Great little Turkish discovery in the area. Run and managed by the owners, this restaurant offers up a range of culinary Turkish treats cooked perfectly. Service is excellent and highly commended. Parking is a little challenging in the area but it is well worth the trouble. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

A very Well managed a modern Turkish restaurant. Service is really good . Food is good. Most of the plates are well adapted to British taste. A little bit off from Turkish or Mediterranean originals. It is very very surprising to find 5 different types of Turkish Raki at the menu. Most of the Turkish restaurants just serve 2 max 3 .

Amazing authentic Turkish food, best I had in London! Had cold starters, lahmacun, sigara boregi, ribs and Adana kebab, they were all incredible. While the food is already great enough to bring you back to the restaurant every week, kind and attentive staff put 5 more stars on top. A true gem in London 👏👏

It's almost been a year since I've been here..the food and service was just as excellent as I remember it to be! Fresh ingredients, beautifully presented with wonderful service despite them being very busy. Ahmed and his team have set the bar high and continue to deliver. There's no other place I would go for a Turkish meal despite having moved from the area. It really has to be tried !

Up dated review 6th March 2022 Hatay is about to celebrated its 3rd and and half anniversary having opened in the December of 2018 and is now well established in the hearts of many of its customers. Its Turkish in it's menu, offerings dishes like Tavuk Cigeri ( chicken livers in port sauteed in butter), Erikli Ordek ( Roasted duck leg with prune) which just falls of the bone .The fish courses have quite a repretation ,Try the Sea Bream which just melts in the mouth and gets better each time i order it ,what the chef dose with the accompanying sauce has to be tasted which is inspired. Their octopus is to be seen and savored I'm talking whole tentacle not Rings { see customer photos) I personally would recommend the Monk fish accompaned in a tomato white wine sauce. And as for the salmon, 6 stars awarded in my opinion the star fish dish seated on a bed of cream Spinach. A most welcome return Dish ( see photo ) as a personal favourite for a special one day treat .Watch out for more additional dishes from time to time For dessert Incir Tatlisi ( Figs stuffed with walnuts, baked in a sugar syrup, Bailey's cream and served with gelato or Ayva ,Quinceh Found nowhere else is their pistachio icecream bombe, a real palate cleanser at the end of the meal and in my opinion the top dessert along with the Chocolate bombe. While the carameliised pumpkin is a required taste You either love it or hate it I love the flesh , its the skin part that needs to grow on me . New dishes are added from time to time Like the house special HATAY SINI KABABI mouthwatering. Or the Turkish Lamb Shank Soup / Paca Corbasi starter A required pallet for the Western European Taste buds but well worth a try if like me you like new cuisine . With an excellent wine and gin list beleave it or not *🥂 what better can you ask ? As from 6th September 2021 Hatay is opened Monday Closed 12pm to 22:00 hrs Tuesday to Saturday 12pm to 21.00hrs Sundays Currently close on Tuesdays The venue Seats round 60 inside so plenty of room for groups or just that intermate meal for two or even dining alone . As from 12th April 2021 a New out side terrace has been added seating 24 customers at various tables A retractable awning adds to the atmosphere as photos I took will show Being brand new ,Windows were installed back on the 17th May 21 which are are also retractable reguarding the weather. Strangly it's Sunday that are extremely popular so I would advise to book in advance to avoid disappointment I love this venue, very friendly staff now on first names but then l have been back some sixty five plus times ( I'm a devotee ) its established its self and gets better with each visit Do come and try it out for your self Well worth the Five star rating many customers are giving this place They are currently doing a take out service Via UBER with at a 15% discount when customers collect themselves Please ring the restaurant for information Also offer is a children's menu for little appetites . We waited 30 minutes between starters and mains and the restaurant wasn't even busy. When we asked about our food, we were told we ate the starters too quickly..... We had 3 different starters between the 2 of us. Very strange customer service. Never experienced something like this before. Food was decent although definitely overpriced. Not sure what all the raving reviews are about. We paid a higher than average price for Turkish food only to be told we ate too quickly 🥴

A belated birthday dinner with my lovely friend. Hatay is definitely the go to place for lively ambience and the food is outstanding. I ordered the beef ribs as my main. The presentation was beautiful and the meat was so tender, melt in the mouth. My friend ordered the lamb shank which was soft and flavourful. I ordered Kunefe as my dessert - deliciously sweet and light. Highly recommended and thank you to the all staff.

Was recommended this place by a friend as We happened to be in the area for wedding dress shopping and wanted to boomndinner for after. Lovely food. I always think you can tell a lot about a restaurant based on how good their house wine is and theirs was great. We had the mixed hot starter and hummus to start, mixed grill, sea bass, lamb cutlets as mains and a baklava to share for dessert. All was excellent. Although we were in the area for other reasons, as we left we all said that we would travel to the area just for the restaurant in future, it was that good. The herby potatoes were lovely I could have eaten a bucketful! Highly recommend 👌

Great food, quick service. However waiters do not wear masks, including kitchen staff. Menus are laminated plastic and do not appear to be cleansed after each use. Also, I thought salt and pepper shakers at the table were now completely banned? Other than this I would say it is one of the best Turkish restaurants in SW London.

We said to the waitress that we are aiming to leave for the theatre at 7:15pm latest. She communicated it with the manager/owner and he made sure the kitchen prepared all our food promptly. The starters were delicious. Must try - the octopus. For main we had two of the lamb dishes, the duck, the salad, lamb skewer (children menue) - all just finger licking delight! Deserts and the variety of coffees were just perfect! This is a 5 star restaurant! The staff are very efficient, polite, friendly, but not overly friendly. Prices are a bit higher than the average prices in Raynes Park restaurants, but are well worth it!! It’s a must visit restaurant and we are coming back tomorrow for lunch with a guest of ours, who has been dining in many Michelin star restaurants. I can’t wait to hear his opinion tomorrow. I am sure he will love it!

The food is better than average but is over priced for quality and quantity of food. Some of the main dishes were just deconstructed kebabs sold more than double the price of one. The starters are on price point. The staff are attentive, welcoming and the restaurant is clean and well presented. The lunch menu is ok value but the size of the wraps have shrunk. The lunch menu is not available on weekends.

Modern Turkish dining in well-lit, spacious and comfortable surroundings, within walking distance of Raynes Park railway station and its high street. An unrivalled Turkish dining experience. Although the cuisine here is Turkish, don’t let that fool you into thinking this is just another kebab joint - the attention to detail and presentation of the dishes here is excellent. The freshness and high quality of the ingredients is also worth mentioning. Alcoholic drinks are served - I had a bottled Efes last time I drank, but the mint tea and Turkish coffee (made to your choice of sweetness) are also very good.
