Convenient place for simple meal for a good price. Service is professional. The black and blue burger is served with a very small portion of fries, so better get the fish & ships or fish cake with double portions 😜

Stopped in for fish and chips TWICE! It's not the typical American seasoned fish however, it's so flaky and the coating is amazing. The bruschetta is my favorite as it has my favorite herb; parsley. I would recommend they tone the parsley down a tad, it's almost a salad but still delicious! I may very well be back before I leave London.

It’s a great place if you come to Trafalgar Square to spend the evening . A minutes walk from national art gallery, this place is a perfect place for fish n chips( for the non veggies ) , Pizzas , nachos and wine.

My wife and I were running around London and decided to get lunch and really had no idea where to go when we walked by Garfunkel's. I am a fan of the music of Simon and Garfunkel (no idea if Art Garfunkel is connected to the restaurant or not) but looked like it might be a good place to eat. It was a quiet restaurant with a warm decor, comfortable booth and excellent food. We both had the home made lemonade which is so much better than the fake stuff. I had a BBQ chicken pizza which was really good. Very thin crust but I really liked it My wife had a chicken dish that she enjoyed. I thought the prices were pretty good for being in the heart of London. Overall just perfect for what we we're looking for.

Good restaurant for families. We're visiting it today with our friends in the company of 4 adults and 2 kids. We were quickly suggested a table we looked at. They had kids menu which was a big plus. Kids enjoyed the binoculars presents and crayons. Food was okay, but I liked their service more. Definitely an option to consider when you are out with kids.

We went to Garfunkel's as it said celiac/Gluten Free friendly. I wouldn't say it was that good for it. We had to either look at there website or follow the waiter to an tablet to find out what my partner could eat, they could at least print one out? Fish and chips were good. Kids enjoyed their meal. However, the staff weren't friendly. The kids had refills. The lady waited like 15 minutes to bring them. There weren't many people and felt like an after thought. When the check came the lady stood over me asking if I was going to leave a tip. When I hesitated she asked if I needed help or if something was wrong. Just giving it a 3 star because the food was good. Anyway, Good food but staff leaves it to be desired.

Not a bad place to eat if you're hungry. It's a bit pricey for the type of food you receive. Hubby ordered a burger and beer special for £10. The roll was dry and the burger very ordinary. I had avocado on toast which was delicious. The toilets were dirty and smelly which was a shame as the restaurant itself was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly.

Visited here on the 29th February with my disabled mother. I'd dropped my mother off & had gone to park & she'd entered on her own, and was greeted, sat and served by a lovely lady who served both of us our food, which was lovely, speedy and tasted well. The lady that served us was Eunice and she was very attentive, smiley and dealt with my mother very well. Thank you so much :)

Good late-night Friday experience. The place wasn't busy, but was clean, the service was polite and accurate, and the food was decent -- especially for the area and time of night (22:15). Also nice to be able to have a quiet meal with friends and talk without having to nearly shout -- the atmosphere is very neutral, which can be a plus or a minus, but suited us perfectly.

Moderate level restaurant. You would expect a restaurant in the city center to have a selection of dishes and alcohol. Don't expect that from this one. The atmosphere is outdated, very narrow selection of alcohol. When the entrance door opens, half of the place is immediately freezes. Dishes are nicely arranged and medium sized. Service was great, the waiter is supper attentive and smiling. All in all, disappointing.

Perfect Restaurant + Perfect Ribs. Arrived here around 6pm on Valentine's Day yesterday without a reservation and had a table instantly, didn't have to wait. The employees were so so kind and wonderful, only came over to us the amounts needed and not too much not too little, whenever we wanted to order they arrived perfectly :). The food service was extremely fast it shocked me, I had ordered the ribs and they came off the bone perfectly and full of flavour worth every penny :). Lastly after we paid the Bill, we sat inside for a while more, and weren't hurried to leave which I really liked, we could sit and chill for a while. Oh lastly, we ordered a pecan pie to share with my boyfriend and that was lovely too :) would definitely recommend to anybody. The prices are abit in the high side but it is London and I looked at a few other places that were considerably more so I would defo eat here again :).

Took a while before they took our order. Once they did, everything was quick. The server was forgetful because we told him we had to leave quickly and later he gave some standard discount things "to use in the next few days". Still, I don't care about personal attention. After the initial waiting he was excellent. Food was ready in no time (which is nice if you're pressed for time). We had fish and chips as well as steak and ale pie. I had the pie and it was good. Really liked the green beans. Didn't care too much about the prices due to being pressed for time. It seemed we arrived at the peak period, so that explains the wait at beginning. Could partly see inside the kitchen, seemed clean.

I’m a vegan eater and Garfunkel’s had many options for me when I asked. Kasia was a wonderful waitress. My only complaint was that the penne arrabbiata could have been much spicier. It seemed more just like a pasta w red sauce, which was still good, but it could have been better.

Great english restaurant. You can order a big english breakfast any time of the day I strongly recommend having it with toast (you get 4 slices per portion). The tea in pot is enough for 4 cups so it's great to share. Ketchup, HP sauce and vinegar at every table for free. The menu has a lot so there is something for everyone.

The fitting is good and there is Wi-Fi available, which you can only log in with your social media account. The pricing of the products and the staff are decent. I recommend the Tower of London (9/10) burger. The portion is large. The meat is juicy and the sause only makes it better. The chips are nice and crispy. The Fish and Chips (1/10) are.disappointing. The fish is bland like steamed rice and the outer layer is shiny with so much oil. The chips are so oily that it gave my mother diarrhea.

Garfunkel's has a quick turnaround time, so whether a large or small group the food arrives reasonably quickly. Waitron staff are efficient and if you become a regular (three times in two days 😂) you will be greeted with a smile! My 21 month old son and I were easily accommodated. A true gem.

Not sure what kind of experience other reviewers had here, but I had a great time. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was fantastic and very swiftly done so, and the price wasn't too bad for London. I have been lucky enough to enjoy the atmosphere, great food and service last year and then again this year. One server in particular, Ignaiso, provided me with great food service as well as answering my questions about their food offering, the sights of London and any other "tourist" questions I could come up with. It's a pleasure when you're far from home to eat at a restaurant like Garfunkel's and feel like you are home. If I'm lucky enough to return to London for a 3rd time you can bet I'll be at Garfunkel's and hope I see my friend Ignaiso again.
