Reviews of Hazev Restaurant
R. E.
Amazing venue.
They have a separate cafe shop and a la carte restaurant which is good.
Lots of delicious Turkish treats on sale!
Went to the a la carte section and got some classics such as Borek, Iskander, Bulgur wheat; lentil soup and baba ganoush.
Very delicious food. Good portion sizes to share and place was very clean.
Great service and bathrooms are very fancy.
Worth a visit! Going again for some treats at the shop!
R. C.
Great selection of food. Super place for breakfast or a little date. The Turkish coffee was good and the omelette was nice. Also reasonably priced
D. B.
Good. But not amazing. Service was very slow on a very calm Saturday evening. Baba ganoush was good, but my iskender didn’t come on a bed of fresh home made pita like is indicated on the menu . Also it the yoghurt portion in the iskender could be bigger. On the other hand the dessert was incredibly good.

Hazev to me is a standard Turkish restaurant with some redeeming qualities.
Firstly, the customer service was phenomenal as every waiter/waitress made you feel right at home. Given the big size of the restaurant this was appreciated as everyone was made to feel equally welcome and catered to.
The food itself was okay and there was definitely a focus on boasting Turkish flavours. However in my experience of Turkish restaurants in London, and from Turkey itself having visited the country 4 times, the portions for the main mixed grill was disappointing to say the least. For the same price (even less in most cases) you are served much more than a Michelin sized amount of rice, a few bits of meat and some salad. This certainly detracted from the experience and is a dealbreaker where returning is concerned :/
Dessert somewhat made up for the main as the baklava and kunefe were wonderful. Worth every penny in terms of portion and flavour. The Piña Colada also deserves mention as the candy floss was a great touch.
B. P.
Always delicious food, quick service and great location. Lovely views of the waterfront.
M. A.
We enjoyed our celebratory dinner at Hazev. Food was as delicious as they looked in the pictures we took. The concept of a cafe, restaurant and bar works really well....three different spaces connected by its food and excellent customer care. A must if you are in the area.
V. N.
Fantastic big restaurant with lots of space and delicious food! The halloumi cheese was fantastic and the view of the river was better than ever.
P. G. M.
Probably one of the best service I've ever experienced. Food was delicious and lovely location with views to the water.
D. C.
We sat in the cafe section. There is a great selection of fresh home made Turkish mezes, cookies and drinks. Food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Baklava is crispy, filled with generous amount of pistachios and highly recommended.
B.
Great food, what more can I say... mixed grill was tasty and the starter meze were great....
A. N.
Possibly the best Turkish cuisine I have had in London (and I’m from North London - the hub of Turkish food!)
Mains were fresh, tasty and a good portion size. Dessert was delicious too! The excellent service from Azam meant we had a lovely afternoon at Hazev and didn’t want to leave. Will definitely be back again!
F. A.
I went for a breakfast, ordered egg omelette but it seems that it’s shakshoka and was good, I also got Flafel & Halloumi wrap werved with french fries. and was less that expected .. I ordered turkish tea with mint was light not different then regular tea
A. D.
Fabulous.
The best pistachio tiramisu I have ever had.
All 3 mezzes were so delicious.
Very reasonable prices.
Lovely location.

Nice location and nice staff. We had cakes, tea, wraps etc which was nice. The music was a bit loud though it was early in the day. Someone asked them to turn it down which they did. On the day we were there they didn't accept cash. Not sure if it is like that all the time but it would preclude me from returning more frequently.

Nice relaxing atmosphere and tasty food. Although the salmon with potatoes had no potatoes and when I asked the waitress she went off and brought back 3 tiny new potatoes. When I said is that it she said we don't do sides. I explained it was on the menu and came with the salmon she just said bluntly you only get 1 and you've got 3. No apology or smile, just a blank miserable face. I'm sure this is probably a very nice resterant but sadly the service by 1 unfortunate individual let it down today.
A. S.
Nice sitting, however, very pricy. Small food portions and not the greatest flavour I tried in Turkish food. Probably, you will get the same portions in another Turkish restaurant with half the price. I might just go back again to it for the sitting, but not for the food unfortunately.

Came in with a friend. Lovely atmosphere. Had a cocktail. Their cocktails are very nice & tasty. It’s affordable and customer service is good.
N. Z.
We ordered mixed grill and the meat is juicy. The service is attentive as well.
A. H.
Food was nice but very pricey and service is slow and no one's to sit you down, I had to just get in and find some one to tell them, can I get a table.
Hence why scored 3 stars!
L. C.
This hidden restaurant is located alongside the dock with good views of Canary Wharf. The venue is spacious and provides adequate seating arrangements for social distancing. Passersby frequent the walkway and may be off-putting for outside diners. However, it was not an issue on this visit.
The service is friendly and attentive. For those who do not like to interrupted during their meal for feedback, this is not an issue.
The prices for the meals are standard for the area and not overly expensive. Turkish cuisine provides a multitude of dishes. The food is plentiful and naturally seasoned. There is no real punch of flavour, but they are nice in the way they are presented.
Overall it is a good mid-ranged dining experience with friendly staff who make you feel welcomed. Worth a visit.
L.
Reasonable prices though portion size could be a tad bigger as I was left hungry! The lamp kofte was amazing and they allowed me to swap the cous cous with French fries so thank you!!! Extra stars for that. Lovely lovely atmosphere and started to get busy but staff were still at hand and progressional and friendly.
E. J.
Great service and excellent food, love this place, beautifully located in the heart of Canary Wharf👌
Zuhal’s service was 10/10 and even though the restaurant was busy she made sure everything came on time 👍👍👍

WOW oh WOW ,Spent a few days in London celebrating my wife very belated 40th Birthday (due to Lockdown) on our final night decided on a slap up meal and something a little different for both our palates was in order a little DLR ride up from our Accommodation in Limehouse had planned to go elsewhere until the elsewhere was fully booked so we took a walk & getting lost was our blessing in disguise as we stumbled across Hazev Restaurant
Table for two at this beautiful looking Turkish restaurant alongside the Quayside we had a table on the open terrace & after some detail reading decided on the Ekin Menu 2 Mezes A Main and a drink £25 each
Now I love food from far away lands where as my wife is a little more selective so based on her tastes the options on the Ekin Menu seemed the right option
Within a few minutes complimentary ice & slice water was on our table with our choice of Efe's Pilsner Lager (I hadn't had this since I was in Turkey 12 years ago) ,a few minutes later our Mezes arrived my wife chose the Red Lentil Soup (with six slices of baguette fresh bread) & some Feta Cheese and Spinach Filo Pastry Parcels on a bed of Salad Leafs think they were called Mercimek Corbasi & Borek And my two mezes were called Kasarli Mantar which was mushrooms garlic onions and tomatoes with melted cheddar cheese and Sucuk ,Spicy Sausage pieces on a bed of salad leafs and tomatoes
The Food looked stunning and was beautiful presented and everything tickled our taste buds ,it was absolutely stunning ,if you like spices that are not too over powering your love it ,I don't like cheese as a rule (prefer it melted) but tasting one of the Filo parcels it was beautifully cooked to perfection
For the main we both had the Hazev Mixed Grill ,with Salad Cous Cous Kofte Diced Lamb and Diced Chicken large cubes ,once again brilliant presentation and the food was cooked to perfection & was delicious ,there was quite sizeable portions even my wife who isn't the biggest eater ate all hers
We were quite stuffed afterwards and both decided against a pudding but if we had I am sure it would have been perfect ,decided on another beer to wash down all the delicious food
Came to pay and was surprised by the Service charge but if I am honest I was ready to tip these guys for their fantastic efforts but honestly if you love something different you can't go wrong with Hazev ,it must have been a huge struggle for these guys to keep going through a pandemic but credit where it is due Every single member of staff who we interacted with was absolutely brilliant
Hazev also has a bar/pub one side of it and a deli on the other side with all options to eat Al fresco or just on the terrace the choice is yours
I do have one regret & that is I live too far away for a delivery or for a pick up but that said if we visit London again Hazev is a place I will 100% be returning too
P. T.
Had lunch in the cafe and it was a hidden gem. Staff was extremely kind, the wraps were delicious and so were the olives. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere, with a view of Canary Wharf right on the canal. Would love to go back.
S. B.
The food is delicious! We’ve been here twice now and both times were top notch. The vegetarian menu has some solid choices, but it would be nice to have more. The atmosphere has just the right amount of pep. The staff are quick and friendly. Will definitely eat here again.
C. S.
Lovely. I love the place and its hospitality. I usually come here to enjoy the meeze, but today I came to work. I just came ordered tea. Not good business for them. I just needed a place to sit since my internet did not work. I sat for two h and even got a free refill. What a family! Best place in the CW!
Their food is fantastic and staff lovely.
J. O.
Great location with water views. Good food and plenty of choices. A lot of seating inside and outside. #eatouthelpout made it very cost effective too. Good customer experience. I’ll definitely go there again to try something else. 😍😋
D. S.
We had the mixed grill which was nice and just enough for one person.
C. N.
I have been to cafeteria side, and it is really lovely and food is delicious!
V. J.
to be honest, terrible
rice overcooked meat burnt salad sour it feels as if the restaurant is so poor that it cannot afford to do something more I mean on a plate I know a Turkish restaurant and where food is put on Big Plates there is a lot of it here as in the photo you see very little of everything I didn’t take pictures of the soup and those dishes that I prepared for the other guys, but for me personally it’s horror
k. k.
I only got to the café section of the restaurant and I got to say it is a very chilled place with good coffee and hot chocolate. The window view of canary wharf, even though being the ground floor, makes it an amazing experience.
A. B.
Been here already couple of times, food is very good quality, love the atmosphere of the place, spacious, cozy and very relaxing. The staff is smiling and kind.
P. C.
Nice spacious restaurant close to Canary Wharf tube station. Service was good and food was nice. Prices/value reflects the location and clientele.
Lots of menu options for vegetarians also great Halal option for Canary Wharf.
I had the aubergine casserole with Feta cheese, roasted almonds, fresh tomatoes, peppers and mulberry molasses which was very good.
T. S.
Good, but not amazing. The food was very good. The but the restaurant was freezing cold. You should not have to sit in a coat to eat. The fabric of the restaurant was tired with flooring missing. Easy items to resolve, but which really let the place down.
M. U.
Great service, food is standard, not anything special, salmon was terrible, price is a bit over, but overall not worth going over others
H.
Food was tasty and service was good. However the seating chairs were unclean.
S. S.
The food is very good and the staffing very friendly too. Would definitely recommend this place.
M. S.
This Turkish restaurant was quite a surprise. Excellent views of the canal at Canary Wharf, and the food choices are stellar here with both vegetarian and non vegetarian mezze and main course options. We did the combos for sharing and all the kababs and mezze items were delicious. One of the best places in London for a nice dinner evening.
T. M.
Delicious food, grilled meats, the best baklava I've ever heard and fantastic service. London prices of course but if you can afford, highly recommend
S. M.
A luxurious Turkish restaurant with great service and helpful staff. The menu is extensive with lots of choices of drinks and desserts.
Inside is very comfortable with a great ambience. There's areas for families and those without children and it's certainly a good choice for date night. Good views of Canary Wharf in the daylight.
T. A.
Hazev is a stones throw from Bank St and situated right be the water.
There are two distinct parts - a bar with great service and the main restaurant.
Service is really very good and the food excellent. Quality Turkish fare with a reasonable wine list.
Definitely good for groups.
It is relatively cosy for what is quite a large restaurant.
P. M.
Excellent service. Friendly staff.
Regardinf the food: Bread wasn't fresh at all. It was old bread that was just heated. When you bit into it you can see that it was super dry.
The vegetarian mezze is good but its minimum 2 people. Would be great if they just offere a vege plate for 1 person.
Halloumi and the "hot" dishes was actually a bit cold.
M. M.
Amazing
Thank you for such a nice food and amazing service 🥰❣❣❣
Highly recommended
T. T.
The place nice but it was a bit busy for a Wednesday evening. We had to wait a lot even for ourvorder to be taken and then for the food. We had grilled lamb and sword fish with potato but as you see not a very big portion was around £17. If you are very hungry have some starters. The food was tasty just the service should improve. Almost £4 for a lemonade...
S. V.
These staff needs training.. such a bad attitude from the girl at the cafeteria part of Hazev.. can’t take it.. please improve.. we know the owners of this place and it’s hard to build a business like this and can’t stand to be taken down by bad staffing.
Y. S.
Nice place. Ordered nachos and burgers at the bar food IS just OK.
K. M.
Lovely Turkish restaurant with a large menu. I went for the meze platter to share which was loads of food and a really good choice! Had a traditional Turkish tea and dessert too which was delicious!
M. P. M.
100% recommended
The waiter was kind and helpful . The food was delicious and on time . Toilets very cleaned .
The best I have ever had in my life .
U. S.
I was happy to see a reasonably priced Turkish restaurant in this part of London. High marks on the grilled meats of which I had chicken lamb and ground. Calimari was over breaded and with a sweet sauce but it was fresh. I tried a Turkish red wine which was underwhelming but inexpensive and did not pair with the grilled meat but might have been okay for a fish dish. Turkish coffee was perfect except they didn't bring water with it which is the norm. I do recommend the restaurant and will try a fish dish on my next visit.
A. M.
Excellent Canary Wharf fresh Turkish. Catering for those interested in a fresh lite meal, or those wanting a hefty meaty treat. There are 3 parts to Hazev. A bar, deli and a restaurant. Each fills it's function beautifully. Too many favourite dishes to name, this place shines for breakfast, lunch and dinner , or just drinks. How do they do it.
Anatolian wine, different fresh juices, a fresh breakfast mezze platter, freshly baked breads, succulently flavoured meats. All in a cozy stylised atmosphere. There's a story here about what the place pays homage to and what they believe. We've never found out as we're too busy enjoying :)
S. K.
One of the best restaurants in London, the food, service, people, beautiful view and atmosphere is perfect every time I've visited. You can't beat their Skandar, my Father still harps on about it being the best meal he ever had and for a 81 year old man, he's been around 😂
I had my wedding meal here with family in the private area and the team were amazing! They went above and beyond, including the Manager. Thank you. I cannot recommend them enough 💐💐💐
Oh and their cafe next door is great for a coffee catch with friends, family or date 😊
C. H.
We dined in the cafe area as the restaurant was busy and we wanted outdoor seating, Staff were really friendly and the food was great cloth I would have liked a slightly bigger portion
D. K.
Good service, kind staff, yummy food and very delicious kunefe desert 😋😋😋 The price is slightly above average 🐿️
W. B.
Nice place, nice food, one less star short of the five only for portion size could be a bit bigger.
U. K.
We went here with a group after work. The food had lovely fresh ingredients and quality made but was let down by getting cold quickly, small portions and excessive price
N. S.
I had kunafe here which was perfect. Not too sweet and the cheese in the middle made it amazing.
L.
Only been once but the meal was lovely, the atmosphere was quiet and the waiters were attentive. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The chicken skewer with kuskus and salad was very well made. I'd go again.
J. O.
Just had dinner @ Hazev - not too sure about some reviews about portion size?? I could hardly finish my meal and I’m a hearty eater! The staff memorised our order - which was quite a lot. All in all, good service, good food and lovely staff as well. I recommend Hazev👍🏾
C. P.
Waiters/waitress came over a bit too much that we felt rushed. Food was good 🥰
A. M.
The best Turkish food on the isle of Dogs. The location is great by the docs. Very good food, really friendly staff. Can be busy during weekends but surely worth the visit.
K. D.
Amazing experience, we visited with friends. We shared starters, pastrami pasty was delicious. I had seabass with spinach, love it.
Definitely künefe recommend for dessert.
Staff was very attentive, great services by gorkem and gözde.
M. A.
Been here twice. Healthy food and a genuine experience. Lamb shank was awesome as was the sea bass. Service could have been a bit better.... communication was an issue
S. A.
Their kunafa is mouth watering. Overall good food and halal. Worth visiting next time.
N. S.
Delicious food, very pretty restaurant and great service
J. V.
Nice place to eat and drink. Would recommend this place. Very good prices
A. S.
Amazing, fresh and tasty food. Humus one of the best in town. Friendly staff.
K. R.
The atmosphere was great and the food delicious.
I'll come back!!
L. M.
Love this gem in Canary Wharf. Keep on returning even after years. Nothing to fault for and so much to like about this place.
A. A.
The Hummus and the parsley salad is to die for and the coffee is good as well. I like their style of furniture and feels cozy. If the staff would smile and be friendly, would add up to the great place it is.
G. P.
Love this restaurant! Staff are so friendly and accommodating, the decor and atmosphere inside is lovely and the food is amazing. Meat here is so tender, the fish is amazing.
I love the kunefe dessert! One of my favourite restaurants.
A. A.
Originally I had given Hazev 5 stars. Now without the Aslan Menu option I am having to take a star away. It was because of it I used to look forward to my visits. It was a complete experience.
PLEASE BRING BACK ASLAN MENU or at least something similar.
C. L.
Delicious food , kind staff and amazing venue
I'll definitely go back :)
P. N.
Good ambience and nice selection of food items on the menu. Mezze is highly recommended!
T. H.
Lovely restaurant by the waterfront. Would note that portion sizes aren't huge, so if you're incredibly hungry would recommend ordering more
D. R.
Tasty meals across the water from the wharf. I love how this venue has the café, the restaurant and the bar areas. Thankfully the takeaway part of the cafe has stayed open so I've been able to get some tasty chicken wraps and salads to eat at home. I'm looking forward to when restrictions lift and we can eat in again, but until then takeaway will have to do!
R. A.
Food was good, babaganoush could have tasted better, falafel was a bit dry. The chicken shish was quite tasty. I really wanted to try the moussaka and it lived up to my expectations! The owner was very attentive, there was an issue with our waitress but he dealt with it well :)
Y. S.
They now serve much smaller portions at a higher price and not take customers to the restaurant if you are nor ordering a main course even though it is practically empty.
F.
3 stars for the nice service, lovely decor of the restaurant itself and for the delicious dessert of which I ordered kunefe which was perfect in taste and did not disappoint. The prawn starter and tabbouleh was a favourite of ours and was very tasty and flavourful. We also ordered the Borek (filo pastry) and falafel which was okay. Unfortunately however, the portion sizes have gone really small which I was surprised and disappointed to see considering the prices of the starters and mains. The Mixed Grill costs almost £17 so I thought it was really poor to see the tiniest amount of couscous provided, with very few pieces of meat and chicken cubes and in particular, the 1 piece of kofte was about a quarter of the size of an average size kofte! I also separately ordered the kofte dish and again, for £14.35 the portion of couscous was tiny and the kofte pieces very flat and small. Had I bought the main meal alone, I would have left hungry. I think the owners should consider increasing their portion size (especially of the couscous because it really is the tiniest amount) and I can see there are a lot of reviews with the same feedback. Overall, it is a very beautiful restaurant in a lovely location with a good menu but portion considering prices is really something to think about especially when other Turkish restaurants for similar prices provide a greater amount in portion. I think I would come back but just for the tea and dessert.
M. B.
Nice food, nice staff and great location. Ignore the haters on here.
E. B.
Very elegant design and nice view through to canary wharf..staff members were very kind..soup and the mixed grill was really tasty and fresh..if you have a special guests it worth to go there..normally the prices are high cause of the location and the quality.
S. M.
Classic Turkish menu. Turkish good service; formal for British tastes but very good. Food better done in Tas in the Cut or Tas Pide by The Globe where you feel you're in Turkey. Börek fillings a bit drowned by pastry, lentil soup good but not as minty as you'd expect and çoban kavurma slightly lacking vegetables, juicy peppers especially. All tasted good though and Turkish house wine very drinkable. Not a fan of Heron Quays' little Manhattan vibe but if you're here for work you could do a lot worse than eat here for your dollar.
I. P.
Food is delicious but the starters could be a bigger size. The kitchen and service are quiet slow too.
N. H.
Good, solid Turkish food. I ordered some mezzes and a vegetable stew as takeaway recently, and the whole family was asking for seconds. It's in a lovely setting along South Dock and should be a fine place to dine once that is on again.
T. B.
Great tasty food, very clean, excellent looking decor.
U. B.
Hazev is decent and I have been a number of times now. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is well maintained with a nice decor, river facing view and the quality of food is also very good. But sometimes it seems a bit lacking in value for money in terms of quantity of food for the amount paid. Especially when I compare to a neighbouring restaurant like Moira. That is the only reason for 3 star. However I also understand that prices may be premium due to the area - which I assume commands slightly higher rental and staff expenses as well.
S. P.
I am a regular customer and is a really nice place. But the last time I went there I ordered a phalaphel wrap, the only issue was that the phalaphel was not very fresh as I expected to be or It was pre cooked, because it was not crisply and had a very soft texture.
Defenently I will visit this place again but i think the phalaphel needs to be improved.
I. C.
I really enjoy the deli for lunch. Very tasty, healthy menu options, friendly service and plenty of tables.
D. T.
Always have great food in here especially the cakes in the cafe cant reccomend highly enough
O. G.
Beautiful view, good food and delicios limonade. Don't have to book in advance.
A. S.
Nice place to have a drink. Bartender is nice and helpful. Some tables are literally on the street, people will pass you by every 5 seconds. Heaters are not efficient enough, put a lot of layers on.
L. D.
Lovely flavours, a large choice menu and friendly service. Don't remember the name of the meal but it was soo good!
A. O.
The food was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent. Lovely seats outside overlooking the South Quay docks. Would definitely recommend!
M. R.
Enjoyed a family meal here. Service spot on.
Food excellent.
J. L.
Lovely food, great service, friendly staff and great value for money.
Well worth a visit and I will be telling friends and returning very soon.
Thank you
Z. A.
Good food, great location and excellent service.
I. R.
First time but I have to say it was amazing evening with family food was delicious I would suggest friends and family to go there and their service first class, staff were amazing 👏
K. P.
Delicious food and very professional service by Sedet. Slightly expencive and you may think the portions are small when the food is served, but they are just right! the only thing I didn't like is thst the tables are so close to each others and its isually crowded there laud. But definitely worth trying the food.
P. K.
Good place to have a coffee or a quick meal, all served within 15 min, freshly made dessert
R. J.
I've been to this restaurant more than a few times because it's on my way to work and I must admit it's one of the best restaurants in Canary Wharf. They have a nice little cafe area and the main restaurant never disappoints and the staff are always on point and extremely welcoming I would recommend for dates and just casual lunches as well.
D.
I have eaten at Hazev several times. The food is always good, prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly and attentive in a good way. I really appreciate that we were not rushed like some restaurants with a 2 hour limit. Good food and good value.
I. D.
Lovely experience. Service was excellent. Food was yummy
A. F.
Very tasty food. Good atmosphere. Good prices
R. N.
Very spacious restaurant with a good vibe and delicious Turkish meals.
Z. K.
Great location, lovely service and delicious food!
A. B.
Good food and staff was very attentive.
D. G.
I had to revise down my rating after a recent visit.
We were a big party of about 20 people. The service was pretty sluggish and the waitress was trying to argue back when they brought us less desserts than headcounts that everything was fine.
Really sorry to see quality dropping so fast.
==================
Hazev offers a large spacious space that is well decorated and has a great ambience. Also is located in a nice spot of the wharf with water view to some of docklands waterways. Staff are fast and good at their work.
The food, Turkish in origin, is good but it is a 4/5 to me. I would still recommend the restaurant if in the area and looking for this type of taste and flavours.
J. F.
Excellent food and service. The place has a nice atmosphere.
Y. A. a.
All day breakfast 👍🏻, acceptable price .good taste and location, one of the cakes presented with mold !? ,we have asked to change it and they did. Tea ☕️ was also good
G. K.
The best place in Canary wharf, so friendly staff, best service, nice food, great tastes, great baklava and kiounefe! not only Anatolian but close to mediteranian kitchen also, as we the greeks, always prefer to go for lunch there and not only! They also make the best greek/tourkish coffee in the area!
E. B.
Food was quite nice, BUT: when we visited yesterday, there were very few COVID measures in place. We have been to several restaurants since reopening and this was the worst. Tables were less than 2 metres apart, same menus etc handled from table to table without wiping, picked up our payment card rather than letting us do it ourselves and as we were sat near the kitchen we could see that they were emptying and reusing the same bread bowls for multiple tables without washing/wiping them. Perhaps not one to visit if you are concerned about the virus risk.
T. A.
Great food, great atmosphere. Beat Turkish restuarant in E14.
J. c.
Excellent service, great quality and really tasty food
M. D.
Great place for dining or you can request to organize a party or any celebration 🎉
Y. M.
Expensive and food isn't that good if price was a bit lower it would have been better
G. B.
Not too busy during weekdays, and the snack menu is quite nice.
S.
Good Turkish cuisine in middle of canary wharf. The seating next to the water is very nice.

Relaxed, stylish and friendly European ambiance. Sophisticated dining. Cultivated, high respect shown to their guests by the care taken in the quality of their offerings as well as the professional seriousness of their personal service. A la carte, in their deli restaurant or outdoors along a beautiful waterway at Canary Wharf lined with all sorts of flowering trees, the dining rooms are glamorous yet eclectic, and airy, and so comfortable. My experience of their cuisine: flawless.

It's always a pleasure coming here as th food is so tasty - staff could be a bit more attentive when it comes to wanting to order, ask for condiments, pay the bill
Q. S.
The food is really nice I always love Turkish food. Especially the mixed grill. And the non alcoholic mojito is very refreshing Good service but the only downside is the portions is small. But it’s worth it so I will definitely come back 👍

Great Turkish restaurant. Have been here a few times for dinner and lunch and even once had a birthday group dinner here. The staff are always attentive, helpful and polite. The food is always really nice, they have a good selection of grilled meats and good set menus.
They also have a nice bar next to the restaurant which is a great space to grab a drink
D. O.
Beautiful authentic Turkish food (although portions of main dishes could be a bit bigger), lots of outdoor seating beside Canary Wharf riverside & a great bar.
H. C.
Been here once before SO Pleased to return here had light lunch/Meze. One of my Fav places 😁😁
N. A.
Beautiful restaurant in the docks around Canary Wharf. Go premium in the a la carte section or opt to sit in the deli for some quick bites.
Which ever option you go for whist lounging in the deep chunky comfy ottoman inspired chairs the hours will pass quickly as you relax and watch the world pass outside.
There are food choices aplenty. Perhaps they could do some more authentic Turkish tea? Or perhaps I simply didn't see it on the menu? Complimentary infused water too.
Recommended.

Every food and drink on Hazev's menu tasted great. I definitely enjoyed eating these delicious food. I will order again. Excellent food! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, good place to come and relax. Stick with the lamb shish it's the better option. The at menu for £33 which includes plenty of starters, any main of your choice, a dessert with tea or coffee is great value. Also ask for the chili sauce is really really good.
K. K.
I come to this restaurant every time I am in Canary Wharf and they get better each time I come.
A. M.
8 years ago in Hazev was my first date with my husband, 14th we were back to selebrate out 8 years together and our 4th wedding anniversary ❤
F. M.
Outdoor sitting is really nice - food is just okay and portions are really small
S. F.
Really nice halal fine dining in a beautiful location.
K. P.
Very well located bar and restaurant and cafe. Really does cater to all times and events. Having been their several times - the cafe for a quick lunch is great and offers good variety of foods. The main restaurant also very nicely decorated and offers a good selection - however the prices for both the cafe and restaurants i fell a bit pricey and sometimes not the best value for money. The bar on the side is great for a quick drink and catch up with friends after work and does have both inside and outside seating. The inside can get slightly full and cosy..
J. R.
Enjoyed a decent meal here. Great starter and the meat in the mixed grill was cooked beautifully. The only think that let it down was the couscous it was served with which was really dry and quite bland. Prices are fairly reasonable for the location.
K. B. H.
Nice Turkish restaurant with nice view, tasty food
K. C. Ç.
Great location, amazing service, delicious food 👌
N.
Solid east Turkish food, good service, consistent quality and decent location. There's not much to criticise, except maybe the portions are too large! Try a combination of the smaller plates if you want variety in your meal.
C. T.
I can say this is my first time here today but best Turkish Restaurant in London. The food was amazing service is excellent and the price is affordable highly recommended 💯
S. S.
We live nearby so we have been here hundreds of times in the last 6-7 years. This is like our second home, the food/drink is always great and good value for money, and the service is excellent with staff always being very warm. My favorites are kulbasti and the various prawn dishes, make sure you try them!
G. L.
Very nice place with good bar service 👌
R. G.
Visited Hazev for lunch - not my first visit here. Generally good service with friendly staff. My friend ordered the fish stew and I ordered the sea bream fillets. Drinks and food all brought to our table in good time. Flavour and presentation of sea bream was excellent; unfortunately it was let down by the amount of bones left in the fillets. I would expect a few bones however I counted more than 20 - by which time I stopped eating. Such a shame and poor attention to detail.
R. R.
Went there for team lunch. Lovely venue, on the river front. Starters were lovely, I had grilled kebab mix, was not overly impressed with main. However service was lovely. We had a leisurely lunch, didn't feel rushed to finish
S. P. N.
This is one of those places I was dying to try on someone ones recommendation and honestly the food was quite disappointing. The six of us did try and lot of things but for a middle eastern cuisine place the portions were were quite tiny and the mains were ok.
But all the stars are given to the desserts which were yum, and the best Kunafe in London to date!
V. M.
Elegant place with hosts of mouth watering options in their menu. I was in London as a tourist and I wanted to try some middle eastern delicacies served near canary wharf, thought of trying this place and I bet it was a right choice, loved by all my guests. Extra stars for friendly and lovely staff. Food has to be rated high. Right quantity with justified taste. Lamb meat balls and Chkn shish I loved the most.
M. T.
We were staying in the Canary Wharf area over the Jubilee weekend and found this restaurant by chance a week or so before. It is surprisingly large there was no problem in booking a table for sixteen of us. Although it was a Saturday night and very busy we were well looked after. Because we were a large group they gave us a set menu which consisted of a selection of all of their appetizers followed by our choice of main course and dessert. The helpings were generous and very tasty and everyone considered it excellent value for money with drins at reasonable prices
A. R.
Nice restaurant with a good selection of Turkish food. Had meze, which was delicious 😋
M. F.
Amazing delicious food, good and professional service, Beautiful view, nice location
K. C.
Great value fresh Turkish food in the city. Perfect for casual lunches. Plenty of seating. Free mint water on tap. Deli salad options great. Wrap was lovely. VERY polite and attentive staff.
F. R.
Nice atmosphere but the food is very average and overpriced. Small portions and quite disappointing.
S. K.
I was still taking off my coat when they asked what I wanted to drink. They came back 4 times before we were ready with 1 minute intervals. We then waited 90 mins for food. After a polite nudge 40 mins later, we were offered some free cold mezes as starter still wasn't out. Food itself was nice enough. I'd probably enjoy more as a takeaway diner. My mum's salmon steak was tasteless though. Plates were cleared far too quickly, the party were still eating the last bits and not quite finished. I held onto mine! In the end my brother went to them to pay because the bill would have been another 30 minutes. In summary poor experience due to service, ok food, nice views. I wouldn't book for an important meal, however if you order the right thing, it's tasty.
D. W.
Went to the Hazev Café section with a friend since it appeared to be Christmas party season in the restaurant area (on a Wednesday). In order to leave them to their festivities, we found a table for two right in front of the cold display area. The cafe area is self service with a large quantity of mezzes, Turkish pastries and quiches. Good selection of vegetarian dishes but not so many meat ones (or they had run out by the time we arrived at around 1.30pm - hopefully a testament to their popularity!). Very filling.
L. S.
Outdoor seating. Range of menu items. Delicious food.
S. G.
V good food, however service extremely slow
J. B.
This does traditional dishes, so if you do not like the cuisine do not go here. Many people have written reviews that the food is bad - it is actually good, just not to everybody's taste. There is a nice atmosphere and there is a huge seating area, so whilst it is always busy, it is not part bursting point, which is a refreshing change from most places in the area. There is also a bar and a deli/coffee shop which serve nice pastries.
E. Y.
delicious meals, cosy environment, helpful staff. can't wait for lockdown to be over so i can visit again and have a cuppa turkish style tea.
F. R.
Staff were lovely and most accommodating although we arrived near to closing time. We ordered hot chocolates and a chocolate cake which was amazing and we would definitely recommend visiting for he mains which looked and smelled incredible!
N.
Place was very busy so took ages to get food first for a child. We then waited ages for our starters... The staff were really nice, but seem over worked as there were so many people.... The food was mediocre... Not as authentic as other restaurants serving the same cuisine. The positive is the bar area is pretty nice...
O. H.
came across Hazev by accident and had a lovely experience here. the food was fantastic, very reasonable portions, the wine was good, great atmosphere, calm & serene. didnt break the bank either.
will come again. oh and the baklava is really v good here.
M. D. S.
Perfect dinner! The Prawns are recommended!!!
Muge was so kind and helpful!!!
Prices fair!
Thank you so much **
M. H.
Excellent middle eastern food selection for vegetarian, meats and seafood. Desert are also impressive with different authentic varieties. Gluten free dishes are available and tasty as well. Nice quite ambience and soft music in the background. Superb fast service.
H. K.
Excellent place and food. Serving wide range of Turkish and British food.
P. B.
Local cafe, bar, restaurant. Like it lots.
S. 1.
lovely calm quaint riverside cafe with healthy and very reasonably priced Turkish meze. one of my faves for local lunch and great place to clear your head as well. as easy and affordable as a fast casual restaurant but with more panache
K.
stopped by to watch the euros semi-finals. staff were really accommodating considering the busy circumstances - look forward to coming back for a meal someday!
V. S.
Restaurant itself is nice and the staff are friendly.
I did note the other reviews of people highlighting some problems with the staff. I certainly didn't experience this.
Food is also good and selection is vast. Was thinking of giving it a 4 but I do feel it's a little expensive so dropped to a 3.
S. F.
This rating should really be 3.5 as the food was good but not the best Turkish food I have had. The restaurant is nice and in a good spot between Canary Wharf and South Quay, by the water. The food was good without being great, I shared a starter of Falafal with hummus and salad with daughter, and they were a bit to crispy for my tast.and the whole dish was a bit uninspiring. My daughter had chicken shish with couscous and salad for main and she enjoyed it, I had the kofta on a bed of bread and covered in tomato sauce, salad and covered in yoghurt. It was good but not as good as the version I used to have in 'Sefa' over in Greenwich. Their version was more generous and you could see the koftas, rather them being all sliced up. The stars of the restaurant are the staff who work hard, are so tolerant (we had 3 young kids with us, and they were crawling up the walls and even on the table making mud pies! I was mortified but the staff took it in their stride, and if not didn't let it show. Overall a really nice restaurant with good food,.and great staff and I would be happy to go return.
s. c.
Really good food. Interesting menu, lots of very different options. Fried skewered mussels were nice as a starter, Great mixed grill - not a pub grub portion - but really nicely cooked cuts of tasty, lean meat and had a great dessert of a cheese stuffed pastry thingy in syrup which was lovely.
S. J.
I've been here a few times and it never fails to maintain the high standards that it has. Beautiful decor, friendly staff and lovely food. What more could you ask for
It is a little pricey but you are in Canary wharf after all!
M. C.
I work locally and have been here a few times over the years since it opened - but it's not as good as I remember and perhaps that's why It's not as busy as it used to be. I went last week with a group of eight work colleagues from a range of backgrounds and we had a variety of dishes - without fail we all said the food was bland and unexciting, which you don't expect from this cuisine.
A. S.
The big day, my wedding evening meal with family. A private room by the waters of canary wharf. Great food, great service and ultimately one of the best 3 course meals I e had. The manager was truly accomodating and the staff were perfect. I use to visit this place for a coffee and book read in the cafe side but the restaurant is something else! You need a place in Canary Wharf to eat. This is my home!
A. M.
This is one of those cafes which makes you forget you are in London and taken you straight to the Mediterranean beach side. The food is great and the atmosphere is awesome. The waterside dining experience adds a lot of charm to the place. Best time to visit is during sunny days and warm afternoons.
M. W.
This place is divided into three areas, each very good. The deli is excellent value mez, a nice atmosphere and a great place to sit and read on a Sunday. The restaurant is delicious! With excellent service and again, great atmosphere. The bar is a bulk standard bar, although it is one of the less crowded ones close to Canary Wharf on a Friday night (although still plenty of people). So overall, a really fantastic place to visit.
S. S.
Food is nice but the quantity is less for the price we pay.
G. S.
Friendly service, food was good and well positioned with doors that open the restaurant up onto the water.
D. P.
I have been here a few times, always forget to review, the reason being, by the time I get home, I want to sleep.
The reason is, the food is amazing, great portions, yes the price is a bit high, but you are near Canary Wharf, it is what I'd expect.
The staff are always friendly and the place is never full, it is full of locals and it was great for birthdays.
The view is nice too, the only thing is the lighting is dark, and with all the food you eat, you'll fall to sleep... quite easily!
M. J.
Standard fare. Definitely not in the top half of Turkish food I've eaten in london. Starters are a bit bland, hummus similar to shop bought and the dessert cake was dry. Mixed grill was ok, but nothing to write home about.
S. M.
Its nice place for having some brunch n Turkish tea r some savoury dishes with cold maze, but no notice in my last visit the people r working there they pick urs cups r plates up quickly so its mean they wanted you to leave not letting you chilling anymore.
S. G.
Loved the food and the bread that they serve there. Ambience and service are really good. Tomato soup is excellent. Veg Pasta was different but quite flavourful.
P. B.
Excellent food. Wish we had known that there was an a la carte menu available as well as the Christmas special. Service was good.
E. E.
Pretty decent Turkish food, wide range of dishes that depart from the staples often offered in many other places. Decent wine list to. Service is efficient and attentive.
T. O.
You can eat Turkish foods with perfect view. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. However, while foods are very delicious, some of them are less .
T. W.
Great place for cocktails away from the busy bars of Canary Wharf. Price is amazing. Had a party here, reserving half the bar for ~30 people - it was a great location and Hazev provided pre-made cocktails and a light buffet for the guests. Everyone loved it! Would thoroughly recommend for drinks.
D. H.
This place used to be great six years ago, but had a cold welcome on a return visit and the food was not as good with small portions.
i. n.
Great restaurant. Would definitely recommend the bakery section, their pastys are to die for. One should definitely also get the Turkish tea! The seating has great views overlooking Canary Wharf. The food at the restaurant is expensive though would not recommend.
P. Y.
Very nice atmosphere, the place is quite cosy and simple. Nonetheless, the food is varied and delicious, with Anatolian dishes served.
K. K.
I've eaten here several times and the food is a bit of a hit and miss but overall I always have a good experience. Service is great, wines are fine and their menu makes me want to come back for more experimentation! Recommended.
M. b. t. C.
Modern Turkish cuisine in the heart of canary wharf. Excellent food and service. A large restaurant with a cafe and bar. Opens early from 7. Great place to bring clients. Has a private dining area too.
S.
Service charge was a bit much for not much service. Busy restaurant. Nice location. Clean facilities. Food very average. But was Xmas menu, havnt been in a few years before this but even so, location makes it.
Parking is restricted. Bays are hard to come by. No car park. Hotel car parks are pricey if they let you have a space.
F. K.
Was served the Christmas menu for lunch, didn't get the choice of choosing the normal menu, which I wasn't happy about. As the Christmas menu was very pricey. The food was OK, but could have included in the set menu choice of drinks and other items since the price was quite high per person, for this type of Turkish food.
E. v. W.
Great little Turkish café, with a restaurant next to it. The furniture is old school, and not all of it is comfortable, but most are and they are authentic looking which gives the place a nice feel.
Since not everybody is a fan of the muddy Turkish coffee, the standard coffee you order will be regular 'western' style, but you certainly can order the Turkish original. Nice touch.
Since discovering this place it's where we now regularly meet with friends. It's still Canary Wharf (even if a little south), and it's just so refreshing to not have to go the same old Costa/Nero to meet up.
A. A.
Heard good things about this place, unfortunately it did not live up to its reputation. Table service and staff were lovely, however the quality of food was subpar. Cold bread, stale halloumi, and salmon that tasted bit fishy and frozen. I would likely stick with meat based dishes and opt for simple meze like hummus, bourek, etc.
M. S.
went for a 15 person meal yesterday evening. they were a bit dis-organized as table was not big enough, and their solution was to create an extra table to one side, so we were not all together.
waiter was very slow to get meal started, didn't try very hard to flog us drinks, and mostly left us alone.
had to ask twice for the coffee
served a brandy incorrectly, and was not interested in understanding the problem.
when you're handing over £650 it seems a lot really for not much actual food.
L. N.
Super food, great dessert, nice atmosphere. Best grill I've ever had (tasty, moist, perfect spices, presentation excellent). Not a 5 because service not as it should be.
L. S.
The atmosphere was very restful and the staff were very helpful
R. W.
Very nice food had the mix grill
Staff are friendly and helpful
D. S.
Reasonably good Turkish restaurant - fairly standard in terms of what it offers. Very good value lunch, and one of the few places in Canary Wharf you can usually walk into and eat without a booking or a long queue.
m.
Nice place to meet for a drink. Great food too!
B. O.
Great Turkish food place. Is really 3 different types of hospitality business: restaurant, cafe (with takeaway) and a bar. Restaurant is large, attractive and serves delicious food at a good price. It can accommodate large groups. You won't have a meal for under a tenner, but that's because you are getting food, servive, and surroundings that are worth more than that. There are some excellent set meal options. The cafe area also sells a few grocery items, e.g. yoghurt, as well as offering a "choose your food" plate or takeaway box from the cold deli style dishes. The bar is pleasant, as it's not usually too busy, unless there's more than one large group of people there. There are options for sitting outside with a view of the water.
N. R.
A great place to avoid the crowds of Canary Wharf, just across the foot bridge from Heron Quays station.
Cafe is great value for fresh Turkish food (freshly baked bread).
The cakes are vastly overpriced.
Coffee is mediocre, but the setting is lovely if you get a sofa by the window.
Restaurant seems quite overpriced for Turkish food (which is basically grilled meat and veg from the deli next door).
C. M.
Always great - generous portions, tasty good and lovely atmosphere and staff.
M. A.
Very nice view from the tables outside. Food was very clean and had excellent flavours. Fairly limited beer selection but good entries. Staff are mostly friendly, service was a tad slower than I'd expect but otherwise a good experience.
K. S.
Great food, a bit noisy at night!
Great food, would be good to have more guidance from the personal as to what to choose and some pics on the menu. Service is good but not fast, better for dinner. Well situated, would recommend!
J. R.
A tasty meal and a good choice on the menu
A. C.
Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. 100% recommend
B. C.
It was very delicious and staff was very nice especially tea was very nice.
m.
Lovely staff, excellent food
R. “. C.
Really nice and cozy place in Canary Wharf. Reasonably priced given the location. Atmosphere is great and staff are polite. It's what you would expect.
M. M.
Good food and quick service ideal for a working lunch
G. R.
Fantastic food and very professional service. The atmosphere was great.
Highly recommend.
T. K.
Fantastic food, everything (except halloumi starter) tasted fantastic. Few good choices to drink from as well. I would definitely go back for the food.
A. B.
Lovely food and attentive staff
A. T.
Great bar. Music amazing! Only thing was they seemed to want rid of everyone by 9.30 on a Friday night! Not many in but spoiled it really
A. V.
Nice ambience, great service good food. Mocktails are awesome and so are the starters. Main course could be better. Still recommended for those who love Turkish food.
M. J.
As a middle eastern, I love Turkish food. Hazev is great for most occasions from a party to a date. It has a bar, a restaurant and a deli. Food is a little pricey for what it is, but the portion sizes are just right. You won't go home hungry, that's for sure.
m. c.
Really good food well priced. Been several times
S. S.
Expensive and main courses don't come with a great deal other than the dish itself, side dishes are also expensive. Only offered the child menu after we had already ordered and I have an aversion to service charges!
A. E.
Excellent, and very reasonably priced, mediterrainean food. Their space is huge, divided into a cafe, bar and restaurant. There's outdoor seating, although it's pretty much always in the shade. The service can sometimes be a little hap-hazard, and the noise from the bar spills over into the restaurant at peak times, but the food makes up for it.
J. B.
Not your north london turkish, Great views fine taste and great staff
A. B.
Food is great. Went during lockdown, so review based on food takeaway only. Very helpful service
L. R.
Great Turkish food at decent prices. The bread is fresh and the hummus is delicious. Big fan - especially of the more relaxed deli section, although the white-tablecloth section is just as good, just a more formal vibe.
K.
Great value and service.
Enjoyed the fresh food and bread.
L. R.
Good food. Portions are fair but if you are hungry I suggest a starter and main, you will likely still have room for dessert. The menu is large, so plenty of things for most dietary requirements.
I. S. (.
Excellent food great during the summer months
h. s.
Went to Hazev's 1 month ago and i loved it. Very good service and has a lovely atmosphere. The food was tasty and i really liked the set menu options that they have. I would recommend everyone to try it at least once. Its ideal due to its location and also has Halal food.
S. P.
Great value, good service and delicious food
F. L.
Service can be very odd at times at the restaurant side. Starters come in a slow order. Any extra requests get ignored. Come on I'm a customer!
Food is good.
M. M.
Very good Turkish food! All dishes seem to have a twist. The service was very good although it was quite busy. "Hazev's special" and the hummus were amazing!
D. P.
Karisik Izgara 6.5/10 - really samll portion, one or 2 dices of chicken and lamb, kofte is the smalles i've ver seen. Taste is good and spicy, but lacking salad and sauces.
Soslu Cod 3/10 - Rated low bcos it came quite cold, from frozen perhaps, it was breaded. Baby potatoes. The whole dish looked nice but bland and quantity poor.
Decor 7.5/10
Vibe 6/10 - Sat next to a very noisy bar with music, which is part of the place separated by curtains.
Customer Service 7/10 - very nice people.
Price 5/10 - was expecting more for my money in either taste in food or quantity. But its waterside in South Quay
T. T.
Went for a colleague's leaving do meal. Service was good. Meal not so great in my opinion. Colleagues said they liked it.
We had the set meal.
N. G.
My favourite place in Canary Wharf! Beautiful restaurant, food is outstanding, decoration is absolutely traditional, service is professional! Simply the best place to go. Can not recommend highly enough!
Q. P.
Definately one of the best food experiences I have had. I had the Lamb, wife had the Chicken kebabs. The tabouli was great, and the calamari was nice and fresh and not rubbery.
B. S.
Excellent service. Delicious and healthy Mediterranean food.
s. n. u.
Delicious food and cool place.
L. B.
Beautiful decor. The meat option in the menu is excellent, we try to come to Hazev as much as we can with my friends as the staff is always welcoming and food tastes great.
C. M.
Fantastic food, great variety, generous portions, low-carb/keto friendly too (if you can resist the baklava), really loved it! Would definitely come back.
c. m.
Very good food and service
M. R.
Had a few drinks with coworkers here. It was an enjoyable environment, great throwback music and nice staff.
K. K.
Best food in Canary Wharf area. That simple.
Both cafe/bistro are excellent. Cafe for a lazy Saturday brunch and restaurant for a nice business meeting.
Try Turkish coffee if you want an energy jolt for the rest of the day (and night, and the following morning).
J. C.
Great ambience. Cannot believe to find such an authentic Mediterranean feel in the middle of Canary Wharf . The food is good not amazing but good. Definitely visit to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere
H. R.
The place offers an awesome range of fresh food. I love dining here. Employees are always helpful, prices are fair and the place is always well organised.
m. s.
Menu limited thats in the cafe section. Restaurant may differ.
T.
Decent food, tatsed pretty good but not a typical Arab portion.
Amazing interior, really beautiful on the inside.
Nice staff but a bit slow on a Thursday night.
S. N. R.
Perfect place for Hi tea
c. m.
I loved the atmosphere and service. The food is okay but not great. Food is also way overpriced and the conditions they have on the set menu are ridiculous.
U. M.
Excellent customer service food was fantastic cant complain at all.
Most importantly i was thinking that it will be an expensive meal for two but i was wrong the price was very very reasonable for the quality of food we had i will definitely recommend this place for a dine out
J. M.
Great location and many veg options compared to other restaurants. Superb Taste, portion of dishes. Good service. Strongly recommend.
S. B.
Great Turkish food, friendly staff. Nice atmosphere, portion is a little smaller than expected.
M. N.
Great way to discover Turkish cuisine
D. C.
Beautiful restaurant in the docks around Canary Wharf. The owner was very attentive, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Great place to bring clients.I highly recommend this to everyone.
M. W.
My favourite place to eat lunch in The Wharf. Great selection of lovely Turkish food. Decent selection of beers. Quite well priced. Great service. Recommended.
S.
Decent food. Friendly and attentive service. Wasn't amazing but was very good. Very well done Turkish food.
E. C.
I loved it, very good service and good food 🍲
M. R.
Pretty good food, we also got a very big discount because of the eat out scheme.
L. V.
Fantastic food, friendly staff and good value for money
E. G.
I haven't used their restaurant, but their cafeteria is very family friendly. Delicious food and a good range of desserts as well.
R. M.
I love this place. The best place to go for a relaxed Turkish meal. Very tasty grilled meats and good set menu options with loads of taster plates.
I love going here after a busy week in the office
T. W.
Nice but get the value menu. Fantastic service
K. C.
Love this place. Food flavours are on point and staff are always welcoming and very friendly! Will always recommend.
Z. A.
Friendly staff. Relaxing environment. Good service and the food was delicious and good quality.overall excellent.Thank you
I would highly recommend.

Incredible Experience, at The delicatessen
Food: Great Quality
Service: Moderate Service, Can really vary depending on who serves you,
Price: Very Reasonable
Tip : Ask for a fresh baked loaf it was lovely.
A. E.
I come here at least twice a month, it's refreshing to find such a place in a great location that's not expensive. Love the omelettes and the turkish tea here. You can come here for all sorts of occasions since they have a cafe, a restaurant and a bar
B. W.
Hazev offers three very different options: a casual deli, great for coffee, house wine and meze; a restaurant (recommend the lamb!) and; a thriving bar. I've spent a lot of time in all three, including a really memorable birthday meal in the restaurant. Shady waterfront tables are on offer in all three sections.
C. L.
Good service but for the price, small potions and food was not great, our dishes were quite salty and did not taste like authentic Turkish food.
S. K.
Good food but portions are fairly small and expensive. Had the Turlu dish that said it comes with baby potatoes and it had it had one in it.
M. J.
Good choice of food and good for a drink. Good views of the wharf from south quay. Was early evening when I went in and pretty quiet so not sure how it gets when its busy.
O. L.
Everything there was amazing, beautiful ambient with nice view, comfortable tables and chairs, nice food , good price, friendly staff... I highly recommend Hazev and I'll be back all the time.
J. P.
I bought a chicken wrap for lunch as take away, the price was reasonable and the service was fast. As part of purchase they offered a free salad of our choice. Food was warm and delicious.
S. T.
Peaceful atmosphere and top service. I have been telling all the restaurants to add photos of every dish on the menu.
A. R.
Very well socially distanced and friendly staff
Food was not as good as our previous times. We had ordered a casserole.
M. L.
Dependable and tasty food, if somewhat expensive. Staff tend to be a little "jobsworth" - you can't buy drinks at the bar and then have that bill transferred to your table. A little tiresome.
M. M.
Lovely place to have a coffee or tea with a sweet or savory snack.
M. S.
Excellent food with great service. Recommended.
E. A.
They have a café for a quick bite and snacks but also a nice restaurant for fine dining. Both highly recommended. The Humus is fantastic.
K. H.
Food was great, went there as a party of about 40 and the service was very good - the food came quickly, portions were very generous, it was tasty and the staff were not irritated or impatient despite it being ridiculously busy. Will definitely go back

Great quality genuine Turkish food, great friendly service on the cafe side. Totally recommend some classic like lentil-soup or poaca, less so the menimen.

The food can be delicious, but it's very over priced. Surprisingly for a Turkish restaurant, mains don't even come with bread or rice, so you end up having to pay even more...

Excellent location, good amount of choice from the menu. Reasonable prices, and good quality food. Service could be better though, that's the only gripe.

Nice restaurant but a little on the expansive side however the views are wonderful so worth the extra price tag.. just wish the food matched the rest of the experience!

Really nice food, great service, Bar is nice as well, I am here nearly every other Friday after work, Reasonable prices. highly recommended.

It is very nice place and it has a great location near Canary Wharf station. Prices are lower than coffee shops in the area.

Simply the best Turkish cafe/restaurant/bar in London. Feels incredibly cosy and you feel the Turkish hospitality as soon as you enter.

Went there for a coffee with a couple of friends, it was really cozy and welcoming the staff was also very polity, coffee/tea/chocolate tasted great, hopefully will visit again to taste the food as well.

Good food, nice service; prices are higher than I would expect. But still a nice place to have a dinner.

The food is ok. I found it a little over priced for what they are actually serving up.

Was taken here as a surprise for my birthday and for my first visit to an authentic Turkish restaurant it was absolutely flawless.
Tried so many new things and haven't stopped talking about it since.

Love the food. But more than that love the ambience and the waterside location of the cafe. Best baklava I've had in London
D. B.
Inexpensive, simple food, but a bit bland. I made the mistake of ordering the moussaka: it was the least authentic I ever tried, including the ones I made the cooking.

Nice place to have a dinner.

Good cafe , nice food but very small portions for take away meze. Much smaller than when you eat inside ....(

Always good, great food well priced in the cafe. Will be trying out the restaurant part next week.

Not that authentic, over priced. May be a decent eat for the Wharf as there aren't many other options as such around the area unless you jump on the jubilee line and head straight to Edgeware Road area!

Food is tasty, however portions are too small and overpriced.

Very good tea and kanufa!!
Service is dead slow.
S. A.
Service was good but the quality of food did not meet our expectation especially for the price we paid.

Nice place, nice staff, they know to do great pictures and not just that!

This is probably the only restaurant near Canary Wharf that offers great food and great service for a reasonable price. Extensive menu adapts to both quick weekday lunch and full evening meal.

Chilled relaxing cafe with quirky assorted chairs. Always amazing service and the hummous is to die for. There's also a restaurant attached (fantastic grilled meats) and a bar

Dinner is nice, but breakfast is not as authentic as I had in turkey
Turkish coffee is a plus, had to have two last time
