Reviews of Five Guys Charing Cross
L. F.
Awesome Burger as always.
Love the fact the fillings are as you want them and the range of drinks is so different and unique. Recommend the Fanta Grape.
Hot and fresh 2 patties cheese, loaded with fillings of your choice. What's not to like about that?!
E. N.
Clean, quick and the staff were friendly. Not worth visiting as a vegetarian. The chips are very average, lots of other fast food chains with a better selection of food and nicer fried.
K. N.
Anywhere in the world - 5 guys rock close second to honest burger but still Dane good food in London
M. C.
Five guys never disappoints. The burgers are pricey but well made and quite compact (hate tall burgers that don't fit in your mouth). They always throw in some extra chips as well! Protip: always buy small chips, they will always throw in a handful extra into your bag. The only complaint is that the drinks from the drinks machine were a bit flat and watery. (Ratio problem?)
R. K.
Decent burgers for decent price: it’s not winning my 5 star award. A step up from Burger King. Wonder will they have a veggie option soon?
The chips are an issue some days it feeds a family of six and others just the one. I like consistency I am a simpleton.
As my gran would say “if you cook and are consistent they will respect you. If your consistently good you get away with an average one once in a while but if your consistently bad and get good one once in a while. Your a gonner”
C. G.
Great five guys restaurant right next to Charing Cross station just up from embankment tube. The little burgers are actually very big by British standards. The chips are great too. The drinks are expensive for what they are so bring a bottle of water.
P. C.
Great employees very friendly. Food is excellent. I cannot give 5 due to cost. It is far too expensive.
M. S.
Classic bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, pickles and onions. Still the best burger in town. In the words of Daym Drops the cheese is going HAM.
R. A.
Really friendly staff, very clean even though very busy, toilets clean. Good atmosphere and food was quick to be served. Great value for money. Suitable for families
J. R.
Nice place, with good hamburgers.
You can add all the options that's available in your burguer,
They also have Hotdog, mini burguer, shakes, drinks.
Nice stuff, there's everything inside Five Guys,
from young workers to middle ages.
P. A.
I was in a hurry, in the middle of a busy day full of meetings, when I decided to taste their burgers, I must say I really liked the place, service is fast. They have just few basic burgers options, but then it’s possible add plenty of ingredients, and they’re included in the price. Also the drinks, you pay just once, but then you can refill. The hamburger was really tasty with good quality ingredients. I’ll visit them again for sure!

I have been wanting to eat at a Five Guys for many years but they are mostly in Central London and I don't get here very often. To say the wait was worth it is an understatement.
The food was brilliant and puts many larger fast food chains to shame. The menu is quite simple but that works for me. Food was all cooked fresh to order but I can imagine that this can cause serious queues when busier. The burgers were decent size and you could taste everything. Cooked to perfection and silly things like chunky veg and onions not some rehydrated nonsense.
Chips were nice and fresh as well. Went for Cajun spice and they had a kick to them! I also tried one of their shakes and it was on par with their food.
I will definitely make a beeline for another Five Guys if I get the chance.
P. A.
The ordering system is so simple, the price is so affordable, you might think the food is moderate. But when I bit into the burger, I bit into heaven. Perfectly fried meat and the ingredients were all fresh. Comes to my favorites list.
S. A.
Long day out with my mates with a lunch and loads of booze - munchies on the way home and a small burger hit the spot - young girl on the till was both helpful and fun and the food was great
A. S.
Brilliant location just off the Strand. Delicious food, friendly staff and plenty of choices to be had. Don't make the rookie error of thinking that all the garnishes come on your burger - you need to order them all separately. Plenty of seating on 2 levels and toilets available too. Excellent cleanliness levels
G. C.
Friendly staff. Wasn't that impressed with my food as the fries went cold quick although there were lots of them and my burger was quite bland. Ordered relish as one of my toppings which wasn't very nice as relishes go.
M. F.
Saturday night and everything was at least an hour wait for food. Came across give guys and got served in less than 10 mins. Got a seat and the food was great
D. G.
Awesome burgers and great quick service, there had been a huge queue waiting for orders but we only had to wait for around 10 minutes for the best burger I have ever tried. Great to have the option of beers with it as well.
K. H.
As burger places go they honestly don’t come much better than this, including the fancy ones. The burgers are the perfect thickness and come in two sizes and you can pick exactly what you want in it. The chips are also divine and come in salty or spicy. If you fancy a burger then this really is the place to come!
B.
Amazing burgers and made exactly how you want. Also highly reccomend the milkshakes.
d. m.
What's not to like. Burgers with all the trimmings. Whilst dear in pricee, they are very good. Don't waste extra cash on going medium or large on the chips though.... No one needs that amount of food
Z.
Freshly made (not frozen) burgers and fries, drinks and shakes. Lots of space to eat and quite clean. On my visit it took over 10 mins for burger to be ready not a big issues. Bottomless soda if you buy.
B. G.
On a rare occasion where I decide to drink... I found myself at the end of the night at a five guys restraunt. I joked all night that Five guys burgers are overrated as I have tried it a couple times in London. Well I got to say the first bite of my double cheese burger (not the little one) I was hooked. Everything was perfect, plenty of pickles and a good amount of cheese. I think I’m gonna call it to say that this place is better than shake shack. Thank you
L. F.
Small place, but with a good standard for being a fast food restaurant. Must try its smoothies that are of a qualitative level certainly higher than other fast food. Furniture in vintage style and youthful at the same time
5. 9.
Five Guys is my Favourite Burger place I think it's much better than MacDonald's or Burgerking. The ambient is very cool there are free peanuts and you can Refill your drink as often as you like
l.
Great burger place really nice burgers and chips obviously they’re not cheap but nice to treat yourself once in while
D. B.
Hadn't been to Five Guys before, but man what an experience. Really friendly staff, amazing burgers with all kinds of toppings ans Coca-Cola Freestyle. The chips/fries were to die for. These are grade A burgers, and they are very well priced considering the quality of the product. I will be coming back here.
T.
Food was incredible and fries were good. Everything was clean and santatized including the toilets . Staff were very helpful as well and friendly !!!
D. S.
Thanks to goerbry (hope is a the right spelling) he gave the most pleasant experience ordering a burger.i didn't know what to order and help me to order going thru all the options and being very helpful.
C. H.
Food is great Five Guys food but the service was too slow compared to other branches when I went there on Sunday at 12:45
After ordering (the wait time to order isn't included), I had to wait 20 minutes to get a burger.
M.
A little pricey, but the burgers taste nice and the fries even better, plus you get given plenty! Also tied a Milkshake which was delicious. There's plenty of indoor seating (when you are allowed to sit inside again), and the service was good with them separating our meals into different bags and even numbering them so we didn't mix them up!
E. N.
This was first experience of Five Guys so not sure how my experience compares to other locations but this was an awesome burger.. you certainly won't leave hungry.. though perhaps no good if you're on a diet!
r. l.
Awesome burgers and nice staff. A bit pricy in my opinion but definitely worth if it's your first time you go to Five Guys. You can choose your own topping on each burger. It's still ofcourse a fast food restaurant, but it's clean and nice decorated (American style). The toilets are clean. The fries with cajun are delicious. You have a wide range of soft drinks, and you can refill as much you want. Friendly locals.
I. Q.
So, if only their prices matched McDonald's and Burger King then these guys would rule.
Burgers are delicious. Almost gluttony inducing good.
And they are very liberal with the amount of fries they give you, so be warned. Unless you love eating fries like cookie monster eats cookies
K. N.
Burgers are phenomenal. The perfect meal after a few drinks it on the town. Guys behind the counter are also good to chat too if place is not busy.
S. E.
Perfect! Excellent service... Very good burgers, quality as good as usual. Good personal.
From France to London Five guys is still on top 👌🏽🔝❤️🇫🇷
J. A.
As always with 5 guys, the service and quality are brilliant! Great location too!
Chocolate and peanut butter milkshake is must!
B. U.
Everything you expect from a burger. Great fries. Super to eat out on the Embankment.
R. B.
Good service, food and milkshake done well.
l.
Great burger place really nice burgers and chips obviously they’re not cheap but nice to treat yourself once in while

Love Five Guys food. So much nicer than the average fast food!
F. R.
Best five guys. Great service. Excellent after a few drinks around Covent Garden.
R. T.
Always good.
D. E.
Burgers are great, chips not so much. On the slightly pricier side as well.
R. K.
Great burgers. Tonnes of chips - share. If you can!
G. R.
Usual five guys good burger but also staff were great 👍
A. D.
Very nice burger but expensive (at Byron price levels), but set in a Burger King environment
K. C.
Love Five Guys food. So much nicer than the average fast food!
B. U.
Everything you expect from a burger. Great fries. Super to eat out on the Embankment.
K. M.
It's Five Guys, same as the others. Always good.
R. J.
Great burgers and amazing shakes. Just how you like them. Pay one price and choose whatever toppings you want at no additional cost.
R. D.
Great place. Super quick and very tasty. Very friendly staff.
T. P.
Very good burguers. Cheap. With a lot of free extras
A. W.
Got our order a bit wrong but tasty burgers
W. R.
Great experience, it feels like you're in a place with a soul and you want to share this soul haha.
I had a burger, my boyfriend had a shake and both were really great. Great spices, great service, great timing, great design.
Best burger in my life, but I felt that it isn't THE ONLY ONE, because it is a quite big firm, but they do a great job.
Keep going!
T. T.
Very expensive for my budget when compared with other offerings. But you get a lot of food....always clean and open a lot through pandemic when a lot of other places were shut so I appreciate that support.
N. E.
I usually rave about five guys, their burgers are normally the best by far, but had two bad experiences at this place recently. First time the food was cold and second time the staff were so rude it was untrue.
P. S.
Service was quick, the food was good as always and the place was clean.
j.
This is always a place that I am craving to go to and it easy to see why. The place is really nice and modern and the colour scheme and the furniture gives the restaurant a cool classic vibe. The place is very clean and immaculate, which of course is a very important aspect of a restaurant, especially at this tough time of COVID-19. The staff there are always there to help you, greeting you with a warm welcome and a smile. The variety of food is alright and while you wait for your food, you will be served with some peanuts which really is a nice touch.
The food is nothing like anything else. The burgers are very flavourful and juicy and the fries, salted or spiced, are a must for your meal. If you don't fancy burgers, you can also get grilled cheese or other sandwiches. But in my opinion, the best thing on the menu is the classic milkshake. They come in many different combos and flavours and it definitely adds to your meal.
Overall, I think that this is a great place to eat and I recommend you try it.
L. S.
A little piece of America right in London. Perfect fix for my cheeseburger obsession. This is a juicy slider with the right mustard/ketchup/onions/pickle combo. The location was clean, and followed all guidelines. Fries were perfectly cooked. Will definitely return.
R. E.
Fantastic burger and fries. The burgers are a little more expensive than other places but are really tasty. They dont scrimp on the fries either, you get a lot for your money. Will definitely eat here again.
V. S.
Large chips means too much for one. I could not eat all despite I was very hungry. Nothing special, other chains MD and BK sell the same 4 times cheaper.
S. F.
Good. Not your average american fast food place. Liked it a lot
J. C.
Great fast service and always good burgers
S. H.
Five Guys always delivers the goods. Friendly staff, quick service and mindblowingly good burgers. The bacon cheeseburger 'all the way' is the real deal. Couldn't recommend enough.
W. S.
Food is as always, amazing. The sakes are pretty near perfect too!
s.
Food was delicious. Excellent, fast service. Tge place was very clean
l. m.
My friends and I had a great food there. Very polite with me and funny ! I love the burger was really good
M. S.
By far the best fastfood / Burger joint in London. 👍
M. “. E.
This was probably one of the best experiences I've ever had in a fast food restaurant, this actually fills you up with one burger and fries unlike other places.
u. f.
Five guys is great, lovely food and not unreasonable wait times, though it is a bit longer than your average fast food chain
J. M.
One of the best burgers I have ever had, so much flavour will definitely be coming back.
M. A.
The fries are always unbeatable and the staff always offer great customer service!
H. K.
Tasty fast food, lots of seating available when we arrived.
A. A.
Great hamburgers, fresh ingredients and a very cozy place. A great place with a very friendly staff!!!
Italiani, che dire, un posta da provare assolutamente se vi trovate in zona!
F. R.
Best five guys. Great service. Excellent after a few drinks around Covent Garden.
B. C.
The best team and food ever! I enjoyed eating my lunch and the quality of serving was at the highest standard. I have asked the name of that manager who was so nice to me: George thank you for the best service provided! You made my day!
C. S.
We went to the National Gallery and wanted a quick bite before heading home. We saw Five Guys on the corner near Charing Cross Station and thought we would give it a go. We had burger and chips. It was alright but nothing special expect for the chips.which were fabulous but at £5.50 per large portion they need to be. I have been told different branches are better. We might try the Angel one next time.
R. S.
As an American ex-pat, delighted that the London version every bit as good as the US version!
A. C.
Could not hear the staff member when taking the order. One was very quiet the other very loud, when next to each other I couldn't hear the quiet one.
Disappointed by the veggie option - Just mushrooms in a bun.
The place itself was clean, and people being reminded to wear masks.
I. A.
Love this place , nice burger, milkshake and chips 😋
C. j.
Always a good solid burger.
D. W.
What's not to like? Five Guys' very rich, customisable burgers, ample fries and refill soft drinks with a positive plethora of options!
r. r.
Good food as usual.
Limited seating for dine in
C. K.
Five Guys is always my favourite Burger Restaurant, first time for me was in the US. I was really happy to find them in London. Best Burger, Best fries cajun style, lovely Shakes.....I always will come back.
S. F.
As always, the place is amazing. I'd only been to the Glasgow one, but no matter where it is, it's still the bees knees.
G.
Excellent service. Excellent food! Was first one through the door. Plenty spaces to sit.
G. K.
If you want a great burger the Five guys will definitely sort you out. I enjoyed my burger.
R. D.
Excellent burger had many times but is getting a bit pricey . £18.95 for bacon cheeseburger regular fries and coke.
S. G.
I'll be honest I live a five guys, but the one in Milton Keynes is just better!
D. S.
Busy branch, food was good staff could have been more communative about how things worked.
L. M.
Great tasting food but be careful with your toppings can make the bun very soggy
R. B.
Good service, food and milkshake done well.
M. T.
Overall a good meal, nice crispy fries and refillable drinks, only problem was the top half of my cheeseburger was cold for some reason.
M. M.
Plan before you go. Food was good but you need to understand how the menu works. 2 large fries was too much for a family of five! Without this understanding the bill was significantly higher than I had expected for a quick burger on the way to the theatre.
F. D.
The best quality fast food. We took large fries to share, portion was massive. Barely finished it wow. But taste of them. I have never ever tasted fries like this. So amazing, fresh, crispy and the taste yummy. You can also have some peanuts on the house. You can build Burger in your way. Not the cheapest fast food but worth for quality.
J. K.
The best cheeseburger in town It was juicy, tasty and perfectly complemented by all the way toppings. It was bloody good 😍 Complimentary peanuts while waiting for my burger was a bonus !
Cheeseburger with cajun fries on the side it was seriously good omg the dessert shakes strawberry cheesecake It was a delight 🥰
Perfect location (charing cross) with polite and friendly staff 👍
Defo will come back soon x
L. J.
Hot dog with all the works was yummy and filling. Eating areas a bit congested.
C. W.
Liked the food. Staff friendly and place clean. Found that it had too many tables in a small area.
d. v.
Decadent, sinful but totally worth the calories. Sharing is caring (and also calories managing) Ifl free peanuts!
B. C.
Awesome burger! Delicious fries too
M.
Same as every other 5 guys, expensive but very good burgers and milkshakes.
J. N.
One of the best burgers I have had went with a friend.
A. D.
This was my first time at five guys. It was pretty good overall and I liked how many options there were. The burger was good overall with a very generous portion of fries to go with it. My only issue is the cost really as I do not think I can justify paying that much each time.
L. R.
I Love 5 guys.
I can't live without 5 guys..
But i have to say that the quality dropped a bit..😢 not for food but for the way of making It..
the ingredients were cold and i tried to eat much betterb in this Place.
Anyway.. all my respect to 5 guys💝
M. L.
For a Burger... EXPENSIVE. However, gorgeous burgers with lots of choices on toppings/adders, along with fries that are in their own food group! The shakes aren't too shabby either. Clean and fresh. Having said that, two full size burgers, large cajun fries and two shakes was north of £30. Walked out full and poorer but happy.
P. H.
A bit over hyped. Not very clean, all tables really needed a wipe down. Great selection of soft drinks and don't forget the free peanuts.
M. M.
Nice food, you can enjoy gluten-free burger or sandwich going bun-less with a lattuce bun, really nice idea! Has veggie options.
S.
Popped in here on a family trip to London yesterday having heard good things from people at work. Service was really quick, even though it was the start of the Tuesday evening rush hour. It's just a basic, typical fast food order and collect system but with loads of choice of burger toppings at no extra cost.
We chose to eat in among the many books and crannies that this restaurant has tables. The table and surroundings were good and clean and the staff really polite. Some surprise and delight things too like helping yourself to a plate of shells - on peanuts while you wait.
The burgers were excellent, perhaps cooked longer than I'd have ideally liked but hey its fast food so cooking to order is tricky. Proper, skins-on chips and the milk shake I had was really tasty, on the thick side if that's your thing - but that just means you can't drink it so fast you get brain freeze!
Chip portions are really generous, you can probably get away with less than you think you need.
Really enjoyed it, as did the kids 11 & 14. We'll definitely go again when we're all in London.
O. A.
Great burger place with good food and reasonable prices. Five guys is always bustling with people which speaks itself of the food it's serving. While menu is simple and not overly long, it only shows strong focus on few but good dishes. Burgers are nicely sized, tasty and prepared to order with plenty topping options available. The drinks are nice and include ever so popular milkshake. A good place to have a quick lunch, or a nice burger for a dinner.
M. W.
Not bad at all, not the best burgers and not the cheapest around but the fact you can pile on the toppings was amazing, the staff were friendly and even allowed me to sample a mix for the milkshakes prior to ordering it. Great little fast food food although the buns fall apart too easily and the security guard kept looking at me like I was about to steal the burger I had already paid for! He kept loitering by my table staring at me for most of my meal which I thought was rude, yeah maybe i was the only black person in at the time but damn i am harmless. Apart from that it was a pretty decent experience.
S. G.
Wasnt my 1st visit
A proper burger
Well cooked
You add the extra's you like
R. T.
Best burgers and shekes I've ever had! A bit expensive for a fast food restaurant but definitely worth the price!
K. “. W.
I never eat at Five Guys before, but that changed my option about taste when it comes down to fast food.
Five Guys delivered be a really well burger, a really nice and helpful service, and a good experience.
The only downside is the price, which is understandable and acceptable.
Give it a try!
B. P.
Always a good burger and plenty of seating downstairs
R. R.
Great flavor of the food and being able to make a burger with the right ingredients is worth the price.
A. P.
Great burgers 🍔 ..
Brill service 👍
N. S.
Good burger served up fast and tasted great
S. B.
Very filling , great chips 👌🏼
J. L.
I do love Five Guys! This branch in particular were not overly friendly and could be a lot cleaner. The security guy on the door was the best thing about this location, aside from the food of course! Cleanliness and staff attitude needs to be improved somewhat in order to warrant a higher rating.
S. S.
Great burger and cajun fries, plus awesome service. Very attentive for first timers like me and my friend. Felt very safe, as everyone wears masks and gloves, sanitizers available, and very clean reataurant.
K. E.
During Covid-19, still open for takeaway. Much needed to finish my daily walk! Tasty fries and a juicy cheeseburger, exactly what was needed. Oh - and there's the option of HP Sauce as a free extra!
C. V.
Tasty burgers 🍔 but little expensive for a burgers. Probably because of location.
A. S.
Exquisite burgers spicy fries right by the station. All the guys were very friendly and helpful😋😋😋
R.
Amazing food, excelente place for eat
D. Y. K.
Friendly staff, nice vibe, easy to get to, good amount of seating, bit pricey but yummy American style fast food.
O. F.
It was our first time in a Five Guys restaurant at all. The staff was really patient since we were not familiar with the products. In the end we had delicious burger and fries. We are big burger fans and the ones from Five Guys are really worth to try. Fun fact for newbies: they have peanuts for free. Just grab a bowl and enjoy. PS: The jalapeños are really hot!
N. D.
Delicious. Wonderful burgers and fries. Expensive but worth it.
K.
This place offers what the standard of a good burger should be.
Lots of fries, even if you order the big one, you can share it with 3 people.
Shakes not bad.
Quick service.
Music sometimes too loud.
M. N.
Great burgers and nice staff. They don't have a lot of variety of burgers, but I prefer the simple ones so for me it is more than enough. The local is nice. Typical for a fast food brand but with nice decoration (American style) and cleaner than others. There are free peanuts around to grab if you want. And the option of filling your soft drink glass as much as you want. I would prefer to pay less for just one good coke, but unfortunately this is the fashion right now...
N. J.
Expensive but good quality burgers.
D.
Best fries of my life, honestly. I still await the day I can return to a country that has a Five Guys restaurant so that I may have more peanut oil fried chips. Apart from the mildly abusive, also foreign -and apparently entitled to my food and monetary donations- homeless man that had come in to use the facilities and beg for food; the experience was as it should be - delicious American style burgers and fries in a 50s themed diner.
M. M.
Love the burgers and the option to add fillings you want! I. Missed going here due to Covid but can't resist last time I passed by! 😁 Also love the cajun fries! But no more free peanuts! 😭
F. F.
Our party of 6 went there for dinner. We found Good burgers, tasty fries but at the end OMG the bill was skyrocketing! so if you are not afraid to pay almost 20pounds for a burger, some fries and a coke (with unlimited refill...) then you will enjoy the food.
N. G.
Solid burger franchise that continues to be pricey for what it is (compare and contrast to Honest Burger for example) but nonetheless offers a decent and consistent fast food experience. As well as the burgers, which tend to steal focus despite being a distinctive in a competitive market, the hot dogs (which can also be modified with whatever toppings you like) are a tasty treat, the Cajun fries are excellent and the do-it-yourself drinks machine remains magical wonderland of flavour experimentation (why have one drink at a time when you can mix six together at once?!)
P. G.
Excellent food as always. Love coming to five guys. Today worth the money
K. A.
place is clean and not too busy but food isn't great
G. A.
Great burgers, maybe the best in whole London, music litle bit loud
T. H.
One of the best burgers I've ever had. Make sure to check your receipt for any mistakes in your order, right after ordering. Milkshakes are also very delicious, along with the Cajun fries (even the small portion is very big by the way!)
T. B.
Ordered click snd collect. Fantastic food, even better friendly service. Thank you.
T. P.
Best burger and fries I've ever had
A. F.
The best burger, fries and shake I've ever had in my life!
L. C.
Enjoyed the burger with bacon and fries.
They never disappoint.
Will go back again when I am in the mood for a great burger.
A. J.
Great service and burger!
L. D.
This is perhaps the best burger and chips I had in my entire life!! The only thought of it makes me hungry. I'd say it's a higher level fast food, the price is higher (still rather cheap) but the quality really explains the difference in price. 100% worth it!

Great, tasty stacked burgers
M. V.
Five Guys are just fantastic! I cannot recommend enough to those who've never tried their food. It's a little more expensive than many would prefer to spend, but the extra price is well worth it. The burgers and hot dogs are delicious and simply the best I've ever eaten. Plus, you cannot go wrong one bit with the fries. I'd also recommend purchasing a regular drink. You can refill your drink at the Coca Cola machines in a diversity of flavours. Free peanuts are always there as well. This particular Five Guys establishment is convenient due to its location, but can get incredibly busy in the evening. Thank you Five Guys! :D
C.
Very good place to eat. Expensive, like everything in London.
L. M.
Just your typical five guys with amazing fries and burgers. The service was fast and helpful.
N. H.
Great burgers, friendly staff
L. I.
Great burger chain selling the tastiest burgers I've ever had. The portion sizes are epic as well, I once made the mistake of ordering a large fries! This branch gets a bit packed and as a result you can sometimes wait a bit for your food. However it is always worth it for the awesome burger! Plenty of seating spread across two levels.
G. R.
Just like the one near Leicester Square, this offers a pretty authentic Five Guys experience. The burgers are amazing and you get a ridiculous amount of fries (whatever portion you order, they'll chuck a bowl-full into the bag). The restaurant has a simple, clean style, which is down-to-earth and doesn't detract from what you're there to do, which is enjoy the great food - overall a pleasant place to be. My only gripe is the prices - £30+ for two of us to have a burger, fries and a soda each. Despite this, I'd still go back because Five Guys is awesome.
L. P.
The burgers aren't really all that special, but the ability to customise the fillings so much is very nice. Very wide range of soft drinks and great milkshakes. Service is fast and efficient, but will take longer than fast-food joints as it's all cooked to order
A. C.
The absolute best burgers I have ever eaten in my life, absolutely great. The fries are also amazing and the drinks are refillable. Everything is fried in peanut oil so be aware of that. Usually around €15ish for a meal but it's well worth the price
E. C. G.
They got the order wrong, very tight place, didn't saw the staff smiling.....
T. B.
Always great, quick and clean, great staff, haven't tried the milkshake yet but everyone else in the group had it and raved about it. Will have to try next time! Always love the customise functions for the burgers, always try different combinations!
R. G.
Amazing food and the staff were excellent especially the guy serving.
N.
Delicious Bacon Burger and salted chips, 5 Guys is the only fast food burger and chips I eat and recommend to friends. Now the bad news, it's impossible to drink an Oreo cookie smoothie through those paper straws, I used 4 separate straws to drink my smoothie, but the straws just disintegrated as I used them. In the end I had to leave my smoothie half full, I could drink it through the straw. Please rethink those paper straws, they may be environmentally friendly but I had to leave my smoothie half finished because I couldn't drink it through the straw.
G. C.
I was happy to find this Five Guys here, it's the best burger in the UK. While it costs a lot more than the US stores, the flavor is much the same - excellent! The fries are oddly short. I wonder if they are slicing across the potatoes instead of the long way... Visit and be happy.
N. M.
The quality of the burgers is great you can add as many toppings for free.. I would suggest not to order large fries as it's extremely difficult to finish them.. I'm not a fan of the seasoned fries personally. But everything else is awesomeness
P. P.
Always cheerful, always plentiful and always clean, nice guys (n gals)
S. C.
I wondered what all the hype was about. After all, a burger is just a burger, right?
Wrong.
This was my only meal of the day, and boy was it a good one! Yes,it is a little on the pricy side, but this is what a gourmet burger SHOULD be like, without all of the ponce associated with gourmet food.
You're not comparing this to Micky D's cardboard abominations. Solid burger, fried to perfection, with just the right amount of juice left in the burger, to make the while experience that little bit more pleasurable. This is a real burger, made to your specifications.
Highly recommended.
D. O.
Good quality fast food. Burgers are fresh, fries are good. Space is clean. Service is fast and friendly. Not the best Five Guys I've been to but pretty decent.
Y. S. (.
Love the bacon burgers! The size is pretty big... love the fries too. Too full for me if I have to take Burgers + Fries + Milkshake! Love it! A Must try in London! Not too fancy and not too expensive either!
T. P.
Chips are amazing, the burger was good I enjoyed the fact that you can pick as many toppings as you like included in the price. Bit pricey so not somewhere we would go regularly but would defo go back, shakes are so thick and creamy yum but oh the chips well worth going just for the chips.
B. S.
Amazing customer service by Konrad 😘❤Thank you
G. D.
There were 3 guys and 2 girls serving 😀 but hey, it made no difference!
This outlet is cool as it provides free nuts which are rather fresh and tasty.
Centrally located on a very busy street but we always got a place/table to eat.
A good hamburger place that lets you choose what to add to your hamburger from a large selection.
The fries are massive portions , i recommend the cajun fries they are very spicey.
Drinks are refillable.
Cool place
G. C.
Good food, well made burgers. Chips are awesome.
The only reason why I gave 3 star. Because their prices are too high, on the board their deals not including the VAT to make their prices look cheaper. And other burgers are cheaper for similar quality.
O. T.
Delicious burgers, with fries a plenty!! Everything suuuuper tast and I love the fancy drinks machines. Free peanuts always welcome, and the decor is very welcoming. My only issue was that the music was very very loud and we couldn't concentrate!! Hard to have a conversation and especially difficult as I took someone mildly autistic and we had to leave as soon as we had eaten. Besides that all was lovely x
H. U.
Add the right sauces and toppings (the more the better!) and you'll have yourself a truly great burger. I just wish they'd turn the noise level down a bit. The burgers are a 5/5 in the league they are playing in.
Ž. S. M.
Great burgers, a bit pricey tho
P. G.
Great food but far too many fries. There was enough for 3 people!! I'm sure overweight people would love this but for normal size is far too much. What's normal? Well if you read that the average person is overweight than that tells to something 😁
D. O.
The burgers here are expensive and you have to wait a while for them as they seem to be cooked to order... but it's worth the wait as the burgers are both tasty and amazingly greasy! If you don't ask for a "little" burger, then you get a double! Bottomless drinks in endless flavours... Can't stop going back!
N. A. [. A. o. t. T.
You could call it little America inside of London. The music that was played just screams America, not literally but it might as well. The food is amazing. Burgers are just right and the fries are godlike. No soggy fries like at some McDonald's, but actual good fries. Free refills is always a godsend, even though it's expensive as hell. Around 6 pounds is the starting price for a burger, which is without a drink or fries, those are seperate. That price can go up to nearly 10 pounds when you pick the other burgers. Fries aren't too expensive, but not cheap either. And a drink costs £3.5 which is a fair price considering that you can refill the thing as much as you like.
There are a ton of flavours of drinks as well.
E. S.
Good service, a little smaller than others. Standard 5 guys food
B. C.
As Always ...the Burgers and shakes are the best
C. N.
A lot of people complain that Five Guys are overpriced compared to other fast food chains, but the quality of the food is on a completely different level. Yes, it's still fast food, but it's much more satisfying than other big chains and you're paying for the convenience and quality combo! You can have fast/good/cheap... Choose two! Music is usually a touch too loud, but it does what it says on the tin.
V. C.
Well.. I love 5 guys burgers, but the craziness comes with the chips - they are amazing with the tons of ketchup and mayo.. but also on their own with it salt. Yummy! I would recommend more cleaning around the tables and searing areas, thats all folks!
G. T.
This five guys is wonderfully placed, it's a five minute stroll from embankment, and a further five minute stroll to Trafalgar Square. There is a good selection of shops nearby and plenty of seating inside. The staff are very fast with processing orders and when you order a milkshake you can add as many flavours as you want! Lovely customisation on the food, for a place that really only has a few options, it's so hard to get the same thing twice!!!
Super generous with the fries too, always go for a regular! It'll feed 2 people!
A. H.
The Cajun fried are great. Probably the best fries amongst the fast food joints. I like how Five Guys allows you to choose as many toppings as you want, for free.
J. G.
Initially I refused to get Five Guys because of the price but the burgers are so good it is completely worth it. Service from this particular one is always good and quick. Never wait long to order or wait for food. There isn't much seating but always manage to find somewhere in the end.
S. Q. L.
Good concept. A place of hamburgers, good tasting, retro decoration. Unlimited refill soda, with hundreds of flavor combinations (cola, artificially flavored fruit drinks, drinks with gas, without gas, etc.) You order the basic hamburger and then add included variety toppings and sauces to own taste.
M. P. (. P.
Free nuts while you wait and a perfectly simple menu to pick from with plenty of "free" toppings to choose from. The food is cooked freshly right there and they have a great selection of soft drinks, milkshakes and beers.
The price is on the stereo side in my option, but this isn't your average fast food burger joint.
J. D.
Kissed my woman for first time in here so it gets a 5 star rating from me 💋 also the food was banging
J. M.
Delicious but expensive burger. I liked the nice crispy bacon and the many options of toppings. But £8.75 for a double bacon cheeseburger is a lot, especially when they are only $8.49 in NY USA. Hard to say why the burger is better than others, but it is.
Fries were good and a regular (£4) was enough to share, although Cajun seasoning was a little overpowering for me.
I love Coke Freestyle so had three refills just to try plenty of combinations, but even that felt a little expensive.
Service was fine, served quick enough, but cashier couldn't understand when I asked if regular fries were big enough to share (they were). Also took a while for food to be ready, the burgers seemed to be assembled fresh and the sit for a minute or two while fries were scooped.
I'm sure I will be back, but it's a treat only due to the pricing.
Ed's is cheaper but not as tasty, GBK a little cheaper (and occasionally has offers) and GBK has better flavour combos. But compared to a "pub" burger that could also cost £11 with chips Five Guys is far superior.
R. Y.
Definitely my preferred burger vendor. The burgers and hot dogs are great and my favourite, the vegetable sandwich is very tasty and the chips, fried I'm peanut oil are superb, but expensive; however, the portions are generous, do go for small and you'll be more than happy with the portion size.
G. A.
My favourite fast food joint by a long shot. Can never get enough of their Cajun fries. Their milkshakes make a super-stylish addition to any ensemble too. Just ask Nigel Farage. What's not to love?
J. M.
Burger bar that does what it says on the tin. Can't fault the product, great burgers with any combination of toppings for no extra charge. Beware the chips - even the regular portions are large because they throw extra into the bags. Enjoy.
M. L.
Fantastic burgers 😋 nice food
B. D.
First time visiting. It was a little expensive but the service was great and the burgers tasty. You cam refill your drinks as much as you like. Ordered large fries and got so much. Couldn't eat it all.
T. M.
Would be nice if it was a bit cleaner, and I didn't find any bacon in my burger
E. G.
A very interesting format which I'm surprised hasn't been tried in this way in the UK before. Right from when you enter, the atmosphere is brilliant, an Americana vibe which is undeniably fun to be party to, rather than a painful, harsh american atmosphere which sometimes exists in such shops. The food is absolutely brilliant, a small menu on which everything is delicious and fresh. I had a cheeseburger and Cajun fries. Both the best I've ever had. What's more, the sit down atmosphere they provide is one which means you won't want to leave: it was a struggle, especially with nice little extras like the Coca-Cola Freestyle self service drink mixing machines and the complimentary salted peanuts dotted around the restaurant. Overall, very delicious, very fun, but also fairly expensive, at about £10-13 per person for a good meal. That said, it was an experience which was well worth the money.
K. B.
A wide variety of food options and great if you're a burger fan. The service is quick and easy as well as having a variety of places to sit. Despite being busy, it is always clean and the staff are friendly.
N. A.
Not just a fast food: burgers here taste differently... Much better than other places. Free peanuts while you wait. Usually very busy, hard to find a table.
M. F.
Just as delicious as the Five Guys I visited in NYC - amazing fries, amazing burgers. If you've not tried Five Guys yet, you really owe it to yourself to do so. I had the spicy fries - they're properly spicy! A medium fries was a little bit too much (very generous portions - it's a positive really) so I reckon a small would be sufficient. Why are you still reading this? Go buy a burger!
D. F.
It was fine. Better than McDonald's. Music was way too loud. But you get what you expect and for that they do a good job. I feel they've become quite a chain and didn't expect to see one outside of the USA but I guess they've expanded to London, or maybe they've always been here... Who knows!
A. A.
We had a spare hour to nip out and get some office supplies. We took the opportunity to get lunch at the same time.
5 guys in Charing cross, was swift of service. The staff were very welcoming and offered all the usual toppings and extras.
I had never had the hot dog before. I chose the bacon cheese dog with grilled onions, pickles , ketchup and mustard. Along with a fries to share, this meal was more than filling. The fries were not only generous but crispy and tasty.
There was plenty if seating, and it was clean.
C. G.
Decent enough burger and chips. The prices aren't that great but you get a lot of chips with your order and plenty of choice with regards to drink from the machines.
The restaurant itself isn't bad, it feels like it needs a clean but it's alright otherwise.
S. T.
If you like burgers and choices, you’ll enjoy a visit to Five Guys.
Their unique selling point is that the customer can choose as many toppings as they want - sauces, pickles, mushrooms, etc.
The milkshakes are worth saving space for - and they’ll let you mix, so try the chocolate and peanut butter!
M. B.
It is what it is! Really fresh fast food with an absolutely overwhelming amount of choice for fizzy drinks on tap. The lack of food options is a bit of a let down but I guess that is why what they serve is so good. They stick to what they are good at and make it better than anyone else. Great place to sit and chill
S. J.
It Five Guys, so the burgers and fries are great. And the atmosphere is as warm and cool as usual, but the whole restaurant is a bit small and the stairs downstairs are way to narrow. U can't go passed a person coming from the opposite site!
G. D.
Great staff great burgers
I. r.
Can't beat 5 guys for the best burgers
J. L.
Fairly tasty but way overpriced for a fast food outlet. Greasy. Not as good as I hoped. Free Monkey nuts and the choice of drinks the were best thing. Dont like sharing my table space with a sack of potatoes either.
P. P.
Fairly good. Standard five guys restaurant. Clean and fast.
M. E.
My first time here and initially I thought that I might be disappointed. I was soooo wrong. Amazing burger and possibly the best fries I've ever had. Will definitely visit again. Might try the one in Exeter next time. Oh and the milkshake was fantastic too. So thick and tasty....
R. A.
Great burgers, fries and milkshakes. Friendly staff and no a long queue. Seating area is limited due to the size but caters for groups as well as individual stools.
R. H. C.
Best burger fast food!! They are usually crowded but it's so worth it. You can have lunch for less than 10£. The foods in general are good and big, they have a soda fountain with a never ending variety of drinks.
L. M.
I can't fault Five Guys. It's a great experience from start to finish, from the peanuts you can eat for free while waiting in line to the great food and the extra load of amazing fries.
This Five Guys is a little cramped upstairs, so the queue doesn't really know where to go, and then you have to cross back to get your food. There are lots of nice little random places to sit, though, and more seating than you realise - as well as more seating downstairs. Food service is pretty quick and the burgers - what an amazing burger! It's hard to describe why they're so much better than your typical fast food chain, but they are, from the patties to the toppings.
p. s.
Nice the best burger on my London stay.
k. L.
Not cheap but delicious hamburgers that are huge. Added as much greenery and sauce as you like. Baked in peanut oil. All fresh. Huge portions of fries, so just take a small one (enough for two!)
A. B.
Lovely hotdog! Good prompt service.
J. A. B.
Great burgers. Unlimited toppings. Combo soda machine is good, raspberry/cherry/vanilla coke is my choice
It's fairly priced compared to pub food locally, but of course the burgers are cheaper at McDonald's
B. L.
Really good value for money, struggled to eat the meal as it was so large
N. B.
I love Five Guys. I know them from the US and it's as authentic as it gets. The burgers are exceptional. The prices are crazy high, kind of ok for the price level in London but still high. Still delicious though. Would visit again.
H. D.
Came here as lockdown restrictions was lifted- social distancing measures were good and it wasn’t crowded. Alina at the cash register was very friendly and happy and all the staff were clean, friendly and attentive. Would come here again :)
G. K.
This place is my new fave after a late night out. Lovely staff members and amazing food. Especially loved their shakes and their fries are unbelievable. They also have the large coke mix kiosks that let you mix what flavor you want. It certainly makes the old McDonalds format look quite tired. Great place and great food. More expensive than McDs but you get what you pay for!
T. M.
Best Fries or Chips in London ,burgers not bad either and the shakes are to die for. Really nice place hadn't seen or heard of this chain till we went here for Dinner. Really nice.
M. P.
Regards my sweetnesses, I recently took a coach trip out to Londinium and found myself feeling rather peckish during the noon. I utilised my telemobular device to locate a speedy food chain. I was directed to 'Five Guys' by my dear companion Googel. I came to the door when I was informed that I would have to wait to enter the premesis. The man on the door directed my sight to the big sign that said 'five guys' and proceeded to explain that only 5 males were permitted inside the restaurant at one time. I had to wait 42 hours to enter the restaurant by which time my coach had departed home and my legs had to turned to jelly. My walking stick clearly wasn' enough. I had a eureka moment as I struck the doorman with my stick, fatally wounding him. I bounded into the chain and ordered a quadruple bacon cheeseburger and consumed my luscious food with great malice. Overall the policeman who took me home to my new residence was very friendly, but I am not a fan of the iron bars on the window. Thank you youngens have a blessed day. P.s. could have done with more ketchup.
m. s.
The burgers are fairly decent and well portioned. But they really should automate away the surely staff that take the orders, not the sort of people you’d want to intrust any smidgen of power.
B. K.
Excellent burgers with ingredients you choose, at no extra cost. The fries are amazing too. Only thing i didn't like, was the loud music, but i'm old, so the you go :-)
G. C.
Cheap american style burgers at a reasonable price. The place has a quite fast-food like atmosphere, with the smell of fried oil and all; the variety of burgers you can get is pretty good, especially since you can personalize your burge with additional ingredients.
The posters on the wall show (real or fake?) publicity for the Five Guys chain on several famous newspapers and magazines, which can be fun to look at while you wait for your burger to cook; you won't have to wait much anyway as service is pretty quick.
They serve soda drinks with free refills so you could theoretically share one across the family (you didn't hear this from me though)
R. R.
Infinitely better than McDonald's or Burger King, this place purely functional to produce a better burger, fries and a shake. Since it's all about the juicy, quality burger, I recommend that you escape the sterile wipe clean restaurant and head for the lush green park at the bottom of the hill by Embankment Station and enjoy.
S. E.
This burger bar is perfectly situated at the top of Villiers Street by Charing Cross station. Burgers and hot dogs are around £8, to which you can add 14 extra toppings. I had a hot dog with bacon and extra onions, mushrooms and peppers. While you're waiting for your foil-wrapped food bundle, you help yourself to a cold drink from a machine with a generously-sized paper cup. Chips are served in the same size cup, which they put in a bag and chuck extra chips on top (almost doubling the quantity). The wait for your food is perhaps a little long, but it is very tasty and sizeable (the hot dog has two sausages not one). The chips are delicious. The decor is brightly lit, red and white industrial, which is clean and functional. All in all a good experience, which I'd gladly repeat.
P. F.
I really liked it here. The food was good. It was really nice to be able to order a burger and that be just a burger, if you want extras you add them, for free, not have to ask to have it without XYZ.
J. H.
Love five guys but it is very expensive for what it is. Almost 30 quid for 2 burgers one fries and one drink. This branch is quite small and seating a bit cramped but food was up to usual high standards.
V. S.
High end posh burger and you can choose which toppings to go with. It generally makes a sloppy mess, but a delicious sloppy mess. Only go for the little cajun fries- they're enough for 2 hungry adults. And have fun at the soft drinks machine. A lot of flavour combinations you can try and with bottomless drinks..
H. V.
A great place with fast service had a veggie sandwich which was delicious, lots of chips can easier share with another person. Milk shakes are delicious. Salted monkey nuts while you wait for order to be ready. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
R. H.
Good food, really quick service. Only downside is a lack of seating (or just how busy it is in general). My experience was around 20.30 so may well have been busier than normal due to pub-goers looking for grub.
I. F.
Great burgers and cajun style fries.... Go here don't go anywhere else for that fast food fix as it's fast food made well. Lots of toppings to choose from and great friendly service even when they are rushed off their feet!
W. P.
Standard burger, extra patty, all the way. Awesome! Fast, efficient service too. I really like the free peanuts too. I always find a pocketful of empty shells the next day :)
D. R.
Extremely friendly staff, much better than any fast food restaurant could be reasonably expected to have. The food is pricey but delicious. The salted caramel and Oreo milkshakes are particularly good!
D. U.
Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for mistake they made with my order. But they apologised and gave me complimentary fries. Very clean place and nice staff
M. K.
Nice burgers. Extremely filling. But I couldn't help thinking how much damage to the environment I had contributed to by eating meat. Maybe Five Guys will come up with a soya alternative..? 🐮.
K.
Great decor and service. Went to five guys for the first time and was pleasantly suprised. The food was great be it a little over priced but it was served quickly and i also had the woman taking the order kindly explain the whole menu to me and the different selections and combinations that were avaliable.
Above average fast food with the price to match.
B. J.
For anyone who's grown up in Northern Virginia, USA, Five Guys is well known. I've been eating these burgers since I was probably 10 years old... so a couple decades plus... One of the few places to find a Five Guys in Europe is London. Great food, same atmosphere with random piles of peanuts throughout the place (don't go here if you're peanut allergic haha). Highly recommend for a little bit of American burger culture or to grab a Five Guys if you live overseas like me and don't get back to the States often.
E. B.
Always happy with the Five Guys burger. Nice touch to offer salted monkey nuts while you wait for your food. The drinks dispenser is fun too as you can try all sorts of soft drinks...for instance coke with cherry, vanilla, lime etc...
l. d.
tasty burgers and fries but also seriously expensive definitely worth a visit as a treat
C. M.
Good filling hamburgers that you specify, and good portion s of sides. Tou have to wait a few minutes for them to build your burgers, but the wait is worth it.
p. s.
Very good staff were excellent and helpful definitely would recommend
C. C.
What's really good is how they prepare everything freshly on the day, including cutting up the real potatoes I believe. Tasty and fresh is hard to find with fast food these days, what about an organic version too?
R. S.
Over priced burgers that are just ok. Slow service. I've been a couple of times, probably wouldn't go again. Better burgers at the likes of Byron, gourmet burger etc for the same or even slightly cheaper, with table service and generally much better staff
W. M.
Great burgers! Five Guys is always clean, the staff lovely and the cheese burgers delicious...dearer than the big chains but wow, worth it because Five Guys is so much better!
G. R.
I love this place, they sell a refil so you can mix your own soft drink with a lot of flavours like cherry, lemon, like, orange, grape and many others. The chips with Cajun is perfect, it is a little bit spicy but not so much... get in and have a good time =)
L. L.
1 am not sure I have ever had such an outstanding cheeseburger and fries. On top of that the diet vanilla coke topped it all off. My wife and I ate so much at lunch that there will be no need for dinner tonight.
R. P.
Kind staff but I was attacked by the drinking machine.. lol
d. r.
clean, well designed, well thought through burger restaurant. choose from a good variety of burgers and then top it any way you want to. full "top row" is referres to as ALL THE WAY and includes sauted onion, ketchup, mustard and pickles.
Drinks refillable but be careful if you are allergic to certain fruits though i have been safe so far.
K. L.
Greasy, noisy, brightly lit venue with calorie laden, sugar filled fast food. Awesomely tasty for it though, who knew crumbled bacon would taste so good in a milkshake. Pretty damn delicious once in a while but you'll probably want to have salad for a week after. Not cheap but a lot less chemical than the major M named burger chain
J. B.
Decent interior design, good service, nice food
A.
The food, as always, is great with Five Guys. The ordering and service of food is quick, so you don't have to wait long for your meal to arrive. The only complaint I have is the lack of seating, but that is to be expected in a fast food restaurant in London.
G. I.
Fast food but good taste!
M. K.
Can never get bored of five guys. Best fries around!
T. S.
It was a great experience with a great burger.
D. B.
Best burguer in London. I never saw in other places (being a MC Donalds guy I have a lot to learn) the topping options. Nice place, good service, but a tip: Avoid the Cherry Coke! Besides that, nice place
B. C.
Don't get me wrong the burger was tasty and the chilli seasoned chips were very good but £17 for a cheeseburger, chips and a soft drink is extortionate. Can't say I'll be going back by choice.
B. C. M.
The fries were really crunchy, not overly salted, simply delicious. The burgers were not that great though, but definitely better than a mc donalds or burger King (also more expensive than those).
A. B.
Always great burgers. Cooked well and they always have fresh and tasty toppings. The fries are pretty good too!
k. r.
Five guys serves the best burgers! Not to busy when i ordered so didnt have to wait too long. Made fresh to order, i got the bacon cheeseburger, which hit the spot!
J. p.
Rather splendid burger in which I opted for extra BACON. I enjoyed it so much that I snatched my bonbons burger (which included mushrooms 😧) and ate hers in one big bear bite. Moaned at her about the mushrooms though she knows bears do not eat these 💨😡💨🐻
S.
Amazing burgers, cool theme, and short waits. Prices are more expensive than McDonalds, but they are also larger and on a completely different level of quality. Very good burgers.
L. P.
Nice food but busy
E. L.
Delicious hot dog and Cajun fries. However, small portions and high prices. The hamburger was just ok; a bit too basic for its price.
R. G.
Good cheeseburger for late night
D. C.
Excellent food as usual. You just cannot beat these burgers. Great location for visiting museums and theatres. Quick service despite being busy. Friendly staff.
J. C.
Lovely and very helpful staff not to mention, fresh high grade burger patties and ingredients. Will definitely come back to this branch.
B. H.
I wish there was a 4.5 star option. I love Five Guys, can't fault it, although my favourite is still Shake Shack. A mark knocked off FG because £8.50 is a lot for a cheeseburger, especially if you only have one or two toppings. At busy times, the wait for your food after you order can seem a little long for a burger joint.
The real selling point of Five Guys is the range of options: any number of toppings for the same price, any number of milkshake flavours in the mix... Chocolate-cherry malted and a mushroom cheeseburger with jalapeños, yes please.
C. C.
One of the best burger and fries and milkshakes I've ever had!
I would highly recommend that less is more when ordering your toppings and remember you can mix the milkshake flavours!
J. Z.
Very tasty food, I'm also a fan of the selection of salad. The drink variety is impressive.
It's quite expensive for what it is though.
Also I know it's personal opinion but the decor has a pretty grim feel to it.
J. H.
The seating arrangements were a bit awkward upstairs. The seating areas are to big so only had one person sitting on them. I didn't like the look of downstairs so didn't go down there. Food was as good as ever.
R. R.
Lots of seating areas.... not that madness busy...
j. c.
Since it opened a few years ago in England, and everyone saw the video of the guy singing about his burger on YouTube, it's been old news that five guys is the best value burger in London. For eating in a great atmosphere until you can hardly walk, there's just no better. However, charing cross branch have taken it to the next level, with the nicest, most chilled out staff ever. Genuinely nice and happy people behind the counter set you up to enjoy yourself before you've even sat down. For anyone who knows how great five guys is already or someone looking to break their five guys virginity, this is a must visit. Prepare your gut.

Beautiful food. Fresh

Really close to Bank station. Food was great tasting and plentiful. Seating arrangement is easy and the order system is straight forward, just keep your ears open and your headphones off.
J. M.
Pricey but great burgers.
We're regulars whenever in London, as such we usually know what we want and as such, the Five Guys app is a must have. Whilst running late to get to the IMAX I was able to order literally on the move and or meal was ready for us as we passed by. No queues, no fuss.
Use the app!!!

Probably the best burgers in town, not the typical fast food. Directly from the East Coast to London. Everything is sourced locally and also fries have specified where are them from and fried in peanut oil.
E. K.
Busy place, nice staff. The food is kinda greasy but anyway what do you expect from a fast food, however you can choose several toppings. The meat is the real deal. The soda is quite expensive but you get free refills, so make sure that you arrive thirsty ;)
F. J.
Fresh food and friendly service at the tills and on collection of your order. The restaurant is clean with a good layout of large, medium & small tables. Its family & group friendly. The food was delicious!
M. S.
Amazing juicy burger and great customers service ,
Well done 5 guys keep it up :)
R. S.
Not bad, but has gone a bit downhill post COVID.
N. L.
Really great place to have the best burgers.
Universal standards and add what sides you want.
Great service and decent quality.
A. G.
Based on my first expirience i had in Five Guys, its just delicious! I am but indeed still wondering how people can go to MC Donalds when you have a restaurant like Five guys in your area. Service is nice and helpfull, food is delicious and you get something worth of your money.
T. s.
A bit pricy... One of the best berger in London.
M. O.
The burger is super yummy! The cajun spiced chips are awesome. Had a fantastic lunch today. Five guys, five stars!
R. C.
I love this place and the food is amazing!
S.
Stopped here for a quick bite after getting off of the underground. The customer service is very much lacking to the stores in the US and I felt rushed when ordering. The food was on point with what I would expect from Five Guys and they had a clean bathroom
D. C.
I was serving a meal with my family there and was a real pleasure . One of the managers was very nice to us helping with all our requests.
P. H.
I do like a 5 guys but it's a rare treat as spending £20 for a burger and fries is rather extravagant, when they're not *that* much better than a McDonald's. But they do do (hehe do do) bacon milkshake so worth a visit for that.
D. S. d. R.
I would give it 3.5 but 3 may be on the low side. Prices are not cheap but portions are big, and the chips are super-tasty. Can't compare to GBK, Byron, Haché or other 'finer' burger joints, but it is definitely one step above McD's (closer to Burger King).
The fact that they open lathe gives them extra points.
J. C.
Food was OK and the burgers were freshly cooked. Bacon milkshake novelty was worth a punt
However the ambience was jarringly bright and buzzy. Really busy with lots of weary looking tourists!
M. S.
Large portions, best tasting burgers and awesome fries fried only on peanut oil, hand made without any additives. Definitely worth the price.
G. M.
If you're looking for a juicy, fresh beef burger that's still cooked fast enough to be classed as fast food, look no further. Don't forget the Cajun fries and milkshakes!! BOOM 👌
E. S.
I can here for lunch after visiting one of the nearby art museums; it was pretty expensive as far as burgers go, it was about 8 pounds for my burger, the line was very long and moved quite slowly but the food was really great, I had a cheeseburger and a vanilla milkshake and I really enjoyed the free peanut baskets which were everywhere and all the posters on the walls with various celebrities recommending the place.
N. “. K.
Love a five guys burgers from time to time! You always seem to get served with more chips than you ever want which is a bit of a waste. Love the milkshakes as well!
M. B.
Great place. Though a little pricey. Food was Really nice and they even replaced a burger that our 1yo knocked on tge floor whwn openeing. Best to get 1 large chips between like 3-4 of you
C.
In this place i swear that i've eaten the best hamburger ever. I had also the possibility to add other ingredients with the standard hamburger. The meat was incredible. When I will return to London I will go here again surely
m. s.
I goddamn LOVE Five Guys. This is probably the location I've been to most due to it being next to Charing Cross station.
If you've not eaten here before, be warned that the burgers are big. I usually go for the Little Cheeseburger, which is the size of a BK Whopper or something like that. Likewise, the small fries are ENORMOUS. Don't over order.
I also love the mix and match soda machine. You can create some unholy concoctions...

A handy stop for a good feed before venturing home on a rainy night. I had walked from Portman Square towards Waterloo station on a filthy night of rain and wind. Seemed like a good idea but it wasn't. By the time I got to Charing Cross I was fading with hunger and soaking wet. I needed somewhere with tasy food and no "airs and graces" where I could fill up fast. The Five Guys on Villers Street was busy but I was served really fast and my burger was ready in minutes. Superb. Really tasty. I was asked what I wanted on it. I had no idea how things worked. The server on the till asked if I wanted to go "All the way"..weird...apparently that means all the standard toppings and is written on a board...it was easy just to say "Yes" and I'm glad I did. Got a soft drink too, didn't feel like beer which is also on sale. Though busy there were plenty of seats and everywhere was clean and tidy. In half-an-hour I was feeling normal again. While some tables were occupied by groups, I noticed that a steady flow of people were there on their own, probably seeking a moments shelter and a recharge just like me, before heading off to whatever they had planned that evening. It works.
A. F.
Very nice burguers, by fast food standards. And that is the reason for not having more than 3 stars: it is still a fast food chain, but with the prices of a restaurant.
F. D.
Great food as always. The sitting area is a bit chilled.
L. P. C.
Best burger in any town where there is a five guys... Juicy patties topped with savory melted cheese...soft bread... Delicious...tons of French fries...
G. H.
Great-tasting food, lots of seats to choose from, and plenty of choice with regard to burger toppings, drinks and sauces. The staircase to the lower level was very narrow and impossible to climb or descend upon if anyone was passing in the other direction however, which made it a little uncomfortable.
S. L.
The best burger I ever had
R. U.
Absolutely love love love five guys!!!! Their beef is out of the world and the cajun fries are to die for. Remarkably the staff of both the villiers street branch and the angel street branch are super friendly. I especially love how they really go overboard with their portions with regards to fries.
H. S.
Such good burgers and cajun fries. Not a regular fast-food eater but it's hard to resist falling for it every once in a while.
M. R.
Five guys offers great burgers and the kids loves being able to chose their toppings and getting peanuts while waiting. The Charing Cross location has several smaller rooms with tables, giving a less stressful experience. We've been to this location on a few occasions and haven't experienced a long waiting time at neither.
L.
Great for a really tasty bite to eat before seeing a show. Nothing flashy but so delicious! A bit pricey for a big family though but worth it as a treat.
C. D.
The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The burger was a decent size with 2 patties, cheese and crispy bacon on the bottom.
A. W.
Quick service but the place feels cramped. There are toilets on site and quite a bit of seating but it's down narrow stairs and everything is close together. If I had limited mobility or had a push chair I'd want to order on line, send someone else in to pick it up and eat off site.
J. F.
A classic Five Guys. Great American smash patty burgers. Great fries. Great drinks. Can't ask for much more from them really.
K. L.
Delicious juicy burger that you can choose from a selectuon of 15 toppings. Finger licking good cajun fries and unlimited drink refills from Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, Schweps, Powerade all including diet and zero sugar options each with many different flavours. Free complementary peanuts while waiting which you dont have to for long ;) Great place overall
G. H.
Probably the best Burger ive ever had! Great place to bring your kids if you have kids. It has a lovely bright decor and the staff are friendly.
R. H.
Great place , fast food
A. A.
Really amazing food and service. Super friendly and professional staff. You couldn't ask for more!
S. J.
Not bad but very expensive
K. L.
Possibly the best fast food burger (and chips) I've ever had! A bit pricey (but standard for London, I suppose). Definitely recommend you try this at least once!!
J. J.
Cool burgers exactly how you want them. Cooked to order very tasty with lots of chips. Happy days, shakes are good too
D. S.
It might be pricey for a take out but it is easily the best burger you can get from a restaurant without going somewhere super fancy.
K. B.
Too many fries but burgers are very good
L. C.
Good burgers and fries, not cheap but tasty. Go for the smaller burger size if not ravenously hungry, it's still big by burger standards. Quick service.
A. S.
The burgers were nice but I saw more than five guys so I felt like I was lied to. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars, because I'm betraying you as well.
S. H.
I was served by a lovely spanish girl but I had a card to reedem so the manager or other girl come to help her and this girl was so rude I'd never been served so poorly. Regarding the food nice burgers and good portion of large fries but so expensive large menú around £18
d.
Nice Burger with different toppings!!
J. H.
I've never been to a bad five guys, the burgers toppings, fries, shakes and the soda fountain are all on point, you basically can custom create your own meal. My favourite is double bacon cheese with grilled onions, jalepinos, ketchup and mayo accompanied by a grape and peach Fanta. My only gripe is they use fresh jalepinos over pickeled ones, maybe I'll try adding some normal pickles in my next burger too.
S. W.
Great burgers, but they are expensive. Its just not value for money.
P. J. N.
No trays to take food to the table, which means the tables are gonna be all dirty, but the good news is they have people always cleaning, so if there's a table empty you just need to wait a few seconds for it to be cleaned
B. C.
Always great. Excellent fries, delicious meaty burgers and I always really appreciate the ability to choose your own toppings.
T. K.
Always like their simple way of doing burgers plus the Cajun fries are excellent. The new salted caramel shakes are delicious too.
C. M.
Great burgers and skin on fries. Expect to pay more than your usual fast food but it's well worth it.
R. C. (. W. W.
Great food but pricey. Fries were the best part and I'd recommend the hot dogs over the burgers.
N. S.
Decent burgers and a wide array of toppings. Outside of burgers and chips, not a lot of choice. Seating fills fast during peak meal times.
d. Y.
Amazing burgers, cheaper costs than other places, and you can customize your order. Highly recommend!
S. W.
I kept on shoving chip after ship straight into my never ending gullet. I devoured that burger like a lion munching on a gazelle by the watering hole. And then the milkshake, oh the milkshake, I'm actually crying just thinking about it - tears of joy I might add.
You can sit down at a resteraunt with your fancy knife and forks if you like. Or you can awaken the beast inside, and get your primal on the go.
Oh and the loos are pretty clean too.
M. B.
Very tasty burger, chips were ok but I would recommend this spot
K. W.
To be fair, it was very tasty, but £30 for a dirty burger and milkshake for two is a bit steep. They were doing good business though so obviously others didn't agree
t. p.
Nice decor always loud. Young crowd. Burgers are sloppy, presentation needs to improve across the board. Should have ordered the small size burger.
H. T.
Friendly staff, quick service, very good - eating area was a little messy BUT we went in straight after the lunch time rush. Highly recommend chocolate and peanut butter milkshake. SO SO GOOD
R. T.
Food is better than the other fast food places you know the ones I mean. Very busy and hard to get a seat. But worth the wait.
A. P.
Good for what it is. Quick service with plenty of food and drink to choose from. No hot drinks though... But can't grumble too much as my burger and chips were lush
L. Z.
Good ol' five guys. Decent fast food. Surely not the worst choice in London and I love the fountain drink machine. Cherry diet Dr pepper? Sign me up!
h. s.
Fatty tasty burgers which we all hate yet love at the same time ! I won’t come everyday coz it’s expensive , very expensive but I’ll still come again. Sorry for the confusion but it’s a love love love hate relationship shop
S. T.
It was a rainy Wednesday night and my lover and I had just come from an extraordinarily magical evening but then
we met Suzanna
Suzanna was the most incredibly knowledgable and accomodating restaurant hostess we had ever met. She was the most perfect combination of approachable and captivating that I have ever experienced in my 38 years of life. We originally wanted a cheesey burger but Suzanna tastefully explained the highlights of the menu. Beyond this, as a human being, she was a really stylish and cool chick.
Thank you suzanna i will never forget your uncompromising dedication to your service and your craft.

Fantastic fast food joint just off Strand. Great location to pop by on a busy night and grab a soul-soothing greasy burger with overflowing Cajun fries alongside the evening crowd.
J. R.
Quick service, great food. Always clean.
v.
The best burger world-wide. About 13-18 pounds per person with fries and unlimited Coke.
P. H.
Burgers are great, but pricey for a posh takeaway. You get plenty of fries though, so if you're on a budget consider sharing a portion.
S. W.
What’s not to like about this place! One of the best places for a burger in London. Nice location if you’ve just missed your train 😉
I. M.
Best high street chain burger. If you like Five Guys try Black Bear and Bleecker, they'll top it x
M. A. M. S.
The burgers are the same from others Give Guys, that means they are the best burgers ever, juicy, flavorful, a true gift from God (chose whatever God you like or default to Chuck Norris if you're an atheist).
T. S.
Really tasty burgers that are much better quality than McDonald's etc however, it's much more expensive so you get what you pay for. Cajun fries are way too salty for my liking.
G. Ö.
well really best burgers ever but still too expensive to give 17 19 pnds for a burger yes they are delics but still too much
T. S.
I have been waiting a while to get one. It's good just a bit greasy. All chips cooked in peanut oil (well publicised) so not good if your allergic like my wife.
R. Y.
Hamburgers.
Err. That's it.
Oh yes, it was so hot where we were sitting that we had to move to another part of the restaurant.
I recommend the fizzy drink refills. I'm not sure that is strictly allowed but we did it anyway.
S. H.
My favourite ourite burgers in London, mainly owing to the personalisation. One of the few fast food places that staff appear to like working fod
D. R.
This stuff is great in any country! Love them! Friendly staff!
A. E.
Delicious burger and fries were nice too. Friendly service. On the pricier side.
D. W.
Great installment of the no-nonsense chain. Tasty burgers, choose your toppings. Great chips and delicious shakes, with your choice of mix-in flavours.
L. K.
Food good, burgers fine, nice to have free choice of toppings, chips excellent and plentiful, service fast, good place to eat.
