Customer service was good. Grilled chicken and wings were tasty. Petty of Lamb burger and Beef burgers were not that juicy and bit dry. Very little bit of sauce inside the burger so it's give you dry taste. Also very limited choice of sauses only ketchup, normal mayonnaise and chilli sauce. Restaurant was clean and nice atmosphere.

The Burger was juicy and cooked well. However the wrap was dry and nothing too special with a normal shesh kebab . The chips were crunchy and the spice added to the flavor. The wings were had a good kick to it and would recommend buying it.

East London Nandos style restaurant, only you can get Lamb chops and Lamb burgers too. Nice environment to eat in, fast service, helpful staff. Healthier than the KFC down the road for the kids etc. Fills a hole when hungry. Prices are reasonable.

The food was very good and tastes nice. However for the price you pay I would have expected the portions especially the chips to be slightly larger and the wings to be a little bigger. (Pictures attached) I requested for sauce and they were limited to your standard chicken shop chilli sauce, garlic sauce and tomato ketchup which was deffinately dissapointing. Also there is no table service. Once your food is prepared they leave it on the counter for you to collect. That's fine but when the restaurant is busy and when you don't know your food is ready it can get cold sitting there for a while before somebody realises. The kitchen staff usually have to shout your number which I don't think is great when everybody else in the restaurant are also talking so loud and on top of that kitchen staff constantly shouting numbers. Not a good look. However the taste of the food was good shame on the size of the portions and wings though.

Nice & cosy place, easy to locate as it's on the main road. The atmosphere is very relaxed and very friendly service. The food is great with a good selection. It's HMC certified so it's the best HALAL alternative to Five Guys.

Customer service 1 star. I had to figure out how to order by myself. Why have the place all nice and done up, but the staff dont have decency to tell you how the place works. Food is still decent but customer service is still bad. There is no team work. Handing a paper bag over the counter was made an issue even when customer standing there. I’m going to be honest. Five Lads is one of the best places to eat. Me and my Mrs had a lovely bit of lunch here. Customer service was good. The food and it’s presentation was excellent. Could not get enough of it. Just thought about the food for the rest of the day wanting to go back again. Excellent choice. 10/10 Update 7/1/19 Customer service has gone down a lot. No professionalism left here at all. Was 5 stars before but has to be 3 stars now.

The staff is pretty cool, but I’d say too cool in the sense that they need to understand this is a business, keep your pride out of it and just do your best to be nicer. The food is great though and the atmosphere could be improved a bit.

My first visit here was on a Saturday night, the place was packed people standing about I walked in and had no idea what was going on. On first impressions, it was chaos with no organisation, I didn't know whether I would be seated, to ask for a table, to just sit or down or just walk out! I managed to grab a table after about 10 minutes still a bit bemused, if it's your first time here expect to be a bit lost, as I was. We ordered a couple of burgers and some wings, they have a very simple approach a little salad and then your burger pattie or chicken. The chicken was good quite flavourful, the beef burger however was very dry and lacking any real flavour, there was nothing that stood out to make this worthy of their signature burger. I have been back again and had just the grilled chicken, only the medium flavour but it has been excellent. This alone is the only reason the place is any good, customer service needs a lot of work.

Friendly staff with fast service, in agreement with some of the other reviews noted for this place, the burgers (grilled chicken and beef) are more on the dry side, making it difficult to chew and not enjoyable. The peri chicken, however, was tasty with a slight tang, and just the right level of spice for me. Food is very well priced overall.

I have heard great things about this place, ordered via Uber Eats, the wings were great, the chips were mediocre, the chicken burger was dry and they forgot one of the drinks 🤦🏼‍♂️ I will never order from this place ever again. Could’ve got a better meal at Dixy tbh. If you’re going to charge a certain price then the quality of food should match the price. Improve your food or reduce or prices to match the standard you are at. Rather than giving so much chips to make up for the poor quality food, focus on making your chicken burgers better.

Five Lads is not a restaurant but have seatings available or takeaway services. Simply take a seat, choose your food from the menu, give your order at the till and they will bring your order to your table. Their members of staff could be more professional with better manners. They are not rude though. Their chickens are okay and I believe it could be better if they have had cleaned its hair. Their sauce is good. Although the premises recently refurbished, general hygiene needs improvement. Toilets; ladies and gentlemen are poor in cleanliness and hygiene. I recommend their gourmet burgers. My favourite is beef burger.

Come here often. During my last visit, I had a small issue with an order once I got home. Having contacted them on email, the matter was resolved very fairly and swiftly. Its great when things go as planned but when things go wrong, its interesting to see how a company deals with issues. Shiraz on email and Ismail in the store lead by example on how to handle my problem. In the end, food was tasty as always. I'd recommend 5 Lads any day

Well done. A cross between a Nandos and a Burger joint. Perfect menu selection and prices. Might have to wait for a few minutes to be seated (owing to rush) but they pride themselves on cleanliness and providing really great tasting chicken. The wings platter is also every fine.

Been going here for years, since they first opened at least twice a week. All the food was amazing, better than nandos, big portions and cheap price. Since the refurb, the quality has gone downhill, the prices have increased which is ok, BUT the portions have gone smaller, and the quality of the food is not what it was. Burnt lamb burgers, undercooked chips, strips are now tiny. Very disappointed as ive spent loads here and will not be coming back as the last 3 times i went were bad. However, I had my chicken not properly cooked twice when I got food delivered at home. It wasn’t nice because I had to throw my chicken burger in the bin. Mistakes happen but despite that I’m still a regular customer. Normally food is top level 👌

This is a seriously good place when it comes to grilled chicken (amazing, juicy, tender goodness). I found this spot by accident and ordered strips platter (with fries and wedges), it was more than enough for 2 people (we were stuffed after this) and super delicious. Medium spicy is spicy just enough, but we will be back to check out the non-spicy version next time!

Prices increased, and is good that you offer table service now but maybe is worth hiring someone who doesn't stare while you are eating your meal, that really annoyed me and my friend. The chicken burger and wings had a lovely peri peri spicy sauce juicy and flavoursome, the beef and lamb patties lacked flavour so i tried to drench it with their chilli sauce which was terrible! BUT its worth the wait because the Chicken is moist and the levels of heat are perfect, sides are your usual side however I have found the salad Five Lads serve are much better than the Nando’s competition. Excelent! I found this place by accident. I was not hungry but when i felt the good smell coming out from this restaurant and checked the prices i decided to give it a try. I ordered a lamb burger with chips and a drink. It was delicious! Chicken looked good as well. I will go back there as soon as possible. Too bad it is a bit far away from me! Alhumdulillah Burgers were nice we had beef and lamb. Also ordered the grilled chicken which was also nice and juicy. We ordered wing one platter they seemed to be jumbo wings on one platter and another platter it seemed to be like extremely small, liken really small. We spoke to someone and asked if we could get another wing platter as complimentary or some extra wings. They refused. A suggestion, maybe they could implement to have the food served at your table rather than shout out order numbers and having to collect. Would visit again just for the burgers and grilled chicken. An excellent place to spend time with your family/relationship. Food are really nice and we all enjoyed it. Their service are also quick and give you some options to generally choose the flavour of your chicken. I highly recommend this place for anyone as they are also halal.

Have been there a few times with colleagues and went with family. Their chicken is really nice and the peri chips with additional side. My family all ordered beef burgers and it was their first visit the burgers were veeeerrryy oily and dry. I tried to finish it for my niece but couldn't take the oil. Wasn’t a fan of this establishment when it first opened up as I felt the chicken was dry and not as saucy as Nando’s but I decided to give them another chance and boy have these guys upped their game. The chicken is fresh, you can tell as soon as you break into it, soft, juicy and now smothered in the sauce of your choice which really gives it flavour. I’m usually an extra hot individual but the lemon and herb flavour is superbly tangy and I actually prefer it over the spicier offerings. Reasonably priced, decent service and HMC, won’t be going back to Nando’s anytime soon.

The good: as the name suggests, a bit of a copy of the five guys moniker (?) and a little bit of nandos chucked in for good measure. As local eateries go it's decent and competitively priced. Beef burger was ok, peri peri chicken less so. Place looks modern and full of patrons which is always a good thing. In reality it's probably a 3.5 rating but as I was with young children the experience was a little jarring so it'll get a 3. The bad: when competing with their namesake it's a little lacking. It's the small things that let this place down. No real greeting or attempt to seat us despite standing next to a staff member for almost a minute. Lacklustre customer service when ordering, almost dismissive. There was no cutlery available and it wasn't even a full house. My friend had a few positive comments about this place hence we decided to visit. I ordered a lamb burger box meal and my friend ordered a beef burger box meal. The food was given to us cold. I was furious but remained silent as my friend finds such situations uncomfortable. The burger meat (Lamb and Beef) was crumbly and did not taste nice at all. The chicken strips were cold yet tasted a lot better than the red meat. The chips were very nice but stone cold! That was the last straw and I had to complain, I did speak to a gentleman very politely and much to my surprise I was given hot chicken strips and hot chips and I was also apologised to sincerely. The customer service is excellent a lot better than LOST ASIA who probably have their affiliates write the good reviews for them!! However how FIVE LADS could serve cold food is beyond me!!!

If that gets fixed and comes a little more larger in size, it will sure be a great burger. The chips were chips, it could have come as peri chips. The experience 4/5. There is definitly room for improvements, e.g. more selection of sauce i.e. herb or galic sauce. Not much space for medium/large family. Unless you book ahead. There was a issue, and the brother there working there was very kind enough to drop the food over during after closing time 5/5, received with sincere apologies . My wife and I, including the lads we ate today really enjoyed the wings. Thank you
