Brilliant plant burgers are both super tasty and so are the chips. Slight error on our daughters burger but rectified immediately and such good service. All the staff are brilliant, welcoming and so efficient. Thanks to all of you! If we lived closer we would visit regularly!!

We had the Wellington special, this was yummy, though I have to say that it was a messy deal and the burger bun was ok, not something that stuck out. The medium-rare was definitely medium rare! 🤤 Shame but the meal left me feeling like I’ve eaten a lot of grease - onion rings and chips seem to carry too much oil in comparison to some other places I been, so had to really try to cut the grease with vinegar or ketchup. Nice restaurant in general - plenty of space and staff were ok, friendly but gave the feeling of them rushing about when there were enough staff on deck for the number of tables that were filled.

BEST ONION RINGS! I was surprised at how nice the food was here. As I said the onion rings were amazing. They were crispy, flavoursome and fresh. I had the chicken burger but asked to add cheese which was the best decision. The cheese complimented the pesto and the chips were really good. Everything was nice! Staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean. Would come back again

Quality across various honest burgers varies. This is a good one. Fries done perfectly. Not too much salt. Burgers carefully composed. Friendly waiting staff. The basement seating is not great.

Wow! I had the Market burger and it was out of this world. Eating this burger felt like watching movies in HD for the first time 😁 I don't think I can go back now. I dont eat chips/french fries except when I go to McD and dip it in McFlurries. Not a fan of chips/french fries otherwise. I like my fries cut thin a la McD. But still, I cant deny that the rosemary fries were amazing!! Went during lunch time and got a table immediately. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Indoors was pleasantly air conditioned and was a escape from the heat today. I couldn't finish my fries and asked for a to-go bag. They gave me a box and a paper bag. It was a really nice experience overall 🙂

Excellent service. Fast food, and delicious chips! Onion rings were a very generous portion size too! definitely worth coming here on a lunch break. The waiter even offered a jug of water when I mentioned I wouldn't be getting a drink. A very good service indeed. As for the burger I had, I went for quite a basic one... So I still prefer the Shake Shack burger, but maybe if I go for something more exotic next time this will be a 5 star review!

I have to say that the burgers I have experienced at Honest B are the best most juicy most tasty of anywhere else I have ever tasted in my whole life and I’m not young! What I like about this place is that it makes the experience simple and uncomplicated. That is from the design of the menu right to the decor of the place. It felt like everything was solely designed to focus on providing patrons with a great burger and nothing else. Which I I think is great. I had the fritter which was the only vegetarian burger on the menu the day I went. It came with fries seasoned with rosemary which were very nice. The burger was very good made up various vegetables bound together in a batter that reminded me of the one used to make onion bhajia. I also liked the fact that the burger was slightly mishapen and not perfectly round like you usually find at restaurants chains.

Honest burger is one of my favourite burger restaurants and this one in Borough is well worth a visit. I had a the Tribute burger, medium-well done. It was pretty decent, only criticism was the roll was a bit chewy and dry. The Rosemary chips are always great and these didn’t disappoint. I also had mine with an Honest G&T which was very refreshing with the weather over 30 degrees at the moment.

I'd say arguably the best burger I've ever had. So we went to Honest burger, unannounced, no booking. They signed us in and seated us, order process was smooth, one of my friends wanted to look at nutritional values of the burgers, the server really was attentive and give him all the details. When the food came, it was stunning, burgers done to perfection, oh my! I say you can't get any better, thanks Honest! Keep on keeping on, if you ever need a ambassador, give us a shout!

Suprised by the cocktails! Honest burger never disappoints and always has great Burgers. First time i decided to have a few cocktails there and to be honest (excuse the pun) it was not only very tasty but very well priced too! Around £7! Very rare in London bridge. As a final note - The coleslaw is a must try!

For the starters buffalo chicken wings is yum. The wings are crispy and succulent. I had ordered the honest chilli burger. It was exquisite. Not messy at all, the bun cradled well in the hand and was easy to eat and not messy at all. Pair it with rosé or Maker's Mark whiskey.

Great place to get a burger and beer. Fairly quiet when I went in today so greeted and seated very quickly. Order taken within 5 minut s of being there. Very quick and friendly staff. Went for the Market burger today which was amazing, just like every other burger I have eaten there.burgers are cooked medium unless you ask differently, the rosemary and salt chops that accompany them are great. I have never liked Rosemary flavoured chips but the ones they serve here is very fresh and crispy.I had a chicken burger and I really loved it. Great but small chain largely situated in London. All venues are usually busy and of the same quality. The borough happens to be in a busy area with many students and business goers. This particular establishment has down stairs seating, up beat music and great choice of milk shakes.

Yes, thos burgers are very honest! I had the Master burger (or something like that). It had a special cheese, which I cannot recall the name, and was nuce and pink. It was absolutely delightful. I do love a good burger but that one knocked me down. The team was great and they even didn't mind adding that extra person to the table at the last minute with that extra order, just by the time the kitchen was about to close. Great stuff.

After many debates with my boyfriend on the best burgers in London we finally came to Honest Burgers this evening and I was not disappointed. The setting is casual but it is restaurant service. I had the Borough special which came with tasty oozes raclette cheese and he had the Hangover Special which is only available during the days between Christmas and New Years Day. The rosemary chips were crispy and tasty and I enjoyed my mint tea!

Where do I start? As you walk in, the decor of the place was lovely. Simple and not too crowded. The large menu on the wall of burgers and their descriptions was well thought out and pleasant to look at. But the food. I Got a chilli burger and chips For £12 plus a side of onion rings which I thought was a little pricey at first but worth it once it arrived. The burger was well put together, no flavour too overpowering and lettuce placed on the bottom (For you simple folk out there, the lettuce stops the bread going soggy and doesn't wilt if underneath the burger). The chips were something else. A huge portion of crispy bits, and don't lie, we all know they are the best bits; and with the Rosemary seasoning? Unreal. But the onion rings. Oh my god the onion rings. The size of your face and with a slightly sweet batter, you won't find anything better. Luckily I went in when it was quiet and got to interact with the staff who were friendly to talk to and very welcoming. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. P.s. Try the homemade lemonade 😉

Honest Burgers consistently delivers. Had the plant burger, really tasty, almost indistinguishable from real meat, well-constructed and well-sauced too. If you want a reliable, delicious burger in London, Honest Burgers is the place to go! Only issue was that the restaurant was super busy and we had to wait a long time for our food, probably ~40 mins.

The Market burger is one of my favourite burgers in London. The meat is always good and seems very fresh. Price is reasonable. The brunch is not bad but definitely not worth going just for an English breakfast. The attitude of the manager explaining why they are making people wait outside despite the fact that the restaurant is 50% empty is quite terrible. But the rest of the staff is usually very friendly.

Its always a good sign to see a busy restaurant and this Honest Burger is no exception to the rule. Can never go wrong with their namesake burger, the "Honest Burger". Gluten free options available which include gluten free burger bun (not just bun-less). Even during lockdown and teir 3 restrictions they have been in high demand and made every effort to meet that while providing a safe environment for customers. Takeout and delivery only available during their 3 - refer to government guidelines.

As we happened to be in London Bridge we thought we'd take a short walk to Honest Burgers as they were advertising a "Carolina Reaper" burger, as something of an extreme "chilli-head", I'll always take the opportunity to eat super hot chillies commercially to see how much they incorporate it. The Carolina Reaper comes in the form of a black garlic chilli sauce, which was actually pretty darned nice. It didn't really register on my spice scale but my husband thought it had a real kick, it was rather tasty which was enough for me. The burgers were nicely cooked, perhaps slightly on the rare side (ordered medium rare) than what I expected but still delicious anyway. It didn't feel too overloaded with ingredients which can happen with burgers so not too messy. All in all, had a good burger, nice chips and a fresh, cold beer, would visit again if in the area craving some beef.

We stopped here for lunch before my wife's hospital appointment and were very pleased with the service and the food. The restaurant was clean and well laid out. We were seated quickly and our drinks orders were taken (complimentary water was given) I ordered a Cornish cider which was lovely and my wife had a coffee which she enjoyed. Our food order was taken and we promptly received our food. My wife had a vegetarian option and was delighted with it. The beetroot apple coleslaw thing was lovely too! To my wife's taste the chips (which were plentiful) were a little salty but I felt they were perfect! I went for the honest burger and was not disappointed. The server explained that they cook the burgers medium so they are still a little pink in the middle which is no problem for me. When it arrived I would say it was closer to medium rare (I glanced to the table to my left and their burger was certainly cooked for longer) which I was delighted with and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I would imagine it being a little under done for some. Although access with a wheelchair would be possible the restaurant doesn't really have the space for moving about with ease and the toilets are downstairs. All in all, great food and excellent service. We would recommend and go again.

I visited Honest burgers with my wife and teenage son's. Apart from trying to convince my wife to have her burger medium done, the waitress gave good service. The food was very good value for money. The burgers were amazing and all cooked to our liking. The rosemary fries were delicious. A score of 3.5 stars would probably be fairer than the 3 I've given. I was disappointed in having to pay £2.50 to have a can of coke served in the can with a straw. If they don't want to spend money on a post mix machine at least serve it in a glass! On the subject of drinks, towards the end of my meal I noticed full jugs of water just sitting on the bar. The toilets were clean, however I imagine they were the same toilets and basins that were installed over 50 years ago!

The serving was very generous and it cost only 9.5 pounds. The service was also very quick and friendly. I never thought of going to Honest Burgers for breakfast or brunch before, but now that I know how good their breakfast is I'm definitely going again!

Then we noticed big Sign says "Honest burger " Honestly? That's what we were looking for. Great quality meat melting inside your mouth , ingredients were also top and well selected. Chips are included into each burger which makes your meal cheaper than other places , but believe me , it's worthy every bits ! It's good to try also their own "Karma cola " different than regular and good too ! Place highly recommend, we will come back for sure !

I tried the vegan beyond burger because I read really good reviews about it and honestly it was pretty great! It tastes very similar to actual beef, nothing like those soy meat free burgers you get in the supermarket. This is a huge step up from that and the great thing about it, is that it's soy and gluten free and has 20g of protein. The patty is made from beetroot but I'm not sure what other ingredients there is. The smoked gouda and the burger sauce also taste very good! Best vegan attempt at a real meat tasting burger. However it's not for those vegans that don't like imitations of animal meat. Instead they have a veggie fritter that sounded very nice on the menu.

Honest burger is great. The ‘plant’ burger is so good! It honestly tastes just like meat to me and the vegan cheese they put on it just tastes like normal burger cheese. The burgers are substantial as well, with great toppings. The rosemary salted chips are addictive, and they even offer a vegan chipotle mayo for dipping now. The onion rings are very classic/traditional chip shop style - crispy and delicious but obviously not something to have if you are avoiding greasy/oily foods! I would recommend the Bermondsey Spritz cocktail if you are looking for a drink and want to try something local.

I'll be honest, no pun intended, Honest burgers are my favourite UK burger chain. First time to the Borough restaurant though, and it's up to the usual standard. We had the local special (currently with chorizo and cheese from Borough market vendors) and classic Honest burger (cheese and bacon burger basically). I'm not a fan of the less that totally cooked burger, but they're happy to oblige my tastes. Service was excellent, and the food came in less than 15 mins. Would 10/10 recommend for meat eaters (I've not tried the veggie options).

Starting here, it wasn't thin; at least a good 2cm thick and it was overflowing with juices so you will get messy hands. Anyway, who eats burgers with cutlery. Not oversized so it is easy to eat too. For the cheapest burger on the menu, it was so good; the more expensive ones must be heavenly. All burgers come with rosemary chips which are seasoned nicely; but I still prefer Five Guy's cajun chips. Staff are friendly enough and attentive. Food arrived relatively quickly. Although nothing ground breaking here, just good old customer service. Actual restaurant is nice and cozy with a neo-rustic design and you can smell the good cooking as soon as you walk in. Would go back for more burger. Highly recommend.

We stumbled on this place while at Borough. This was a great find! We had the cauliflower fritter with the Salted rosemary chips and a side of onion rings with the curry dipping sauce. Everything was great, the fritter was seasoned well and flavorful, the fries perfect and crisp and the onion rings were some of the best I’ve had. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in London.

Very nice burger place super close to Borough Market. The place is well furnished with lots of space on ground level and lower level. They offer a good selection of burgers and when I went there was also a special burger available, so I guess they offer special burgers for certain events. The burger I had was pretty tasty.

My family and I stumbled upon this branch when we were deterred by the line at Padella (which, btw, was at 9pm!). We were so pleasantly surprised - the burgers were wonderfully balanced! I had the "honest" burger, which had bacon, pickles and onion chutney along with the contents of a normal cheese burger. The burger itself was juicy and full of flavour. The brioche bun, slightly toasted, sandwiched the contents nicely and the eating process wasn't messy. I must note I don't personally like pickles but the pickled cucumber in this burger was brilliant! It was a nice comforting burger with new interesting flavours infused. Priced at £10-13, their burgers are a good alternative to expensive London meals. They also offer a "market" burger, with ingredients sourced from the most popular borough market stalls and restaurants; if you find yourself in our "unlucky" position at borough market, give them a go!

Of all the posh burger chains, I've never been that convinced by Honest Burgers. I mean, they're streets ahead of GBK, but compared to the REALLY good burger places, it always falls a bit flat. However, the staff are always very helpful, and I always leave full and in a burger coma, so it can't be that bad! I also appreciate that each branch has a local tilt, with local ingredients used and beer specials on. DOn't be put off if it looks full - there's a big basement seat area.

Today was my first visit to Honest Burgers... Short answer, yes, go there, eat a burger, do it. Go there for a quick lunch with friends or colleagues. Take a visitor there to surprise and impress. I am a visitor to London, and told a local friend that I have no faith in British cuisine. The wind up worked, they brought me to Honest Burger and redeemed (for now) the cullinary reputation of the British nation 😜 We sat in a nice and cozy cubicle that afforded some privacy, but there are more open tables available as well as tables otside when the weather is good. I liked the menu. It is short and to the point. Choose a burger, choose some sides and thats that. Perhaps it is a personal preference, but I prefer not to have pages upon pages of items to choose from. The sense of loss is just too much. I opted for a market burger, medium cooked, with chips. My fellow lunchgoers also ordered a selection of other sides like onion rings, chicken wings and coleslaw. Really good, I highly recommend. There is also a nice selection of milkshakes. I did not try one, but certainly will next time. Finally, the staff there were really friendly and engaging. To me that means they care for their people. Keep doing what you are doing dear Honest Burger, I will need you again on my next visit. 😘

The plant burger is nice and I have to say above average compared to what's on the market on the same category. But everything else is way below average. The fried potatoes that came with the burger were incredibly stale and this was on a Friday night when they were the busiest, I was definetly expecting a fresh bunch. We also order a little gem and rocket salad which was incredibly bitter to a point you can't eat (please do put less vinagrette or whatever sauce you added to the salad). All in all - its average or slightly above

Food is yummy, shame about hygiene especially in disabled loo. How much does a toilet seat cost?! Disabled people have enough to deal with without added stress of using such disgusting loo. It was so dirty and for a entry by code access only, was a joke. This hygienic faux pas should not happen in a restaurant like this.

Great experience. Friendly FOH Mgr explained the gluten free policy to my Coeliac sister who was nervous (even tho I'm also a coeliac!). Great burger, best GF bun ever and friendly waiting staff. Left a larger tip as they'd avoided us being glutened and survived the 101 coeliac Q's about cross contamination and gluten.

Honest knocks it out of the park again with this branch, featuring an exclusive special - the Deli, which includes ingredients from local favourites Brindisa (chorizo) and Kappacasein (cheese). The burgers remain some of my favourite in London, but something about the milkshakes always seems to give me stomach issues. Regardless of that, Honest are wonderful. Arrived on a Saturday at 4:30pm and we were able to be seated immediately.
