We ordered jerk chicken and peas rice, it was sublime. My girlfriend usually doesn’t eat spicy but she couldn’t resist either! We also got Pineapple Punch that is sweet and creamy, goes well with the chicken!! Amazing! Will order again

Very pleased with my first delivery order from Grace Caribbean Cuisine. 1) Loved the large portion of Brown stew chicken with rice and peas, the large Guinness punch drink and the slice of banana cake. 2) The portion size was great and the chicken pieces were cut to a good size (not too small) proportionate to a stew dish. The stew chicken was tender and soft and the gravy and rice was tasty, seasoned well and delicious. 3) The Guinness Punch drink reminded me of my traditional Caribbean family dinners on Sundays - currently too full to review the Banana cake! 4) The Just Eat delivery driver was polite, arrived early and checked my ID (for the drink ordered). 5) The online menu was clear, informative with good pricing - overall good value for money. 6) There is also some seating in the restaurant. 7) In my opinion, It is an asset to the Lewisham community which has a rich African and Caribbean heritage. 8) I would recommend Grace cuisine, as a professional Caribbean influenced business, to all cultures and to meat eaters and vegetarians. It was ok, but likely that I wouldn’t order from them again. The oxtail was nice, generous portion. The ackee and salt fish was ok but the bammy was rock hard! I couldn’t even cut through it with a knife which is unacceptable.

Delicious Carribbean food in Lewisham, pictured clockwise from top: Mac & cheese, callaloo, peppered steak with hard food & peppered prawns. On a plate at home because we got it as takeaway during lockdown. Really flavourful, tasty food & generous portions. Hearty solid meal, but not greasy or oily. Lots of flavour from fresh ingredients (garlic, onions, peppers) coming through. Already planning our next order.

Usually very picky about which caribbean establishments I eat in but this came highly recommended. Curry Goat was suggested by owner Wayne and it did not disappoint! Full of flavour and falling off the bone. I chose to eat it with a festival, a fried dumpling (best of both worlds) and fried plantain. As you can see there was plenty of gravy to mop up 🤗 Definitely worth a visit. They are also on Justeat and Uber Eats

I sometimes pick up food on the way back from this place and it's always busy. Not surprising as it's simple, hearty food cooked up a treat by the lovely people in the kitchen. The beef parties are necessary on a cold evening but for my money the sweet spicy prawns and pepper beef with rice and peas are the standouts. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations if you've never tried Jamaican cuisine - they'll be sure to serve you a treat for your journey home.

Ordered Via Ubereats, food arrived in 20 mins and was piping hot! The Boneless Jerk chicken comes with Rice and peas, a hearty serving and so yummy! Note they have a 5 star Food Hygiene Stars on the Doors rating which is absolutely great, so please ignore any hateful reviews below as obviously a Food Hygiene Inspector is more of an expert than the reviewers ?!!! Would order again and highly recommend

If your desire is to try authentic Caribbean food, this is the place, I highly recommend Oxtail with rice & please, curried goat or peppered steak. For vegetarians such as my daughter, the chickpea curry, vegetable curry and other vegetarian choices are absolutely delicious.

Anyone who leaves a negative review on this place- you all are weird!! This is my 3rd time getting food Grace and the only time I was disappointed was when I walked into their restaurant and the one of the ladies told me there were out of food. BUT... tonight, I ordered 2meals and 2 sides for the price of £15.00 and I was so pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness, the "fresh out of the kitchen" heat, fast delivery, the portion AND the environmental friendly packaging that I actually called them and complimented them👏🏾👏🏾 This restaurant is winning and I'm here for it and I'll also definitely order again on my cheat days🤤

I like the food from Graces a lot. Juicy pieces of jerk pork and chicken and goat curry with a good hit of spice. The rice and peas are also done exceptionally well. Tender with a noticeable savoury coconut taste. Service is pleasant (homey!) and portions generous.. just like visiting someone’s home.

Amazing, amazing, amazing! My first time experience and everything was perfect! I ordered my food and via Just Eat had it delivered earlier than I expected on the 12th of June 2020 between the hours of 14:15 and15:08. When the food arrived, the packaging was perfectly cute and secure; plus I liked the way the reciept was presented on the package. The FOOD was cooked to perfection. Also, my 9 and 18 year old son's thoroughly enjoyed it too. Not only was the food delicious & plentiful, the Pineapple Punch and Sorrel DRINKS were out of this world scrumptiously tasty especially the pineapple punch. The ingredients were just accurately balanced and not too sweet but magnificent. I just had to share my positive experience with you all. Thank you Grace and All your staff members. I simply cannot thank you all enough. I wished I had discovered you sooner! Whenever I have a lunch break, this is my go-to 😍 absolutely amazing food, it's always nice and hot even when I get in and tuck in. BBQ chicken, rice and peas and coleslaw never fails! I would've done 5 stars, however there was one time I went in and I was waiting forever to get my food - people that came in after me got their food and left before me and I'm still vex, but I won't stop going 😂

Lovely chilled atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon. I had the curry goat, rice and peas with salad on the side. All washed down with a small bottle of fruit punch. The food was full of flavour and the service came with a smile which is an added bonus. I would recommend!

My first time visiting today and was very impressed with the food and service. You can even order online through Uber eats or just eat I think. I had fish and festivals with a bit of rice. Taste like Real authentic Jamaican food. I also had the sorrel and ginger bottled drink (wow!!) 👌 Decor was brilliant, spacious and well set out. Seats were comfortable. It was easy to keep trying out the little extras after having just one!! I will definitely be visiting again.

I wasn't sure about this place because of the negative reviews. However, thought I'd give it try today and so glad I did. As I entered the restaurant, I noticed clean floors and well placed seating areas. Wayne, who served me was well presented wearing an apron and very friendly. **No Attitude or screw up face** I ordered a large Oxtail and Curried Goat. The meat was very succulent in both dishes, not too much bone and good portion sizes. I had to call Wayne, who served me earlier to tell him thanks for 2 wonderful meals. I sincerely hope this restaurant will be around for many years to come.

Honestly I was skeptical to order some food from here because 1.a lot of similar restaurants with the same type of food are usually disappointing and 2. Some reviews were negative. But I was so surprised at how great everything was. Definitely exceeded my expectations !! Firstly the presentation of the food was neat and nicely packaged( unlike a lot of takeaways ) the food ( jerk chicken & rice & peas) was amazing !! Definitely recommend it ! Good priced food which is sourced well. Came back again in Feb 2020 and had the goat curry. Again impressed by the food. Curry was spiced well and didn't overpower the meat. Having no alcoholic drinks available keeps the total spend down. We all had tap water to drink.

Curry goat was delicious, no tiny bones, so much actual meat, generous amount of sauce, portion sizes were perfect when your marvin! Jerk chicken was lovely and juicy NOT dry! Again generous amount of bbq jerk sauce. Rice & Peas cooked perfectly Chicken was cut in a way it was so easy to eat. Dumplings were fluffy and soft! Chicken Pattie was amazing, love the tiny kick of scotch! Can not fault Grace, staff were so nice! Defo found myself a new fav local!

Ordered thru Uber eats, food was really tasty and packaged without much plastic which is great. The plantain was not ripe enough so was a bit dry but the other items were fresh and well seasoned. Festivals really fresh. Will definitely order again & pop by when going past.

Had a takeaway delivered to work last week. I had the goat curry with plain rice, it was very nice but it was very expensive and not allot of goat in the regular portion I ordered, goat curry has to be cooked with the bone in, it’s the traditional and best way to cook it, but more bone than goat in my box! So very expensive goat bones!

5 star brown stew chicken lunchtime special. I order this meal most weekdays and realised that the best way to avoid the wait times is to place a telephone order.
