One of the best choices for a quick bite in the area! Great sandwiches and fresh cooked dishes, really tasty! I have eaten a few times and always it was a great pleasure! Loved it! Nice cozy restaurant. Seating can be a problem so glad i was there early for breakfast. Serves different English breakfast so you don't have to pay full price for hotel breakfast that you don't consume anyway. Family business, i think, with friendly and welcoming staff. Feels like your home with paid catering. Prices are friendly too.

One of the best places for an amazing take away lunch. Their chicken escalope with bacon is great. £5.20 and you get a free fruit with that too. The staff are always lovely and super fast.

Fernando’s! An absolute staple of the area. The chicken escalope sandwich will take you from hungry, to full, all the way to ashamed at how much food you’ve just stuffed your face with. Really good value, there’s always a queue out the door at lunch time. Everyone’s really friendly and the food is turned out super fast. If you’re in the area and looking for a decent lunch, go.

A true gem in the center of London, best for take away lunch as it is a cozy place. From the chicken escalope sandwich, all the way through to the jacket potatos and pastas, big portions and a great price. The staff are always lovely and super fast.

Long queues at lunchtime, but they go fast; affordable lunch option, no wonder there is a queue. Salad boxes, warm sandwiches... huge portions (couldn't finish sandwich for lunch; had to struggle with the salad box, another time), and good value for money. Take-away is the most frequent option, as there is limited seating. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Humongous portions for a really good price. Friendly service and it's always quiet. My only complaint is sometimes there's not enough salt used, but most people like that. They do a mean jacket potato with many combinations of toppings. My favourite is the beef chilli.

The best takeaway lunch in the area. A good selection of hot and cold dishes with huge portions at an amazing price. It does get quite busy with regulars between 12 and 1 (for good reason) so plan accordingly!

Great place, always a queue at lunch from locals going by for takeaway. The grilled chicken salad is amazing, as is the Escalope and cheese baguette. They do good pasta too I hear. It's a good place with good service!

This is my favourite sandwich bar in the Charing Cross area, the value for money is excellent and the service is great too. They also serve pasta dishes and you are guaranteed to not be feeling hungry after paying Fernando's a visit. Seating capacity is an issue, but the place is so popular that you have to expect this.

Amazing variety of dishes but restaurant has limited seating facility. Some of the traditional English dishes like Shepherd's pie are available. Besides this, they also have Lasagne, noodles, kebab. Quite friendly staff with good service

Popped in here for a very quick sandwich prior to visiting the ENO close by. Very impressed with the size of sandwich, the speed in which it was made and the charming staff who served us. Very reasonable price too.
