Reviews of Heddon Street Kitchen

We had an early dinner following a trip to the theatre. We ordered a starter each- chicken wings and a prawn cocktail- both delicious. For our main we went for the Beef Wellington which is served with mash at £48 per head. We opted for 2 vegetable sides also. There is no denying the beef was very good, beautifully tender but I wouldn't recommend it for that price. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant, we just didn't feel that was good value for money. We left before dessert as nothing took our fancy. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

First time visit and really had a great time. I had ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. Beef Wellington ordered as well as a starters and mains could not fault anything and would certainly visit again

Took my daughter to London for her birthday and couldn’t find anywhere for breakfast. Looked around for so long it was lunchtime. Searched on the OpenTable app and found Heddon St Kitchens. Went there for lunch loved it so much I booked for the evening no went back. Really enjoyed everything and there was a great buzz in the restaurant both times. Then to top it all Gordon walked in with his family. He had a lovely chat with my daughter but what really made her day was having her photo taken with his daughter Tilly. I loved the food especially the Chocolate Fondant. And I don’t like desserts

Popped in for some late lunch Tuna tartare and chicken wings tasted great, the mojito cocktail was bit of let down quite bland. Pork Roast was good, Beef Roast good portion size however the meat was quite tough. The deserts were very yummy.

Beef Wellington set lunch. 3 course with cocktail drink. Well located and friendly staff. Plenty of food and presentation was good. But overall average quality, pricy for the experience.
W. K.
Went here and the place was buzzing very busy. Staff very attentive. Good choice on the menu but steaks to large for me 10oz maybe something in between. They have an order of steaks by the gram 100g but minimum order is 800g. Food portions are very good . I had the chicken curry but could not find the cashews although the dish is well presented. Pork belly is great and the chocolate fondue very rich and filling. Cranachan could not taste the whiskey and needs more oats or a base to call it a cheese cake. A great dining experience and will try some other Ramsey restaurants when back in London. Our server was very accommodating. 3.5* stars but cannot do that yet on this platform.

It was an absolute great night. On arrival we were sat by the bar area and we had a taste of their famous espresso martini. The mains was delicious especially the pork belly and the cod! The service was great especially that little banter with Desiree. ✨ Thanks for the great night guys.

Wow wow wow
What a place. The table experience was one of the best meals I have had. Timing is perfect and what a selection of lovely foods check out my pictures but to be honest they don't do it justice.
The staff are polite and very attentive. Varied cultures and beautiful accents makentje experience something really special. Gordon has great taste in his food choices and staff which makes all the difference. I will definitely be booking this again. At £75 pp you might think wow but what you see taste and experience is worth every penny.
See you ASAP Gordon...

Best Beef Wellington ever I am overwhelmed I always follow Gordon Ramsay and I never expect how amazing the food the ambiance the service except the meatballs for my baby its too hard but they fix it quickly. Will definitely coming back again. It's a great present for my birthday today. 100% satisfaction.
P. B.
What s brilliant experimental at the kitchen table. We were very lucky to have a place and experience the delicious food, brilliant professional service from start to finish! Will defo be back here again.
R. M.
Great food and a lovely experience. Would recommend. Staff were very nice and we very attentive. Food was delicious. All in all great place for a meal! Prices were on the higher scale but the quality of the food and service were demonstrated in the price
E. S.
Great experience! Starter of Wings however not to my taste, far too sweet. Waiter tried them and said he didn’t believe they were to Mr Ramsay’s quality and took them off the bill for us. My partner had a steak which he quoted was the best steak he had. I opted for the Poussin which was very moist and the sauce topping was amazing.
Service was top quality.
R. I.
Sunday roast lunch -have had better in my local pub, roast beef was warm. Horseradish sauce lacked any punch.
Positives, good service and Sian got me some beef at the right temperature.
Expected more from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.
T. S.
Well appointed and well located - it had an interesting menu. The food was yummy, but frankly the whole experience was key down by the service. If one is paying premium prices fora diving experience you want to be looked after. Just felt our party of 10 was constantly trying to get the attention from the staff for anything to be done and our meal progressed.
I did have the tomato soup which was delicious!
O. U.
Absolutely wonderful food, friendly staff, and quick service. With no extra charge, they even gave my brother an extra dish for his birthday! Totally recommend.
M. P.
Really enjoyed this special birthday evening out for my boyfriend (who had been hell bent on trying the beef Wellington for as long as I can remember)
The table was set nicely, the staff were really friendly and helpful.
The Wellington doesn't come in a portion for one person, which we hadn't realised (not an issue, it just increased my bill by £50 as I can't eat it due to the mushroom inside) but from my partners review it was 'opulent, decadent, rich, silky, melt-in-the-mouth' so I'd recommend that you try!
I opted for poussin which was unfortunately a touch overdone and slightly dry, which is the only reason there isn't a 5-star review.
I didn't send it back, as the staff had been great and I had eaten starters as well.
At the end of the night a waitress brought over a birthday surprise for my partner and sang, which was unexpected and really lovely!
Definitely go and try the food here, the Wellington is the star of the show.
O. O.
Food was amazing
Table service by staff was exceptional. Was happy to pay the service charge
Cannot fault a single thing about the dishes. Main was very filling, the mash side was not even needed.
Only regret is that i did not get a dessert and an extra cocktail because everything was delicious, as you'd expect.
The taste and quality of food definitely matched the price.

Beautiful restaurant, Breakfast was really good (Full English and Poached eggs)
The bacon was thick cut, Sausage was of a high quality, Tomato, Mushroom and Beans were bog standard you'd find on any breakfast.
The Poached eggs were slightly over done and not runny but golden yolk and no greying inside. The black pudding was out of this world and the butter on the toast was beautiful and creamy.
Coffee was really nice didnt taste bitter like some cheap machine coffee.
Service was fantastic with all the staff been attentive to our needs.
The General Manager? came over to say hi and asked how we were and if the food was to our liking. Hes was a friendly guy would really cared about your experience. A credit to the the Ramsay Empire!!
2 breakfasts, 2 drinks and table water came to about £40.
The inside of the restraunt was to a really high standard and the open kitchen was great to watch the chefs at work. Will definitely be back at some point or maybe check out one of Ramsay's other Restaurants.
C. P.
Meh. Nothing special. Oh wait. The best is sticky toffee pudding, everything was standard 'overpriced' with celeb name attached on it. And one thing quite wrong, the upstairs has such low ceiling, ventilation wasn't good, especially smoke from grilled dishes. Wonder how this could pass healthy and safety.

An amazing restaurant in the middle of London. Wide food and wine selection, friendly staff, unique decor and nice atmosphere. Typical Gordon Ramsay standards, excellent food and fast service.
We had several bags and we arrive, a very kind lady at the front stored it safely so we can enjoy our time without carrying and take care of 6-7 huge bags. Our server, Krisztian was really friendly and professional and what is more he is Hungarian just like us so we had a lovely chat with him. We also received 2 amazing sorbets as a gift from him. We can only recommend this place ! Thanks again to everyone and especially Krisztian !
R.
Friendly staff and absolutely wonderful food. Visiting from the states we couldn't miss the opportunity to try the beef wellington. This didn't disappoint. Being this type of restaurant and food expect to pay a little more then a typical sit down spot. Don't forget to book ahead!
V. Y.
We fancied a Sunday Roast and decided to give Gordon's place a whirl.
We had roast Pork and Beef as our mains. The beef was served with a heavenly horse raddish cream, a light and fluffy yorkie, plenty of veg and a very tasty gravy. The pork crackling was excellent and again, the dish was served with plenty of veg, an apple sauce and gravy.
Both desserts, chocolate fondant and sticky toffee pudding were light, sweet and delicious ... a diabetic dream in fact.
Definitely worth a visit (or two). We are going back to sample the Beef Wellington, which looked particularly good.
The only negative for me would be that the plates the roasts are served on could be slightly larger. Not to accommodate more food, bit simply so everything isn't piled up and the vegetables can be seen. Either that, or serve the vegetables on a seperate platter.
C. M.
Went for the Valentines set menu. Alot more filling than anticipated. Beef Wellington cooked to perfection, and the tune tartare was a particular favourite.
Good atmosphere, friendly staff.
Will return.

My husband and I went here for a date night and more importantly to try Beef Wellington as we never had this dish before. We opted for a Beef Wellington Experience with a wine pairing. At the start you receive a digestive cocktail and after a short while you get your starter platter with your wine. Absolutely delicious, every single bite and the wine paired was amazing! When the main arrived, we were ready but not as ready for the size! We had to take the half of our beef Wellington home, to save some space for the dessert. Again the wine paired with the dish was absolutely delicious. From the dessert platter we absolutely loved chocolate mousse, the best we had in a while!
Highly recommend this experience to everyone!
J. A. K.
Staff were polite but forgetful, wine by the glass overpriced, tomatoes and pepper soup tasted awful, so barely touched it but no offer of a replacement. Main was OK. Pineapple desert was nice and my husband liked the sticky toffee pudding.
Still, def not one to come back to.
M.
We had a Beef Wellington Experience gift. From the moment we walked through the door we had smiles on our faces! The staff we warm, welcoming and friendly. We had three courses and chose the wine tasting with each course as a paid extra. The food was, as you would expect from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, exception! The beef Wellington was another level. A signature dish for a very good reason. Its simply the best. The service was also exceptional with staff being attentive but not intruding. They explained everything about the food and wine as it arrived. I really can't fault the whole experience. First Class.
L. R.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant, the food was on spot. The staff was also a high point, with a special mention to Alex who was so attentive. Definitely recommend it!!

We had an awesome dinner at Heddon Street Kitchen. The food drinks and locale was great but what really stuck out was the service. Incredibly attentive and friendly staff.
Marsel, you and your colleagues are awesome!

I live in Birmingham, but every time I arrive in London I first stop at Heddon, the place is beautiful. I was impressed by the services offered by Ovvio, he always makes you feel special, he is an extraordinary boy and very polite. We enjoy every visit because of him and because of the place.

Florencia and team at Heddon Street Kitchen were outstanding and had given excellent service. Extremely friendly and most helpful.
We ordered salmon ceasar salad, soup as starter followed by Gordon's famous burger. Very fresh and delicious food. Presentation rated highly also. Recommend everything on the menu as we have visited many times.
To all the staff and chefs thanks for a fantastic meal.
S. M.
I went with a large group to the Heddon street kitchen to celebrate a party, they were very explicit with the minimum spend even if 1 person had pulled out that the spend would still have to be met.
Food:
The vegetarian offerings were considerably limited, and there was no obvious vegan option even on the separate menu. One of the 3/4 starters being bread?
I chose the Stracciatella, heritage beetroot, pine nuts, dill which was essentially a dip with some very dry waters/crackers with no flavour. The dip was nice.
For the main i chose the pasta. Which i assume was intended as "aldente" but for me personally just seemed dry/undercooked. In a very basic tomato sauce and some cheese on top that was unable to melt since the dish was luke warm.
Athmosphere:
The staff were all friendly and attentive, but the sound was very loud and it was quite difficult to hear.
Over all a nice location, ok food, good service but not really worth the price tag.
B. M.
Awesome service, fabulous. Food decent too. Lovely kids pasta and ice cream bar.
R. M.
A solid 4* review the spicy tuna tartar starter was better than the Beef Wellington in my opinion. But I would recommend this place if you like good grub and great service 👍.
N. M.
Incredible dining experience - each dish was absolutely incredible and the service was spot-on. Definitely recommend the calamari, Mac and cheese and truffle mashed potato appetizers, and the ravioli pasta main. The sticky toffee pudding is an excellent finisher. Would highly recommend!
S. R.
Me and my wife ate here for my birthday.
Service was impeccable. Food was brilliant. Steak was perfect and the chicken wings for the start were to die for.. garnished with spring onions it was honestly beautifully presented and equally as delicious.
Thankyou for the experience.
G. C.
We’ve been in the restaurant a few months ago and we tried the beef Wellington for first time. It was absolutely delicious. Now we came back to London and of course we had to visit Heddon Street. Not only the Wellington was perfect but also we were served by Andrea who made our night still better. Excellent service. Absolutely professional. We will definitely come back again
J. S.
The food was delicious, very much enjoyed it. The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff are helpful and friendly (even if it does feel a little forced). The price is a little steep though, and wouldn't pay the price again for what I had.
O.
You obviously pay for the Gordon Ramsay name....
But I have to admit it was a great experience.
Beef Wellington was delicious and the Italian Red wine was fantastic.
(Maybe music a bit too loud...)

Went for Anniversary Dinner and had their Beef Wellington. Great taste, Good portion.
They were able to follow our dietary requirements ( Halal ) as well. Very happy with the service received!
H. D.
Sunday roast was great - we loved the pork belly and the vegetables were great.
I don’t get why we had a different waiter every single time though? Two is fine but 3+ was getting ridiculous
T. Š.
We have attended a lunch after gordon ramsay’s beef welington masterclass and we were served these great dishes by friendly staff in a cozy place, I would definitely recommend this restaurant
I. N.
Arrived for the beef Wellington experience on a Saturday night. After being here about 3 years ago having a great experience, we were really looking forward to it.
The hosts were not friendly in any way, nor smiley, and although the place was quite empty, they mentioned that we have the table for an hour and a half!
Service was slow, waiter didn't detail the dishes, just put them on the table, got a bottle of room temperature sparkling water and had to ask it replaced, the wine bottle wad put on the menues and stained them and lots more...
Once we talked to the manager in charge, she admitted the issues and said that the rest of the evening will be on her responsibility and so it was, therefore the 4 stars (rather than 3).
The beef Wellington is EXCEPTIONAL and probably one of the best ones out here. Starters and desserts were also diversified and feature some of Mr. Ramsay's signature dishes like the Tuna tartar, pineapple carpaccio and the mashed potatoes with brie and truffle.
D. J.
Went for cocktail Masterclass ran by Florence. First of all the service form the moment we walked in was excellent. We were given water even before we had asked. Once the cocktail masterclass started we went upstairs to bar area. Florence was such a gem! So much alcohol knowledge and just overall such a lovely lovely person! We got to taste whiskey and then created a cocktail based on our taste and what we liked to drink. I would 1000% recommend the cocktail masterclass!
M. B.
Great lunch experience, staff do friendly and attentive. Food was 10/10.
F. D.
Unfortunately the music was to loud 🔊.
We were a group of 6 and we could not have a conversation. We were dizzy from all the yelling across the table. The meat was actually good quality but lacked some flavour.. We knew that is a restaurant in England adapted to the English palate and we can not expect the same flavours as another kind of cousine. . Overall was an experience and is a very nice space. With less volume on the speakers and more flavours would be a place to return.. But for now none of us will be thinking about returning...
C. O.
Dined in the restaurant for the first time today and was left a bit underwhelmed. The surrounding were really nice (albeit a little on the noisy side), the service was good but unfortunately my main course was disappointing. I ordered the cod in a red wine sauce. The cod was on the dry side and the sauce was very bitter. I was just glad I asked for it on the side!! On the whole I didn't feel the meal was worth what it cost.
J. D.
We had a superb time here for a pre theatre dinner. The food was superb as was the champagne.
The staff couldn't have been more friendly, and were especially good with my 5 year old daughter who they treated like royalty!
J.
The evening was simply great. With a friendly relaxed atmosphere, great service and varied menu, it was difficult to decide what we wanted. We settled on the Wellington experience and from start to finish it was a tasty, plentiful, balanced set menu. With a surprise bonus of a birthday plate which was really nice. Would highly recommend!!!
m. s.
Food it’s really good but service isn’t so good! The waiter took ages to bring the menu (over 10 mins)! If you are in the mood to wait and have nice food I’ll definitely recommend it! But if you are I a rush, it isn’t the right place for you!
M. B.
Alex was an exceptional host. He made us feel special for the entire evening. If hospitality doesn’t work for him, comedy will! He was simply brilliant. The food was excellent too, we had the beef wellington paired with a super Tuscan wine. Highly recommend. Thanks Alex!
A. M.
We ate here, although we hadn't made a reservation, we were given a table upstairs, there was hardly anyone upstairs but we were seated between a pillar and the only other occupied table. When we asked about sitting somewhere else we were told it was reserved. No one ever arrived. It was not a welcoming atmosphere. Food was OK but pretty expensive for salads.
K. G.
Got seated early so enjoyed a pre dinner cocktail. Over all the food was really good. The only thing I'd say was himself ordered ribeye steak when it came out it was very flat and nearly covered the plate. Just naturally expected a ribeye to be thick. However it was thoroughly enjoyed and not a bit was left. The child's dinner arrived and she was thrilled it was a chicken breast and real chips. I'd the Asian duck salad and it was exactly what I wanted fresh and full of flavour. We were meeting friends for a long over due catch up and we had such a relaxing night here. Would definitely recommend.

Visited Heddon street kitchen with my lady and had a great dinner. Started with Tuna tartare (Loved it, spicy/sesame oil raw tuna), shrimp cocktail (well cooked, but a little underwhelming), and mains of fish (steamed seabream, perfectly cooked but needs a little oomph) and roasted cod (brilliantly cooked and flavored, the sauce was rich and flavorful).
Drinks were good, and service was absolutely impeccable by the lovely Justina. All in all, a very good dinner and would definitely be back.
S. S.
Great food, amazing service as usual. The outdoor seat was great, we had good weather but also the heaters were up to the task. All the tables were spaced out and CoVid safe.
V. S.
We had a lunch out with colleagues and we had a great time. The service and the food is impeccable! The staff members are very friendly and professional! It was a chilly day out, however we did not feel it, as the outdoor space had heaters and also had large umbrellas to cover us from rain.
The seabream was amazing!
P. D.
Incredible food. Super food salad and oven baked cod were amazing. I had an early meal so it wasn't too busy but still had a great atmosphere. All the staff happy to be there, nice to see.
D. J.
A pleasant surprise as we had been given ‘Sunday roast’ vouchers as gift but after seeing photos of the dishes we were not feeling too excited- quite small portions. However, when the food arrived we were very happy.
Also, the staff were delightful and helpful. Beautifully designed and decorated space made the whole experience a joy.

A great restaurant.with friendly staff especially Marcel who was really patient with all our requests

Fantastic experience. Food top quality and very fresh. and the price was excellent Staff were fantastic and nothing was to much trouble. I would definitely recommend visiting this lovely restaurant just off of Regent Street.

Great reviews so not sure what happened to me. If you see my reviews, the majority are positive. The staff was great. Setting lovely. I ordered butter chicken and it was very bland. There were occasional pockets of flavor but not much. I wanted salt but there was none. The rice really only had flavor from the sultanas in the rice. No side vegetable. For the price and the reputation, I was sadly disappointed. Lovely staff, butter chicken so bland. I guess I should have had the burger.
B. L.
It's everything I expected and more! The Beef Wellington is truly an experience. The chocolate fondant was also very nice surprise along with the exclusive cocktails of the house. Alex was great and super friendly, giving us great tips the whole time. I can't recommend enough.

Tasty food and great service. Management may want to tighten the legs on the chairs. The two chairs that I not far off collapsing.

Great food, mind numbingly slow service.

Great food! Staff best in the business
Z. R.
Nice food, staff and atmosphere at a reasonable price, especially for London. The staff were very attentive whenever you looked at them they'd always come over however they forgot my partners drink twice and just served me mine. Also when I asked for the bill it took 30 minutes for them to bring over the machine in a relatively quiet restaurant
I. A.
Extraordinary, just perfect
Me and my boyfriend enjoyed to the fullest.
Thank you Chris for being an amazing server.

Excellent meal, pork belly was cooked perfectly. Chocolate fondant was cooked fresh. Quite a dark restaurant, and not all the lights were in use. Lots going on with the decor the without being busy and distracting, and a nice open kitchen.

Beef Wellington Experience - fantastic voucher, brilliant dishes that left us very satisfied. Drinks often mean you will be paying anywhere from £50-100 on top!

We went for the first time in one of Gondon Ramsay restaurants, and the whole experience was amazing. Beef Wellington was top, and the server Marcell(hopefully I spell it right :)) was very careful at our needs. Big thanks for the whole team.

Could not have been happier with the food. I tried rib-eye steak, my wife had the steamed sea bream and a friend had the lamb cutlets and they were all delicious. The seamed mussels were outstanding too.
S. H.
The food here is perfect I've never tasted a better tasting butter chicken. The service was also exceptional good the waitress was funny and described the recipes really well. The presentation of the food was really good. The whole thing was quite expensive but totally worth it I would say.

*visited pre-covid: Summer 2019*
Wow wow wow. Delicious! Second time eating at a GR restaurant. Chose this one as we didn't plan out our trip details nor make reservations. We came for lunch and did not have to wait for a table! Loved every dish that we ordered, and surprisingly, the fish and chips is probably the best I've ever had. Even though only one piece of fish, it is a HUGE one. Fried with just the right amount of batter and also tasted fresh!
We also got the rib eye steak and fillet steak. Obviously, I enjoyed the fillet steak more. Both were done to medium rare, just the way I like it. Very tender, juicy, and flavourful steaks. The only critique that I have: plating could have been a bit more impressive.
I also loved the open kitchen in this restaurant! I love watching people work in the kitchen (not as dramatic as Hell's kitchen, but a pleasant watch.)
C. P.
Great lunch with the kids. Beef Wellington was fantastic as was the Crispy Duck salad. Kids loved the ice cream bar!
T. T.
Bought the virgin media coupon for the wellington experience. The salted brisket starter was amazing.
2 hour limit on tables but didnt get served our mains until 1:45 hrs sat at the table. Waiting staff were very attentive when we first sat down, refilling water and scraping crumbs off the table, but after first course never got looked at again.
The wellington is very very rare in the middle, I know this is cooled and I shouldn't be worried about food poisoning. But the texture of the raw meat is very jelly like and gooey, made me gag. The waiter explained that they are cooked blue and the center is 47 degrees - however they never asked how we wanted it done.
Because we didn't eat all the wellington, none of the waiters wanted to clear it so we had that sat infront of us for about 30 mins knife and fork crossed before anyone noticed!
Waste of 75 quid each!!
F. A.
Booked lunch at the restaurant for 3 people on Monday.
The restaurant was busy but not packed. many were seating outside as the weather was still kind for November.
Welcoming service took us to our table inside.
I was surprised no one offered to take coats.. could do better.
Nice décor and comfy seating but smoke and fishy smell from the kitchen was on the strong side. You get used to it after a few minutes but again... Could do better.
Cocktail offering and wine quicky pushed.
We got our drinks quickly and large chicken wings and large duck salad for starter.
Both were tasty but glad we got the large portions or the size would have been tiny.
We ordered some burgers and the Wellington. The waiting time (45min) was worth it as the Wellington was a perfect dish and large for two people. Surprisingly even the humble burgers were fantastic and gave the Wellington a run for its (expensive) money.
The chocolate fondant was also worth the wait time (25min) and is recommended.
£230 for a good lunch for 3 is on the pricey side but you can skip the Wellington and have a very reasonable priced excellent food (for London).
S. Y.
Went for the beef wellington experience with my partner. The service was very friendly and attentive. The whole beef wellington experience was a great menu with excellent starters and desserts selection apart from the beef wellington, just a bit disappointed with the choice of the cocktails as neither of them were our likings. Overall, it was a good experience, definitely worth trying if you never had the wellington before.
S. P.
The chicken wings for starter were delicious, not too overpowering on the flavour and super crispy coating which was lovely. My partner's sea bream main was very tasty, although not very filling. My pasta dish looked incredible although it was sadly very bland, couldn't taste the pesto. The staff were very friendly, kindly brought out a lovely happy birthday with a little ice-cream for my partner's birthday.

A sublime experience that could only have been made better if Gordon served us himself!
Beef wellington was a dream and a chocolate fondant you could bathe in....
All of the waiters and waitresses couldn't do enough for us .. attentive without hovering.
We Will Be Back... Thankyou!

Heddon Street Kitchen has the right balance of feeling upmarket whilst still comfortable. It’s location is excellent, tucked just off busy regent street and the service was good. The food choices are simple in their construction, but very well executed. We had the chicken wings to start, sea bass and burger + fries for mains, with the sticky toffee pudding to finish and it was all good. Would definitely go back for lunch or dinner 👍🏻

Went for Sunday lunch and experience was delightful. Attentive staff, but not over bearing. Potted salt beef brisket starter was to die for and roast chicken and roast beef were very hearty portions. Shame no space left for pudding. Fantastic dining experience!

Went for a meal with my husband last night and it seriously was made a wonderful evening by Our waiter Daniel. Nothing was too much trouble , he was attentive without being intrusive. The food was beautiful served and any concerns were quickly dealt with this made our gift from our daughters even more enjoyable.
Thank you
G. L.
The place was big! There are Chrsitmas menu and Sunday roast menu :)
We took a Sunday chicken roast, salad and burger.
All the staff was very kindly, vibe was really cozy and fancy. Tasty was really good and heavy. Chicken was so big😂 anyway they offer coat check as well.
But the price was a little bit high. But was worth it!

Always wanted to dine at his restaurant and today I did it! As someone who love cooking, it's always a joy to watch his shows. We arrive at 12 pm and ordered 3 mains and 1 side. There is crowd even on a weekday but we got a seat without any reservations.
Love the food as it live up to the expectation. Steak was lovely and the red wine sauce is a must have. Fish and chips was the highlight, the best I have ever tried. A must-have dish if you have a chance to go there. Wish I have tried the Beef Wellington.
A. B.
Great food and kids eat free if with parents etc. We didn't get a high chair, but managed with our toddler. Great food choices.
Waiting time was good and ice cream bar upstairs was a great hit with all generations. Large portions. The fish and chips were amazing and can vouch for the butter chicken curry. Cocktails were lovely even the mocktails. No decaff tea or coffee, but the mint tea punched above its weight. Would recommend highly to everyone.

What a great experience! Thank you Tony and the team for hosting us for lunch yesterday afternoon. We had an absolutely fantastic time and were WOWed with the efficiency and friendliness of the team. The food was delicious - huge compliments to the chef! Thank you
J. B.
Great location for a bit of brunch. Surprisingly, it wasn’t very expensive. Quality of food and service was good.
N. B.
I loved the food here. Great flavour to the brisket starter. Superbly cooked Beef Wellington and a good old sticky toffee pudding. What else could you want?
D. B.
Love it here, great service even when its packed. Sunday roast is the best I have ever had out somewhere! Thank you to all the staff
C. S.
I always wanted to eat at one of Chef Ramsay's restaurant and I must say it was a great experience. The staff is very friendly and professional and the food is great! I was there with my wife and we ordered a 2 course meal from their "Love January" menu costing us £30 pounds for both!!! Super tasty burgers and the starters were amazing too! Would surely 100% recommend, it was as expected or even better!

Good food. Ambience. Popular so expect crowds.
A. D.
Lovely meal and service excellent. Wine overpriced but was delicious all the same. Noisy if you want to have a conversation

My wife and I had a 'Beef Wellington Experience' meal this week, bought for us as a present by our children. You get a starter platter to share, then the beef wellington main and then a dessert platter to share - plus cocktails. The platters are big - along with the main dish you get plenty to eat. Everything was top notch. The staff were great - the food arrived prompty but it felt very relaxed. I have always liked Gordon Ramsey as seen on TV - it was wonderful to discover that this restaurant lives up to his name. I recommend it.
N. P.
Came here because of a recommendation and it did not fail to live up to the expectations. All the staff were friendly and professional. The set menu was value for money and came with decent size portions.
I ordered a bread basket which came with a variety of breads and butter, the triple cooked chips - which were in fact like wedges, pasta - which was cooked to perfection and ended up with a sticky toffee pudding...this was icing on the cake and I left the restaurant extremely full...although slightly carb'd out which is my fault.

Wonderful food and service and at great value 😋🤩

We took a trip to Heddon Street as I wanted to take my wife and son somewhere nice on our trip to London. One of the attractions was the not so obscene prices and also that it had an 'ice-cream bar'. Fab, for my son.........but mostly me! We had great service from start to finish by our waiter who engaged in conversation and tended to our every need. The prices were ok as expected. Kid's eat free at certain times and we had a main and dessert, plus a total of 3 alcoholic drinks all for £100. The food was very tasty as you'd expect. If I had any recommendations for improvement I would say that the main course choice is limited and the ice-cream bar could have a bit more too it or maybe allow for a third boule. But that's just me. The ability to sprinkle on lots of different toppings will be enough for most! Enjoy!
S. J.
A good, clean restaurant with friendly staff. Table limit is usually around 2 hours, so service could be a bit quicker (if I'm being picky). A good menu with average cost per person with an alcoholic drink being around £35, maybe around £55 if you decide to choose a steak. Portion sizes are slightly disappointing but the food quality is excellent.
B. N.
Extremely expensive. But you pay for what you get. Everything was superb.
From the service, the food and drink. Lovely atmosphere 👌
Z. A.
Great atmosphere and really tasty food.
Casual restaurant in the heart of London, close to shopping, few steps from main street. Service surcharge 12,5% of the bill was well deserved as we've been cared for. We did not like coffee too much as it has had a salty aftertaste. But main thing is food, which was fantastic. Gordon's "Beef Wellington" combined with sauce and mash was absolutely awesome. We have travelled over 100 miles to visit this restaurant and it's been well worth it.
S. C.
Amazing experience! The waitress was fantastic and helped us choose the dishes according to our dietary requirements (halal). Food was great too! Will definitely be coming back here!
D.
It was okay, average quantity cut and a bit over cooked. Expected more for the price.
S. G.
Good restaurant, in a nice side street off Regent Street. Cool atmosphere, ideal for a dinner date! The food is good, and I'd say the price compares to a high end pub. I decided to pick the priciest item on the menu, the beef Wellington, and I don't regret at all! Tender and juicy meat, with a wonderful taste. Well done!
W. K.
This meal was unbelievable, the value was truly brilliant.
We dined here as a group of 4, we booked for the Kitchen Table, which has a set price of £75pp (if I recall correctly), quite pricey, though the sheer amount of food, quality and attentive service you receive is well worth it.
You're greeted with a cocktail, a choice of two, in with someone will explain all the flavours of each and let you choose.
Next are the snacks,
French onion soup (outstanding), tamarind spiced chicken wings (nice but had better) followed by spicy tuna tartar on a sort of wonton cracker (this was my favourite)
The starter platter is huge, it's shared between two, so we got two sharing platters between four of us. It's definitely enough to fill you up from the start, so I'd advise to arrive on an empty stomach. You get a good hearty portion of soy cured salmon, Truffle & Portobello flatbread and potted salt beef brisket with seeded crackers. All wonderful and would recommend them all of ordering dishes separately.
The main is, of course, Gordon Ramsay's famous Beef Wellington. Again, you get a platter to share between two people. A very large portion! It's wonderfully made, a huge amount of mushroom that surrounds the beef to create a succulent moist piece of meat, very very tender. Accompanied with a red wine jus, truffle mash potatoes and lettuce.
A absolutely refreshing palete cleanser is next, being an absolutely delicious raspberry sorbet, it was actually so nice, we asked if we could have more! The pastry chef was lovely enough to provide us with another serving of passion fruit sorbet at the very end of our meal!
The dessert was an upside down banana rum cake, again, very nice, flambéd Infront of us. It was large enough for 6+ diners, so the staff cut 4 slices and packed the rest away for us to take home.
The kitchen staff invited us into the kitchen to take a few photos with them behind the counters, it was a nice touch.
Overall, I would highly recommend booking the Kitchen Table Experience as it was a great way to try everything out as well as the superb service we received. Though do bear in mind that this experience lasts roughly 3-4 hours, though you will need all that time just to eat through the huge portions and rest!
I will definitely be back at some point!
H. K.
Great food and service. Even french fries tasted very different there.
It is a bit pricey but worth it.
K. G.
Initially the experience was good. Nice waiter, attentive to us. My first criticism was that he did not bring me what I asked for at the start. My husband ordered a gin and tonic, and we were going to share some wine with the meal. I'm not really a drinker so asked for a jug of tap water for the table. He nodded but I knew from his expression this wouldn't be happening. He came with his jug and only half filled my glass with water. I spent to rest of the evening trying to get a staff members attention, so that I could ask for a little more water. This was very frustrating.
The starter of squid and the beef Wellington main course were amazing.
But then it went wrong again. We ordered deserts but after 40 minutes they had still not arrived. We had to cancel due to our train booked for home.
The staff were apologetic saying it had been an oversight by the pastry chef.
Looking back, I think it's been a disappointing experience. These mistakes should not have been made in a Gordon Ramsay restaurant in the centre of London. I expected better.
I cat deny the food was delicious, but it looked to me that the place struggled a little when it filled up.
I would love to go back, but probably won't.

An amazing experience that was enhanced by a perfect service from Justine and an explanation throughout by Chef Brandon.
Five courses served over a period of 2 hours 45 minutes, this just flew past.
The Chefs table experience is set on a table away from everyone else and a few feet from the serving area, that said it gives you a great view over and into the kitchen.
There was no rush and plenty of time to chat. The table for four was priced at £300, that said it 'doesn't' include the service charge of 12.5% at the end of the experience.
Brandon throughout explained all the dishes and took time to answer any questions, he also offered different temperatures for the Wellington, which was appreciated and important to us. He done this without being asked.
At the end of the experience we were all invited behind to have a look in the kitchen and offered a group photo of the four of us as well as the Chefs.
Reason for 4 stars rather than 5... Nothing to do with the food as this was perfect throughout, it was the fact that where we were sitting, above us hadn't been cleaned for at least three months. (Christmas derbies remaining) and it was covered in dust. Reason I pick this up... Anyone who goes on such an experience would watch GR on TV and anyone who does is bound to have watched Kitchen Nightmares USA... How often does he go on about dirty seats etc? So a star gone for that.
As for the food, this was second to none, absolutely amazing, I have never tasted so many different flavours in an evening, everything was served perfectly. Detailed photos attached to this review. I tried things I wouldn't of dared in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it all, (other than the medium rare Wellington - I'm just a well done kinda bloke). That said and as mentioned Brandon did offer and did serve a medium well for me.
The quantity of food is insane, we were expecting less than half of what we received, we actually had enough food for six!
If you do want to treat someone to a culinary treat, this without doubt is the way about it. The experience was a 5 out of 5 and Brandon & Justine made it that extra special - Thank You Both.
A. V.
The food was fantastic, the service was amazing I wish the chairs were a bit more comfortable but that might be my old back but over all 5/5 Restaurant
B.
The food was lovely but was let down by the service. Staff were a little brusque and unfriendly which tainted the experience. A real shame as otherwise I couldn’t fault the food and the cocktails.
A. D.
Stunning beef wellington experience that seriously surpassed all expectations. Marcel was fantastic throughout our service, constantly aware of our needs and with awesome lotr tattoos to boot!
Shout out to Fiornza too who greeted us and settled the scene so well, such a great setting to start what was a fantastic night. We will definitely come again!
M. C.
Innovative and delectable. Excellent!
It was innovative and unexpected in many ways.
The menu is as limited as the coctel list... but it's good... no, excellent. We had a fantastic time and will definitely consider returning.
The ambiance is very casual, and the space is small but not cramped ( place being full).
Thank you very much!
A. B.
Tasty food and great service. Management may want to tighten the legs on the chairs. The two chairs that I not far off collapsing.
A. A.
Mid class high dining. Prices were not very expensive. Surf and turf was excellent, however, I would prefer some more surf as it didn't fill me up. A little heads up, Beef Wellington requires 45 minutes if ordering for 2 people.
W. N.
We had breakfast here which was quite tasty. The service was reasonable. The food was good (had the baked eggs) as were the drinks; had an espresso and juice. The atmosphere and general ambience of the place was quite nice and well thought out. Well, all except the front door (walk to the far end of the restaurant to get in and ignore the bit that looks like a door/entrance).
Given the positive experience, we are considering heading back for dinner.
S. P.
Went for late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, not too busy, nice little place tucked away to the side of Regents Street. Food was nice and tasty, I went for aubergine, wife had the cod which was probably the best of the lot. Daughter had kids menu pasta, pasta was chewy but otherwise all ok. Kids eat for free with any adult menu purchase so that was welcome relief when the bill came in (about £40 a head for main, dessert and a drink). Waitress wasn’t exactly warm and inviting, but hey we all have bad days. We all left feeling a bit hungry, better to get a starter as well if you have a bit of an appetite.
C. L.
Friendly staff who served with a smile on their face and eager to help. The ice cream bar was a lovely experience where you got to build your own using a range of toppings. The tamarind spiced chicken wings were delicious!
F. G.
Excellent experience, very interactive and inclusive.
Paul, was brilliant and thorough.
Didn’t manage to solve the 'soggy bottom' but our Wellington was delicious regardless.
The other restaurant staff were incredible too, a testament to Gordon Ramsay.
A. M.
The food was above average, but the service was very poor. I was made to feel like an inconvenience when chasing up the glass of wine which they'd apparently forgetton about! No apology and an attitude joined the glass when it was eventually served. Lacked that special feel you'd expect.
E. C.
Great food, great atmosphere, service was okay, seemed understaffed and felt sorry for the waiters. Even the sommelier was having to make drinks at the bar and clear tables. Would definitely go back, however for prices of food and drink I’m sure a few more members of staff could easily be afforded.
H. G.
the ceviche was tasty, the lemon sauce was too strong, but the mix has a lot of taste. the super green salad maybe need to recheck the sauce, couldn’t feel the orange, maybe more dressing could just make it wonderful.
the waiter who took me to my table wasn’t friendly, but the rest of the waiters are gorgeous.
N. S.
Having been to a few of Gordans restaurants and never being let down, I had high expectations for Heddon Street Kitchen and as lovely as the staff were and unexpected the private dining room was (there were 12 of us) that didn't make up for the experience.
There was a very long gap between starters and the main courses with the majority of the table complaining about the excessive use of salt.
With improvements to quality of food and speed of service this would be a great choice of the many restaurants in this area.
Highlights worth a mention:
Due to a last minute babysitting failure we had 2 young guests join us and the restaurant were more than accommodating.
The self service ice cream bar is a great touch!
E. T.
Gorgeous food and fabulous ambiance. Cocktails were refreshing and the wine list is extensive. Waiting staff were helpful and attentive. This restaurant is in a brilliant part of London.
H. H.
Average food and service. Not coming back.
H. H.
Excellent food at a not unreasonable price, particularly for the area of London. The beef wellington is if course the star if the show and will leave you and another person fit to burst. This is a super filling main, and experience extremely rich with its decadent red wine jus. There's only a small range of cocktails, but the staff had no qualms about going off menu to provide some classics in request. The staff were all friendly and engaged in plenty of jokes (particularly enjoyed my friendly wine ghost who magically appeared when my glass was perilously close to being empty!).
l. c.
Went there for a bday, 5 adults and 2 kids. Great service and staff was very helpful and accomodating. Food is not “high cuisine” but caters for many different tastes, incl kids, and was of good quality throughout. Nice experience overall
C. L. F.
A very very nice restaurant. I had chicken wings, pork belly and sticky toffee pudding. The wings were awesome, the pork belly nice but too fat for me - my bad - though the side dish balanced the pork quite well and the pudding. How can anyone put so much chocolat in a dish?
Recommended.

Impressive Wellington steak and great starters and sides.

I am not sure if it is the mediocrity of Gordon Ramsey or the mediocrity of English food, educate me
M. M.
The food was great of course. The service was not. We had to wait an hour for the bill. I expected top level service.
M. C.
Great food, great atmosphere and good service. We really enjoyed our time here!
G. C.
The £40 per head 1.5hr Prosecco deal could seriously be improved by incorporating the £4 bread basket to nibble on whilst you wait for your eggs or main. Food is good, but far from wow. Avoid the ice cream bar pudding option as there are no sauces, and what looks like popping candy topping is just granulated brown sugar. Come on, who does a ice cream bar without hot fudge sauce. Other than those disappointments, service was exceptional thus the improved 3 star from a dismal 2. You need to do better for premium pricing.
T. D.
We had e very good Evening with wine and Dine! The beef Wellington was really good, not one of the best one I've had.
Everyone was very kind and helpful.
Specially our south Italian waiter from sardegna... Thank you!!!!!!
We will be back!!!
C. M.
This place was fantastic for my family and I! The setting, ambiance, views, food, wine, service, and professionalism were all outstanding! We will undoubtedly return to mark another special occasion. Thank you so much for setting such a high standard of customer service.
Z.
Very nice cosy restaurant. Service was good. Prices were reasonable. Tried the beef Wellington. Minimum order was 2. Portion was big and slightly expensive for the Wellingtons. But if you bring 3-4 people and try this amazing Gordon’s creation, it will be perfect!
D. H.
Food was on point, as well as the service (our waiter, Krisztian was very helpful and friendly). Definitely gonna visit again!
J. H.
The service is excellent. Our waiter, Marcel, was first rate - couldn’t have asked for a better job.
The food is good. Not quite worth what you are expected to pay but it’s central London and you’ve got to expect that everything comes with a premium. The tuna tartare starter was fresh and well made, I’d have it again.
The evening was pretty much ruined by the music though. It’s basically annoying clubby techno-y stuff that’s played FAR too loud, continuously. It’s so loud that you can feel it in your chest and we had to shout at each other all evening just to have a conversation. Occasionally the inane techno-y nonsense was interrupted by a Xmas song, but still so loud that you can barely hear yourself think.
I’m sure Gordian Ramsay knows what he’s doing but, come one. This is a restaurant, not a nightclub, we go there to enjoy each other’s company and conversation, not a poorly curated Spotify playlist. We shouldn’t expect to leave with a headache.
N. D.
We had our staff party at the restaurant and was amazing, delicious food and great service. Beef briskets was my favourite.
D. G.
The meal was very well presented and flavoursome. However from my experience the service could have been much better. However service was poor. Pre-meal drinks that were part of a set menu were not taken to our table until after the main course. I paid for wine to accompany each course. The wine that was set to accompany the entree did not arrive until the main course when i was provided with the wine for both courses. At least 4 times I called the waiter over to try to get a soft drink for my wiife who was driving that night. The waiter appeared not to be listening to any request I made. My wife and I left the restaurant with her not having been served. The only time i had the waiter's full attention was when he came over with the bill to try and explain the 25% service charge that was added to my invoice.
The meal was nice 10 out of 10, but the experience was spoilt by very poor service. Given the cost of both food and the service charge I expected better. From my experience I would not visit the establishmrent again.
C. B.
Sunday roast was perfect. We started with calamari which was very tender and the sauce was delicious. I had the beef roast and they had the pork belly roast, they were both perfect. Finished it off with sticky toffee pudding. Would love to return
A. I. -. T.
Service was amazing. Showed up early for our reservation and they seated us, but definitely gets busy later on in the evening. A bit pricey but you pay for the name. Gordon Ramsay never disappoints with food. Would definitely visit again.
K. E.
The food was great (excellent gluten free options too!) but the service was very, very slow. We had to wave down our server for everything and I ended up having nearly an hour without anything to drink as no one would bring by more water or come to let me order another drink. They included a 15% service charge by default which normally I'd be happy to pay but felt quite frustrating given how uncomfortable the experience was. I'd probably give this place another shot but would be sure to avoid times when they're busy as it doesn't seem like that is handled particularly well.
C. R.
Great place for lunch, dinner or a bowl of chips and a few drinks.......damn fine chips too!!!
A. M.
Beef Wellington is excellent. The beef is cooked to perfection. The gravy and truffled-mashed potatoes is excellent. The confit duck leg is a bit too hard and dried though the vegetable on the side is crisp and has nice texture. The fish and chip is average though the chip is thick and fried nicely. The ambience and the service is good. The price is on a high side. If you order Beef Wellington, it is portioned for 2 people at £80.
A. M.
Tucked away neatly in London, Heddon Street Kitchen was an awesome experience! Didn’t have reservations but got seated right away on a somewhat busy Tuesday night. Service was brilliant, offered her best opinions of the menu and didn’t disappoint! Drinks were delicious and the choice of wines were fantastic. Food came out in a timely fashion and very appealing and nonetheless, utterly delicious! Gordon Ramsey must be so proud of his staff because the place was just incredible in every aspect! Whenever I’m back in London, I’ll make sure to stop by again!
F. E.
Everything just perfect. The meat was simply fantastic, and drinks and dessert are also amazing. Special mention to Alex, who was super friendly and gave us nice tips. = )
K. E.
I was very impressed with this posh restaurant. The lady that served us was very nice. I had the Butter Chicken and my partner had the burger. It was nice to go out and dine at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant.
G. F.
My wife and I had a Sunday roast here at Heddon kitchin
It was fantastic
My wife had the chicken, which she couldn't finish and I had the beef
We both really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food
Thanks

My best friend and I had our first trip to London this weekend, and by accident we found this restaurant and when we came inside the ladies helped us right away to a table without even having any reservation - the next thing that happens was, that all the waiters where so polite and open and they of course helped us with everything from starters, drinks, main and even dessert - top service without a doubt.
And for the food.. It was like tasting heaven, we simply could not stop eating - it was so delicious and I even think we made yummy sounds all the way trough the meal. And of course the waiters made sure that we had everything we needed.
The food was so good that we came again the day after to try out the Fish and Chips - and my god .. it was absolutely wonderful - all the waiters could remember us from the day before and we even got a glass of free champagne which tasted just lovely.
When we come to London again, then we will make sure to come at visit this place again, because it was the best service and food we have ever experienced.
Thanks for the amazing memories! <3

Tried the beef Wellington and was not impressed. The beef was cooked into the right spot, but was not as juicy as a really good steak (the external bread probably absorbed that away). The seasoning was light, and the sauce didn’t really add an extra flavor to it.
The salad and the smashed potato was average. So as the service.
They do have an extensive wine menu. Would probably recommend this place to the wine lover and would suggest trying other mains.
M. B.
Excellent, flexible service & convenient location - just stopped for a drink & workspace between meetings. Good, uncrowded seating area outside.
H. M.
A fantastic place to try! The service was excellent, and our server took the time to explain everything to us. Prepare to be wowed by the taste! I highly recommend it!

Amazing! Must go!
J. P. V.
Fantastic food and service. Booked through Open Table app which made it very easy. Missus and I did the Love London menu which was outstanding. Looking for another reason to come back
K.
Got taken out to Heddon Street Kitchen and I have to say, it's a lovely restaurant with great service, especially on the alcoholic drinks which are tremendous! They know their stuff! The bar tender showed us the electric bitters made from schezwan peppercorns. Loved the personal service and attention from the staff.
Dinner-wise, I have to say unfortunately very above average. Whilst nice starters with the wings and calamari and tuna tartar, they weren't fantastic, which I'd expect from a Ramsay restaurant. Same with the porterhouse steak we had. It's great for a bistro I guess - maybe I have to lower my expectations.
I would go back here for the drinks and a general good time in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the food. I feel like I'm being harsh for where this restaurant is aiming at, and maybe that is the problem. If I compared it to a Cote Brasserie for example, HSK blows it away. Compared to a Hawksmoor, the steak isn't as good.
Service and ambiance and drinks through are outstanding, and they looked after us really well, so I can't thank them enough.
R. H.
Paid £75 per head ( + drinks) to sit on the "Chef's Table"
Above our table was an industrial metal grid that was covered in cobwebs and dust. The table is in line with the external door which was kept open, so not only was it cold in the draught, the dust above was being disturbed onto us / food served
Despite being on the Chefs Table we were unable to see the food being cooked which was a disappointment, yet we were right in the middle of a hive of activity around our table from serving staff trying to get food to other tables
Despite this service was quite slow when ordering additional drinks and i expected a pint of beer when ordering from the Draught menu , not an unmarked glass with bearly half that amount and not having to catch the waiters attention for another drink (when it had been empty for some time) and basics like salt and pepper that were missing from the table
Our coats were piled up on a spare chair at the table which were served over with plates ( thank goodness there were no spillages) yet we noticed later 3 girls on "reception" taking coats from guests as they arrived
Food was of a reasonable quality although some dishes were quite bland and lacked flavour
Not happy with the additional 15% service charge added to the bill ( nearly £50 !). We are in the UK , not America, and tips should be given to reward good service at the customers discretion and not simply expected by staff !

Definitely a gastronomy good experience.
Good taste and sized portions. We would like to visit some of Gordon's other restaurants.
Unfortunately there was a very loud group of younger woman's at the table next to us... 🙄

The beef Wellington is really good. 2nd only to the Savoy Grill. Heddon Street is in a bustling restaurant street. Great atmosphere but if like me you prefer it more quiet this place is a real noise den.
I didn't find the menu to be particularly unique other than the beef Wellington. For that reason, I'd be unlikely to visit again anytime soon.
R. D.
Grat staff, Chris our waiter was delightful. A simple burger and beer lunch done well. I will be booking to go back for the Wellington
Thank you
T. B.
Had a really good time! Food was amazing. The beef Wellington was as good as we hoped!

Excellent food and service. With the 2 or 3 course menu which includes a beer or glass of wine, exceptional value for the high level of food. Will surely visit again.

Brilliant service.
Food was really good and provided a lot of options for our diverse party (older, younger and adults). Thank you.
S. N.
The restaurant deserves at least 4 stars. However, I gave it a 3 as it didn’t give me any strong reason to visit it again. It is one of those which you need to visit and try but only once in a lifetime.
S. G.
Lovely location, atmosphere, the restaurant and staff!! Took my partner for his birthday dinner and I can't fault this place, the staff really looked after us. Customer service was lovely and so was the food. Not expensive, pretty cheap for a gordon ramsay restaurant!!
P. S.
Had a good brunch there, on a Sunday, food was very nice (I was extremely hungry too), the restaurant is quite cosy and welcoming.
The girls at the reception are not the most friendly people in the world, but, hey, you only interact with them for a few minutes.
W. P.
My wife and I had an absolutely awesome meal here. The restaurant itself perfectly exemplified industrial cozy. A very nice and relaxed vibe inside.
We started with the pumpkin soup and the spicy tuna tartare and they did not disappoint. The pumpkin soup flavor was developed and the tuna had a nice kick to it.
We shared the beef wellington (we had to)...it took the better part of 50 minutes but it was stated it would take that long. And, the end result was worth it - it was excellent! We had it with the Ramon Bilbao 2014, which certainly wasn't a bad combination.

Every bite was heavenly! Even the traditional dishes had a unique twist... the service from all in the restaurant was so good and thoughtful it just elevated our experience to the next level. A must have is the chocolate Wellington O!M!G! , it's made for two so enjoy it with someone special!

Food was decent (had the one for one deal) - the duck confit with pomegranate juz was pretty tasty! However the skin was not crispy which was disappointing as that’s what I look for in a duck confit. Scallop main course was good! Was disappointed that there was no bread appetizer as they did have it the previous time - would have been a great start to the meal. Desserts were alright, the caramel mousse was pretty good but the apple crumble was not as good as I would’ve expected. However the main reason for the 3 stars is that instead of charging us 12.5% for the discounted price, they somehow charged us 12.5% of the original price - I’m not sure if this is common or accepted practice? I am not unhappy about having paid it, I am just slightly ruffled at the fact that they didn’t tell us beforehand and that it seems to be quite a strange way of charging service charge. All in all an okay experience, but food was not good enough that I would’ve paid full price.

We have never been let down at any establishment run under Gordon Ramsay and this was no exception! The food was incredible, the service was perfect and the extra the staff put in even after the incredible food was fantastic. Feliks must have read the notes on my reservation and made my wife’s Birthday meal a special one. It was a perfect day already but he actually made her cry with his gesture. I know now for sure that Gordon Ramsay not only is a great chef, but he has numerous establishments that are flawless. The best food we have ever had has been twice and always in his restaurants. Thank you so much to the team at the Heddon Street Kitchen and a special extra thank you to Feliks for making a perfect day and a perfect meal so meaningful! It’s the little extras people do for you that mean the most and in my eyes he made our experience truly special. Definitely due a promotion or a pay rise if anyone above him reads this!! Amazing!

We were a big group and it was quite busy so service was slow, but the servers were friendly and attentive. The venue is lovely and the food was very tasty.
A. W.
Average at best.
All mouth and no trousers.
£40 rib eye was served cold.
No attention to detail.
Will only survive due to location and footfall, not quality of food or experience.
Very disappointing Gordon.
M. T.
Food did not disappoint especially their slow roast pork belly - crispy skin and their signature dish - Cod fillet. Their cocktail starters "Open your Appetite" are just so rightly named.
M. F.
Wagyu meatballs were outstanding. Confit duck leg was a bit too dry, but the flavor was very well composed as a dish. The butter chicken is SO much better than any I've ever had that it blew any concern about the dry duck out of the water. Sublime. Definite must try.
I. A.
Extraordinary, just perfect
Me and my boyfriend enjoyed to the fullest.
Thank you Chris for being an amazing server.

At the affordable and accessible end of Gordon Ramsay’s food empire is Heddon Street Kitchen. Conveniently located off Regent Street, it’s not too busy as you can generally get a reservation at a decent time.
The menu is fine as you would expect but really only two stand out dishes worth talking about: the famed beef Wellington and the sticky toffee bread pudding.
Both of British origin and perfected by Ramsay, it’s worth a trip to Heddon Street Kitchen just to try these two dishes. Always good for a special occasion and these two dishes absolutely lives up to the hype. Definitely don’t miss this treat in the heart of London!
E. T.
Amazing food, friendly staff, plenty of space inside. The food is expensive, which is expected. However, the food was worth it, they are pretty small portions but its a wondeful location for dates, meals, etc. The beef Wellington experience is great, although its for two people, we had a friend have it for himself and was able to finish it all. However, some people may find the portion too big for themselves and it would still cost the same for 2 people if just bought for one. The staff were very welcoming and assisting and happily answered any questions we had during our time here.
S. R.
Service was excellent, lovely setting, fish and chips great. It is not a steak house so stay away from steak. Because of steak 3 stars only.
H. F.
Beef Wellington is just out of this world!! Great service, great food, would have been disapointed if it hadn't been at the prices.

I love Gordon Ramsay hence why I've probably generous with my rating, my food was great I had the sea bream and muscles for starters however my partner who is vegetarian did not have a huge option! The tomato soup with warm not hot and did lack flavour and the pasta she had was also a very boring dish and was over powered with tomato. We had a slight issue when seated next to very loud fowl mouth customer however I asked to move and I was moved quickly. The only one other observation I found was music was to loud and little difficult to have a conversation on a table. Other than that great environment for a casual restaurant
m. m.
Very nice restaurant with good location. Service and food was very good. Out waitress Juatire was so nice. Thanks her we had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious.
D. M.
Went here as part of a VirginExperience. Service was excellent, and food was mouthwateringly good. Certainly exceeded our expectations.
C. W.
Really enjoyed the Tuna Tartare and the Beef Wellington, the other dishes were so-so. Service was great though, our waitresses were really attentive. Though overall a good restaurant, we felt that for the same price you could get better in other London restaurants.
J. K. H.
Lovely place. Food was delicious. Service was fast and friendly. A perfect way to end our night on our honeymoon.
D. P.
Huge fan of Ramsey's and definitely to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wonderful service, amazing flavours. Always worth going when in London.
L. S.
We had a group of 20. The service and food was nothing short of spectacular. Of course. I would expect nothing less since it is owned by Gordon Ramsay. Everyone raved about their meal and overall dining experience.
P. A.
Nice venue and food was good but service was bit slow and I didn't find the staff as attentive as I hoped
A.
Good, tasty food, nice staff- very friendly and helpfull. I like the way that they serve meal. the waiter was hilarious!!!he provided me with good entertainment!
L. N.
I love this place whenever I go there, I only have great experience, the food is absolutely delicious , good vibes , nice people , it’s beautiful place to chill and have your delicious food , the service is also fantastic . Try it !
P. C.
We had the beef Wellington for two and could not fault it at all, very high quality and tasted delicious. Staff was welcoming but could have been little bit more attentive for drinks. Would definitely recommend.
ע. כ.
Great food and amazing place. The beef wallington was good but the burgers were a bit dry . The chocolate dessert was the best i ever taste!
K. M.
Great restaurant on a cool street of restaurants. Nice outdoor area and lots of space inside. Much bigger than it looks from the outside. Food and service were both excellent
M. K.
I expected more from a Gordon Ramsay restaurant... I came here while on vacation and the atmosphere was great, but the food was just okay. We went for their summer menu which is discounted but was still a bit pricey for what you get. (Stellar aperol spritz though). Also, they charged me 4 quid for a tonic. 4! They didn't have the price anywhere and when I was outraged when I saw it at the bill, the waitress said this was standard... Very disappointed with my experience.

The restaurant is absolutely fantastic. Great hospitality and a very attentive service of cute and kind Lorenzo! ! ! Thank you so much, we will definitely come back? Ongo Levi Family From ...
J. D.
Had a great night here. The food was exellent and was one of the best meals I have ever had. The tastes were great and everything was perfectly cooked.
The waiters were nice. It is one of the better restaurants of gordan ramsay and is better than others in London. I can only recommend.
j. s.
Was just at Hells Kitchen in Las Vegas and decided to give this a shot too. It didn't disappoint. The food and service were amazing. Let's be honest it's about one thing and one thing only, the beef Wellington and it's crazy good. Also if you like to drink have them smoke a whisky or tequila for you. It's not cheap but it's worth it.
D. W.
Great food and service from a Gordon Ramsay group.
Went for the beef Wellington which wasn't on the menu but on as a special, very popular by the looks of things as we seemed to start a trend.
If your unsure about which wine to go for always ask and ask to try them.
Free minced pies ended the meal well :)
m. b.
Fantastic lunch in a great venue with helpful and friendly staff. Food was delicious and beautifully cooked!! (Burger was Dairy free)
E. S.
Food was good but the kitchen was slow. We had 3 courses but it was an 80 minute wait before the mains came out.
J. M.
Steak was disappointing for a Gordon Ramsay owned location but the drinks and staff made up for it. Kids eat free? That's a definite plus for those that have them.
D. M.
Service, Food and place is top world lvl. Beef Wellington was amazing. Desert delicious. For me from 1 to 10 it's 12. Good job team! You make my and my wife anniversary.
J. M.
We was lucky ,we done a walk in without booking ,And managed to give us a table upstairs ,food and service was excellent ,we did not know it was a Gordon Ramsay's restaurant ,price was reasonable too .we will most certainly go back when visiting London .
E. B.
Definitely liked it more than Union street cafe! Great atmosphere, cosy! Great offers, kids eat for free!
E. H.
My last day in london and decided to try one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants. It’s Delicious! We had salt and pepper squid and burrito as starter while waiting for beef wellington (45 min waiting time).
A. P.
Full disclosure: I'm a Gordon Ramsay fan. When my wife and I planned to stop in London as part of our honeymoon, I knew that we would have to eat at one of his restaurants. We booked the reservation seamlessly on the train from Paris. Everything about the experience was perfect. We were treated exceptionally by the Restaurant Manager, Claudio. His wine suggestions were spot on. Since we were there on a Sunday, we each ordered the Sunday Roast. My wife had the beef option and I had pork. Both meals were cooked beautifully. Definitely one of the best meals of our lives. Finally, the staff surprised us with a nice message and dessert in celebration of our honeymoon. Thank you Claudio and the team at Heddon Street Kitchen for helping to create great memories on our honeymoon.
J. L.
Had a great dinner, the Wellington is stunning, the Mussels were also delicious, I was however a little surprised to find 3 closed Mussels in what was a small starter portion , we did point this out but were met with little more than a shrug, also the attentiveness of the service left a lot to be desired, empty plates sitting around for ages, not being asked for more drinks whilst sitting there with an empty bottle, not being asked if we wanted teas/coffees or even desserts and had to ask for the bill 4 times. If it wasn't a Gordon Ramsay restaurant I would have put that down to the usual rubbish service one gets in London but bearing in mind how he presents himself on TV with such high standards, it was a little puzzling. Anyways don't miss trying that Wellington it is superb. Having read the reviews below about this digestive cocktail ? We were not offered one of those either. Also please turn the music down , it's not much fun having to almost shout across the table.
J. H.
Great experience, would definitely visit again.
O. M.
Good overall, menu good, food good, service good. Location good. A safe bet for an enjoyable meal
J. T.
excellent service, we were very relaxed and satisfied with the services of the people who work there, thank you Ovvio, a boy of 100 stars !!!very good communication, every place deserves to have an employee like him !! All the best
5 STARS FOR OVVIO !!
T. C.
Just next to picadilly you will find a place that serves good food for the value and a good selection of wine and cocktails with outside eating in a relaxed environment.
Belonging to Gordon Ramsay's we had a couple of starters to share, after we had the famous beef Wellington (I can say was better than the last one I had at Savoy Grill). We finish with desserts and we were ready to go to sleep since we were so stuffed. Staff very attentive, definitely will comeback.
K.
Terrible service on arrival, food was ok but quantity is small. Padron peppers a rip of
B. C.
Great food, mind numbingly slow service.
W. W.
Had a good meal here. We didn't go for the 3course set meal, which was a good deal. I ordered a rib eye steak 10oz (280g), which was delicious and cost £32. Having said that, I know other restaurants would give you more for your money. E.g. Hawksmoor at Air Street would give you 400g of rib eye steak for £31.50, and that is a top steak restaurant.
L. R.
Just amazing. Booked in advance the Beef Wellington experience for my boyfriends birthday and was not disappointed. Outstanding food, great customer service and a great location. I had rang up a few days before to request a special dessert and the waitress delivers a little cake with Happy Birthday written on the plate, which made my boyfriend so happy! Had an incredible time.
D. G.
Amazing food and amazing service. Ask for server Jay, he's the best they have and made the experience fantastic.
h. c.
super friendly staff. went the extra mile to make the meal special. great food
L. C.
Food was nothing special. Our waiter was excellent though. Sorry don't know his name.
J. E.
Just an amazing experience overall!
Can't say if the Wellington stuffing was a little burnt or not because it was my first time trying it and in my mind a Ramsay restaurant should set the tone, a wee bit burnt to my taste is probably how it "should be" so without better knowing I can't be anything but impressed by the food
The waitresses, service & everything was top notch though, solid 5 even though it was really effing loud inside..
M. B.
Lovely, stylish restaurant serving excellent breakfasts to set you up for the day.
D. R.
Unfortunately, quite mediocre.
As much as I wanted to love this place the food and service fell flat.
The reception was nice but our waiter was switched out relatively quickly with several waiters checking in on us hastily during a very calm lunch service.
The starters were quite nice if not a bit bland. I don't know if it's a compliment or not but the Tomato Soup tasted like home, however, at home it was made from a ready-made pack...
Main course were a Beef Burger and Tagliatelle with a Tomato Sauce. Both looked gorgeous but fell flat when it came to taste. The burger was hardly seasoned, chilli-mayo didn't fit the dish and the gherkin made the overall composition taste proprietary, which is inexcusable for a restaurant with this reputation. Overall, definitely an acceptable yet forgettable burger not worth the price.
The Tagliatelle were perfectly cooked but the sauce was unfortunately the same as our Tomato Soup, which was very surprising as it was indistinguishable from the starter we just had a little bit earlier. The only difference was a barely noticeable lack of acidity and a stronger pepper kick but other than that exactly the same texture and consistency which was absolutely puzzling as the dish lacked identity with every bite.
As desert, the highlight of our lunch, a Pineapple and Kiwi Carpaccio with a Coconut Sorbet and a Sticky Toffee Pudding.
Nothing to complain here, it was sweet and refreshing with the Carpaccio and deliciously sticky and hot with the Toffee. A wonderful treat and finish for an otherwise surprisingly underwhelming overall experience.
R. A.
Amazing experience! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal with great atmosphere and super friendly staff !
f. g.
In such places, you are always afraid, to get to the "very" talented chef, with insane imagination ... exhale, here everything is fantastically tasty, meat is meat and pudding is pudding, and cocktails are just great, Thank you!
A. M.
Absolutely delicious. Took a bit long but completely worth the wait.
M. M.
Good customer service. Varied menu. Comfortable relaxing atmosphere
L. L.
Great food, great service and a lovely interior - great way to spend a Sunday afternoon
j. p.
Ice Cream Bar is very interesting. But why the place is so smoky! The kitchen fume somehow got inside and you will have to remember Gordon for days after!
A. N.
The chocolate fondant was perfect. The Apple jus with pork belly was excellent. The roast itself was very good but not outstanding, the nut roast my friend chose was surprisingly enjoyable
S. W.
Over priced on the steaks had ribeye tasted nice but really really fatty and for £40 I expect to get some meat on it. We also had the burgers ask them to be well done and they came rare and the service was slow
J. M.
Fantastic value and lovely service. We spotted the have one on us menu and were not disappointed. Go!
A. O.
Salmon and sweetcorn fritters were delicious
r. l.
Good restaurant from the Gordon Ramsey group, can be a bit better
h. e.
Lovely decor, our party loved the food. London prices are the main thing to stop me from coming again unfortunately 😪.
N. M.
Great food! Staff best in the business
a. m.
Had great Fish and Chips here. And the sticky toffee pudding is to die for. That was 2 years ago. I visited again last week, the burger I had was lovely but unfortunately I didn't try a dessert or a coffee because the waiter took my plate after finishing my meal and never returned. I waited over 10 mins to be asked if I would like coffee and desert but nobody came. In the end I collared someone ,asked for the bill and went. They lost about £14 there. It seems to me there are plenty of offers if you dine with someone else like they were doing when I visited but unfortunately if you are a lone diner you get treated second class. I stopped going to Strada because the same happened and got so sick of being just left,or as happened once I got sat next to the toilet door when there was hardly anyone else in the place at Jamie's Italian I stopped going there also. Like I said the food you cannot fault it's wonderful but go as a couple not alone!
G. M.
Really impressed with the food and atmosphere in the restaurant. I am on a gluten free diet and had a special menu with a lot of choices. I chose a pasta dish and it was excellent. My friends chose fish dishes and an incredibly large burger and were equally impressed. Desserts were also delicious. Waiting staff were friendly and very very efficient. I would recommend this restaurant and will be back.
H. S.
Amazing place Jay our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable to meet our specific needs. The food was fantastic and we will definitely return. Our friends birthday - He was made a real fuss of xx
L. S.
Superb dinner, as a diabetic the waiter was extra special..
P. D.
Amazing Place.
Amazing Food.
Amazing Location.
Amazing Staff.
Amazing Prices.
An Amazing Place Should definitely go.
L. R.
Went there to experience one of the legendary gordon ramsay restaurants and it was a blast.
The food is very delicious. Combined with very friendly staff.
D. K.
Very good food. We were situated upstairs but when a sewage lorry decided to rock up outside for some problem in the street, there was a little uncomfortable smell. The staff promptly moved us downstairs away from the offending smell. This didn't ruin our evening, in fact it enhanced it as we got to meet Gordon himself.
S.
Pre Theatre menu available great buzzing ambience you can see the chef preparing.......great location....food on point....
E. W.
Was nice, not sure it's anything amazing but a nice fish and chips for lunch
A. &. D.
One of the best restaurants to dine in London. By Gordon Ramsay. A must eat dish- the famous beef Wellington
T. R.
It was ok, won’t rush back. Service not what I would have expected for this restaurant, polite but not attentive at all.
E. L.
Wow!
Amazing experience at a restaurant of one of the best chefs in the world!
The Beef Wellington is a must, and the starter are wonderful!
J. M.
Good, friendly service, excellent value... Great food
K. K.
Welly was fab
But the price is questionable..
I don't understand how I got charged for 4 wellingtons when I ordered 2
1 welly = £48
L. J.
Great experience.. Good food, very good quality. Nice service
D. D.
Great dinner at Heddon Street Kitchen with family - food was excellent and service quick and attentive
D. J.
Excellent food but service let it down when our family dined here.
J. L. (.
The moment was set for majestic grand ball. After a wait, the moment arrived when beef wellington waltzed towards me as I was hypnotized by the aroma. A dance of the flesh and gravy with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. A glass of the liquid Bordeaux silk to compliment, it was a timeless work of art. As quickly as it came, the bell struck 12 and it all disappeared. The tap water was OK.
S. K.
Good food with Beautiful ambiance. My favourite dish is beef Wellington
P. M.
Very good 1st time in a Gordon Ramsey restaurant and wasn't disappointed next time definitely going for the Beef Wellington 😀
L. I.
Cozy restaurant in the heart of London! The food was great as well as the service. Strongly recommended!
Y. Y.
Excellent food and service. It was a great experience. Highly recommend it.
K. B.
Turkey roast dinner could be better. Too dry. I didn't like the sweet thing with the roast. Otherwise everything was very good.
P. B.
Stopped for coffee and stayed until the afternoon. Great food and drinks and superb location to spend time with friends discussing the world.
A. C.
Great food, had a Sunday roast and it was cooked perfectly, good service
A. K.
Top class, would definitely recommend.... Get the chocolate fondant! Random point as well, but the background music was great, tempted to ask for the playlist
T. V.
Amazing food and great service. We will definitely come back
H. R.
Outstanding flat white at this great restaurant. The porridge with apple compote was out of this world and different enough to be interesting. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely reccomend this classic venue.
M. A.
Good service but not all the food was up to the usual standard, I have visited many other locations with far superior cuisine and pricing.
S. M.
Interesting takes on traditional dishes like Beef Wellington, Burgers, Fish & Chips, Bream, etc... It's all very well done and definitely worth the visit.
Service may not be up to the standard you're expecting, as I was definitely feeling put off by the waiter. Maybe better if you're not a single person?
£30-50/person for food. Drinks extra
D. R.
It was amazing! Friendly staff, excellent food, always with a smile! Don't miss!!!!
R. K.
Great restaurant. I’ve had a wonderful evening.
M. G.
Tasty.
W. A. H.
Delicious dish. Not so good in services. Great location in the middle of shoppong avenue.
N. R.
Really good food with fantastic range of dishes, great atmosphere and superb staff! Cocktails not half bad either! A little pricey for what it is but would definitely return. Disappointed not to see Gordon here though on his London tour 😒
R. T.
The food was excellent. Wine was great. Service was on point.
M.
Had the most incredible kitchen table experience at this restaurant today, everyone was absolutely brilliant, from the servers to the chef coming out to see how we enjoyed our food, super friendly and very accommodating to allergies, couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. Thank you!
F.
Great wine list. Shame about the food. Far better options in the area.
A. C.
Ovvio a very welcoming guy eager to help us to feel gorgeous.Conveys a positive energy that helps you feel most than welcome
P. R.
Teasty food, cozy ambiance and friendly staff. Everything on place, very profesional., definitly cover my expectations
J. H.
Excellent again! Thanks to Marsel for his attentiveness ✅
E. H.
I love this place! You have to try the beef wellington.. It's a must in London! Tip: if you're going to one of Ramsay's restaurants, try red meats (kind of the specialty, everything else it's just ok). Today's promotion was all about the HSK burger.. OMG so yummy! Moreover, if something is wrong with your order just tell the captain and someone will help you. Excellent service!
B. M.
One of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Menu has a good selection of food, drinks and cocktails. I opted for the caesar salad with chicken it was delicious. Dining outside due to the Covid rules and the area is heated. Looking forward to going to The Narrow next weekend.
J. P.
Loved my meal here! It did not disappoint. Highly recommend! Can't wait to come back here on my next visit to London 😃
A. R.
Great staff! Was looked after very well by Andrej the bar man, he was very welcoming and attentive and very knowledgeable! I had an amazing time on the cocktail masterclass!
E. J.
Our favorite place to celebrate. The food is always amazing , the kitchen vibe is entertaining. The staff members are welcoming and super professional. And the Beef Wellington is to die for. :) Thank you for the excellent experience.
E.
Had a good experience here, nice staff, however the food wasn’t anything special at all, presentation was good though. Atmosphere felt like a ‘Bill’s’, not bad at all. Food needs improving but everything else is 10/10. I recommend if you want to get a couple of drinks, not really worth the food.
A.
Amazing restaurant! Just class of Gordon Ramsey's
L. D.
Very nice and helpful staff. Very good selection of foods as you can imagine from the name. 10/10 to go to if you are in that part of town!
K. J.
Very good table of 10 everyone enjoyed it steak very rare for medium everything else spot on
F. F.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Loses 2 stars for self added tips though (15% here), I'LL decide if somewhere deserves more of my money...
C. R. H.
Food was great, but slightly overpriced. You do pay for the reputation but at the same time, the taste was there and it was pretty flawless. Some more risks would have added more flavors. Took a star off because of the service that was meant to be amazing but was on the verge of harassment. Looking at the menu for 2 minutes means 3 different waiters will come to your table to try and suggest something... We felt we had to rush our way out on a 200 pounds dinner.
N. S.
We had an amazing meal! The service was fantastic - thank you to Chris for your overall service and pleasant conversation ! Fab food! Fab service! Thank you!
E. R. H.
Staff were lovely, and Heddon Street is a great little spot out of the hustle and bustle of Regent Street and Oxford Circus, and HSK has added to this with attractive planting and an outside seating area. However, it is quite expensive for what it is and I thought the duck salad was overly sweet/bit heavy on the hoisin sauce. It dis contain a good amount of duck, though, to be fair amd lots of fresh salad and veg.
G. S.
Lovely inside atmosphere was excellent staff very friendly lovely and clean inside. Busy food was excellent some dishes coming from kitchen looked amazing.
R. C.
Not worth the money charged. Sunday roast was passable...carrots divine, beef fatty, roast potatoes good but not enough gravy and cabbage is a poor man's cup out vegetable as is a giant Yorkshire. Service was acceptable but sorry Gordon I think you have better standard. Stick to Michelin star restaurants and get rid of your chain type restaurants as they do you no favours.
H. C.
Went for the Thanksgiving menu and it was cooked as well as served to perfection!
D. G.
Consistently good service and fantastic food. Highly recommended.
C. H.
What a lovely little hideaway restaurant in the heart of London. We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather on the evening we dined here so we were able to sit outside and enjoy our food and drinks. The service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive - and the service time was quick. I ordered the ceaser salad with chicken and my partner ordered the sea bream with a side of truffle mash, both dishes were presented beautifully and tasted exceptional.
My partner and I are already excited to return in the future to try more of the menu.
I would recommend this restaurant for couples, friends or even a big group of people. It was a truly enjoyable evening!
P.S - I've never been a huge fan of sticky toffee pudding, but the one at HSK was to die for!
A. S.
OK but didn't think we would be charged 5 quid for a bottle of water.
M. L.
Vibrant Gordon Ramsey resturant. Great service. Tasty food.
R. J.
Was there for my wife's birthday. Such a classy 1st class service and food. Well done...never a letdown with Chef Ramsey's Name on it..
J. M.
My girlfriend and I love this place. We had drinks and appetizers. I recommend the truffle potato wedges. We have already talked about coming back.
S. a.
Great food, we have visited this place few times and always it top quality service
S. K.
Delicious food, professional service, affordable price.
B. C.
Just came back from a lovely family lunch at Heddon St. The restaurant was really beautifully done and has a great ambience, the service is exceptional, which I really appreciated as I am getting tired of continually lazy service in other establishments.
The food was excellent, really fresh and felt like it was cooked with love.
The best starter in my view was the tuna tartare, I had the Beef wellington for my mains course, the beef inside melted like butter and the pastry cooked to perfection however I will say is the mushroom pate is very rich and could do with being less of it but that a mild criticism.
Overall we loved the whole experience and without a doubt the staff make this place.
Thank you
i. b.
Fabulous restaurant, amazing food!! Definitely worth a visit.
M. W.
Big portions and good quality
Steak was huge but too raw
R. A.
my second time here was not impressed with the servicce at all.
Just had their mushrooom truffle flat bread and it was salty guess because of the kind of cheese that was used.
But very cosy bar at the back
A. G.
Good produce, quality food, great service and fantastic location.
P. H.
Great food, great staff! A little bit disappointed about being sat so close to another couple (which happens in a lot of restaurants) espresso martini was amazing! 🤣
J. C.
All were good except the main dishes....
The cocktails were good, the starters were great, the bread was awesome, and the side mash potato was excellent.
The beef Wellington...beef was a bit overcooked on the outer rim and the mushroom paste...um..mushroom...
The restaurant atmosphere was great, but the service..so so...
K. .. F.
The food was definitely exceed our expectation , the starters are must-try
H. K.
Overpriced, mediocre food at best. Friend said steak was just so-so. Burgers had stale/dry buns. Took four attempts to get the waiter to get the table some more water. I'd say this should be blindly reviewed by Gordon Ramsey's on Kitchen Nightmares.
R. Z.
Underwhelming experience. Got soaked by a torrential rain just before coming in and nobody seemed to care. Asked the usher that sat us for a napkin, they said yes but never reappeared. Asked our server for a napkin, they said yes and brought water but no napkins. Eventually spotted the napkins on another table and had to get my own. That was a somewhat disappointing start.
The tuna tartare starter was yum and what you’d expect. The burger was underwhelming for the price and no better than what you’d get a regular burger joint. If I had to describe it I’d say it’s akin to what you’d get from roomservice at a posh hotel when ordering from the late night menu.
I wanted be blown away and unfortunately neither starter nor main did that. The cocktail I tried (“Elsa”) was horrible - watery and salty.
Luckily there was one thing that was fantastic and under normal circumstances (if I wasn’t soaked and cold and in a bad mood) would have made the whole trip worth it. The chocolate fondant. It was wow. I’d recommend to go here just for that (and probably nothing else).
Hence three stars (if it wasn’t for the fondant it would have been 1 star).
To be fair to the restaurant I did mention my disappointment in the service on arrival whistle I was paying the bill and they offered a round of free drinks. But at this point my partner was just freezing and wanting to go home. So we paid and left.

I was as moderately impressed as last time. Being a Ramsey restaurant you have very high expectations. In the end it's just nice food, no more no less. Prices are quite high fir what you get. The restaurant is quite noisy. This was my second time here. I am not sure if I am coming back.

The starter was disappointing. We had the soup and the kale salad, and ended up not eating them. The main meal was delicious (mushroom pasta) and the staff were all amazing. The website offered set menus for a Saturday, but when we arrived we were told the set menus were not available on a Saturday. For the price we paid I expected more.

Food was good, if expensive, but service was slow & some parts of meal came out later, not at all or wrong

Food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Really recommend if you’re on the lookout for a great steak

One of the best meals I've ever had. Beef wellington was excellent. 5 * service from the staff too, we were very well looked after. Couldnt ask for more! Will definately be back.

busy restaurant, food is mostly okay, nothing special. should have more veggie options. the beer selection is also pretty poor.

Great steak ans desserts. Worth a visit.

Great food, great atmosphere.
Staff were wonderful and patient considering the size of our group!
Cocktails a bit more pricey but that reflects the area in which the restaurant is based.
We had our company Christmas party here and I have to say it's the best place to book. The food is fresh, tasty and very well presented! But you would expect that considering it's Gordon Ramsay's chain!
All I can say is that it's the second year we had our Christmas party here & we have yet to be disappointed with quality of the food! There's something on the menu for everyone! So give it try, you won't be disappointed :)

Took my partner to this restaurant for his birthday at the weekend and we both said it was one of, if not the best dining experience we’ve had. The decor is great and the service is A*. We were hosted by a lovely woman named Donna who was personable and made sure we were made to feel welcome throughout the whole visit, she was a real credit to the restaurant. We both had steaks which were cooked to perfection and the cocktails were to die for. Would give 10 stars if it were possible. Will definitely be returning.

Good food, short menu, service was ok for first half of our meal, picked up when server changed. Lot of love at the table for the meatballs & steak. I had the tuna starter, which was good, but could have been spicier. Steak was great and hardly anyone could finish their desserts - happy diners overall

Nice place and a great atmosphere. Staff seemed distracted however as service was lacking during the visit. Lunch menu is also not available until noon so brunch and breakfast are the only options for anyone arriving earlier. Don't expect much in terms of cocktails as the drink that was served was terrible to say the least. The food (eggs royale) was decent although too salty. Had expected better from such a limited menu.

Beautiful food and staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly.

The staff here were very friendly and the food was fantastic! Me and my girlfriend had an amazing time here. We will be coming back!

We recently visited London and was recommended to the Heddon Street Kitchen by our concierge at the Sofitel St. James. It was a 5-10 minute walk so very convenient to the Trafalgar Sq area.
We had a fantastic experience the first night we went there. Delicious entrees and a perfect complimented bottle of wine for the wait staff. Everyone from the front desk, wait staff, bartenders, and management were cheerful, pleasant, and knowledgeable.
The night was so perfect we decided to come back the next night.
The next night was just as good if not better. Being a repeat customer they seemed to go overboard to welcome us back, which was a pleasant surprise.
One very minor issue we noticed was the ice cream bar we tried the second night... although delicious... was a little off. Mostly due to the paper cups they were using if you didn't want a cone. Paper cups just seemed strange for the restaurant.

Totally excellent. Chef's table. Treated like royalty. The best possible experience.

Great atmosphere.
Goid food and friendly staff

The interior is stylish and trendy, and the staff are friendly, and the restaurant as a whole looks nice.
The food was hit-and-miss, in my opinion.
The "fries" are not fries, but rather potatoes cut into quarters, fried, and served - they're huge and disappointing. I implore management to offer regular, thin-cut fries.
Portion sizes were pretty small - the pasta dishes were starter-sized.
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant as you can dine in equally trendy places but with better food overall.

Quality restaurant in fantastic location, an oasis. Interior feels special, both modern and slightly vintage. Good food, reasonable prices, though steak can be expensive £40 upwards. Burger is £19. Diverse menu of meat and fish; starters are innovative and delicious (beware of indulgence!). For two people, with starter and one course you'll spend upwards of £100-150+ with wine

Perfect food, atmosphere and service.
Well done Gordon!!

Lovely location and good food!!

Food was amazing. Service a bit slow but did not ruin the experience.

So wanted to really enjoy this place. There were 3 of us and we found it very hard to communicate due to the almost 'clubby' style music, just too loud. Our meal was at lunchtime, the staff were efficient, the food was fractionally better than was average. Thought the ice cream bar would have been more fun! Shame as love trying out Gordon Ramsey restaurants and usually have a fab experience.

Great spot for dinner, knowledgeable wine staff and the food was tasty!

Good! It wasn't entirely up to my expectations, but definitely good. The crème brûlée was AMAZING though.

I went with the family and the kids loved the food, nana and grandpa too. I wasn't overwhelmed by it and there were small, minor service issues with timing of the mains and starters. I would go again and try other things in the menu I feel will make me more content. I had the confit duck which I felt was bland. Steaks or pork belly would have been a better choice by the looks of the plates coming out.

Fantastic service (Vito especially attentive), delicious food and something for the whole family to enjoy. A really great experience - I'd highly recommend Heddon St Kitchen. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere and seemed very covid secure

The 3 course meal (bbq chicken wings, duck main, toffee pudding dessert) was absolutely fantastic. The food, waiting staff, ambience was worth a 5 star review but can only give 4 stars because we waited an hour between each course. Perhaps more staff are needed.
Thanks

We hade the really priceworthy menu for £15 this time! Mussles and confit-duck (asian and middleeastern style) to die for.

It was a decent experience, friendly staff. However we had to wait for over an hour for our Beef Wellington, which was good but did not give us a "wow" experience being a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and price of 45 pounds. Dessert sticky pudding and chocolate foundant was delicious.

Beef wellington & sticky toffee pudding are the perfect combo.

This place was mediocre at best. For a restaurant run by a famous chef who demands perfection, the food was pretty substandard. I ordered the butter chicken, which tasted like it came out of a box. My wife was left wondering how you possibly screw up a beet salad. The kids had spaghetti sauce so sweet it was like ketchup.
It was, however good for kids. They eat free and also get activities packs. Based on that I've given an extra star. But for taste alone, this is more of a three star review.

We went for Sunday afternoon roast. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and the location is tucked away off of Regents Street. The food was very good and just the right flavours to satisfy your comfort food carvings. I wanted to try the Beef Wellington but it takes 45 mins to prep, and the kids were not in the mood to wait for me. The only complaint was my daughter’s pasta...and I agree, it wasn’t very tasty. They have a kids menu (actually an activity box) which kept the kids entertained.

Beautiful restaurant and the food was sublime. The music was way too loud though. We were a large group and had to shout over each other, it was not particularly relaxing! The service was very slow and the waiters kept forgetting what we had asked for. Not a great experience considering its Gordon Ramsay.

Great food, amazing surroundings, good atmosphere. Best chips I've ever eaten.

Excellent service and very welcoming. The meal was incredible and really impressed with the flavours. Really glad I had the sweet it really finish off the meal on a high. Highly recommend a visit and will be back for sure. Thanks for a great evening worth every penny.

Much less impressed by Heddon Street Kitchen compared with Bread Street Kitchen. Bottle of wine ordered and took approximately 20 minutes to come. Dessert orders were forgotten. Was difficult to get the attention of staff. Food was nice but service was poor.

Being big fans of Chef Ramsay, I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. The drinks were good, the calamari delicious, and then there was the beef Wellington. I wouldn't even know where to begin describing it. It's one of the priciest items on the menu, but it was well worth it and mouth-watering. The meat was of amazing quality, and one could tell it was made perfectly by the texture and flavor of the meat, which was tender and practically melted when taking a bite. The portions were generous (at least for the items we ordered) and it was a great experience. The waiters we friendly and attentive, though I'm afraid perhaps a little out of sync, as we were asked if we needed anything by three different waiters in a span of very few minutes. Overall I'd recommend it to anyone, but be aware of the prices: quality is not cheap.

Great food, friendly staff.

What a fantastic cocktail masterclass. Our host Karolina was brilliant. Very personal experience with just my wife and I at the bar being shown in such a wonderful way how to make a great cocktail suited to our personal taste and then we were let loose behind the bar with Karolina helping us make it.
Then if that wasn't enough, we were seated at a table and served a very tasty selection of food on a sharing platter. I cannot recommend this experience enough.
Thank you Karolina for the warmth and expertise that you showed.

Service was rather slow to me especially for a private dining experience, sat down at 19:00 and left at 23:30. Had to ask waiters multiple times for menus and drinks every time we wanted a top up, not much attention paid to the table at all. Food was okay, but my high hopes were sadly let down!
S. H.
Lovely experience the staff was friendly generous and really wanted us to have a good time. The food was perfection and the atmosphere was fun and engaging. Our last night in London was definitely memorable. Thank you for making us feel special!
