Great place, with great vibes! Food was amazing, I would highly recommend the garlic chilli fries!! I had the American double beef burger, didn’t taste as fancy as it looks or sounds but still OK. It was a very quick service, I’m wondering whether it was fresh or not lol but either way it was all decent.

I don't know where to start... The premium burger here is DEFINITELY the best burger you will EVER eat. The taste and flavours were something I've never experienced in a burger. The presentation was beautiful. The staff were amazing, so polite, kind and down for a laugh... My only complaint is that they're so far from where i live 😭😭😭😭 these burgers are genuinely the best I've ever had. The mocktails were so tasty too. 100/10 would recommend to everyone. (The red burger in the pictures below is the premium burger)

When I want to have a burger that hits the spot, I go to Fat Boyz on Barking Road. It is around the corner from the old West Ham Football ground. Plenty of parking nearby. By train, it is a 5 minute walk from Upton Park Station it is a 5 minute walk. The premium burger is the one. This is the best gourmet burger I have ever had (and I have had some burgers, lol). They do lots of different types of chips and they sell original soft drinks (hooray). Halal restaurant in East London serving gourmet food. You MUST try this place. One of the few places I can rely on to consistently provide tasty, well priced, and quality food. I haven't tried all the menu items but I have eaten the burgers, chicken strips, grilled wings, and a few sides well over 20 times. I would recommend all of those items, especially the garlic chilli fries (with extra sauce). Staff are friendly and jovial and I've seen them respond well to feedback by making the desired changes.

Fatboyz diner was really satisfying for me, the kids and the mrs. The beef burger had a very good quality patty and was cooked to perfection. The chicken burger had a deliciously moist peice of grilled chicken with onion rings which went down like a treat. The kids demolished there cheese buger meals, the mocktails genuinly surprised me as they were soooo good, the milkshake was too good for its price and o yeah, their home made sause left wanting ask for a takeaway pot. All of that, at a very resonable price, would highly recommend. U wont be dissapointed.

Burgers are great and the fully loaded chips are amazing!!!! When they first opened i used to live nearby but now drive 7miles (20mins) to pick up takeaway. They wrap the takeaway box in foil to keep it warm so by the time I'm home its still warm. Only down side is price. For an eat in price is on par with competitors however for a family takeaway it's pricey. They could maybe offer family deals?

Heard some reviews of this place. Decided to go with a couple of mates. Had their Angus burger the taste of this burger was excellent you could taste the quality of the meat.(not sure about the red bun) We had a large platter and it was also good .

Decor was decent and very clean. The service we received was very good and the food was also on point with portions of chips being quite large! Very well priced i think my meal came upto £10! I requested a medium rare American burger. It was tasty and succulent, only caveat being that the brioche bun was cold. Steak chips were not nice and tasted undercooked. Cheesy fries was meh. Cajun fries were very nice (I highly recommend this over any other chips from Fat Boyz) Burger (double) cost £7 and chips roughly cost around £3-£4.50, so wasn't cheap, but wasn't particularly expensive either. Service was fine and atmosphere was also good. Overall rating: 7/10

The last time I ate here it only had been open for a week and I thought it had potential. I found myself around the area and a bit peckish so decided to pop in. There have definitely been improvements. I ordered the American, which is basically a cheeseburger and it only costs £5. The taste of the beef was really good and I loved the sweetness from the onions and the bun. A simple but really well-cooked burger. The beef was cooked on a flat plate grill so it kept the juices there and really enhanced the flavours. I enjoyed it so much, I ordered another! I had two sides it was nice and I liked their variety of sides and I had waffle fries for the first time. Unfortunately the milkshakes were unavailable and for the cheesy fries the cheese underneath was not melted still. I went for the hot dog with skinny fries, whilst my missus chose a burger with chilli garlic fries. Everything was perfect! The portion of fries was tooooo generous but I guess it matched the Fatboyz theme, the garlic fries were amazing! Her burger was juicy asf! Ordered a Oreo milkshake to takeaway, not the best but good attempt. Atmosphere was great too and music playing brought back some memories...Staff were so great and friendly! Bought the 'warm cookie dough' in classic choc chip, with vanilla ice cream. The cookie dough itself was decent and about what you'd expect, however the ice cream served on top of it was heavily crystallised and hard. It was extremely difficult to enjoy the combination of flavours when the texture of the ice cream was so off-putting and difficult to scoop. I ended up leaving most of it and just having the warm cookie dough. Overall, I paid £5 for something quite underwhelming. I think it's very overpriced for what little you get and the quality, and I did not have the best experience here. Not sure I would return, and if I do I will not be ordering this again.

I’ve been to Fat boys diner a few times over the years and they have consistently served good food. The burgers are nice and moist and full of flavour. They have myriad of different chips options, my favourite so far is the garlic chilli chips. The portion sizes are perfect and leave me not wanting for more. I’ve been to many other gourmet burger places and for me, I think this is the best in the east when considering price, taste and overall service. Keep up the good work team! :)

Great new place opened right next to the crusty Boleyn Cinema. The place is situated on a main road, parking can be difficult in the day however in the evening after 6.30pm plenty of places to park close by. The food was excellent and prices were great for what nice portions. I ordered a 6oz burger, cheesy fries and a coke for £10. One of my colleagues had the pizza fries which he said was immense. Negative factors were: the restaurant was super cold, there was a electrical heater but wasn't doing much work as the inside of the venue was the same temperature as outside at 2 degrees. In general good food nice setting and staff were nice also.

I ordered an American with double patty, chicken strips, cheesy fries and a hot dog, it's a very clean establishment, the only messy thing I could see was people stuffing there faces (which can only be a good thing!). I met Bilal who was fastudious in preparing and presenting the food, he said there were a few things being added to there menu. The burger was delicious, I think I'll make it spicier next time, the chicken strips with sweet chilli sauce were excellent. The cheesy fries and hot dog also get top marks. Overall it looks like I'll be a regular here if today is anything to go bye!

Loved this place. The staff was so so friendly, and the service was quick. The food is great, very generous with the portion sizes and the pizza fries were like nothing I've had before. The Fatboy was good, massive so I'd recommend being hungry if you want to order it (although you can just take home whatever you don't finish). It felt a tiny bit dry, but I suppose it's normal with so much fried meat, so recommend having a drink on hand. The drinks are also good - lemonade is very sweet so it might not be for everyone (I loved it though); the mojito mocktail is a good alternative for something less sweet but still tasty.

I placed a order on Uber eats, I forgot to add a can of drink, which I called them up to ask if they could add a can of coke to the order. They told me they have nothing to do with the Uber eats driver as I said I'd pay cash on arrival. The brother said don't worry and gave me a free can of coke which he didn't have too. Places like this need more rate. The food was excellent. I order the single Pattie burger with buffalo wings and skinny fries. The ingredients used for the burger was spot on, juice and we'll balanced in flavours. The buffalo wings was crispy with awesome flavours from the buffalo sauce. The chips was fresh and crispy nothing refried. All in all Customer service 11/10 Food 11/10 Overall experience 💯 Give them a try. A local gem on our doorstep.

After hearing so much about this place, decided to pay them a visit on Friday evening. What a disaster. Full house which was a good sign, people must like the food here. Orders placed. 15 minutes later I noticed not one single person has food on their table, it seemed like everyone was waiting to to break their fast. Eventually we got our food in reverse order. First the burger, then chips which was followed by the starters. Slightly disappointed with my burger as it was cold. The dirty chips were nice and warm so just carried on with my meal. I then had to get up to remind someone for my drink. Overall I was slightly disappointed, after hearing so much about this place. I noticed 7 people working front house yet seemed like they couldn't cope. My friends do insist that this was a one off. I am willing to try this place out once, maybe on Monday evening when should be slightly less busier.

I regretfully am only giving 3/5 as I have made a 3 different orders from this place and they've messed up my orders on two different occasions. The first occasion I asked for no whip cream on my prep milkshake, the 2nd I oddly received a red colour burger bun when I should have got a standard one. I have to say aswell there cajun fries have tasted stale whenever I've ordered them. This is all a shame as the guy who I think owns it seems pretty friendly. I just hope this place really take on the constructive criticism as I do think if they do they won't be far off from being a great place for food...

Fresh cooked burgers 🍔 with quality ingredients the beef meat patties are very tender. One of the most tastiest burger places with good quality all around ingredients. The burgers are very reasonably priced just order choice of sides and drink separate. You can add as much extras at cost to burgers and large choice of sides. Place has seating inside but does get busy so maybe call ahead if you want to guarantee a table etc.

Don't be fooled by IG pics for any ones restaurant but trust the review. You need to order a champ burger with chili garlic fries. I suppose the price is OK £10-£11. Decent portion and great tasting food. Staff are great and its generally a nice place. To the owner, keep doing what your doing I don't normally like to rate anything highly unless I feel its worth it. Word of advice. Don't increase the prices.

A hidden gem Location has parking outside, which is a huge plus! Inside you welcomed to comfortable seating and TV entertainment. The food is amazing, I especially enjoyed their chicken burger! It begins with the sweetness of bun against the creaminess of the mayo. It's off to a great start, the chicken is crunchy yet soft. A balance of crunchability, along with fresh salad and slaw. It's perfect! Also I would recommend the dirty fries, to be straight to the point fantastic. Spicy mince with creamy cheese and do choose the skinny fries over other options, as they do balance texture of this dish. Honesty is the best policy, my only advice is please be generous with the side options. They bring us back again and again. Yummy food!

So I visited fat boyz diner when it first opened, I'll be honest I can't remember if I loved it or hated it. So I went recently with my family, we were pretty disappointed with the burgers, it was either overcooked or just really dry where we got fed up of chewing. Moving on to the sides/starters, they were actually pretty decent and went down well with everyone including the kids. The staff were friendly and attentive so I guess we couldn't complain much.

Love, love their garlic fries! Along with the cajun chips and dirty chip. The quality of the patty is surprisingly good and and their classic American burger to their BMT are great! I've only known of this place for only a few months and the standard if their food is great considering their a local place and that they dont have much competition. Their Lemmon drinks are always fresh and good with any meal. Staff are friendly and they do online orders. I've eaten from here several times and haven't really been disappointed.

Heard great things about this place from halal food review pages on Instagram, so me and a couple of friends decided to try it out. I got the Philly Cheesesteak which was OK but was served in a very plain dull sub type bread, expected something of slightly better quality. Flavour was mediocre, had better cheesesteaks. The muddy fries were good. However, I did not like the chilli garlic fries (just normal cheap thin fries with a homemade chilli garlic sauce). Expected better fries from this place. However, the Oreo XXL milkshake was great. The place did not wow me as I thought it would have, therefore a 3/5.

Ordered recently from this place. Food came quick via delivery and was really nice. A few negatives though, one, some of the food that we ordered felt like it wasn't freshly made or even made in the kitchen but pre bought frozen e.g onion rings. Secondly, even though we paid delivery charges online the delivery driver tried to hustle a few extra pounds delivery charge for whatever reason which I think is completely unacceptable. I did not pay and he only gave us the food after I said return our money and take the food back. I would eat in next time as the price is good compared to other diners

Fatboyz Dinner Came to my local burger restaurant with my wife on Saturday evening. Probably the best value for money burger place in East London! Absolutely love this place, feels humble with great food! From the appetisers (the chicken tenders in particular come to mind) to the burgers (if I had to pick one 'The champ'), all round awesome quality and taste! I went there this month...never really expected much. Ordered a champ burger and some garlic chilli fries. The first bite was enough to rate the burger and say it's the best gourmet burger I've had anywhere. Too many places trending out with gourmet burgers in London and they have not impressed me. The burgers patty kept coming out the burger everytime I held it or tried getting a bite which was irritating and then we had the the a guy who I believe was the manager or owner who kept staring at me while I was trying to eat which was wierd. So the assembly of the burger was poor. The burn was surprisingly nice as it was sweet but would have went better with a brioche bun as all burgers do. The burgers pattys were pretty thin. I got a double but it looked like a single. I've worked in a burger joint before and I know how much needs to be out in a patty. I think they thought they could save some meat..it's just a couple of lads..they won't notice. Wrong..and a bad decision. The burger was good. The chips were not that nice as the oil used, gave the chips a bad taste and wierd texture. The staff seemed pretty confused a lot of the time and unprofessional. They forgot our drinks at first and then actually asked if I'd payed for it which I obviously did. Later on when we where leaving he asked me to pay for the water which I'd already payed for in the beginning. It's just a case of more training needed as the guys were pretty friendly as this just irritates the experiance. The other light skinned guy who I think is the manager or owner started saying some other stuff about the water I did not understand. They need better communication skills.
