Reviews of Honey & Co.

Amazing , amazing, amazing!
I think this is my fave brunch place at the moment (food wise - not ambiance or atmosphere).
The food was amazing, every single dish (beside the fig goat cheese salad - which wasn’t bad, just won’t order again next). Anyway, totally go! Aubergine is a must! Fish was great too!
K. G.
10:30 breakfast: Food was very nice & staff friendly & attentive.
We gave up our inside table with London's covid rates so high and sat outside (🌧7°C). Staff provided fleece blankets & handwarmers. Brilliant 👏. Always have had to book a table but also felt in no way rushed.
We were there for a birthday brunch as were 2 other groups. Seems a popular choice & there was enough cake & candles for all 🎂
A.
Delicious!! Best Shakshuka I ever had in my life, and their Cheesecake is a MUST try! 🌟💫
Small, intimate venue, booking is advised
Check this venue before they close in April (what a pity, will miss it a lot)

Have been to both the deli and other restaurant Honey and Smoke prior to the pandemic. But this was my first time at honey and co and it was fabulous! We were there for breakfast and I highly recommend the big breakfast with all the mezze items. Food was incredibly plentiful with a wide variety of dishes to pick at before the mains arrive. We had the sabich, shakshuka and green shakshuka. All delicious. Be sure not to miss the cheesecake for dessert! Customer service was absolutely on point.
b.
generous portions ( if you don’t go for the sharing mezze platter and instead order the mezzes one by one, be careful because it is likely that you’ll be full before main course)Hummus and falafel were the main highlights. The lentil& carrot kofta wasn’t as tasty as I expected, it melted in my mouth which I didn’t really enjoy and similarly for the cheesecake I don’t think I’ll have it again, there was something missing. But overall, the service was excellent and I highly recommend the mezzes.
M.
I ordered the summer sharing menu along with the bbq aubergine and chicken. Everything was delicious! My only complaint would be the portions of the starters!
I would highly recommend trying the orange blossom old fashioned and the famous cheesecake! Staff were very friendly and attentive, even though they were very busy on a Friday night. Will definitely be coming back!

READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO HERE!!! A BEWARE A LOT OF THE REVIEWERS IN UK GIVE UNRELIABLE REVIEWS.
Firstly, i found this restaurant because its around my area and it received the michelin plate award. I was like wow not bad maybe i should try it since michelin gave this as a recommendation. Overall, the dinner experience was just okay in my opinion. The appetizer costed around £11 each; the main dish costed around £22 each; the dessert costed £8 each. Nevertheless, for it to be worth, i got the set menu, which consists of the appetizer, the main dish and the dessert, with the price of £39, and you can opt out the dessert to deduct the price to £34. By looking from the outside and judging the $$ sign from google, i did not expect the food to be this expensive. So let's dive into it.
Appetizer:
The appetizer consists of different small appetizer middle eastern food that allows you to try different range of the middle eastern food. Some of the appetizer are quite good and some are not. Trust me i have tried a lot of middle eastern food to know which one is good.
Main:
The main was just below okay in my opinion. This is when i know the chefs are really trying so hard to make the dish beautiful and to be creative. I got the lamb and the aubergine. I am so sorry chef but you are really trying too hard please do not try to hard because you are actually ruining the dish that was perfectly better. Adding pomegranate does not make the dish more beautiful and perfectly ruin the food chef. You are ruining the taste. Pomegranate does not fit with lamb and aubergine.
Dessert:
This is what made me turn around from getting two stars to three stars. I got the cheesecake. In my opinion, the feta cheesecake was super amazing. It is not easy to make me like dessert, and it was not easy to make feta cheesecake since i have tried a lot of scaled up restaurants who have ruined this. Nonetheless, if the chef was not trying to be over creative, i would easily give this a four stars since the cheesecake was super good. Using marjarom gives the cheesecake a bitter taste, and using blueberry gives the cheesecake a sour taste. Do not be over creative trying to mix all flavours for dessert please. A dessert is called to clean your mouth for a reason. I'd recommend changing your blueberry to the sweet blueberry and the marjarom with mint leaves so that they would blend more perfectly. I hope you hear this advice if you want to be better, but if you think you are the best well good for you.
Summary:
Overall, the overall experience was just okay. My waiter, Guilherme, has been very helpful though props to him for the lovely service. Nevertheless, the experience was too overpriced and not worth it. Furthermore, if you want to keep your status as a good restaurant, please reply to all your reviewers. You will thank me later. Nonetheless, I would only recommend people to come here for the cheesecake and nothing else, and if they hear me out fixing the cheesecake, maybe i will go back in the future. Cheers! I hope you guys listen, and i hope this review help.

• overall: we tried the summer sharing menu, starters & mains are worth a try, BUT the dessert is what will make me visit again (shout-out for the chocolate calligraphy, making my birthday extra special)
• mezze 🧆: everything was delicious, the one that really stood out was the fig & goat cheese salad & milk bun. i’m not a great fan of the red pepper falafels, the red pepper flavour is a bit overpowering
• lamb stifado 🐑: lamb itself is average, but the new potatoes when combined with whole clove roasted garlic & sauce is extremely flavourful
• musakhan chicken 🐓: again, the chicken itself is average, slightly on the drier side, but the spices of the whole dish is complements very well
• prawn tagine 🦐: very rich prawn flavoured tomato sauce but i personally don’t like bulgar wheat served on the side, perhaps better is incorporate into the dish
• feta cheesecake 🧀🎂: MVP of the night!!! smooth feta cheese & crispy kadaif base gives extra layers & texture to the dessert. the drizzle of honey & handful of berries & almonds makes it sweet & fresh at the same time
C. A. W.
The mezze starters were nice but found the mains, especially the lamb shawarma to be a tad salty. The feta cheesecake here is a must order - will come back just for this! Service felt a little rushed and the mains took quite awhile to be served after finishing our starters. Prices are definitely on the higher side for the portions served.
S. R.
Simply delicious and definitely the best Shakshuka I've had outside of Israel!
A. W.
Best hummus ever and I truly understand why so many people come here. Nice staff, fantastic food, good atmosphere! Highly recommended to anyone!
D. S.
Great Mediterranean food with lovely vegan options!
Quite pricey but the mezza were all very tasty.
M. R.
Had a birthday lunch for a family member here. The food and service were both excellent. We had the sharing menu, which gave a nice mix of starters. Would highly recommend!
D. 1.
This is a special place. We had the breakfast with everything included and it’s great to m for picking at everything and having a chat with a best friend.
S. M. P.
Amazing food and service! I had a delicious orange juice and ordered the mezze breakfast and the sabich dish. All very fresh, very well seasoned. The fig bread was a highlight! Ordering the mezze and a main dish is a lot of food, go with your comfy pants.
I. J.
We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Highly recommend the starter platter where you could try mixture of everything - btw the bread was incredible!! I had shawarma, which came with a pita bread at the bottom. The middle was fully of lamb juice but edge was crispy, great texture combo.
They have a great selection of wine too.
It’s very reasonably priced.
A. A.
Amazing...
Great service , little place but enough space.
Anything the chap recommended we took and it was outstanding ..
That salad was just art probably a desert rather than a salad so so so delicious .
Finally the feta & honey desert cheesecake thing was like a party in your mouth, fulllllllllll of flavour to the point where I’m probably going to go back later to have another one.
Highly recommended place
D. M.
Lovely little restaurant, the service was friendly and professional. The ambiance is just right, the food is great and at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend.
T. C.
Stumbled upon this place and decided to grab dinner here. The food is awesome, definitely try out the platter for one as well as the wraps. Would definitely come back to try out some of the other stuff on the menu
M. H.
The food was good, the portions were definitely enough but I’d say it’s still a bit pricey for what it is. Although the breakfast spread was delicious:)
L. H.
The food is nice. The set breakfast is a lot. Even for myself. I'm a 6 foot 2 athlete and I found it a lot. Which isn't bad to be fair. My only complaint is I had to hang about for 20 minutes after my meal and wanting to leave because their card system was down and they couldn't take payment. Made me 20 minutes late for my event after. Also the member of staff who served us was lovely but the young girl there really seemed like she didn't want to be there. The shakshuka isn't the best I have had. The egg was very rubbery and overcooked. The starters are lovely.
M. H.
Absolutely blumin lovely meze breakfast. A very nice selection of traditional middle eastern tea, coffee and food. I would highly recommend eating here. If you enjoy it alot, it's only a short walk, literally 2mins to their shop where you can buy bread, spices and more.
C. P.
Lovely food and nice unpretentious decor . We were served quickly but we were made to move our table along so the people next to us had more room. I can’t fault the humus but four small squares of bread for two was ridiculous- we were offered more bread but they charged a pound for it . The aubergine main course was delicious and a generous proportion. The service was average - food was plonked on the table and I didn’t feel like a valued customer . I would return for the quality of the food but some things need addressing .
J. A.
My new standard for middle Eastern food. Great flavours, starting with a generous selection of delicious, well thought mezzes and finishing with mains that really makes you think "wow". Love also the great cafe vibe, amazing and quick service and short but seasonal menu. My only regret was that it was so much food and so generous portions that I couldn't dip into the deserts. One for next time, for sure.
J. M.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was incredible. Every mezze dish was the best it could be. Both out mains were out of this world, especially the lamb, such amazing flavour and the meat fell apart. The cheesecake was to die for and I think k might from a food overload. 10/10, smashed it. Bloody amazing. Thank you honey and co
P. M.
One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London! It’s not vegan-friendly but is definitely vegetarian-friendly. The space is tiny and modest; however the food is SO flavorful and fresh. The presentation is delightful and the flavor pairings are unique. I tried the lunch special, which included lots of little tapas-y dishes and a main.
G. M.
Wow. Seriously great food.
Unpretentious small cost restaurant but amazing food. Amazing flavours.
We just has one of the mezze starters (Hummus) and more than enough for 2. A good short list of mains, good portions and best flavours I've come across in a long time. The waiters recommendation of their special cheescake was also a good shout. Only wish we lived closer and could go regulary. Seriously if you appreciate good food you must try this place.
V. P.
Amazing mezze starters, beautiful flavour combinations, fresh and delicious! I visited with a vegan friend and there was no issue to ensure the starters were tweaked to be vegan. That, plus the vegan choices in the mains list meant a smooth experience overall, with good service and yummy cocktails :) Definitely worth a visit, but only in small groups/pairs, as the space is small...not that it mattered once we'd started eating!
J.
We went there for a late lunch. The place is small and simple but if you love food you can't let this stop you. We ordered some lamb and some chicken. Both were stunning! Plates were very nicely set and tasted amazing.
Portions are sufficient and we left the place with full bellies. We took some deserts before leaving since they seemed quite nice and we were not disappointed.
Prices are clearly fair for London and such quality.
A. S.
Every time I go to Honey & Co it does not disappoint. The produce are so fresh, the dishes delicious (try the feta "cheesecake" , to die for!) and the service is lovely. The owners just love food and making people feel well nourished. Thank you!
I. A.
Really lovely brunch! Aubergine flatbread looked amazing, tasted great and was filling as well! Pumpkin cheesecake was great as well (although pricey at £6) Would totally come here again!
J. M.
Loved this place so much I went back twice! It's a cute, quaint, and cozy restaurant. It's walls lined of preserved jams, the owners', cookbook and homemade granola.
The staff were all incredible with a friendly demeanor, lovely warming smiles, and attentiveness.
The food was perfectly balanced in flavor, texture, and visual elements. Each dish was filled with flavor yet kept subtle as to not be overpowering. It let the natural flavors play their role, not over compensating with seasoning or salt. Loved every bite!
Get the green shakshuka. Definitely get the 'cheesecake'!
F. D.
Good service and good food! Remember to book a table before you go! My favourite dish was Chicken pastilla, which is slow-cooked chicken with dates in a filo parcel. Spiced cinnamon & squash falafel with tahini was also excellent! The coffee was surprisingly good too☕
R. F.
A spread of delicious things on dinky little plates for slightly too high a price, which may or may not sate your hunger. I’d echo other reviewers: feta cheesecake is a standout and a must-order. Honey & Co deserves to share credit with Ottolenghi for pioneering these flavours in London, but many other places have now caught up and perhaps offer somewhat better value.
l.
Popped here for a friends birthday dinner, it was highly recommend to her too. It's the sort of page that has a small menu, and does everything on the menu well: from the starters to the dessert. The starters consisted of a mix of various small dishes with items from tahini to gherkins (pickles)
For mains I ordered the lamb shoulder and I have to put it up there with the best. It was basic: just the meat on some salad. But perfect. Don't forget the cheesecake for dessert (if your not already full from the food)
Despite the menu, that it seems you have to get starters and mains so remember to go hungry. And the place is small so keep that in mind if your the type that prefers walk ins.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for Mediterranean (maybe further east that Med) type food.
L. S.
We had breakfast there today, the food was delicious, we had egg shashuka and cheese pastry both taste very good full of flavour and light. The staff was nice and very helpful we really enjoyed our breakfast, the only down side is the price as it is a little pricey.
W. K.
Busy but friendly little cafe. Had the red pepper falafel and chicken dumplings - which were both fresh and tasty, accompanying tahini was great. Dessert was the famous cheesecake - unique flavour with crispy pastry, just slightly salty to our liking. Yet to try to wide selection of beautiful looking desserts!
E.
Small, intimate restaurant serving middle eastern food. The food is made with love and the stuff is very attentive and professional. I loved the roasted aubergine with the tahini crust and the red pepper falafel as a starter. I had high hopes for the houmous but it was lacking in flavour to my surprise.
The decor of the restaurant is very minimalistic. No pictures on the walls or any other decorations. The menu is traditional with a modern and creative twist. I came here for dinner and found that it is a bit more pricey. A main is 16 pounds in average.
However if you’re a foodie and love middle eastern food I definitely recommend it. Book ahead as the seating is very limited.
M. T.
Amazing food, friendly staff! Ask for the feta and honey cheesecake, it’s REALLY good (even if you do t have any space available in our belly after all the delicious dishes you will have, it’s worth).
M.
Great lunch spot. Love their food, variety of lunch boxes and flavours. Do yourself a favour and get the white chocolate tahini babka (but go for a run after!) delicious, i have their cookbooks too.
A. O.
Lovely little restaurant a short walk from Warren Street tube station. A small but lovely selection of middle eastern dishes and also meze dishes to share. Portion size is large so go hungry! The staff were really nice. Single breakfast dish starts around £12.
G.
Went here for business lunch and to celebrate a colleagues birthday. Very cosy and charming place. Their menu is not too big and the prices are well set. Food was super delicious - definitely one of the best places to go to in the area.
F. L.
Good concept, location and nice food. I felt the staff seemed over worked trying to keep up with the customer needs. I saw other people along with ourselves waiting over 20 mins just to get the next order or an extra request delivered or pay off their bill.
They also seemed to be running out of bread. You get this lovely Olive oil and Houmous but given a few bite sized pieces of bread?! With an Arab themed restaurant surely you should not be running out of bread.
Prices are a bit sharp too but that would matter less if the service was quick and you were not left picking leftover bread crumbs to complete your meal.
A. K.
Superb food. Great variety. Finished off with the feta and honey cheesecake - unbelievably good!
Friendly staff, modest decor. A place that you’d feel comfortable at.
L. N.
We had a lovely lunch at Honey & Co. The mezze were fantastic, followed by a delicious baked feta cheesecake and Lamb Siniya. Portions were great, and so was the service. With two drinks, we spent a little over £80 for two.
N. M. v. H.
Fantastic food and service. Don't leave without trying the cheescake
t. j.
My husband and I had the summer special which is the mezze, a mains and a desert. The mezze had several delicious parts, for example the fig and goats cheese salad. We had the fish en Papillote with amazing spices and herbs and the lamb stifado which is very flavourful. Both desserts were very good but their signature feta cheesecake was exceptional. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Good value and we are looking forward to coming again.
V. F.
Best place in London for breakfast! Delightful waitress made our morning by topping up our order with more tomato salad after I told her how insanely good it was. Try the orange blossom iced tea - heaven. Lovely waiter who had just started was great too. Fantastic business, fantastic food!
R.
This was my first time here and I absolutely loved it.
The Place - A very small space packed with 2 seater tables & chairs and a couple of outdoor tables. What looked like flip chart paper as table cloths and wooden pegs holding the napkins. Looks more like a cafe but the food makes it a wonderful restaurant. When it’s full it’s quite loud but not in an annoying way. (It was completely full at 12:30 on a Thursday).
The Food - I had the Cured Mackerel with Saffron Potatoes, Harissa and Soft Boiled Egg. I’ve never tasted anything like it. It all went so perfectly together with an overall citrus taste which is my favourite.
I’ll definitely be coming back here again!
A. M.
the food is delicious and the location is small and cosy. the accousitcs are not amazing but mostly the stuff was rude when we were there. we sat down and they came asap asking if we had chosen and we said no they started rolling their eyes and it remained unpleasant during our whole dining slot
N.
this restaurant is super cute. It’s small but constantly busy - a great little find. The cuisine is Mediterranean and the compact menu is full of seasonal exciting dishes, perfect for the indecisive ones amongst us. And the drinks....? Don’t even get me started, presented beautifully and taste delicious! Be sure to reserve to avoid disappointment 📞 special shout out to the staff, amazing friendly and so accommodating 😘 Oh and their selection of sweet dishes and pastries looked Amazing but I was wayyy too full to try!
4/5 because it is a small venue xx
T. M.
Absolutely delightful and delicious. Subtle Middle Eastern influences throughout the menu. You MUST order the whipped feta, the hummus, and, if nothing else at all, the cheesecake. If on a a date, best order one cheesecake per person; sharing a single order will bring out the worst in you both.
C. B.
Loved it. Delicious food. They were slow getting our bill but that was the only issue. Everything we didn't order looked as good arriving on other tables as the lamb shawarma that we did. Desserts were excellent too. Very busy lunch place.
M. G.
One of my favourite places in London! A friendly cosy place with family atmosphere, serving delicious middle eastern dishes in very reasonable prices! Try their breakfast and brunch - you cant go with any of the available dishes! Fresh & wonderfully spiced with flavoursome drinks available to complement the dishes. Highly recommended.
X. A.
Amazing food and friendly waiter! We shared the mixed appetizers and had various lamb main dishes. Absolutely delicious!!
A. K.
Wonderful food and very reasonably priced too - the lamb main course was delicious!
N. S.
We’ve been coming here for years - both breakfast and dinner are outstanding and the team at H&C are super friendly. A must try is their feta & honey cheesecake 😋
C. v. G.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Very affordable. Acoustics are not optimal, can get quite loud when it's full.
S. G.
Healthy tasty middle eastern food in a little cafe space.
Most of the dishes looked beautiful and no doubt were very tasty.
Wish the brunch menu went into early afternoon and it was extremely noisy so perhaps a few tweaks would make it more comfortable. Randomly there weren’t many juices so adding a few (OJs etc) will easily improve the range.
M. C.
Very nice staff, excellent coffee and cake!!!
嘤.
Little cute place with amazing selections of mezzes. And a meal won't be complete without one slice of their super delicious cakes on the counter.
B. W.
Delicious food with great flavours in this small restaurant. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Try the variety of mezzes
S. J.
Great sharing brunch - enjoyed the original shakshuka and cardamom coffee. Small tiny place but good food and solid service
C. M.
Best darn place to stop in for whatever you’re in the mood for. We were there in between meals and their savoury scones (forgot the actual name of them) and Turkish Coffee & Walnut cake with Turkish coffees were a breath of fresh air in a city saturated with hipster cafes. Not hating on the hipstas - just nice to have a place with incredible food and baked goods like you’ve never seen before.
b. k.
General:
First, get your expectations straight - despite the (slightly) higher prices, this is not a fancy restaurant. This is a beautiful mix of a cafe and a deli with incredible middle-eastern food. Think of it as of an upscaled deli. If Nopi is a "special occasion experience", this is a "once-a-month treat".
Food:
Everything is tasty and loaded with tahini, which I absolutely adored. Flavours and seasonings are spot on. In terms of starters falafels and poached pears are a must, and for mains Madfunia was a very pleasant surprise - a tasty, flavorful chicken dish - I loved it.
Things to be aware of:
If this was a pretentious restaurant and if I was to nit pick, there are things that would knock it to four stars such as:
1. there is one hanger less than there are tables
2. my chicken had bits of connective tissue
3. desserts seem to be on the sweeter side
but these things don't really matter as this is 1) not overpriced, and 2) not pretentious.
Finally...
Finally, every possible shortcoming was compensated by kind staff that helped us through the menu.
F. R.
Very nice cozy restaurant, after a few attempts I managed to get a table (don't go if your haven't booked, as they rarely have tables available at peak times). Very tasty food and good price as well. The place only has one toilet. Very tender lamb and good selection of deserts from their own bakery across the street
1. O.
Superb food, loved the aubergine dish ( notes to self: ask them to go light on dried cranberries next time). Will come back. Staff was also very friendly.
N. S.
From starter to dessert, soul comforting delicious middle Eastern style food, vegetarian friendly, and warm hospitality
E. B. Y.
Lovely spot with healthy eastern food. Not ideal if you are GF and dairy free but you will find something. They do nice brunch as well. Green Shakshuka, aubergines witth tahini sauce and eggs, bureka pastry. They also have great cakes and desserts! And do not miss the cardamom coffee and the rose and cinnamon tea.
M. K.
The food is beyond amazing! The feta and honey cheesecake is the highlight of this place! Thank you for the delicious food!
J. J.
The best meal I've had in London. It's a lovely cosy little restaurant with great service and a casual, but special atmosphere. Every single dish in the set menu was delicious; so delicious that I ordered dessert even though I was far too full for it. Plus, I now have two of their cookbooks and they're incredible as well!
I. C.
This place is amazing and would go again! The chocolate sweet treats and assortment of cakes, as well as delicious and aesthetically pleasing brunch dishes.... amazing. Would really recommend the sausage roll (it was holy) and their cakes are sooooo pleasing too!
A. O.
I had all their books and wanted to try the real place, WOW great food so fresh highly recommend it
M. T.
Really nice warm food, definitely try the slow cooked lamb and the red pepper falafel.
Can’t wait to go back!
a. l.
Cool little place! We had breakfast and it was really good, especially the Bureka the was fenomenal!! Highly recommended!
I. S.
This is a really nice and cosy eatery, would definitely recommend it for the delicious food and nice service! It's however quite expensive for the size of the portions...
R. M.
A fantastic place that is fancier than you deserve! If you want the set meal it will set you back quite a bit (£30 before the mandatory-not-mandatory tip). You can still get some cheap tapas for around £8 each though. Worth a visit.
A.
We came just for the cheesecake by reputation, it is definitely one of the best I’ve had anywhere! The base is so crispy and cheesecake so smooth and balanced very well! Would recommend to any sweet-toothed
A. C.
Beautiful flavours, but still slightly pricey. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Don’t miss the iced tea!
M. W.
Had the ‘spring menu’ starting with the meze, this was a selection of about 7 dishes which were all delicious. Came with a couple of breads, which was too small a small portion for the amount of food and extra cost more. The mains we had were the chicken shish and lamb siniya. Both were very good but a bit simple and plain compared the the meze platter. The cheesecake dessert is the best dish there, it’s small but really rich and creamy so one is enough to share between two. Apart from the slightly disappointing mains would give it 5*.
S. L.
Delicious middle eastern food. Their poached quinces appetizer was to die for. Delicious lamb and amazing looking desserts as well.
N. M.
Really delicious and flavorful food
N. A.
The customer service is great, the staff are so kind, and the food is very delicious, I highly recommend the shakshuka and sabich
Y. A.
My girlfriend and I ate lunch here about a week ago and LOVED IT! Reasonably priced and incredible food. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend their twist on the cheese cake desserts too! We can't wait to return!
S. T.
Great little restaurant, would defiantly recommend the Middle Eastern style cheesecake, exceptionally tasty
C. R.
Amazing food and really friendly and helpful staff. The set menu went down a treat with the whole work team. All topped of with some amazing chocolate and cinnamon loaf.
N. A.
Gorgeous middle eastern food - for such a tiny space it really packs a punch with flavour. The dishes are all amazing. I try to visit once or twice a year.
J. T.
Food was absolutely amazing, and service was great. Highly recommended!
N. M.
Outstanding. One of the few completely vegetarian meals I’ve had where I didn’t miss meat at all. There are meat options too on the menu. Generous portions and good prices. And they had Hamentash for Purim!
A. R.
Food is good and quite original but the prices are very steep and the portions are ridiculously small! Expect to pay £13 for a one egg 'breakfast' portion. and £3.5 for a simple coffee.
We had a modest breakfast for two, without starters and with one dessert. The bill was £54. Rip off!
A. K.
Delicious food , lovely stuff ,but the location is not in a good place☺️
J. T.
Literally so good and the service was exceptional. The food was amazing—probably the best middle eastern food I’ve ever had and will ever have. When I’m back in London, no doubt I’ll come here. The space is so cute and cozy, and so accessible via the tube. Would highly recommend for any date, couples, small group, etc! Amazing place.
O. T.
Amazing healthy and colorful food! Great verity for vegan - super recommend!!!

Cosy space, cool FOH team, tasty food, (a bit too expensive in some food items).
k. f.
This atmospheric place lives up to the expectations. Highly recommend to go for sharing plates, friendly and attentive staff. Almost like being in Tel Aviv minus the sun (that's why almost ;)). Flavourful shakshukas, but the cherry on the top is feta cheesecake - to die for. Lovely place.
b. g.
I went there today. The food was very good. We have got the Falafel, overgines and Babaganush. The quality and flevours were very good. Also we ordered the Kofta, it was very good but 21 pounds for two little pieces. It was dissapointing. The attention was good. The cheescake was amazing. I wouldnt mind to come back, but wont be my first option. We have been to Honey & Smoke.
J. O.
Prices for brunch may be a bit on the pricey side for some, but the food is tasty. I mainly come back for their feta cheesecake which is a must try! It is currently one of my favourite desserts!
H. B.
Perfect lunch, best tahini. Especially loved the roasted garlic cloves with the lamb.
N. G.
Amazing middle eastern experience with the mezze plate. Comparable to the best mezze plates I ate in Morocco. Loved the flavours and the service.
O. M.
I've had a breakfast during the weekdays and it was good. Service staff was friendly and helpful. Expectedly weekend breakfast menu is different and maybe more exciting than weekdays.
C. D.
Great breakfast, great pastry selection. Friendly and helpful waiting staff, lovely space, quiet for conversation.
K. h.
Wow amazing breakfast and service
E. R.
Amazing food!! Simple yet sophisticated flavours at a good price. Last time I was there, someone at the next table said "Happy to go vegetarian if I eat here every day". This summarises how delicious the food here is. For avoidance of doubt, there are also meat dishes on the menu!
R. M.
Great middle Eastern food. Had a beautiful mezze platter shared between two that was varied, mostly veggie and massive.
S. G.
Very good Middle Eastern food served in a low key relaxed setting. Probably the best falafels in London.
S. P.
This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant in London - I have lost count of the number of times I have been. The venue is small and cosy, the staff are always friendly and helpful and the food is out of this world. My favourite menu is their evening one. Everything I have tried on has been exceptional. They also have a daily selection of baked goods which are delicious. My only very minor 'criticism' is that the venue is small so it can be a bit of a squeeze, but the staff and food make it totally worth it. Book in advance.
N. D.
The food sounded really simply when I read it on the menu. But what a flavour explosion! You couldn't ask for a better tasting plate of food. There's a really nice vibe to the place. Went in for breakfast and it definately made my day
A. K.
I think this place serves well to the saying "Ugly Delicious" as coined by David Chang. The food is delicious I definitely do recommend the Shawarma. The ratings aren't wrong. If you like a good bit of well cooked Mediterranean you can't go wrong with the delicious food, small set of cocktails and the wine menu. Service is prompt and the place is cozy.
L. H.
Fantastic middle Eastern restaurant with a really authentic family run feel and the most delicious and unusual food. The place is tiny and slightly off the beaten track, so best to book ahead, though they luckily found us a table on a Saturday night in September. A real gem!
O. P.
Brilliant food. We did tasting starters and lamb for main - it was delicious. Really buzzing atmosphere.
Only minor comment is the tables are close together and you can hear every word of the people sitting next to you.
A. D.
The food is delicious! Great and fast service. A little pricey but it's worth it.
R. H.
Food was good, service was nice. Must try the desert!!! A little overpriced
i. k.
Really good food. Been here a couple of times for breakfast, hasn't disappointed yet. Highly recommend
b. r.
Great place with real Middle Eastern food!
G. G.
We had our company's Xmas lunch at Honey and co and it was delicious! Highly recommended.
N. C.
This restaurant is absolutely delicious. Israeli chefs and mediterranean flavours. It’s tiny so It’s better to make a reservation in order to get a table. I believe they change the menu regularly. The desserts are wonderful. I recommend the cheesecake and the cherry and pistachio cake.
T. V.
You have to like food that's flavourful and uses a good amount of spices and mints. Its not toned down here. With that said, food was amazing. I ordered the sampler of all the appetizers and they were all great. I had the lentils for entree and it was a seasoned perfectly. The cheesecake though... Never had anything so light and creamy.
A. C.
I need to give this place a bad review because it’s getting really ridiculous trying to find a table but I can’t. It’s beautiful food. Having grown up with this type of cuisine, I can say, they have a really talent for it. If you are on a diet avoid the cakes and puddings, you’d want more and more.
Lovely service too.
O. M.
Absolutely superb, perfection. A taste of home (Israel) in London
J. C.
Went for lunch here and the food was good, the portion size of the main meals sufficient though it was a little on the expensive side. A lunch for two was over £50 with just a bottle of water to drink.
However I felt like I was being constantly sold to after being told multiple times to get starters or a sharing platter because the food 'would take a long time' or other pushy reasons.
Food was good but let me enjoy it in peace at those prices.
V. V.
Great brunch, and the server was really lovely and helpful
L. W.
Absolutely gorgeous food! Came here on a pals recommendation and I’m so glad we did! Managed to get a table before it got busy, so would advise booking if possible as it is a small venue. Staff are friendly too, would totally recommend! Great presentation of food and fab taste!
S. J.
The food was delicious! We went right when their menu had changed. The service was great as well. Although the location is a bit small, I very much enjoyed it. I highly recommend getting an extra pitta bread with a starter of hummus.
S. D. C.
Breakfast with a Middle-Eastern kick. Friendly welcome on a cold morning. Delicious food, great service and unpretentious decor. The cheesecake is truly deserving of its various awards and cannot be recommended highly enough. I'm not normally a coffee drinker, but the cardamom roast smelled too good to pass up and was thoroughly enjoyable. Eggs cooked to perfection.
A. S.
Let’s just say the food is of outstanding quality.
A. S.
Went for dinner with a group of 5.
The service was great and the wait staff seemed to be having a good time as well.
The food was delicious - a broad selection of flavoursome mezze and simple, but super tasty mains.
Do not miss the fresh cheesecake, it's to die for.
Q. J.
Always fancy brunch at this Middle Eastern spot. The food is simply delicious, the interior is cosy and the service always friendly. Do order the cheesecake, it’s the best thing on earth... no really, it is!
C. S.
Delightful small restaurant that feels like you're visiting family.
The food here is interesting, tasty and generous and you get what you pay for. While plates aren't cheap, they're full and delicious.
The service was attentive, and helpful, offering small samples of homemade drinks to help us making a choice. That sort of not necessary but always appreciated touch goes a long way.
Desserts were a highlight and their signature soft cheesecake is easily the most delicious cheesecake I've ever tasted - no small feat!
I will definitely visit Honey & Co again next time I'm in London.
W. H.
Just fabulous.
They open early in the morning, so perfect for buying something delicious on your way to work, or to sit down to have breakfast. The sharing breakfast is incredible.
The all day menu is seasonal and they're open until late (10:30 Monday to Friday)
Everything is delicious and the service is brilliant.
Very highly recommended.
M. C.
Just go! Amazing flavors and service.
G. L.
Small and cozy great breakfast with spacial, very tasty dishes
D. K.
Popped in by chance for breakfast and seriously impressed. Probably one of the best places in town. The plates to share is a must-try. All the starters were tasty. Mains were solid. Their signature cheese cake and the Turkish cardamom coffee are highly recommended.
R. L.
You will not be disappointed by the quality of food. Not on the cheap side, but the portion sizes were great. It's a really lovely date spot if you're looking for somewhere different. Make sure you make a reservation because walking in might see you unable to get a table. It's super busy. If you want, I'd recommend getting the Labaneh. It's spectacular. Your mouth and stomach will thank you!
C. L.
I'm in love with the food here, also their cook book is worth getting, you can get a signed copy in the restaurant
M. B.
Stunning food and excellent coffee. I was pregnant at the time so also had a decaf which was possibly the best I've ever had! Pricey but worth it. Would totally recommend the big breakfast to share also!
N. N.
Me and my partner haven't had such a good meal in a long time. Service was friendly, helpful without being to much. Great relaxed atmosphere where you get real food!!! We are already planing to come back soon. Thank you so much!
F. C.
Had an amazing meal here for my graduation. Went as a party of five and had the mezze (don’t panic that as a big party you’re going to be short changed- there was A LOT) followed by several of the main dishes, all of which were delicious. If you’re able then you should definitely make space for their famous cheesecake which is amazing. To top it all if there’s lovely service and a chatty warm atmosphere.
유.
Great cake selection (really enjoyed eating). I liked the falafel, though it was definitely overpriced in my opinion, and I had the lamb siniya - very moreish but again, a bit pricey. Well cooked, though, and I liked the tahini crust. I'd visit again for brunch.
E. G. E.
I visited Honey & Co for the first time for a surprise birthday celebration. The restaurant maybe tiny, but what a little gem it proved to be. From the selection of main dishes, we chose Tunisian meatballs and Fish Pastilla; the food tastes home cooked and is delicious. The Cheesecake dessert is heavenly. The staff are very friendly and professional which makes for a most convivial atmosphere; so, big thanks are due to Sarah and Clair for great service.
J. F.
Tried their meze platter, lamb siniya and prawn tagine. The mains were great but some of the meze are a bit underwhelming and definitely on the pricey side.
F. K. (. M.
Truly unique - and in London that really is high praise indeed. Wait staff are friendly, polite, hospitable and very knowledgeable about the food and produce.
Great little place. No doubt you'd be better off booking in advance.
N. A.
Excellent food. The menu is small but everything on it sounds appealing. The restaurant is small but the atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. On the pricey side.
P. C.
We've had 2 deliveries from them during lockdown and each has been meticulously perfect in every way. Gorgeous flavours & very generous portions!
M. B.
An absolute must-try in London for both their savory meals and their sweet pastries. The eggplant dish is unlike anything I've ever had (how do they achieve that texture?) and their cheesecake dessert is a top 10 all-timer (and famous across London). If you go here and don't like, it, that's on you....
M. S.
This small restaurant is quickly becoming a mini empire and I can understand why. Food and service are fantastic, with a great selection of many vegetarian-friendly options. The aubergine with bbq tahini crust is officially my best meal in London, ever. Sweet, smoky, complex...everything about it is incredible. The restaurant has even published the recipe in the FT, inspiring me to try it at home!
k. w.
Had the Aubergine with jeweled rice, Lamb shawarma, and fish tangine (from the mains selection). The Aubergine dish was amazing—there were so many different flavors that seemed to work so well together! The fish tangine had plenty of sea bass and was served in a delicious soup; some grains would’ve gone well with it! The best part was the cheesecake!! I have never seen nor tasted anything like it before, granted this is my first time having middle eastern cuisine. It is unconventional, super creative, and so delicious! The only downside is that the food is really expensive here, though their mains _are_ shareable, so that could lower the cost, albeit just slightly.
M. B.
What a fabulous place with a beautiful, tasty, mouthwatering menu - so filling, though. It's a small place so be sure to book. Friendly & helpful staff, a wine selection that doesn't take an hour to peruse - a terrific restaurant to spend an hour or two with friends, family or just a close one
K. D.
Really fantastic meal here last night. We had just flown in and needed some food around 4:00 near our hotel and stumbled on this place. It’s super small inside, but the waiters were all really friendly and we happened to show up right as the kitchen was reopening for dinner. We shared a couple appetizers and one main which was enough for two. The falafel is the best I’ve ever had, with really good tahini. Perfectly crisp on the outside by soft and flavorful and not dry at all. The tabouli is different from any I’ve had, but light, fresh and tasty. The pomegranate chicken was also amazing, perfectly cooked and the grains it came with perfectly matched. The whole thing was perfect for a hot summer day. It was so good we couldn’t resist also getting the cheesecake dessert which was totally awesome. We’re only in London a few days but we might just go back for more.
K. T.
Personally not a big fan of Mediterranean food, but this place was surprisingly pleasant. Had their lamb salad and the meat was done well. The salad itself was also fresh and combined well with their peaches. Their elderflower drink was sweet and left a nice flavor in the mouth.
A. S.
I am not sure what all the hype is about. We came initially for tea and cake, but it was already dinner service, so we had to stay for dinner and we were not blown away by any of our dishes. Chicken was plain, lamb tarine was too oily and fig salad was nothing special at all. Maybe their desserts are good, but I am not coming for dinner anymore.
N. A.
Friendly service and absolutely delicious food, if not exactly cheap (£85 for two people). The menu is rather small so between my friend and me we ended up sampling all the starters and two of the five mains. Every single thing was delicious. Would definitely recommend.
y. m.
Came here for an early morning weekday breakfast, probably the only time you can actually get a place to sit. Recommend always booking a table in advance for this place. Had the lamb merguese roll. Well spiced meat encased in a flaky pastry served with a perfectly soft boiled egg, harissa and a really bright pickled carrot and tomato salad that really helps cut through the heaviness of the sausage. So good! And the flat white was on point as well. I wish I saved space for the really delicious looking desserts in the window. Maybe next time, when I have a booking.

After a visit to the Museum of London my wife and I were set on going to a recommended Middle Eastern restaurant, but decided that we should check if there was a similar restaurant nearby. A quick search and Honey & Co appeared on my screen and a 20 minute train ride later we were seated. It was packed so we took the only table left, it wasn't a great seat but before you know it the waitstaff had us seated at a much better location. My wife had the Lamb stifado and I had the Essaouira fish tagine. Food? Absolutely sumptuous!!! Service? Second to none and the prices wallet friendly. The vibe was so nice and I felt so comfortable that I was in a state of euphoria even before our starter was served. I'm in London at least twice a year and this is going to be my go to spot whenever I'm in town.
Love it, love it, love it.

This place is a gem. Love everything I’ve eaten there and the mezze doesn’t disappoint. Their cocktails aren’t for me (a bit sweet for my taste) but I’ve enjoyed everything else. Very generous portions. Casual atmosphere.
L. G.
Small and compact but the service and food are excellent. There is also their other shop serving delicious snacks across the street as well as beautiful gift and food ideas. A destination for one who enjoys good dining and all that goes with it.
R. S.
The food was absolutely delicious from starter to main to dessert. The staff were also lovely and attentive. Entirely recommend. One of my favourite dishes of all time is the Baked Aubergine Tahini thing.
M. H.
Very good food, though at the top of the price range, but this may be because the cafe is so small and so they have limited covers. Does get very busy at lunch and dinner. Booking advisable for any day of the week - lunch & dinner. For lunch may be better to go after the busy times, so after 2pm. They start serving lunch at 12 noon, when we went it was packed by 12.30. Not unusually to see people waiting outside on the pavement to get a table. Above all well worth the wait. Also a good idea to leave some space for their desserts - very good. Nice to pop in for a coffee first thing as quiet. If it was four times bigger they would still fill it without any problem. Quite basic interior - but it's about the food. Been three times in the space of two months now on my list of regular places.
j. q.
Food and service fantastic. My one negative point is how small the place is. You quickly become very aware that your conversation is being listened to by the table next to you and vice versa because of how tight the tables are compact next to each other. May not seem a problem for most people but I personally prefer some privacy. If your like me I'd recommend booking a table off peak.
D. Q.
Amazing Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. Every morsel was delicious. Staff are pleasant, and the restaurant is intimate and charming.
m. p.
Small restaurant serving a mix of middle eastern food. I really enjoyed my visit there. The quality of the food was really great. The place is a bit small and quite full so maybe we had to wait some minute longer but customer service was great and the food superb.
C. O.
I was very impressed by the starters, which were varied and absolutely delicious. (More bread would have been welcomed, though.) Had the spiced lamb and cauliflower for the main dish and it had a very interesting flavour. Servings were also sizable such that I had some leftovers to take home. Would definitely give this 5 stars except for the priciness.
•. P. •.
Ideal for: Fresh tasting, well executed Middle Eastern food. Highly rated but expect queues. Not a terrible amount of veggie choices, but what they do have is tasty. Meat friends will be happy
R. G.
Great Mediterranean/middle-eastern (Kosher I believe) restaurant extremely busy at lunch times. Make sure you book in advance. Its a bistro style, hence limited seating. Probably the reason why the food is so tasty. A bit on the high end for a lunch menu, I suppose its worth it ;) Very helpful staff, a nice bespoke wine selection and some great sweets. A must do if you are in Fitzrovia.
R. C. H.
Delicious middle eastern food, lovely cosy homely decor and atmosphere. Lively as usually fully booked! You get to walk past the kitchen on the way to the toilet and you see piles and piles of really delicious looking perfect fresh vegetables. Restaurant prices so tots up quite a bit but worth it once in a while. I usually leave very full. Really really hard to book a table. Need to book far in advance.
V. M.
One of the best middle eastern restaurants in London. Food is gorgeous and fresh and the staff are so warm and kind. I'm sure they could have a restaurant 3x the size and it would still be packed. Definitely worth a visit!
M. F.
The tastiest Israeli food in London. Even in these socially distanced times, the atmosphere was good and the waiters were spot on
A. L.
I so enjoy coming to this little cafe. The recipe book means I have a slice of Honey & Co. at home too. Always really delicious food. I've had breakfast and lunch there and really enjoyed both. Be warned though the toasted fig and walnut loaf is the sweetest thing you'll ever taste. Stunning salads for lunch, I loved a really refreshing pear and feta type thing, yum!
A. y.
This place is always busy but today was less crowded than usual. We got a seat at the bar by the window. Was not very impressed by the service.
I think they must have lost out order or missed it. Waited 35-40mins for the fig loaf toast and the sausage rolls. The coffee was ok, was a little disappointed by the sausage roll pastry. It was a little stale. The fig loaf was pretty dense and sweet, but I liked it, nicely paired with orange marmalade.
The waitress did apologize in the end for the slow service and gave us some cakes to make up for the delay. They also took off one of the coffees from the check. Appreciate the kind gesture.
Overall it could have been a better experience, I'd probably give it another chance. Hopefully it'll be better :)
P/s: The cakes are pretty good
S. W.
It's tiny, but don't let that put you off, just book in advance. We sat outside (wrapped in blankets) and had lunch and dessert. I had a beautiful chicken dumpling soup, was very fresh & full of flavour. To finish we all shared various baking delights that they have on display (to tempt you, & it works!). High recommended.
G. B.
One of my favourite places for brunch and lunch in London. Food is amazing and the vegetarian option are outstanding. The staff is just the best and I always feel at home when I’m there.
M. D. M.
Very Nice middle eastern food!

Finally made it to Honey & Co for brunch and it didn't disappoint. Lovely aubergine, tahini, frittata and egg goodness... Lots of loose teas (I had rose and cinnamon) and really tasty & beautiful looking cakes. It's quite small in there so expect to wait if you're there on the weekend.
K. T.
Enjoyed a casual lunch with friends here. We ordered the salted beef, lamb salad, and squid plate, all of which were delicious. Friends ordered lemonade which they commented was a bit sour at the beginning but probably became better as the ice cubes melted. My own elderflower drink was excellent.
I. G.
It's just amazing! Feast of a tummy! And so wonderful stuff!
C. o.
Ten of us came to celebrate our daughter's graduation ( did I mention she's a doctor now?). Fantastic meal, wonderful food , everything looked absolutely beautiful. We appreciated the service - the staff were kind and super professional. Thank you!
o. M.
Very tasty food to eat wow fantastic 😋 I will give it 5/5
D. S.
I'm sorry to ruin the party, but I feel I've to give this place one more try, in the hope that I experienced a bad day. Went here for lunch before the England/Sweden game. They'd run out of a ton of alcoholic gin based drinks, despite it being just 2 p.m. I had the Shawarma for my main and it was too wet - like a wet open sandwich on soggy Pita. I'd rate it a 5/10 at best. My wife waxed eloquent about her Aubergine dish. The hummus was also pretty good.
We didn't know that the weekend brunch is served till 11:30 a.m., which is what we'd originally gone to try out. Does seem a tad too early, but hey cannot argue with the restaurant policy here. Will try the brunch here sometime and then revisit and edit the ratings on here if necessary.
E. H.
Honey & co is always a favourite in the area. First time doing breakfast there today.
Great choice of food (and dairy free options), great service as well! Always love visiting, would recommend ⭐
C. M.
The Big breakfast is amazing, especially when you follow it with the cheesecake!
h. l.
This is really worth a visit - it's just delicious fresh food! It's only a small place but it is really lovely! Everything we tried tasted delicious, and kept on seeing other dishes coming out for other diners that i was thinking "Ooh that looks nice".
I'll definitely be visiting again to make sure i get to sample all the things i didn't get to try the first time.
C. B.
We went for breakfast- food was excellent! Their selection of homemade cakes and pastries looked delicious and very tempting! Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Must try if you’re in the area.
L.
The Big Breakfast 'starters' were frankly better than actual breakfast entrees. I'd love if they had that option to order just that! The breads, dips, granola were all delicious
L. B.
This place is easy to walk by and miss, but don't! The food (Middle-Eastern) is incredible. We started with the mezze to share with an array of choices, intense flavours and proper chunky hummus. The mains were hard to choose from, but the lovely owners helped us choose. I'm also glad I left room for pudding, even if you're full it would be hard not to be tempted by the selection laid out on the counter.
The restaurant is cosy and creates a lovely atmosphere of being in someone's front room. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in London.
A. B. H.
Not totally Middle Eastern . Very small place. You have to get reservation before you go. They have good falafel but they overcrowded it. Their hummus is not good. However, the staff is very welcoming.
D. O.
Delicious food - A very special place with a fantastic menu. The staff it’s very kind, efficient and welcoming. Fresh atmosphere, well thought decoration and good music. Thank you.
M. B.
Love this place! Been here a few times over the last few years, and it's now a staple when I am visiting London.. Small, casual, attentive service, fresh and delicious food. You just can't go wrong!
M. F.
Oh, my happy-place! I feel nourished just thinking about the food at this tiny middle eastern cafe-cum-restaurant. Such lovely people and smiling faces too. Honey and his lovely wife Honey make food that pings your tastebuds with flavours and textures it's not expecting but is very happy to meet. Equally as impressive with their sweet treats and savoury dishes, this place is truly a knock-out.
g. v. s.
I really love this place! Nice homemade food and delicious sweets 😋 the menu changes quite often so I can't recommend anything in particular, although don't miss the chocolate babka! Two flaws: it's really hard to get a table + it's a bit pricey (around 30£ for lunch).
S. L.
Excellent food. Middle eastern food. We had the meze for starter and lamb for mains. Mains came with rice cooked middle eastern way with fruits and nuts. Bread, dips, veg and meat excellent.
M. K.
Looking a lot like a small cafe but serving restaurant quality Eastern food. I particularly liked the range of teas and the spice level of the food which suited my palate perfectly (mild to medium spiced with lots of fresh flavour).
J. G.
We were there on a weekday evening, and queued for around 20 to 30 minutes to get seated. Really loved the stuffed courgette flower - a must-try (fried and stuffed with cheese and drizzled with honey, great combination).
A. K.
Cake 5 stars: homemade courgette cake was delicious, tea was normal. Ambience 3 stars: very basic, small space, white walls. Service 4 stars: nice, kind people, xant say it was extraordinary, definitely in no way bad. Would come back again for sure.
C. R.
Amazing food! We ordered the mackerel and the shawarma, and they were delicious. And the cheesecake of feta, just incredible! The staff, really nice and helpful.
k. P.
Honey&co. is a very friendly place . I love their cakes especially Financialy cake with dried roses on top along with a cup of latte, Definately hits the spot. When you fancy a spot of relaxing and a catch up with friends go to Honey and co.
T. D.
Really nice food but service is lacking. So is ventilation!
It’s the second time that I got very disappointed with service, despite loving the food there. This time I was made to wait quite some time standing just to learn eventually that breakfast is not being served any more. Why not tell your guests about it at the begging so that they don’t waste their time? And please invest in ventilation.
I. R.
A hidden gem in Fritzovia. Amazing Middle East food with very good atmosphere and at a decent prize. Perfect for dinner after work if you work in the area or to surprise someone on a date! Waiters were super nice too.
J. J.
Delicious food with a menu that is varied quite regularly - reflecting produce and seasonality. I went for lunch on autumnal Tuesday, the chicken pastilla was exquisite, i loved every bite. I have been to H&C about 5 times, each time the majority of the food is outstanding.
Key recommendations:
- Pomegranate Chicken
- Cheesecake
- Chicken Pastilla
- Humous (light and creamy)
- Anything from the dessert selection
H. Y.
Obsessed with their outpost honey & smoke and equally obsessed with this place. this is a lot more relaxed, more of a brunch vibe and what a brunch it is! So much food and such good value. Their service is brilliant too!
E. B.
One of my favourite restaurants in London. It's a cozy place that puts out really tasty food. The ever changing menu means you can go time and time again and experience new amazing flavours. They're cheesecake was amazing!
EDIT: Have revisited post-lockdown and it's as good as ever. Set menu options mean there's something for everyone.
A. K. R.
One of the best cheesecakes I have had in my life
T.
The food is just amazing! The twists they add gives the food a very different taste to the traditional Middle Eastern Food which makes it a pleasurable food experience! They use a lot of Cracked Wheat (borghol) and Frekeh in their dishes which I ABSOLUTELY adore! The fresh thyme on top of the cheese cake is such a brilliant twist! I believe that the hummous can be improved (my judgement as a Lebanese) and I wish Chicken Breast is used for the Chicken Shish.... PS. They serve traditional Turkish coffee with Cardamom :) I will definitely come again
M. G.
Highly recommended. The food has a great flair. I look forward to my next visit
J. R.
The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because the cheesecake may have been the best thing I have EVER eaten. You must try it. Both our dinners were ok at best. For the price of our mains, it just wasn't worth it. I think they need to deliver more than a ground lamb casserole with 2 pieces of eggplant and a tiny side of cherry tomatoes to charge 15 quid. And 4.8 quid for a take away piece of bubka? Get over yourselves. Definitely will not be back.
Z. B.
Every dish was delicious, simple and almost faultless. This is not high dining but a cosy cafe experience with good home-style dishes. The service was excellent and friendly. We had mezze, fatoush, grilled zucchini with a cold herb rice and yoghurt sauce and stewed lamb stuffed and baked in a pitta. If I had to criticize anything, it's hard to source great zucchini or tomatoes in winter but on the other hand the kalamata olives and feta were excellent.
M. S.
Amazing food and very friendly staff. Highly recommend
M. T.
Food was ok, but the lack of menus outside is pretty much forcing you to get something while you step in and the bill doesn't come cheap. Almost 90 pounds for a bit a salad and veggies and flat glass of bubbly!
P. M.
Lovely middle eastern cuisine in this warm and cosy restaurant. The chicken tagine, lamb rice and aubergine dish were the highlights...until the cheesecake arrived. Just wow.
K. K.
I was expecting a wow factor reading the reviews but what I got was overpriced and average meal. My lamb salad was way to sweet , no texture , no crunch just flat taste .
J. C.
Good service but our dishes (a fish tagine and an aubergine and lamb dish that a less fashionable restaurant would have called moussaka) were rather bland. The don't-call-it-moussaka was quite heavy too, which made for a dreary, stodgy combination. Overall not good value for money.
S. A.
Great place for a coffee pit stop and some delicious middle eastern inspired dessert. Nice list of cocktails and the mezze looked amazing. Arabic spices and deli items also on sale.
F. B.
Delicious set menu beginning with a HUGE platter of meze followed by a moussaka (me) and slow cooked lamb (husband). Dessert was a cheesecake that tasted like a forest: pine and honey sweet. Love this place.

Honey & Co has so few covers and such an unassuming facade that it's an easily missed eaterie seconds from Warren St tube. Miss it at your peril! (Although, make sure you book - due to the size, there is seldom a table available for walk-ins).
We tried most things on the menu as we were a group of 6, and everything was packed with flavour, perfectly cooked and served by lovely, knowledgeable waitresses. This place has been hailed by the critics, so you'd think you'd never catch a glimse of the chefs, but the husband and wife team are always popping upstairs to get diners' opinions on new and amended dishes, which is a lovely (and rare) touch that really personalises your visit.
I cannot recommend the cheesecake enough - it's cheesecake like you've never seen or tasted before; the lightest, smoothest ricotta with crunchy, honey-soaked kataifi pastry, I'm salivating just thinking about it. (We ordered this because of a reviewer on Time Out who described eating it thus: "like all the most beautiful celebrities having sex inside my mouth" - they're not far wrong).
I was fortunate enough to be expensing this lunch, so didn't feel the sting on my wallet afterwards, but it's worth noting that whilst each dish sounds fairly good value, due to the size of each portion, the cost will quickly rack up, particularly if you, like me, want to order everything on the menu.

Worth the wait to find a booking in this wonderful small poky restaurant with some of the best mezze platters in London and a fine selection of mains, my favourite being the rabbit. All topped off with a simple wine list and the smiles of friendly staff.
M. F.
Excellent place . The food is always freshly made and served at reasonable prices, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly staff not to mention the prompt and punctual service. Highly recommended.
M. N.
Bought a pastry to go. Staff were lovely, and I really enjoyed the blueberry ricotta hazelnut cheesecake slice. Inventive food. Yet to go back for a proper meal.
R. D.
Honey & Co. is definitely a contender for one of my favourite restaurants in London.
The restaurant - taking up a small soace just by Warren Street feels almost exclusive (make sure you book ahead of time) but very welcoming - has some of the finest Middle Eastern food I've tasted in London.
Highly recommend starting with the sharing Mezze between your group, the Kamooniya (chopped liver) is also insanely good and I could have eaten bowls of it. Although filling up would be a shame since all parts of the mezze and the selection of mains are great.
Be sure to save room for dessert I have to agree with the Observer that named the Cold cheese cake with Kadaif pastry as one of their 50 best dishes in London last year.
As well as the food, the service was great and I love the small venue. We had a great evening and can't wait to go back.
C. D.
The most beautiful delicious breakfast! I went there over a month ago and am still thinking about the fill pastry with cheese. Very busy and limited seating so get a reservation!
M. G.
Totally delicious food...... perfect layering of flavours with their very skilled, authentic middle eastern menu.....great atmosphere in this cosy, casual, busy restaurant with great staff. Will definitely return.....
D. B.
My husband and I were surprised when we walked up and were able to snag a table at 7pm on a Wednesday night. What a treat! Some of the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had! (and we lived in the Middle East so that's saying a lot) We had the set menu - mezze and mains. We could have just eaten the mezze - it was so much food! It was all so delicious. For mains we had the Tunisian meatballs and royal mansaf - the royal mansaf was my favourite dish. I wish we had room for dessert but we were so full! Will just have to return to bc I've heard the cheesecake is to die for!
Z. M. P.
Small cute place amd great breakfast
M. G.
Food was delicious. Expected a more lavish premises. Cafe style environment. Absolutely no air conditioning or transfer of hot air from basement kitchen to ground floor restaurant floor. Gasps of "somebody open a door" could be heard in this sweat box.
Lovely waitresses who were prompt and polite, lovely food, let down by a tacky sweaty venue. Everyones clothes stank of a working kitchen.
Won't be going back here until conditions change...
S. C.
Amazing, gorgeous Med food - their mezze is fantastic, and have not got a bad thing to say about any of the (meat) mains they've dolled out. ?Not cheap, but well worth the price. Tiny place, so booking is a must
a. v.
This is really a little hidden gem! you'd probably walk right past it if you're not careful. We only went in for cake and coffee, which was really yummi and we definitely want to go back for a proper meal. they also sell some yummi produce to take home if you like. Be careful though, the place is tiny so space is limited and a booking for a meal might be advisable.
C. T. S.
The food here is just incredible. Try their specialty cheesecake, I bought the recipe book just so I could make it at home... The staff are also always lovely.
D. C.
I waited a long time to visit this place. Even though I was adviced to go for even longer. So finally I tried . Always fully booked and that is simply because the food is very good. I had the lamb which was tender and so tasty. Small place well ranned by the staff. Must try....
M. Y.
I can't say enough good things about Honey & Co, my 'go to' shakshuka joint in London! It's so good that it's quickly become the standard against which I judge pretty much any and all shakshuka, hummus, and all things Israeli cuisine outside of Israel. My advice? Eat a light dinner the night before and don't make any meal plan for the rest of the day so that you can enjoy a proper shakshuka with ALL the trimmings! Seriously, it's that good ... and the labneh, properly creamy hummus, Jerusalem bagel, challah only add to the experience.
M. J.
The food was sublime, the atmosphere welcoming and the service excellent. My favourite was our waiter "Babka loving Clem" who advised we get every Babka on the menu. We were not disappointed.
H. C.
Just insanely good. Incredible, big breakfast. Always delicious. Always order the cheesecake- even for breakfast
D. S.
Fantastic food in a bright, intimate and casual setting. The hummus, asparagus and egg is delightful and healthy, the falafel is crunchy, and the shawarma is flavorful and deliciously falls appart. Also try the lemon cake.
F. P.
I had shakshuka. Delicious but a small portion. I had tea - I expected real leaf tea in a tea pot not a tea bag. The acoustics are bad so very noisy plus it’s a bit grubby. Could seriously do with a facelift.
D. K.
Cute small restaurant in Warren street, delicious food and generous portions.
H. H.
A pleasure to return after a number of years. As good as I had remembered
P. G.
Amazing restaurant! The dishes are amazing, good quality/quantity and the waiters are very kind. Highly recommend!! Will come back for sure
S.
Amazing fresh food, taste like your on holiday shame space is too small to accomodate more people. Make sure you book. Not cheap but food worth paying for and unusual menu.
S. D. J.
Lovely staff! Honey and feta cheesecake is the bomb!
Only thing is: during lunch and dinner, service is a bit slow. Maybe just too busy for the amount of staff.
B. M.
Astonishing middle Eastern food. The starter mezze especially were incredible. Service was delightful. Definitely book on the weekend as it was very busy.
D. M.
Sad to see the quality go down and service not as friendly and attentive as it used to be.. Appreciate it is a small place and always crowded but removing a table on each side of the room will help everyone including service. Pitta we were served was really undercooked and although changed with no problems it is sad to see what used to be an always 5 star place go down
A. F.
Food was okay
Overrated prices
Misguided with price tags
N. C.
Good food, but may not be worth all the hype
M. F.
The best part was the cheesecake!! I have never seen nor tasted anything like it before, granted this is my first time having middle eastern cuisine.
B. B.
Best babka this side of the pond!
L. E.
It has a bit the feel of a NYC place when you sit outside. Watching people as they pass by. The breakfast is really filling and tastes amazing, especially the brioche. It is a bit pricey the breakfast.
M. Y.
Whatever you do, don't miss their cheese cake! It is to die for! Only down side is the seats are too packed together that sometimes it is almost embarrassing as you almost have to tuck your elbows in to eat. But the chatty friendly waitresses always make you forget about the discomfort and enjoy the wonderful cooking.
B. D.
You wouldn't notice this place walking past but it's an amazing restaurant that serves some of the best Middle Eastern food in London. Shame that it's in a bit of an odd location with not many bars around (just the one pub next door) though it is worth the journey.
T. R.
Delicious middle eastern food (just order everything on the menu when you are four or more!) and drinks (orange blossom ice tea is to die for) in a friendly, relaxed setting and good value - don't bother going to the fancy places unless you need it for your ego
N. C.
Tasty food, beautifully presented, great value and friendly service! One of my best ever meals in London. Lunch menu is fantastic value
S. K.
Cute café with tasty food, albeit from ‘the middle east’ - slightly generic! losing some charm as it becomes more commercialised but still worth experiencing if you are lucky enough to get a table
H. W.
Great flavours and spices in the food. Worth a visit however the space is a little cramped and cafe like. Make sure you book.
k. r.
Fabulous middle eastern food you must try the Satsuka just delicious, it's a small establishment and you have to book because it gets very busy but it's worth it
G. B.
Excellent tasting food. Incredible flavour. Good portion size. Nice and intimate size and good service.
E. S.
Incredible dinner- the BBQ aubergine was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Delicious wines too.
C.
Food was lovely but service not as polished as normal and this is rare as usually it is excellent here. That said, I will return as this is a great venue for breakfast and the staff are really pleasant
D. R. A.
Albeit crowded and difficult to get a table - if you want Middle Eastern food this is the place to go - this is the closest you can get to Jerusalem cafes and Tel Aviv restaurants - service is excellent and ambience very relaxed - one of my top 5 in London...
S. M.
I had lunch on friday here and it was absolutely devine. At £20ish per person its great value and likely to result in some leftovers. Food is lovely would recommend
O. D.
Wonderful food and fantastic service. Thanks so much for looking after us so well. We are looking forward to coming back soon.
V. I.
Service is great and food is delicious. Everything we had tasted fresh and flavourfull. We only had vegetarian dishes and there's plenty to choose from.
J. A.
You won't be disappointed by the breakfast menu. Coffee is also top notch.
Service is always 5 stars here.
V. C.
Delicious food, good portions, friendly staff, and a really lovely atmosphere.
M. M.
Initially a little sluggish on the service and a couple of minor mistakes with the mezze but all made up for by genuine apologies and immediate fixing, plus the food being truly fantastic. Definitely recommended.
M.
Delicious middle eastern food. Sesame bread is outstanding. Breakfast was even better than dinner
A. T.
Recommended by our daughter who works nearby. Intimate dining with interesting middle Eastern menu. Great service. Not cheap but good value.
S. V.
Delicious food and cocktails. We loved the mezze and the feta cheesecake is to die for.
S. B.
Delightful shakshuka and brilliant babka! Really lovely place with amazing flavours and very friendly staff! A real gem!
A.
Great service and considerate table arrangement.
S. R.
Very tasty. A little cozy on the table spacing, though.
N. B. T.
Amazing food, fantastic FOH, chilled atmosphere... always great!
M. W.
Always the best food. One of our favourites
R. P.
Excellent food but too loud as it is a very small place. Definately would go back.
M. K.
Looking a lot like a small cafe but serving restaurant quality Eastern food. I particularly liked the range of teas and the spice level of the food which suited my palate perfectly (mild to medium spiced with lots of fresh flavour).
A. H.
Delicious! Fresh ingredients, good sized portions and wonderful flavours.
y. m.
Came here for an early morning weekday breakfast, probably the only time you can actually get a place to sit. Recommend always booking a table in advance for this place. Had the lamb merguese roll. Well spiced meat encased in a flaky pastry …
P. T.
Really good Mediterranean restaurant, it's bit small but very clean nice food, lovely, owners are very polite, l loved their salads l will go again
J. K.
Awesome breakfast options - something different to the normal London "breakfast" fare. Well worth a visit but must be booked in advance as very busy.
A. A.
Service is slow and it's small but the food is good. They are open when their counterpart honey and smoke is closed. Price is fairly high end
Y. M.
Cosy cafe , good service by friendly staffs.
N. C.
Favourite spot to have lunch/dinner when I'm in the area. Good quality food that comes in good quantity.
A.
I was expecting a coffee shop...what a fool I am, deceived by the name. So instead of eating my midday porridge, I ending up eating a fish tagine. Delightful and light, enjoyed it thoroughly
S. B.
Delightful shakshuka and brilliant babka! Really lovely place with amazing flavours and very friendly staff! A real gem!
j. c.
Enjoyed it very much!
R. C.
Excellent healthy food. Make sure you book ahead (perhaps well ahead) as it gets busy and isn't very large.
N. D.
Had the shakshuka and coffee and wasn’t very impressed. Must say the service was very good but the food was nowhere near as good as Honey & Smoke.
C. W.
Loved this place! Lovely atmosphere and very flavourful menu. Recommend booking beforehand!
A. K.
rich flavours of the southeast med, fragnant iced teas with cheesecake of the gods, lovely staff who made us very welcome despite pram, add a thick layer of creative fitzrovia types, had a lovely time
L. B.
Amazing food, great service. Very dainty cafe. I'd definitely visit again
R. P.
Excellent food but too loud as it is a very small place. Definately would go back.
D. P.
Fantastic breakfast - suitably busy though so get in before 9am. Green shaskouka and cardamom coffee is to die for!
D. J.
One of the best meals I've had in London. Had the quail with apricot and the cheesecake. Amazing.
S. B.
Really great food but a bit expensive and very hard to get a table. Their desserts are divine too!
J. G.
Amazing food! Their gluten-free chocolate & salted pecan slice with blood oranges is to die for!
W. A.
Unique honey blueberry mint cheesecake. Must try!
N. D.
Very good local restaurant serving middle eastern cuisine. Very good service and simple but quality food
a. v.
This is really a little hidden gem! you'd probably walk right past it if you're not careful. We only went in for cake and coffee, which was really yummi and we definitely want to go back for a proper meal. they also sell some yummi produce …

After a visit to the Museum of London my wife and I were set on going to a recommended Middle Eastern restaurant, but decided that we should check if there was a similar restaurant nearby. A quick search and Honey & Co appeared on my screen …
C. J.
Tasty food. Friendly service. What’s not to like!
S. D. J.
Lovely staff! Honey and feta cheesecake is the bomb!
Only thing is: during lunch and dinner, service is a bit slow. Maybe just too busy for the amount of staff.

The food was sublime, the atmosphere welcoming and the service excellent. My favourite was our waiter "Babka loving Clem" who advised we get every Babka on the menu. We were not disappointed.

Great flavours and spices in the food. Worth a visit however the space is a little cramped and cafe like. Make sure you book.

J. M.
Terrific excellent service food out of this world. Especially the cheesecake. If in London give it a go.
J. C.
the home of some of the best desserts in London! Book in advance or try and grab a seat outside to avoid disappointment!
M.
The food was very nice but I think it’s a bit of a disgrace that all their mains are over £20
T. G.
The prawn with watermelon is incredible!
G. B.
A tad cramped but interesting and very tasty menu. Will definitely come back.
