I love five guys, their super delicious milkshakes and huge quantity of fries. Last to last Sunday I visited the Islington Green branch with my partner and ordered a chocolate milkshake and regular fries we asked them for an extra straw instead they gave us an extra milkshake saying we make a great pair. The staffs kind gesture really made our day❤️

Yummy burgers. Burgers are my favourite and five guy's never let's me down always good tasty burgers and chips. The difference with this burger joint is they have like 15 topping you can add, like mushrooms, onions, mustard, pickles, tomatoes and so on. My trick is ask for double cheese it's free to add. Yum There's also a drink machine to get lots of great flavours of drink.

If you want the most succulent, mouth watering burgers, come to five guys. They’ll never disappoint. I wouldn’t always go for the fries though as they can be a hit or miss. On the contrary, the fries I was served last evening were exceptional to say the least. I actually finished them all for the first time! Well done to the blonde petite girl. You’re a star ⭐️

Decent burgers. The problem I seem to be having is everytime I order a delivery from this place, they seem to forget my milkshake, third time in a row now. I would reorder the shake but then ill have to pay extra for delivery a pay £9.50 for a shake which should have already been here. Ordered from Five Guys through Deliveroo. The burger and the fries both arrived still warm, which was a plus! As far as American styles burgers go this is by far the best I've tasted in this area, taking value for money into account as well. They optionally pack the burger with extras like grilled mushrooms and grilled onions on top of the standard lettuce, tomato, pickles and sauce and also throw in free ketchup and mayo on the side (normally extra when ordering online). The fries weren't the best I had, hence 4 stars. Overall good burger, which will go down a treat on a hangover!

It saddens me to say that like most other burger joints, Five Guys burger meat tasted like it's unseasoned, and they rely on the customer adding all the free extras to give the beef patty some flavor. Went there yesterday and everything was GREAT! Hamburger, all the way (all toppings minus mustard) plus jalapenos was absolutely gorgeous! The staff are efficient and work quickly and in a tidy manner. Fries...just wow, so good! Drink options are great and the re-fills good.

The place feels nice and cozy. The staff is very lovely and welcoming. Now coming to the food...the quantity of food served exceeds the money's worth, be it sides or drinks but as for the main dish, i didn't really like the veggie burger too much because it didn't have much taste or zing to it. The grilled sandwich on the other hand was really delicious. All in all, it's a worth it place for late night munchies.

I'm often quite critical about places like this because corporations piss me off with their offerings. It think 5 Guys is overpriced. I also think it's a bit over-complicated. However the burger and chips are nice. It's clear the parties are seasoned (Meat loves salt) it's obvious the potatoes are fresh. Watching a team work well is good to observe from a chefs perspective. Finally. The one in islington is staffed by a girl with beautiful eyes! Heartmelting, gorgeous eyes. Dont go just to check her out. It's not a zoo.

Take out takes around 10 minutes, which seemed excessive to a burger, which was only slightly better than McDonalds with thin patties that felt mass manufacturered rather than handmade which you would expect for the price of £10 a burger and £5.50 for fries. Meat Liquor and Lucky Chip around the corner and similar timescale and pricing for superior burgers. Milkshakes also on small side for price. Overall ok but overpriced for what you get.

Ordered cheese burger and chips but they only heard chips. Was wearing a mask so understandable but staff weren't wearing any. Chips were good! Not sure how social distancing was planned but taking the food and giving back the plastic table signs didn't seem too safe. I mean Five Guys is something you can’t describe. It’s just amazing. In the fast food market is the top quality restaurant. In terms of quality you can really taste the difference, sometimes it’s even better than burgers you can get in a pub o steak restaurant, the do the best fries in the world. The portions are always big, as it is a proper American fast food, even the “mini” version of the burger is quite big, and I would suggest to get the small fries as I have already mentioned there are lots of fries, just to give an idea: they fill up a little paper cup with fries than the put them in the brown paper bag and the top them up with a full little tray of fries, so they almost doubled the quantity. Last but not least, the have the refillable drinks. Obviously, as the quality and the portion are quite big the prices are a bit higher than other fast food, but completely worth it. If you are in a hurry m but you still want to treat yourself, I would definitely recommend Five Guys.

I love this place. Although a touch expensive for a simple 'burger and chips', it's custom made to how you want it, and the portions are ridiculous. Always leave there full and happy. No other complaints except price, otherwise it would undoubtedly, hands down be 5 stars. Not many fast food burgers come close to this in terms of taste.

One of the best burgers I've ever had, plus they usually have it ready. Come in, place your order, go out! They also have a basement hall, which can be definitely used for hosting birthday parties! Make your own drink at the machines and refil as many time as you want with the carbonated ones. Prices are a bit more than other fast food places but it is a real burger with real meat.

It's good and definitely better than something like McDonalds. For my first time the array of toppings was somewhat bewildering, so it probably needs some return visits to work out what is best. I like my patties to be crispy on the outside and these weren't - I don't know what they are trying to achieve so either that's the style, or it wasn't quite right. The reality is that I've done better at home (but that requires effort and is rather messy). Definitely worth a visit, hence the 4 stars.

Whilst Five Guys is fast food, it is unlike any other. It’s burgers are melt in the mouth and really quite different from what you’ll taste on any other day. They are superb. The four stars comes as a result of the milkshakes which are often lacking but still £5.90 and the intense price of such fast food with a burger amounting to almost £10 for a fast food restaurant which i deem to be excessive. The burger is actually very good, had the cheeseburger. But the smiley staff got my order wrong, then once the burgers were made took ages to put the fries in the bag despite me asking twice. Chips are oily and overpriced. The soft drink is only good value if you fill the cup several times. Don't understand why they have sacks of peanuts right by the bin. You could go to a competitor chain and not have to queue, wait for no reason and probably enjoy the experience more.

I'm not generally one for believing the hype, especially when the establishment in question has it literally plastered on the walls. But Five Guys genuinely have the finest no nonsense burgers and fries I've found in a long time. A Fast Food chain with the price and quality of a restaurant but with the reputation of other fast food such as McDonalds. Really good food but expensive, £14.50 for a burger and chips. My first experience of a Five Guys was here. Firstly the service was alright although the staff serving were impossible to understand, I told them to talk slower. This helped and being my first time I didn't know what I was going to get asked. The food did take a little while to make but this was not a problem when you saw what the quality and taste was like. The restaurant was very American diner style but needed a bit of a clean. Food was amazing, probably one of the best burgers I'd had but I left after eating it, well most of it I was so full, and all I could think of was if just paid nearly £15 for a burger.. I'll try another out of London and compare prices soon. If you love burgers you should go here! Oh and Tip, Small a Chips is enough as they put double the cup in your bag and half the price.

Standard visit to burger joint that claims best burgers in world. Not the best Five Guys by a long shot. Service uninspiring from female clerk who clearly had other places to be (fumbling with her Oyster card as she took my order). Burger arrived as ordered, plenty of fries as usual however overly salty. Some drinks unfortunately not available on dispenser. Restaurant displayed good level of cleanliness but atmosphere sadly lacking. If I'm honest, for a company that charges almost £10 for burger, I'd expect to be wowed and service to pop.

As an American, I feel I am an expert on both burgers in general, and 5 Guys, in particular. This location was perfect in every way. The only differences we're, 1, the soft drink selection was slightly different, and 2, the fries were a bit different. Not any worse, but somehow varied perhaps in what they were fried in? For Londoners who may be curious how authentic this place is, I can confirm it is, in fact, a portal to the US.

I really like Five Guys you can really tell that everything is fresh compared to their competitor's like McDonald's, Burger King or KFC etc. This branch in Islington is quite spacious with seating upstairs and downstairs. Queueing up to take your order is normally quite quick and you can even have free peanuts whilst you wait and prepare your condiments. I would recommend to always go to the branch directly yourself to order or collect food because sometimes they do tend to forget to add things like condiments when you order online via Deliveroo and for a burger establishment that is very important or your fries will be dry.

Handy fast food and snack chain with moderate pricing and with a somewhat American Diner influence, with much competition in the local area. Typical hot dog and burger style menu, with plenty of optional add-ons. Chip portions are ample. Well provisioned with condiments and sauces if you can locate them. First visitors could find it requires some initial familiarity with the ordering and collection system, as with most fast food systems these days. Fairly basic and tightly-spaced seating and table area, which doesn't encourage contemplative dining. Food and dressings rather over-salted, so probably doesn't require any additional.

Good service here. I now always go for the mini burger and little fries because those sizes are decent contrary to their name. For the price of their larger sizes you may as well go to a gourmet burger restaurant.

Really amazing burgers and fries at Five Guys. It can be a bit much but if you're really hungry it's one of the best choices around for a good burger and chips. You get to customise your burger with a wide selection of toppings and it's then cooked right in front of your eyes. All the ingredients are fresh including their chips which even have the potato skins on. They also have those drink machines where you can order your favourite soft drink with a twist in the form of a bit of cherry or lemon mixed in if you are feeling adventurous.

If you've never been to a 5 guys before, they're just pure unadulterated good food, grease-and-all with a huge selection of unlimited fizzy drinks and ample seating. I'm totally addicted to Five Guys burgers. There's something about the mix of american fast-food style and high quality ingredient that make them harder to resist than other burger places. Regular burger has two patties and is very filling for a good price. If you want fries just go small because you'll still get served loads. The make-your-own-soft-drink machine is also a lot of fun.

These burgers area very simple but very juicy and of course with that comes many many calories. I really like these unhealthy burgers, in fact the Upper Street Five Guys is the first one I ever had. I like their Cheeseburger which is calorie heavy unfortunately at 920 calories. But on the lower calories sure you can buy the Little Bacon Cheeseburger (690 calories) or the Kosher Style Hot Dog (only 520 calories).

I come here all the time - it's my go-to place for a quick and solid protein blitz after working out. I wouldn't mind if their bacon was a little less crispy and a little more flavorful (see Shake Shack), but for about £10 you can get a double bacon cheeseburger, which gets turned out quickly and always hits the spot. Their fries are good too, but I try to stay away from them as empty carbs. The place is bright, loud, and fairly sterile, so I don't usually hang out there, but for quick inexpensive burgers, they're hard to beat.

Used to be the last word in trendy down-to-earth burgers, but in recent years it's been overtaken in the taste race by rivals like MeatLiquor and Honest, so although Five Guys is still streets ahead of the big fast food chains it's not my first choice. Unless you've a very big appetite, stick to the Little Burger and Little Fries: they're plenty big enough for a normal human and it brings the whole meal in at a good value price.

American style burger and hot dog joint. It's like a factory operation beings behind the counter with more than 8 people trying to fulfil the nonstop orders. We had signature burger, bacon hot dog, and cheese hot dog. The meal was a heart attack waiting to happen and everything tasty too salty, including the free peanuts. The hot dog was alright and decent size - nothing to write home about though.

I had heard good things about Five Guys. My friend who I was with is a huge fan. Unfortunately, it did not get off to a good start, as the server was more interested in speaking to her colleagues than us. Very offish and acted like she did not want to be there. At the end of the meal, I spoke to the manager. In his defence, he was very disappointed in her and did comp our food. Regardless of the comp, he was very apologetic and he would be the reason for me to go back. Having said that, I think it is overpriced for what is ultimately a fast food restaurant. I should be giving it a 1 star because of the server and a 5 star because of the manger. I've gone for the middle rating.

Deliveroo were absolutely awful. The driver almost reached my address before returning. When he left the 2nd time I was told he was delivering somewhere else 1st. Food freezing so asked him to bring hot food. He didnt. Deliveroo couldn't get hold of him as he was most probably eating it. Saw him parked a few roads away on the app for ages. Deliveroo wouldn't replace or refund so went to Five Guys who replaced it and told me that Deliveroo drivers have been known to do this. Nice burgers, juicy and tasty, but everything is served in a kind of gross way. No platters, aluminium foil only = mess on the tables. Free arachides = mess on the floor. Fries are often quite salty. Drinks are expensive (I get the "bottomless" thing but never needed to refill. Get ready to shell out £15 for a randomly filled burger (you have to pick each ingredient individually, so you'll probably forget some you would have wanted in hindsight), some super salty fries, a drink from a fountain and a pair of very dirty hands. Also - you'll get to eat in a cold-neon-lit, white-tiled, no-windows basement that looks like the janitor's storage room.

I'd place it somewhere between Byron and dirty burger in terms of burger craftsmanship. I dont care about the venue much but I think their interior design is pretty well branded. I think they are quite sneaky with the way have two options of burgers – one seemingly standard and one ‘small’. The ‘small’ one is defiantly more than anyone needs! With the huge number of burger places available in London 5 guys isn’t my first choice – it’s a strange mid ground between fast food (McDonalds etc) and restaurant burger (Honest, Byron etc) where you have to order at the till and collect your own food, get own drinks, sit in very fast foodie surroundings, but have to pay the same as somewhere where you get a waiter and nice interior. The two best things about 5 Guys are the drinks machine (but the novelty wears off when you realise diet caffeine free raspberry coke isn’t that nice anyway!) and the free monkey nuts!
