Food is solid here. I do order delivery from this place regularly and both dining in or eating out, their food always good and fresh. But chips sometimes warm and dry. They have live Turkish music on Fridays. Friendly service but some of their staff couldn’t speak much English. Food 8/10, service 7/10, ambience 7/10, value for money 8/10.

This place is amazing. I really liked the interior design. I ordered mix kebab lamb and chicken pieces in it, came with salad and chips. I also ordered one Turkish pizza (lahmacun) and a glass of pineapple juice. I paid around of 19 pounds. The staff was very friendly. Great food. Goooo😆👍💙💙💙💎💫✨🎄🍾

Absolutely magnificent experience! The food at this restaurant in Golders Green, is unbelievably delicious! The sauces are fresh and incredibly tasty leaving you wanting to have the starters for the main. The main is varied and mindblowing! The service is award-winning. Very authentic and delicious Turkish food with the friendliest and most helpful waitresses and they have a really nice outdoor dining area which makes you feel like you could even be on holiday in Turkey! Fantastic local gem and we'll definitely be coming back - their Adana kebab is so good and our huge lunch (for 2) came to just £40 including service so excellent value for money. 10/10 Highly recommended

Love this place! Great staff, fabulous food, complimentary baklava was a cherry on top, and oh so delicious. I am editing my review from a week ago when I suggested heaters on the terrace. I now went there again and the heaters have been installed 😻😻 I mean how amazing and responsive the Hosh team is! This place is amazing. From the start as we entered till we left, the staff were very attentive and fast. Went with 3 kids under 10yrs and we all enjoyed our meals. The cherry sauce and the halloumi starter was simply delicious. The manager/boss looks almost exactly like fluffy the Mexican American comedian. His warm reception alone is enough to make you feel at home. If you are a fan of Fluffy, make sure you go check this place out just for the hell of it. I went to HOSH for the first time last week and it was beautiful, the atmosphere was lovely, warm chilled and welcoming, the service from the staff was 10/10 and the food was Delicious. I went back last night for a takeaway and the staff remembered me and where so kind, the chef made another brilliant meal for me and I'm so impressed with the food I've just ordered again via deliveroo. I phoned the restaurant afterwards to ask for some olive oil to be put on my salad and was handed directly to the chef and he was so polite. It really makes a big difference when staff are so kind and polite. And to top it off with amazing food. I would eat here every day if I could. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 😊😊😊

Was in the area so gave this place a try today, ordered some mixed shish to take away. Oh my goodness it was amazing! Food was absolutely delicious, transported well and was still hot when we got home. Staff are very friendly and the restaurant is both clean and has great decor. I love schwarma and this place as well as another close by, have the best schwarma wraps in London. There are many good places but here the outside seating area is a must-try experience. Almost like being in Israel (by the sea coast. It's approx. 50 miles away but it's like being on a hilly mound overlooking the sea. Lol). The bread here is incomparable! Fir lunch, this place has to be visited. Excellent seating arrangement and overall, one of the top places to visit.

Very impressed. I have tried most Turkish places in London such as Gokyuzu, Likya, Diyarbakir, Lezziz etc and this is amongst the best. Best customer service ive experienced out of all the aforementioned. Waitress' extremely friendly and welcoming and there is someone to greet you at the door when you enter and leave. Food was very good although id say portions were a little smaller than other places ive been but quality was top notch. Complimentary turkish tea and dessert was a nice touch. My daughter liked the dessert so the lady waitress gave a couple more complimentary on her own accord. I highly value little gestures like this and I will be making Hosh my regular from now on!

Great meals to be had here. Usually very friendly staff. Great for individual meals or for shared platters. The lamb chops are to die for. Finish with the tea and baklava which is perfect- NOT too Sweet. A great find alongside the equally excellent LIKYA, a few doors down.

This place is really lovely. We are lovers of Likya just down the road, and so had high hopes, and we were not disappointed! I love the decor, the staff were friendly and helpful and my oh my the food delicious! We had a mixed grill for 2 that was so big we had enough to both have lunch the next day. The salad is fresh and delightful, and the meat so tasty and grilled to perfection. Even the bread was tasty, and the turkish delight given with the bill very moreish! It was so good, we are going with the extended family so they can try it!

This restaurant is newly opened on 20.10.18 and reminds me of another one from Wood Green "Gökyüzü" same style food and the place looks like a copy of that (when I say this I mean that they share to many things in common). I will say a minus because the owner didn't find an original idea.The food was good but can be even better. I order a mixed grill with salad and it was delicious but for 17.00£ I will say the portion is to small. My fiance got a chicken döner 11.50£ but the quality of the meat is not the best( smells like fat and to burnt). Overall this restaurant deserves 4 stars. Ps: I will try again and I will return with a late edit.

They never disappoint. I celebrated my birthday there back in July and now back again. Food on point service great and ambiance good. I will eat there every day if I have my way. Please visit and you will not regret it.

Not a very good restaurant. Slow staff and even slower service. We were waiting in excess of half an hour for our food to arrive. And there were about 7 other people there. We got a fish shish and I did not enjoy it much. The tuna tasted off, and made your tongue feel very uncomfortable, and the halibut tasted weird and so did the salmon. Also, very small portions. I would have given two stars apart from the fact that they gave us compensation, by allowing us to order a different meal, and taking the fish off of the bill. Otherwise, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fish shish, or anything fish related.

Pity This is a nice restaurant, the food is good but it is not so popular. The reason is the music. They play a lot of loud, rap and electronic music. This is NOT what people want to hear when they go out with friends for lunch. Today we had to listen to loud rap music, while trying to eat Turkish. This is why people do not come here.

VERY DISAPPOINTED........ On many occasions I have ordered a take away from Hosh Golders Green and the food and service has been superb BUT yesterday I put a food order in for Collection over the phone for my usual Lamb Doner, Chicken Donner and Lamb Ribs. I requested NO rice. The out come was awful. Since my last order a week ago, and all other times before that, they have changed the lamb doner from good quality proper lamb (the one where the lamb meat pieces are stacked up and squashed together to form the roasting doner) to what I can only describe as a processed barrel of meat, the ones you find in cheap kebab shops where they use and electric shaver to trim the meat. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE..... this is so sad. As always I asked for the meat to be placed separately in boxes without rice but they didnt listen and included the rice (They do this to reduce the amount of chicken doner and lamb doner in a portion so as to make more money. For me it's not about the money, I would happily pay more for a larger portion. Over all I feel very disappointed, I wont be returning. I see Likya down the street is much busier and now I know why.

The rice is cooked with chickpeas(!) my favorite ingredient (haha✔️).I walked in on the first day, just after opening, out of curiosity so I was welcomed very warmly, the place looks fresh, and it makes u feel slightly like you are in Middle East - that’s how I felt- even though I was taking the food out. Price- this is a bit worrying- Golders Green is already very pricey as it is, and there are not many places to eat for less than £6 for lunch for example. This restaurant is more for meal out not a lunch break. It’s a little bit overpriced imo. I hope they will adjust the prices soon;) as I would like to come back again;)

Relatively new addition to Golders Green High Street. Really nicely decorated interiors and was very intrigued by the menu. We shared a few of the mezze to start, which unfortunately was a little inconsistent. The baba ganoush was delicious but the calamari seemed to be fried from pre-bought frozen and the falaffel wasn't the best. The mains, by contrast, were really good!! We shared the lamb with vegetables and mushroom and the chicken in bread with yoghurt sauce and both were so tasty! Would definitely recommend but suggest keeping to the main menu!
