The #Foodie Group loves coming to the Haven. We are looked after so well by Julius and Martin. The food was as wonderful as ever, with an excellent choice of wines and cocktails. It is such an elegant and fully covid safe environment. Despite a couple of fussy eaters in the group, everyone left happy and well-fed. We recommend the squid, sirloin steak, calves liver and Eton Mess. There is also an excellent vegetarian selection. We also suggest that you arrive hungry as the portions are very generous. We look forward to our next visit here.

Consistently excellent food, impeccable service and an extensive wine list. With regards to covid, the staff wear masks and the tables are separated by elegant looking screens so it's safe from that perspective. It's always a pleasure dining here.

I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. With everything thank you so much for making it such a special day.

We had a family wedding reception here and came back for the anniversary. It's such a welcoming place, the barmaid even remembered our family and warmly welcomed us in. Pre-dinner cocktails are carefully made and delicious! Very inventive concepts, like cappuccino martini, which was very well received by our party. Dinner was a 3 course set menu, and it's was all delicious! Delicate pieces of meat, flavourful vegetables and a stuffed aubergine that was very moreish. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive and peaceful, in that they didn't come across as erratic or irritating, but well balanced and friendly. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening and a great place to celebrate any occasion

A beautiful restaurant. The staff is friendly and warm. I felt a little exposed sitting in a middle table, maybe because of the high ceilings it's not very cosy. The art is beautiful and their food is great. We were a big group and tried almost all the food on the set menu (chicken, fish, prawns, duck), not a single person had anything negative to say. We were all very please with our meal.

We reserved a table this evening, turned up 45 minutes late ( we did call) the place was packed but nothing was too much trouble. My partner has a gluten allergy and Martin the manager went the extra mile to ensure her order was not contaminated. The service and food were excellent and compared to Central London excellent value. Look forward to the next visit.

I have been coming to the Haven for many years not only to eat in the restaurant but for many enjoyable functions. We hade our silver wedding party here many years ago and my 60th last year.I decided to make my wife’s 60th this week and take over the whole venue. The venue was dressed so nice I was blown away with it. The food exceptional and on such a large scale. I have been overwhelmed by all my guests who have all said it was faultless in every way and the food just fantastic. Can’t wait for the next celebration once I’ve saved up. Julius is a true professional where only the best will do.You won’t go far wrong.

This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. when I I need a decent supper, this restaurant comes straight to my mind. outstanding and all sorts of food and a large menu.helpful staff, and pleasant mood. We opted, as usual, for the Prix Fixe meal, and three of us had the goat cheese with rocket, one had the chicken livers and the fifth one had tempura prawns. All prounounced themselves very happy with their choices. For mains, two had the grilled cod with potato cake; two had the chicken scnnitzel (after I had ascertained from the lovely waitress that the chicken was free range !) and the fifth one chose the lamb steak. All the dishes were perfect. The service was excellent and it must be a great comfort to the owner, Julius, to know that the service is as impeccable as normal even in his absence.

I booked a Very Special Birthday Party at The Haven for last month. It was a buffet lunch for 70 people. My daughter and I dealt with the owner, Julius Oberegger We were shown the buffet menu, which consisted of about twenty dishes, hot, cold, meat, poultry, fish and vegetarian, salads and fresh vegetables, and a wonderful selection of desserts. When I asked how many items I could choose, Julius told us everything on that list would be on the buffet table. The party was an absolute delight. The restaurant is quite beautiful, the food and wines, outstanding, and the quiet organization by Julius and his staff in the background meant that everyone had a wonderful time. Friends and family are still telling me how fabulous it was!!! I enjoyed it so much, I'm tempted to have another 'Special Birthday' party next year. I

I've been here several times for client lunches, a few for personal visits and even had a staff party here. The food is never a let down and the steak is always fantastic. Even at Christmas when the place was packed, the service and quality of food was exceptional. Bar staff can always knock you up a cocktail and even happy to advise when you give them a list of random ingredients that you like! I am going back again in a few weeks for my besties birthday dinner and am looking forward to it. A rare gem in this neck of the woods. A reliable place that you don't have to second guess. Highly recommended. It can be a tad pricey though so don't think a tenner will buy you a night out.

We were invited to an 80th Birthday Party and drove from Bournemouth to London N20. When they said The Haven we immediately thought of a Hotel near us but obviously it wasn't. The Restaurant was very welcoming and being a party our friends had taken the whole place for the night. The staff were lovely and chatty and the Food was delicious. Being a party there were 4 choices to choose from. Starters, mains and desserts. I had a tumble of smoked salmon and asparagus in a light dressing followed by lovely breast of chicken with butternut squash puree and creamed potatoes and kale. The whole plate was delish and I ate everything. The desserts were the same for everyone. A chocolate mousse, a set custard and a raspberry sorbet. The sorbet and the mousse were great but I couldn't eat the other dessert as I was full. Whether these dishes were on the normal.menu I don't know but I recommend this establishment. There was entertainment in the form.of a singer who was marvellous and kept us thoroughly entertained. A wonderful night was had by all.

We held our wedding reception at The Haven for 30 close family members and wanted it to be very special and I can assure you it certainly was. Julios and his staff exceeded our expectations by far, the table and chairs were set up beautifully,the introductory Prosecco cocktails and canopies were a great touch,the food from starter to dessert was excellent,the portions more than ample and the drinks were flowing continuously.Our guests were totally fulfilled in every way, the service was professional and very efficient. I would recommend this place to anybody wishing to throw a special party there.Having over twenty five years experience in the catering and hospitality industry I can honestly say this place comes tops with the very best.

One of the nicest and cleanest places to eat around ideal for all occasions, the food is very good and the staff are very pleasant.There is a bar to meet and have a drink before going into a large dinning room with white table cloths and silver wear, after dinner you can take coffee back in the bar area.
