Usually we love this place! However, today we were disappointed. The sausages in the veggie bap had plastic casings that came off like we were eating plastic (see photo)... and the spicey sausage roll had only half a sausage in it and was so dry it was quite inedible. Hopefully we have a better experience next time, as usually it's really good!!

After reading good reviews, decided to try baps from this little cafe. Food was really good and freshly prepared. There is very little space though to sit and eat your food. But you can always order takeout. Its next to Greenwich park gate. This time we ordered veg sausage & avocado bap and classic sausage bap. I will definitely try others as well. Recommended if you are around Greenwich park.

This is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or even for a snack. The staff are great and there are options for all diets. We took ours to go and sat nearby in the Greenwich Park herb garden. Remember napkins though! The sausage in the photo is a chorizo style spicy sausage with coleslaw and mustard.

This review is well overdue! After moving into the area last summer, my boyfriend and I googled for brunch places around Greenwich. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to changes I made with my breakfast. I would highly recommend this place for a reasonable priced breakfast (with delicious sausages!) in a cute little cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. The seating outside was lovely in the summer. Definitely a hidden gem.

Wonderful place! It’s a clean and well decorated cafe that sell their in house products. Amazing quality gourmet sausages, burgers, bacon are sold raw to take home or cooked to eat in or take away. The staff are lovely, helpful and knowledgable. You can even order their uncooked products on Deliveroo if you can make it into Greenwich to buy for that evening.

We came in here to buy sausages to cook at home and we were so impressed by the selection. The service was friendly and personal and came with lots of knowledge and suggestions and a friendly smile. We got 12 sausages which came up to just over £12- so about £1 a sausage. The quality is incredible. The sausages are really great size, packed full of amazing ingredients ans transformed everything I ate with them. The Toulouse in particular is amazing!! I will never buy supermarket sausages again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious, our favourite is certainly the Big Heap’s Bap - it is a tasty all-day breakfast in a bun. The café is dog-friendly too, which always scores extra points with us; our dog likes it so much that she thinks a walk in Greenwich Park naturally means a stop at Heap’s for breakfast!

Heaps are the best sausages around. Went there for "lunch" and had a "breakfast" which didn't disappoint. It's such a shame that you can no longer sit inside, as there is very little room outside to really sit comfortably and eat....but saying that still enjoyable

This has been my go to place for a takeaway breakfast since moving to Greenwich 2 and a half years ago. Lovely coffee and egg and veggie sausage baps. Good service too. Recently refurbished so they have more space for a greater variety of deli goods.

Went to this place while on a lunchtime walk as it always seems to be busy and we were completely blown away! Very friendly staff and beautiful sausages. Unfortunately the food looked to good to wait to take a photo but I'd highly recommend the Lucifer Hot Dog. Thoughtfully packaged for the perfect picnic in the park. Chances upon Heaps one morning when on our way to the National Maritime Museum. Great service and one of the best breakfasts we’ve had anywhere. Very reasonably priced too. Can highly recommend this restaurant and suggest you take away some of their excellent produce for home consumption! nice. Will definitely return.

The passion and experience experience of the owners had me tasting the sausages before paying for them. Based on the suggestion to use the garlic laden Toulouse sausages in a pasta dish, we did so that night and were wowed by the quality and taste. Spotted this small cafe while walking to the museum (and opposite the theatre) - they advertise gourmet sausages and burgers - you can have precooked sausages or pay a premium ( and wait) to have them cooked to order. We had precooked and they were absolutely fine. We also bought some burgers to have for next nights dinner - they shrank more than expected so definitely weren't giant by the time we ate them - but still very tasty.

First things first, this place is super clean. It has a cozy, quaint British atmosphere and the food is GOOD. The sausages are delicious and unique - some of the best (if not the best) I've ever had. I recommend the Scarborough Fair and Toulouse sausages. The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Definitely drop by, we would recommend it to anyone. Having walked from Surrey Quays and then visited the Ranger's House I was starving. Chanced upon Heals and was delighted that at 2pm I was able to have a full English breakfast. It was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. Couldn't resist bringing home some sausages. Definitely recommend.

Our server was very attentive, friendly, and patiently explained what a bap is to two Washingtonians. At first I thought £6 for a sausage, egg and bacon bap!? My first bite justified it. The sausages are out of this world, the staff are lovely and they do an ice cream coffee which I've never seen before - double shot of espresso, bit of almond milk and a scoop of ice cream. Best coffee I've ever had. I love this place and will be back next time I go to Greenwich Park.

Great sausage cafe and very quaint, went in and ordered take away and the quality is very good. Menu is heavily very sausage orientated, if your looking for other choices in the menu there's is only really bacon or burger as your other options. Seating is also limited but it's literally two minutes from the park and cheaper if you order take away (and picnic on the park).

A lovely place to grab an English breakfast, of which there is a vegetarian option. Their take on the breakfast was a bit quirky, but I have no complaints. The coffee was nice too. We didn't need to worry about seating and came in the middle of the day.

I visited Heaps Sausages on a Sunday afternoon for a quick lunch as we were in the area, although it’s a bit pricey well worth the visit, I had the Heaps English Pork Sausage and my Partner had the Lethal Lucifer (scotch bonnet sausage), both where served with caramelised onions in a fresh bun. The inside seating area is small but cosy, all the sausages is freshly cooked per order, they offer take away as well. Overall a lovely little place for a quick bite.

This place was a wonderful suprise. After a long day in the observatory and the sailboat i suggest to go to this place to have some tasty food. We ordered the all-day breakfast and a sausage roll. Both were made freshly and with top quality. The sausages seemed to be delivered directly from a butcher, that's as fresh as you can get. The staff was very friendly and supportive (read on) and were having a laugh with us. This is a hidden gem i can highly recommend! Don't try to order the "Black pudding gateux" before asking what it is though. We ordered it without asking for details first. We didn't liked it. They laughed. We laughed. And got a very tasty browny in exchange afterwards. Again, highly recommended.

An amazing selection and a supreme quality product. It comes from a quintessentially English family line. Martin Heaps is quite fanatical about food being a former chef. And we may want to add an accomplished one, with colorful international career which included a culinary art teaching tenure at a hospitality college in Singapore. Laura, Martin's daughter successfully launched the business in 2007. A twin project came to life in Brighton where Laura and her husband moved to raise the next generation. Martin and Laura are a great team, delivering to the market with accuracy what the market desires. There is a strong story behind the brand, there is creativity and a simple authentic service with an outstanding quality. 5 stars all around!

Heap's sausages is the BEST place for gourmet sausages! They supply the best sausages I've ever tasted. I do not say that lightly! So many unique and tasty sausages. My favourite is the Sweet Italian closely followed by Toulouse. The Christmas cognac one was superb too. I go with my boyfriend for sausage and mash, or breakfast with coffee, we alos love going in the evening for sausage and wine. Enzo is a great host and very helpful when helping you to decide which sausage to buy to take home. Our favourite cosy spot in Greenwich :) It is a small space inside but cosy and serves delicious sausages and bacon. I love the mustard too :)

i visited here recently on a Sunday afternoon. it's a small place which has a few tables to dine in and try their range of sausages and pastry's. the menu is simple and consists of burgers, breakfasts, simple mains like sausage and mash and hot dogs. the prices are around £4-7 to eat in and a bit less to take away. they also sell their sausages and meaty goods to take away raw to cook at home. The sausages are very tasty and contain around 90% meat which is very good. i tried the Lucifer sausage which contains scotch bonnet and it was delicious. worth popping in for a lunchtime snack!

Gellert the lovely, kind and welcoming young man behind the counter filled my heart with unending joy from the moment i walked through the door. The welcoming warmth of his embrace gave me an almost transcendentally religious experience, his service rivalled that of the ritz or the belagio waiter staff. he waited on my every need and fulfilled all my carnivorous porcine dreams, and brought my palate to a new and elevated status it did not hold before. i will return to my homestead full and satiated, a more wholesome person from the experience. thank-you gellert.

You sip your coffee and have a great view of the sausage counter while the espresso machine wheezes in the background and sausages and bacon are fried in the open "kitchen". In the back you can watch the sausages (separated by a disc). So you can immediately see that everything is done by hand. We were there for breakfast and - of course - had a full English breakfast with egg, beans, bacon and ... yes, sausages :-) The sausage was really delicious. Unfortunately we could not buy sausages and take them home. But if you are not a vegetarian or vegan, you will definitely feel addressed in the shop !!! (Original) Metzgerei mit Café Das Ambiente ist wirklich einzigartig. Man schlürft seinen Kaffee und hat dabei eine tolle Aussicht auf die Wursttheke während im Hintergrund die Espresso-Maschine röchelt und in der offenen "Küche" Würste und Speck gebraten wird. Im hinteren Bereich kann man beim Wursten zusehen (durch eine Scheibe getrennt). Man sieht also sofort, dass alles von Hand gemacht wird. Wir waren zum Frühstück da und hatten - natürlich - ein Full English Breakfast mit Ei, Bohnen, Speck und .... ja, Würstchen :-) Die Wurst war echt lecker. Leider konnten wir keine Würste kaufen und mit nach Hause nehmen. Aber wer nicht gerade Vegetarier oder Veganer ist, wird sich in dem Laden auf jeden Fall angesprochen fühlen!!!
