. S.
Food is great but the customer service is rubbish… we asked for Chilli flakes on top of eggs and they could not do it… then we ordered 2 glasses of juice and they came In different sizes and said that it’s normal to not get the same amount each time.
No flexibility at all from the staff when you are spending quite a bit on the food
A. S.
Best breakfast spot so far
A must visit in London
Loved the avocado with cherry tomatoes and shakshuka 🤤
M. A.
All time favourite ( poached eggs on Kouluori with yogurt + spicy oil ) 👌🏼
S. G.
I’ve been here twice: first experience was positive - everything was on point in terms of food and service. I remember we tried items from their all day brunch menu as well as their meze selection, which left us feeling satisfied with our experience at Ergon Deli. However, the second time I went the pancakes were disappointing; they tasted like flour! it was a shame really since I had their pancakes during my first visit and I absolutely loved them. Having said that, their egg dishes are still really good especially their croque-madame which is a new addition to their all day brunch menu. So go for the egg dishes but maybe avoid the pancakes 💁🏻♀️
m. k.
One of my favourite places in london to have a brunch .the food taste amazing . Service is really good .I enjoy every bite I have from my dish .
The place is busy and you need to leave your name on the waiting list and they will send you a massage when it's ready but this is normal in any place serve really good food I am happy for them. they deserve to be busy and it worth to wait .
It's not my first time there and I will come again and again .
A. A.
Great and cozy place for breakfast and coffee and sweets.
K. A.
Great breakfast place with good coffee to match. It’s usually busy and they dont take reservations but the food is good.
The mozarella pita was delicious but got way too soggy quickly.
The bagel and poached eggs and the halloumi flat bread pastries where insanely good.
I wish they would take reservations even if they will never keep them for more than 5 minutes. This way you can have a much pleasant dining experience without worrying about standing in line or having a table you dont like.
W. K.
The special dish is really delicious 🤤 absolutely one of the best places in London. I had the luck to meet my friend on the third day of my trip to the UK. It gave me a better idea of what London cafes and restaurants are about (everybody told me how bad the food was). I wanna go there again.
J. L.
The bagel was really good. Very good quality food. First come first serve basis so you might struggle to find a empty table during peak hours. Very well located and staff is friendly.
E.
Best restaurant for breakfast, highly recommended
M. Y.
Great coffee and great food. Loved it!
S. K.
Just amazing! The quality and the taste of the food is Excellent! The portions are really good, not very big but, compared to what is usually being offered in London, the portions are quite good. The atmosphere is also really nice, chilling and relaxing. Stuff is also great. If you want to eat really good quality food then you must visit this place. + the yogurt pancake here is the BEST and I mean THE BEST pancake ever...
R. B. F.
Nice Greek deli. Clean, tasty food. No bookings, only walk in, in the morning busy, put your name in the waiting list. It should get 5 star not 4, but the space and seating made me not.
A. A.
Tasty and delicious breakfast 🥞
K. N.
Great breakfast and location. Small seating area with with waiting list so try to be there as early as you can in the morning.
Enjoy 👍🏼
Y. S.
Nice break after shopping. Don’t miss the top3 recommend!
S. A.
Its a small place but so crowded you better go there early in the morning for breakfast, The poached egg on bagle is so good & its the best !
try also their chocolate pancakes it taste like kinder chocolate ♥️ The coffee was not bad but the rest was good.
M. A.
We reached.. it was a waiting list... about 2hrs & half.... so we listed our names and left
After 1hr & 15 min.. we have received sms informing us that our table is ready and we have 10 minutes to get back to the restaurant... thank god we were so close .. otherwise they will drop us...
The decoration is a simple
The service was fast
I’ve enjoyed having the pouched eggs with avocado more
R. H.
Food is excellent, simple, fresh, tasty, and direct to the point. Try the Tuna, eggs and avocado sandwich, highly recommended. Service is ordinary and laid back, what you expect from a Café, nothing fancy-schmancy.
R. K.
If you're bored of another brunch consisted of eggs Benedict then Ergon is the place to go. I highly recommend going for one of the 'Peinirli' and of course accompany it with a nice freddo.
The place is cozy, the delicacies are simply amazing and the staff is friendly.
M. Z.
Food is delicious! Totally recommend the pancakes baklava and of course the peinirli.
Lovely staff as well
E. W.
Delicious breakfast, if you love a different kind of breakfast, can't recommend it enough.
Thought truth be told, the French waitress could hardly have more contempt for the customers.... Still not sure if that adds to the charm or not.
M. V. C.
Fantastic place for brunch in the city centre. Certainly will come back. The coffee and the food were excellent.
M. A.
Its good place to have breakfast but I wish they add feta cheese instead of cheddar cheese on avocado toast,, I like the pancakes with yogurt,, they have their own products like jam and olive oil
N. A.
Great food, amazing environment, really enjoyed and will definitely go back!!!
A. A.
Great ambiance and fantastic food. Make sure to get there early especially on the weekend as the waiting list can be very long.
F.
Ergon Coffee it is a very nice place to enjoy breakfast , sweet and savory. Big Menu , very creamy Coffees. I had the best Pancakes ever , I suggest to Shere 😉

( the kitchen it's a little bit slowly )

Food is Amazing!!!! Luv it
Customer service is nice, the place is cozy small and so it for morning hangout.
However, it get so crowded after 10 am specially in the summer.
The bad thing about it is; the toilets it’s one toilet only for man and woman and not that clean.
But overall Luvvvv it and it was my favorite breakfast spot in London.
I. L.
Amazing food, try the bagel with the eggs, the avocado toast and the spinach pie amazing recommendations from the waiter call dimos, he was very helpful as we were first time in the place. I will definitely visit the place again
T. F.
Lovely morning place infused with sunlight coming through a glass roof. We tried poached eggs on sesame bagel, peinirli with sakshuka sauce and pancake with Greek yogurt. Peinirli is the best order in my opinion. The sesame bagel is and pancakes are good on average. They serve very good coffee.
The restaurant is normally busy, a 30 min Waite is expected.
X. S.
The taste is pretty good and the pancake is of huge size. But should wait for 30 to 45mins before noon on weekday.
K.
A good place to have a little bit rest after shopping on the regent street. Seating near the window while drinking a cup of coffee.
But for me, I think Pancake with Yogurt is too sweet to finish all of the dish. May be try another one.
O. Ş.
Delicious breakfast food
My favourite in descending order (first being the best)
1. Peinirli with shakshuka sauce
2. Beef pie (minced beef borek)
3. Poached eggs on bagel (the round bagel)
Shared everything with my wife.. we were more than full 😍
M. A.
The best Greek breakfast in London. Need a booking in advance. if not you have to expect some delay.
C. F.
Amazing breakfast place. Staff were very kind and attentive. Place is usually full. Good to reserve a table in advance.
Y. P.
What a lovely place for weekend breakfast/brunch. Interesting and yummy foods with touch of greek style. Pleasant changes from the typical brunch menus. Nice ambience and good portion for the reasonable price are also a plus. Defo will visit again 👍🏻
S. L. L.
Nice dining atmosphere and great service! Reasonable price and I do definitely recommend this place if you wanna try some authentic greek food!
C. D.
Great food, cute place, friendly staff. Greek fooled is also the best.
H. M. A. B.
One of the best breakfast here in london, Great food but it was too crowded, A bit slow service during busy weekends but the food is totally worth the wait.
T. D.
Great experience and food! Will definitely visit again :)
C. W.
Healthy breakfast & mighty pancakes w/ a very friendly service. Porched egg was on point. Will definitely come back for more.
T.
Came for a delicious Greek brunch! Not expensive for the location and quality. Got the Greek style croque madame (amazing an gruyere sauce) , and the Peinirli (like a pizza boat).
Didn't get a chance to get the Koulouri but it really looked amazing!
P. A. C.
Great food, nice place, good location and atmosphere...some staff members attitude could be vastly improved.
E. S.
Since I discovered this place I go there every morning and afternoon to get my coffee. I've also tried their various breakfast and lunch options and they're amazing. However, what I like the most is the fabulous staff, they're really friendly. In London you can get good coffee and food but in this place you also get the rocking staff!
R. T.
Very tasty coffee:) Yummy 🤤
H. S.
Lovely brunch and nice atmosphere. The pancake was really soft and tasty.
A. K.
Delicious food, we had to wait though it has a small dining area..the orange juice freshly squeezed..
The only comment was the waiter less when she made a mistake due to miscommunication was a bit rude to my father that’s why the lost a star due to disrespect!!
N. S.
Janis was so nice and funny, we really had a great time!! And the food was fantastic!!
We are definitely coming back.
A.
Great service, friendly staff and incredibly yummy pancake which I had the best in London 😳😋
BTW Eat out to help out 50% discount for dine in customers.
R. B.
Was walking around and hungry and stopped at this place. Ordered the dish with falafel, hummus and quinoa tabbouleh. The traces of hummus and tabbouleh tasted fine but when I asked for a side of either of them they didn't /couldn't have it. It was just fine, too dry to finish the entire thing. Otherwise, place was cozy and service was slow.
B.
Very nice food but limited menu, small cozy place worth to try. Didn't like the tea quality but tge food very yummy
C. Y.
Nice food, nice staff and nice deli! Will definitely go back and try more food!
F. A.
Great greek breakfast. The poached eggs with bagel and the stuffed mushrooms are excellent.
S. S.
Food was yummy the dish I ordered came with something green that was not mentioned in the menu and they happily changed it
S. M.
They don’t take reservations, walk-in only. The pancake is very soft with yoghurt, berries and syrup wrapped nuts on which creates a fantastic taste! The berries are very sweet.
R. F.
Great breakfast place loved their eggs and pancakes
F. A.
Peinirli with shahuka sauce “well done” (left) and Poached Egg on a bagel “well done” (right)
N. A.
The food was excellent, especially the pretzel eggs. However the customer service is extremely poor.
S. A.
The place is small, so it might be busy during weekends. The breakfast is AMAZING!!
N. A. Y.
Delicious greek food and unique place to have quite breakfast/brunch. The bagel was fresh 👌🏼 Also, they have variety of Mediterranean sweets and fresh spices
L. L.
Amazing bougatsa and sesame koulouri. Authentic Greek food and very friendly staff.
M.
Lovely food and atmosphere! Gets slower in service when it’s packed but is understandable.
a. a.
Wow!! An amazing deli with great blueberry muffin and pancakes! Best coffee in the area
A. A.
I only tried the eggs and tge chocolate pancakes. The eggs were superb while the pancakes were average with excessive amounts of chocolate that covers your taste buds in a bad way unfortunately. Coffee was good and service was fine.
G. A.
Fab food but staff are overwhelmed. It took ages for them to give the menu and took ages to serve the food. The owner should add more staff. Customer service is wanting primarily due to stressed out staff.
Y. Q.
Reasonably priced and amazing food
K. A. K.
Very tasty breakfast, a unique poached egg in Greek style.
T. K.
Good food, average service, crowded, no reservations, waiting for minimum 45 mins 🕰
T. B.
We found Ergon on a whim. Was absolutely delicious and the coffee was fantastic. Highly recommended.
E. S. N.
Amazing Greek deli with fantastic selection of food and pastries. It does get busy so it's best to book. I do recommend the avocado on toast!
D. T.
Great service, great food, great atmosphere.
A. L.
Today I had a flat white with oakmilk - it was great. Staff are friendly. I love this shop, they have lots of delicious cakes on display. It’s a friendly atmosphere
S.
The egg bagel and the greek pancakes were very delicious, good service
J. G.
Waited for 2:30 hours and then most of the menu items weren’t available the food I think is average, and the Resturant is overrated
F. O.
Good for brunch
They just expanded this branch and made it double capacity which is good
A. A.
Delicious breakfast
F. A.
Really tasty and unique. Make sure you book a table before coming in. Try the crepes and scrumbled eggs in the semet.
V. N.
Being a native Greek, I like Ergon and I find their products quite good and very close to the ones we have back home. I recently tried portokalopita which was delicious. It's a nice little spot to make you feel a bit homesick :)
A. A.
Nice food. Good for breakfast & Brunch
S. S.
Very polite very helpful! Amazing food and coffee ☺️😺
A. M.
the bagel is sooo delicious but you have to write your name on the waiting list and it takes 42 min to wait
A. D.
Friendly staff, good place to recharge with a nice cup of coffee after of buzy day.
A. A.
The best breakfast, service little slow but trust me the food worth it.
D. M.

Stylish place with great service. I ate the greek salad, yum!
S. M. C.
Really delicious pancakes and brunch, we have fun in here. Nice and beautiful one.
l. i.
<lovely food, but not the staff>
The food portion was huge, and so tasty! I loved their food. However, the staff seemed to have 'preferences' on their customers and she nearly kicked us out even though there weren't people queueing out or anything busy. The lady was definitely bit rude.
C. W.
Food tasty. Service good.
V. C.
Absolutely the best Greek food I've tried. They do a lot of fusion dishes and the iced coffee is a must!
A. M.
the bagel is sooo delicious but you have to write your name on the waiting list and it takes 42 min to wait
S. M.
They don’t take reservations, walk-in only. The pancake is very soft with yoghurt, berries and syrup wrapped nuts on which creates a fantastic taste! The berries are very sweet.

Good brunch fare with interesting bread / bagel options to go with standard egg preparations
T. F.
Lovely morning place infused with sunlight coming through a glass roof. We tried poached eggs on sesame bagel, peinirli with sakshuka sauce and pancake with Greek yogurt. Peinirli is the best order in my opinion. The sesame bagel is and …
k. a.
Best breakfast in London👌🏻👌🏻
K. E.
Delicious food and the atmosphere is lovely
L.
The poached egg on sesame bagel is a must very delicious and their coffee too ( chemex 👌🏻👌🏻) but sadly, the service is terrible
A. A.
I always have breakfast. It’s really good 👍
A. B. M.
We ordered the pancakes and porridge and were not disappointed! The honey they use is delicious and you can buy it too!
B. A.
Excellent brunch abd excellent service, highly recommend!
n. k.
Everything was perfect, breakfast is so delicious 😋🤤
A. K. A.
Crowded because of the staff are focusing on managing the “waiting list” instead of serving the tables, average food when I was arguing with the staff because of the wrong order after that they said the bill “on the house”
Y. M.
Excellent for brunch, usually no waiting time, even though they only take walk-ins. Coffee is amazing.
A. V.
Nice and bright place but almost always you have to wait for a table.
T. M.
Very good taste!
H.
Great food, service very ordinary
J. R.
Amazing food , best pancakes in London or bagel with egg inside - delicious. Smoothies are the best! People are also nice , but they have to do something with booking because I have been coming there from the beginning and lately they don’t have space and what they offer is to write your name in the notebook but without the promise that you will actually get the space to sit. For waiting time of an hour is much nicer to go if you have time to other Greek place in Notting Hill- they also do delicious sandwiches- nothing that you have tried before, or cakes- much bigger choice!
R. A.
They have very delicious variety for breakfast, highly recommended
D. T.
The food is good and the staff are really nice.
M. M.
Went there on a date.
Once we arrived we were put on a 1:30 hour waiting list which was OK as you can shop around in the meantime.
When we go back they give us two seats in the middle of a ten people table filled with women who looked like they were all together. We asked to be moved and we had to wait for another 3 tables to empty until we could get one since other people knew about this table and asked not to be put on it. We would have appreciated it if they had told us in advance about this situation since they saw we were a couple. They said later that this is a special table they have to accommodate the Muslim community, I didn't really understand what they meant. If they knew people ask for their own tables they should have mentioned it.
So if u go make sure u ask in advance for your own table if that is what you would prefer!
Other than this the food is nice, I got their famous kouloyri. A bit overpriced, 11.50£.
F. W.
I have been to Ergon a few times now and kick myself every time I go. The food is great. And this is the ONLY reason I come back. However, every time I leave the place with a sour taste in my mouth because the staff are SO incredibly rude (shouting at customers and visibly rolling their eyes if a customer has a request that is slightly out of the ordinary and generally making you feel like you are lucky to be eating in their restaurant even though you are a paying customer). The only way you can make it through a meal is by pretending you are the only person in here and promising yourself that you’ll never come back, but I can guarantee you will leave feeling annoyed.
To sum up, if you love food, the food is great and this is why I come back. BUT, if you value service in the slightest do not come here as you’ll leave in a bad mood.
K. B.
Great coffee & cakes in this place. Really enjoyed my flat white today and the waiters have been friendly and attentive. The front of house is nice and clean but that can’t be said about the back area. Corridors in need of a leek of paint & toilets in need of better hygiene ( shame as it lost them a star ).
E. N.
Nice easy going place. Gets too busy on weekends especially durimg lunch time.
J. T.
Impossible to have a spontaneous breakfast there, without booking a reservation in advance (even on a Monday!) Even though, the pastries looked delicious, the interior was very trendy and the stuff seemed friendly. But when they told us, that we would have to wait 40 minutes more, we went to the next cafe spot.
M. o. S.
Great brunch place. A bit slow service during busy weekends but the food is totally worth the wait. It's a nice combination of Greek cuisine with English breakfast culture. The menu has some really outstanding options.
M. A.
Amazing brunch, Amazing staff!
s. A.
love the pancake, however because of the cafe popularity they need to expand cause i went many times and i had to wait 3-4 hours. also they dont accept advance booking. so yeah very disappointing but the pancake is everything
T. A.
Cozy .. good food .. friendly staff

Good brunch fare with interesting bread / bagel options to go with standard egg preparations

I work nearby to Ergon, and discovered this incredible Greek Cafe around 1 1/2 years ago. Put simply, it is the best coffee in London, and the food is simply brilliant. From the takeaway Greek yoghurt with berries/honey which I have almost every morning, to the bagels with poached eggs or the various pies/cakes available, nothing ever disappoints. We love the staff - Nicole in particular is a pleasure to talk to each morning as she prepares our coffees and any food we've ordered. I regularly take clients here for coffee/breakfast, and I suspect on average buy from here 2-3 times a day. Lunches are also great value and delicious with a menu that changes daily. I wish I lived in central London too, so that I could take the family here on weekends. Sadly, I am far too far out of town to make that a reality. I've suggested to them recently they should release a cook book to give people like me an opportunity to make and eat their food at home too - I would gladly pay for one of those!
I was very disappointed to see a few negative reviews here, in particular those citing the staff as lacking empathy. From my experience (and as I said, I have been visiting almost daily for a number of years now) they are excellent - Indeed a large chunk of the reason I visit so often is because of them. They clearly take great pleasure in their work, and have a great team leader in Nicole. What I would say, is this gem of a cafe is a well known secret now, especially amongst the tourists that frequent Bond Street etc, and from around 10.30am each day, it is completely filled (and there are not that many seats). If you have turned up at 11.30, with a party of 4, expecting a table within 15 minutes you WILL be disappointed. Leaving a negative review for any business because of, dare I say it, an inability to plan ahead (or perhaps not being used to having to wait in a queue) strikes me as somewhat silly. A smile goes a long way, rather than throwing one's toys out the pram (behaviour I have sadly seen in person a number of times in this delightful cafe). Despite this, the staff are constantly doing their utmost to accomodate as many customers as they can. Indeed, it is precisely because it is so excellent, that it is so busy and inevitably people are disappointed.
My advice is simple; if you want a table, arrive in plenty of time. Ideally by mid-morning (for a late breakfast). If you are unable to do this, then before you do anything else, get yourself on the waiting list (they have a very efficient system that will text you when your table is available) and go for a walk/shopping/etc until your table becomes available. Between 10.30-2.30pm or so is usually their busiest time of the day, outside of these hours it is much easier to find a table and the quality of the food doesn't change based on when you are eating!
THANK YOU to Nicole & the team for running what is, without a doubt, the BEST cafe / restaurant in London - As I've said before, there is nowhere I visit more regularly than Ergon and the quality of food/attentiveness of the staff never fails to impress.
S. A.
Love this cafe. The coffee is delicious. It’s a few minutes further than Starbucks or Pret but totally worth it. I tried the pastrami toasted sandwich today and it was really good. It had a subtle herb flavour which added to the taste.
Z. G.
Absolutely amazing greek delicacies!!! Lovely, cosy place, family atmosphere! The food made me feel I was back home... The team are adorable and the flavours unique. Brunch and lunch dishes that deserve a Michelin star (or more)!
I. g.
By far by favourite breakfast/brunch place in central London. The food is so tasty every time. The staff are great. The ambience is cute. Always coming back to this.
C. M.
Went here on a complete whim as I was in the area and was so agreeably surprised. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food. Loads of sweet & savoury options for brunch, including Baklava pancakes!
F. M.
Absolutely the best spot in London! Every time I go I have to have their Baklava pancakes. To die for!
T.
The food is nice . The service is good as well. The staff are friendly. Especially the host (Marina) she is super nice. We enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended to visit. Thanks
J. G.
Amazing food and excellent service! Loved it and highly recommend.
y. m.
The greek bagel with eggs and yogurt, just delicious. The pancakes with Greek yogurt and berries, also delicious but a little heavy. You’d really only want to eat half so definitely share it with someone. Coffee also fantastic. This will be on my rotation. Come before 11am for a nice quiet brunch.
R. S.
Seriously considering going there every day for my lunch break! Today I tried the chicken avocado sandwich and it is the best thing I have ever had! The sandwich was decent in size and I would definitely say it is value for money. The Greek coffee was amazing too!
J. D.
I can only speak for breakfast, but can say I really enjoyed their poached eggs and avocado toast, done with a lovely Greek touch. The coffee was awesome, and my colleague was guided through the customisation of his drink.
M. B.
Excellent service, great flavours
M. A.
We ordered.. egg with yogurt and avocado which is The YUMMINESS
Hazelnut pancakes average
Latte is great
There is delay a little pit in the service and you gonna be confused is it self service or not ?
But thats okay if you gonna eat something yummy at the end 🙂
H. R.
It’s definitely different in a positive way. Brunch is served all day and includes their most popular dish: poached eggs in a pepper oil dressing served with Simit (like a sesame bagel meets pretzel). They also sell food items like biscotti and condiments. Worth a visit!
S. K.
Amazing food and welcoming environment 🔝
P. G.
The food was delicious, but the service was even better! Very polite, pleasant and efficient! Definitely recommend the place.
S. I.
Very nice school clean and teacher very good
F. M.
I recommend it delicious food and good service.
k. a.
Best breakfast in London👌🏻👌🏻
E. D.
Nice food but the service is terrible . Very slow and The waitress was rude and made my friends feel uncomfortable with her attitude . Also the toilets where disgusting so dirty . Shame as I like the food and the sweets .
P. K.
Nice setting and food but. No cream with cake. Said they would heat dessert, didn't then when asked, said they couldn't! Poor service unfortunately.
A. S.
Very nice and healthy food at reasonable price. Came into here as a last option as it didn't look like a restaurant but were surprised by the quality.
C. A.
Ergon is now one of my favourite places to go and get a bite to eat. Their previous store was right in front of my office and though they have moved further away I still go all the time. Great atmosphere- the staff are so friendly and always welcoming. The food is delicious- particularly love the new brunch menu they do. The omelette sandwich is to die for! Great coffee too and love my new discovery... the Freddo Cappuccino! Greek delight.
A. K.
Nice food , but the service was 👎
R. B.
Excellent coffee and brunch 😍
T. A.
Great and tasty food that is overpriced - lunch 2 set menu worth its £10 though if you get the same menu (Have not tried it).
Bad service for a restaurant that is trying to sell a premium product. Our salad was tried to be picked up before we finish it, without asking if we have finished, and our beer was picked up again before it was fully consumed.
C. P.
Incredible place for authentic Greek dishes - perfect for sharing in a group. Always a good sign when your Greek friends recommend it. Must haves: fries with staka cream, delicious grilled calamari and the Dakos salad is heaven on a plate. Service was warm and friendly.
I. E. B.
I have been to the restaurant few times and I am sure I will return. The food was excellent! Very tasty and well presented. The service was fast and everyone was very polite.
If you like greek food this is a place that you should try!
C. W.
Food tasty. Service good.
N. S.
Place is ok but just that. Can get very busy at times so be prepared to wait. Service was a bit slow for take away, could be improved significantly. Food was not bad, but does nothing special really.
T. I. P.
This is my favorite breakfast restaurant ever! Excellent food, good coffee, nice cakes and a brilliant atmosphere.
S. N.
Love the food, place was cosy but hot in the summer not much ventilation
M. A.
Beside the odd requirements ex. Cant add a side of eggs when eggs are on the menu and eggs only being runny or well done no medium option the place was great! Worth the wait if theres a long waiting list.
D. K.
A bit pricy but the food and drinks are well-made and delicious.
D. P.
Beautiful place, Greek dishes with a modern twist! The only negative thing is the lady that supposedly helps customers. Usually, quite rude..
C. A.
Banana cake here is fantastic, and the “iced cappuccino” is great!!
T. T.
I used to go this place all the time at their location just north of Oxford Circus. Great quality for Greek pastries and good products. Excellent coffee too. Try the spanakopita or tiropita. Incredible!
I've read some comments from one Greek complaining Ergon didn't update their website and that an apology won't cut it. Another Greek complained about the price of a sandwich - if you're too cheap to pay what I would say is an average price for a sandwich or meal in central London at lunchtime, then pack a lunch bag from home. I realize Greeks created theatre but you people are being WAY too dramatic.
Anyway, try out Ergon and decide for yourself. I bet you won't be disappointed.
A. A.
Delicious breakfast but it takes too much time waiting for the food at least 40 min and I've been there 3 times and each time it took time
I. O.
I love this place. Wide varieties of cakes and I love their pies. Very popular with tourists from middle East. If you are in town do not miss this place.
S. K.
Nice food, good variety of beverages! A nice desigh and comfortable space to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine with a friend!
S. A.
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and good coffee.
I. P.
Being a Greek this place is as close as you can get to Greek food and culture. Lovely ambience with plenty of tables to sit (unlike the old Ergon Deli). Every time I'm coming to London I like to taste different things. Wish we had a place like this in Oxford as well.
Highy recommending: Fresh orange juice, Greek cream pie, croissant with turkey and gruyere cheese, and cheese pie.
E. C.
Order scrambled eggs on sourdough with avocado and bacon, received with avocado and salmon instead. But was actually really good. Coming back for sure :)
J. M.
Reluctant to review because then others will know what a gem of a place this is, just a stone's throw from busy Regents street. Go for the coffee (eg espresso freddo in summer), stay for the delicious brunch and lunch options, and the to-die-for sourdough croissants which are as about as close to the French originals as you can get in London. You'll also find some of the most incredible olives, spices and jams on the deli shelves.
t.
Best spinach and feta pie in London
B. C.
Was passing by and thought it looked OK. Prices are in keeping with the other establishments.
The quinoa, lentils and pasta salad with Feta cheese sprinkled on top was very filling.
Setting area was light and roomy.
H. W.
Loved this little Greek coffee shop a stone's throw from Oxford Street. Great hot drinks, and the baklava was divine. I'm not sure what the plural of baklava is.
N. A.
Poached eggs on sesame bagel 🥯
A.
Best breakfast place
S. S.
Good selection of hot & cold food, mainly Greek inspired, with a bright and open seating space. The price is a little too high for the portion given which could the side effect of running a shop on Regent street. Ordering a side is advised if you are feeling very hungry.
D.
I had a very delicious breakfast there. Their pancakes are fabulous, and their eggs are the best. Great flat white.
K. A. A.
Amazing please for breakfast.. we were there with group of 6.. and we ordered different dishes, all was amazing..
I strongly recommend it.
A. A. M.
Was alright, food was decent. Didn't feel like anything special or memorable. Price was fair for what was ordered.
F. A.
Great breakfast spot.
E. S.
Great selection of sandwiches and Greek pastries and delicious coffee. There is a decent sized sitting area at the rear, but self-service at the counter for drinks and food.
J. S.
Nice poached eggs with sesame bagel, don’t miss it
E. S.
Great-quality food. It became a popular place so now there’s always a long wait to eat there during the weekend.
T. A.
nice restaurant I liked the food but can be busy after few hrs of opening. Good choice and a good place to try near Regent street.
S. S.

S. O.
Excellent for a morning coffee and greek eggs. Love this place actually. Such a nice spot for being so close to Oxford Circus. Highly recommend it
A. C.
For me the best Greek coffee shop in London! Greek pastries and delicacies along with coffee from Taf Athens, create a really nice and cosy atmosphere in central London! Will certainly come back!
N. I.
Nice Greek coffee and kataifi. Reasonably priced for the area. Various fellow Greeks commenting about the price need to consider Athens real estate prices compared to London.
S. A.
My favorite breakfast spot in London
S. A.
The scrambled eggs was great
A. G.
Excellent place. Delicious brunch, a variety of choices, good quality and very nice cold Greek coffee.

A. A. I.
Wonderful environment, friendly staff, and great food! I've been here many times and enjoy going to study and have a coffee and some awesome Greek food!
A. W.
The worst service ever. Good is good but expect to wait a long time to order, then get the bill or even to get a coffee. They need to get more people working.
C. R.
Fantastic Menu - Very Tasty - Service Good - Highly Recommend.
A. P.
Tucked in between the high class Louie vutton and Prada stores is this perfectly balanced cafe of Greek Paradise. Great ambiance, and even better traditional food
