Beautiful little gem in North London. Close to the Turnpike Lane station. Book in advance as it gets booked out pretty quickly. And for a very good reason. The food here is fantastic. Traditional Georgian food. Filling and flavourful. They have dairy free options too! Friendly and professional staff. The restaurant has been open for just 8 months according to the staff. I wish it was closer to central London.

After reading all the reviews, since discovering this little gem of a place couple of days ago, we paid a visit with a friend of ours, just last night. And I can confirm it is true what other reviews say, it's a lovely, charming place with a great service, delicious food and wine. Jazz music playing in the background and a resident neighborhood cat. We will definitely be back. Soon! Would thoroughly reccomend to visit and try for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

Proper Georgian cuisine. Lovely place with nice jazz music and nice interior setup, table allocation allows space and comfort for the customers. Customer service is great food very tasty and a great wine list with Georgian wines. Found the place accidentally on deliveroo so thought Bette pop in and have the food there since it’s much better served straight from the kitchen due to the nature of some dishes like khinkali etc.. loved the fact you could occasionally see the ladies from the kitchen giving you a feeling of home made dishes and family run business! Great experience definitely coming back again very soon!

My first experience of Georgian cuisine and I can't wait to go back. The khachapuri was beautifully light (despite being 50% cheese) and the beef dumplings were very juicy (although the dough was a little thick). Super thankful to the owner for showing us how to eat them in the traditional way (using the khachapuri dough to mix the egg yolk into the khachapuri; eating the dumplings like xiaolongbao). 5 stars

Oh, how I love Georgian cuisine! I visited many Georgian restaurants in different countries but Gurmani Cafe definitely one of the best. Cousy place with nice jazz music and there was even lovely cat who made this place even warmer.

Second time here. Working my way through the menu. Just as impressed as last time. Delicious and intriguing. Highlight of this visit was the Chakapuli - lamb stew with tarragon and sour plum sauce. Had to mop up every last bit with my bread. Also, highly recommend trying the potatoes. But really, everything is good.

This place is a gem. It's located in a very unusual place, a quiet residential road!! Little cosy terrace and great indoors. Service is exceptional with the owners (as is a family business) making you feel home, explaining every dish and recommending after a little go through the menu. I wouldn't say is cheap, but the food, the confort and the peace is well worth the price. This is must. Also, don't forget to ask about the wines, you won't regret!!

This is my new favourite Georgian restaurant in London. The menu is so diverse for a restaurant of this size (with many veggie and vegan options) and the atmosphere is cosy. The cheesy khachapuri is a must, so are the rolled aubergine with walnut sauce. Our waiter was really attentive and helpful. Much recommended gem of North London.

I had a meal here for my birthday last august and have been meaning to write a review since then to say how special and wonderful it was! Gurmani is perfectly tucked away in the knot of streets behind tunrpike lane, so you wouldn't neccesarily come across it unless you'd heard about it on the grapevine, or were local. Somehow between turnpike lane and downhills park feels very peaceful, villagey, and particularly in summer, as though you are in southern europe and Gurmani with its sweet little terrace with the mural, is the cherry on top! The kachpuri is to die for, so soft and light and delicious, and all of the other dishes we had were also incredibly tasty (though I can't remember in such vivid detail). Our waiter was also lovely, and attentive throughout the hours we spent there. This is the perfect place for a special meal, make sure to visit!

It's a recently refurbished restaurant with amazing Georgian cuisine and huge portions! Absolutely loved it, couldn't even get distracted to take photos of food (rare). Had khinkali (mmm, yummy!), Georgian salad (beware, lots of onion), Georgian tea (terrific!), kindzmarauli (red wine, very nice) and honey cake (barely ate a portion with a friend to share, it's HUGE). Definitely recommend! Told friends about it, will hopefully go there again as a bigger group. It's not big, though, just a few tables (7-9, may be), little outside space as well (2-3 more).

I really cannot overstate how lovely Gurmani Cafe is; a cosy atmosphere and warm greeting make you feel welcome. The menu feels carefully curated to display the very best of georgian cuisine, catering for vegans, veggies and omnis. We had the house dry red wine, the dumplings and the mezze with flatbread (bean this time). Everything was outstanding; fresh, flavourful, filling and served with such care. This really is a gem in the area and I look forward to becoming a regular!

This place..! This is the type of hospitality London desperately needs. I went there just to sit and use the internet as my internet at home was down, and i ended up having breakfast, lunch and a smoothie..I did not want to leave! The people running it are amazing, the whole experience is very warm and welcoming and it feels like real hospitality. Finally London, you did not disappoint me this time. <3 And before I forget, the food is REALLY good and they have a nice terrace, and because everything is so nice, the customers are in good mood and it's bliss!

Stumbled upon this little gem while looking for a rain shelter. It’s been a while since I had a khachapuri, and the one here was truly authentic and delicious. Selection of pkhali and chicken were also great, and the whole atmosphere was very homey. I wish I had some room for medovik - will save it for the next time.
