Reviews of Greenberry Café

After walking by the place one day, we decided to book in advance a table for a Saturday brunch.
The staff was very warm and welcoming and the menu is a combination of dishes from around the world. Hard to say that we found a guiding light there, but anyway.
The juices were really nice, and so was the coffee.
We had a waffle, vegetarian breakfast and a burger with a side of sweet potato fries, which was awesome!
The burger however, was ordered Medium and received Well Done. The team was very nice and said they would take 8 minutes to replace. 2 points about that: first, when you take a dish from a table, and there’s fries on the plate, you leave it for the guest to have something to nibble while they wait. Second, after the new one was served, they didn’t come to check up on me to make sure that it was satisfactory (the brioche bun was extremely dry on the second one).
They did give a 10% discount on the burger, which is not a lot, but thoughtful.
Other dishes were quite great and my dinning partners really liked them.
We had to pass on desserts, but maybe next time.

This is one of the few places in London where they really care if you leave happy. As such, this has become my favorite neighborhood cafe, I always leave with a smile. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious, and they readily accommodate food allergies or preferences. I am a huge fan of the waffle with egg and avocado (also comes with heavily maple-glazed bacon, which I opt out of). The service is so thoughtful and attentive, everyone is so warm always.
The castaway shacks they’ve assembled since the pandemic are wonderful, especially if you’ve booked on a rainy or cold day. There are heaters inside and curtains to keep the draught winds out. The shacks are also dog friendly, so the whole family usually comes to brunch!
Book ahead and note their cancellation policy.

The Brunch is always very tasty and flavourfull, but a bit pricey for the portion size you resive. I usually get the eggs benedict which is small but amazing in flavour. Got the full English once which I think is better value for money.
Also, booking in advance is recommended due to the popularity of this place, which can be a bit tedious if your just looking to get brunch on a day out.

Lovely place in a beautiful little village-area of London. Nice menu options for breakfast and lunch. I throughly enjoyed my pickled herring and beetroot salad, which was just a beautiful as it is crazy.

I had a great experience at Greenberry Café. Lovely staff, very dog friendly. I sat outside, they have some small bistro tables as well as some covered seating that was made during the pandemic. They brought my dog a water bowl and some treats. I had the ‘Breakfast’ which is a full English style breakfast. You can pick how you want your eggs, you do need to pay extra to add baked beans. Tasted lovely.

Absolutely love the food here. Ordered the portobello mushroom on sourdough toast and it was delicious. The poached egg was cooked to perfection. Also got a side of maple bacon it was to die for!!! Really enjoyed my meal here and would definitely recommend.

Great, tasty breakfast and friendly service. Was recommended by sister-in-law and did not disappoint. Their eggs are fantastic; so orange & yummy!
Now has quite a few covered outdoor seating 4-table booths which is great.

We had brunch in one of the shacks set up outside! Super cozy and sheltered. We had the veggie breakfast and shared the pear crumble for dessert. Excellent food and coffee. Service friendly! Def met expectations..

The staff and the waiters are super professional and really welcoming and lovely. They knew the menu by heart and answered all our questions about the menu professionally. The atmosphere in this place is very laid back and relaxing. The food was very tasty. However, the only reason I give this place 4 stars and not 5 stars is because no one warned us in advance that taste of our main (Soba noodles soup) is very to extremely sour due to the fermented rice base liquid, which was very disappointing as we didn't enjoyed as much as we would like to. The dessert was spot on and extremely delicious, the cheesecake is one of the best in London and we also had Oat crumble with pears. We also think it's really great value for money and we didn't felt being ripped off. All in all: highly recommend!
