I ordered through Deliveroo. Quick delivery, well packaged and taste meal. I took a chicken wrap with fries. I liked the wrap, fries were not outstanding, just typical cheap fries that are offered in most places with your burger/sandwich/ kebab. I recommend it and I will order again.

The interior of the restaurant is full of wonder where it is extends far back plus the glass roof can be opened up so you are eating outdoors. At the time the restaurant had shared their tables with Isarn (Thai restaurant) and this was nice because it allowed more food choices for us. The food is nicely presented and is a great location to catchup with friends.

They have a great selection of food , i went with the lamb kofta wrap, which was so tasty! We came during lunch and it was busy but we were seated quickly and the food didn't take long to arrive after we ordered.

A lot bigger and brighter since they've renovated, with loads of tables. Really welcoming and friendly staff, with quick service (and great with the kids). All the food we had was good too - a wide selection of mezze, main courses and wraps etc. Make sure to get a side of simit to go with your hummus etc.

Good food, terrible service. Some of our order never arrived, we couldn’t get anyone to care. We were told ‘it’s coming’ 3 times. By the time we had finished eating we still had not received our side dishes. Was a battle to even get the attention of someone to take our money. Such a lovely place! Just went there for a quick pre theatre coffee and snack but it was amazing! The decoration is beautiful, the staff very friendly and the prices reasonable. The sutlac was awesome: not sweet, not too runny, exactly how I used to have it back home! Will visit again for food!

I really love Gallipoli. It's my go to place for a delicious breakfast. It's not the cheapest breakfast on Upper Street but I haven't found a better one. I knocked off one star because I think there are too many tables and it's too warm inside for me but these are very minor quibbles.

I came here for Sunday lunch and got the full meze option for £9.95. The food was delicious, especially when trying out different combinations of meze with each other. A good healthy variety too! There was also more than enough there to fill me, which I wasn't necessarily expecting for the low price. All in all, I have nothing bad to say about the place. The interior design was pretty interesting too. One tip, if you go here before 5pm, you can get the full meze option for £9.95. After 5pm, it's £13.95!

I LOVE YOU Honestly amazing. The best takeaway I’ve ever had. Delivery driver was so kind and helpful and didn’t just rush out like most people do! We were so happy with the amount of food everything is fair priced. And most of all THE FLAVOURS! You can tell that the chefs really do put love time and care into their food, which the majority of places lack. Genuinely I can’t praise you enough. Would like to thank the pleasant staff at Gallipoli for treating us so well after we walked away from Slim Jim’s for their horrible attitude. One of the best Iskendar's I've had (including in Istanbul!)! Great spot for a quick meal or for groups! I was down on my own on a business trip and was tucked away in the smallish back room, but still got plenty of attention from staff (just the right amount, as and when I needed it). The rest of the menu looks amazing, so definitely high on my list next time I'm in the neighborhood to try everything else!

Great food, good staff and atmosphere. we ordered from the lunch menu and the portion size were bigger than anticipated. However, just a fore-warning the Turkish tea isn't free like other restaurants, we ordered 4 teas and were charged for each cup (£7.40 in total for them) - as we initially thought they were complimentary as the tea was not on the drinks menu. Other than that everything was great, just a nasty surprise when we got the bill.

I was really looking forward to eating here after reading the menu online. The food was certainly edible and wasn't bad but I definitely expected more. I had the stuffed aubergine which definitely lacked flavour and seasoning, although the accompanying rice was delicious. I also had the whitebait, usually one of my favourite dishes but this was really disappointing, the fish had been coated in breadcrumbs rather than just lightly dusted in flour. Service was good and everything was good value. Perhaps some of the other dishes would have been better but I would hesitate before returning.

In London there's always new places to go so I try to never go to the same place twice, but I've been to Gallipoli 3 times so it only means that I absolutely love this place. We always get the set dinner which serves a bit of everything on their menu, which I personally like because I love to try/sample everything. For so much to eat, it's a great price that can't compare to other Turkish restaurants. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere is amazing. The plethora of hanging lamps gives out an ethnic, homey aura and even though it's constantly busy, you can sit in there for ages and enjoy the setting. I also like the outdoor seating, where you can see bustling Angel.

I went here for brunch, Ordered the first breakfast option and the Turkish Breakfast. My partner and I shared the two plates. If the customer service was better I would have rated it more. The food was great. The seating was cramped but was cosy, so didn't ruin the experience. The customer service however was outrageous. There where 7 of us out for a late business lunch on Saturday. It felt as if the staff wanted to get rid of us as quick as possible. They took plates of people that had finished before others had. I had just finished my food and placed my utensils on the plate as the waiter 'grabbed' it then I literally had to wrestle a clean napkin from his hands that he picked from the table. For the food, I may go again. For the customer service, I would refuse to pay.

I've not been to a Turkish restaurant before, wow what an experience. This place was amazing, the atmosphere was just what I love from a place to eat in. It was busy but not fast paced, everybody was enjoying sociable food. The tables are packed tight but this adds to the atmosphere. The food was superb, excellent portion sizes and I think us guys choose a little too much to eat the evening we went as I could barely eat another thing the following day. The Gallipillo Special is not for the faint hearted! I'd certainly recommned, friendly staff excellent food and really well priced!

I took some friends for a late 14:00pm, goodbye lunch today. The food was really good and the staff as always were really polite. I come here about four or five times a year and when friends visit London I ALWAYS send them here! I have not written a review in a while and thought I would re-afirm my love for this little place. Turkish food normally goes in 2 directions; cheap and delicious in a kebab house over hot coals or refined and disappointing in expensive places with uptight waiters with white table linen... Gallipoli straddles the two nicely. The food is really great - particularly the prawns, which were really really good. The atmosphere is buzzy and the lights are low. It comes in at about 15-20 pounds a head and the food isn't bad at all. A good week night staple!

Had lunch on a sunny day outside the restaurant. The lamb kofte kebabs were delicious and came with chips and a good salad for £6.95. Be sure to ask for a bowl of their homemade chili sauce. It's very good. Nice staff and efficient service. Will definitely return for the meze.

Charming, cosy little place with a decor that recalls old Constantinople. Only ever had the lunch special which is superb value for money. The food is delicious, with a good selection on the lunchtime menu. Ask for the homemade chilli sauce. I could eat it just on its own. Bog standard. I'm a pescatarian, so I chose the aubergine with every knowable vegetable thrown at it in a sauce. Me personally, it smacks of sheer laziness when I see frozen mixed vegetables put into a dish, as I know I could've made this myself at home. It was nothing I would run back for, infact it took me a while to remember what I had. It was very loud, which was due to the xmas works meal, which I was there for and not the fault of the restaurant at all. The waitress handle us promptly and professionally with not too much of a wait at all, considering we were a party of about 30. The price was £23 which was a split bill which included a cold starter mezze which again was your usual hummus, tzatziki, bread, falafels, tomato with lemon and parsley and onion finely chopped...blah blah blah! Nothing unique about this place at all. Pick any restaurant on Green Lanes N15 and they do it the same if not much better with loads more space.

The atmosphere here is great especially when it's busy, in winter it's cosy and thriving, in summer light, airy and open. The decor is perhaps a little overkill but part of its charm, with the walls and even the ceiling covered in a seemingly unconnected array of pictures, lanterns and artifacts that only seem vaguely Turkish, but make it feel almost like you're tucked in the back of a market. The food here is amazing, from traditional Turkish dishes, to mezes and delicious deserts. The cost can easily be less than £20, it's very affordable especially for its location! The service has been varied, sometimes being a bit cold and slow, other times friendly and attentive - once in the same visit. Generally though the staff seem warm and a close knit team. I'd recommend any of their many restaurants up the road!

Food is very delicious, meat is halal. The iskender doesn't look original but can be understood as it isn't prepared in Turkey. However my colleagues seemed that they all liked it. Ali Nazik must be meat not chicken. Baklava was original. You need more varieties of real Turkish meze. Also unfortunately they give complimentary raki but if you ask mineral water instead, it isn't complimentary.

There are three Gallapoli's near to each other. Gallipoli, Gallipoli Cafe & Bistro, and Gallipoli Again. This review is for Gallipoli again (the one nearest to Almeida theatre). Overall: Very good experience. Reasonable value for money, good tasting, good service. Food - Taste: We tried the veggie Mezze Platter and the Full Mezze Platter. From our vegetarian's perspective, the veggies were very good (8/10) and quite plentiful for the platter. The meat eaters found the chicken and lamb ok, but the burger-type meat (I forget the name ) was verrrry good. Food - Value for Money: 50GBP for 4 people with 3 glasses of wine and plenty food. Pretty OK Ambience: Nice for a midday/casual meal out. Not quite nice enough for a romantic evening Service: The manager was exceptionally friendly and attentive (in a good way!). We told him we were going to see a play in 40 minutes and he ensured that the kitchen was aware that our table would need service quickly. The staff covered each other well, so I'd say management service 10/10, and wait-staff service 7/10

So many mezze places serve dull reheated stuff but the mezze here are fresh and exciting and a mezze plate also a very generous starter. Don't go if you want a quiet private evening because it is crowded and noisy but very friendly and convivial if you like a crowd.

I visited Gallipoli with 13 friends for a birthday celebration. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! Also understanding, especially because we had some cancellations on the day meaning the booking was for less people than expected. Everyone loved the food and chilled out environment, I would strongly recommend an afternoon of food and drinks here, I can not sing their praises enough!
