All the staff were very attentive and ensuring we had everything we needed. It felt more like we were guests in their home rather than at a restaurant. c. t.Fantastic food at Gandum earlier this evening. First time we'd been and both my son and I were really impressed. Presentation and quality of the food were both a cut above and the staff were really friendly. Turned up early (6.30pm) on spec and were the last people to get in without a booking.
Very good value too and will def be heading back there soon.

D. U.Homely feeling comes to mind! Loving the chilled vibes here! Wondered in looking for something comforting after a long day of working in the rain, was a little damp and freezing cold. Staff are attentive, honest and friendly. Went for the stewed lamb shank. Firstly that soft, fall off the bone tenderness thing was on point. The flavours were great going well with the rice! (If i knew the raisins were sprinkled on the rice i would have asked to take them out as i'm a picky eater... sorry!). Oh yeah and the portion size was generous! If i hadn't spent my time delivering parcels for 9 hours i probably would have only reached half way. That said, the cinnamon and cardamom tea at the end was the icing on the cake > refreshing, fragrant and kept me warm on my drive home. Now i have a new tea to add to my growing list. Thank you guys 💗
