Took my parents for a meal tonight while they were visiting London. We all loved it. I live nearby and had been a few times already but was delighted that my parents also loved it. Excellent starters of goats cheese, seared tuna and crispy chicken, with great main courses of duck, chicken Milanese and miso cod. Everything was excellent. The service was fab and the waiting staff super friendly. Would really recommend it.

I went with a friend to Forty Four Saturday evening and we were both very impressed with the atmosphere, friendly and professional staff and particularly the food. It was delicious. It was so good we decided to have a third course (pudding) and were not disappointed as we had the best Creme Brulee I have ever had.

We had a lovely lunch with my in-laws last weekend. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The restaurant has a really nice vibe and the menu caters for different tastes - both vegetarians and meat lovers. The kids menu was very good value and my son’s fish and chips were really tasty. We are very lucky to have Forty Four as our local restaurant and I can’t wait to be back there soon!

Had another delicious meal at Forty Four in Sheen Lane recently. (Salt & Pepper Squid to start, followed by Pan Fried Seabass with a lobster Bisque).. the food has remained consistent throughout the pandemic. Eat in or order a take away - this restaurant is a hidden gem.. Oh & you get £10 off when you spend £50..... Another great restaurant in East Sheen Had a lovely meal at Forty Four in Sheen Lane (post lockdown 2.0). Great selection of modern European & Asian Fusion dishes created by Chef Leonard Kola (previously from Rock & Rose, La Trompette). We have dined here many times – the food is amazing, service is first class, vibe is relaxed and classy & loved by the locals. Don’t take my word for it – try it out for yourselves….

Our first time here, I've been recommended this restaurant many times by different people. It is obvious why I have been recommended the 44 (being a very fussy eater). A lovely greeting when we arrived and then shown to our table. The menu was just for Valentine's dinner but a lot of thought went into it. Okay! no pictures far too busy enjoying and savouring every mouthful of our 3 courses. I had the fillet steak (whenever I go to any restaurant I ask for any steak to be well-done because I hate blood running around my plate) here they listened, cooked to perfection. There was nothing to complain about, nothing! We will be definitely going back. A big thank you to the chef and staff for a lovely meal.

The food was excellent. 3 of us 3 courses 2 bottles of wine. 3 over 60 and quiet and well behaved. Quite a lot of money. But my goodness the service was surly. He didn’t crack a smile the whole we were there, was unwelcoming and offhand. So unlikely to recommend. Or go back unless there is definitely different service attitude.

This brilliant new restaurant in East Sheen is a welcome and desperately needed addition to the local dining scene. Menu is very good and extremely reasonably priced. Food is observably all freshly prepared and brilliantly executed by an attentive and well trained kitchen. Great new local restaurant and very deserving of a try-out. We will be back.

I've been here 3 times already and the food is simply great. Their veggie burger is the BEST I've ever had in my life (and I've had a few), not to mention their teriyaki salmon, cod fillet and gnocchi. Service is also fantastic: Elona is the most charmig young lady ever. Now do yourself a favour and book a table.

The food was absolutely top notch. I wish I could write more, but it's been a long day. I had the lamb rump, which was tender and succulent... Cooked through perfectly... Tasty veg neither undercooked nor overdone. Delicious jus. I never have pud. But thought sod it, it's Christmas, sticky toffee. Sooo tasty.

A great addition to Sheen. I had the Sunday roast which was great. Beef cooked rare, fluffy Yorkshire, thick tasty gravy. And no piles of red cabbage that local pubs serve up to bulk your plate.

We've been to this new restaurant in Sheen Lane and we had pork ribs witch was delicious, my son had pizza from kids menu and well enjoyed it, my partner had lamb shank, everything was perfect and service was very good and a very nice place to eat. I definitely recommend this restaurant

The food is delicious! And that’s the most important thing! We had starters, mains and desserts. Not 5 stars because nobody is perfect and there is always room for improvement. Maybe a bit too expensive but we left full and very happy!!!

I f you check the menu on line and you choose a meat dish like steak and you are a Muslim then the management will provide you with hallal meat but they would advance notice three to four days ahead of your visit. They are very obliging to customers because this was an Iranian restaurant before Naeem
