Reviews of Hally's London
E. “. M.
Attracted by other review, we went today. the place has wibe, and we will retry, the menu has several option. the muffin is very good, the coffee as well. the carrot ginger juice average. the sausage bagel very well presented but tiepid, and indeed this has been the problem, a bit too much to get the order, also looking at other table, arrived later, served before. Now, I am happy to try again and we'll see if it is a habit.
T. W.
Lovely friendly staff and good food & coffee!
G.
Lovely place! Enjoyed the chai latte and the the cakes were really tasty ✨
M. D.
Lovely service, very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and the coffee although it was on the smaller side. But generally a great place for brunch and coffee.
S. J.
Nice and cosy but very busy and loud ! The granola in the açai bowl was too hard for my liking !
V. N.
Very good fresh food and vegan options, however very slow service. I don't like calling for waiters because it feels rude, they are not animals, even when being respectful as possible. I'd recommend making regular rounds and checking on the customers instead. Would go again.
W. A.
The coffee got me super excited. Usually I’m ok with getting energetic rather than excited. It’s a personal thing, though. The place was lovely and great for winter. The guys and girls were polite.
N.
Delicious (and healthy) food, cosy interior design and decent service make this local café a brilliant choice to go to for weekend brunch or breakfast before work. The furniture really conveys the intentional image of a nice Californian beach house with wooden walls and cute lamps. Thanks Hally's crew!
J. H. L.
They have healthy juice items and get their coffee beans from the Monmouth. Ambience was bright and chill. Lunch menu items were average in taste. I would not come back for lunch but would try their breakfast sometime.
W. D.
Really solid local brunch spot in the Fulham/Parson’s Green area. Really tasty food and will be going back again
J. R. G.
Oh Hally’s, darling how i have missed you! After moving out of London, we are back to this place every year for breakfast. The breakfast menu is delicious, and made for everyone. Really liked staff and the bakery goods. Coffee is delicious. There is always a bit of a wait on weekends, but if in a rush, just cross the road and go to little sister cafe: Little H.
A. G.
Super friendly staff, professional service but seemed a bit pricey for a cafe
H. T.
Delicious brunch, waiting 30 minutes for a table but was worth it.
C. R.
I expected more.
Good service, really nice atmosphere and friendly waitress, but the food was nothing special and the place was kind a mess (boxes and rolls of kitchen towel in the middle of the room). I don’t think I’ll come back honestly.
D. M.
Truly love this place. Delicious food, amazing juices, great coffee and a truly wonderful atmosphere!
S. G.
Nice relaxed cafe. Had the vegetarian breakfast, all fine apart from the rancid oil which infiltrated the halloumi, tomatoes and mushroom. Luckily opted for poached eggs!
D. S.
Friendly staff and good atmosphere, if a bit loud. The food is decent.
E. P.
Very good bagels and full English here - sausages is a major highlight. Coffee is so so. Service is abit slow but due to full house.
V. H.
Atmosphere is probably the main feature of the place. Little bit pricey for what you have. However, service is really nice.
A. O.
Nice vibes and good food choices.
Can get very busy at weekends. Nice location.
A. K.
Gorgeous interiors, friendly staff.
Food was ok, but would be happy to come back and try again!
C. M.
Busy, friendly cafe. Good food.
R. J.
Such a lovely little spot for brunch. Considering it’s not particularly spacious, they are super dog and baby friendly! Good service and the hot food is really good, the full English is lots of good fresh ingredients. Avo on toast is great. It’s definitely a millennial spot but don’t let that put you off- my 50 year old parents also loved it.
J. C.
A fabulous oasis of excellent food and laid back atmosphere . Drop in for coffee , breakfast or lovely lunch .
T. H.
Excellent value and quality of food for a brunch. Despite being busy, we were told that a table would be ready in 10 minutes and waited at the bar. The table was ready in 5 minutes. All the waiting staff were friendly, attentive but not intrusive.
All of the food was delicious- egg dishes especially. The portion sizes are generous too so you feel like you’re getting value for money, which is rare for brunch in London. Would really recommend for brunch- much better than Megan’s round the corner!
B. D.
Really nice place. I went at Hally’s for a coffee and a delicious muffin. The staff there are great. I am planning to go back for lunch with some friends.
P. S.
Very nice coffee. Good selection for breakfast. Good service.
E. G.
Very nice decor, only had a tea here so can’t comment on the food, typical avocado bunch here.
P. a. m.
I have seen this place many times since it has these owners but never went in. I have today and had take away cortado, which was very good and a plain croissant, which was half cooked, so fifty-fifty. It is a hipster place for the local beautiful people.
Update July 21. Still same as it was. For those interested, it is Not Covid 19 safe
C. L.
Had two coffees because the first was delicious. The second was bitter. Ordered 'a Cumberland sausage' from the menu which for the price I expected to be one of the coiled ones. What I got was two small breakfast sausages. I should have asked! Nice atmosphere if you like dogs.
F. K.
Cosy little cafe, inspired by California vibes. Whites and pastels throughout for a calming and cheerful vibes. Brunch is good and portions are large.
K. H.
Really lovely cafe. Nice breakfast menu. Good drinks selection. Doggy friendly and great, friendly service.
I. S.
I must say, when it came down to service and how quickly the food came, I would of given this place 5 stars. However the food was very disappointing.
They was very accommodating in regards to making the food vegan for me, however.... have you ever been to a place where they just slap a bunch of different veggies on a plate and over charge you for that plate. It Was not even seasoned well, or had any sauce.
This is exactly what I experienced. Presentation was poor. Didn’t think they put much thought in it what so ever !
If they had one vegan option where it was well presented as all the other meals and tasted good, I would come back. I honestly could of done it at home in 3 minutes and tasted a lot better.
I also got a side order of chips and a few where burnt black!
The rest of my table loved their meals and their feedback was it tasted good and looked amazing! So I am not knocking this place completely.
Coffee on the other had was great!
Great place for coffee, however just not good for vegans to go to eat!
Staff where lovely!
G. T.
Not a cheap place to dine but I love their banana muffins and açai bowls. Delicious. I would probably suggest that this is a more of a snack/breakfast place rather than lunch/dinner as I think there is a lot greater variety and the vibe of the place suits breakfast better. I've come here before to have coffees and work from - really nice if it's not too loud.
H. K.
Went to Hally’s yesterday - what a wonderful experience! The manager immediately made us feel welcome and the brunch was great - kudos to the chef! Unfortunately there was a loud group next to us that tried to spoil it but the manager handled it with grace. All in all: super friendly staff, dog friendly, gorgeous coffee! Gets very busy but worth the wait!! The bottomless brunch is worth every penny.
K. M.
Food is nice. I didn't eat main meals but pastries are not too sugary and coffee is nice. Pricey, that is for sure. What I don't like about is that they hardly do ANY service, just bring food and automatically charge us service. About 10 pounds bill (two coffees and pastries) and service charge over 1 pound is not acceptable. Staff are nice but at least they should bring tap water. Not my cup of tea.
R. B.
We love Hally’s. It’s a great place to take dogs, the food is great (recommend the full English or the porridge as my favorites). The staff is friendly and relatively accommodating. It’s a relatively small space so expect to wait 10-15 minutes for a table of 2 on the weekend, and definitely recommend a reservation for parties larger than 3 or 4 people.
L. O.
A great place to grab brunch. A high quality full English breakfast to be enjoyed with a good range of coffee, cake and juices too. Excellent service with a warm atmosphere. Very popular with local residents so be prepared to wait between 15-30 mins for a table on a Saturday at 11am.
V. H.
In love with the streaky American bacon: perfect cooking - crispy but not burnt! The matcha latte is nice but on the smaller size. Juices are fresh. I had brunch twice and both times were great. It can be a little busy. Loving the chill vibe.
A. L.
This busy cafe is cute, has a delectable array of baked treats on display, and a good selection of cooked brunch foods. The coffee is decent, and the completely unobtrusive. I would return again, but I would definitely need to try and get in early.
R. S.
Hally's is a beautiful restaurant serving beautiful food. Their menu is full of traditional breakfast items that have been updated and made in their own special way. Our order sounded pretty basic, a bagel sandwich, eggs Benedict, and pancakes. But the bagel sandwich had chorizo, mixed greens, and a beautiful free range fried egg. The eggs Benedict was atop sourdough toast rather than the typical English muffin. And the pancakes, ooh the pancakes..... were almost deep fried in butter, smothered in syrup, and topped with caramelized banana, pecans, and powdered sugar. The food was outstanding!
J. E.
Amazing different goodness bowls served and alternative lattes. Cozy London place and good service. It can get busy but even without booking they attended us perfectly.
F. M.
What a great cozy café. The cakes are great, the juices lovely, the atmosphere is brilliant and the service is outstanding. Everyone is always assisting you with a smile. Do not hesitate to stop by here. If there's a queue, I can guarantee it is worth waiting.
C. A.
Great place and banana breadis spot on!
R. S.
Lovely atmosphere and staff!
Coffee was great and the manager was so attentive when I explained my annoyingly specific allergies. She was really accommodating and went out of her way to be helpful - will definitely visit again!
S. J.
Good menu for breakfast/brunch. Very tasty dishes, good selection of coffees, teas and pastries. Beautiful atmosphere. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended!
L. B.
Lovely supervisor Jade and guy making coffee. What good customer service from Chris plus carrot cake is fab.
First time we have visited. Definitely come back. Coming back because of Chris and Jade
T. E. J.
Pretty good. Very popular with the ladies as the go to place for salads and other fine and tasty foods on the menu. It can get very busy. The service at the times I've been was good. Bad point, salad bar is right by the entrance making it a bit awkward when waiting to order your take away lunch.
K. H.
Good coffee and tasty cakes. Clean and bright venue. Staff were attentive but a little bit dismissive. It felt like they were ushering us out. It might have been closing time but they didn't make it clear.
J. C. D.
Excellent brunch, with a great choice. Delicious menu that really benefits from fresh ingredients. Simple but executed very well, which seems to be a winning combination. In short, a great café. Gets very busy on the weekends so being early is recommended.
D. H.
We live in Fulham and this is def one of my favourite brunch spots in the area. The fried halloumi is one of my favourites sides but you can’t really go wrong with anything here. 100% recommended
r. d.
Hally's wins points from the start with it's choice of Monmouth coffee. :) With eggs served a variety of ways, a terrific steak sandwich, as well as other fresh, delicious dishes, this is a great little place for brunch. With a relaxed and chilled atmosphere it is surprisingly unpretentious for it's Parson's Green location and reasonably priced too. Didn't initially realise Hally's is California-inspired but now totally get the tastefully done Californian-beach-house-esque vibes reflected in both the interior and menu offering too.
S. W.
Busy restaurant with a healthy buzz. Cali vibes with tasty food.
d. d.
We went here for brunch and it was fantastic - Food was great - cocktails were well made - ambience is very well though out. One of the better brunch places around Parsons...
B. R.
This place is nice but I wish they had more on their menu - it's very standard offer - nothing beyond eggs benedict or avo on toast for above average prices. Food is good but absolutely nothing Special.
S. A. S.
Great place! The coffee was really good and the ambiance was pretty chill.
Their "Too good to go" mystery box was really worth the price!
R. G.
Lovely place and amazing brunch burrito, with a delicious spicy jalapeño sauce
A. K.
Food was standard brunch food, not very cheap for the quantity you get.. place itself is very cosy, would not mind staying there and reading a book :) Maybe they don't have enough kitchen staff since we had to wait for around an hour to get the food.. so if you are in a rush try to avoid peak times..
H. M.
Absolutely all 5 starts, food, staff, location 🤩🤩🤩🤩
A. C.
Great service, coffee and food. Have the avo on toast for breakfast with poached eggs - good sized portion and quality ingredients. Will be coming back
R. C.
Brilliant, well worth the wait
E. G.
Great atmosphere, coffee and cake. Also very thoughtful staff! My new favourite cafe in the area.
S. A.
Delicate tastes, nice crowd and the price is definitely right (despite the location)! Also Monmouth coffee is a wake-up guarantee ;)
D. N.
The tuna steak salad was so nice!!! The tuna so fresh and yummy! The coffee was decent and environment was so pleasant and beautiful!!
O. C.
Beautiful little cafe serving great food and great coffee. Looks small but opens up with more seating in the back of the cafe. Small menu but look for the specials on the wall for more options.
a. w.
Went here for breakfast this morning! Loved it! Great food and Really friendly staff, definitely would recommend!
A. B.
Just went with a friend for a coffee and hot chocolate. Both disappointing and had to ask for extra milk to try to fix them up. Might not reflect on the rest of their card. Might try again to see if we were just unlucky on that day.
D. H.
Very friendly team, nice food in a really good location
T. T.
Great food quality and service.
K. M.
Hally’s - the perfect spot for brunch in Parson’s Green on New King’s Road. Hally’s is an adorable establishment with the perfect hot drink selection, more fresh cakes than you can shake a stick at and a bloomin’ marvellous brunch menu.
P. M.
Food is super yummy, such a nice weekend breakfast spot however at times the service is super slow.
Great variety of cakes!
O. F.
Very busy on the weekends but if you time it right, it’s a nice spot to enjoy brunch!
T. C.
This 'Californian' styled restaurant is a decent place to hang out and get lunch. The glass shutter doors open in the summer to give that indoor / outdoor feeling. This is very Cali however Hallys is slap bang next to the New Kings road which can mess with the Cali vibes. Hallys recently opened 'Little H' across the street which is a mini smoothy and juice stoor.
T. S. L.
Hally's is a fun little California beach-themed café in Parsons Green. Our friend Anna opened Hally's in June 2013 after she gave up her job in advertising to travel around California, and that influence definitely shows in her café. With a relaxed, earthy atmosphere, Hally's menu includes a wide variety of selections, including everything from delicious breakfast (pancakes, eggs benedict, coffee, and cakes) to daily changing salads for two (£7ish). A great place for any occasion with any company.

Great food and great service. It is a very nice small place with very good food. Usually very busy, but the staff is always pleasant.
A. C.
Amazing food and amazing atmosphere. Best spot for brunch in London by far!
E. T.
Really good food, we had a salmon potato cake and banana bread, both really tasty. And the toasted marshmallow latte is special too
M. R.
I love Hallys. When I'm staying in that neighbourhood I go every morning for my coffee...and take the dog with me. Great place and dog friendly.
A. G. M.
Sadly I can’t give 5 starts because I was waiting more than 35 minutes for the food. The quality of the food was good though. If you are in a hurry or with limited time please avoid this place.
E. C.
Delicious breakfast and friendly service
J. T.
Lovely food in a dog friendly setting. A lovely spot for a relaxed breakfast.
S. C.
Amazing coffee!!! Visiting the area and thought to try this place out instead of Starbucks! So glad we did the best coffee I've ever had!

A nice, modern, comfy cafe on the New Kings Road. Very popular for brunch on the weekends. Good food, reasonable prices.
A. A. G. P.
Cozy nice little place. Great eggs Benedict with ham and fresh orange juice. Friendly staff.
A. A.
This is our 3rd time, the food is great as usual .. but some of the staff makes sure you feel unwelcomed,
it seems they have issues with people from certain places/ethnicities.
O. O.
Nice place, nice staff, quite atmosphere, very friendly and easy.

Food okay. Cafe felt cold on the wet day I was there.
