We all know 5 guys it’s on the expensive side considering the environment you sit to eat and that it comes in a brown paper bag… but I can say with confidence that the quality and taste of their products is well worth it. I don’t usually have 5 guys due to the price, if I want to pay 13£ for a burger and chips (no drink) I rather go at a restaurant and sit down and served in a plate… Worth giving them a visit though, great food!

Great hamburgers, I like this chain because you can choose what you want on your burger, even mushrooms and pickles. I personally love the spicy fries (cajun I believe they call them), both because of the taste and because they are freshly made. The portions are massive, so when ordering the small fries you still receive a lot.

I'm currently working in Canary Wharf and I go to the local Five Guys every Friday. I love it here. Friendly staff and not the fake friendly either. The manager clearly knows how to run a restaurant. The food is always on point and the atmosphere is always good. Do yourself a favor, avoid Nandos and visit Five Guys. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped here for lunch and food was amazing but I wouldn't expect anything less for Five Guys. Staff friendly and Manager very polite. I did notice and have a chat with manager that some of the working procedures could do with being improved but that all comes with staff training and getting new team members up to the standards required. Reassured that this is in progress so I wish them good luck while still going through the current COVID-19 pandemic.

It's funny to see how the American fast food model of business has evolved. Five Guys is more focused and efficient than McDonald's, Burger King and the like. But the atmosphere is more fun and still very American. Loud classic rock music pumps in the background and the no fuss diner-style decor immediately sets your taste buds and stomach for a cuisine worthy of the stars and stripes. Unfortunately, if you're vegetarian, your burger options are limited as they don't replace their beef patties. Essentially you just get the bun and any small extras that go with it. So it's arguably not a burger, rather a bunch of toppings between two bits of bread. Still, their fries are very well done. Suitably unhealthy being cooked in LDL-cholesterol-laden peanut oil, but very tasty. Add cajun spice for the tastiest experience you can have with sliced fried potatoes in a cup (and a bag... there's a lot of spill over in that typically American abundance). The service at this branch is a little laid back but very customer-positive: good communication and a feeling of care. Despite the fundamental health issues presented with the food here, I'd recommend it as a fun treat if you're with kids or in a teenaged group of friends.

Delicious but not worth the price tag in my opinion. I had a burger, fries and shake and it came to £15+. It was my first time at Five Guys. The burgers are good, two patties in the bun. Milkshake was good, quite heavy for lunch but that's my own fault. At lunch time is gets really busy and there is bit of a wait, once you order you go through a line and wait at the end for your food. Drinks are at a separate part which gets a bit confusing if it's not ready and you've walked past it. I would probably come again but not the get shake, the burger is enough and chips to share with someone

Loads of fries!!! Spicy ones. That's all I can think of this place. The burgers are OK-ish, but at least you can add as many toppings as desired. The food chart menu is a bit sneaky - in terms of the naming and prices - they call normal sized burgers little, so if you order a 'burger' they'll serve you a big one. The rest is alright, very cool soft drink dispensers with many flavours.

Extremely tasty burgers and each visit can yield a unique burger given the wide range of toppings available (at no extra cost). But the chips are where it’s at: supremely tasty spicy chips! Warning: portions of chips are large so you may want to order less than you would at a lesser burger joint. If ordering takeaway pop the chips in the oven for five minutes = perfect. If you can squeeze one in after the burger and fries get a milkshake they’re deeelicious.

In the Canary wharf branch staff are always friendly and vey polite and of course delivering excellent customer service. As a regular customer I went there on Friday lunchtime for takeaway and ordered the small portion chips but instead I got regular size portion chips which is fantastic. If you've ever tried a Shake Shack burger, you know Five Guys doesn't make the best burgers. They're pretty good though. Everything is fresh and you her to choose your own ingredients. So that's pretty nice. And let me tell you, they taste netter than they look. The fries taste really good as well. The location is not that beautiful, as it is basically just a basement. Been to the “Five Guys” restaurant in Chelsea for the first time with some friends. Tried the bacon cheeseburger and it was for me the best burger I have ever had! I would say a regular restaurant with amazing food! Definitely to come back! Also very cautious with food preparation and allergies!!

My friend and I are here in London from Australia and we wanted to get some burgers. We arrived at 10:58, just before they opened and we’re going to wait outside. The manager opened the door and invited us in because it was raining. He gave us cups and encouraged us to get some drinks and sit down. Love the burgers here and although it's another burger place in canary wharf it is a great addition. The opening day was a disaster as it was so busy and staff were struggling to cope. I ordered my food but gave up waiting after an hour. They did refund the money which was great but was a bad first experience. Went back a few weeks later and while still busy it seemed to be a bit more efficient. I'll go back to try one of there lovely burgers soon!

Five guys is a great place to eat and is absolutely amazing. From there amazing Cajun chips to there delicious bacon cheese burgers they are able to to make you shudder in your seat with every bite. They have a great selection of drink which you can pick yourself from the machines they have. The staff are also probably the kindest and most understanding staff in the fast food industry. I would recommend to anyone that is either craving a great burger or even going on a date (especially the one in canary wharf). The only reason I did not give five stars is because they use the paper straws which personally I do not enjoy using. Other than that minor inconvenience its an absolutely great place to go!!

Dependent on the chef, it's a lottery whether you will receive a sweaty brioche bun. If they rush, they tightly wrap the warm burger in foil and leave it to spoil on the side in the most unapologetic fashion. It's a shame because the patties are probably some of the best you can find when compared to even the fanciest of eateries. When you get a chef that cares, the burger and chip experience is exactly what you imagine it should taste like when you're craving a meal like that.. I'd say 10 out of 5 on a good day or 1 out of 5 when the steam has been allowed to spongify your bun - so I give it 3 stars in this review.

Ok, so we popped in here with the kids whilst in Canary Wharf shopping. I nearly fell over when they told me £65 for 4x burgers, chips a milkshake and a few drinks! Firstly, there is no Children's Menu? So a cheese burger, chips and a milkshake for a four year old came to £13!! We did enjoy the burger's, tasted fresh, plenty of topping choices although the patties size did seem quite small for the money involved. The Cajun seasoning on the chips was tasty and there was plenty of them. I tried the Milkshake and it was good, very thick and it could possibly give you a hernia trying to suck it through the straw...which is a good thing. The lack of children's choices may put me off going again with my boys. Tip: Share the fries and ask them to split the milkshake if you are attending with children.

Location wise, this branch is perfect for those exploring Canary Wharf, but can be noisy and seating can be a little tight at peak times. The latter could be solved if you are willing to sit out in the gardens above ground.

I do not blame them as the queue was quite long and were under a lot of pressure. I would suggest that the kitchen was moved further away from the seating area as it was very noisy. Technically it’s all in 1 level, so Wheelchair accessible, though the height of the front counter makes it really awkward to order while seated and the aisles and spaces between the tables is pretty narrow.

Same five guys as you'd expect in the general sense. So for most of the population, it's great. However: Less allergen training though than the one I am more used to going to in O2. I have an unusual intolerance to alliums, very severe, not in the recognised allergens. Had plain fries and a bacon burger with lettuce and tomatoes and no bun. The lady who served me may not have double checked all the cross contaminations. First time I've been severely ill from a five guys. Would advise to go to the shake shack in Canary wharf, they're more cautious for a allergy-compatible burger in that precise area.
