Staff where very helpful when explaining what is in the burgers . Burgers tasted incredible. Cannot tell the difference. Staff gave me a free portion of fries as the store was closing which was much appreciated. Love the 80s decor of the shop and the arcade which you can play for free while your waiting for food

Take this magnificent burger and go to Mark Street Gardens to enjoy it in a quite and peaceful way. You will be able to really taste every layer of cheese and Patty and salad and bun. Get the Halo flavored fries and a shake to make it the best burger experience I was able to get from a vegan place. Support this place and help to make this the standard way to enjoy a burger. Vegan. Food tasted good, definitely with highest end prices. The space could use a daily scrub-down as it's got a dive diner atmosphere with a dirty main door and unwiped tables on a slow evening. Ordered a cheeseburger - which is equivalent in size and substance to a McDonald's 89p cheeseburger - for £6.45 that included a slab of brown lettuce. Signature fries for £3.10 (15p more than 'pink salt' fries and again akin to McDs) had no seasoning at all. Strange. Won't be rushing back.

Very good Beyond Meat burgers, best vegan burger I have had from a restaurant. Recommend a Dappa milkshake to go with , Peanut butter is a winner. The ‘chicken’ nuggets aren’t tasty and not worth the cost . No frills, American style diner style with a couple tables inside and one outside on the busy road. It is On the pricey side - beer and a burger and drink is going to cost you £20 - good food on a hangover though!

I’m at a loss for words, never in my life would I have thought this was not real meat, the cheese also came as a lush surprise being hard like natural cheese on the outside but creamy and like sauce on the inside. So glad they did a little pop-up close to where I live, I’ll have a dream tonight about them opening a store close-by. Thank you for this honour.

I have wanted to try Halo Burger since 2019 when I discovered them as I changed to a vegan diet after I move from London to Birmingham. Now in 2021 I finally went to Shoreditch to get a burger. I Ended Up Getting Two. The Halo Burger is absolutely delicious. Wow

Went here last week, figured I could & should review it. Can't say much on the staff except they're efficient & just decent staff, can't fault them at all. The food though & the shakes. That's the 5stars right there. Best vegan fast food going I think. The burgers are mouth-wateringly good, the fries are crispy not floppy big plus there (when they're meant to be fries y'know) the best thing though I have to say are the nuggets. The 'It's not chicken' nuggets are awesome. If you're vegan & like fast food which my friend was, I highly recommend you check this place out. It's a quaint little place with great food in a pretty good spot in relation to things on the map.

Personally loved this vegan nest in shoreditch. Loved the diner vibes, the mainstreaming of the veganism and the fun staff. There is a game machine inside too and plenty of burger choices. Sadly not much space for sitting down so mostly a takeaway joint but be open minded and try it.

Exceptionally good. Although VERY expensive. Maybe too expensive so I can't have it too often. I spent £28 on a burger, onions, small nuggets, chips and a milkshake. Very much made me gasp when I got the bill. I'm unsure why veganism is so expensive. (Hence the less one star) I guess coz we will buy it anyway. But I digress. I haven't had a BM pattie ever, I refused to try it from a joint that sells normal meat because of human error, so I was delighted to see this a minute away from where I was as it is far from where I live and I wouldn't travel that far for food. Always seen it on insta, so whilst in the area, I couldn't not try. Theeeee best vegan milkshake and best burger (I've only had seitan/mushroom burgers or the new McDonald's one) I've had. The nuggets were quite good too. Purchased for my son but he didn't eat them because they were seasoned. The service was quite slow and I was the only one in there. Plus the lady making the food kept playing with her hair and her phone which is super unhygienic may I add. She also didn't change her gloves. I noticed this after my food was on the grill. (Hence the less one star) They got a cool game in branch that never worked, much to the dismay of my son. All in all, the food gets 10 stars.

Hits the spot if you’re looking for a vegan friendly greasy burger. Halo fries are closest I’ve found to in-n-out animal style this side of the pond. However, prices are steep for portion/quality.

This place has a lot of potential, but after the first time I ordered from them I was quite disappointed. The triple halo had the potential to be top quality, but unfortunately the bun that was put with it was very mediocre and it was wrapped poorly. The Pink Salt fries were very disappointing, they were soggy and unseasoned. The peanut butter milkshake was amazing but for +£6 it should be twice the size. I will be back to try other things on the menu and hopefully the dine in experience is better. I have no problem with restaurants charging high prices, but when you charge above average, customers are entitled to expect top quality and big portion sizes

Incredible vegan burgers! Favourite things I've had on the menu are the smoky Carolina burger (super tasty BBQ burger with crispy onions) and the Flame Fries (topped with deep fried jalapeños). The biscoff milkshake is also really good. I've taken several non vegans here too and they've all raved about the food. Just a small diner setting so a bit more suited to takeaway if it's busy. The server was really nice too.

The food is great. I know Halo burger is trying to reproduce that cheap fast food vibe, but the place just felt and looked grotty and grimey. If I'm spending £20 on a burger, chips and drink I need to be sitting down somewhere nice, not seating that looked like it came out of a skip! Thanks!

Great tasting burgers but very messy to eat. The vibe of the restaurant is “quick eat” but the burgers are quite slimy and messy so you spend longer inside trying to clean up after the mess you’ve made. There are only 3 tables in the restaurant, very small - probably more catered to take-aways... but I wouldn’t eat the burger on the go because of the mess! Also took a good 10 minutes before our food was ready which doesn’t really appeal to their “quick eat” vibe. We visited on the 3rd day after restaurant had opened so perhaps there are still little nicks they are trying to work out. Thumbs up for taste - was a great hamburger. Bit pricier than your normal burger though. Would go again if service was speedier.

On the upside, the food was absolutely delicious! Juicy patties, crunchy nuggets, yummy sauces - everything you need from a burger joint. On the downside - as other comments here mention, the portion sizes are ridiculously small for the price, so it’s not really good value for money. I realize the owners want to use the best plant-based products (and it tastes like it!), but I would seriously hesitate to order from here again because of it. In short - enjoyed my meal, but was left hungry for more.

My favorite vegan burger joint, hands down. And my non-vegan friends could not tell the difference! The "Halo Burger" is fantastic and their sauce is to die for. Reminds me of the Big Mac sauce. It's truly amazing. Their "Don't Have a Cow Fries" are fabulous and remind me of a poutine I can no longer eat. I love them. I also tried the chicken nuggets but these were way too salty for me. Best vegan burgers I've ever had.

The flame burger was disappointing because it was alot smaller with thin patties and it looked more like a smashed together wonky little cheeseburger with jalapenos. Taste of the actual burger was ok. The heat level was good and not too hot. I'd give it a 6.5 overall. For a vegan thing it was passably meaty. Onion rings very nice. Loaded chips not bad. For how it came the burger should be cheaper.

One of my favorite vegan spots in town! Definitely hits the spot for greasy fast food perfectly right and all plant based and cruelty free - an absolute dream! I've brought two non-vegan friends here and both have loved it! One of them so much he's seriously considering going vegan as well now cause he didn't think vegan food could be this delicious beforehand 😅😊 Just wish they'd deliver all the way to N7 so I wouldn't have to take public transportation during a pandemic to get some good fast food 😅💕
