I've been eating at many Five Guys around London, the food is always amazing and fulfilling, but what makes the difference at this particular Five Guys in Portobello is the Staff. Hard to find more smiley faces than in here, absolutely helpful and great at doing their job and also they are particularly awesome in the way they have to take care of the customers. WONDERFUL!!

Excellent and very friendly staff and the manager offered me a milkshake as I had never tried it before and on top of that they brought my food to the table. I will certainly return to this branch as I had an amazing experience today.

Good tasty Burger:.My son had a double cheeseburger which was a decent size with masses of chips . Hotdog: I had a hotdog as I thought its an American themed place they would have good size and tasty hotdogs.Hot dog was very small 3 bites and it was gone and cost near £8.00 just for the hotdog Really Dissapointing as I could have got a 5 pack of dogs and rolls for a lot less and be more tasty .Don't get a dog

I m not a great fast food eater..but everyone knows that 5 guys rules..I like to keep myself in shape so this kind of greasy food is not the best for my diet..BUT..Once in a while it s fine.......... I like the concept , the free peanuts and Brooklyn beer..they sell it by the bottle..but..except for that is not exactly my type of food... A friend of mine works there..respect for Fabio "il faraone". Best fries in da town.. Some pics 4 ya..

Just note parking is bit difficult unless after 10pm or you're lucky to get after 18.30 spot. :0)

Very nice and informative staff, explained the options and adviced without rushing. The food was ready few minutes after placing the order. They have good quality fries and portion sizes are generous. And finally the burgers itself - you can choose your ingredients and it comes double patty as a standard. I liked the taste and quality - in fact one of the best burgers I have ever had. The only thing to improve - there is only few small tables in this branch, but they don't get cleaned often enough so you might wait by the dirty table. Other than that it was much better than my expectations and I will definitely be back.

Hands down best burger ever! So flavoursome, 'Subway' style ordering so you can add as many fillings as you wish including grilled onions & mushrooms, pickles, jalapeños etc. Complimentary monkey nuts top the great fast joint experience. Don't even compare to Burger King - these burgers are juicy and wholeheartedly satisfying.

The food is really fantastic! It's worth the price and the store is clean and well maintained despite its small, staff are very welcoming and they know what are they selling I'm really impressed on that haven’t looked at the menu board, and I really like the idea of open plan kitchen that they do food in a proper and safe way. Great food and service as always with Five Guys 😁 But SO small that it’s only really good if you want to takeaway, otherwise I’d recommend going to the Kensington High Street one instead as they have at least four/five times the amount of seats.

Popped in for a late night burger, having not eaten. The old guy in the queue in front of me was on crutches, and not looking too well. The guy serving (who I think is the restaurant manager and spoke with an American accent- "Igor" if the name on the receipt is correct) was exceptionally patient helping him order, and avoided the temptation to "upsell", instead demonstrating genuine interest in finding out his preferences, and helping him with his order. As the discussion continued, it became apparent that the old fella wasn't quite fully coherent, and was suffering under cancer treatment. At the end of his order, when it came time to pay, Igor stated it was on the house, and that if he sat sown and waited, they would bring his order out to him. All done with grace and discretion, and genuine concern for the old chap's welfare. He had trouble pouring his drink from the machine, and Igor came out to help him and check he was ok. I shook Igor by the hand and congratulated him on his conduct. Great to see, and a truly kind gesture. The burger was good too, but its this little vignette that will stick in the memory, and keep going back. Well done guys- you set a great example!
