Reviews of Farzi Cafe

Loved every single moment at this restaurant. Good recommendations, nice service, delicious reinvented Indian food, nice atmosphere, located in the center, few meters from Piccadilly circus 💫 + the meat is halal! And they serve mocktails (free alcohol drinks)
C. L.
We had a great time! The cocktails, starters and mains were fantastic! We felt like the desserts were not quite the same standard. I would still recommend this place, great value and very convenient before the theatre.

We went the 1st weekend after restaurants opened in May after lockdown. I think
Farzi was still struggling to find its feet after long Covid break. Our food was avg and did not feel like a birthday brunch. I hope it was a one off and they have gotten better now.
My fav dish was lamb chops, it was top notch and the winner of the day. Dessert was avg nothing stood out for me with the air cheesecake or pistachio milk cake.
Updated 20th Aug- I was invited by Arnaud to come back and try their food again and give it another chance. I must say that this time food was top notch. All dishes were on point. Guntur chilli chicken was amazing and amount mains shawarma pulav was great but winner was wagyu beef but just too good. One of the best Indian beef dishes I’ve had in London.
Based on my last experience I would say my initial experience would have been a one off. Farzi takes its food seriously and goes above and beyond to make their customers happy.

Innovative/creative take on Indian food! The lamb chops and the prawn koliwada are delicious. The mains were alright, nothing memorable. Service was alright as well - they were a bit inflexible about portions, had to be reminded about giving us water/drinks, and forgot to serve us a dish entirely (while charging us for it, which we were able to fix thanks to our sweet server).

Great fancy cocktails. A bit pricey but worth the experience. Very nice and spicy Indian food customized as per your taste. Worth visiting.

Engji Cafe!!
I have Been to all the best restaurants & cocktail bar’s. But never met someone who’s passionate & knowledgeable as Engji. Amazing cocktails & very creative.
Juna & Samarpreet were really attentive and great host.
Farzi is lucky to have such a great team.
Amazing food and desserts by Executive chef Nikhil.
Will definitely come back & recommend this place.

Incredible amazing experience. Will definitely return. This was much better than dishoom in both quality flavour and service - all outstanding. Real compliments to the whole team.
A group of 6 young professionals with fine dining experience came to dine on friday at 12 PM. It was raining outside and we arrived 30 mins early. The lovely manager invited us to take a seat and we enjoyed masala chai whilst waiting for the rest of our group. The waiters were swift at providing tap water for us and informed of us of the fresh spring lamb and wagyu that the kitchen had. We went ahead and ordered the chicken tikka, wagyu boti, biryani, nan, nihari. The food came out within 15 minutes. All at the same time. The lamb chops were the highlight! The meat was pink in the middle, perfectly cooked, spiced delicately. We were informed the chefs (4) are from michelin star restaurants and we firmly believe it. Hats off to you guys.
This was the best dining experience we have all experienced. The food all came out piping hot and you could tell from the rice to the nan everything was made perfectly. I’m still in awe of the meal as I write this. Toilets were immaculate and the decor ambiance and music very relaxing. I normally don’t write essays for reviews but this place blew me away. They offered NHS discount and the total bill we were all surprised came to around £30 per person. For the location, food, vibe, smiling service, I was very happy. Thank you to all the team and the very special manager Arno.

It’s a nice restaurant serving good modern-Indian food. I must say their presentation is… fancy.
I would definitely recommend their chaap and momos. Also, the ‘makhani’ gravy was incredible.

I loved my first experience here. Friendly, and the food is so flavourful.
We tried the butter chicken bao (sliders), wagyu boyi kebab, lamb chops, Guntur chilly chicken. Bread basket and nihari. All except the nihari was Uber flavoured, however though the nihari was amazing it lacked a bit of a kick to it.
We were so stuffed that I had to skip dessert. Yes. It's not usual for me to do that!

I would definitely not recommend at all. The restaurant has marketed themselves as high end but it is far from this. The food is extremely overpriced for what it is, small portions and the rating reflects the taste of the food. Not even one dish was nice enough that we completely finished it. The drinks were way too strong which did not compliment the food at all and had to be sent back to be blended better and actually drinkable - it was sent back just as strong and we just ended up ordering new drinks. The prawns were probably some of the worst I've tasted, and the lamb shank nihari wasn't even touched. The restaurant was nice enough to take that item off the bill as it was untouched however none of the food was particularly great. The rest was eatable and the butter chicken bun was actually probably the best dish we tried but I truly believe , if you are charging premium prices and promoting yourself as high end, then the food should reflect that. I have paid similar amounts at other restaurant but the food was worthy of the price. We went for my birthday which made it even more disappointing as we had waited along time before managing to get a booking here and were looking forward to it alot. Although we didn't expect to have anything special for my birthday, it would have been nice to be wished by the waitors. Just a small thing that has happened at all our anniversary dinners or birthday dinners that help make the day more special. Maybe the rating is a little harsh and they had a particularly bad day, but for 280 pounds for 4 people, I just expected more.

First thing that hit me was the interior design. Absolutely beautiful with great lighting. Accidentally designed for a great evening. Not too far from Piccadilly Circus underground station. As we sat down we were offered the the menu, We were first given chicken tikka bao. They were nice but nothing to brag about. Then came the Chicken tikka platter pate, that was possibly the best chicken tikka I’ve ever had. Soon after came the Wagyu Boti, Chicken tikka biryani and Chicken tikka masala (surprised at how many chicken tikka dishes they had). Right, Wagyu boti… erm it was okay I guess. Honestly Ive had better elsewhere. I just didn’t understand why the marination required such a expensive cut when an ordinary cut would’ve sufficed. Chicken Tikka Biryani was nothing special, pretty ordinary and Chicken Tikka masala.. even though had great texture and flavours. It was extremely heavy. Especially with the naans. Desserts however Was absolutely mind blowing. Like I was absolutely amazed at the quality and taste of it. As a customer I would definitely visit again. Not as often due to the price but definitely one off.

Consistently amazing food. Great twist on traditional Indian cuisine. Flavours are mouth Watering, delicious, juicy, scrumptious! Have tried pretty much the entire menu and everything is consistently amazing. Venue is also very nice with warm decor. Staff are also great, very friendly, warm and welcoming. A must visit! Recommended 🧡🥰

Was soo excited to come here but the food was let me down 😔. The tacos were the only good thing - the main dishes were not tasty at all.

This is our 3rd visit to this place but today was not like the 1st and 2nd time. Food was ok nothing like before. The menu has changed. Service was good. Even the drinks glasses have changed. Spent 200.00 but to be honest didn't feel like we had 200 worth. We went to celebrate my boys 16th and 13th birthday milestone and although the lady who greeted us acknowledged it I felt like they could have done abit more to help us mark the occasion at their restaurant.
We got there 30 mins before the booking time but then when sat down we was told that they had another booking at 745/8pm therefore had we got their at the original booking time of 615 we would in effect only have 1.5 hrs to eat our meal. Was taken back by this to be honest.
Don't feel like we will be going back again which is such a shame.
A.
Food was delicious and full of different and unusual flavours. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Atmosphere was perfect for an evening meal. They had Sangiovese by the glass...massive plus! Pretty pricey...but then again, quality isn't always cheap; especially when it boasts a very central London location. I will be going back and thank you for a wonderful evening.x
m. s.
Drinks are fab!!probably need some improvements in their blue corn taco as it was quite hard to eat and feels like you eat paper but pulled goat topping was great.
A. A. H.
Went to Farzi cafe for anniversary dinner with my partner and the food was mind blowing, staff were Absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was cosy. Denzil who was looking after us did a fab job!!! We will definitely be back. Thank u soo much for making our anniversary memorable
s.
Great experience, booked for group of 7 and we had a private room which was lovely! Nick who served was was amazing and attentive. Food was good just the Lamb Shank Vindaloo could have done with a bit more kick and flavour that I was expecting.
V. J.
Superb. Too good. Out of the world. This food here is so tasty and the ambience is excellent. Even brought out a special made cake for the person whose birthday it was. Easy access - loads of parking. Presentation techniques are very different. Unique.
S. I.
An absolutely incredible evening eating the best Indian food we've ever had. Chef Nikhil's take on contemporary Indian food was Michelin star standard. Every dish we ordered was faultless, and the wonderful food was accompanied by fantastic service. Definitely a must visit!
A. J.
Absolutely loved the food and loved the staff even more! Very warm and welcoming. Made my family feel very comfortable who were visiting London for the first time. Whenever someone makes some "twists" on Indian food, I am a bit skeptical. But the chef here has got it spot on! Only suggestion would be to add chai to your tea menu please :)
M. P.
Pleasantly looked forward to this due to strong recommendations from friends.
We were warmly welcomed despite arriving half an hour early. Initially service was good but things slightly slipped after that. Overall okay service.
Butter chicken bao buns were good but nothing special or particularly different I've had at other restaurants for a better price as well. The same went for the chicken tikka masala and slow cooked lamb.
Wagyu Kebab was beautifully cooked, packed flavour and still let the quality and taste of the meat shine through.
Goat Biryani was aesthetically ingenious and had plenty of instagram appeal however the dish was way too salty to the point it wasn't enjoyable.
Honestly thought the overall experience was mediocre for the price paid.
S. B.
I came here with 4 friends, we all had a good time. The food was top quality and the restaurant itself is very chic, especially in the evening. I got the lamb biryani which was presented so uniquely! Highly recommend.
M. J.
Fabulous modern take on Indian food. Everything was delicious, but I can highly recommend the avocado waffle and the venison. Friendly and attentive staff. Not a cheap night out but worth it.

We visited for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. We arrived before 6pm, but the place was already semi full, with a nice buzzy atmosphere. It is a very large venue split over 2 floors, and we were seated downstairs.
We didn’t have the best of starts, as we were given a table which was far too small for 4 people, and my request to the hostess to instead seat us at any one of the three much larger vacant 4-seater tables downstairs was met with a uninterested shrug of the shoulders. When I persisted she said she would check and get back to me. She never did.
Anyways, on to the food which was actually quite good. They do have a kids menu, from which we ordered the butter chicken and paneer for our two kids. Myself and my wife tried the tikka masala, wagyu kebab, dhal makhani and some naans, followed by the chocolate and pistachio desserts. We enjoyed pretty much all the items we tried, although just as predicted it was a constant juggle trying to squeeze all the items onto our tiny table.
Apart from the frosty welcome, service was pretty efficient and our waitress seemed friendly enough. We paid £188 for our meal, of which £72 was spent on drinks. Within reason given the venue, although the drinks prices were a bit steep. We did enjoy our meal on the whole, but for such a large venue with plenty of open space I was a bit perplexed about why some tables would be half the size of others (seemed to be the case upstairs as well). It gets a 4 star rating for the food and service, minus 1 star for the table situation and the unfriendly hostess.

Went there for to treat my missus for her birthday. We had a 3 course meal for a sunday brunch. The food was amazing, especially the chops.
They even gave us a small cake to round up her birthday. Meal was superb and would go there again.
A. H.
Amazing brunch experience. Lovely staff, the manager was very attentive and present throughout. Great selection of dishes at the premium cocktail choices are delicious. Couldn’t recommend this place it more. A true hidden gem
O. K.
Awesome food. Prices are steep but worth going to celebrate for a special occasion. Minimum spend of £50 per person to properly enjoy the food. Your Mrs will love it so don't be stush
S.
Delicious food and great service. Portions are great!
S. I.
Lovely evening. Decor and atmosphere was perfect. A very busy restaurant, the busy you can enjoy.
The food was really good, Indian theme but a lot of focus on the ingredients being used to enhance the flavours. The presentation was very fine diningesque. The smaller plates were very fun to try so would recommend getting as many as one can fit!
A very good evening!

I love this place. The staff are really lovely. The cocktails are imaginative and well crafted. We had a meal tonight & while it was quite expensive, it felt good value because everything was delicious and beautifully served. Thankyou.
H. K.
Everything about this place was just amazing from the decor, to the service, to the drinks and food. You can tell a lot of effort is put into the food as everything was 10/10 will definitely be coming back. Would definitely recommend to try the butter chicken bao.
K. I. D.
Good food and excellent service.
Nice ambient

BEST INDIAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD. I didn't think that butter chicken and chicken tikka masala could taste better, but this place did it! The chicken is cooked in a way that melts in your mouth and the sauces are perfectly spiced. The bartender manager is also incredible, his cocktails are unique and he's clearly very passionate about what he does.
T. J.
Its my second time here and i can honestly say its one of the best Indian food i have ever had! Everything was so incredibly well balanced and delicious! I just wish the portion sizes were bigger as with each plate, i was left wanting more because it was all just so good!
Y. S.
Excellent food and ambience, good service! The best of Mumbai's star dishes with a contemporary twist
Popped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.
We began with the avocado chaat, tandoori chicken chops, butter chicken bao and sweet potato bun for starters. All four dishes were great and well presented.
Cocktails were excellent
We had a chicken biryani for mains which was alright however the mustard salmon WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! Cooked to perfection and served with ultra delicious chutneys. The dal and rice arancini was a delicious.
We were on a food high and were afraid of an anti climax and hence skipped dessert.
The concept of mod sized portions was well understood in a fine restaurant like this and was well explained by the service staff however it looked odd being served in such large plates.
Farzi cafe London lived up to my expectations especially as we had previously visited the chain's restaurants in Mumbai and Dubai.
Y. A.
A good and modern Indian restaurant. The atmosphere inside is very good. The menu has many options and the taste and flavors are nice. The service is also great and staff are friendly. I have ordered few dishes and a couple were a little spicy. I don't like spicy food in general but they changed the dishes and offered me to change the order if I wish. The manager even came and checked himself if I'm satisfied or not. Wonderful place!
T. D.
Drink to food was perfect. It's wonderful modern fusion Indian cuisine. Love the chicken bao, mushroom curry. Lamb chop was divined, well cooked. The cocktails list are hype and cool with all the Zodiac sign name. Nice music and fun vibe. Good for casual fun day.

Excellent place for dine or lunch. Amazing taste of fusion food. Really delicious n tasty food. Even food is asian but the way they cooked or served is more interesting. Staff is cool n service well all time u there. Have big bar in middle of hall with variety of drinks. Beautiful atmosphere. Me and my love had superb time there. Thanks to everyone who served us. We must b back soon
E. T.
Modern British Indian cuisine, with a bit of Middle Eastern influence. A comprehensive menu designed for sharing. 4 of us had 6 dishes and most were enjoyable. Our 4 main dishes all came at once which means food got cold quickly, partly because of where we were seated with a constant draft coming from somewhere. Service is ok, waitress seemed impatient when explaining the menu and taking our order. Drinks order was very slow, arrived after we finished our starters. Improvement needed.
S. K.
The food was quite good. Especially the starters. The menu is not too expansive though. Rather costly. The service was good too. And the manager was a very friendly lady.
I.
Food took ages to arrive but it was worth the wait! Everything tasted goooood!! Also I would recommend ordering 2 mains if you're hungry as the portion sizes are quite small
B. I.
An amazing evening from start to finish. We told them we were fasting and they were considerate and bought out dates and water for us and ensured our food arrived after the fast opened.
The food was delicious- the meat was melt in your mouth tender and the flavour combinations were delightful.
I especially recommend the shwarma biryani and maple glazed lamb chops.
Great, buzzing atmosphere. Impeccable service. Can't wait to go back!
S. Y.
Very memorable food. It is south asian with an unusual edge. There was the chaat type avocado. The potato mash type thing had us ahhing, There was a great mushroom dish. The excellent wagyu beef. The biryani came steamed with a pastry lid. The butter chicken was also excellent.
The deserts were delicious and beautifully presented. A marshmallow ras malai.

Exactly what London fine dining needed!
We had heard good reviews about this new upscale bar/restaurant and their experimental Indian food concept and decided to try it out for ourselves. Wow, what a positive multisensory experience! We were absolutely blown away with the variety of mouth watering dishes, all with unique flavours. We could taste the freshness of every ingredient! Farzi Cafe is a unique addition to wining and dining in London.
My wife and I visited Farzi Cafe on New Year's Eve as we wanted to have some drinks and a nice meal before going to watch the London Eye fireworks. The location of this restaurant was perfect as it's a few minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus and other London attractions.
We started off the evening by having a drink in their luxurious, cozy bar area. The restaurant prides itself on it's range of signature cocktails. Everything from the fabulous cocktails, ambience setting, friendly bar staff and exuberant mixologists were fabulous!
After finishing our drinks, the well spoken hostess introduced herself and seated us at our table for the evening. As it was New Year's Eve, the restaurant had a set menu. We were then greeted by another member of their friendly team who took their time to carefully explain every item on the menu. This was very helpful as the restaurant is known for their experimental food by adding their unique twists to classic dishes.
As vegetarians we were very surprised with the sheer number of items on the menu. Our journey through this flavoursome menu, the presentation and the experience of waiters dribbling sauces around the food while serving was a sensory experience!
We really loved everything from the new concept, lovely cocktails, unique experimental food, beautiful décor, warm atmosphere and fantastic service! We felt the entire experience was worthy of a review.
If you're bored of trying the usual normal dishes, we would thoroughly recommend Farzi Cafe in London Haymarket.
This was a perfect fix for our taste buds and look forward to our next visit!

Had a quick lunch here in a bit of a hurry as we were catching a train. Would have stayed longer as the food is absolutely delicious and the service was top drawer. laid back, great atmosphere dinner.
C. K.
We had dinner here and ordered a number of dishes. Most of them were very good but I think the wagu kebab, venison curry and sharwma biryani deserve a special mention. The service was really excellent as this was a special occasion for the family. Overall a very good experience.
B. B.
Good food but mediocre service.
I admit that I am a difficult customer to start with but if I have taken the time to book and reconfirm and arrive in time why are you giving me the worst table in the restaurant? Yes, you know, the one next to the door on a chilli night. Can we please change table? Sure! Let me sit you right next to the kitchen pass so you can see the waiter station and the kitchen? Just a suggestion, your restaurant is empty, give out a better table! Third time lucky! look! We have a whole room full of empty tables! Cool, we sat. 15 minutes for someone to approach us for drinks. We place the order. I have ordered the dish, I do not need a lesson on what it is. I have already ordered it and truly I read the menu!
The chicken chops is served and is fairly raw. We send it back only to be told by who appear to be a supervisor that the chef said we serve our chicken medium rare. Are you kidding me? I have been in this industry for 30 years and you serve your chicken medium rare? How many people are you planning to kill tonight?
The paneer popcorn was delicious, so was the rest of the food. The daal, the aubergine, chicken tikka (fully cooked!) and the naan bread all good. Service was a disgrace, the waiter never came back to refill drinks, nor to check on us.
Prices are expensive so I would expect better service.
What a shame.
B. O.
The food here excels; a modern twist on Indian and British classics. The kitchen is clearly highly skilled and portions are on the large side. Service is very friendly and attentive and there is a nice bar. Overall has the feeling of an upscale Los Angeles restaurant. The most compelling reason to come though is for the wonderful food.
M. S.
The food was incredible and the atmosphere was so nice. Decent cocktails, friendly staff

Visited this place three times during the moment of June.
Amazing food, amazing service, and on two of the occasions, the floor manager, Juni has been wonderful. Trust her in picking your food and drinks for you, you won’t be disappointed. She keeps the order very realistic.
On one visit Wednesday 16 June, we were served by a male floor manager. He was of Indian origin (as he spoke fluent Hindi with us) and has a wonderfully larger than life personality, (forgive me, I forget his name).
Just take extra care of him, as we tried to order spirits in single measures, however he objected and said “it’s a new law, all drinks are served in doubles” and refused to take our single shot order.
Now I have been a alcohol licence holder for 10 years while I have run my own restaurant, and quite frankly, it’s easy to spot an “up-sell”.
To prevent any embarrassment in front of my guests we choose to order doubles, and the bill quite nicely reflected this “new formed drinking law”.
Over Farzi cafe is a beautiful place, and you cannot go wrong here.
S. A.
Went on a Sunday so there was free parking right opposite the restaurant. Check signs before you park. Really nice deco. Starters were really nice and wasnt too fond of the mains. Abit expensive. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere
M. D.
What a fantastic evening we have just had here . We are visiting from York and this restaurant was recommended to us .
The service was brill and the food outstanding , beautiful flavours and the waiter who served us guided us through the menu . Didn't get his name but he was brilliant .
Would definately recommend and revisit when in London again .
J. P.
This was a cracking meal taste wise. I have to say the only criticism is portion size and cost. The gluten free menu is extensive and the options go far beyond the normal Indian food experience. Overall we had a great time from both the food, drinks and friendly staff.
While the location and decor might make you think pretentiosnous, the staff were all lovely and there was not a pretentious atmosphere.
Order the tandoori goat if you visit. It was out and out the best thing on the menu!!
N. M.
We booked and went for our Anniversary dinner, service is good place is good, We like the staters and drink, didn’t like the main at all. We had Nihari, which is no way nearer the taste of Nihari. Normally this kind of restaurant when you mentioned them it’s birthday, anniversary or any kind of celebration they bring at the end complementary a piece of cheese or cupcake candle on and wish the customer. Even I remember one restaurant they bring candle on top of kheer( rice pudding) and wish.
Last not least overly priced. I paid less at Mayfair on my last anniversary.
S. M.
Excellent addition to London's ever evolving Indian restaurant scene. Ambience is upmarket but not stuffy. When we went, the playlist was upbeat and an opener for a fun night out with friends. Every single dish that we had was uniquely progressive Indian. Favourites are the Daal chawal arancini, avocado chaat, the morel risotto, the baingan bharta, herb crusted paneer tikka..oh and definitely save room for dessert! Fantastic innovative cocktails too.
h.
Came for our anniversary dinner on a Saturday evening. We were given a table in the middle, which felt really crowded and waiters were constantly walking past. Food was good and arrived really quickly, everything had so much flavour. The place was really busy and staff looked flustered. The music is very loud and the lights are so dim, I think they need to decide if it's a bar or a restaurant.
At the end they brought us a surprise dessert which was a really thoughtful touch. Overall service was very good. I'd come again.
M. S.
Went here tonight for the first time with some friends. The food is okay. We got peppered prawns, pani puri and chicken tikka to start. The chicken tikka has a paste that come m&s wirh it that is very hot so be warned.
I got the lamb chops for main. Disappointed that they were drenched in what tasted like a tamarind sauce.
This place is also really pricey. I left still feeling hungry yet the three of us paid £177 with only one soft drink each (No alcohol). There are definitely better places and cheaper ones. Probably won't be rushing back anytime soon.
V. M.
Decent place but lacks a bit to get to 5*. The food was generally good, we really enjoyed the biryani, as well as the lamb chops. The chicken baos were quite disappointing.
R. D.
Fusion Indian cuisine done right. I'm always a bit dubious about small plates that look beautiful but don't deliver taste but this place was something else. I took my mum who is an excellent Indian cook and quite particular about Indian restaurants, the cooking styles and flavours used and even she was impressed. Everything was just so packed with flavour. I always think with Indian food if it's not broke don't try and fix it with fanciness but the dishes we ordered managed to be improved by the modern twists. Our favorites were the prawns, the salmon tikka and dhal makhani. I only have four starts as we weren't as keen on the cocktails and the rasmali dessert took a twist that wasn't quite on the mark for us. Service by Kevin was great and we felt we were left to sit and relax as long as we needed though we were there for an early dinner. Highly recommend and will definitely go again!
B. S.
A Stylish indian upmarket restaurant and bar in haymarket London. This restaurant serves indian food with a twist.
The dishes are flavoursome and the menu a refreshing change from your regular indian down the street. The kitchen puts a lot of effort in balancing the flavours and it’s all put together and presented beautifully.
A set 3 course meal for 2 comes up to £70 - £80.
Ahhh ....lastly, a must have is the dessert - rasmalai it just melts in your mouth ... delicious
M. M.
Amazing food and unusual cocktails, some of them being made in a lab 🤯. The service is very knowledgeable and friendly. We loved the experience and definitely we’ll be back!
A. C.
Nice place, fusion food. It was full on Saturday night.
I liked chicken wings, mushrooms, paneer pop corn and salmon fish. And lobsters are awesome not to miss.
Service is too quick
Staff is polite.
Nice ambience too.
P. K.
I had the best Indian food at Farzi cafe london .. Staff are very welcoming. Thanks to Natasha, Ratnesh ,the manager and the head chef who made our dinner so special... We all loved it.. Food was delicious.. good ambience.. love love the place... Will visit again ..xx
G. C.
Lovely venue with amazing cocktails! Great twist on traditional Indian cuisine. Leo and Chiara are great bartenders ✨A must visit!

Visited the Farzi Cafe in Gurugram, India, had a fantastic experience, so I had expectations for this one, it also delivered! Great food and ambiance, great staff who were very attentive where necessary, the décor was great too, would definitely recommend this place whether it be for a social occasion or a sit down meal
Y.
AMAZING FOOD. Best indian food I’ve ever had. Everything about the experience was amazing

Happy to discover that Farzi Cafe now opened in #London one of the famous and my favorite Indian modern bistro’s in Dubai, the style of the menu slightly different which it was fun and beautiful experience to go & discover the dishes, loved that they serve escargots on their own way with delicious garlic & herbs sauce , for the main of course their glazed lamb chops and biryani not to be missed and for desserts order everything :)
M. T.
A very charming place in the heart of London where traditional Indian food is served with a modern twist. Even the traditional 'Biryani' is slow cooked/baked with pastry covering. Extremely friendly staff...
I would give five stars for service, ambiance and presentation but four for the taste. Overall, price versus food is not a very good ratio.
T. K.
Oh my goodness, we had such a delicious meal here. I recommend anyone to eat there!!
k. k.
Amazing food and cocktails! Fav restaurant in London!
M. P.
Service and all staff excellent
Toilets- very clean and presentable
Atmosphere a tad loud if your upstairs
Food... this was the dissatisfaction. I did not in all honesty feel i was eating premiuim flavoured Indian food. Maybe its catering towards the UK market. Its a shame as otherwise really enjoyed it. Expect to pay £40/head minimum for starters, mains and drink

I cannot rate this high enough. The food was great, the service was great and the zodiac cocktails were something new and tasted awesome. We will definitely return!
A.
Amazing place! Loved it and it was halal!! There veggie options too, wagyu beef sliders... Just be careful when reading the bill, we were charged for two things that didn't appear.... Other than that, I couldn't fault them!!!
S. I.
Amazing food. Great location. Service is good. Prices are high but expected with the location
M. F.
I think the masterchef in this place is a genuis. Each dish is so different so innovative and a festival of taste ! Prawns and pate in the starters are my favourites !
L. A.
Food and ambience was great, really good night out, lovely service
R. H.
Good food, waiter started off paying attention but as it got busy was rushing
Mocktails are lovely, majority of what we got had chilli in it so all tasted the same
M. D.
Had a nice dinner with my wife and daughter. The food was very nice and well presented. The service was great.
The restaurant had a modern/hip vibe.
I would recommend going there if you are in the area.
A. H.
Little expensive but all the food was delicious and memorable. The dishes that stood out the most were the Pate with sheermal, prawns starter and goat biryani. Mocktail was sadly disappointing and I'd give that a miss next time.
T. P.
Went there just before a show so was in a bit of a rush, but the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive (hope to spend more time there next time)
D. W.
A mixed bag. We went for dinner before Phantom of the Opera so made a reservation for 6pm to have the pre theatre menu. Weirdly though the waiter wouldn't give us that menu, despite the websites menu saying it was available til 6.30pm that evening (see photo, we went on a Friday). It then felt like he treated us differently because we asked for it in the first place.
Food was also mixed, we had the prawn starter which was way too expensive at £16 for three prawns. Mains were much better, lamb biryani in particular was excellent. Final bill was £92 for one cocktail, one beer, one starter, two mains and a Naan. Even for Central London, it felt pretty pricey. Glad we tried it but there's better and cheaper places nearby, plus the issue with the menu really put us off.
R. J.
Excellent and flavoufull food, nice cocktails.
M. G. S.
This restaurant is amazing! Drinks are great! Leonardo and Chiara are the best bartenders I've come across! Thanks for such amazing drinks and great night! Grazie mille! X
S.
This place is pretty good, bit pricey for what you get but the paneer with makhani sauce made this a 4 star rather than a 3. That dish was unreal!!
T. S.
Delicious food. Loved the soya chop and the avo taco. Also the vada bao! But limited vegan options (all starters and no mains). Also quite pricey for the size of the dishes, but the dishes I did have were absolutely flavourful and unique!
M. M. M.
Must try very good staff
Good ambience great taste
S. A.
It's my second time going to Farzi Cafe and the butter chicken bao was just as good as I remembered it.
We also had a really excellent "Indian Old Fashioned" - one of the best cocktails I've tried with the added bonus of a theatrical, dry ice presentation.
The lamb nihari was also excellent and I'd highly recommend that to share.
a. m.
Very nice food fresh, price reflects that, small portions, very nice service
A. P.
Pretty decent food, the ambience is quite quirky and the dishes are a very interesting fusion.
Not mind-blowing, but it's a decently priced place in a great location. Ideal for a chilled evening
H. E.
The food was really delicious. Worth the price.
Service was a bit slow, other than that it’s a great place
P. A.
My initial reaction when I tasted the food was WOW! We are vegetarian and we ordered 5 starters. First place in London where there were soo many veg options. The starters were mind blowing. Especially the dahi bhalla cloud and chaap. The Vada bao, momos and paneer udupi were well made.
The rotis were ordinary, the black Dal was not nice at all - too watery and timid.
The black forest dessert looked splendid , tasted average.
The lychee non alcoholic drink was also super nice.
I would definitely go back, but eat only starters and have drinks... There are more dishes for us to try. Don't bother with main course and dessert
J. A.
Outstanding butter chicken bao. I have tried a lot of butter chicken and this is one of my favourites. However the rest of the food is pretty average. The portion sizes are quite small. I would recommend 2 starters and one main - so it does end up rather pricey for the quality. The staff are extremely friendly however and make you feel very welcome which adds to the overall atmosphere. I would recommend for the butter chicken bao.
K. T.
Had such a lovely meal here! Our server, Rathnesh, was very considerate, service was excellent, and he recommended some amazing dishes to us! Highly recommend and would come back :)
N.
I was absolutely blown away with the food! It was excellent. I never thought I'd eat this quality of food outside of India.
I'm a vegetarian and a very fussy eater so often what I can order is limited.
At first glance it may appear that the menu is limited because it isn't long however, I can tell you every vegetarian item is truly delicious!
I recommend the soya chhapps, and tacos which are the best tacos I've ever eaten! The double butter dal is also exceptional. The tres leches dessert is very light and has delicate and balanced flavours and a great choice to follow up with when you think you can't possibly eat another bite.
I'm sure I'll be returning here over and over. FC also change the menu according to the seasons so you can never get bored.
The service we were provided by Gaurav was inspirational and is how all restaurant staff should be - extremely attentive, knowledgable about the food, friendly and he made us feel so looked after. Well done Farzi Cafe you've really nailed it!
S. S.
Nice Indian restaurant with a modern twist to the classics. Wide range of options on the menu.
y. g.
This place will always have a special place in my heart for life. I was on a solo trip to London and a friend of mine suggested to have a meal here as her friend - Nikhil is a chef there. And she was absolutely right. I had the best Mutton Rogan Josh of my life here, it was perfect balance of spice with the right amount of aroma and quantity. Chef Nikhil made sure I was being served well and took extra care in making my experience wonderful. I will definitely visit again when I'm in London.
Will recommend all to try their wines selection too specifically along with a chef suggested non vegetarian appetizer.
A. C.
Amazing restaurant, unique design and top location. Slightly ££ but all worth it.
R.
Delicious Food and really good service. Looking forward to coming back here soon...
b. c.
Just popped in for coffee and a dessert and it was absolutely tremendous. Wonderful staff and great ambiance.
J. K.
Excellent food, nice ambiance, great service. Highly recommended!!!
D. C.
Stumbled on Farzi while waiting for a performance at near by theatre but what a find! Luxurious decor, well presented and knowledgeable staff and divine cocktails. Will visit again next time in London!
I.
Lovely and quiet restaurant with an amazing customer services from waiters, specially
Rathnesh. Nice and taste food and quick served. Will definitely come back
R. M.
One of the best restaurants ever. The food was amazing, the service - 5 stars - and the restaurant looks very cool.
k. v.
Amazing food with great atmosphere! Went here with a few friends during the EOTHO scheme and it didn’t disappoint! Portion sizes were perfect for sharing...I heard about their lamb chops and wanted to try them However they ran out! Also was a limited menu as there was some dishes that were recommended to me however they were not on the menu probably due to the capacity/eotho. Hopefully I will get to taste the full menu when I go back. Butter chicken bao buns were my favourite! Loved every dish I ordered.
H. D.
Great modern restaurant, tasty food, friendly staff. We had the privilege to be there for our christmas party and try all the yummy food before it has opened! 👍
L. “. t. d. T.
Great food and ambiance, service was on point. Highly recommend this place.
E. C.
I was looking forward to dining here for the first time tonight from seeing the restaurant’s Instagram page.
However, I was disappointed as firstly, the food was served over an hour late- this was just the starters and extra 20 minutes wait after that for the mains. Secondly, the customer service was poor, we were barely acknowledged by the waiters, from trying to get them to look our way to order, to them failing to inform us until an hour later that our food will be delayed.
The starters we had were the chicken tikka and lamb chops which tasted really good. However, by the time the mains came, all appetite was lost not helped by the fact the food was barely warm!
Honestly I am really let down by the experience today and hope it was just a bad day.
A. B.
Nice Indian fusion cuisine. Liked the atmosphere of the place. Try the roasted lobster tail. Delicious.
Z. H.
Great food, good service by our waiter Ratnesh. It was quiet for a lunch time which was good for us. Slightly overpriced and the menu is OK.
R. S. A.
The food was great. The restaurant decoration is amazing and the service was on par with food and the decor. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
G. W.
Great take on modern Indian. The lamb chops and prawns are amazing
K.
Highly recommend. Great food, fantastic service and overall fantastic vibe.
H. g.
Delicious food, atmosphere and service! I will definitely be going again!
k. s.
After a busy boiling hot day in London my son and I collapsed into the chairs outside this restaurant and ordered 2 for 1 cocktails and sides of food.
What can I say -
Fantastic Food, Fantastic Drinks and Fantastic friendly service.
Thank you so much, you made us so welcome X
N. B.
Food, service, atmosphere - everything was perfect. Rathnesh in particular was amazing with his service and communication and his suggestions on what to eat were perfect! Thank you so much.
E. D.
Amazing! Food was fantastic and the drinks were an experience! We'll be back!
K. V.
Loved the food, vibe and service. Definitely going back.
M. Z.
Stylish, modern deco. They have very interesting cocktail menu. Highly recommend this place.
A. S.
- Decent taste but cold food
- Overpriced
- Mediocre customer service for high end restaurant
H. L.
Really good food and cocktails. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
R. P.
Brilliant presentation - ✅
Innovative menu - ✅
Excellent service - ✅

This restaurant has taken the Indian cuisine to a different level. Amazing to look at and out of this world to taste. We were so well looked after. Staff was very knowledgeable about their menu which was needed as I wouldn’t know what the dishes were. Very unusual menu! It is a sharing experience and the portions were just perfect for us. Will be definitely back soon! Thank you for contributing to a very special night!
M. C.
THE indian to go to in London. Perfect for pre n post theatre. Salmon tikka you’ll never forget
G. F. G.
A very interesting place for a coffee and some sweets. Huge selection of chocolate derivatives.
E. S.
Fantastic drinks and starters, but pretty average mains. Really good service though :)
N. P.
My 2nd visit, this time it was for a friend's birthday. After my first visit, I felt confident to recommend Farzi. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the service was incredible, staff paid attention to our needs and requests. My friends absolutely loved the food and would return again.
P. L.
The food deserves five stars - it was interesting, tasty and the menu had lots of options for vegetarians. In theory, one of the best things about Farzi is that it's open late - relatively novel for this part of London. But on the day I went, they were closing up about 9, which meant I had to leave sooner than I would have liked. I'm sure if I'd gone early I'd give them the full five stars.
M. N.
Amazing experience. Had an anniversary meal with the wife. Fransic the host made our visit amazing. So attentive with service and on point with food delivery to the table. Even helped me and my wife celebrate our wedding anniversary with a complimentary dessert to the table. Gentleman who made our drinks. Didn't catch his name. Beard and tied up hair. Again a great example of the service they offer food was amazing. Thank you Farzi Cafe. Amazing.
G. B.
Interesting flavours with decent number of choices for vegetarians. The portion sizes are smallish, a bit too rich and the prices are relatively high. The service is slow and the decor feels stuffy. It was a fairly enjoyable meal but I was very disappointed that the restaurant has not sorted out any takeaway option for leftovers - upon insisting we got our leftovers in wrapped in aluminium foil. Not great for the environment or the pocket that leftovers end up in the bin! Sort out the basics guys!
M. F.
Food was amazing. Service was very good. Food is served very quickly. Will definitely be going back
S. S.
I never knew Whisky could be clear!! Not something you would expect to learn from a Indo-fusion restaurant however after a quick tour of where they make the cocktails I was simply blown away. The food was second to none however for me it was the service, our waiter, and I wish I remembered his name. I blame him as we went through a lot of cocktails that night!! His knowledge of cocktails and off and his extra special water, Chatteau neuf du tap was exceptional ;) Make sure you try this place out
Z. L. Z. (.
Amazing restaurant; the manager (Arnaud) is standout so are the dishes (Nihari, the Shwarma Biryani and the chicken bao bun).
J. H.
We went to this restaurant in July 2019 as part of a meal deal with a theatre booking. We just expected
an okay meal.
Were we wrong. It was a fantastic meal ! In fact it was one of the best meals we had on our whole trip. Britain, France and Italy.
There were two of us so we tried two different starters, two different mains and two different desserts. You get dhal, and rice or bread with the meal and we had a serve of rice and bread. It is Indian cuisine with a modern twist and every course was delicious.
We also had wine and the sommelier could not have been more helpful.
We did not have time for a return visit, but we will be heading there next time we are in London.
We heartily recommend trying this restaurant, with it without a theatre reservation.
A. M.
A reservation for the Sunday Feasting Brunch was made however it was mistakenly cancelled by the restaurant a couple of days in advance. I was notified by email and then called the restaurant for clarity on the situation. They had cancelled my reservation by mistake but it was rectified swiftly.
On the day of the reservation we had the vegetarian platter, lamb shoulder and tandoori chicken as mains along with the starters and sides provided as part of the brunch menu for the table to share.
The quality of the food was excellent! Zero complaints there however we spotted a mouse several times in the restaurant and flagged this to staff. We made them aware that we feel uncomfortable eating anymore food knowing that there are rodents on the restaurant floor. The staff apologised and then said that the food and drinks we had are on the house so we got a free meal as an apology.
Fantastic food but a potential risk of mice!
V. I.
A buzzing place, with friendly knowledgeable staff who provide exceptional service from the moment you arrive at the door.
The food is a taste bud sensation of heavenly flavours. Beautifully spiced dishes from an incredible but simple menu. Well worth more than one visit.
E. S.
Went over for lunch a while back. Love the ambience, good location and delicately crafted food. Tried out many options on the menu and all were delicious. The portion sizes are pretty small for the pricing. Worth a visit when you are in the area.
S.
Nice ambience! Food could have had less ghee/butter
H. H.
So tasty the starters are the best 👌
a. t.
Went for an anniversary function last night and had an absolutely amazing time. The ambiance was great and the food was brilliant. Would definitely recommend the lamb chops and Shwarma biryani. Plus the cocktails based on different star signs is quite interesting and different.
Would definitely go again!
A. T.
Place is great! Everything I tasted was mouth watering. Ordered the Masala rub rib eye which was the best Rib Eye I've had so far! Friends ordered different dishes which were pleasant. The aesthetics of the place is great. I will be going back to try the desserts next time. The only down side I would say is the fact food can take time to arrive and it arrives when each order is ready and not altogether. So it's best to order something to share first to avoid people waiting for their food while others dig in.
M. S.
We found out about Farzi in Jaipur. We loved it there so we decided to give the London branch a go. And we weren't disappointed. The staff is super friendly and the food is authentic and equally delicious. Loved it!
M. G.
We arrived at this spot for lunch. we heard about this spot from quite a few people. Well, it was very successful. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we felt good. The meal was great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.
M. N.
Absolutely splendid. Would highly recommend and we will be returning.
W. M.
Attended the soft launch. Very convenient location and nice decor. Service was phenomenal and extremely polite.
Cocktail menu is very interesting. The food is excellent - modern versions and strongly flavoured/spiced. Favourite dishes were the chicken wings, Madras prawns and chicken biryani. Lamb chops were flavoursome (sweet flavour with is unusual) although overcooked.
Each restaurant has their best individual dishes, but in my mind overall a better meal than Dishoom, Hoppers, Gunpowder and Kricket.
a. a.
The food here is outstanding. There are numerous vegetarian options on the menu. The dishes are well presented. The atmosphere and venue is elegant and understated. The waiters are attentive and friendly. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the tube station. (I visited in the first few weeks of opening).
C. P.
This place is exquisite Indian tapas. Our table waitress was extremely helpful guiding us through the menu. The wagyu beef sliders were a particular highlight but all the sliders were excellent. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection. The delicious popcorn paneer also stood out - a great way to start your meal here. I went at lunch which was busy but allowed for conversation. A friend tells me at night the music is louder but the cuisine is just as good.
Y. M.
Food was fresh and serving style was really impressive. The servers were warm and hospitable. Every dish was designed to perfection like risotto, galouti kebab. Baked sea bass was soft and tasty. They had an extensive range of appetisers to choose from. Nice ambience. Will visit again soon.
M. S.
Went for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday and was very impressed with the whole experience. Excellent service and amazing food!!
He had the bestest birthday. A big Thank you to the Farzi team for making it a memorable one. We will definitely be back. Good job Team Farzi 👍👍
N. K.
Loved this place, beautiful decor, great vibe. Had cocktails, very interesting and inventive menu. Food outstanding, especially the lamb chops and avocado chaat. Staff friendly and had good knowledge about the menu and food. This will be a regular for me, can't wait to try the rest of the food!
K. P.
Seriously fantastic service and amazing food. We were so well looked after by the front of house team who were attentive and really personable, they even sang Happy birthday! The pre theatre meal offered choice and wasn't rushed at all, and the food was contemporary and delish! Would recommend trying it out, we will be coming back for sure. Thank you Farzi for a wonderful meal.
P. S.
Amazing food, friendly staff, buzzing atmosphere!
Ok, so the food takes a twist on classic Indian styles and there are a few risks that don't pay off (delectable lean lamb chops but in a sweet, teriyaki-like coating) and over elaborate yet minimal desserts which are, well, a miss. But, and it's a big one, like Kim Kardashian-sized, the 80% of this dishes with a twist are amazing. Gourmet it maybe, but the taste more than covers for the tapas like portions and you'll find yourself trying twice as many items than you imagined. Combine the flavours with very pleasant staff and rock solid management oversight and you'll soon be planning a return visit! Prices are on the dear side but as you know, you can still justify calling it value for money if despite the expense you're looking forward to going back!
R. B. (. R.
Good service, nice location, good architecture, nice decor. Food wasn't too expensive. The food was all good. However, the most expensive dish - the Wagyu Shawarma with Lobster tail - was the least impressive. It was the least flavourful in comparison to the Chicken Tikka Masala, the Wagyu Boti and the Lamb Chops. All in all, a great experience, a great night out.
P. P.
Such a lovely change from the normal Indian restaurant. Food was really lush, from such a variety of starter dishes to the mains cocktails and desserts. I loved the tuna ceviche and chicken tikka bao. And the venison and smoked aubergine -yum! Marco our waiter was so nice. He really made us feel like we'd been friends for a long time. The decor is just spot on. You go to a lot of places and it's just too soon and dark. The lighting and ambience, music was just right. Thank you for a lovely evening. Worth the spend and would definitely come back.
M. M.
BUTTER CHICKEN BAO BUNS - POSSIBLY THE BEST THING EVER EATEN!!
Those little bao buns are gorgeous. £14 for 2 but they are tiny.
The Chai Lychee is incredible.
The Wagyu Beef Boti Kebab is brilliant.
The rest of the menu is good but not amazing. The above listed items are just too good!
Great service always.
C. S.
Food and cocktails were sensational. Very unique dishes. However the servers should be trained on serving indian food. If chutneys are ordered they should be served first thing, and if naan/flatbread accompaniment is ordered it should be served WITH the other food, not a few minutes before as it gets cold very quickly. Just some basic tips for serving food at an indian restaurant.
r. s.
Located in the hearts of London, this place takes you to some amazing Indian delights and let you enjoy some amazing food. They have some delicious dishes from steaks to biryanis. It gives a wholesome experience of a nice dining place with great flavors.
D. D.
Having heard a lot on social media I thought it was about time we checked it out. Excellent menu (a good choice of vegetarian options).
We had the popcorn paneer and pani puri. Both my 11 year old and 16 year old enjoyed those. The aubergine main was the most favourite. All the sides and main were delicious.
We had all the deserts and shared them between us. They were all amazing. Paticarly enjoyed the light fluffy shrikhand infused with Mango.
I think they could have had a more varied option of champagnes by the glass as there was only the Rose and brut option.
Service was very good and attentive. I liked the drinks of the month menu as the rose Gin was delicious. I would definately bring my friends here again.
Thanks Farzi.
I. V. (.
Delicious food, quick and excellent service. Highly recommended!

@farzicafe has been my favourite when I was in India and I decided to try one in London to see whether it has same taste and touch or not. I was amazed with the Indian fusion dishes @farzicafelondon serve here with no compromise to taste. The thought that they give to make a dish is simply awesome. Take an example of simple comfort dish that every Indian eat at home daal dhawal they made a fusion out of that with a small papad to top it off.
Cocktails are special too as they have been astrological inspired. Head to this place if you like Modern Indian Fusiin Cuisine.
.
PS: The only thing that I didn't like is quantity of food served as the taste is so good.
N. K.
Lovely presentation of food and drinks. Food was cooked to perfection.
The staff was courteous and gave certain recommendations which were outstanding. My favourite was shawarma biryani which I tried when I visited their Dubai outlet last month. So, I wanted to try the london site. A pleasent evening none the less and would recommend a visit for the food alone.
D. N.
Food was delicious!!! Loved the butter chicken bao 10/10❤️
Juna was lovely and had good understanding of every dish making it easier for us to choose our meal course!
Thank you for your great service 🙌🏼
F. M.
Beautiful setting, with amazing flavoursome food. We asked the waiter for his recommendations and it was incredible. Lamb chops were some of the best.
A. P.
Amazing food and service was excellent, could not fault anything
R. G.
Service was attentive and exceptional, however the food was mediocre. Conceptually it takes traditional recipes by deconstructing and modernizing it with some European techniques. Whilst in theory it is appealing, the balance of flavours was slightly off on the dishes I tried. It seemed that too much had been chucked at a plate, if some of the dishes were pared back slightly, the execution would have been better and they'd probably get 4 stars. To name a few good stand outs, the gol guppa, paneer popcorn and the risotto (the latter is also a dish that could be pared back but it was still nice if you are the spicy packora separately). I didn't try desserts as I had over ordered on the main and starters, but this might be a part of the menu they fare better.
R. S. B.
Famed for its highly original and gastronomic take on Indian food, I am a big fan of Farzi Cafe when it comes to trying something extraordinary. I have visited Farzi cafe in cyber hub ,Gurgaon and my experience was great there. I recommend this place if you are looking to take a step ahead to experience Indian food with a modern innovative yet classic.
M. B.
Very good food but overall experience not great. Booked several weeks in advance but given poor table in the corridor to kitchen- kept getting nudged by staff on way past. 4 of the things we originally ordered already sold out at 7pm on a Saturday.
S. L. R.
Lovely food and amazing friendly staff
R. B.
Amazing food as always! This was one of the first restaurants I wanted to go to once the lockdown was lifted. Avocado chaat, chicken tikka, butter chicken bao - oh so satisfying!
M. G.
Delicious food and amazing service!! Franicis was an amazing waiter who was attentive and was there to make us feel welcome from the second we entered. Will definitely be visiting again.
R. D.
Excellent food and service. Complimentary anniversary dessert provided. Would highly recommend.

This is my very first visit to London. Loving it so far. Had the opportunity to visit Farzi cafe as my friend suggested me. We were a little delayed on getting our table but were graciously taken care by the manager there. A big thank you for a kind gesture. We started with appetisers like chicken wings, dal chawal aranchini among others. I must say I was in awe the way it was presented. Everything was amazing including the drinks. Highly recommend this place.
D. J.
Excellent service and atmosphere. Delicious food and cocktails, and special thanks to Din for making us the best cocktails! Not our last visit to Farzi London.
C. S.
Always a delight to visit Farzi Cafe..!! One of the best modern Indian joints I have been to in recent times. Delicious food, gorgeous drinks and OMG desserts...!!!
S. K.
Very good Indian food for central London. They have kept the flavours and not made it bland like other places. Nice atmosphere and staff.
A. U.
Amazing food! Fine dining at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend it
S. k. G.
Fantastic food, friendly people and great place..
P. J.
A great new addition to London's restaurant scene, a brilliant combination of stunning decor, exquisite food and very friendly and attentive staff and service. There are so many yummy and unique dishes, that every time you visit, there is something different to try. Some of my favourites..the Galouti Kebab Pate, Goat Shoulder Tandoori, Venison Stew, Fish Tikka and Amritsari Fish and Chips. The selection of vegetarian items are also very good, I love the Quinoa goat cheese salad so beautifully presented and the Avocado chaat - fresh and light. The tea selection from the Rare Tea Company is quite different, with plenty unique teas to try on each visit. A must visit!
V. M.
Literally incredible. The tandoori goat shoulder has to be one of London’s best dishes! Don’t miss the venison pepper fry the Lobster moilee and the madras pepper prawns too!
K. S.
The food was absolutely excellent. The customer service was great too - despite initial misunderstanding about our booking, it's been made sure that our experience remains fantastic. Definitely recommended! :)
J. C.
Great evening celebrating my Dads 60th birthday. A special mention to Denzel for his fantastic customer service. Thank you
D. K.
Everything was great. Especially the salmon, incredibly soft and flavourful. Perhaps a bit sweet on some of the sauces.
A. C.
Amazing authentic food with a fine dining twist, so good! The ambience and decor is brilliant and creates the perfect experience. Definitely i give it 5 stars for the food, decor and location. Brilliant!
R. A.
Amazing venue in Haymarket highly recommend. And a little known fact is that it got a Michelin plate. Only 49 restaurants in the UK have a Michelin plate so it's definitely worth coming here.
G.
You have to definitely go to Farzi Cafe. Loved the dessert. The vibe is so powerful, the music was in sync with the night. All in all a great launch. Good food and awesome company what else does one need. Loved it!
A. B.
There certainly were some good dishes, and it has good decor. However, in trying to create fusion cuisine, they lost track of what Indian food actually was, and ended up coming out with dishes that were subpar as a result.
G. W.
Delicious Indian food with an innovative twist - dishes have an Indian base with a splash of the exotic, such as dal chawal arancini, paneer popcorn, pak choy biryani etc. Really clever, experimental menu . Great cocktails (had the Meesh) and ambience too (went on a Friday night). Love it and will be back!
S. S.
Would have been 3 stars but Kevin earned them an extra star. Food was fairly nice, service by Kevin was amazing and the srikand dessert was phenomenal. However the music is a bit too loud, there is a lot of running around and the owner, Neal needs to learn to smile. He constantly walks up and down and his facial expressions ruin your dining experience.
H. S.
Nice presentation, great quality food.
N. C.
Food really good, as is the atmosphere and service
T. K.
If you are a fan of Indian food and have not been to Farzi then i must say you have not tried heaven. The food was delicious, the location was at the perfect spot, and mainly the service was professional. I would definitely encourage to try CTM - chicken tikka masala and galouti slider.
B. D.
Good venue (little expensive!) Very good friendly staff
F. Y.
Very good food. Service was a bit up and down but overall it was ok.
S. K.
This seems like a posh Indian restaurant with good food and drinks. Hosted friends who had come all the way from India. They really enjoyed the food and it’s presentation. We loved the pao sliders and shawarma biryani. Would definitely like to visit again.
A.
Delicious Indian food. Their sliders are incredible. The prices are pretty high, but it's central London, what do you expect?
R. S.
I have visited this outlet for the second time and I must mention that there is nothing on the menu that I would want to give a miss. My favorite so far has been shawarma biryani as I love the amalgamation of shawarma chicken with flovoured rice and rasmalai marshmallow dessert. Waiting to go back to try more dishes
S. C.
Best Asian food I’ve had in London. Customer service was top notch as well.
J. S.
Food was okay but a bit bland.. they waiters in the downstairs area went quite attentive.. upstairs bar was great and had a nice vibe. Good for drinks so so on a meal there
O. A. N.
Highly recommend the madras pepper prawns👌
G. A.
The theatre menu consists of amazing dishes that were all more delicious than the other. The service was exceptional.
y. g.
Really liked the quantity of food they are delivering. Quantity is good enough Compared to money and quality is no doubt proper. Really liked the overall ambiance of the place and staffs were decent. Will visit again.
A. C.
Having heard about this place from a lot of friends, finally gave it a try last week and had a good experience overall. Good decor and the food and drinks were on point too. A bit on the pricier side but definitely worth going.
G. R.
It makes me comeback to Farzi again as i can't get over the flavoursome butter chicken Bao. Butter chicken is one of the favourite dish for most of the Indians and when you try this, you would surely love it.Guys, give it a shot and try amazing range of Indian dishes.

Very good restaurant and high quality produce.. expected a little more 'farzified' food but surely a good start.. the service is class apart and so it deserves an extra star for that to make it as a perfect dine out option in my opinion
S. V.
Open late, lovely food, great service in the west end for a little bite to eat.

Finally the wait is over, after Visiting Farzi Cafe in India, been waiting for this outlet to pop up soon in London and here it is, with fusion food at it’s best, this place has my heart. Try to be here once. I am sure that you will visit very frequently

Just finished a great meal at Farzi Cafe. Good food with excellent quality and presentation. A warm welcome and nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.
M. W.
Farzi Cafe launch party definitely one of the best in town. The place had a great vibe, definitely the place to be. The guest list had some really good names.

I'm very impressed with the hospitality of the all staffs members who looked after us today very very nicely... The food, no doubt it was so delicious and environment was so nice. Definitely recommend this to others, must visit here.

I have heard about Farzi India, now they have opened gate here. I visited this cafe last Saturday and believe me it was an awesome experience. Little higher side in terms of price but overall worth it.
S. K.
The food was tasty but certainly not outstanding that you are excited by every mouthful. Atmosphere is lovely with great staff. Good but not incredible!
H. S.
Very family friendly. All the staff made such a lovely fuss over the two children while we had a cup of tea. Gave us a very welcome break!
A. B.
One of the best Farzi outlet that i’ve ever visited, with great food and delicious cocktails, this place is surely a recommended one. I really had a superb time here. Keep up the good work.

Fast becoming my favourite restaurant in London
N. M.
Absolutly Delicious!! 🤤😁

Service is good, food taste is good...but not what you expect from Indian Restaurant....They call it fusion, but I call it overpriced fancy food which as an Indian, I can' t appreciate as Indian food..
3 star for good service and food had taste although I can't classify as meal....
J. V.
I was highly impressed by the food here. I had never tried this type of indian food; it's a tweak on the indian flavours with a lot of meat recipies and high quality food. I'll definetly come back

Really tasty food and very instagramable for those who care. The arancini starters were my favourite and the Rose cocktail is very light and refreshing
M. A.
The best indian restaurant I have ever been to. I dont know what else to say, it simply was the most amazing indian food and is heaven and earth above any other restaurant in London.

A really nice spot but to be honest the food is really overpriced and small portion. With the price I paid I would choose Dishoom over Farzi Cafe.
First time for everything.
G. Q.
We only ordered a few dishes but what we had was of great quality. The ambience of the restaurant is great.
P. J.
Delicious dishes, and the best service in this top new restaurant.Lives and exceeds it's world class reputation. The best Indian cuisine really cooked to perfection.
T. B.
Doesn't really know what it's supposed to be. A mish mash of food. Poor lighting and too loud music. Can't see what you're eating or hear your friends talk. Service was good though.

Great food, great ambience, terrific service. The staff really looked after us. I got all the credit from friends for choosing Farzi Cafe ;-)

Food and cocktails were sensational. Very unique dishes. However the servers should be trained on serving indian food. If chutneys are ordered they should be served first thing, and if naan/flatbread accompaniment is ordered it should be …
Z. M.
