Have loved it in the past and loved it again.
Great atmosphere - which is a hard thing to deliver in these outdoor eating, socially distanced days.
Food was varied, interesting and delicious. Plus the Guinness was proper.

Burger is amazing and never leaves the menu. All other items I've had are amazing too but some are quite expensive and portions can be relatively small. Staff are great and good atmosphere.

The menu, the food, the atmosphere, it was all so great.
Ry and Amelio took good care of us and we had a few drinks at the bar after with the bar staff there who were so fun too.
Can't wait to come back. Thinking of that Maltagliati pasta again.

can't rave about this place enough... been here multiple times and will keep coming back.. the burger is a given but the dry cumin lamb and truffle chicken wings were the most memorable..

The best burger I’ve ever had and I’ve definitely had way more than you.

I'd been wanting to check out the Compton Arms for ages, so I was happy to find a table with my partner on Friday night for what I assumed would be non-fussy drinks and a light dinner. Neither of us eat mammals, so we found the food menu a little limiting, but no big deal, as there were plenty of seafood options. We started with the fried oysters and an order of potatoes, thinking we would expand from there. They were both great, but we were a little disappointed to see the portion size of two oysters for £10. With these two dishes, plus 1.5 pints each, we were pushing a £40 bill and still hungry. We hemmed and hawed for a long while, but in the end couldn't justify spending an extra £16 for three pieces of fried chicken – which looked great – simply on principle. We ended up hitting another pub on the way home and grabbing halloumi fries for £5.50.
This isn't intended to be a bad review: the food and the service were both great, but I thought management might want to know that they're pushing some customers away with both the meat-heavy menu and their prices.

Nice location. Small, cosy pub with down to earth staff - attentive and friendly. Got a few food items on the menu; all top quality. Chopped bavette was unreal. Clams and trotters too. One of, if not the best burgers I've had in London, had to order twice! Great sharpness from the pickle and good balance, just the right amount of messy. Not forgetting that buttery bun. NICE.
Highly recommend - without a doubt.

Wow! Every single dish was out of this world. I could have ordered everything twice. I came here for a birthday celebration and it exceed every expectation. The standout dishes (menu rotates) was tzatziki with beef and pumpkin ravioli. I’d go here again and again.
